Temperature can be adjusted up to 338°F (170°C). “MOTOR / SPEED” FUNCTIONS: – These keys are used to adjust the speed of the rollers. Speed 1 is the slowest and speed 6 the fastest. “STOP” – Stops the revolution of the rollers. “COUNTER” – Resets the counter to zero. “REVERSE” – Reverses the revolution of the rollers to correct mis-feeds. TEMPERATURE COLD LOW MID HIGH MOTOR/SPEED STOP “MID” – Ajusta la máquina a 130ºC (266ºF) “HIGH” – Règle l’appareil à 150ºC (302ºF) COUNTER REVERSE Other Important Features: Your Laminator is equipped with an automatic sleep mode. If the machine remains idle for one hour the heat and motor functions will automatically shut down. To reset the machine turn the main power switch to the "OFF" (O) position and then turn back to the "ON" (I) position. If you want to disable this function there is a switch located on the bottom of the machine to turn "OFF" the sleep mode. If you want to change the display temperatures from ºC to ºF there is a switch located on the bottom of the machine. SET-UP – Ces touches permettent d’augmenter ou de diminuer la température de 1°C. La température est réglable jusqu’à 160°C (320ºF). PROGRAMMES DE “MOTOR / SPEED”: – Ces touches servent à régler la vitesse des rouleaux. TEMPERATURE COLD LOW MID HIGH MOTOR/SPEED STOP COUNTER REVERSE Autres fonctions importantes : Votre pelliculeuse est dotée d'un mode sommeil automatique. Si l'appareil reste au repos pendant une heure, les fonctions de chaleur et du moteur s'arrêteront automatiquement. Pour réarmer l'appareil, mettez l'interrupteur principal à la position d'arrêt « OFF » (O), puis remettez-le à la position de marche « ON » (I). Si vous désirez désactiver cette fonction, il y a un interrupteur sous l'appareil pour arrêter le mode sommeil (« OFF »). Si vous désirez changer l'affichage des températures de º C à ºF, il y a un interrupteur sous l'appareil. Select either “LOW”, “MED” or “HIGH” function key. The LCD will indicate the temperature selected the speed will be “6”. “Ready” will not be indicated until the laminator has reached the set temperature. The actual temperature will be indicated in the lower right corner of the LCD until the set temperature is reached and the “READY” comes on. 2. Use the lamination guide included with the machine to select the proper temperature and speed for the materials to be laminated. 3. Place the item to be laminated into the laminating pouch, so the document is against the seal on the pouch and is centered left to right. 4. Insert the pouch with the item sealed-edge first into the paper carrier that is included with each carton of pouches. Position the sealed edge of the pouch against the inside folded edge of the carrier. 5. Insert the carrier and its contents straight into the machine, leading with the folded edge. handle carriers carefully so that they can be reused. 6 The laminated item will automatically exit the rear of the pouch laminator. After the pouch has stopped moving, place the carrier on a flat surface to cool briefly before removing the finished pouch. 7. If the laminated product looks hazy, then the temperature may need to be increased or the speed decreased. If the laminated product looks wavy, then the temperature may need to be decreased or the speed increased. 8. If finished laminating, press the “COLD” key. Temperature “COLD” and Speed “6” will be displayed. Cooling down the machine before turning off the power switch protects and extends the life of the rollers. 9. Turn off the power switch. 10. Unplug the power cord if the machine will not be used for a long period of time. PLASTIFICATION À CHAUD Après avoir mis la plastifieuse en marche, le mode à froid est automatiquement sélectionné. S’affichent à l’écran “Ready” (Prêt), le réglage de température “Cold” (à froid) et le réglage de vitesse “6”. 1. Sélectionner la touche de fonction “LOW”, “MED” ou “HIGH”. L’écran affichera la température sélectionnée, la vitesse sera “6”. “Ready” ne s’affichera pas tant que la plastifieuse n’a pas atteint la température sélectionnée. La température réelle sera indiquée en bas à droite de l’écran jusqu’à ce que la température sélectionnée soit atteinte et que “READY” s’affiche à l’écran. 2. Si le document plastifié vous semble flou, augmentez la température ou réduisez le vitesse. Si le document vous semble ondulé, baissez la température ou augmentez la vitesse. 8. Si vous avez terminé de plastifier, appuyez sur la touche “COLD”. Température “COLD” et vitesse “6” s’affichent. Afin de préserver les rouleaux, laissez refroidir la machine avant de positionner le commutateur sur “OFF” (arrêt). 9. Positionnez le commutateur sur “OFF” (arrêt). 10. Débranchez la machine en cas de non utilisation prolongée. E PLASTIFICACIÓN EN CALIENTE Tras encender la plastificadora, se ajustará automáticamente al modo en frío. En la pantalla LCD se mostrará “Ready”, el ajuste de temperatura “Cold” y el ajuste de velocidad “6”. 1. Seleccione la tecla de función “LOW”, “MED” o “HIGH”. Inserir el carrier y su contenido recto en la máquina, del lado saldado. Mover con cuidado el carrier para que pueda ser reutilizo. 6. El documento plastificado saldrá automáticamente del fondo de la plastificadora. Con la completa salida de la pouch meter el carrier en una superficie llana para enfriarlo brevemente antes de extraer la pouch. 7. Si el producto laminado tiene un aspecto poco transparente, habrá que aumentar la temperatura o reducir la velocidad. Si el producto laminado tiene un aspecto ondulado, será necesario reducir la temperatura o aumentar la velocidad. 8. Al terminar la laminación, pulse la tecla “COLD”. El display mostrará temperatura “COLD” y velocidad “6”. Enfriar la máquina antes de apagarla, protege y alarga la vida de los rodillos. 9. Apagar el interruptor. 10. HOT LAMINATION 5 E F COLD LAMINATION After the laminator has been turned on using the power switch located on the back of the machine, the cold mode is automatically set. “READY” speed “6” should be displayed on the LCD. If the machine has just recently been used for Hot Lamination, then the machine must reach a temperature no hotter than 86º (30°C )before starting Cold Lamination. 1. Select a cold pouch that is slightly larger than the document to be laminated. 2. Run the film, film-side faced up, for about 1/8" - 1/4" (3 – 6 mm) into the laminator, and then press “STOP”, to stop the rollers. 3. Carefully separate the backing release liner from the film and drape the clear film over the top of the laminator. 4. Place the document between the separated film and backing and select speed 1. 5. After the laminated document exits the rear of the laminator, then either cut off the excess pouch edge for a flush – cut appearance or leave the edge as an adhesive border for signage. PLASTIFICATION À FROID Après avoir mis la plastifieuse en marche à l’aide de l’interrupteur situé à l’arrière de l’appareil, le mode à froid est automatiquement sélectionné. S’affichent à l’écran “READY” (Prêt), le réglage de température “COLD” (à froid) et le réglage de vitesse “6”. Si l’appareil vient d’être utilisé pour une plastification à chaud, il faut que sa température ne dépasse pas 30°C avant de pouvoir plastifier à froid. 1. Choisir une pochette à froid GBC qui soit légèrement plus grande que le document à plastifier. 2. Engagez la pochette (côté film sur le dessus) d’environ 3 à 6 mm dans la plastifieuse, puis appuyer sur “STOP”. 3. Séparer soigneusement la feuille protectrice du film et tendre le film transparent au dessus de la plastifieuse. 4. Placer le document entre le film séparé et la feuille protectrice et régler la vitesse à 1. 5. Le document plastifié sort à l’arrière de la plastifieuse. Couper l’excèdent de film pour obtenir un aspect net coupé à ras du document ou laisser le bord dépasser comme une bordure adhésive pour afficher par exemple votre document.
