• Do not use this Spotlight for other purposes than its intended use. This Spotlight is intended for household
and outdoor use. Be aware of applicable laws and regulations that may be in effect where this Spotlight is
used.
Electric Shock Hazards
• Never attempt to charge a damaged Spotlight.
• Never operate the Spotlight if any part of the Spotlight is corroded or damaged.
• Never charge the Spotlight around water or while exposed to rain.
Fire / Explosion Hazards
• Never operate the Spotlight near flammable materials or in any location where flammable fumes may
accumulate.
• Never place the Spotlight lens down on any surface when the light is on.
• Never allow the Spotlight to be exposed to fire, direct flame or high-heat sources.
• Never submerge the Spotlight in water.
Blinding Hazards
• Never shine the Spotlight directly into your eyes, the eyes of others or at animals.
• Never operate the Spotlight on or near a roadway or while driving or in a vehicle.

CARGA DE LA LÁMPARA
AVISO
Esta Lámpara es despachada parcialmente cargada. ANTES de usarla por primera vez,
cargue la batería de la Lámpara usando el adaptador de carga de 110/120 voltios CA de 10 a 11 horas
o el adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC durante 22 horas. El no cumplir con este procedimiento
podrá dañar permanentemente la batería. No la cargue por más de 24 horas.
Características del Cargador
• El adaptador de carga de 110/120 voltios CA permite usar un toma corriente doméstico (110/120 voltios
CA). El adaptador de carga de 110/120 voltios CA se conecta al puerto de carga ubicado en la parte
trasera de la carcasa de la Lámpara.
• El adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC permite cargar la batería usando el enchufe hembra del
encendedor de cigarrillos/accesorios de 12 voltios CC. El adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC se
conecta al puerto de carga ubicado en la parte trasera de la carcasa de la Lámpara. El adaptador de

INTRODUCTION
Read and understand this Owner’s Manual before using the Spotlight. Recharge and operate the Spotlight
only as described in this Owner’s Manual. The Waterproof Spotlight is submersible up to 3 ft (1 m). If
accidentally dropped in the water, the Spotlight will float and the bulb will face up so it can be found easily.

SPOTLIGHT CHARGING
This Spotlight is shipped in a partially charged state. BEFORE first use, charge the
Spotlight battery using the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter for 10 to 11 hours, or using the 12-volt
DC charging adapter for 22 hours. Failure to follow this procedure may permanently damage the
battery. Do not charge for more than 24 hours.
Charger Features
• The 110/120-volt AC charging adapter allows charging from a household wall outlet (110/120 volts AC).
The 110/120-volt AC charging adapter connects to the charging port at the back of the Spotlight housing.
• The 12-volt DC charging adapter allows charging from a 12-volt DC cigarette lighter/accessory socket.
The 12-volt DC charging adapter connects to the charging port at the back of the Spotlight housing. The
12-volt DC charging adapter contains a 2A fuse within the end of the adapter to prevent damage from
excessive current while charging.

• A charge status LED is located at the back of the Spotlight housing. The Spotlight is charging when the
LED is red. When the Spotlight is fully charged, the LED will be green.
Charging Guidelines and Precautions
• Only use the charging adapters that were provided with this Spotlight. Use of any other chargers or
adapters may void any warranty, cause Spotlight damage, increase risk of fire and/or result in personal
injury.
• Do not submerge the charging adapters in water or any liquid. Keep them dry and free of dirt/dust at all
times.
• Do not overheat or overcharge the battery.
110/120-Volt AC Charging
Never connect the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter to an ungrounded AC power supply.
Never connect the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter to any AC voltage other than
60 Hz - 110/120-volt AC supply.
Never turn the Spotlight on while charging, as this will damage the Spotlight and void any
warranty. Keep the Spotlight ON/OFF switch in the OFF position at all times during charging.
Charging performance may vary depending on local AC voltage.
Once the unit is discharged, future recharging will take 10 to 11 hours using the 110/120-
volt AC charging adapter to reach full charge.
Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours using the 110/120-volt AC charging
adapter.
1. Make sure the Spotlight ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
2. Remove the waterproof cap from the charging port.
3. Connect the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter to the charging port and then plug the 110/120-volt AC
charging adapter into an approved outlet. The charge status LED will be red, indicating the Spotlight is
charging.
If the charge status LED is not red while charging:
• Make sure the power source is live.
• Ensure the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter connections are secure.
4. When the Spotlight is fully charged, the charge status LED will be green.
5. Install the waterproof cap and tighten to make sure the O-ring is properly seated.
12-Volt DC Charging
Be sure the 12-volt DC cigarette lighter/accessory socket and 12-volt DC charging
adapter power plug are clean before connecting the 12-volt DC charging adapter. Corrosion and
poor electrical contact may damage the 12-volt DC charging adapter or Spotlight and result in poor
performance or even fire.
Never turn the Spotlight on while charging, as this will damage the Spotlight and void any
warranty. Keep the Spotlight ON/OFF switch in the OFF position at all times during charging.
Disconnect the 12-volt DC charging adapter from the Spotlight and from the cigarette
lighter/accessory socket before cleaning the adapter. Be sure to allow the adapter to cool before
cleaning.
Once the unit is discharged, future recharging will take 22 hours using the 12-volt DC
charging adapter to reach full charge.
Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours using the 12-volt DC charging adapter.
1. Make sure the Spotlight ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
2. Remove the waterproof cap from the charging port.
3. Connect the 12-volt DC charging adapter to the charging port and then plug the 12-volt DC charging
adapter into a 12-volt DC cigarette lighter/accessory socket, twisting it to make a good connection. The
charge status LED will be red, indicating the Spotlight is charging.
If the charge status LED is not red while charging:
• Ensure that the 12-volt DC charging adapter connections are secure.
• Check the DC adapter fuse in the end of the adapter.
4. When the Spotlight is fully charged, the charge status LED will be green.
5. Install the waterproof cap and tighten to make sure the O-ring is properly seated.
Charging Tips
• Recharge the Spotlight as soon as possible once the Spotlight starts to dim and after each use.
• Disconnect the charging adapter cord and wait 5 minutes before use once charging is complete.
• Never leave the battery discharged or completely discharge the battery, as this will decrease battery life.
Recharge every 2 months in periods of non-use. Frequent charging will improve the performance of the
battery.
• Disconnect the power from the charging adapters and Spotlight when not in use.

Consejos de Carga

OPERACIÓN DE LA LÁMPARA
AVISO
No opere la Lámpara cuando el adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC o adaptador de carga
de 110/120 voltios CA estén conectados a la Lámpara.
• Asegúrese de que la batería de la Lámpara esté completamente cargada. Consulte CARGA DE LA
LÁMPARA en la página 3.
• Antes de operar la Lámpara, desconecte los adaptadores de carga. Desconecte el adaptador de carga
de 110/120 voltios CA de la fuente de energía antes de desconectarlo de la Lámpara. Desconecte el
adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC del enchufe hembra del encendedor de cigarrillos/accesorios antes
de desconectarlo de la Lámpara.
1. Oprima el interruptor de ON/OFF para encender la Lámpara. Cuando encienda primero la Lámpara,
estará en la modalidad de intensidad alta.
2. Oprima de nuevo el interruptor de ON/OFF para cambiar la Lámpara a la modalidad de intensidad baja.
3. Oprima de nuevo el interruptor de ON/OFF para apagar la Lámpara.
CUIDADOS Y MANTENIMIENTO
AVISO
Por causa de la auto descarga inherente, las baterías se deben cargar por lo menos cada
2 meses, especialmente en un medio cálido. Si la batería se deja descargada o si no se carga cada 2
meses, podrá resultar en daños permanentes a la batería.
• Lea NORMAS Y PRECAUCIONES DE CARGA y CONSEJOS DE CARGA en la página 4.
• Cargue la batería de la Lámpara usando un adaptador de carga de 110/120 voltios CA o un adaptador de
carga de 12 voltios CC después de cada uso.
• Durante períodos sin uso, recárguela cada 2 meses.
• Desenchufe la unidad y déjela enfriar antes de limpiarla.
• Cuando limpie la parte exterior de la Lámpara, sólo use un trapo suave humedecido en una solución de
agua y jabón suave.
Reemplazo del Fusible
1. Desconecte el adaptador de carga de 12 voltios CC de la fuente de alimentación de 12 voltios CC y de
la Lámpara.
2. Gire la tapa del porta fusibles en el sentido contra horario para remover la tapa y el fusible.
3. Limpie el enchufe hembra del fusible y los terminales como sea necesario.
4. Reemplace el fusible por uno equivalente de 2A.
5. Instale la tapa y apriétela a mano en el sentido horario.
Reciclado / Descarte
La Lámpara fue diseñada para proporcionarle años de servicio. Sin embargo, cuando la batería interna
llegue al fin de su vida útil de servicio, la Lámpara no sirve para nada. La batería interna no fue diseñada
para ser reemplazada por el usuario.
La Lámpara deberá ser reciclada o desechada seguramente en un centro de reciclado local.
Ejemplos de lugares que aceptan artículos como este son: centros de reciclaje del condado o
municipales, distribuidores de chatarra y minoristas que venden baterías de iones de litio.

SPOTLIGHT OPERATION
Do not operate the Spotlight when the 12-volt DC charging adapter or 110/120-volt AC
charging adapter is connected to the Spotlight.
• Be sure the Spotlight battery is completely charged. See SPOTLIGHT CHARGING on page 3.
• Before operating the Spotlight, disconnect the charging adapters. Disconnect the 110/120-volt AC
charging adapter from the power supply before disconnecting it from the Spotlight. Disconnect the 12-volt
DC charging adapter from the cigarette lighter/accessory socket before disconnecting from the Spotlight.
1. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the Spotlight on. When first turning on Spotlight, it will be on
high intensity mode.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch again to turn the Spotlight to low intensity mode.
3. Press the ON/OFF switch again to turn the Spotlight off.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Due to inherent self-discharge, batteries should be charged at least every 2 months,
especially in a warm environment. If a battery is left in a discharged state or is not recharged every 2
months, permanent battery damage may result.
• Read CHARGING GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONS and CHARGING TIPS on page 4.
• Charge the Spotlight battery using the 110/120-volt AC charging adapter or the 12-volt DC charging
adapter after every use.
• Charge the Spotlight every 2 months during periods of non-use.
• Unplug the unit and allow to cool before attempting to clean.
• Only use a soft cloth moistened with a mild solution of water and detergent on the outer surface of the
Spotlight when cleaning.
Fuse Replacement
1. Disconnect the 12-volt DC charging adapter from the 12-volt DC power supply and Spotlight.
2. Turn fuse holder cap counterclockwise to remove cap and fuse.
3. Clean fuse socket and terminals as required.
4. Replace fuse with equivalent 2A fuse.
5. Install cap and tighten clockwise by hand.
Recycling / Disposal
The Spotlight is designed to provide years of service. However, when the internal battery reaches the end
of its service life, the Spotlight itself is no longer of use. The internal battery is not designed to be user
replaceable.
The Spotlight should be recycled or safely disposed of at a local recycling center. Examples of
places that will accept items like this are: county or municipal recycling drop-off centers, scrap
metal dealers and retailers who sell replacement lithium ion batteries.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long will the Spotlight work after a full charge?
The run time is approximately 3 hours on a full charge.
Are replacement parts available?
No, the LED light bulb(s) and battery are not designed to be interchanged or replaced. There are no
authorized service or parts providers available.
How do you charge the Spotlight?
Choose either the 110/120-volt AC or 12-volt DC charging adapter and plug it into the charging port.
Plug the charging adapter into an approved outlet and the charge status LED will be red, indicating
the Spotlight is charging. When the Spotlight is fully charged, the charge status LED will turn green.
Once charging is complete, disconnect the charging adapter and properly store it for the next use.
Do not allow either the Spotlight or charging adapters to come in contact with water while charging is
occurring.
How long of a time period should the Spotlight be charged?
Follow the instructions in the manual. The typical charging period when using the 110/120-volt AC
charging adapter is between 10 and 11 hours in length. The typical charging period when using the
12-volt DC charging adapter is 21 to 22 hours. Do not charge the Spotlight for more than 24 hours.
In addition, we recommend charging the unit at least every 2 months if it is not used. Periodically
charging the Spotlight will help prevent battery failure.
The red LED light does not come on when the charging adapter is properly plugged into an
approved outlet.
First, try a different outlet. If the red charging light does not come on after switching outlets, it is
recommended to try a different charging adapter. Also, if you are using the 12-volt DC charging
adapter, check the fuse inside the cable plug. Fuse replacement procedures are listed in FUSE
REPLACEMENT on page 5.
Is it possible to continuously operate the Spotlight?
Yes, to continuously operate the Spotlight, press the trigger switch to turn it on.

¿Cómo se carga la Lámpara?
