APPLICATION

The MC 930 is a flexible true condenser microphone

with switchable -15 dB attenuation and low-cut filter.

If you appreciate the clear sound and high impulse

fidelity of small-diaphragm condenser microphones,

the MC 930 is the right choice for you.

The MC 930 covers a wide range of application

scenarios in the udio and on age due to its

compact design and the authentic and detailed

sound character, whereby all po-processing options

are also open. Whether for acouic guitar, piano,

hihat, overheads, choir, orchera, voice or solo

inruments of any kind, there is almo no sound

source where the MC 930 is not convincing.

For speech and vocal recordings from a sho diance

as well as for outdoor recordings, we recommend the

WS 101 wind shield.

MC 930 Stereo Set

The MC 930 is also available as a matched ereo pair.

The individual microphones are selected by our expes

on the basis of individual frequency response and

sensitivity for the respective ereo pair.

The ereo set can be used to create professional

ereo recordings in XY or ORTF configuration. The

delivery includes two elaic suspensions incl. micro-

phone clamps and two wind shields - so the ereo

set can be used raight away.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

Connection

� The MC 930 is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector.

You can connect it to any microphone input with

phantom power (11 - 52 V) with a suitable microphone

cable. Activate phantom power for this purpose.

� Caution: Carelessly laid cables are a trip hazard.

People can be injured and the microphone

can be damaged.

Operation

� The MC 930 has an almo frequency-independent

cardioid polar pattern. This means that the

microphone picks up sound primarily from the

front. In order to avoid feedback and noise as much

as possible, you should position the microphone

so that monitor speakers and other sound sources

radiate directly from behind (angle 180°) onto the

microphone. There, the cardioid polar pattern

provides the be possible attenuation.

� Adjuing the pre-attenuation

For higher sound pressure levels, you can use the

right slide switch on the front of the microphone to

switch on a pre-attenuation of 15 dB (imprint -15 dB).

� Adjuing the low-cut filter

If a directional microphone (pressure gradient

receiver) is used for sho-range recordings, a

physically induced increase in the low-frequency

sound components occurs, which is refered to a pro-

ximity eect. In order to compensate this eect, the

MC 930 has a switchable low-cut filter below 250 Hz

on the front (le) with 6 dB per octave.

� The MC 930 is supplied with the MA-CL 21 microphone

clamp for tripods with 3/8" thread. For tripods with

a 5/8" thread, you can unscrew the threaded inse.

� Caution: A tripod with an insecure and can fall

over and damage a microphone mounted

on it. Make sure the tripod ands able.

MAINTENANCE

� Use a so cloth moiened with water to clean the

microphone sha.

� Make sure that no water enters the microphone.

� Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents.

� You can clean the WS 53 wind shield with clear water.

Let it completely dry before you use it again.

ANWENDUNG

Das MC 930 i ein flexibel einsetzbares Echtkonden-

satormikrofon mit schaltbarer -15 dB Dämpfung und

schaltbarem Low Cut. Wer den klaren Ton und die hohe

Impulreue von Kleinmembran-Kondensatormikrofonen

zu schätzen weiß, der i bei unserem MC 930 richtig.

Das MC 930 deckt durch seine kompakte Bauform und

den unveälschten und detaillieen Klangcharakter

verschiedene Anwendungsszenarien im Studio und

auf der Bühne ab, wobei auch alle Möglichkeiten der

Nachbearbeitung oenehen. Ob für Akuikgitarre,

Piano, Hihat, Overheads, Chor, Orcheer, Stimme oder

Soloinrumente aller A, es gibt fa keine Schallquelle,

an welcher das MC 930 nicht überzeugt.

Für Sprach- und Vokalaufnahmen aus kurzer Enernung

sowie für Aufnahmen im Freien empfehlen wir den

Windschutz WS 101.

MC 930 Stereo-Set

Das MC 930 i auch als abgeimmtes Stereopaar

veügbar. Die einzelnen Mikrofone werden dabei von

unseren Expeen auf Basis von individuellem Frequenz-

gang und Empfindlichkeit für das jeweilige Stereopaar

ausgewählt.

Mit dem Stereo-Set lassen sich professionelle Stereo-

aufnahmen in XY- oder ORTF-Konfiguration erellen. Im

Lieferumfang befinden sich zwei elaische Aufhän-

gungen inkl. Mikrofonklammern und zwei Windschütze –

somit i das Stereo-Set direkt einsetzbar.

INSTALLATION UND INBETRIEBNAHME

Anschluss

� Das MC 930 i mit einem 3-poligen XLR-Stecker aus-

geattet. Sie können es an jeden Mikrofoneingang

mit Phantomspeisung (11 - 52 V) mit einem geeigneten

Mikrofonkabel anschließen. Aktivieren Sie hieür die

Phantomspeisung.

� Vorsicht: Unachtsam verlegte Kabel ellen eine

Stolpergefahr dar. Personen können

dadurch verletzt und das Mikrofon

beschädigt werden.

Inbetriebnahme

� Das MC 930 besitzt eine nahezu frequenzunabhängi-

ge Nierencharakteriik. Dadurch nimmt das Mikro-

fon bevorzugt frontal eintreenden Schall auf. Um

Rückkopplungen und Störgeräusche bemöglich zu

vermeiden, sollten Sie das Mikrofon deshalb so

positionieren, dass Monitorboxen und andere

Schallquellen direkt von hinten (Winkel 180°) auf das

Mikrofon rahlen. Do bietet die Nierencharakteriik

die bemögliche Dämpfung.

� Einellen der Vordämpfung

Bei höheren Schalldrücken können Sie mit dem

rechten Schiebeschalter auf der Vorderseite des

Mikrofons eine Vordämpfung von 15 dB zuschalten

(Aufdruck -15 dB).

� Einellen der Tiefenabsenkung

Wird ein Richtmikrofon (Druckgradientenempfänger)

für Aufnahmen aus kurzer Enernung eingesetzt, ent-

eht eine physikalisch bedingte Anhebung

der tierequenten Schallanteile, die als Nahbe-

sprechungseekt bezeichnet wird. Zum Ausgleich

dieses Eektes hat das MC 930 auf der Vorderseite

(links) eine zuschaltbare Tiefenabsenkung unterhalb

von 250 Hz mit 6 dB je Oktave.

� Zum Lieferumfang des MC 930 gehö die Mikrofon-

klammer MA-CL 21 für Stative mit 3/8"-Gewinde. Für

Stative mit 5/8"-Gewinde können Sie den Gewinde-

einsatz herausschrauben.

� Achtung: Ein Stativ mit unsicherem Stand kann

umfallen und ein darauf montiees

Mikrofon beschädigen. Achten Sie auf

einen abilen Stand.

PFLEGE

� Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Mikrofonschaes

ein mit Wasser befeuchtetes, weiches Tuch.

� Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Mikrofon

eindringt.

� Verwenden Sie keine lösemittelhaltigen Reiniger.

� Den Windschutz WS 53 können Sie mit klarem Wasser

reinigen. Vor dem nächen Gebrauch sollte er voll-

ändig trocken sein.

ENTSORGUNG

� Dieses Symbol auf dem Produkt, in der

Bedienungsanleitung oder auf der Verpackung

bedeutet, dass die elektrischen und elektroni-

schen Geräte am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer

gesonde vom Hausmüll entsorgt werden

müssen.

� Benutzte Geräte immer gemäß den geltenden Vor-

schrien entsorgen.

UTILISATION

Le modèleMC930 e un microphone à véritable

condensateur flexible à préatténuation commutable

(-15 dB) et Low-Cut également commutable. Celui qui

apprécie le son clair et la fidélité d’impulsion élevée

des microphones à condensateur à petite membrane

a trouvé le microphone idéal pour lui en choisissant le

modèleM930.

Avec sa forme compacte et ses caractériiques sonores

détaillées et authentiques, le modèle MC930 couvre

les scénarios d’utilisation les plus divers au udio et

sur scène et donne toutes les possibilités en matière

de traitement ultérieur. Que ce soit pour une guitare

acouique, un piano, un charleon, des overheads,

un chœur, un orchere ou des inruments solies de

tous types, il n’y a presque pas de source sonore avec

laquelle le modèleMC930 ne persuade pas.

Nous conseillons d’utiliser la protection contre le

ventWS101 pour les enregirements vocaux et

de chants à coue diance ainsi que pour les

enregirement en plein air.

Kit éréoM930

Le modèle MC930 e disponible sous forme de paire

éréo syntonisée. Les microphones individuels sont

alors choisis par nos expes en raison de leur réponse

en fréquence individuelle et de la sensibilité pour la

paire éréo respective.

Le kit éréo permet de réaliser des enregirements

éréos professionnels avec une configuration XY ou

ORTF. Deux suspensions élaiques y compris des pinces

de microphone et deux protections contre le vent sont

également fournies avec le kit éréo et permettent

ainsi d’utiliser immédiatement le kit éréo.

INSTALLATION ET MISE EN SERVICE

Branchement

� Le modèleMC930e équipé d’une ficheXLR à

3pôles. Vous pouvez le connecter à n’impoe

quelle entrée de microphone avec une alimentation

en fantôme(11 – 52 V) en utilisant un câble

de microphone approprié. Pour cela, activez

l’alimentation en fantôme.

� Prudence : Les câbles mal posés peuvent provoquer

un risque de trébuchement. Des

personnes peuvent alors être blessées et

le microphone peut être endommagé.

Mise en service

� Le modèleMC930se caractérise par une

caractériique hypercardioïde presque

indépendante de la fréquence. Le microphone capte

ainsi, de préférence, le son arrivant par l’avant.

Afin d’éviter le plus possible les rétroactions et les

bruits parasites, vous devriez donc positionner le

microphone de manière à ce que les enceintes

de monitoring et autres sources sonores soient

placées directement à l’arrière (angle de 180°) sur

le microphone. C’e ici que la caractériique

hypercardioïde garantit la meilleure atténuation.

� Réglage de la préatténuation

En cas de pressions acouiques plus élevées,

vous pouvez activer une préatténuation de15dB

(impression -15 dB) avec l’interrupteur à coulisse

de droite situé sur la face avant du microphone.

� Réglage de l’atténuation des graves

Si un microphone directionnel (microphone à gradient

de pression) e utilisé pour des enregirements

à coue diance, il s’ensuit une augmentation

d’origine physique des composants du son à basses

fréquences qualifiée comme eet de proximité. Pour

compenser cet eet, le modèleMC930 dispose d’une

atténuation des graves commutable située sur la

face avant (à gauche) en-dessous de 250Hz avec

6dB par octave.

� MC 930 e livré avec la pince de microphone

MA-CL 21 pour les trépieds à filetage de 3/8". Pour

les trépieds avec un filetage de 5/8", vous pouvez

dévisser l’inse fileté.

� Attention : Un trépied inable peut se renverser

et endommager le microphone qui e

inallé dessus. Veillez à la abilité du

pied.

ENTRETIEN

� Pour nettoyer le manche du microphone, utilisez un

chion doux humidifié d'eau.

� Veillez à ce qu'aucun liquide ne s'infiltre dans

le microphone.

� N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage contenant

des solvants.

� Vous pouvez nettoyer la protection contre le

ventWS53 à l’eau claire. Il doit être complètement

sec avant la prochaine utilisation

USO

El MC 930 es un micrófono de condensador verdadero

de uso flexible con atenuación de -15 dB y Low Cut

conmutables. Si aprecia el tono claro y la alta fidelidad

al impulso de los micrófonos de condensador de

membrana pequeña, nuero MC 930 es una buena

elección.

El MC 930, gracias a su diseño compacto y su carácter

sonoro puro y detallado, tiene muchas aplicaciones

en eudio y en el escenario, y brinda todas las

posibilidades de procesamiento poerior. Ya sea

para guitarra acúica, piano, hihat, overheads, coro,

INSTALACIÓN Y PUESTA EN SERVICIO

Conexión

� El MC 930 dispone de un conector XLR de 3 polos.

Compatible con cualquier entrada de micrófono

con alimentación phantom (11-52 V) utilizando un

cable de micrófono adecuado. Para ello, active la

alimentación phantom.

� Atención: La inalación descuidada de los cables

representa siempre riesgo de tropiezo.

Se puede lesionar alguien y dañarse el

micrófono.

Puea en marcha

� El MC 930 tiene una caracteríica cardioide casi

independiente de la frecuencia. Por ello, ee

micrófono captura preferentemente el sonido frontal.

Para evitar al máximo la retroalimentación y el ruido,

coloque el micrófono de modo que los monitores

y otras fuentes de inteerencia irradien hacia el

micrófono directamente desde atrás (ángulo 180°).

Allí, la caracteríica cardioide ofrece la mejor

amoiguación posible.

� Ajue de preatenuación

Para presiones de sonido más altas, puede utilizar el

interruptor deslizante derecho en la pae frontal del

micrófono para activar una preatenuación de 15 dB

(impresión -15 dB).

� Ajue de la reducción de profundidad

Si se utiliza un micrófono direccional (receptor de

gradiente de presión) para grabaciones a coa

diancia, se produce un aumento físico de las

paes de baja frecuencia, que se denomina efecto

de proximidad. Para compensar ee efecto, el MC

930 tiene una reducción de profundidad conmutable

por debajo de 250 Hz con 6 dB por octava en la pae

delantera (izquierda).

� El MC 930 se suminira con la pinza para micrófono

MA-CL 21 para trípodes con rosca de 3/8". Para

trípodes con rosca de 5/8" puede desenroscar el

inseo roscado.

� Atención: Si el trípode no tiene suficiente

eabilidad, puede caerse y dañar el

micrófono que lleva montado. Procure que

eé en posición eable.

MANTENIMIENTO

� Utilice un paño suave humedecido con agua para

limpiar el cuerpo del micrófono.

� Procure que no penetre agua en el micrófono.

� No utilice nunca limpiadores que contengan

disolventes.

� La protección contra el viento WS 53 se puede limpiar

con agua limpia. Antes del siguiente uso, debe ear

completamente seca.

�. M.930には3極のXLRタイプコネクタが備わっています。これに

よりファンタム電源(11～52.V)に接続したどのマイクインプット

にも、適切なマイク用ケーブルを使用して接続することができ

ます。ファンタム電源をアクティブ化してください。

使用開始

�. MC.930にはほとんど周波数に依存しないカーディオイドとして

除するため、モニターボックスとその他の音源が、マイクロホン

安装与调试

接线

� MC 930 麦克风配有一个 3 针 XLR 插头。您可使用适配的话

启动幻象电源。

� 注意：因铺设线缆疏忽而导致的绊倒危险。将导致人员

调试

� MC 930 的心形方向特性几乎不受频率影响。因此，麦克风会

优先拾取来自前方的声音。为尽量避免回授音和噪音，放置麦

克风时应令监听盒及其他干扰源处于麦克风影响辐射范围后方

侧面（角度 180°）。在此状态下心形方向特性的消音效果最

佳。

� 设置预消音

声压较高时，可通过麦克风正面右侧的开关启用 15 dB（版本

说明 -15 dB）预衰减。

� 设置低频切除

如果使用定向麦克风（压力梯度接收器）进行短距离录音，则

从物理层面分析低频声音所占比例将有所增加，该现象称为邻

近效应。为平衡此现象，借助 MC 930 正面（左侧）的开关

即可实现 250 Hz 时 6 dB/倍频程下的低频切除。
