• No use extensiones.
• No conecte otros aparatos en el

• No coloque reguladores de voltaje,
cacerolas eléctricas, hornos de mi-
croondas ni ningún otro aparato so-
bre el congelador ni en su interior.
ADVERTENCIAS RELACIONADAS CON LA OPERACIÓN
• No trate de dar servicio usted mis-
mo al congelador, tampoco trate de
desarmarlo. Todo trabajo de mante-
nimiento o reparación debe ser lle-
vado a cabo por personal del centro
de servicio autorizado.
• No debe instalarse el aparato pega-
do a muros, debe dejarse un claro
libre para mantener una buena ven-
tilación.
• Los claros entre las puertas del
aparato así como entre las puertas
y el cuerpo del congelador son pe-
queños. Para evitar machucones, no
coloque sus manos en estas áreas.
• Para evitar que su piel quede pega-
da a los artículos, no tome los pa-
quetes de alimentos o los contene-
dores de alimentos mientras el apa-
rato está trabajando; especialmente
los contenedores metálicos.
• Para evitar lesiones serias, NO per-
mita que los niños ingresen al inte-
rior del aparato ni que trepen sobre
él. Podrían quedar atrapados en su
interior.
• No rocíe el aparato con ningún lí-
quido ni lo lave usando agua. No
instale el congelador en un sitio hú-
medo, ni en un sitio en donde pue-
de ser salpicado fácilmente con
agua, ya que esto afectará las pro-
piedades de aislamiento eléctrico
del aparato.
• No coloque objetos pesados sobre
el congelador.

• Antes de limpiar el aparato o en
caso de un apagón, desconéctelo
del suministro de energía eléctrica.
Una vez desconectado del suminis-
tro de energía, no conecte el apara-
to antes de que hayan transcurrido
cinco minutos. Esto previene posi-
bles daños al compresor debido a
arranques sucesivos.
• No introduzca artículos inflamables,
explosivos, volátiles y altamente co-
rrosivos dentro del congelador. Esto
previene daños al producto y acci-
dentes.
• No coloque artículos inflamables
cerca del congelador.
• Este producto es un congelador do-
méstico de alimentos y es apropia-
do para almacenar alimentos sola-
mente. Este aparato NO debe usar-
se con otros propósitos como por
ejemplo el almacenamiento de san-
gre, medicamentos o productos bio-
lógicos.
• No almacene en el congelador bo-
tellas ni contenedores sellados
como por ejemplo cerveza y bebi-
das embotelladas. Los líquidos em-
botellados pueden estallar cuando
se congelan.
ADVERTENCIAS RELACIONADAS CON DESHACERSE DEL

El refrigerante R600a así como la es-
puma de ciclopentano que se usan en
este aparato son materiales combus-
tibles. Los congeladores que se des-
echan no deben ser quemados.
Llegado el momento, lleve el aparato
a una empresa que se dedica al reci-
clado de aparatos electrodomésticos
para que sea procesado y evitar da-
ños al ambiente.

Instrucciones de operación
Partes del congelador
• La temperatura baja del congelador
puede mantener los alimentos fres-
cos durante un periodo largo de
tiempo y se usa principalmente para
almacenar alimentos congelados y
para hacer hielo.
• El congelador es apropiado para al
almacenamiento de carne roja, pes-
cado, camarones, pastelitos, bolas
de arroz y otros alimentos.
• Es preferible dividir los trozos gran-
des de carne en piezas más peque-
ñas para hacerlas más accesibles.
Los alimentos que almacena deben
consumirse antes de su fecha de ca-
ducidad.

• Antes de usar el congelador, retire
todo el material de empaque inclu-
yendo el acojinamiento inferior, las
almohadillas de espuma y cinta a-
dhesiva. Retire la película protecto-
ra que se encuentra sobre las puer-
tas y cuerpo del aparato.
• Coloque el congelador en un sitio
bien ventilado y en interiores. El
piso debe estar plano y lo suficien-
temente fuerte para soportar el
peso del aparato completamente
cargado.
Ubicación del congelador

Lámpara
La lámpara y/o el foco LED debe ser reemplazado por técnicos del centro de
servicio autorizado.
El congelador tiene un control para
regular la temperatura. El control
del temperatura está ubicado en la
izquierda inferior derecha.
El equipo puede ser cambiado de
opción de enfriamiento a congela-
miento mientras que el rango de
temperatura es de “1” templado a
“3” el más frio, en este rango el
equipo esta en condiciones de en-
friamiento, cuando el control de te-
mperatura esta entre “4” el más te-
mplado y “8” el más frio, el equipo
está en condiciones de congelamiento.
Cuando se active la función “SUPER”
el congelamiento es más rápido y el
compresor no para de funcionar has-
ta que se desactive la función.

• El sitio de instalación debe estar
alejado del calor y no debe recibir
los rayos directos del sol. Para evi-
tar el óxido así como el deterioro
del sistema aislante, no coloque el
aparato en sitios húmedos ni moja-
dos.
• Deben respetarse los claros míni-
mos que son 70 cm por encima del
aparato y 20 cm hacia los lados y
también hacia la parte trasera del
congelador. Esto facilita la apertura
de las puertas y permite la disipa-
ción del calor que genera el sistema
de refrigeración.
• Limpie el interior y exterior del
aparato usando un trapo húmedo.
Puede usar agua templada para hu-
medecer el trapo y agregar un poco
de detergente líquido. Enjuague
usando un trapo humedecido en
agua limpia y sin detergente.

Arranque
• Permita que el aparato descanse en
su sitio final de instalación por 30
minutos antes de conectarlo al su-
ministro de energía.
• Permita que el congelador trabaje
durante 2 a 3 horas antes de intro-
ducir alimentos frescos o congela-
dos en el compartimiento. Durante
el verano, permita que el congela-
dor trabaje por más de 4 horas an-
tes de introducir los alimentos. Esto
se debe a que la temperatura am-
biental será más alta.

Instrucciones de mantenimiento
Limpieza
• No use cepillos rígidos, bolas de
acero, cepillos de alambre, substan-
cias abrasivas como pasta dental,
solventes orgánicos como alcohol,
acetona, aceites de frutas, etc.,
agua hirviendo, ácidos ni substan-
cias alcalinas debido a que estas
substancias dañarán las superficies
interiores y exteriores del aparato.
1. Sacuda regularmente el área por
detrás del aparato y bajo él. Esto
mejora el enfriamiento así como el
consumo de energía.
2. El interior del congelador debe
limpiarse regularmente para evitar
la formación de olores. Se sugiere
usar una toalla suave o una espon-
ja humedecida en una mezcla de
agua con un detergente neutro.
3. Para finalizar la limpieza, limpie el
aparato con un trapo humedecido
en agua limpia y después pase un
trapo suave y seco.
4. Antes de encender el aparato de
nuevo, deje abiertas las puertas
para que el interior se seque natu-
ralmente.

• No enjuague con agua ya que po-
dría dañar el sistema de aislamiento
eléctrico. Use un trapo seco y suave
para limpiar el panel de controles y
componentes eléctricos.
Deshielo
El congelador debe deshielarse ma-
nualmente.
1. Desconecte el aparato y abra la
puerta.
2. Retire los alimentos, cajones y
anaqueles antes de deshielar el
aparato.
3. Retire los tapones de los agujeros
de drenaje y coloque contenedores
para recibir el agua producto del
deshielo.
El hielo del interior se derretirá natu-
ralmente. Limpie el agua producto
del deshielo usando un trapo seco y
suave. Una vez que el hielo se ha
suavizado, puede usar una espátula
especial para retirar el hielo.
Coloque los alimentos que retiró, en
un sitio frío.

En caso de un apagón, pueden pre-
servarse los alimentos por un par de
horas aún durante el verano. Reduz-
ca la frecuencia con la que abre las
puertas del aparato. No introduzca
más alimentos a temperatura am-
biente en el aparato durante un apa-
gón.
Solución de problemas
Los siguientes problemas pueden resolverse fácilmente. Si no soluciona el
problema, entonces contacte al centro de servicio autorizado.
El aparato no traba-
ja.
• Asegúrese de que el congelador se encuentre bien
conectado al suministro de energía.
• El voltaje de suministro es bajo.
• Asegúrese de que la perilla de control de temperatu-
ra se encuentra en la posición apropiada.
• Apagón, fusible quemado o disyuntor de circuitos
disparado.

más alta.
• No introduzca demasiados alimentos en el congela-
dor al mismo tiempo.
• No introduzca alimentos calientes en el congelador.
• No abra las puertas del congelador con demasiada
frecuencia.
• Capa gruesa de hielo. El aparato necesita un deshie-
lo.
Si no va a usar el aparato por un pe-
riodo largo de tiempo, entonces des-
conecte el aparato del suministro de
energía. Deje las puertas abiertas
para evitar la formación de olores.
No voltee el aparato. Cuando lo mue-
va, asegúrese de no inclinarlo en un
ángulo mayor a 45º.
Antes de mover el aparato para una
mudanza, asegure las puertas.

Ruido. • Asegúrese de que los alimentos y el aparato estén
nivelados, ya que esto podría causar vibración.
Condiciones normales de operación
• El gabinete del congelador podría
producir calor durante la operación,
especialmente en el verano. Esto es
causado por la radiación del con-
densador y es normal.
• Puede notar un poco de condensa-
ción sobre las superficies exteriores
y los sellos de las puertas. Esto se
debe a que el clima es húmedo.
Esto es normal. Puede limpiar la

• Hold the connector by the power
plug, not by the cord.
• This product is equipped with a "Y"
type polarized plug having a built-in
grounding wire.
• Do not remove the grounding ter-
minal or use outlet adapters.
• If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its authorized service agent
or by qualified personnel in order to

your area, have a voltage regulator

• DO NOT place regulators, rice cook-
ers, microwave ovens or other ap-
pliances on the top of the freezer.
Do not use electrical appliances in
the compartment.
OPERATION RELATED WARNINGS
• It is forbidden to damage the re-
frigerant lines. Repair and mainte-
nance jobs of the refrigerator must
be carried out by professionals.
• The surrounding of the appliance
must not be obstructed while good
ventilation shall be maintained.
• The gaps between freezer doors
and between doors and freezer
body are small, do not to place your
hands in these areas to prevent
pinching your fingers.
• Do not pick foods or containers
from the freezing chamber when
the refrigerator is running, espe-
cially metal containers in order to
avoid frostbite.
• Do not allow children to enter or
climb the freezer to prevent that
children are sealed in the freezer or
children are injured by the falling
freezer.
• Do not spray or wash the freezer;
do not put the freezer in moist
places easy to be splashed with wa-
ter so as not to affect the electrical
insulation properties of the freezer.
• Do not place heavy objects on the
top of the freezer.

• Please pull of the plug in case of
power failure or cleaning. Do not
connect the freezer to power supply
within five minutes to prevent dam-
ages to the compressor due to suc-
cessive starts.
• Do not put flammable, explosive,
volatile and highly corrosive items
in the freezer to prevent damages
to the product or fire accidents.
• Do not place flammable items near
the freezer to avoid fires.
• This product is a household freezer
and shall be only suitable for the
storage of food. According to na-
tional standards, household freezers
shall not be used for other pur-
poses, such as storage of blood,
drugs or biological products.
• Do not place items such as bottled
or sealed containers of fluids such
as bottled beers and beverages in
the freezer to prevent bursts and
other losses.
DISPOSAL RELATED WARNINGS
The freezer's R600a refrigerant and
cyclopentane foam materials are
combustible materials. Discarded
freezers should be isolated from fire
sources and should not be burned.
Please take the freezer to qualified
professional recycling companies for
processing to avoid damages to the
environment or other hazards.

Operation Instructions
Parts of your new freezer
• The low temperature of freezer may
keep food fresh for a long time and
it is mainly used to store frozen
foods and making ice.
• The freezer is suitable for storage
of meat, fish, shrimp, dumplings,
rice balls and other foods not to be
consumed in short term.
• Chunks of meat should preferably
be divided into small pieces for
easy access. Please note that food
shall be consumed within the shelf
time.

• Place the freezer on a well venti-
lated indoor place. The floor should
be flat and sturdy enough to sup-
port the weight of the freezer com-
pletely loaded.

Your freezer has one control for
regulating the temperature. The
temperature control is located on
the lower right hand corner.
This equipment can be switched
from cooling to freezing. while the
temperature control ranges from
"1" the warmest to "3" the coldest,
the equipment is in the cooling co-
ndition; while the temperature co-
ntrol ranges from "4" the warmest to
"8" the coldest,the equipment is in
the freezing condition.
When turn to “SUPER”, the freezer
getting “fast freeze” and the comp-
ressor will not stop until you turn the
button to the other position.

Maintenance instructions
Cleaning
• Do not use hard brushes, clean
steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives
such as toothpaste, organic sol-
vents (such as alcohol, acetone, ba-
nana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or
alkaline items to clean the freezer
considering that these may damage
the appliance exterior and interior
surfaces.
1. Regularly dust behind the freezer
and under it to improve the cooling
effect and energy saving.
2. The interior of the freezer should
be cleaned regularly to avoid odor.
A soft towel or sponge dampened
in water and a non-corrosive neu-
tral detergent are suggested for
cleaning.
3. The freezer of shall be finally
cleaned with clean water and a dry
soft cloth.
4. Open the door for natural drying
before the power is turned on.

• Do not rinse with water so as not to
affect the electrical insulation prop-
erties. Please use a soft dry cloth
when cleaning temperature control
knob and electrical components.
Defrost
Freezer shall be manually defrosted.
1. Unplug the freezer and open the
freezer door.
2. Remove foods and drawers before
defrosting.
3. Open the drainage holes and place
a water container at the drainage
holes.
Indoor frost will naturally melt, wipe
the defrost water with a dry, soft
cloth. When the frost softens, an ice
scraper may be used.
Place the foods you removed from
the freezer into an insulated con-
tainer or locker.

PROCESS. DO NOT DAM-
AGE THE REFRIGERANT
CIRCUIT.

In case of a power failure, foods can
be preserved for a couple of hours
even during summer. It is recom-
mended to reduce the frequency of
opening door and do not put fresh
foods into the freezer.
Please unplug the freezer if left un-
used for a long time or for cleaning.
Keep the door open to avoid odors.
Do not turn upside, horizontally place
or vibrate the refrigerator, the carry-
ing angle should not be greater than
45°.
Secure doors before moving the ap-
pliance.
Troubleshooting
The following issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after-sales
service department if the issue is not solved.
The freezer does
not operate
• Check that the appliance is plugged to power.
• Low voltage.
• Make sure the temperature control knob is in a
working setting.
• Power failure or tripped circuit.
Problem Possible solution
Odor • Food producing strong odor should be tightly
wrapped.
• Rotten food.
• The interior of the appliance needs cleaning.
Long-term opera-
tion of compressor
• It is normal for the freezer to operate for longer
times during summer when the room temperature is
higher.
• Do not add to much food in the freezer at the same
time.
• Do not place warm food inside the freezer. Wait until
food packages are at room temperature.
• Freezer door opened for too long or too frequently.
• Thick frost layer (defrost is needed).

Interior light does
not turn on
• Make sure the freezer is plugged to power.
• The light bulb is damaged.
The freezer door
can not be properly
closed
• The door is stuck by food packages.
• Too much food packages inside the freezer.
• Freezer is tilted.
Loud noise • Food packages are not level.
• Freezer is not leveled.
Normal operation conditions
• The freezer compartment may emit
heat during operation especially
during summer. This is caused by
the radiation of the condenser and
is normal.
• Condensation may be noticed on
the exterior surfaces of cabinet and
door seals, when the ambient hu-
midity is high. This is normal. Wipe
the condensation using a soft cloth.
• Airflow sound. Refrigerant circulat-
ing through the refrigerant lines will
produce gurgling and grunts. This is
normal and will not affect the cool-
ing performance of the appliance.
• Buzzing sound. This will be gener-
ated by the compressor running,
specially when starting and turning
off.
• Clatter. The solenoid valve or elec-
tric switch valve will clatter which is
normal and does not affect opera-
tion of the freezer.
