Das Artex-Oberteil läßt sich frei nach hinten führen. Posterior begrenzt das Riegelblatt den Weg und verhindert das Herausfallen des Artex-Oberteils. Geöffnete Zentrik (2), die Kondylenkugel ist freigegeben. 4 ZENTRIK SCHLIEßEN Riegelblatt (3) nach unten drücken: Die Kunststoffzunge zentriert die Kondylenkugel in der tiefsten Position der Kondylenbahn. Mit dem Oberteil ist nur eine Rotation möglich. Geschlossene Zentrik (4): Die Kondylenkugel ist über die Kunststoffzunge fixiert. 1 5 BENNETTWINKELEINSTELLUNG Bennett-Stellschraube (5) lösen, Kondyle auf gewünschte Position drehen und über Stellschraube fixieren. Einstellmöglichkeiten des Bennettwinkels 0° bis 20°. Abb.: Bennettwinkel = 0°. EINSTELLEN DER KONDYLENBAHNNEIGUNG (HKN) Kondylen-Stellschraube (6) lösen. Kondyle auf gewünschte Neigung einstellen und mit Stellschraube fixieren. Einstellmöglichkeiten der HKN von -15° bis +60°. Abb.: HKN = +15°. 2 6 ARBITRÄRSTIFT 3 Soll der Gesichtsbogen direkt am Artikulator „arbiträr“, d.h. über die Bohrung an den Ohrkugeln adaptiert werden, so muß das Kondylargehäuse auf 60°, der Bennettwinkel auf 0° eingestellt sein. In dieser Stellung gibt der Arbiträrstift die (mittelwertige) Position der Ohröffnung wieder, an welcher der Gesichtsbogen am Patienten angelegt war. (Adaption am Achsmittelpunkt ist immer zu bevorzugen.) 7 ! WARN- UND SICHERHEITSHINWEISE: _ Anatomische Frontzahnführung Winkel der Protrusionsspur = 40° Winkel bei Lateralbewegung variiert von 30 bis 40°, je nach eingestelltem Bennettwinkel. _ Kontrolle der Zentrikjustage bei Artex CN und CT Wenn das Artikulatorenoberteil ein Lateralspiel hat, ist dieser Seitverschub durch ein „Klick-Geräusch“ hör- und spürbar. In diesem Fall muss die Zentrik nachjustiert werden. Dabei wie folgt vorgehen: _ Bennettwinkel auf 10° einstellen _ Zentrikverriegelung schließen _ Gewindestifte an der Unterseite des Rückenteils mit Inbusschlüssel lösen. _ Frontzahnführungsstift im anatomisch geformten Frontzahnführungsteller in der Nullstellung mittig ausrichten. _ Artikulatorenoberteil in dieser Position festhalten. Dabei die linke Halbachse bis zum Anschlag nach außen ziehen und mit Hilfe des Inbusschlüssels den Gewindestift anziehen. Mit der rechten Halbachse entsprechend verfahren. _ Allgemeine Hinweise Artikulatoren sind Präzisionsinstrumente, deshalb sollten einige Hinweise im Umgang mit Artikulatoren beachtet werden. _ Regelmäßige Kontrolle des Achsen-KugelSystems und der Kondylenbahn auf Verschmutzung erhält die Leichtgängigkeit der Kugel auf der Achse und sichert die Funktionalität des Artikulators. Verschmutzungen in diesem Bereich durch Abdampfen entfernen, anschließend Trockenblasen. _ Artikulator nicht in Ausbrühgerät, Drucktopf oder Ultraschallbad stellen _ Zur Reinigung und Pflege nur Reinigungsmittel verwenden, die für Leichtmetalle geeignet sind. Verwendung der Reinigungsmittel nur nach Herstellerangaben. Reinigungsmittel mit pH <5 und >8 dürfen nicht eingesetzt werden, da diese die Eloxalflächen beschädigen können. Zubehör/Einzelteile: Art.Nr.: 217330 Modellplatten blau, Paar 217331 Modellplatten blau, 50er Pckg. 215250 Retentionsscheiben 4 MANUAL ARTEX® CT OPEN CENTRIC Swivel locking (1) bar upwards with the thumb; the top part of the Artex can be guided backwards freely. The locking bar limits travel in a posterior direction and prevents the top part of the Artex falling out. Centric open (2), condyle ball released. CLOSE CENTRIC Press locking (3) bar down; the plastic tongue centres the condyle ball in the lowest position of the condyle path. Only rotation is possible with the top part. Centric closed (4): the condyle ball is fixed in position by the plastic tongue. SETTING BENNETT ANGLE Open the Bennett setting screw (5), turn condyle to desired position and fix position with the setting screw. Bennett angle can optionally be set from 0° to 20°. Fig.: Bennett angle = 0°. SETTING CONDYLE PATH Open the condyle setting screw (6). Set condyle to desired inclination and fix position with setting screw. HCI can be set from -15° to +60°. Fig.: HCI = +15°. ARBITRARY PIN If the facebow is to be adapted “arbitrarily” directly on the articulator, i.e. via the bore on the ear balls, the condylar box has to be set at 60° and the Bennett angle at 0°. In this position, the arbitrary pin reproduces the (average-value) position of the ear opening at which the facebow was held up to the patient. (Adaptation at the axis mean point is always preferable). ! WARNINGS AND SAFETY ASPECTS: _ Anatomical anterior guidance Angle of protrusion track = 40°; on lateral movements the angle varies between 30 and 40°, according to the predetermined Bennett angle _ How to check the centric adjustment of Artex CN and Artex CT If the upper part of the articulator has lateral play, this deviation to the side can be heard and felt by a "click". Please read the following notes: _ Periodically check if the axis-joint system and the condylar paths are clean in order to maintain the smooth mobility of the condyle in the axis and thus maintain the functionality of the articulator. _ Remove dirt in this area with a steamcleaner, then blow dry. _ Do not place the articulator in a boil-out unit, a pressure pot or an ultrasonic bath. _ For cleaning and care, use only cleaning agents that are suitable for light metals. Regarding the use of the cleaning agent, please follow the instructions of the according manufacturer. Do not use cleaning agents with a pH <5 or >8 since those might damage the anodized surfaces. Accessories/single components: Order No. 217330 Base Plates blue, pair 217331 Base Plates blue, 50/Pkg. 215250 Retention Disk 5 F I MODE D’EMPLOI ARTEX® CT OUVREZ LA CENTRIQUE Faites pivoter (1) la plaque à glissière avec le pouce, vers le haut. La partie supérieure de l'Artex se laisse diriger vers l'arrière. A l'arrière, la plaque à glissière limite le déplacement et empêche la partie supérieure de l'Artex de tomber. La centrique ouverte (2), la boule condylienne est libre. FERMEZ LA CENTRIQUE Appuyez sur (3) la plaque à glissière vers le bas: la languette de plastique centre la boule condylienne dans la position la plus basse de la trajectoire condylienne. Vous ne pouvez faire qu'une rotation avec la partie supérieure. Centrique fermée (4): la boule condylienne est fixée sur la languette en plastique. RÉGLAGE DE L'ANGLE DE BENNETT Dévissez la vis de réglage de Bennett (5), en tournant placez le condyle dans l'angle désiré de Bennett et fixez-le sur la vis de réglage. Possibilité de placer l'angle de Bennett de 0° à 20°. Illustration: Angle de Bennett = 0° RÉGLAGE DE L'INCLINAISON DE LA TRAJECTOIRE CONDYLIENNE (I.T.C.) Dévissez la vis de réglage du condyle (6). En tournant placez le condyle dans l'inclinaison désirée et fixez-le sur la vis de réglage. Possibilité de réglage de 1.T.c. de -15° à +60°. Illustration: 1.T.c. = + 15°. TIGE ARBITRAIRE Si l'arc facial doit être adapté directement sur l'articulateur de façon « arbitraire », c'est-à-dire au-dessus du trou vers les boules auriculaires, alors le logement condylien doit être réglé à 60° et l'angle de Bennett à 0°. Dans cette position, la tige arbitraire donne la position (moyenne) de la capsule auriculaire, sur laquelle l'arc facial du patient était posé. (II vaut mieux choisir une adaptation au centre de l'axe). 6 ! MISES EN GARDE ET CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ: _ Guide antérieur anatomique Angle du trajet de propulsion : 40° Angle du déplacement latéral : Il est compris entre 30 et 40°. Sa valeur exacte dépend de l’angle de Bennett qui a été réglé. _ Contrôle du réglage de la relation centrée sur les Artex CN et CT Si la branche supérieure de l’articulateur a du jeu latéral, ce décalage se remarque au bruit (clic). En pareil cas, il est nécessaire de procéder à un réajustement de la relation cen trée en procédant comme suit : _ Régler l’angle de Bennett sur 10°. _ Fermer le système de blocage en relation cen trée. _ Dévisser avec une clé Allen les tiges filetées situées sous la partie dorsale. _ Positionner la tige incisive au centre du plateau incisif anatomique, en position O. _ Maintenir la branche supérieure de l’articulateur dans cette position puis sortir jusqu’au point de butée l’axe gauche et, avec la clé Allen, serrer la tige filetée. Ensuite, procéder de même pour l’axe droit. _ Indications d’ordre général Un articulateur étant un appareil de précision, il convient de respecter certaines règles quant à son utilisation. Ces règles sont les suivantes : _ Contrôler régulièrement si le système axeboule et le chemin de roulement du condyle ne sont pas encrassés. Cela, afin de garantir une mobilité optimale de la boule sur l’axe et un fonctionnement correct de l’articulateur. _ Eliminer les saletés présentes à cet endroit à la vapeur puis sécher avec la soufflette. _ Ne pas mettre l’articulateur dans une ébouillanteuse, dans un polymérisateur ou un bac à ultrasons. Pour nettoyer l’articulateur, en faire l’entretien, utiliser uniquement des produits nettoyants prévus pour les alliages légers. Bien utiliser ces produits conformément aux instructions du fabricant. Ne pas utiliser de produits nettoyants présentant un pH < 5 ou > 8 car ils abîmeraient les parties anodisées de l’appareil. Accessoires N° d’art. 217330 217331 215250 / pièces détachées : Plaques pour modèle, bleues, 2 plaques Plaques pour modèle, 50/paquet Plaques de rétention ISTRUZIONI D’USO ARTEX® CT SBLOCCARE LA CENTRICA Spostare la (1) linguetta di bloccaggio con il pollice verso l'alto per sbloccare la parte superiore dell'Artex. In questa posizione la linguetta di bloccaggio delimita posteriormente il tragitto del condilo ed impedisce quindi un'uscita accidentale dello stesso. Centrica sbloccata (2), la sfera condiloidea dispone ora di libertà di movimento. BLOCCARE LA CENTRICA Spingere la (3) linguetta di bloccaggio verso il basso: la linguetta in plastica obbliga la sfera condiloidea nella posizione più bassa del tragitto condiloideo, nella posizione di centrica. Ora l'unico movimento consentito alla parte superiore è quello rotatorio. Centrica bloccata (4): La sfera condiloidea è bloccata dalla linguetta di plastica. ! AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA: _ Guida incisale anatomica Angolo del tragitto protrusivo = 40° Con il movimento laterale l’angolo varia da 30 a 40°, a seconda dell’angolo di Bennett impostato. _ Controllo della registrazione della centrica con Artex CN e CT Se la parte superiore dell’articolatore ha un gioco laterale, percepibile da un “clic“, effettuare un’ulteriore registrazione della centrica. Procedere nel modo seguente: _ impostare l’angolo di Bennett su 10° _ chiudere il blocco in centrica _ allentare i perni filettati nella parte inferiore sul retro usando una chiave a brugola _ posizionamento centrale del perno di guida incisale sul piatto anatomico, in posizione zero _ tenere la parte superiore dell’articolatore ferma in questa posizione, tirare verso l’esterno l‘asse sinistro fino all’arresto e stringere il perno filettato con la chiave a brugola. Ripetere il procedimento con l‘asse destro. REGOLAZIONE DELL'ANGOLO DI BENNETT Allentare la rotella di fissaggio Bennett (5), impostare la scatola condiloidea all'angolo di Bennett desiderato e fissare la posizione stringendo la rotella di fissaggio. La gamma dell'angolo di Bennett va da O a 20°. Fig.: Angolo di Bennett = 0°. REGOLAZIONE DELLA PENDENZA DEL TRAGITTO CONDILOIDEO (PTC) Allentare la rotella di fissaggio PTC (6), posizionare la scatola condiloidea nella pendenza desiderata e stringere la rotella di fissaggio. La gamma della pendenza del tragitto condiloideo va da -15° a +60°. Fig.: Pendenza del tragitto condiloideo + 15°. _ Indicazioni generali Articolatori sono strumenti di precisione, quindi, per il loro utilizzo, è necessario seguire alcune indicazioni: _ controllare regolarmente la pulizia del sistema di sfere/assi ed il tragitto condilare per garantire il funzionamento scorrevole della sfera sull’asse nonché la funzionalità dell’articolatore fi rimuovere eventuali contaminazioni con la vaporizzatrice, asciugare con aria; _ non inserire l’articolatore nell’autoclave, nella pentola a pressione oppure nel bagno ad ultrasuoni _ per la pulizia e la cura dell’articolatore utilizzare solo detergenti adatti ai metalli leggeri; per l’impiego dei detergenti seguire le indicazioni del produttore; non usare detergenti con pH <5 e >8 perché potrebbero danneggiare le superfici anodizzate. PERNO ARBITRARIO Se si desidera adattare l'arco facciale direttamente all'articolatore in posizione arbitraria, ovvero in corrispondenza del foro nei pomelli, allora occorre impostare la pendenza a 60° e l'angolo di Bennett a 0°. In questa posizione il perno arbitrario rappresenta (secondo valori medi) la posizione del meato acustico, nella quale è stato applicato l'arco facciale sul paziente. (Rimane tuttavia preferibile l'adattamento al centro dell'asse). Accessori e parti di ricambio: Codice: 217330 Piastre di modello, blu, coppia 217331 Piastre di modello, 50pz 215250 Dischi di ritenzione 7 E E MODO DE EMPLEO ARTEX® CT ABRIR EL CENTRAJE Girar hacia (1) arriba con el pulgar la lámina de bloqueo. La parte superior del Artex se puede llevar libremente hacia atrás. En la posición posterior, la lámina de bloqueo limita el recorrido e impide que se salga la parte superior del Artex. Centraje abierto (2), la esfera condilar queda libre. CERRAR EL CENTRAJE Empujar hacia (3) abajo la lámina de bloqueo: la lengüeta de plástico centra la esfera condilar en la posición más baja de la pista condilar. Con la parte superior sólo puede hacerse una rotación. Centraje cerrado (4): La esfera condilar queda fijada por medio de l a lengüeta de plástico. REGULACIÓN DEL ÁNGULO DE BENNETT Aflojar el tornillo de regulación de Bennett (5), girar el cóndilo a la posición deseada y fijarlo por medio del tornillo de regulación. Posibilidad de regulación del ángulo de Bennett 0° a 20°. Fig: Angulo de Bennet = O°. REGULACIÓN DE LA INCLINACIÓN DE LA GUÍA CONDILAR (HKN) Aflojar el tornillo de regulación de los cóndilos (6), ajustar los cóndilos a la inclinación deseada y fijarlos con el tornillo de regulación. Posibilidad de regulación de la inclinación de la pista condilar de -15° a +60°. Fig: Inclinación de la pista condilar =+15°. ESPIGA ARBITRARIA Si se trata de adaptar el arco facial directamente en el articulador de forma "arbitraria", es decir a través del orificio en las bolas auriculares, entonces es preciso que la caja condilar esté regulada a 60°, y el ángulo de Bennett a O°. En esta posición, la espiga arbitraria indica la posición (valor medio) del orificio auricular en el cual se habia aplicado el arco facial en el paciente. (Debe preferirse siempre la adaptación en el punto central del eje). 8 ! ADVERTENCIAS Y CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD: _ Guía anterior anatómica Ángulo de la huella del movimiento protrusivo = 40° El ángulo varía durante la realización de movimientos laterales entre 30 y 40°, depen diendo del ángulo Bennett ajustado. _ Control del ajuste en relación céntrica con Artex tipo CN y tipo CT En caso de disponer la parte superior del articulador de un juego lateral, este desplazamiento lateral producirá un sonido “clic” palpable y perceptible al oído. En este caso tendrá que reajustarse la céntrica. Proceda para ello como sigue: _ Ajuste el ángulo Bennett a 10°. _ Cierre el cierre en céntrica. _ Destornille los tornillos prisioneros en la parte inferior del lado trasero con una llave hexagonal. _ Centre la espiga de guía anterior en el plato de guía anterior de forma anatómica en posición cero. _ Sujete la parte superior del articulador en esta posición. Extraiga el semieje izquierdo hacia fuera tirando hasta el tope y apriete el tornillo prisionero con ayuda de la llave hexagonal. Proceda con el semieje derecho de manera análoga. _ Indicaciones generales Articuladores son instrumentos de precisión, por este motivo se deberían observar algunas indicaciones en cuanto a su manejo. _ Un control periódico del sistema eje-bola y de la trayectoria condilar en cuanto a ensuci amiento mantendrá la marcha suave de la bola sobre el eje, asegurando de esta manera la funcionalidad del articulador. _ Limpie estas áreas con un chorro de vapor y séquelas a continuación. _ No ponga el articulador ni en un aparato de escaldamiento por agua hirviente ni en una olla a presión ni en un baño ultrasónico. _ Utilice para la limpieza y el entretenimiento sólo productos de limpieza apropiados para metales ligeros. Use los productos de limpieza tan sólo según las indicaciones del fabricante. No deberán emplearse productos de limpieza con un valor pH <5 y >8, puesto que éstos podrían dañar las superficies anodizadas.
