of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re, electric

basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical
appliance, including the following:
Electrical safety and cord handling
• Before turning on the handheld fabric steamer, ensure your electrical voltage and
circuit frequency correspond to those indicated on the rating label of the appliance.
• To provide continued protection against the risk of electric shock, connect the
appliance to a properly installed electrical outlet only. Never force the charger plug
into an outlet.
• Do not use an extension cord or electrical outlet with inadequate current-carrying
capacity.
• To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands. Never
immerse it in water.
• Protect the power cord. Do not kink or damage the power cord. Do not pull or carry
the handheld fabric steamer by the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle, close a
door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away
from heated surfaces.
• If the power supply cord or plug is damaged, do not use the appliance. A damaged
cord or plug must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or appropriately
qualied personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while connected to the power supply.
• Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before
servicing. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

Usage conditions and restrictions
• This handheld fabric steamer is intended for household use only. Do not use it for
anything other than its intended purpose and only use it as described in this manual.
• Only use the handheld fabric steamer with the supplied accessories.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fully t in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Improper installation and use may result in the risk of re, electric shock and/or
injury to persons. We assume no liability for any eventual damages caused by
improper use or faulty handling.
• Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not allow the handheld fabric steamer to be used as a toy.
• Close attention is necessary when this appliance is used near children, pets or
plants.
• Do not use the handheld fabric steamer outdoors.
Safe operation
• Do not use it without water in the water tank.
• Do not insert any objects into the openings. Do not use it with any opening
blocked.
• Never block the steam openings or place the product on a soft surface, where the
steam openings may be blocked. Keep the steam openings free of lint, hair etc.
• Never direct steam towards people, animals, plants or equipment containing
electrical components.
• Store your handheld fabric steamer indoors in a cool, dry area out of children’s
reach.
• The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the appliance.

Getting started
Before rst use
• Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure
your new handheld fabric steamer is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic
wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all
packaging materials are out of their reach.
• Read this manual to familiarize yourself with all the parts and operating principles of
the handheld fabric steamer. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on the
previous pages.
• Unwind the power cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not use the
appliance if the appliance or its cord have been damaged. In case of damage,
contact our after sales support line for advice on examination, repair or return of the
damaged product.
Getting started
Filling the steamer with water
• Never ll the water reservoir when the power cord is plugged in.
• Allow the appliance to cool for at least 5 minutes if it has been used.
WARNING: Never add cold water to hot water. Steam may shoot out of the lling hole and
cause injuries. Always let the appliance cool down before adding water.
• Place the steamer on a at, level surface.
• Fill the water reservoir with the measuring cup enclosed.
• Never ll the water passed the MAX marking on the water reservoir.
• Place back the water reservoir cap and tighten it.

Steaming fabrics and linens
NOTE: The water reservoir must be lled before proceeding with the following steps.
1. Put the plug into an electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate when the
steamer is switched on.
2. The steamer will emit steam after approximately 3 minutes.
3. Direct the steam nozzle towards the materials you want to steam.
4. Keep the ow of steam focused on the material. Using a slight back and forth motion
will further enhance the steaming process.
Steaming garments
1. Place the garment on a clean hanger.
2. Start to steam from the bottom of the garment. The steam will rise along outside and
inside of the fabric, removing wrinkles. Continue to steam slowly from bottom to top of
the garment.
3. Point the steam away from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.
4. Repeat the above steps as necessary until the garment is free of wrinkles.
Steaming tip
• Steaming both sides of the fabric will help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
• Delicate fabrics need to be steamed carefully to avoid damages caused by water
spotting.
• Draperies and curtains can be steamed while still hanging. Precaution should be
taken while using a ladder or a step ladder. Do not use a stool, a chair or revolving
chair.
• To steam towels, handkerchiefs and napkins hang them over a rod.
Removing the mineral build-up
The best way to avoid mineral build-up is using distilled or dematerialized water in your
steamer. It is not advised to use the municipal water because it is high in mineral content.
1. Unplug the steamer and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Empty the remaining water into a sink to minimize the mineral build-up.
3. Reattach the water reservoir cap.
Storage
• Store the steamer and the supplied measuring cup together in one box.
NOTE: The original packing is a convenient storage box for your steamer.
• Store the steamer in a cool and dry location.

Planchado de tejidos y telas
NOTA: El depósito de agua debe llenarse antes de seguir los siguientes pasos.
1. Inserte el enchufe en un tomacorriente. La luz indicadora de funcionamiento se ilumi-
nará al encender la plancha.
2. La plancha comenzará a producir vapor en unos 3 minutos.
3. Dirija la boquilla de vapor hacia los materiales que desee planchar.
4. Mantenga el chorro de vapor dirigido hacia el material. Un ligero movimiento hacia
delante y atrás potenciará el proceso de planchado.
Planchado de ropa
1. Cuelgue la prenda de una percha limpia.
2. Comience a planchar desde la parte inferior de la prenda. El vapor se elevará por el
interior y el exterior del tejido y eliminará las arrugas. Siga planchando lentamente en
sentido ascendente, desde abajo hacia arriba.
3. Oriente el chorro de vapor hacia un lado de modo que no toque la prenda y alísela
con su mano libre.
4. Repita los pasos anteriores como sea necesario hasta que la prenda no tenga más
arrugas.
Consejo de planchado
• Planchar ambos lados del tejido ayudará a deshacerse de arrugas difíciles.
• Debe tenerse cuidado al planchar los tejidos delicados para evitar daños causados
por gotas de agua.
• Las cortinas pueden plancharse en su lugar sin necesidad de descolgarlas. Tenga
cuidado si utiliza una escalera. No utilice una banqueta, silla o taburete.
• Para planchar toallas, pañuelos y servilletas, cuélguelos de una barra.
Eliminación de los minerales acumulados
La mejor manera de evitar la acumulación de minerales es utilizar agua destilada o
desmineralizada en la plancha. No se recomienda utilizar agua corriente porque tiene un
alto contenido mineral.
1. Desenchufe la plancha y espere a que se enfríe completamente.
2. Vacíe el agua que quede en un fregadero o lavabo para minimizar la acumulación de
minerales.
3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del depósito.
