• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur,

discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.

• Never use any foot spa on open wounds, discolored areas, or any area of the body that is swollen,

burned, inﬂamed, or where skin eruptions or sores are present.

• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and consult

a doctor. Persistant pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.

• DO NOT use while sleepy or drowsy.

• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue

use and consult your physician.

• This product is intended for household use only.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of

least resistance for the electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with

a cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into

an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and

ordinances.

DANGER

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.

Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is

properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product - if it will not fit the outlet, you

may temporarily use an adapter (such as the one shown in Figure B) until you have a proper outlet

(such as the one shown in Figure C) installed by a qualified electrician.

This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug

illustrated in Figure A. A temporary adapter that looks like the adapter illustrated in Figure B may be

used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in Figure D if a properly grounded outlet is not

available. The temporary adapter should be used only until a properly grounded outlet Figure C can be

installed by a qualiﬁed electrician. The tab for grounding screw Figure B extending from the adapter must

be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adapter

is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw. See Figures D and E.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Ensure that the unit is unplugged before ﬁlling with water. Fill with water to the ﬁll line located on

the inside of the tub. For a quicker heat boost, ﬁll with warm water. Once water reaches selected

temperature, it will stay at this temperature for as long as the heat function is selected.

CAUTION: Do not ﬁll water over the ﬁll line.

2. Place the unit on a waterproof surface, or any surface that cannot be damaged by splashing water.

3. Plug the unit into a 120 volt household outlet.

4. Sit down in a comfortable position. With the touch of your toe, press the power button to activate the

bubble massage and heat boost.

5. To use the pedicure center:

a. To utilize the dual sided pedicure tool, simply pull up on the attachment to remove from the unit.

• Pumice Stone: Contoured pumice cradles the heels and balls of your feet to smooth and soften

dry skin.

• Cleansing Brush: Use to cleanse and exfoliate your feet.

b. When ﬁnished with the pedicure attachment, rinse and allow to dry. To replace the pedicure

attachment, place back into the attachment storage area.

6. Enjoy a manual massage by sliding feet back and forth over the sensuous seagrass inserts on the

footbath ﬂoor.

7. To empty: ﬁrst, unplug the unit. Take the footbath to the closest drain and tip the unit allowing water

to pour out along the drain spout. DO NOT pour water over the control panel.

NOTE: To reduce splashing due to different water displacements of feet, raise or lower the water level

of the footbath.

Caution: To avoid injury and irreparable damage, always remain seated when using this footbath.

Never stand on or in the unit.

MAINTENANCE

TO CLEAN

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth and mild

cleansing agent.

• After cleaning, wipe surfaces with a dry cloth.

• Never use strong abrasives, detergents, or cleansing agents.

• Periodically straighten cord if it becomes twisted.

TO STORE

Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow to cool and dry.

• Store in its box or a clean, dry place.

• To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit.

• Do not hang the unit by the power cord.

• This appliance is designed for household use only.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, contact a consumer relations representative for assistance. Please

make sure to have the model number of the product available.

HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the

product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This

warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory;

alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modiﬁcations; improper use of electrical/power

supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s

recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use

during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever

that are beyond the control of HoMedics

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A

product that requires modiﬁcations or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was

designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modiﬁcations is not covered

under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER

WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER

OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL

INSTRUCCIONES DE PUESTA A TIERRA

Este producto debe estar conectado a tierra. En caso de funcionamiento incorrecto o descompostura,

la conexión a tierra provee una vía de menor resistencia para la corriente eléctrica con el ﬁn de reducir

el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Este producto está equipado con un cable y un enchufe de conexión a

tierra. El enchufe debe estar conectado a un tomacorriente adecuado que esté correctamente instalado y

conectado a tierra de acuerdo con todos los códigos y normas locales.

PELIGRO

La conexión incorrecta del cable de puesta a tierra del equipo puede ser causa de riesgo de

descarga eléctrica. Consulte a un electricista o técnico calificado si tiene alguna duda sobre la

correcta conexión a tierra del producto. No modifique el enchufe provisto con el producto. Si el

enchufe no se ajusta al tomacorriente, puede usar de manera provisional un adaptador (como el que

se ilustra en la Figura B) hasta que cuente con un tomacorriente adecuado (como el que se ilustra en

la Figura C) instalado por un electricista calificado.

Este producto está diseñado para usarse en un circuito con tensión nominal de 120 V y cuenta con un

enchufe de conexión a tierra como el que se ilustra en la Figura A. Puede usarse un adaptador provisional

(como el que se ilustra en la Figura B) para conectar este enchufe a un tomacorriente de dos puntas

(como se ilustra en la Figura D) en caso de no contar con un tomacorriente conectado correctamente a

tierra. El adaptador provisional deberá usarse sólo hasta que un electricista caliﬁcado pueda instalar

un tomacorriente conectado correctamente a tierra como el que se ilustra en la Figura C. La pestaña

para el tornillo de conexión a tierra (Figura B) que sobresale del adaptador debe conectarse a la tierra

permanente, por ejemplo a la cubierta de una caja de tomacorriente conectada correctamente a tierra.

Cada vez que use el adaptador, debe ﬁjarlo en su posición correcta con un tornillo metálico. Vea las

Figuras D y E.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

1. Asegúrese de que la unidad esté desenchufada antes de llenarla con agua. Llénela con agua hasta

la línea de llenado ubicada en el interior de la bañera. Para aumentar el calor más rápidamente,

rellene con agua tibia. Una vez que el agua alcance la temperatura seleccionada, permanecerá a esa

temperatura mientras esté seleccionada la función de calor.

PRECAUCIÓN: No llenar con agua por arriba de la línea de llenado:

3. Coloque la unidad sobre una superﬁcie impermeable, o sobre cualquier superﬁcie que no pueda ser

dañada por salpicaduras de agua.

4. Conecte la unidad a un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.

5. Siéntese en una posición cómoda. Con el toque de su dedo del pie, presione el botón de encendido

para activar el masaje de burbujas y la función de calentamiento.

6. Para usar el centro de pedicura:

a. Para utilizar la herramienta de pedicura de doble cara, simplemente jale el accesorio para retirarlo

de la unidad.

• Piedra pómez: La piedra pómez moldeada sirve de apoyo para los talones y las bolas de

pies para alisar y suavizar la piel seca.

• Cepillo limpiador: Úselo para limpiar y exfoliar sus pies

b. Al terminar de usar el accesorio de pedicura, enjuáguelo y permita que se seque. Vuelva a

colocar el accesorio de pedicura en el área de almacenamiento del accesorio.

7. Disfrute de un masaje manual deslizando sus pies hacia adelante y hacia atrás sobre los relajantes

insertos tipo hierbas marinas en el piso del baño de pies.

8. Para vaciarla: desenchufe primero la unidad. Tome el baño de pies lo más cerca posible de una

coladera e incline la unidad permitiendo que el agua se vacíe por la boquilla de drenado. NO llenar

con agua por arriba del panel de control:

NOTA: Para reducir las salpicaduras debido a los diferentes desplazamientos de agua por los pies,

eleve o baje el nivel de agua del baño de pies.niveau d’eau dans le bain de pieds.

Precaución: Para evitar lesiones y daños irreparables, siempre permanezca sentado cuando use este

baño de pies. Nunca se pare sobre él ni sobre la unidad.

MANTENIMIENTO

PARA LIMPIAR

Desconecte la unidad y permita que se enfríe antes de limpiarla. Limpie únicamente con un trapo suave y

húmedo y con un agente limpiador suave.

• Después de limpiarlo, frote las superﬁcies con un trapo seco.

• Nunca utilice abrasivos fuertes, detergentes o agentes limpiadores.

• Estire periódicamente el cable si se enrolla.

PARA ALMACENAR

Desconecte el electrodoméstico del tomacorriente y permita que se enfríe y se seque.

• Almacénelo en su caja o en un lugar limpio y seco.

• Para evitar que se rompa, no envuelva el cable de energía alrededor de la unidad.

• No cuelgue la unidad del cable de corriente.

modiﬁcaciones o adaptaciones para que funcione en cualquier otro país que no sea el país para el cual fue diseñado, fabricado,

aprobado y/o autorizado, o la reparación de productos dañados por estas modiﬁcaciones no está cubierto por esta garantía.

DEFECTUOSOS, HOMEDICS SE RESERVA EL DERECHO DE HACER SUBSTITUCIONES DE PRODUCTOS EN LUGAR DE REPARACIÓN O
