If the apparatu s gives off any strange odor or smoke switch it off immediately and
disconnec t the power from the supply cable.
Avoid having the apparatus work on overloa d for a longtime .
Do not force comman d parts (buttons , controls ,etc.

the apparatus has been damaged in any way

INSTALACION Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. La unidad de alimentación e iluminación es un accesorio perfecto para cualquier
sistema de montaje de rack. Instalado sobre 1 HU rack 19”, sus 8 conectores de
salida AC situados en el panel trasero, suministran protección a los equipos
conectados. Este dispositivo combina un varistor de sobrecarga de alta tensión
junto a un supresor de corriente transitoria y filtro de interferencia RFI/EMI. El
filtro ayuda a prevenir el ruido procedente de luces fluorescentes, motores y otras
fuentes similares de polución electrónica y que pueden afectar a dispositivos
tales como videos, TV, etc.
2. Conecte la unidad a una toma de red standard de 230 V AC y toma de tierra.
3. Conecte los aparatos a proteger en las tomas traseras (10).
4. Encienda la unidad con el interruptor (1). El LED se enciende indicando la
conexión.
5. Para una discreta iluminación del rack en escenarios, estudios u otra
localizaciones oscuras, extraiga las lámpara ratráctiles (2) y ajuste con el
control dimmer (4), la intensidad. La lámpara gira y puede ser ajustada en
el ángulo deseado. Las lámparas disponen de bombillas de 7 W. Si encuentra
excesiva la intensidad regule con el mando del dimmer. Son fácilmente
sustituibles sin necesidad de retirar la unidad del rack, simplemente destornillando
la parte superior de cada tubo.
6. El voltímetro digital (5) está calibrado a una tensión nominal de 230 V
desde fábrica y no precisa de ningún ajuste.
7. El voltímetro digital muestra automáticamente la tensión de salida cuando
está conectada la unidad.
8. El amperímetro muestra un rango de corriente ente 0-10 Amperios.
MAXIMA CARGA Esta unidad está diseñada para soportar 10 A de carga
total. Si se excede esta potencia, el fusible interruptor cortará la alimentación.
Si sucede, reduzca la carga desconectando algún aparato y resetee el fusible.

to all back panel outlets. To turn the unit ON or OFF, press the upper or lower

1.Th e series conditioners are the perfect accessories for any rack mount system.
Install in the top slot of a standard 19-inch rack, and the 8 switched AC outlets
on
the rear panel will provid full safety protection to all your rack equipment.e
These conditioner s protect your delicate electronic equipment by combining a
high voltag e varist or surg e and transie nt suppressor with an RFI/E MI inte rference
filter. The filter helps prevent noise from fluorescent lights, motors , and similar
sources ofԀelectronic pollutionԀ from contaminating the AC feed to your senitiv e
video, audio, tr or computer circuit.
2. Connect appliance inlet into a standard grounded 230V outlet with power cord.
3. Plug sensitive electronic equipment into the 8 rear panel outlets (10).
4. Turn outlet power switch (1) to ON position. Lit LED indicates condi tione d
power to the connected equipment.
5. For discreet illuminati on of your rack equipment on stage, in studios, and in
other dark loca tions (mod el a,b,d only), pull the 2 retracta ble rack lights (2)
out and adjust the dimmer contr ol (4) for the la mp brig htness desir ed (se e
app licat ion. The lamps are sup plied with sta ndard 7 W nig ht-lig ht bulb s. If
you find the heat from the bulbs excessive, reduce the setting of the dimme r
control or subst itute lesser watt age bulbs. 㰀ou can easily replace the bulb s
without removing the unit from the rack by unscrewing the cap on the end of
each light tube. (Noteᴀ Be careful not to push the tubes on while the caps are
unscrew ed. )

The digital voltmeter readout (5) (modul a,b,c only) is calibrated to a nominal
230VAC at the factory no adjustments are necess ary.

at 10 amps total load (or 2300W at 230 VAC) . If this maximu m load is exceeded ,

your rack. If this happens, reduce the load by unplugging one or more units
from the power conditioner, and push the circuit breaker to reset it (see fig.2
below).
INSTALLED OPERATION

INSTALACION Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
Las siguientes precauciones de seguridad deben ser observadas durante todas
las fases de funcionamiento, manejo y reparación de esta unidad. Si la unidad se
usa de manera distinta a la especificada en el manual, puede ocasionar daños que
no cubren la garantía.
- Asegúrese de que la toma de red es la marcada para el funcionamiento de la
unidad antes de encender.
- Para prevenir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, utilice el cable suministrado
por el fabricante.
- El cable debe ser conectado a una base con toma de tierra. No invalide esta
protección utilizando un alargador sin la debida protección.
- Para la conexión o desconexión, cojas la clavija, nunca de tirones al cable para
evitar riesgos de descarga o roturas.
- Si la unidad no va a ser usada durante largo tiempo apáguela y desconecte
la unidad de la red.
- Para prevenir fuego, asegúrese de usar las lámparas especificadas en tipo
y potencia. Antes de sustituirlas, apague la unidad y desconectele de la red.
Cuando el aparato necesite limpiarse, utilice un aspirador para aspirar el
polvo acumulado. No use disolventes como benzenos, alcoholes u otros
fluidos volátiles e inflamables para la limpieza de la unidad.
Si el aparato desprende un olor extraño o humo, apáguelo inmediatamente
y desconéctelo de la red.
- Evite que la unidad trabaje con sobrecarga durante un periodo largo de
tiempo.
- No fuerce comandos tales como botones, controles, etc.
