CHARGING THE CLA7BT

FIRST TIME USE:

BeforeusingyourCLA7BTforthefirsttime,you

needtochargeitsself-containedLI-Ionbattery

for24hours.

RECHARGING:

When you hear 5 rapid beeps through your

hearingaidorrepeatedat20secondintervals

andtheLEDindicatorturnsredyouwillneedto

rechargethebattery.

After the battery is fully charged, the LED

indicatorwillturnoff.Ittakesapproximately1

to1.5hourstofullychargethebattery.Donot

chargeformorethan24hours.

Over extended periods of time, the battery

will gradually wear down and require longer

chargingtimes.Thisisnormal. Themoreyou

talkonthephoneusingyourCLA7BTtheless

standbytimeyourbatteryhas.

NOTE: During charging you cannot use the

Amplified Power Neckloop. The batteries will

have approximately 14 hours of talk time and

200 hours of standby time before needing

recharging. Battery life will depend on actual

usage and amplification levels.

PAIRING YOUR CLA7BT TO

YOUR CELLULAR PHONE.

“Pairing” Creates a link between devices

equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology

and the CLA7BT, and allows the phone to

remembertheNeckloop’s unique ID; youcan

addittoalistofpaireddevicesinthephone.

The CLA7BT should be paired once with the

phonebeforeuse.Ifthepairinginformationor

logisdeletedfromyourphone,theunitmust

be paired again with the phone prior to use.

OnceyourCLA7BTandphonearepaired,your

CLA7BTautomaticallyconnects toyour phone

if the phone supports that protocol.  Some

phones may ask if you want to connect to a

Bluetoothdevice.Youneedtocheckwithyour

phone’smanualonhowBluetoothworkswith

thephone.

5 Thephoneinformationisnowstoredinthe

CLA7BTmemory.

NOTE: Make sure the neckloop and phone you

are using are no more than 10m/33 feet apart,

so they are within operable range.

Iftheneckloopisnotsuccessfullypairedwithin

2 minutes, it will automatically leave pairing

mode.Ifyoustillwantpairing,youwillneedto

repeatthestepslistedabove.

YourCLA7BTcanstorepairinginformationfor

uptoeight(8)differentdeviceswithBluetooth

wireless capability. Devices are stored in a

“Paired Device List” in thememory in a time

sequence.Whenanattempttopairmorethan

eightdevicesismade,theoldestpaireddevice

isremovedfromthememorylist.Anyofthe

eightpaired devicescaninitiate aconnection

totheCLA7BT.

The neckloop will automatically initiate a

connection (once turned on) with the last

devicetowhichitwasconnected.Ifyouwant

to connect the CLA7BT to another device in

the paired device list, you must initiate the

connectionfromthatdevice.Whenanyofthe

eight devices initiates a connection to your

neckloop,thatdevice thenbecomesthe “last

connected”device.

CALLS USING BLUETOOTH

The CLA7BT supports both Hands-Free and

Headset Profiles. Accessing call functions

dependsonwhichprofileyourphonesupports.

You can activate all functions for Hands Free

Profileusingthefollowingtable.

and there is no operation for five (5) minutes,

the blue flashing LED turns off to save battery

El “emparejamiento” crea un enlace entre

dispositivos equipados con tecnología

inalámbricaBluetoothyelCLA7BT,ypermiteal

teléfonorecordarlaIDexclusivadeladaptador;

ustedpodráagregarlaaunalistadedispositivos

emparejados en el teléfono. El CLA7BT debe

emparejarse una vez con el teléfono antes

de suuso.Silainformacióno el registrodel

emparejamiento del teléfono se borra, la

unidad deberá emparejarse nuevamente con

el teléfono antes de su uso. Una vez que se

realiza el emparejamiento entre el CLA7BT

y el teléfono, el CLA7BT automáticamentese

El CLA7BT puede almacenar información de

emparejamiento para un máximo de ocho

(8) dispositivos diferentes con capacidad

inalámbrica Bluetooth. Los dispositivos se

almacenanenmemoriadentrodeun“Listado

de dispositivos emparejados” que sigue una

secuencia cronológica. Cuando se intenta

emparejar más de ocho dispositivos, se

eliminarádelalistadememoriaeldispositivo

emparejado hace más tiempo. Cualquiera de

losochodispositivosemparejadospuedeiniciar

unaconexiónconelCLA7BT.

El adaptador iniciará automáticamente una

conexión(unavezqueestéencendido)conel

Ajuste del volumen de recepción

El volumen de recepción puede ajustarse

duranteunallamada.Uselaperilladecontrol

de volumen ubicada en el costado derecho

de la unidad cuando la está utilizando. La

configuracióndelvolumendelteléfonocelular

u otro dispositivo aumentará o disminuirá

la amplificación de todo el sistema. Si la

amplificación es baja, controle el nivel de

volumen en ambas unidades. Si se produce

distorsión u otro tipo de interferencia,

disminuya el volumen en una o ambas

unidades. Demasiada amplificación puede

generardistorsión.
