Tremco SP Primer is a water-based primer with a high tack finish that promotes adhesion for a variety of roof coatings
including elastomeric and asphalt-emulsion roof coatings. Tremco SP Primer improves top-coat adhesion of coatings when
applied to single ply membranes such as EPDM, PVC, PIB, TPO and Hypalon which may be too slick for direct application of roof
coatings. Also suitable for use on asphalt emulsions.
DIRECTIONS
APPLICATION: Apply with brush or roller. Surface must be sound, clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, mold, algae, heavy rust,
excess chalk, and other foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion. Apply only at temperatures above 45ºF and rising
with less than 90% humidity. Tremco SP Primer is milky white in the container and when first applied, but will dry to clear,
tacky finish. All substrates primed with Tremco SP Primer must be coated the same day. Re-prime areas that have been
contaminated with dust or debris.
COVERAGE: Coverage will vary depending upon surface porosity and application conditions. Approximately 300-400 sq. ft. per
gallon (7.4-9.8 m2 per liter).
DRY TIME: Allow primer to completely dry so it will not track under foot trac before applying acrylic coating (1 hour
minimum). Avoid foot trac on primed surfaces. All substrates primed with Tremco’s SP Primer must be coated the same day.
Re-prime areas left open overnight or which have been contaminated with dust or debris.
CLEAN UP: Clean wet coating with soap and water. Dry coating may be removed with mineral spirits. Use care when handling.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Keep container tightly closed. Store in a well-ventilated place. Dispose of contents in accordance
with local regulations. KEEP FROM FREEZING. Store in a heated area.
LIMITATIONS: The roof primer is a base coat that is not intended for long-term exposure to the elements without a roofing
topcoat. Not recommended for use over Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) as a coating primer. Not intended for use over Kynar®
or new roof membranes. TPO should be allowed to weather at least 6 months before coating. (*KYNAR is a trademark

Caution: Contains Methyl-2-Pyrrolidinone. Causes nose, throat, eye, and skin irritation. May be
harmful if absorbed through skin. Harmful if swallowed. NOTICE: Reports have associated repeated
and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system
damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or
fatal. Do not breathe vapors. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness or if air monitoring
demonstrates vapor/mist levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate, properly fitted
respirator (NIOSH approved) during and after application. Follow respirator manufacturer’s directions
for respirator use. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. KEEP OUT
OF REACH OF CHILDREN. First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for
at least 15 minutes and get medical attention immediately; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and
water. If you experience diculty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued diculty
is experienced, get medical attention immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Get medical
attention immediately. If spilled, contain spilled material and remove with inert absorbent. Dispose of
contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal
regulations. For emergency, call your physician, local poison control center or local emergency room.

El imprimador Tremco SP Primeres un imprimador a base de agua de gran densidad que favorece la adhesión en diversos revestimientos para

INSTRUCCIONES

LIMITACIONES: El imprimador de techo es una capa base que no está destinada a la exposición durante tiempo prolongado sin que se aplique una
capa de acabado de techos. No se recomienda para usar sobre espuma de poliuretano con rociador (SPF) como imprimador para revestimientos.
No destinado para el uso sobre Kynar® o membranas de techo nuevas. Los TPO (techos de poliolefina se deben exponer al clima al menos 6 meses

Precaución: Contiene N-metil-2-pirrolidona. Causa irritación en la nariz, la garganta, los ojos y la piel. Puede ser
perjudicial si se absorbe a través de la piel. Es perjudicial si se ingiere. AVISO: Algunos informes han asociado la
sobreexposición laboral repetida y prolongada a solventes con daños permanentes al cerebro y al sistema nervioso.
El uso incorrecto intencional de concentrar e inhalar deliberadamente el contenido del producto puede ser perjudicial
o mortal. No aspire los vapores. Si le lloran los ojos, tiene dolores de cabeza o mareos, o si el control del aire muestra
que los niveles de vapor o vahos son superiores a los límites vigentes, use un respirador apropiado que se ajuste
adecuadamente (aprobado por NIOSH, Instituto Nacional para la Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional) durante y después
de la aplicación. Siga las instrucciones de uso del respirador proporcionadas por el fabricante. Evite el contacto con los
ojos, la piel o la ropa. Lávese bien después de manipular el producto. MANTENGA EL PRODUCTO ALEJADO DEL
ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS. Primeros auxilios: En caso de contacto con los ojos, enjuague de inmediato con abundante
agua durante al menos 15 minutos y busque atención médica. En caso de contacto con la piel, lave bien con agua y
jabón. Si tiene dificultad para respirar, salga del lugar y respire aire puro. Si la dificultad para respirar persiste, busque
atención médica de inmediato. En caso de ingestión, no induzca el vómito. Busque atención médica de inmediato. En
caso de derrame, contenga el material derramado y retírelo con absorbente inerte. Deseche el absorbente
contaminado, el envase y el contenido sin usar de acuerdo con las normas locales, estatales y nacionales. En caso de
