SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER is a high solids, acrylic elastomeric sealer designated for use on a
variety of roofing and wall substrates. SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER exhibits excellent weather-
ability and ultraviolet resistance. SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER provides waterproofing protection
at seams, fasteners, and penetrations. All cracks, seams, or penetrations greater than 1/8” must be
reinforced using TREMCO PERMAFAB in a three-course application. SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER
may also be used to fill small to medium cracks and small spalling areas on concrete, masonry, or
stucco type wall surfaces.
DIRECTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, debris, grease, oil, loose
paint or coating, and rust which could prevent proper adhesion. All rusted areas must be primed
prior to application of SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER. If surface was previously coated, please
contact Tremco for adhesion check and surface preparation recommendations.
APPLICATION: Apply SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER using brush, trowel or putty knife. Allow to cure
24-48 hours prior to the application of Tremco’s SOLARGARD Coating Systems.
COVERAGE: SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER will cover approximately 50’-75’ at 1/8” thickness, at a
width of 4”-6”. Approximately 25’-40’ when using in a three course application using PERMAFAB
reinforcing fabric. Will encapsulate approximately 150-200 fasteners per gallon.
DRY TIME: 24-48 hours
CLEAN UP: Water
LIMITATIONS: Application temperature shall be a minimum of 45°F dry and rising. Protect from freezing
during shipment and storage. Not intended for immersion service over coal tar, silicone-based
products, or below grade. Do not apply when rain is imminent. Do not apply greater than 50 wet mils.
PRECAUTIONS: Do not take internally. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe dust, vapors
or spray mist. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. Close container after each use. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes. Wash thoroughly after handling. First Aid: If you experience diculty in
breathing, leave area to obtain fresh air. If continued diculty is experienced, get medical assistance
immediately. In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and water and eyes with plenty of
water. If swallowed, get medical attention immediately. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. For
emergency, call your physician, local poison control center or local emergency room. For product health

El sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER es un sellador acrílico con propiedades
elastómeras con alto contenido sólido indicado para el uso en una gran variedad de sustratos para
techos y paredes. El sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER presenta una excelente
resistencia a la intemperie y a la luz ultravioleta. El sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER
ofrece protección impermeable en las juntas, sujetadores y filtraciones. Todas las grietas, juntas o
filtraciones mayores a 1/8” deben reforzarse con una aplicación de tres pasos de PERMAFAB. El
sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER también puede utilizarse para rellenar grietas
pequeñas a medianas y en pequeñas áreas de descascaramiento en superficies laterales de
concreto, mampostería o estuco.
INSTRUCCIONES
PREPARACIÓN DE LA SUPERFICIE: Todas las superficies deben estar limpias, secas y libre de
suciedad, escombros, grasa, aceite, pintura o revestimiento suelto y óxido que pueda evitar la
correcta adhesión. Colocar un imprimador en todas las áreas oxidadas antes de aplicar el sellador
acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER. Si la superficie fue revestida previamente, comuníquese con
el Departamento Técnico para que le recomienden cómo prepararla y verificar la adhesión.
APLICACIÓN: Aplique el sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER con una brocha, llana o
espátula. Deje curar entre 24 a 48 horas antes de la aplicación de los sistemas de recubrimiento
Tremco’s SOLARGARD.
RENDIMIENTO: El sellador acrílico SOLARGARD ACRYLIC SEALER cubrirá aproximadamente 50’ a
