WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do
not use this fan with any solid state speed control device.
Unpack your Essick cooler and select the area you wish
to cool. Evaporative coolers work best near a partially
opened window to draw in fresh air. An equal amount of
air should be discharged out of the room to dispel heat
and humidity. The cooler can be placed on the floor or on
a table. Pour water into the water trough located in the
lower portion of the back grille. The reservoir holds 3 1/4
gallons of water. The level can be seen through the front
grille. DO NOT OVER FILL. Water will leak out and could
cause water damage to the surrounding area. If the
reservoir runs dry, it will not harm the pump.
When transporting the unit to a different location, be very
careful not to spill the water. It is best to re-locate the
cooler, and then add water. Plug the electrical cord into
a 115-120 volt grounded outlet. You may operate your
cooler on one of three speeds: low, medium or high. Turn
the switch knob clockwise to activate the pump and fan.
This will cool the air. Turn the switch counterclockwise
to operate the cooler as a fan only (pump will be off).
When you operate your cooler without the water circulating,
it functions as a fan to circulate air.
CAUTION: Always unplug the cooler before attempting
service of any kind.

The pump hose may have worked loose. Check the
connection at the pump and at the water tube located in
the back grille assembly. Reconnection of pump hose is
necessary.
2.
The water tube may be blocked. Remove the tube and
clean it out to make sure water holes are clear.
3.
The pump or switch may be defective. Replace pump
or switch, if necessary.

Check the electrical outlet to verify it provides 115-volt
power. Check fuse or breaker to ensure no fuses are
blown or breaker switches thrown.

The fan switch or motor may be defective. Replace
switch or motor, if necessary.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, always unplug the
cooler before attempting service of any kind.
The motor does not require oil or lubrication. It is
permanently lubricated at the factory.
The pump does not require oil or lubrication. Clean any
debris under the pump in the inlet area.
The filter should be replaced each season, if it becomes
dirty or clogged.
Drain and clean the water tank. To drain, disconnect the
clear hose from the black tube in the back grille. Turn unit
on “COOL” and pump out most of the water. Wipe dry
and clean with a towel. Before reattaching the back grille,
reconnect the clear hose to the black water tube.
Use spray paint on the interior of the cabinet to touch up
scratches or dings, if necessary.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only.
It does not cover damages incurred during shipping or
through accident, neglect, or abuse by the owner. Essick
Air Products, Inc. does not authorize any person or
representative to assume any other or different liability
in connection with this cooler.
All original parts provided by Essick Air Products, Inc.
are warranted against defects in material or factory
workmanship for one year.
Essick Air Products, Inc. is not responsible for incidental
or consequential damage resulting from any malfunction.
Essick Air Products, Inc. is not responsible for any damage
occurring from the use of water softeners, chemicals,
materials that de-scale, or if a higher horsepower motor
than what Essick Air Products, Inc. recommends is used
in the unit.
Essick Air Products, Inc. is not responsible for the cost
of service calls to diagnose cause of trouble, or labor
charge to repair and/or replace parts.
Contact the Dealer where you purchased the evaporative
cooler. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the
response from the Dealer, contact the Customer Service

no usa este ventilador con cualquier artefacto de control de

Desembale su enfriadera Essick y selecta el área que usted
desea para refrescar. Enfriaderas trabajan mejor cerca de
una ventana parcialmente abierta para utilizar en el aire fresco.
Una cantidad igual de aire se debe descargar fuera de la
habitación para disipar el calor y la humedad. La enfriadera
puede ser colocada en el piso o en una mesa. Vierta agua
en el abrevadero localizado en a porción más baja de la rejilla
de espalda. El depósito carga 3 1/4 galones de agua. El nivel
se puede ver por la rejilla anterior. NO SOBRE LLENE. El
agua se saldrá fuera y podrá causar daño de agua al área
circundante. Si el depósito corre seca, no dañará la bomba.
Cuándo transportando la unidad a una ubicación diferente,
sea muy cuidadoso no rociar el agua. Es mejor trasladar la
enfriadera, y entonces agregar agua. Conecte la cuerda
eléctrica a una salida de 115-120 voltaje de tierra. Usted
puede operar su enfriadera en una de tres velocidades: bajo,
medio o alto. Gire la perilla de interruptor a la derecha para
activar la bomba y el ventilador. Esto refrescará el aire. Gire
el interruptor a la izquierda para operar la enfriadera sólo
como un ventilador (bomba estará apagada).
Cuando usted opera su enfriadera sin el agua circulando,
funciona como un ventilador para circular aire.
CUIDADO:
Siempre desconecte la enfriadera antes de
procurar cualquier tipo de servicio.

La manga de la bomba puede haberse aflojado.
Verifique la conexión en la bomba y en el tubo de agua
localizado en la asamblea de rejilla de espalda.
Reconneccion de manga de bomba es necesario.
2.
El tubo de agua se puede bloquear. Quite el tubo y
limpielo para asegurar que hoyos
de agua esten claros.
3.
La bomba o el interruptor pueden estar defectuosos.
Reemplace bomba o interruptor, si necesario.
1.
Verifique la salida eléctrica para verificar que entrega
115 voltios de poder. Cheque el fusible o el cachón para
asegurar que ningunos fusibles se soplen o el cachón
cambia tirado.
2.
El interruptor del ventilador o el motor pueden ser
defectuosos. Reemplace interruptor o motor, si es
necesario.

El motor no requiere aceite ni lubricación. Se lubrica
permanentemente en la fábrica.
La bomba no requiere aceite ni lubricación. Limpie cualquier
escombros bajo la bomba en el área de cala.
El filtro se debe reemplazar cada temporada, si llega a
ser sucio o atascado.
Rege el desaguadero del tanque y limpie el tanque de
agua. Para desaguar, desconecte la manga clara del tubo
negro en la rejilla de espalda. Prenda la unidad a
“REFRESCA” y bomba fuera la mayor parte del agua.
Enjugue seque y limpie con una toalla. Antes de reconectar
la rejilla de espalda, conecta de nuevo la manga clara al
tubo negro de agua.
Utilíze pintura de rocío para uso en el interior del gabinete
para retocar los rasguños o sona, si necesario.
Esta garantía es extendida solamente al comprador original.
