► The jug heats up during operation. Always hold it by the

handle.

► Do not touch the rotating parts during operation!

► Ensure that the appliance is stable and upright before turning it

on. Otherwise, the appliance may tip over and the hot milk will

spill out.

► After use, the surfaces of the heating elements will still have

some residual heat.

► The appliance should be set up in such a way that you have

unrestricted access to the power socket at all times and can

disconnect the plug immediately in an emergency.

► Check the appliance for visible external damage before use.

Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged or

Important cord information

This appliance is equipped with a 3-wire cord set that has a 3-wire

grounding plug. It should be properly connected to a grounding-

type outlet. The plug is designed to ﬁt a grounded 3-prong

outlet ONLY and as such, the grounding prong should never be

removed. If needed, purchase a 2-prong adapter and ground it

to the outlet. Do not use an adapter unless you are conﬁdent it

is grounded. Do not modify this plug. If the plug does not ﬁt the

outlet securely, call a qualiﬁed electrician for assistance.

Intended use

This appliance is intended solely for heating milk and whisking milk

into froth (hot or cold) in domestic households. It is not intended

for use with any other liquids or for commercial applications.

This appliance is intended solely for use in private households.

Claims of any kind for damage resulting from improper use,

incompetent repairs, unauthorized modiﬁcations, or the use of

Preparations before ﬁrst use

Unpacking

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instruc-

tions from the box.

2) Remove all packaging material.

3) Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning and

maintenance”.

Setting up

1) Place the appliance on a dry and level surface. Ensure that the

power plug is within easy reach.

2) Insert the plug into a power socket.

Tips for frothing milk

■ Froth only cow's milk with this appliance. Other types of milk

can only be frothed to a certain extent or may cause the

appliance to overﬂow.

■ Low-fat milk might not froth as well. Therefore, use milk with a

fat content of 3.5% or 1.5% when possible.

■ Well-cooled milk can be frothed better than warm milk.

■ Do not froth the milk a second time, otherwise it may burn.

■ Leave frothed milk to stand for about 30 seconds before you

add the foam to cappuccino, espresso, etc. This allows the

larger bubbles to burst and the still liquid milk sinks to the

bottom. You can then use the ﬁne foam.

Use

For safety reasons you should

not open the lid  while the appliance is in operation. There is a

risk of scalding.

Always use fresh milk. Do not

consume milk that has been standing in the jug for an

extended period of time.

If you lift the jug oﬀ the base  during preparation, the appli-

ance will stop. You will have to restart preparation by pressing the

On/Oﬀ / program selection button .

Making hot frothed milk

1) If not yet attached: Insert the spiral coil into the slots of the

whisk on the stirrer .

2) Remove the jug from the base  and add milk. Add

enough milk to reach the MIN mark inside the jug 

(5.0 ﬂ oz / 130 ml). Never exceed the lower MAX mark

(11.8 ﬂ oz / 350 ml). Otherwise, the milk may overﬂow. When

frothed, the volume of the milk increases signiﬁcantly!

If there is not enough milk in the appliance, all three red symbols

, and will ﬂash simultaneously shortly after you start the

appliance and you will hear 9 beeps. Add milk. Observe the

MIN mark!

3) Place the jug on the base .

4) Put on the lid  with the stirrer .

5) Press the On/Oﬀ / program selection button  once to

produce ﬂuﬀy froth. The symbol lights up.

Press the On/Oﬀ / program selection button  twice to

produce dense froth. The symbol lights up.

The whisk will start rotating and frothing the milk until milk is

heated.

6) The appliance turns oﬀ as soon as the milk is frothed. The

appropriate symbol / will ﬂash for approximately 30

seconds and you will hear a beep.

If you wish to stop the preparation process before completion,

press the On/Oﬀ / program selection button . To restart the

preparation process, press the On/Oﬀ / program selection 

once or twice again until the symbol or lights up. The

preparation process will restart.

7) Wait about 30 seconds. During this time the still liquid milk

ﬂows to the bottom.

8) Remove the lid  and pour the milk froth into the desired

container.

Wait about 2 minutes before you froth up another portion of milk.

Heating milk

1) If not yet attached: Insert the spiral coil into the slots of the

whisk on the stirrer .

2) Remove the jug from the base  and add milk. Add

enough milk to reach the MIN mark inside the jug 

(5.0 ﬂ oz / 130 ml). Never exceed the lower MAX mark

(16.9 ﬂ oz / 500 ml).

Otherwise, the milk may overﬂow.

If there is not enough milk in the appliance, all three red symbols

, and will ﬂash simultaneously shortly after you start the

appliance and you will hear 9 beeps. Add milk. Observe the

MIN mark!

To prepare hot chocolate, add the cocoa powder to the jug 

now. The right amount of cocoa powder varies depending on the

brand and your personal taste. Consult the instructions on the

packaging of the cocoa powder.

3) Place the jug on the base .

4) Put the lid  on.

5) Press the On/Oﬀ / program selection button  3 times

until the symbol lights up. The appliance will heat up the

milk and the whisk will start rotating. This ensures that the milk

is heated evenly.

6) The appliance turns oﬀ, the symbol will ﬂash for approxi-

mately 30 seconds and you will hear a beep as soon as the

milk is hot.

If you wish to stop the preparation process before completion,

press the On/Oﬀ / program selection button .

To restart the preparation process, press the On/Oﬀ / program

selection button  3 times again until the symbol lights

up. The preparation process will restart.

7) Take the lid oﬀ and pour the hot milk into the desired

container.

Wait about 2 minutes before you heat up another portion of milk.

Making cold frothed milk

1) If not yet attached: Insert the spiral coil into the slots of the

whisk on the stirrer .

2) Remove the jug from the base  and add the cold milk.

Add enough milk to reach the MIN mark inside the jug 

(5.0 ﬂ oz / 130 ml). Never exceed the lower MAX mark

(11.8 ﬂ oz / 350 ml).

Otherwise, the milk may overﬂow. When frothed, the volume

Using milk froth

You can use the milk froth for various drink options:

Italian-style cappuccino

■ Pour an espresso (about 0.8 - 1.0 ﬂ oz / 25–30 ml) into an

approx. 4.0 - 6.0 ﬂ oz / 120–180 ml cup.

■ Then add milk froth to it until the cup is ﬁlled to the brim.

Marocchino

■ Melt about a teaspoon of milk chocolate.

■ Spread the melted chocolate onto the inside of a glass and

add a shot of espresso.

■ Add around 3–4 teaspoons of frothed milk and then sprinkle it

with cocoa powder.

Vienna Melange

■ Pour about 4.2 ﬂ oz / 125 ml of strong black coﬀee into a

mocha coﬀee cup.

■ Froth up about 4.4 ﬂ oz / 130 ml of milk and add as much

milk froth as is needed to ﬁll the cup to just below the rim.

■ Depending on personal taste, you can add a little sugar.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning the appliance,

disconnect the power plug from the power socket! Otherwise,

there is a risk of electric shock!

Never open any parts of the housing. There are no serviceable

parts whatsoever inside. When the housing is open, there is a risk

of a potentially fatal electrical shock.

Never immerse the base in water or other liquids!

Allow the appliance to cool

suﬃciently before cleaning it. Risk of burns!

Do not use abrasive or caustic

cleaning agents. They can attack the surface and damage the

appliance beyond repair.

Ideally, clean the appliance directly after cooling, so that milk

residues cannot dry onto it.

For the ﬁrst, rough cleaning, ﬁll the jug  with water and a little

detergent (the used whisk  is still ﬁtted). Pay attention to the

MIN and MAX marks.

Start the appliance so that the whisk swirls through the water.

Afterwards, rinse the appliance out with plenty of clean water.

■ Disassemble the appliance to clean it thoroughly:

–remove the spiral coil  from the appliance.

–Pull the sealing ring  oﬀ the lid .

■ Clean the lid and stirrer , sealing ring , spiral coil 

and jug in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse all the

parts thoroughly to remove any detergent residue. Dry all parts

well.

You can also clean the jug in the dishwasher.

■ Wipe the base  with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains use

a mild detergent on the cloth. Afterwards, wipe it with a cloth

moistened only with fresh water to ensure that all detergent is

removed. Dry the base well before using it again.

■ Reassemble the appliance:

–Push the sealing ring  back onto the rim of the lid .

–Ensure that the small sealing lip on the sealing ring is

facing outwards.

–Insert the spiral coil into the slots of the whisk on the

stirrer .

–Place the lid  back onto the jug .

Storage

■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean and dry location.

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.

▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow

the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user

manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts

(such as switches, glass, etc.);

▯ Improper use or transport;

▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, ﬁre, water, etc.);

▯ Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing

screws etc.)

Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under

this warranty. However, some states do not allow the exclusion or

limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation

or exclusion may not apply to you.

What is the period of coverage and warranty resolution?

The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase.

At our discretion, product will either be refunded or replaced.

Preparativos antes del primer uso

Desempaque

1) Retire todas las partes del dispositivo y el instructivo de

operación de la caja.

2) Retire todo el material de embalaje.

3) Limpie el dispositivo como se describe en la sección

"Limpieza y mantenimiento".

Colocación

1) Coloque el dispositivo sobre una superﬁcie seca y nivelada.

Asegúrese de que la clavija de corriente sea fácil de alcanzar.

2) Inserte la clavija en un conector de alimentación.

Sugerencias para formar espuma

■ Espume solamente leche de vaca con este dispositivo. Otros

tipos de leche pueden espumarse solamente hasta cierto grado,

ya que pueden causar que el dispositivo se derrame.

■ La leche baja en grasa tampoco debería espumarse. Por lo

tanto, use leche con un contenido de grasa de 3.5% o 1.5%

cuando sea posible.

■ La leche bien enfriada puede espumarse mejor que la leche

tibia.

■ No espume la leche una segunda vez, ya que podría quemarse.

■ Permita que la leche espumada repose durante unos 30

segundos antes de agregar la espuma a cappuccino, espresso,

etc. Esto permite que las burbujas grandes estallen y que la

leche líquida en reposo descienda hasta el fondo. Entonces

puede usar la espuma ﬁna.

Uso

Por motivos de seguridad,

no abra la tapa  cuando el dispositivo está funcionando. Existe

el riesgo de escaldaduras.

Use siempre leche fresca.

No consuma leche que haya estado reposando en la jarra 

durante mucho tiempo.

Si levanta la jarra de la base  durante la preparación, el

dispositivo se detendrá. Deberá reiniciar la preparación el

presionar el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de

programa .

Preparación de leche con espuma caliente

1) Si aún no está colocado: Inserte la espiral en las ranuras

del globo en el agitador .

2) Retire la jarra de la base  y agregue leche. Agregue suﬁ-

ciente leche para llegar a la marca MIN dentro de la jarra 

(5.0 ﬂ oz / 130 ml). Nunca rebase la marca MAX inferior

(11.8 ﬂ oz / 350 ml). De lo contrario, la leche puede derra-

marse. ¡Cuando se espuma, el volumen de la leche aumenta

signiﬁcativamente!

Si no hay suﬁciente leche en el dispositivo, los tres símbolos

rojos , y parpadearán al mismo poco tiempo después de

que se encienda el dispositivo, y se escucharán 9 pitidos.

Agregue leche. ¡Observe la marca MIN!

3) Coloque la jarra en la base .

4) Coloque la tapa  con el agitador .

5) Presione el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de

programa  una vez para producir espuma esponjosa.

El símbolo se ilumina. Presione el botón de encendido

y apagado / selección de programa  dos veces para

producir espuma densa. El símbolo se ilumina. El globo

comenzará a girar y a espumar la leche hasta que se caliente.

6) El dispositivo se apaga una vez que la leche esté espumada.

El símbolo correspondiente / parpadeará durante unos

30 segundos y se escuchará un pitido.

Si desea detener el proceso de preparación antes de terminar,

presione el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de pro-

grama . Para reiniciar el proceso de preparación, presione

el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de programa 

una o dos veces nuevamente hasta que el símbolo o

se ilumine. El proceso de preparación se reiniciará.

7) Espere aproximadamente 30 segundos. Durante este tiempo,

la leche líquida en reposo ﬂuye hasta el fondo.

8) Retire la tapa  y vierta la espuma de leche en el recipiente

que desee.

Espere unos 2 minutos antes de espumar otra porción de leche.

Calentamiento de leche

1) Si aún no está colocado: Inserte la espiral en las ranuras

del globo en el agitador .

2) Retire la jarra de la base  y agregue leche. Agregue

suﬁciente leche para llegar a la marca MIN dentro de la

jarra (5.0 ﬂ oz / 130 ml). Nunca rebase la marca MAX

inferior (16.9 ﬂ oz / 500 ml). De lo contrario, la leche

puede derramarse.

Si no hay suﬁciente leche en el dispositivo, los tres símbolos

rojos , y parpadearán al mismo tiempo poco después de

que se encienda el dispositivo, y se escucharán 9 pitidos.

Agregue leche. ¡Observe la marca MIN!

Para preparar chocolate caliente, agregue polvo de cacao a la

jarra  ahora. La cantidad adecuada de polvo de cacao depen-

de de la marca y de su gusto personal. Consulte las instrucciones

en el empaque del polvo de cacao.

3) Coloque la jarra en la base .

4) Coloque la tapa .

5) Presione el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de

programa  3 veces hasta que el símbolo se

ilumine. El dispositivo calentará la leche y el globo empezará

a girar. Esto asegura que la leche se caliente de manera

uniforme.

6) El dispositivo se apaga, el símbolo parpadeará durante

aproximadamente 30 segundos y se escuchará un pitido en

cuanto la leche esté caliente.

Si desea detener el proceso de preparación antes de terminar,

presione el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de

programa . Para reiniciar el proceso de preparación,

presione el botón de encendido y apagado / selección de

programa  3 veces nuevamente hasta que el símbolo

se ilumine. El proceso de preparación se reiniciará.

7) Retire la tapa  y vierta la leche caliente en el recipiente que

desee.

Uso de la espuma de leche

Puede usar la espuma de leche para varias opciones de bebidas:

Capuccino estilo italiano

■ Vierta un espresso (aproximadamente de 0.8 a 1.0 ﬂ oz /

25 a 30 ml) en una taza de aproximadamente 4 a 6 ﬂ oz /

120 a 180 ml.

■ Luego agregue espuma de leche hasta que la taza quede

llena hasta el borde.

Marocchino

■ Derrita aproximadamente una cucharadita de chocolate de

leche.

■ Esparza el chocolate fundido dentro de un vaso y agregue un

chorrito de espresso.

■ Agregue de 3 a 4 cucharaditas de leche espumada y luego

rocíela con polvo de cacao.

Viena Melange

■ Vierta unas 4.2 ﬂ oz / 125 ml de café negro fuerte en una

taza de café moka.

■ Espume hasta aproximadamente 4.4 ﬂ oz / 130 ml de leche y

agregue toda la cantidad de espuma de leche que se necesite

para llenar la taza hasta justo por debajo del borde.

■ Dependiendo de su gusto personal, puede usar un poco de

azúcar.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

¡Antes de limpiar el

dispositivo, desconecte la clavija de la toma de corriente! ¡De lo

contrario, existe el riesgo de descarga eléctrica!

Nunca abra ninguna de las partes de la carcasa. No hay partes

en su interior que requieran servicio. Cuando la carcasa está

abierta, existe el riesgo de recibir una descarga eléctrica poten-

cialmente fatal.

¡Nunca sumerja la base en agua u otros líquidos!

Permita que el dispositivo se

enfríe lo suﬁciente antes de limpiarlo. ¡Riesgo de quemaduras!

No use limpiadores abrasivos o cáusticos.

Estos pueden atacar la superﬁcie y dañar irreparablemente el

dispositivo.

De manera ideal, limpie el dispositivo inmediatamente después

de que se enfríe, de modo que los residuos de leche no se sequen

en él. Para la primera limpieza, llene la jarra  con agua y

un poco de detergente (el globo  usado aún está colocado).

Observe las marcas MIN y MAX . Encienda el dispositivo para

que el globo se arremoline en el agua. Después, enjuague el

dispositivo con abundante agua limpia.

■ Desarme el dispositivo para limpiarlo completamente:

–retire la espiral  del dispositivo.

–Quite el anillo de sello  de la tapa .

■ Limpie la tapa y el agitador , el anillo de sello , la

espiral y la jarra en agua tibia con un detergente

suave. Enjuague las partes profusamente para eliminar

cualquier residuo de detergente. Seque bien todas las partes.

También puede lavar la jarra en la máquina lavaplatos.

■ Limpie la base  con una tela humedecida. Para manchas

persistentes, use un detergente suave en la tela. Después,

frótela con una tela humedecida solamente con agua potable

para asegurar que se elimine todo el detergente. Seque la

base bien antes de volver a usarla.

■ Vuelva a armar el dispositivo:

–Empuje el anillo de sello  nuevamente dentro del borde

de la tapa . Asegúrese de que la lengüeta de sello

pequeña en el anillo de sello quede hacia afuera.

–Inserte la espiral en las ranuras del globo en el

agitador .

–Coloque la tapa  nuevamente en la jarra .

Almacenamiento
