CM-860 Club-Mixer
Lesen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme zur eigenen Sicherheit diese Bedienungsanleitung
sorgfältig durch!
Alle Personen, die mit der Aufstellung, Inbetriebnahme, Bedienung, Wartung und Instandhaltung dieses
Gerätes zu tun haben, müssen
- entsprechend qualifiziert sein
- diese Betriebsanleitung genau beachten.
1. EINFÜHRUNG
Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für einen OMNITRONIC CM-860 Club-Mixer entschieden haben. Wenn Sie
nachfolgende Hinweise beachten, sind wir sicher, dass Sie lange Zeit Freude an Ihrem Kauf haben werden.
Nehmen Sie den OMNITRONIC CM-860 aus der Verpackung.
Bitte überprüfen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme, ob kein offensichtlicher Transportschaden vorliegt.
Sollten Sie Schäden an der Netzleitung oder am Gehäuse entdecken, nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb
und setzen sich bitte mit Ihrem Fachhändler in Verbindung.
1.1 Features

2. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Dieses Gerät hat das Werk in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand verlassen. Um diesen Zustand zu
erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, muss der Anwender unbedingt die Sicherheits-
hinweise und die Warnvermerke beachten, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung enthalten sind.
Unbedingt lesen:
Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, erlischt der
Garantieanspruch. Für daraus resultierende Folgeschäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung.
Das Netzteil immer als letztes einstecken. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Netzschalter auf „OFF“ steht,
wenn Sie das Gerät ans Netz anschließen.
Halten Sie das Gerät von Hitzequellen wie Heizkörpern oder Heizlüftern fern.
Das Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden, nachdem es von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum
gebracht wurde. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann unter Umständen Ihr Gerät zerstören. Lassen
Sie das Gerät solange uneingeschaltet, bis es Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat!
Der Aufbau entspricht der Schutzklasse III. Das Gerät darf niemals ohne einen geeigneten Transformator
betrieben werden.
Gerät bei Nichtbenutzung und vor jeder Reinigung vom Netz trennen.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass Schäden, die durch manuelle Veränderungen an diesem Gerät verursacht werden,
nicht unter den Garantieanspruch fallen.
ACHTUNG: Endstufen immer zuletzt einschalten und zuerst ausschalten!
Kinder und Laien vom Gerät fern halten!
ACHTUNG: Zu hohe Lautstärken können das Gehör schädigen!
Im Geräteinneren befinden sich keine zu wartenden Teile. Eventuelle Servicearbeiten sind ausschließlich
dem autorisierten Fachhandel vorbehalten!
3. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um ein professionelles Audio-Mischpult, mit dem sich Audiosignale
verschiedener Musikquellen mischen lassen. Dieses Produkt ist für den Anschluss an 2 x 15 V, 50/60 Hz
Wechselspannung zugelassen und wurde ausschließlich zur Verwendung in Innenräumen konzipiert.
Das Gerät darf nur mit dem beiliegenden Netzteil betrieben werden. Der Netzadapter ist nach Schutzklasse
2 aufgebaut und das Mischpult entspricht Schutzklasse 3.
Vermeiden Sie Erschütterungen und jegliche Gewaltanwendung bei der Installierung oder Inbetriebnahme
des Gerätes.
Achten Sie bei der Wahl des Installationsortes darauf, dass das Gerät nicht zu großer Hitze, Feuchtigkeit
und Staub ausgesetzt wird. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Kabel frei herumliegen. Sie gefährden Ihre
eigene und die Sicherheit Dritter!
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in extrem heißen (über 35° C) oder extrem kalten (unter 5° C) Umgebungen.
Halten Sie das Gerät von direkter Sonneneinstrahlung (auch beim Transport in geschlossenen Wägen) und
Heizkörpern fern.
Nehmen Sie das Gerät erst in Betrieb, nachdem Sie sich mit seinen Funktionen vertraut gemacht haben.
Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht von Personen bedienen, die sich nicht mit dem Gerät auskennen. Wenn Geräte
nicht mehr korrekt funktionieren, ist das meist das Ergebnis von unsachgemäßer Bedienung!
Verwenden Sie niemals Reinigungsspray, um die Fader zu reinigen.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals mit Lösungsmitteln oder scharfen Reinigungsmitteln, sondern verwenden
Sie ein weiches und angefeuchtetes Tuch.
Soll das Gerät transportiert werden, verwenden Sie bitte die Originalverpackung, um Transportschäden zu
vermeiden.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass eigenmächtige Veränderungen an dem Gerät aus Sicherheitsgründen verboten
sind.
Der Serienbarcode darf niemals vom Gerät entfernt werden, da ansonsten der Garantieanspruch erlischt.
Wird das Gerät anders verwendet als in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben, kann dies zu Schäden am
Produkt führen und der Garantieanspruch erlischt. Außerdem ist jede andere Verwendung mit Gefahren, wie
z. B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischem Schlag, etc. verbunden.
4. ANSCHLÜSSE
• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einer ebenen Fläche auf.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Netzschalter auf OFF steht. Bevor die Verbindungen hergestellt werden
müssen alle Gerät ausgeschaltet sein.
• Um höchste Klangqualität zu erhalten verwenden Sie zum Anschluss Ihres Equipments bitte nur
hochwertige Leitungen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Leitungen sicher befestigt sind.

• An das CM-860 lassen sich bis zu 3 Endstufen anschließen. Das Ausgangssignal des Master 1-Signals
lässt sich über den Master 1-Fader und den Balance-Regler einstellen. Das Ausgangssignal des Master 2-
Signals lässt sich über den Master 2-Regler einstellen. Das Ausgangssignal des Booth-Signals lässt sich
über den Booth-Regler einstellen.
• Der Master 1-Ausgang lässt sich entweder über zwei Cinch-Buchsen oder über die symmetrischen XLR-
Einbaustecker anschließen. Aufgrund der niedrigeren Störanfälligkeit empfehlen wir den Anschluss über die
XLR-Einbaustecker.

• Der Master 2-Ausgang lässt sich über zwei Cinch-Buchsen anschließen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Buchsen richtig belegt sind (L & R).
• Über die BOOTH-Buchsen können Sie entweder Aktiv-Monitorboxen für Ihre DJ-Kabine (Booth) oder eine
zusätzliche Endstufe zur Einrichtung einer weiteren Zone anschließen.
• Wenn Sie eine Aufnahme machen möchten, schließen Sie Ihr Cassettendeck oder Ihr Tonbandgerät bitte
an die REC OUT-Buchsen an. Der REC OUT-Pegel wird vom Masterfader nicht beeinflusst. Das
Ausgangssignal lässt sich über die Kanalfader, die Klangregler und den GAIN-Regler einstellen.

• Das CM-860 verfügt über einen separat regelbaren DJ-Mic Kanal (DJ MIC). Das DJ MIC Mikrofon lässt
sich über die XLR/Klinke-Einbaubuchse auf der Frontplatte anschließen. An diese Buchse lassen sich
sowohl Klinken- als auch XLR-Stecker anschließen. Mit dem TALKOVER-Wahlschalter können Sie den
Gesamtpegel der anderen Signalquellen reduzieren ohne den Mikrofonpegel zu verstellen.

• Außerdem verfügt das CM-860 über eine MIC 1-Klinkenbuchse an der Geräterückseite. Der Mikrofonpegel
(MIC 1) lässt sich über Kanalfader 1 einstellen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der LINE 1/MIC 1-Schalter auf
MIC 1 steht.
• An das CM-860 lassen sich bis zu 3 Plattenspieler über die PHONO 1-Buchsen, PHONO 2-Buchsen und
PHONO 3-Buchsen anschließen. Das Plattenspielersignal lässt sich nur dann steuern, wenn die PHONO /
LINE-Schalter auf PHONO gestellt wurde. Der Pegel wird kanalweise über die Fader CH-2, CH-3 und CH-4
gesteuert.
• Tuner, Cassettendecks, Tonbandgeräte, Videogerät, CD-Player und alle anderen Arten von line/aux
Eingängen können über die LINE-Eingänge auf der Geräterückseite an dieses Mischpult angeschlossen
werden. Die PHONO/LINE-Schalter müssen auf LINE gestellt werden, damit sich die Linesignale steuern
lassen. Der Pegel wird kanalweise gesteuert.
• Soundeffektgeräte lassen sich an die EFFECTS-Buchsen anschließen. Dadurch lassen sich zusätzliche
Soundeffekte einspielen.
• Stecken Sie die Anschlussleitung des Netzteils in die AC IN-Buchse ein. Stecken Sie das Netzteil in die
Steckdose ein.

(7) CROSSFADE-TASTE
Über die Crossfade-Taste können Sie bestimmen, dass dieser Kanal auf den Crossfader gelegt wird.
(8) ASSIGN TO-TASTE
Über die Assign To-Taste können Sie wählen, auf welche Seite des Crossfaders der mit der Crossfade-
Taste ausgewählte Kanal gelegt wird.
(9) EFFECT-SEND-TASTE
Mit den Effect-Send-Tasten bestimmen Sie, welcher Kanal an die Effect Send-Buchsen ausgegeben
wird.

(10) CUE-TASTE
Mit den CUE-Tasten bestimmen Sie, welcher Kanal vorgehört wird.
(11) KANALFADER
Zum Einpegeln des jeweiligen Kanals.
(12) CROSSFADER REVERSE-SCHALTER
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie die Crossfader-Kanäle umkehren. In ungedrückter Schalterstellung liegt
auf der linken Crossfader-Seite Kanal 1, in der gedrückter Position liegt auf der linken Crossfader-Seite
Kanal 2.
(13) CROSSFADER CURVE-TASTE
Mit der Crossfader Curve-Taste können Sie den Regelcharakter des Crossfaders einstellen. Im Soft-
Modus (Taste ungedrückt) regelt der Crossfader den gesamten Faderweg gleichmäßig. Im Sharp-Modus
(Taste gedrückt) wird die Lautstärkeregelung auf die äußeren Bereiche des Faderwegs begrenzt.
Schalter nicht bei anliegendem Signal verwenden, da Lautstärkeunterschiede hörbar werden können.
(14) CROSSFADER-START-SCHALTER
Mit diesem Schalter können Sie den Crossfader zu- bzw. abschalten.
(15) CROSSFADER
Mit dem Crossfader wird ein Kanal mit dem anderen gemischt. Befindet sich der Crossfader in der
Mittelstellung, werden beide Kanäle mit gleicher Lautstärke gehört.
(16) DJ MIC-BUCHSE
An die DJ Mic-Buchse lassen sich Mikrofone mit XLR-Stecker oder Klinkenstecker anschließen.
(17) TALKOVER-TASTE
Drücken Sie diese Taste, wenn Sie eine Durchsage machen möchten. Wenn Sie die Talkover-Taste
drücken, werden alle Audiosignale außer dem Mikrofonpegel um 15 dB gesenkt. In der OFF-Position
kehren alle Audiosignale zu ihrem Ausgangspegel zurück.
(18) DJ MIC ON AIR-TASTE
Mit dieser Taste können Sie die automatische Talkover-Funktion aktivieren. Sobald Sie in das Mikrofon
sprechen, werden alle Audiosignale außer dem Mikrofonpegel um 15 dB gesenkt.
(19) DJ REC OUT
Zum Anschluss Ihres Aufnahmegerätes. Der REC OUT-Pegel wird vom Masterfader nicht beeinflusst.
(20) MASTER LEVEL DISPLAY
Auf der Anzeige erscheint die Signalstärke des Master-Ausgangssignals der linken bzw. rechten Seite.
(21) LED CHAIN VIEW-TASTE
Mit dieser Taste können Sie das Display von Master 1 auf Master 2 umschalten.
(22) STEREO/MONO-SCHALTER
Mit dem MONO/STEREO-Schalter können Sie den Signalausgang auf mono bzw. stereo stellen. Wenn
Sie z. B. Tonquellen mit Monoausgang über nur einen Cinch-Stecker an das CM-860 angeschlossen
haben, schalten Sie den Signalausgang auf mono, so dass das Ausgangssignal an beiden Ausgängen
anliegt.
(23) EFFECT-SEND-TASTE
Mit den Effect-Send-Tasten bestimmen Sie, welcher Kanal an die Effect Send-Buchsen ausgegeben
wird.
(24) MASTER-FADER
Mit diesem Fader stellen Sie die Signalstärke des Master 1-Ausgangssignals ein.
(25) NETZSCHALTER
Drücken Sie den Netzschalter, um das Gerät einzuschalten.
(26) MASTER 2-REGLER
Mit diesem Regler stellen Sie die Signalstärke des Master 2-Ausgangssignals ein.
(27) RETURN-REGLER
Mit dem Return-Regler können Sie den Eingangspegel der Effect Return-Buchsen einstellen.
(28) SEND-REGLER
Mit dem Send-Regler können Sie den Ausgabepegel an die Effect Return-Buchsen einstellen.
(29) EFFECT CUE-TASTE
Mit der Effect Cue-Taste können Sie den Effekt-Kanal vorhören.

Mit dem BASS- Regler können Sie die Bässe des Mikrofonsignals verstärken bzw. zurücknehmen.

Mit dem CUE LEVEL-Regler können Sie die Kopfhörerlautstärke einstellen, ohne das gemischte Signal
zu verändern.

(35) HEADPHONES-BUCHSE
An diese Buchse wird der Kopfhörer angeschlossen. Sie können Kopfhörer von 8 bis 600 Ohm
verwenden.
(36) CUE SPLIT/CUE MIX-TASTE
Bei der Cue Split Funktion (Taste gedrückt) liegt auf einer Seite des Kopfhörers das Cue-Signal und auf
der anderen Seite das Ausgangssignal an.
Bei der Cue Mix Funktion (Taste ungedrückt) liegt auf beiden Kopfhörermuscheln der einstellbare Mix
aus Cue und Ausgangssignal an.
(37) CUE MIXING-FADER
Schließen Sie Ihren Kopfhörer zum Vorhören an die HEADPHONES-Buchse an. Wählen Sie mit den
CUE-Tasten den gewünschten Vorhörkanal aus.
Wenn Sie den CUE MIXING-Fader auf PGM stellen (CUE-Tasten ohne Funktion) können Sie das
Ausgangssignal des Mixers vorhören. Dabei ist es nicht nötig, die Einstellung am MASTER-Fader zu
verändern. Befindet sich der CUE MIXING-Fader in der Mittelstellung, hören Sie sowohl das angewählte
CUE-Signal als auch das Ausgangssignal.

6. BEDIENUNG
Schalten Sie das Gerät über den Netzschalter ein.
Sobald Audio-Signale anliegen, wird der Signalpegel der Audio-Quelle auf dem Display angezeigt. Der
Eingangssignalpegel lässt sich über den jeweiligen Gain-Regler einstellen.
7. PROBLEMBEHEBUNG

signal über den Gain-Regler.
8. AUSTAUSCHEN DES CROSSFADERS
Wenn Sie einen kompletten Ersatz-Crossfader gekauft haben, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
• Ziehen Sie den Faderknopf ab.
• Entfernen Sie die 2 äußeren Schrauben an der Faderplatte.
• Heben Sie den Crossfader mit Faderplatte heraus und ziehen Sie den Anschlussstecker ab.
• Schließen Sie den neuen Crossfader an und befestigen Sie ihn mit den Schrauben am Gerät.
Bei der Design-Version kann die Faderplatte des Ersatz-Crossfaders nicht verwendet werden. Um die
Faderplatte auszutauschen, lösen Sie außerdem die zwei inneren Schrauben und tauschen die Platten aus.

9. REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
Vor Wartungsarbeiten unbedingt allpolig vom Netz trennen!
LEBENSGEFAHR!
Das Gerät sollte regelmäßig von Verunreinigungen wie Staub usw. gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie zur
Reinigung ein fusselfreies, angefeuchtetes Tuch. Auf keinen Fall Alkohol oder irgendwelche Lösungsmittel
zur Reinigung verwenden!
Im Geräteinneren befinden sich keine zu wartenden Teile. Wartungs- und Servicearbeiten sind ausschließ-
lich dem autorisierten Fachhandel vorbehalten!

1. INTRODUCTION

Unpack your OMNITRONIC CM-860.
Please make sure that there are no obvious transport damages. Should you notice any damages on the A/C

ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning

Always plug in the power unit least. Make sure that the power-switch is set to OFF position before you
connect the device to the mains.
Keep away from heaters and other heating sources!
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it
on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off
until it has reached room temperature.
This device falls under protection-class III. The device always has to be operated with an appropriate
transformer.
Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it.

3. OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
This device is a professional audio-mixer for mixing audio-signals from different music-sources with one
another. This product is allowed to be operated with an alternating current of 2 x 15 V, 50/60 Hz and was
designed for indoor use only.
The device must only be operated with the included power unit. The power unit falls under protection-class 2
and the mixer under protection-class 3.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
When choosing the installation-spot, please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat,
moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and the safety of
others!
Do not operate the device in extremely hot (more than 30° C) or extremely cold (less than 5° C)

4. CONNECTIONS
• Install the device on a plane surface.
• Make sure that the power switch is set to OFF. Before you connect the devices, all units have to be
switched off.
• In order to obtain highest sound quality, only use high-quality cables for connecting the devices. Make sure
that the cables are properly fixed.
• You can connect up to 3 amplifiers to the CM-860. The output signal of the Master 1-signal can be adjusted
via the Master 1-fader and the balance-control. The output signal of the Master 2-signal can be adjusted via
the Master 2-control. The output-signal of the Booth-signal can be adjusted via the Booth-control.
• The Master 1-output can either be connected via the RCA-sockets or the balanced XLR mounting-plugs.
Due to the lower interference problems, we recommend to use the XLR mounting-plugs.

• The Master 2-output can be connected via the RCA-sockets. Make sure that the sockets are set properly (L
& R).
• Via the BOOTH sockets, you can either connect monitor active speakers for the DJ-booth or an additional
amplifier for creating a second zone.
• For recording, connect your tape recorder or cassette deck to the REC OUT-sockets. The REC OUT level
will not be influenced by the master fader. You can set the output level with the channel faders, the tone
controls and the GAIN control.
• The CM-860 features one separately controllable microphone channel (DJ MIC). This microphone can be
connected via the XLR/1/4“ jack-mounting socket on the frontpanel accepting ¼" jack plugs and XLR-plugs.
With the Talkover-button, you can attenuate the level of all other signal-sources without affecting the
microphone volume.

Occupation balanced stereo-1/4“ jack-plug:
• Additionally, the CM-860 features one more ¼" Mic 1 jack plug on the rearpanel. You can adjust the
microphone volume using the CH-1 fader. Make sure that the LINE 1/MIC 1-switch is set to MIC 1.
• You can connect up to 3 record players using the PHONO 1 sockets, PHONO 2 sockets and PHONO 3
sockets on the rearpanel. You can only control the record player signal after you switched the PHONO /
LINE switches to PHONO. The signal is then controlled via the CH-2, CH-3 and CH-4 faders.
• Connect your tape recorder, tuner, CD-player, cassette deck or all other line signals to the LINE /AUX
sockets on the rearpanel. You can only control the line signals after you switched the PHONO/LINE switches
to line. The signal is then controlled via the respective faders.
• Sound-effectors are to be connected with the EFFECTS-sockets. In this way, you can include additional
sound-effects.
• Connect the connection cable of the power-unit with the AC IN-socket. Plug the power unit into your outlet.

(12) CROSSFADER REVERSE-SWITCH
With this function, you can invert the Crossfader-channels. In the loose position, channel 1 is on the left
Crossfader-side, in the pressed position, "2-1" channel 1 is on the right Crossfader-side.
(13) CURVE ON/OFF-BUTTON
With the Curve On/Off-button, you can between the Crossfader-modes Soft and Sharp. In the Soft-
mode, the Crossfader fades between the channels in a linear, continuous manner. In the Sharp-mode,
the Crossfader works more logarhytmical, i.e. working faster towards the outer edges.
(14) CROSSFADER-START-BUTTON
Press this button to activate the crossfader.
(15) CROSSFADER
Mixes the signals of one channel with another. If the crossfader is in the center-position, both channels
can be heard at the same volume.
(16) DJ MIC-SOCKET
You can connect microphones with XLR-plug or jack.
(17) TALKOVER-BUTTON
Press this button if you want to use your microphone. When the button is pressed, all signals but the
microphone level are attenuated by 15 dB. In the OFF-position, all signals return to their original level.
(18) DJ MIC ON AIR-BUTTON
Press this button in order to activate the automatic Talkover-function. As soon as you speak into the
microphone, all signals but the microphone level are attenuated by 15 dB.
(19) DJ REC OUT
To connect your recording unit.
(20) MASTER LEVEL DISPLAY
The display shows the level of the left and right master output.
(21) LED CHAIN VIEW-BUTTON
With this button, you can switch the display from Master 1 to Master 2.
(22) STEREO/MONO SWITCH
Used to set the master output to mono or stereo. If you connected a mono-signal via 1 RCA-socket, you
can switch the output signal to STEREO in order to have a stereo output signal.
(23) EFFECT-SEND-BUTTON
With the Effect-Send-button you can send the Master channel to the Effect Send-sockets.
(24) MASTERFADER
Adjusts the level of the master 1 output.
(25) POWER SWITCH
Press this button to start operation.
(26) MASTER 2 CONTROL
Adjusts the level of the master 2 output.
(27) RETURN CONTROL
Used to adjust how much of the signal is returned from the effector.
(28) SEND CONTROL
Used to adjust how much of the signal is sent to the effector.

Use the Effect-Cue-button in order to monitor the effector.

With the Cue Level-control, you can adjust the phones volume without changing the output signal.
(35) HEADPHONES SOCKET
Use this socket to connect the headphones. Headphones from 8 Ohms to 600 Ohms can be used.
(36) CUE SPLIT/CUE MIX BUTTON
Cue Split-function (button pressed): the Cue-signal is on the one side of the headphones and the output-
signal on the other side.
Cue Mix-function (button released): the adjustable mix of Cue-signal and output-signal is on both sides
of the headphones.
(37) CUE MIXING FADER
Connect your headphones to the HEADPHONES socket. With the CUE-buttons, you can select the
desired channel.

When you set the CUE MIXING-fader to PGM (CUE-buttons without function), you can cue the output
signal of the mixer.
When you set the CUE MIXING-fader to to the center position, you can cue both the channel-signal you
selected and the output-signal.

6. OPERATION
Switch the device on via the power switch.
As soon as the Audio-signals are present the signal level is displayed. You can adjust the level of the input
signals via the Gain-control.

7. PROBLEM CART

No sound. • The PHONO/LINE-switch of the respective

8. REPLACING THE CROSSFADER
Instructions for replacing the crossfader:
• Remove the fader knob.
• Remove the two outer screws on the fader-panel.
• Take the fader out and unplug the connection-cable.
• Connect the new fader and fix it in the device.
The fader-panel of the replacement-crossfader cannot be used for the Design-version. In order to exchange
the fader-panels, additionally unscrew the 2 inner screws and exchange the two fader-panels.
9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect from mains before starting maintenance operation!

4. CONNEXIONS
•
Installez l'appareil sur une surface plane.

Assurez-vous que l'interrupteur "ON-OFF" de l'appareil est en position "OFF". Avant d'effectuer le

Pour réussir à une haute qualité de son branchez votre equipement qu'avec des câbles de haute valeur.
Assurez-vous que les câbles sont bien fixés.

Vous pouvez connecter jusqu'à 3 amplificateurs au CM-860.
•
Vous pouvez raccorder la sortie Master 1 aux douilles cinch ou aux fiches XLR encastrables.

Entreprenez le raccord de votre amplificateur avec les douilles MASTER 2. Faites attention que les
canaux sont assurés correctement (L = gauche; R = droite).
•
Utilisez les douilles BOOTH pour raccorder des haut-parleurs actives pour la cabine du DJ (booth), un
amplificateur supplémentaire ou une seconde zone.
•
Si vous désirez effectuer un enregistrement, connectez votre platine à cassette ou votre magnétophone
aux douilles REC OUT. Le fader MASTER n'influence pas les niveaux REC OUT. Vous pouvez contrôler
le niveau REC OUT avec les faders CHANNEL, les régulateurs du son et le régulateur GAIN.
•
Le CM-860 dispose d’un canal de micro réglable (MIC 1). Vous pouvez connecter votre microphone à la
douille XLR/jack au face avant. Cette douille accepte des microphones avec jack 6,3 mm ou jack XLR.
Avec la touche TALKOVER, vous pouvez réduire les niveaux entrées sauf le niveau MIC 1 de moins de
15 dB.

Additionellement, le CM-860 dispose d'une douille MIC 1 au dos de l'appareil acceptant seulement des
Jacks 6,3 mm. Vous pouvez contrôler le niveau du microphone MIC 1 avec le fader CH-1. Assurez-vous
que le sélecteur LINE 1/MIC 1 est mis à position MIC 1.
•
Vous pouvez connecter jusqu'à trois platines disques à la douille PHONO 1 et PHONO 2 et PHONO 3 se
trouvent au dos de l'appareil. Le signal de la platine disque ne se laisse que contrôler si le sélecteur
PHONO / LINE est mis à PHONO. Le niveau est contrôlé par canal sur les faders CH-2, CH-3 et CH-4.
•
Connectez les syntonisateurs, les platines à cassette, les vidéos, les lecteurs de disque audionumérique
et toute autre sorte de signal LINE à la table de mixage sur les entrées LINE au dos de l'appareil. Le
sélecteur PHONO/LINE doivent être mis à LINE pour que les signaux LINE se laissent contrôler. Le
niveau est contrôlé par canal sur les faders respectifs.
•
Connectez votre appareil d'effet son avec les douilles EFFECTS SEND/RECEIVE au dos de l’appareil.
•
Connectez le cable de connexion avec la douille AC IN. Branchez le bloc d'alimentation.

(12) SELECTEUR CROSSFADER REVERSE
Avec cette fonction, vous pouvez reverser les canaux du Crossfader. Dans la position libre, le canal 1
est à la gauche du Crossfader, dans la position enfoncée, le canal 2 est à la gauche du Crossfader.
(13) BOUTON CROSSFADER CURVE
Avec ce bouton vous pouvez déterminer la caractéristique du crossfader. Le mode Soft vous permet de
modifier la répartition du volume sur toute la longueur de la course du fader. Le mode Sharp limite
modifier la répartition du volume sur les parties d'extremités de la course du fader. N'utilisisez pas cette
commande quand un signal est présent parce que des différences de niveau peuvent apparaître.
(14) BOUTON CROSSFADER-START
Avec ce bouton vous pouvez commuter la fonction du crossfader.
(15) CROSSFADER
Pour mixer un canal avec l’autre.
Lorsque le crossfader se trouve au milieu, vous entendrez les deux canaux avec le même niveau.
(16) DOUILLE MIC 1
Vous pouvez connecter des microphones avec fiche XLR.
(17) BOUTON TALKOVER
Pressez ce bouton pour faire un message publicitaire: Tous les signaux audio vont être accentués de
15 dB à part le niveau du micro. En position OFF tous les signaux audio reviennent à leur niveaux
d'origine.
(18) BOUTON DJ-MIC ON AIR
Pressez ce bouton pour activer la fonction Talkover automatique: quand vous parlez au microphone,
tous les signaux audio vont être accentués de 15 dB à part le niveau du micro.
(19) DJ REC OUT
Connectez votre appareil d'enregistrement ici. Le niveau de REC OUT n'est pas contrôlé avec le fader
MASTER
.
(20) AFFICHAGE MASTER LEVEL
L’affichage indique le niveau de la douille master à la gauche et à la droite.
(21) BOUTON LED CHAIN VIEW
Avec ce bouton, vous pouvez commuter l'affichage de Master 1 à Master 2.
(22) COMMUTATEUR STEREO/MONO
Pour commuter le signal MASTER à MONO ou STEREO. Quand vous avez connecté un signal mono à
une douille d'entrée, vous pouvez commuter cet commuteur à stéréo pour avoir un signal de sortie
stéréo.

Avec le bouton Effect-Send, vous pouvez choisir le canal master sur les douilles Effect Send.

Fonction Cue Split (position enfoncée): le signal Cue est sur l'une côté du casque d'écoute et du signal
master sur l'autre.

Fonction Cue Mix (position libre): le mix réglable du signal Cue et master sont sur les deux côtés du
casque d'écoute.
(37) CUE MIXING FADER
Branchez le casque d'écoute pour préécouter à la douille HEADPHONES. Choisissez le canal désiré à
l'aide des boutons CUE.
Si vous mettez le CUE MIXING fader à PGM, vous pouvez préécouter le signal de sortie de la table de
mixage. Il n'est pas nécessaire de modifier le réglage au fader master. Si le CUE MIXING fader se
trouve à la position au milieu, vous écoutez le signal CUE choisi et également le signal de sortie.

6. MANIEMENT
Avec l'interrupteur POWER, vous pouvez mettre l'appareil sous/hors ténsion.
Quand le mixer reçoit des signaux audio, le niveau du signal est affiché sur l'affichage. Vous pouvez ajuster
le niveau du signal d'entrée grâce au régulateur Gain réspectif.
7. PROBLEMES
PROBLEME: CAUSE: SOLUTION:

Parasites. • Le niveau d'entrée est trop élevé. • Ajuster le signal d'entrée grâce au
régulateur Gain.
8. REMPLACEMENT DU CROSSFADER
Procédez de la manière suivante:
• Retirez la tête du fader.
• Retirez les deux vis extérieurs à la plaque du fader.
• Retirez maintenant le crossfader et débranchez.
• Connectez le crossfader de rechange et fixez-le à la table de mixage.
La plaque du crossfader de remplacement ne peut être utilisée pour l'édition de dessin. Pour remplaçer la
plaque du fader, retirez les deux vis intérieurs et échanchez les plaques.
9. NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE
Toujours débrancher avant de proceder à l'entretien!

L'appareil doit être nettoyée régulièrement. Utilisez un torchon non pelucheux humide. Ne pas utiliser de
l’alcool ou des détergents pour le nettoyage!
L'intérieur de l'appareil ne contient pas de partys nécéssitant un entretien. L'entretien et les réparations
doivent être effectuées par un technicien compétent!

Este aparato ha salido de nuestro establecimiento en absolutas perfectas condiciones. Para mantener esta
condición y asegurar un manejo seguro, es absolutamente necesario para el usuario seguir las instrucciones
de seguridad y notas de advertencia escritas en este manual del usuario.
Importante:
Los daños causados por no hacer caso de las instrucciones de este manual del usuario
no están sujetos a garantía. El proveedor no aceptará responsabilidad por ningún
defecto o problema resultante.
Siempre conectar la unidad de alimentación al final. Asegúrese de que el conmutador de alimentación está
en la posición “OFF” antes de conectar el aparato a la red.

3. INSTRUCCIONES DE MANEJO
Este aparato es un mixer de son profesional para mezclar las señales de son de fuentes de música diferente
entre ellos. El aparato sólo es permitido para una conexion con una tensión alternativa de 2 x 15 V,
50/60 Hz y ha sido diseñado para ser usado en interiores.
Este aparato sólo debe ser conectado mediante la unidad de alimentación incluída. El mixer pertenece a la
clase de protección II y la unidad de alimentación a la clase de protección III.
No agite el aparato. Evite hacer excésiva fuerza durante la instalación y el manejo del aparato.
Cuando buscar el sitio de instalación, por favor asegúrese de que el aparato no está expuesto a calor
extremo, humedad o polvo. No debe haber cables mal instalados o no fijados correctamente. ¡Se pone
usted en peligro y pone en peligro a otros!
No ponga el aparato en funcionamiento en ambientes con calor (más de 30° C) o frío (menos de 5° C)
extremos. Mantenga el aparato alejado del sol directo (especialmente en el coche) y de fuentes de calor.
Maneje el aparato sólo después de familiarizarse con sus funciones. No permita el manejo a personas que
no conocen el aparato lo suficientemente bien. La mayoría de los daños son causados por manejo
inadecuado de inexpertos.
No utilice productos de limpieza en aerosol para limpiar los faders.

El código de barras de serie no debe ser quitado del aparato, en caso de que esto ocurra la garantía ya no
es válida.
Cuando el aparato será utilizado de un modo diferente como describido en este manual, ésto puede causar
daños en el producto y la garantía expira. Además todos usos diferentes pueden causar peligros come p. ej.
cortocircuito, quema, descarga eléctrica, etc.
4. CONEXIONES
Instale el aparato en una superficie plana.
Asegúrese de que el conmutador de alimentación está en la posición “OFF”. Antes de que conecte los
aparatos todas las unidades deben de estar desenchufadas.
Para conseguir la mayor calidad de sonido utilice únicamente cables de alta calidad para conectar los
aparatos. Asegúrese de que los cables están fijados adecuadamente.
Puede conectar hasta 3 a amplificadores al CM-860. Puede reglar la señal master 1 con el Masterfader 1 y
el controlador "Balance". Puede reglar la señal master 2 con el Masterfader 2. Puede reglar la señal Booth
con el regulador de nivel Booth.
Puede conectar la salida master 1 mediante los casquillos cinch o las clavijas simétricas XLR incorporadas.

Puede conectar la salida master 2 mediante los casquillos cinch. Asegúrese de que los casquillos están
conectados adecuadamente (izq.=L / der.=R).
Mediante los casquillos "Booth" puede conectar bafles activos para su cabina DJ ("Booth") o un amplificator
adicional para crear una zona suplementaria.
Para grabar conecte su cassette a los casquillos REC OUT. El nivel del REC OUT no se verá afectado por
el regulador “Master”. Puede controlar el nivel de salida (output) con los faders de los canales.
El CM-860 posee un canal de micrófono controlable ("DJ Mic"). El micrófono "DJ Mic" puede ser conectado
mediante el casquillo XLR/jack en el panel frontal. Con la tecla “Talkover” puede atenuar todas las otras
señales sin afectar al volumen del micrófono.

El CM-860 también posee de un casquillo jack mono 6,35 mm MIC 1 en el panel trasero. Puede reglar el
nivel del micrófono con el fader CH-1. Asegúrese que el interruptor LINE 1/MIC 1 está en la posición MIC 1.
Puede conectar hasta 3 tocadiscos utilizando los casquillos PHONO 1, PHONO 2 y PHONO 3 del panel
trasero. Puede controlar la señal del tocadiscos después de que haya cambiado los interruptores
PHONO/LINE a PHONO. La señal se controla entonces mediante los faders CH-2, CH-3 y CH-4.
Conecte su cassette, radio, CD-player o todas las otras señales de línea a los casquillos LINE del panel
trasero. Las señales de línea pueden ser controladas sólo después de que ha conectado el interruptor
PHONO/LINE a LINE. La señal es controlada entonces mediante los respectivos faders.
Puede conectar un aparato de efectos especiales de sonido a los casquillos "Effects" para importar efectos
especiales de sonido adicionales.
Conectar el cable de conexión del transformador en el casquillo AC IN. Conecte el transformador a la red.

Se usa para seleccionar el input que se envia a cada uno de los canales individuales.
(2) Regulador "Gain"
Con el regulador "Gain" puede ajustar la intensidad de la señal de entrada.
(3) Pantalla del canal
Esta pantalla muestra el nivel de la señal del canal respectif.
(4) Regulador "Treble"
Para ajustar los agudos de la señal de entrada.
(5) Regulador "Middle"
Para ajustar los medios de la señal de entrada.
(6) Regulador "Bass"
Para ajustar los graves de la señal de entrada.
(7) Tecla Crossfade
Mediante la tecla Crossfade, Vd. puede determinar que éste canal sera puesto en el crossfader.
(8) Tecla Assign To
Mediante la tecla Assign To, Vd. puede seleccionar en que lado del crossfader el canal seleccionado
sera asignado.
(9) Tecla Effect Send
Para seleccionar el canal para las salidas Effect Send.
(10) Tecla Cue
Para seleccionar el canal para supervisión.
(11) Fader de vía
Se usa para ajustar el nivel de cada canal.

(12) Selector Crossfader Reverse
Con está función , Vd. puede invertar los canales del Crossfader. En la posición no enfoncada liegt el
canal 1 está en la izquierda del Crossfader, en la posición enfocada el canal 2 está en la derecha del
Crossfader.
(13) Tecla Crossfader Curve
Con esta tecla Vd. puede seleccionar el carácter regulador del crossfader. En el modo Soft, Vd. puede
reglar todo la línea crossfader contínuamente. En el modo Sharp, sólo puede reglar los lados de la línea
crossfader. Nunca utilizar esta tecla cuando hay música por que puede alternar el volumen.
(14) Tecla Crossfader Start
Con esta tecla Vd. puede conmutar el crossfader.
(15) Crossfader
Mezcla las señales de un canal con las de otro.
(16) Casquillo jack DJ MIC
Se puede conectar micrófonos con clavija XLR o jack.
(17) Tecla “Talkover”
Presione la tecla si quiere utilizar el micrófono. Cuando la tecla está presionada, todas las señales
excepto la del micrófono son atenuadas por 15 dB. En la posición OFF todas las señales vuelven a su
nivel original.
(18) Tecla DJ Mic On Air
Presione la tecla para activar la función Talkover automática. Cuando Vd. habla en el micrófono, todas
las señales excepto la del micrófono son atenuadas por 15 dB.
(19) Salida DJ Rec
Para conectar su unidad de grabación.
(20) Pantalla del nivel Master Level
La pantalla muestra el nivel de salida del master de la izquierda y de la derecha.
(21) Tecla LED Chain View
Con esta tecla, Vd. puede conmutar la pantalla de Master 1 a Master 2.
(22) Conmutador "Stereo/Mono"
Para conmutar la señal master a stereo o mono. Si ha conectado orígenes de tono con salida mono
mediante una clavija cinch al CM-860, conmute la señal master a mono para tener la señal en las dos
salidas.
(23) Tecla Effect Send
Para seleccionar el canal para las salidas Effect Send.
(24) Masterfader
Ajusta el nivel de la salida "Master 1".
(25) Conmutador de alimentación
Pulse el interruptor para comenzar a manejarlo.
(26) Regulador Master 2
Ajusta el nivel de la salida "Master 2".
(27) Regulador Return
Mediante este regulador, Vd. puede ajustar el nivel de los casquillos Effect Return.

(35) Casquillo de los auriculares
Se utiliza para conectar los auriculares. Se puede utilizar auriculares desde 8 ohmios hasta 600 ohmios.
(36) Tecla de función “Separación de CUE/Mezcla de CUE”
Función de separación de CUE (tecla fuera): la señal CUE está a un lado de los auriculares y la señal
de salida en el otro lado.
Función de mezcla de CUE (tecla presionada): la mezcla ajustable de la señal CUE y la señal de salida
están a ambos lados de los auriculares.
(37) Fader "Cue Mixing"
Conecte sus auriculares al casquillo de los auriculares. Seleccione el canal para supervisión con las

teclas "Cue".
Cuando Vd. pone el fader "Cue Mixing" en PGM, puede oír la señal de salida del mezclador. Cuando el
Fader "Cue Mixing" está en la posición intermedia, puede oír la señal de supervisión y de salida.

Conecte su micrófono con clavija jack 6,35 mm. Puede ajustar las señales mediante CH-1 cuando el

Estos casquillos nunca deben ser conectados con un voltaje.

Conecte aquí el cable de conexión de la unidad de alimentación y fijelo con el anillo retén.
6. OPERACIÓN
Puede apagar o desapagar el aparato mediante el interruptor POWER.
Cuando el mixer recibe los señales audio, la pantalla muestra el nivel de la señal audio. Vd. puede ajustar el
nivel de la señal de entrada mediante el regulador Gain respectivo.

7. SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

mediante el regulador "Gain".
8. SUSTITUCIÓN DEL CROSSFADER
Instrucciones para sustituir el Crossfader (cuando Vd. ha comprado un crossfader completo):
• Retirar el botón de fader
• Retirar los 2 tornillos exteriores del panel del fader
• Sacar el fader y desconectar el cable de conexión
• Conectar el nuevo fader y fijarlo en el aparato.
Para la versión de diseño, Vd. no puede utilizar el panel de fader del crossfader de recambio. Para sustituir
el panel de fader, también tiene que retirar los 2 tornillos interiores.
9. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
¡PELIGRO DE MUERTE!
¡Siempre desenchufe el aparato antes de comenzar con el mantenimiento!
Recomendamos una limpieza frecuente del aparato. Por favor utilice un paño suave que no suelte pelusa
humedecido. ¡No utilizar nunca alcohol o disolventes!
No hay piezas que necesiten de servicio dentro del aparato. Las operaciones de mantenimiento y servicio
deben ser llevadas a cabo únicamente por distribuidores autorizados.
En caso de que necesite piezas de repuesto, utilice piezas originales.
