As the colours of the wires in the mains lead

of this coffee maker may not correspond with

the coloured markings identifying the termi-

nals

in your plug, proceed as follows:

E The wire that is coloured GREEN & YELLOW must be connected to the

terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E, or the earth

Symbol , or coloured GREEN or GREEN & YELLOW.

E The wire that is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal

which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.

E The wire that is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which

is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.

E This appliance requires a 13 amp fuse.

E Should the fuse need to be replaced an ASTA marked fuse, approved to

BS 1362, of the same rating must be used.

E Always replace the fuse cover after fitting a fuse. The plug must NOT be

used if the cover is omitted or lost until a replacement is obtained - make

certain that only the correct fuse cover is used and fitted.

E For plugs with a detachable fuse cover, the replacement must be the same

as the colour insert in the base of the plug, or as directed by the em-

bossed working on the base of the plug.

E If the detachable fuse cover is lost, a replacement may be purchased from

a Rowenta Service Centre (see enclosed Service Information leaflet).

E Information for supply may also be obtained from the plug manufacturer.

E An electrical appliance is not a toy. Use and store the appliance out of

BEFORE USE

Remove the transparent soleplate protector

1 Electronic 3-stage automatic switch-off (depending on model)

If the iron is switched on and not moved for a period of 8 minutes while standing

on its heel or 30 seconds while standing on the soleplate or Iying on its side,

an internal safety feature will switch the iron off and the automatic switch-off

indicator will blink. Move the appliance sharply to switch it on again.

STARTING UP

■ Please read the information under POINTS TO NOTE.

■ When using the iron for the first time, plug it into the mains electricity supply,

set the temperature control to max., do not add any water, stand the iron on

its heel and allow it to heat up in the vertical position for 2 minutes. A small

amount of smoke may be generated. This is perfectly normal and will disap-

pear after a short period of use.

STEAM IRONING

2 Adding water

■ Unplug the iron.

■ Push the steam control slide fully to the left to shut off the steam valve

(Position “min“).

■ Push the cover of the water fill opening downwards.

■ Hold the iron vertically so that the tank opening is horizontal. Fill with water

(containing no additives) up to the max. mark and close the cover.

Replenishing water

■ Unplug the iron.

■ Move the variable steam control fully to the left (Position “min“). Add water

■ Plug in the iron again and wait until the warning light goes off. Return the

steam control slide to the desired steam volume.

E Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the mains

supply.

E Electrical appliances generate high temperatures. Always use the handles

provided and warn other users of the potential dangers (e.g. escaping

steam or hot water, especially when ironing vertically).

E Never treat clothing which is being worn.

E Always disconnect the appliance:

– before filling or emptying the water tank;

– before leaving the room (even for a short time);

– after use.

E Never unplug the appliance by tugging on the cord.

E Only safe extension leads should be used.

E Do not immerse the appliance in water.

E An electrical appliance should not be used if:

– the appliance, the supply cord or the cord protector is damaged;

– the appliance has been dropped;

– the appliance is obviously leaking. In this case the appliance should be

returned to an approved Rowenta Service Dealer for repair. (See enclosed

list for addresses.)

E Repairs to electrical appliances may only be carried out by specialists.

Improperly carried out repairs can cause serious danger to users. To avoid

danger to users, a defective or damaged supply cord may only be re-

placed by an authorised Rowenta service centre.

E Rowenta accepts no liability for damage arising from improper use or

operation (see also POINTS TO NOTE). This appliance is for domestic use

only.

be disposed of through the correct channels.

3 SELECTING THE IRONING TEMPERATURE

Set the temperature control on the iron using the international dot symbols

(control knob/garment label) or by type of fabric:

■ Before ironing, sort laundry by type of fabric.

■ For delicate fabrics we recommend testing the ironing temperature on an

invisible spot (inside of the hem) before starting to iron.

Connect the iron to the mains electricity supply

Plug in the iron. The warning light goes on and indicates that the iron is heating

up. As soon as the light goes out, the set temperature has been reached and the

iron is ready for use.

4 ADJUSTABLE STEAM FUNCTION

Set the variable steam control to required steam volume. Steam can only be

produced when the thermostat is aligned to ● ● ● or max. (red zone). Allow

iron to heat up (light goes out) before activating the variable steam control.

Anti-drip system (depending on model)

The anti-drip system reduces the steam volume when the set temperature is too

low. This helps prevent any water dripping from the soleplate.

5 SPRAY FUNCTION

Laundry can be spray dampened as soon as there is water in the tank.

■ Press spray button down:

fast and strongly = spray mist

6 SHOT OF STEAM

While ironing, firmly press down the shot of steam button. A strong shot of steam

penetrates deeply into the fabric. Allow an interval of at least 4 seconds between

steam shots.

7 Vertical steam jet

The iron can be used vertically. This is ideal for removing wrinkles from clothing

on hangers, curtains, wall tapestries, etc.

Important!

Never steam or iron clothing that is being worn.

DRY IRONING

Push the variable steam control fully to the left (Position “min“).

AFTER IRONING

Unplug the iron. Pour out remaining water. Always return the steam control slide

to min and leave the iron to cool off.

8 Iron with cord storage

■ For storage the supply cord can be wrapped around the integrated cord

storage feature once the iron has cooled off completely.

■ Always store the iron on its heel to protect the soleplate.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

■ When necessary use a damp cloth to clean the cool iron, then wipe dry.

■ Read the information in POINTS TO NOTE.

Cleaning the soleplate

For the stainless steel soleplate we recommend the Rowenta soleplate cleaner

PC05. This is available from Rowenta dealers.

■ The high quality soleplate of your iron makes ironing easier and protects your

laundry. When not being used the iron should always be placed on its heel.

Do not rest it on a rough surface. Do not scratch or scrape the soleplate. Do

not use strong or abrasive detergents for cleaning.

9 Self-clean function

■ To clean the steam chamber it is advisable to activate the iron’s self-clean

function every two weeks. If the water in your area is very hard we recom-

mend weekly cleaning. To do this fill the tank to half and heat the iron on the

maximum temperature. Hold iron horizontally over the sink, push the steam

regulator slide beyond the max. position to “self clean“ and hold.

■ Initially a great deal of steam will be expelled. After a few seconds this is fol-

lowed by steam and water, which rinses dirt and scale particles out of the

steam chamber. Release the self-clean button after about 1 minute on position

min. Unplug the iron, allow it to cool off completely and wipe the soleplate

with a damp cloth. Plug in the iron again, allow it to heat up and hold it over

the sink for a moment to release steam.

■ The self-clean function helps prevent the drip opening in the steam chamber

from becoming blocked or affected by scale. Keep the function working well

by opening and closing the valve several times each time you have used the

iron (activate the steam control slide).

POINTS TO NOTE

■ If the iron has not been used for a long time (e.g. several weeks) the steam

channels should be cleaned and any deposits removed from the iron. To do

this, hold the iron horizontally before you start to use it and allow it to pro-

duce steam for about 1 minute. Also activate the shot of steam button several

times.

Long-term descaling (Long-Life Anticalc System – depending on model)

Your iron is fitted with a special descaling system in the water tank, which allows

you to use tap water in the tank, regardless of hardness. You can also use distilled

water or the Rowenta demineraliser PC010. For distilled water we recommend

mixing it in a 1:1 ratio with tap water.

Important:

Always empty the water tank when you have finished ironing!

Always remember:

Battery water and water containing additives (such as starch, perfume or fabric

conditioner) may not be used. Such additives can affect the properties of the

steam and, at high temperatures, can form deposits in the steam chamber, which

will mark the laundry when they are emitted through the steam vents. For this

reason descaling liquids should not be used.

(see enclosed Service Information leaflet). These Service Agents carry out in-

guarantee repairs (free of charge) and out-of-guarantee repairs (chargeable) on

behalf of Rowenta. Should service be required, or the appliance appear faulty,

consult your local Rowenta Service Agent in the first instance. If a product

develops a fault during the guarantee period, it is the responsibility of the

consumer to supply to the Service Agent proof of the date of purchase of the

appliance (e. g. completed guarantee card and/or receipt showing the date of

purchase).

VOR DEM BENUTZEN

Den transparenten Sohlenschutz entfernen.

1 Elektronische 3-Lagen-Abschaltautomatik (je nach Modell)

Sollte das eingeschaltete Gerät über einen Zeitraum von 8 Minuten auf dem

Heck oder 30 Sekunden auf der Seite bzw. Sohle nicht bewegt werden, so

schaltet eine interne Sicherheitsabschaltung das Gerät ab und die Anzeige für

die Abschaltautomatik blinkt. Um das Bügeleisen wieder einzuschalten, das Gerät

ruckartig bewegen.

INBETRIEBNAHME

Bitte beachten Sie die Hinweise unter „DAS SOLLTEN SIE WISSEN“.

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose stecken,

den Temperaturregler auf Stufe max. stellen und das Gerät ohne Wasser in

aufrechter Position auf dem Heck stehend 2 Minuten aufheizen. Dabei kann

eine leichte Rauchbildung auftreten. Dieser Vorgang ist völlig normal und

verliert sich nach kurzem Gebrauch.

DAMPFBÜGELN

2 Wasser einfüllen

Netzstecker ziehen.

Den Dampfschieberegler nach links bis zum Anschlag stellen (Position „min“),

um das Dampfventil zu schließen.

Die Abdeckung der Wassereinfüllöffnung nach unten schieben.

Gerät aufrecht halten, so daß die Wassereinfüllöffnung waagerecht liegt.

Wasser (ohne Zusätze) bis zur max-Markierung in die Einfüllöffnung gießen

und die Abdeckung wieder schließen.

Wasser nachfüllen

Netzstecker ziehen.

Dampfschieberegler nach links bis zum Anschlag stellen (Position „min“).

Wasser einfüllen.

Gerät an Stromnetz anschließen und warten bis die Kontrollampe erlischt.

Den Dampfschieberegler wieder auf die gewünschte Dampfstärke stellen.

3 BÜGELTEMPERATUR WÄHLEN

Den Reglerknopf nach den internationalen Punktsymbolen (Reglerknopf/Wäsche-

etikett) oder nach Gewebeart einstellen.

Bei empfindlichen Stoffen empfehlen wir, an einer nicht sichtbaren Stelle

(Sauminnenseite) eine Bügelprobe durchzuführen.

Gerät am Stromnetz anschließen

Netzstecker in eine Steckdose stecken – die Kontrollampe leuchtet und zeigt die

Aufheizphase an. Sobald die Kontrollampe erlischt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur

erreicht und das Gerät betriebsbereit.

4 REGELBARE DAMPFFUNKTION EINSTELLEN

Mit dem Dampfschieberegler kann die gewünschte Dampfmenge eingestellt

werden. Dampf kann nur dann erzeugt werden, wenn die Bügeltemperatur im

roten Bereich liegt (

● ● ● bis max.). Dampfschieberegler erst betätigen, wenn

die Bügeltemperatur erreicht ist (Licht geht aus).

Anti-Drip-System (je nach Modell)

Durch das neue Anti-Drip-System wird die Dampfmenge bei zu geringer Tempe-

ratur reduziert, sodaß ein Tropfen der Sohle weitgehend vermieden wird.

Gerät dampfbügelbereit

Beim Waagerechthalten setzt die Dampfbildung ein.

Dampfstop

Die Dampfbildung kann unterbrochen werden:

durch Abstellen des Gerätes auf dem Heck,

durch Verstellen des Dampfschiebereglers nach links bis zum Anschlag.

5 SPRAYEINRICHTUNG

Sobald Wasser im Tank ist, kann die Wäsche eingesprüht werden.

Die Spraytaste herunterdrücken:

langsam = Sprühstrahl

schnell und kräftig = Sprühnebel

6 DAMPFSCHUSS

Während des Bügelns die Dampfschußtaste fest herunterdrücken. Ein kräftiger

Dampfstoß dringt tief in das Gewebe. Der Abstand zwischen den Dampfstößen

sollte mindestens vier Sekunden betragen.

7 Vertikaler Dampfschuß

Das Gerät kann auch in vertikaler Stellung benutzt werden. Dies bietet sich

besonders zum Entknittern von aufgehängten Kleidungsstücken, Vorhängen,

Wandbehängen usw. an.

Achtung!

Niemals am Körper befindliche Kleidungsstücke behandeln.

TROCKENBÜGELN

Den Dampfschieberegler nach links bis zum Anschlag (Position „min“) stellen.

NACH DEM BÜGELN

Netzstecker ziehen. Restwasser ausgießen. Den Dampfschieberegler immer auf

min. stellen und Gerät abkühlen lassen.

8 Integrierte Kabelaufwicklung

Zum Aufbewahren kann die Zuleitung bequem und platzsparend um die

integrierte Kabelaufwicklung des vollständig abgekühlten Gerätes gewickelt

werden.

Das Gerät zum Schutz der Sohle immer auf dem Heck abstellen.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Das abgekühlte Gerät ggf. mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen und trocken-

reiben.

Bitte Hinweise „DAS SOLLTEN SIE WISSEN“ beachten.

Reinigen der Bügelsohle

Zum Reinigen der Edelstahl-Sohle empfehlen wir, das Edelstahl-Pflegemittel

(Bestell-Nr. GP-0800) zu verwenden. Erhältlich durch den Rowenta Kundendienst

(Adressen siehe Service-Spiegel).

Die hochwertige Sohle des Gerätes schont die Wäsche und sorgt für ange-

nehmes Bügeln. Das Gerät deshalb in Bügelpausen auf dem Heck abstellen.

Keine rauhen Untersetzer benutzen. An der Bügelsohle nicht kratzen und

schaben. Zum Reinigen der Sohle keine scharfen und scheuernden Reini-

gungsmittel verwenden.

9 Self Clean Funktion

Zum Reinigen der Dampfkammer sollte alle zwei Wochen die Selbstreinigung

des Bügeleisens durchgeführt werden. Bei sehr kalkhaltigem Wasser empfehlen

wir eine wöchentliche Reinigung. Dazu Tank bis zur Hälfte befüllen und Bügel-

eisen auf maximale Temperatur aufheizen lassen. Bügeleisen waagerecht über

ein Spülbecken halten, den Dampfschieberegler über die Stellung max. hinaus

in „self clean“-Position schieben und festhalten.

Zunächst setzt starke Dampfbildung ein. Nach einigen Sekunden spült aus-

tretendes Wasser und Dampf Schmutz- und Kalkpartikel aus der Dampfkam-

mer heraus. Dampfschieberegler nach ca. 1 Minute auf Position min. stellen,

Netzstecker ziehen, Bügeleisen vollständig abkühlen lassen und Sohle mit

einem feuchten Tuch abwischen. Netzstecker in eine Steckdose stecken, Bü-

geleisen wieder aufheizen und kurz über einem Spülbecken dampfen lassen.

Durch das Self Clean-Ventil ist ein Verkalken/Verstopfen der Tropföffnung in

die Dampfkammer weitgehend vermieden. Zum Erhalten der Funktionstüch-

tigkeit nach jedem Bügeln das Ventil einige Male öffnen und schließen

(Dampfschieberegler betätigen).

DAS SOLLTEN SIE WISSEN

Nach längeren Standzeiten (z. B. mehrere Wochen) zum Reinigen der Dampf-

wege und um mögliche Rückstände aus dem Eisen zu entfernen, das Gerät vor

dem Bügeln waagerecht halten und ca. 1 Minute dampfen lassen. Auch die

Dampfschußtaste mehrere Male betätigen.

Langzeitentkalkung (Long-Life Anticalc System – je nach Modell)

Ihr Bügeleisen ist mit einem speziellen Entkalkungssystem im Wassertank ausge-

stattet, das es ermöglicht, Leitungswasser beliebiger Härte zum Befüllen des Tanks

zu benutzen. Selbstverständlich kann auch destilliertes Wasser aus Apotheken

oder Drogerien verwendet werden.

Wichtig:

Nach dem Bügeln bitte immer den Wassertank entleeren!

Bitte beachten: Batteriewasser und Wasser mit Zusätzen (wie Stärke, Parfum,

Weichspüler etc.) sind nicht geeignet. Sie können die Dampfeigenschaften beein-

trächtigen und bilden bei hoher Temperatur Rückstände in der Dampfkammer,

die beim Ausfallen durch die Dampfdüsen zu Verunreinigungen des Bügelgutes

führen können. Deshalb das Dampfbügeleisen auch nicht entkalken.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE:

P L'appareil est conforme aux directives 73/23/CEE und 89/336/CEE.

E Courant alternatif seulement. Vérifier que la tension du réseau corresponde

bien à celle indiquée sur la plaque de l'appareil.

E Dans la mesure où votre installation domestique est équipée d'un circuit

protecteur de courant de fuite, il faut s'assurer qu'il s'agit d'un commuta-

teur de protection sensible aux pulsations de courant.

E Un appareil électroménager n'est pas un jouet. L'utiliser hors de la portée

E L'appareil doit être débranché:

– avant de remplir ou de vider le réservoir,

– avant chaque arrêt momentané (même s'il est de courte durée),

– avant chaque nettoyage et entretien,

– aussitôt après utilisation.

E Pour débrancher l'appareil, ne jamais tirer sur le cordon.

E N'utiliser une rallonge que dans la mesure oÙ celle-ci est en parfait état.

E Ne jamais plonger l'appareil dans l'eau!

E Un appareil électroménager ne doit pas être utilisé si:

l'appareil, le cordon ou le passe-fil présentent des anomalies,

– l'appareil a reçu un choc (s'il est tombé par exemple),

– l'appareil fuit.

Dans ce cas, retourner l'appareil à un centre Service agréé ROWENTA

(liste des adresses ci-jointe).

E Les réparations ne doivent être effectuées que par des spécialistes.

Réparer un appareil électroménager soi-même peut constituer un danger

pour l'utilisateur.

E Un cordon défectueux doit exclusivement être changé par un Centre

Service agréé ROWENTA pour éviter tout risque.

E Aucune responsabilité ne peur engager ROWENTA pour d'éventuels

dommages dus à une utilisation non appropriée ou non conforme au

mode d'emploi (se rapporter au paragraphe «CE QUE VOUS DEVEZ

SAVOIR»).

P A la fin de la durée de vie de l'appareil, il y a lieu de l'évacuer de façon

appropriée.

AVANT UTILISATION

Enlever la protection transparente de la semelle.

1 Coupure automatique et électronique à 3 positions (en fonction du modèle)

Une coupure interne de sécurité arrête l'appareil s'il est sur son talon et n'est pas

utilisé pentdant 8 minutes ou au bout de 30 secondes s'il est sur le côté ou la

semelle, et le voyant de la coupure automatique clignote. Donner un coup sec

au fer pour le remettre en marche.

MISE EN SERVICE

Prière de se reporter au paragraphe «CE QUE VOUS DEVEZ SAVOIR».

Lors de la première utilisation, brancher l'appareil, régler le thermostat sur la

position «max» et chauffer l'appareil sans eau, en position droite sur le talon,

pendant 2 minutes. Ceci peut entraîner un léger dégagement de fumée,

absolument normal, qui disparaît rapidement à l'usage.

REPASSAGE VAPEUR

2 Remplir de l'eau

Débrancher l'appareil.

Tourner le curseur de vapeur réglable vers la gauche, jusqu'à la butée

(position «min»), pour fermer la soupape à vapeur.

Faire glisser le couvercle de l'orifice de remplissage d'eau vers le bas.

Tenir le fer dans une position droite, de sorte que l'ouverture de remplissage se

trouve dans une position horizontale. Remplir de l'eau (sans additifs) jusqu'au

repère max. dans l'orifice de remplissage et refermer le couvercle.

Remettre de l'eau dans le réservoir

Débrancher l'appareil.

Tourner le curseur de vapeur réglable vers la gauche, jusqu'à la butée (position

«min»). Remplir de l'eau.

Brancher l'appareil à nouveau et attendre que le voyant de contrôle s'éteigne.

Positionner le curseur de réglage vapeur sur la position désirée.

3 RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE DE REPASSAGE

Régler le bouöton du thermostat selon les symboles internationaux d'entretien

(sur le bouton du thermostat et sur les étiquettes des tissus), ou selon les tissus

que vous voulez repasser.

Trier si nécessaire le linge avant de le repasser.

Avant de repasser des tissus délicats, nous vous recommandons de procéder à

un essai de repassage à un endroit non apparent (intérieur de l'ourlet).

Brancher l'appareil

Brancher l'appareil –␣ le voyant de contrôle s'allume et indique que l'appareil se

met à chauffer. Dès que le voyant s'éteint, la température souhaitée est atteinte et

l'appareil est prêt pour l'utilisation.

4 RÉGLAGE DE LA FONCTION VAPEUR

Positionner le curseur de réglage du débit de vapeur au niveau souhaité.

La vapeur ne peut être produite que si le thermostat est aligné sur la zone rouge

(

● ● ● à max.). N’actionner le curseur de réglage de la vapeur que lorsque la

température de repassage est atteinte (le voyant s’éteint).

Système anti-goutte (en fonction du modèle)

Le nouveau système anti-goutte réduit le débit de vapeur en présence d'une tem-

pérature trop basse, de sorte à empêcher dans une large mesure un égouttement

de la semelle.

Production de la vapeur

En position horizontale, le fer produit automatiquement de la vapeur.

Arrêt de la production de vapeur

La production de vapeur peut être interrompue:

en déposant l'appareil sur le talon,

en réglant le curseur de vapeur réglable vers l'avant jusqu'à la butée.

5 SPRAY

Lorsque le réservoir est rempli d'eau, le linge peut être humecté.

Appuyer sur la touche spray:

lentement = pulvérisation forte

rapidement = pulvérisation fine

6 GRAND SOUFFLE

Pendant le repassage, appuyer fortement sur la touche GRAND SOUFFLE.

Un puissant jet de vapeur traverse alors les fibres du tissu. Il est recommandé

de ne pas appuyer à un rythme trop rapide, soit toutes les 4 secondes environ.

7 Repassage vertical

L'appareil peut également être utilisé en position verticale. Ceci est particulière-

ment pratique pour défroisser des vêtements, des rideaux, des tentures

suspendus, etc.

Attention!

Ne jamais repasser des vêtements sur le corps.

REPASSAGE À SEC

Curseur de vapeur réglable

Tourner le curseur de vapeur réglable vers la gauche, jusqu'à la butée (position

«min»).

APRÈS LE REPASSAGE

Retirer la fiche de la prise. Vider l'eau résiduelle. Régler toujours le curseur de

vapeur réglable sur la position «min» et laisser refroidir l'appareil.

8 Logement cordon intégré

Pour le rangement, le cordon peut être enroulé facilement et sans prendre de

place autour du logement intégré de l'appareil complètement refroidi.

Poser toujours le fer sur son talon en vue de protéger la semelle.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Essuyer de temps en temps l'appareil froid avec un linge légèrement humide,

puis bien l'essuyer.

Se reporter au paragraphe «CE QUE VOUS DEVEZ SAVOIR».

Nettoyage de la semelle du fer à repasser

Pour le nettoyage de la semelle, nous recommandons le lait d'entretien semelle

ROWENTA (no de commande GP-080). Disponible par l'intermédiaire du service

après-vente Rowenta (pour les adresses, se reporter au tableau du service après-

vente).

La semelle de haute qualité de votre fer est douce pour le linge et facilite le

repassage. Pendant les arrêts momentanés en cours de repassage, poser le

fer à la verticale, sur son talon. Ne pas utiliser de supports rugueux. Ne pas

gratter ni racler la semelle. Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs pour nettoyer

la semelle.

9 Fonction Autonettoyage («Self Clean»)

Pour nettoyer la chambre de vapeur, il est recommandé d'effectuer toutes

les deux semaines l'autonettoyage du fer à repasser. Lorsque votre eau est

très calcaire, nous recommandons un nettoyage hebdomadaire. Remplir à

cet effet le réservoir à moitié et faire chauffer le fer à repasser à la température

maximale. Tenir le fer à repasser horintalement au-dessus d'un évier, régler

le curseur de vapeur réglable au-delà de la position max. sur la position

«self clean» et le maintenir dans cette position.

Il y a d'abord un fort dégagement de vapeur. Après quelques secondes, l'eau

et la vapeur sortantes éliminent par rinçage les particules de saletés et de

calcaire de la chambre de vapeur. Relâcher la touche d'autonettoyage après

environ 1 minute, débrancher l'appareil, laisser refroidir complètement le fer

et essuyer la semelle avec un chiffon humide. Brancher de nouveau l'appareil,

faire chauffer le fer et faire évaporer brièvement la vapeur au-dessus d'un évier.

La soupape d'autonettoyage permet d'empêcher dans une large mesure un

dépôt de calcaire ou un bouchage de l'ouverture d'égouttement dans la

chambre de vapeur. Pour maintenir le fonctionnement parfait, ouvrir et fermer

à plusieurs reprises la soupape après chaque repassage (actionner le curseur de

vapeur réglable).

CE QUE VOUS DEVEZ SAVOIR

Après une non-utilisation prolongée (par exemple plusieurs semaines) il est

conseillé de «nettoyer» le circuit de vaporisation pour éliminer les éventuels

résidus du fer, en tenant le fer horizontalement et en laissant la vapeur

s'échapper pendant environ 1 minute, en actionnant plusieurs fois la touche

grand souffle.

Détartrage longue durée (Système «Long-Life Anticalc» – en fonction du

modèle)

Le réservoir d'eau de votre fer à repasser est équipé d'un système de détrartrage

spécial, permettant d'utiliser de l'eau du robinet d'une dureté quelconque pour le

remplissage du réservoir. Vous pourrez naturellement utiliser également de l'eau

distillée achetée dans une pharmacie ou une droguerie.

Important:

Prière de toujours vider le réservoir d'eau après le repassage!

Remarque:

Ne pas utiliser de l'eau de batterie ou de l'eau additionnée d'amidon, de parfum,

d'adoucisseur, etc. Elle peut endommager le système de vaporisation et former en

présence d'une température élevée des résidus dans la chambre de vaporisation,

risquant de tacher votre linge en cas de sortie à travers les orifices vapeur. Ne pas

détartrer non plus le fer à repasser vous-même.

INSTRUÇÕES DE SEGURANÇA

P O aparelho corresponde às directivas 73/23/CEE e 89/336/CEE.

E Ligar o aparelho exclusivamente a corrente alterna, de acordo com a volta-

gem indicada na placa identificadora.

E Se a instalação da casa/apartamento estiver equipada com comutador de

protecção de avarias de corrente, deve certificar-se de que se trata de um

comutador sensivel à corrente de impulso..

E Um aparelho eléctrico não é nenhum brinquedo para crianças. Guardar e

utilizar o aparelho longe do alcance das crianças. Não deixar o cabo do

aparelho pendurado.

E Não deixar o aparelho ligado sem qualquer vigilância.

E Os aparelhos termo-elétricos poderão atingir temperaturas elevadas. Para

pegar no aparelho devem utilizar-se exclusivamente os sitios previstos para

tal e avisar os utilizadores sobre perigos possíveis (por exemplo, saídas de

água quente e vapor) e que deverão ser especialmente levados em consi-

deração quando se trata de ferros que passam na vertical.

Nunca passar a ferro nenhuma peça de roupa depois de vestida para

evitar queimaduras.

E Desligar o aparelho da tomada:

E sempre que encher ou despejar o depósito,

E sempre que sair do local onde está a passar (mesmo que seja por pouco

tempo),

– antes de proceder á limpeza do aparelho

– após a sua utilização.

E Não puxar o cabo para retirar a ficha da tomada.

E Utilizar apenas extensões que não estejam danificadas.

E Não submergir o ferro em água.

E Um electrodoméstico não deverá ser posto a funcionar, quando:

– o mesmo, o cabo ou a protecção do cabo se encontrem danificados

– tiver caído ao chão,

– tiver alguma fuga de àgua evidente.

Nestes casos, enviar o aparelho para os serviços de assistência técnica da

Rowenta a fim de o mesmo ser reparado. Os endereços dos nossos postos

de serviço encontram-se na lista anexa.

E As reparações de aparelhos eléctricos deverão ser efectuadas apenas por

pessoal técnico especializado. Reparações efectuadas por pessoas sem

conhecimentos da especialidade, poderão pôr o utente em grave perigo.

E Quando o cabo estiver danificado, deverá ser substituído apenas pelos

serviços de assistência técnica da Rowenta, para que nenhum utente corra

qualquer perigo.

E Se o aparelho for utilizado para outras finalidades ou se for manejado de

forma incorrecta, não assumimos qualquer responsabilidade pelos danos

que possam ocorrer (Observar a indicação »ISTO VOCÊ DEVERIA SABER«).

P No fim da vida útil do aparelho, este deve tratar-se de acordo com as

normas ecológicas vigentes.

ANTES DE UTILIZAR

Remover a protecção transparente da base do ferro.

1 Dispositivo automático de desligar com três posições (segundo o modelo)

Se o aparelho estiver ligado durante mais de 8 minutos sobre a sua parte traseira

ou mais de 30 segundos de lado ou sobre a base sem ser utilizado, um dispositivo

automático interno desligará imediatamente o aparelho e a luz indicadora de

ferro desligado começará a piscar. Para ligar novamente o ferro este deve ser

movimentado energicamente.

COLOCAÇÃO EM SERVIÇO

Ler atentamente as indicações de »ISTO VOCE DEVERIA SABER«.

Ao utilizar pela primeira vez o aparelho ligue-o à corrente sem água no

depósito, coloque o indicador de temperatura no »máx.«, deixando o ferro

na posição vertical durante 2 minutos. Poderá aparecer um pouco de fumo,

o que é normal, que desaparecerá após algumas utilizações.

PASSAR A VAPOR

2 Encher depósito com água

Retirar a ficha da tomada.

Colocar o regulador de vapor todo para a esquerda para fechar a válvula de

vapor (posição »mín.«).

Empurrar a tampa do orifício de enchimento do depósito para baixo.

Manter o aparelho em posição vertical de forma a que o orificio de enchimen-

to do depósito se encontre na posição horizontal.

Encher o depósito com água (sem aditivos) até á marca „máx“ e fechar o

orifício de abertura com a respectiva tampa.

Voltar a encher de água

Retirar a ficha da tomada.

Colocar o regulador de vapor todo para a esquerda (posição mín.). Voltar a

encher o depósito de água.

Voltar a ligar o aparelho e esperar até que a lâmpada de controle se apague.

Colocar novamente o regulador de vapor na posição desejada.

3 ESCOLHER A TEMPERATURA DE PASSAR

Regulador de temperatura

Regular a temperatura de acordo com os símbolos internationais (temperatura/

etiqueta de lavagem) ou segundo o tipo de tecido.

Ligar o aparelho à corrente eléctrica

Ligar o aparelho - a lâmpada de controle acende-se indicando o aquecimento do

aparelho. Quando a lâmpada de controle se apaga significa que o aparelho atin-

giu a temperatura desejada e que está pronto para funcionar.

4 AJUSTE REGULÁVEL DA FUNÇÃO DE VAPOR

Com o regulador de vapor pode ajustar o volume de vapor desejado. Só se pode

produzir vapor quando o termóstato está na posiçã

● ● ● máx.(zona vermelha).

Deixar o ferro aquecer (luz piloto apaga-se) antes de activar a função regulável de

saída de vapor.

Sistema anti-drip (segundo o modelo)

O novo sistema anti-drip reduz o volume de vapor quando a temperatura está

baixa. Este novo sistema impede ao máximo o gotejamento da base.

O aparelho está pronto para passar com vapor

O aparelho começa a gerar vapor quando se encontra na horizontal.

Fechar a saída de vapor

A formação de vapor pode ser interrompida:

quando se coloca o ferro no descanso

quando o regulador de vapor é colocado todo para a esquerda (posição min.).

5 FUNÇÃO SPRAY

A partir do momento em que a água se encontra no depósito a roupa pode

começar a ser pulverizada.

Apertar o botão de spray

devagar = jacto de spray

rápido e forte = nevoeiro de spray.

6 PASSAR COM JACTOS DE VAPOR

Quando estiver a passar a ferro deve apertar a tecla de vapor. Um jacto forte de

vapor penetra profundamente no tecido. O intervalo entre os golpes de vapor

deverá ser de 4 segundos.

7 Jacto vertical do vapor

O aparelho pode ser usado na posição vertical. Esta posição é especialmente

indicada para tirar as dobras de roupas que estão penduradas , tapeçarias de

parede, etc.

Atenção!

Nunca passar a roupa que está vestida!

PASSAR A SECO

Colocar o regulador de vapor todo à esquerda (posição mín.).

APÓS A PASSAGEM A FERRO

i Desligar o aparelho. Retirar toda a àgua do depósito. Deixar arrefecer o aparelho

colocando o regulador da temperatura no minimo.

8 Enrolamento de cabo integrado

Ferro com enrolamento

Com o aparelho completamente frio enrolar o cabo adutor no local indicado

para esse efeito.

Para proteger a base colocar sempre o aparelho na sua parte traseira.

LIMPEZA E CUIDADO

Limpar o aparelho com um pano húmido quando este estiver frio.

Ler atentamente as indicações em »ISTO VOCE DEVERIA SABER«.

Limpeza da base

Para limpar a base aconselhamos o uso de um produto para limpeza de aço

inoxidável (Nº de encomenda GP-0800), à sua disposição nos serviços técnicos de

assistência da Rowenta (Endereço: vide lista de serviços de Assistência técnica).

A base do ferro, de primeira qualidade, constitui uma garantia de cuidados

da roupa e favorece uma passagem mais agradável. Nas pausas, deve, por isso

mesmo, colocar o aparelho em sua parte traseira. Nunca utilizar superfícies

ásperas. Nunca raspar ou rapar a base. Para limpar nunca utilizar objectos

ponteagudos ou detergentes cáusticos.

9 Função de auto-limpeza »Self Clean«

Para limpar a câmara de vapor, deveria ser feita uma auto-limpeza do ferro de

duas em duas semanas. Quando é usada água muito calcária, aconselhamos

uma limpeza semanal. Encher o depósito até meio e aquecer o ferro até ao

máximo de temperatura. Manter o ferro horizontalmente sobre uma banca,

empurrar o regulador de vapor até à posição „self clean“ ,pressionar a respec-

tiva tecla e manter nessa posição.

Primeiro forma-se um vapor bem forte. Após alguns segundos, a água e o

vapor que saem limpam as partículas de sujidade e de calcário. Soltar a tecla

self-clean após aproximadamente 1 minuto. Retirar a ficha da tomada. Deixar

o ferro arrefecer completamente e limpar a base com um pano molhado.

Recolocar a ficha na tomada. Voltar a aquecer o ferro e deixar o vapor sair.

A calcificação/entupimento das saídas de vapor na câmara de vapor é larga-

mente evitado devido à existência da válvula de »Self-Clean« (auto-limpeza).

Para manter a capacidade funcional de cada vez que passar a ferro, abrir e

fechar várias vezes a válvula (acciona o regulador de vapor).

ISTO VOCE DEVERIA SABER

Quando o ferro é mantido por muito tempo parado (por exemplo, durante

várias semanas) deve manter se o ferro na posição horizontal durante aprox.

1 minuto para escoar o vapor na totalidade e eliminar todos os resíduos do

ferro. Accionar várias vezes a tecla de jactos de vapor.

Descalcificação a longo prazo (Long-Life Anticalc System – segundo o modelo)

O seu ferro está equipado com um sistema especial de descalcificação que possi-

bilita utilizar água de canalização de qualquer tipo de dureza . Evidentemente,

pode utilizar-se também água destilada vendida em farmácias ou drogarias.

Importante:

Após passar a ferro retirar sempre toda a àgua do depósito.

Atenção!:

Não é apropriada água de baterias ou com aditivos (por exemplo, amido,

perfumes, agentes de enbranquecimento etc...). Estes aditivos podem prejudicar

as propriedades do vapor e, em caso de temperaturas elevadas, formar resíduos

na câmara de vapor que, em caso de falha de funcionamento das saídas de

vapor, poderão provocar sujidade na roupa. Por isto mesmo não se deve

descalcificar o ferro.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Descripción del aparato, véase fig. p. 3:

P El aparato cumple las normativas CE 73/23/CEE y 89/336/CEE.

E Conectar la plancha únicamente a corriente alterna y comprobar que la

tensión de la red corresponde a la indicada en la placa de características

del aparato.

E En caso de que la instalación de su casa / vivienda esté equipada con un

interruptor de protección por corriente de defecto, hay que asegurarse de

que se trata de un interruptor de protección sensible a la corriente por

impulsos.

E El electrodoméstico no es un juguete. Por ello, utilizar y guardar la plancha

fuera del alcance de los niños. No dejar que el cable de conexión quede

colgando.

E No deje de vigilar el aparato mientras esté conectado a la red.

E Los aparatos eléctricos basados en el calor alcanzan temperaturas eleva-

das. Por esta razón, utilice únicamente las asas existentes y advierta a los

demás usuarios de los posibles peligros (p.ej. emanaciones de agua

caliente o vapores; particularmente importante para el planchado vertical).

(¡No planche nunca prendas directamente en el cuerpo!)

E Desconecte la plancha:

– al llenar o vaciar el depósito del aparato,

– al ausentarse de la habitación (aunque sea por un espacio de tiempo

breve),

– antes de cada limpieza y mantenimiento,

– después de cada uso.

E No extraiga nunca la clavija de enchufe tirando del cable.

E Utilizar únicamente cables de prolongación adecuados y en buen estado.

E No sumergir el aparato en el agua.

E No utilice la plancha si:

– el aparato, la conexión a red o el protector del cable están deteriorados,

– se ha caído al suelo,

– se aprecian fugas.

En este caso, enviar la plancha a un centro de servicio ROWENTA (las

direcciones de los centros técnicos las puede encontrar en la guía de

direcciones adjunta).

E Las reparaciones de electrodomésticos deben ser efectuadas sólo por per-

sonal cualificado. Las reparaciones no cualificadas pueden llegar a originar

serios peligros para el usuario.

E Un cable defectuoso o deteriorado debe ser sustituido tan sólo por el

1 Desconexión electrónica de 3 posiciones (según modelo)

Si la plancha está conectada y no se moviera durante 8 minutos al estar colocada

sobre su talón o durante 30 segundos al estar colocada sobre un lado o sobre la

suela, un circuito de seguridad interno la desconecta automáticamente y se

enciende intermitentemente el indicador de la desconexión automática. Para

volver a conectar la plancha, agítela enérgicamente.

PUESTA EN SERVICIO

Observe las indicaciones que figuran en »LO QUE USTED DEBERÍA SABER«.

En la primera puesta en servicio, conectar la clavija a la red, girar el termostato

hasta la señal »máx« y dejar calentar la plancha durante 2 minutos sin agua

en posición vertical. Puede presentarse una ligera formación de humo. Este

proceso es totalmente normal y desaparece al cabo de poco tiempo.

PLANCHADO CON VAPOR

2 Llenar de agua

Desenchufar la plancha.

Deslizar el regulador de salida de vapor hacia la izquierda hasta llegar al tope

para cerrar la válvula de vapor (Posición »mín«).

Deslizar hacia abajo la tapa de la abertura de llenado con agua.

Mantener la plancha en posición vertical, de modo que el orificio de llenado

de agua permanezca horizontal.

Verter agua (sin aditivos) hasta la marca máxima en el orificio de llenado y

cerrar otra vez la tapa.

Rellenar con agua

Desenchufar la plancha.

Deslizar el regulador de salida de vapor hacia la izquierda hasta llegar al tope

(Posición »mín«). Introducir agua.

Conectar el aparato a la red y esperar a que se apague el piloto. Volver el

regulador de salida de vapor al punto que corresponde a la intensidad de

vapor deseada.

3 SELECCIONAR TEMPERATURA DE PLANCHADO

Ajustar el termostato según los símbolos internacionales de puntos (botón

regulador / etiqueta en las prendas) o según la clase de tejido.

En su caso, clasificar previamente la ropa a planchar según el tipo de tejido.

En los tejidos sensibles recomendamos hacer una prueba de planchado en un

lugar invisible (interior del dobladillo), antes de plancharlos.

Enchufar la plancha

Conectar la clavija a un enchufe; la luz piloto se enciende e indica la fase de

calentamiento. Cuando se apague la luz piloto, se ha alcanzado la temperatura

seleccionada y el aparato está listo para empezar a planchar.

4 AJUSTE DE LA FUNCIÓN DE VAPOR REGULABLE

Con el regulador de salida de vapor se puede ajustar el volumen de vapor

deseado. Sólo es posible producir vapor si la temperatura de planchado se sitúa

en la zona roja (entre

● ● ● y máx.). Accionar el regulador de salida de vapor tan

sólo cuando se haya alcanzado la temperatura de planchado (el piloto se apaga).

Sistema Antigoteo (según modelo)

El nuevo sistema Antigoteo reduce la cantidad de vapor cuando la temperatura es

insuficiente, a fin de evitar que la suela gotee.

Aparato listo para planchar con vapor

La generación de vapor se inicia cuando el aparato se encuentra en posición hori-

zontal.

Interrupción del vapor

Puede ser interrumpida la generación de vapor

colocando la plancha verticalmente, apoyada en su talón.

deslizando el regulador de la salida de vapor hacia la izquierda hasta llegar al

tope.

5 FUNCIÓN SPRAY

Es posible humedecer la ropa a planchar con el spray si hay agua en el depósito.

Presionar el pulsador spray:

lentamente = chorro

rápida e intensamente = neblina

6 GOLPE DE VAPOR

Presionar con firmeza el pulsador de golpe de vapor mientras se esté planchando.

Un vigoroso chorro de vapor penetra profundamente en el tejido. El intervalo

entre los golpes de vapor debería ser de, al menos, cuatro segundos.

7 Planchado vertical

El aparato puede ser utilizad2o igualmente en posición vertical. Esto se recomien-

da particularmente para alisar prendas colgadas, cortinas, tapices, etc.

¡Atención!

No deben plancharse nunca prendas mientras se lleven puestas.

PLANCHADO EN SECO

Deslizar el regulador de salida de vapor hacia la izquierda hasta llegar al tope

(Posición »mín«).

DESPUÉS DE PLANCHAR

Desenchufar la plancha. Verter el agua residual. Colocar siempre el regulador de

la salida de vapor al MÍN y dejar que el aparato se enfríe.

8 Enrollacables integrado

Para guardar la plancha, se puede enrollar el cable cómodamente en el enro-

llacables integrado, una vez que el aparato esté totalmente frío.

Para la protección de la suela, colocar el aparato siempre sobre su talón.

LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADOS

Cuando sea necesario, limpiar la plancha una vez fría con un paño húmedo y

secarla a continuación.

Observe las instrucciones del apartado »LO QUE USTED DEBERÍA SABER«.

Limpieza de la suela

Para la limpieza de suelas de acero inoxidable, recomendamos el producto de

limpieza especial para acero inoxidable (Nº GP-0800). Puede obtenerse a través

del servicio de asistencia al cliente de Rowenta (para direcciones, ver la lista de

servicios técnicos).

La suela, de alta calidad, no daña la ropa y proporciona un planchado

cómodo y fácil. Para protegerla, colocar el aparato siempre sobre su talón

mientras no lo esté utilizando. No colocar la plancha sobre superficies ásperas.

No rascar la superficie. No emplear ningún producto agresivo ni abrasivo para

la limpieza de la suela.

9 Función de autolimpieza (Self Clean)

Para limpiar la cámara de vapor, debería llevarse a cabo la función de autolim-

pieza cada dos semanas. En caso de agua con alto contenido en cal, recomen-

damos incluso una limpieza semanal. A tal efecto, llenar el depósito hasta la

mitad y dejar calentar la plancha a la temperatura máxima. Mantener la

plancha horizontal sobre el lavabo o un recipiente, deslizar el regulador

deslizante de vapor más allá de la posición máx. a la posición »Self Clean« y

sujetarla.

En un primer momento, se genera mucho vapor. Al cabo de unos segundos,

el agua y el vapor que salen arrastran las partículas de suciedad y de cal de la

cámara de vapor. Soltar la tecla Self-Clean al cabo de aprox. 1 minuto, retirar

la clavija de la red, dejar enfriar la plancha por completo y frotar la suela con

un paño húmedo. Conectar la clavija de red a una caja de enchufe, calentar

nuevamente la plancha y colocarla durante un momento sobre el lavabo o un

recipiente para liberar el vapor.

Gracias a la función de autolimpieza, se evita en gran medida una calcifica-

ción/obstrucción en el orificio de goteo que va hacia la cámara de vapor.

Para mantener el buen rendimiento de dicha función, es recomendable abrir

y cerrar sucesivamente dicha válvula unas cuantas veces, después de cada

planchado (activando el regulador de la salida de vapor).

LO QUE USTED DEBERÍA SABER

Si el aparato no ha sido utilizado durante un período prolongado (p.ej. varias

semanas), antes de planchar mantenerlo en posición vertical y dejar salir va-

por durante aprox. 1 minuto para limpiar los conductos de vapor y eliminar

eventuales residuos de la plancha. Accionar también repetidamente el pulsa-

dor de golpe de vapor.

Sistema antical de larga duración (Long-Life Anticalc System – según modelo)

Su plancha está equipada con un sistema de descalcificación especial en el

depósito de agua, que permite utilizar agua del grifo de cualquier dureza para

llenar el depósito.

Importante:

¡Después de planchar, por favor, vaciar siempre el depósito de agua!

Por favor, observar:

No son aptas el agua para baterías ni el agua con aditivos (tales como almidón,

perfume, suavizante, etc.), ya que podrían perjudicar el rendimiento del vapor y,

en caso de elevadas temperaturas, formar residuos en la cámara de vapor que

pueden ensuciar las prendas al salir por los orificios de vapor. Por la misma razón,

tampoco se ha de descalcificar la plancha de vapor.

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA:

P L'apparecchio è conforme alle norme 73/23/CEE e 89/336/CEE.

E Collegare il ferro da stiro solo a corrente alternata con tensione pari a

quella indicata sulla targhetta dei dati tecnici dell'apparecchio.

E Qualora l'impianto della vostra abitazione fosse dotato di un commutatore

di corrente alternata, dovete assicurarvi che sia sensibile alle corrente ad

impulsi.

E Un elettrodomestico non è un giocattolo. Per tale ragione impiegare e

riporre l'apparecchio in luoghi non accessibili ai bambini. Non lasciar

penzolare il cavo elettrico di collegamento.

E Non lasciar incustodito l'apparecchio mentre è collegato alla rete elettrica.

E Gli apparecchi elettrodomestici si riscaldano o producono alte tempera-

ture. Per questo si raccomanda di usare solo le impugnature e di richiama-

re l'attenzione anche degli altri sui possibili pericoli (ad es. fuoriuscita di

acqua bollente o vapore, piastra rovente; far particolare attenzione durante

la stiratura verticale).

Non stirare mai indumenti indossati sul corpo e nemmeno spruzzare

vapore su di essi!

E Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente:

– prima di procedere al riempimento o svuotamento del serbatoio;

– prima di lasciare la stanza anche per breve tempo;

– prima di ogni operazione di pulizia o manutenzione;

– dopo l'uso.

E Non staccare la spina dalla presa tirando il cavo.

E Usare prolunghe solo se in perfetto stato.

E Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua!

E Non mettere mai in funzione qualora:

–

l'appecchio, il cavo di collegamento oppure il salvacavo fossero danneggiati;

– l'apparecchio dovesse essere caduto;

– l'apparecchio dovesse perdere acqua.

In uno dei casi di cui sopra, inviare l'apparecchio ad un centro di assistenza

Rowenta (vedi allegato elenco indirizzi).

E Le riparazioni di apparecchi elettrici devono in ogni caso essere eseguite

da tecnici specializzati. Riparazioni imperfette costituiscono fonte di gravi

pericoli per l'utente.

E Allo scopo di evitare pericoli, un cavo di collegamento difettoso o dan-

neggiato deve essere sostituito solo da un centro di assistenza Rowenta.

E Non viene assunta responsabilità alcuna in caso di danni risultanti da un

suo dell'apparecchio non appropriato oppure non conforme alle istruzioni

d'uso (v. capitolo »COSE UTILI DA SAPERE«).

P Quando l'apparecchio non è più utilizzabile si deve provvedere al suo

corretto smaltimento.

1 Disinserimento automatico su 3 posizioni (a seconda del modello)

Se il ferro da stiro acceso non venisse mosso per 8 minuti mentre è appoggiato in

posizione verticale oppure per 30 secondi se collocato su un fianco o sulla piastra,

il dispositivo automatico di sicurezza interno lo spegnerà e si accenderà la lampa-

da spia del dispositivo automatico di disinserimento. Per rimettere in funzione il

ferro dovete solo muoverlo di scatto.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE

Seguire le istruzioni date al capitolo »COSE UTILI DA SAPERE«

Alla prima messa in funzione si deve inserire la spina in una presa di corrente,

girare su »max« il regolatore della temperatura e riscaldare per 2 minuti, senza

acqua, il ferro da stiro in posizione verticale. Ciò può provocare la formazione

di un fumo leggero. Ma ciò è del tutto normale e sparirà dopo un breve uso.

STIRATURA A VAPORE

2 Riempire con acqua

Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Spostare il regolatore del vapore a cursore verso sinistra fino contro la battuta

(posizione »min«), per chiudere la valvola del vapore.

Spingere in giù la copertura dell'apertura per il riempimento dell'acqua.

Tenere il ferro diritto, così che l'apertura per il riempimento dell'acqua sia

orizzontale. Immettere acqua (senza additivi) nell'apertura fino al segno max

e poi richiudere la copertura.

Aggiungere acqua

Togliere la spina dalla presa della corrente.

Spostare il regolatore del vapore a cursore verso sinistra fino contro la battuta

(posizione »min«). Riempire con acqua.

Inserire di nuovo la spina nella presa di corrente ed attendere fino che la

lampada spia si spegne. Spostare di nuovo il regolatore a cursore e selezionare

l'intensità del vapore desiderata.

3 SELEZIONARE LA TEMPERATURA DI STIRATURA

Azionare la manopola di regolazione attenendosi o ai simboli internazionali a

punti (Manopola di regolazione/Etichetta indumenti) o al tipo di tessuto.

Se necessario dividere i capi da stirare secondo i vari tessuti.

Prima di stirare tessuti delicati si raccomanda di eseguire una prova di stiratura

in una parte non visibile (ad es. su un orlo interno).

Collegare il ferro da stiro alla presa di corrente

Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente – la lampada spia si accende e indica

l'inizio della fase di riscaldamento. Quando questa spia si spegne, vuol dire che la

temperatura preimpostata à stata raggiunta. Adesso il ferro da stiro à pronto.

4 IMPOSTARE LA FUNZIONE DEL VAPORE REGOLABILE

La quantità di vapore desiderata può essere impostata con il regolatore del vapore

a cursore. Il vapore può essere prodotto solo quando la temperatura di stiratura è

in campo rosso (

● ● ● fino max.). Azionare il regolatore del vapore a cursore solo

dopo che è stata raggiunta la temperatura di stiratura. (La spia si spegne.)

Sistema Anti-Drip (a seconda del modello)

Grazie al nuovo sistema antigocciolamento (Anti-Drip), se la temperatura è trop-

po bassa la quantitè di vapore si riduce ed in questa maniera viene quasi eliminato

il gocciolamento della piastra.

Il ferro da stiro è pronto per la stiratura a vapore

Portando il ferro in posizione orizzontale comincia la produzione di vapore.

Arresto del vapore

Si può interrompere la produzione di vapore:

appoggiando il ferro sulla sua parte posteriore o,

spostando in avanti fino contro la battuta il regolatore del vapore a cursore.

5 DISPOSITIVO SPRAY

Quando c'è acqua nel serbatoio, si può anche spruzzare la biancheria.

Premere il pulsante spray:

lentamente = spruzzo denso

veloce ed energico = spruzzo nebulizzato

6 SUPERVAPORE

Durante la stiratura premere forte il pulsante Supervapore che sprigiona una

nube di vapore con forte azione penetrante sul capo da stirare. Attendere almeno

4 secondi fra un azionamento del pulsante e l'altro.

7 Colpo di vapore verticale

Il ferro da stiro può essere impiegato anche in posizione verticale. Ciò è

praticissimo per eliminare grinze e spiegazzature da capi di vestiario, tende,

stoffe di decorazione ecc. appesi.

Attenzione!

Non stirare mai indumenti indossati sul corpo!

STIRATURA A SECCO

Spostare il regolatore del vapore a cursore verso sinistra fino contro la battuta

(posizione »min«).

DOPO LA STIRATURA

Togliere la spina dalla presa. Scaricare l'acqua residua. Portare il regolatore del

vapore a cursore sempre sul »min« e lasciare che il ferro si raffreddi.

8 Avvolgicavo integrato

Per riporre in modo comodo e risparmiare spazio, il cavo può essere avvolto

sull'avvolgicavo incorporato del ferro da stiro completamente raffreddato.

Per proteggere la piastra mettere il ferro da stiro sempre in posizione verticale.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

Pulite il ferro da stiro raffreddato usando un panno umido e passandolo

successivamente con un panno asciutto.

Seguire le istruzioni riportate nel capitolo »COSE UTILI DA SAPERE«.

Pulizia della piastra

Per la pulizia della piastra in acciaio inox, si raccomanda l'impiego del prodotto

apposito per pulire l'acciaio inox (codice di ordinazione GP-0800), che è reperibile

presso i centri assistenza Rowenta (vedi specchietto indirizzi).

La piastra di alta qualità del ferro da stiro tratta con cura la biancheria e rende

più agevole la stiratura. Durante le pause di stiratura, quindi, mettere il ferro

da stiro in posizione verticale. Non metterlo su supporti ruvidi. Non graffiare

o raschiare la piastra e per pulirla non utilizzare prodotti corrosivi o abrasivi.

9 Funzione Self Clean (autopulizia)

Per la pulizia della camera di produzione del vapore si raccomanda di effettua-

re ogni due settimane un'autopulizia del ferro da stiro. Usando acqua conte-

nente molto calcare consigliamo una pulizia settimanale. A questo fine, si deve

riempire il serbatoio fino al livello intermedio, poi lasciare che il ferro da stiro si

riscaldi fino alla massima temperatura. Tenere poi il ferro da stiro in posizione

orizzontale sopra il lavello e spingere il regolatore a corsoio del vapore oltre la

posizione »max« in posizione »self clean« e tenervelo.

Dapprima si forma un forte vapore. Dopo pochi secondi l'acqua ed il vapore

che fuoriescono dalla camera di produzione del vapore asportano anche

particelle di sporco e di calcare. Abbandonare il pulsante Self Clean dopo circa

1 minuto, estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente, lasciare che il ferro da stiro si

raffreddi completamente e poi pulire la piastra con un panno umido. Mettere

la spina nella presa di corrente, lasciare che il ferro da stiro si riscaldi e poi far

fuoriuscire brevemente del vapore sopra il lavandino.

Grazie alla valvola Self Clean viene quasi escluso che l'apertura di gocciolamen-

to venga otturata da particelle di calcare o di sporco. E per mantenerne il pie-

no funzionamento si raccomanda, dopo ogni operazione di stiratura, di aprire

e chiudere la valvola alcune volte (azionare il regolatore del vapore a cursore).

COSE UTILI DA SAPERE

Prima di riutilizzare il ferro da stiro rimasto inattivo per molto tempo (ad es.

dopo parecchie settimane), tenerlo in posizione orizzontale ed azionare per

ca. 1 minuto il pulsante di erogazione del vapore. Premere più volte anche il

pulsante Supervapore.

Sistema anticalcare duraturo (Long-Life Anticalc System – a seconda del modello)

Il vostro ferro da stiro è dotato di uno speciale sistema anticalcare nel serbatoio

dell'acqua, il quale permette di usare acqua del rubinetto di qualsiasi durezza per

riempire il serbatoio. Naturalmente si può usare anche acqua distillata, che si può

acquistare nelle farmacie o nelle drogherie.

Importante:

Terminato di stirare si raccomanda di svuotare il serbatoio dell'acqua!

Si prega di osservare:

Non è però idonea acqua per batterie ed acqua contenente additivi (come

appretto, profumo, detergenti ammorbidenti ecc.). Essi, infatti, alterano le

caratteristiche del vapore e alla presenza di elevate temperature provocano il

deposito di residui nella camera di produzione del vapore, che possono eventual-

mente fuoriuscire dai fori di erogazione vapore e macchiare o danneggiare la bian-

cheria. Per la medesima ragione non è consigliabile decalcificare il ferro da stiro.

ПЕРЕД ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ:

снять с подошвы прозрачный защитный экран

1 злектронное автоматическое отключение в 3-х положениях

(в зависимости от модели)

Если включённый прибор более 8 минут стоит на пяте-опоре или в

течение 30 секунд без движения стоит на подошве или лежит на боку, то

внутренняя система безопасности отключит прибор и замигает индикатор

автоматического отключения.

Для повторного включения утюга его нужно встряхнуть.

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ ПРИБОРА

Пожалуйста, соблюдайте указания раздела «ЭТО ВЫ ДОЛЖНЫ

ЗНАТЬ».

При первом использовании вставьте штепсель в розетку, установите

терморегулятор в максимальное положение и нагревайте прибор,

поставив его на пяту, без воды в течении 2-х минут. При этом может

появиться дым или запах.

Это абсолютно нормальное явление, которое вскоре исчезнет.

ГЛАЖЕНИЕ С ПАРОМ

2 Залить воду

Извлечь штепсель из розетки.

Регулятор количества пара установить влево до упора, чтобы

закрыть клапан пара (Позиция “min“).

Защитную крышку отверстия для заливки воды сдвинуть вниз.

Прибор установить в вертикальное положение, так чтобы отверстие

для заливки было в горизонтальном положении.

Воду (без добавок) залить в отверстие до отметки максимального

уровня и вновь закрыть защитную крышку.

Долив воды

Извлечь штепсель из розетки.

Регулятор количества пара установить влево до упора (Позиция “min“).

Залить воду .

Прибор включить в сеть и подождать, пока погаснет лампочка.

Регулятор количества пара вновь установить в желаемое положение.

3 ВЫБОР TEMПEPATУPЫ ГЛAЖEHИЯ

Регулятор температуры установить по международным точечным

символам (ручка регулятора/этикетка на белье) или в зависимости от

рода материала.

Бельё, подлежащее глажению, при необходимости предварительно

подвергнуть сортировке.

При глажении деликатных материалов мы рекомендуем произвести

пробное глажение в одном из мест, которые не так заметны

(внутренняя сторона каймы).

Подключить прибор к сети

Штепсель вставить в розетку – загорится контрольная лампочка, это

означает, что утюг нагревается. Как только контрольная лампочка

погаснет, установленная температура достигнута и прибор готов к

эксплуатации.

4 УCTAHOBKА ФУHKЦNN РЕГУЛИРОВAHNЯ ПАРА

С помощью регулятора пара можно устанавливать желаемое количество

пара. Парообразование возможно только в том случае, когда термостат

установлен в красном диапазоне (на отметке

● ● ● или макс.) Регулятор

пара следует устанавливать после того, как утюг нагреется (лампочка

погаснет).

Противокапельная система (в зависимости от модели)

Благодаря новой противокапельной системе количество пара при слишком

низкой температуре снижается, так что протекание воды из подошвы в

значительной мере предотвращается.

Прибор готов к глажению с паром

Если установить утюг в горизонтальное положение, начнется процесс

образования пара.

Прекращение парообразования

Выработка пара прекращается :

если прибор установлен на пяту,

если регулятор количества пара перемещен влево до упора.

5 ФОРСУНКА РАСПЫЛЕНИЯ

Если в резервуар залита вода, можно использовать функцию

распыления для смачивания белья.

Нажать клавишу распыления :

медленно = струя

быстро и сильно = распыление

6 ВЫБРОС ПАРА

При глажении резко нажать на клавишу дополнительного пара.

Интенсивная струя пара проникает в ткань. Промежуток между

выбросами пара должен составлять не менее четырёх секунд.

7 Вертикальный выброс пара

Прибором можно пользоваться также и в вертикальном положении.

Это особенно удобно для удаления складок развешанной одежды,

занавесов, настенных покрытий и т.д.

Внимание !

Никогда не обрабатывайте одежду на теле.

Регулятор количества пара установить влево до упора (Позиция “min“).

ПОСЛЕ ГЛАЖЕНИЯ

Штепсель извлечь из розетки. Оставшуюся воду слить.

Регулятор количества пара установить на минимум и дать прибору

охладиться.

8 Встроенное устройство намотки шнура

Для хранения сетевой шнур с целью экономии места смотать во

встроенное устройство намотки кабеля полностью охлаждённого

прибора.

Для защиты подошвы прибор всегда ставить на пяту-опору.

ОЧИСТКА И УХОД

Охлажденный прибор при необходимости протереть влажной тряпкой

и вытереть насухо.

Пожалуйста, соблюдайте указания раздела «ЭТО ВЫ ДОЛЖНЫ

ЗНАТЬ».

Очистка подошвы утюга

Для очистки подошвы утюга мы рекомендуем средство для ухода за

высококачественной сталью (№ для заказа GP 0800). Его можно

получить в сервисной службе фирмы Ровента (адреса указаны в

прилагаемом списке).

Подошва утюга из высококачественного материала не повреждает

бельё и обеспечивает легкое глажение. Поэтому прибор в перерывах в

процессе глажения рекомендуется ставить на пяту. Не использовать

никаких шероховатых подставок. Подошву утюга не царапать и не

скоблить. Для очистки не использовать никакие едкие или

абразивные чистящие средства.

9 Функция самоочистки (Self Clean)

Для очистки паровой камеры через две недели следует производить

самоочистку утюга. При очень высоком содержании извести в воде

мы рекомендуем еженедельную очистку. Для этого резервуар

наполнить до половины и дать утюгу разогреться до максимальной

температуры. Утюг поместить в горизонтальном положении над

умывальником, регулятор пара переместить через положение max. в

позицию самоочистки Self clean и удерживать в таком положении.

Сначала начнется сильное парообразование. Через несколько секунд

выходящая вода начнет промывать частицы грязи и извести из

паровой камеры. Примерно через 1 минуту клавишу самоочистки

отпустить, извлечь штепсель из розетки, дать утюгу полностью

охладиться и протереть подошву влажным платком. Штепсель

вставить в розетку, утюг снова разогреть и коротко выпустить пар

над умывальником.

Посредством клапана самоочистки в значительной степени

предотвращается загрязнение известью путей пара/закупорка

отверстий в паровой камере. Для поддержания работоспособности

после каждого глажения клапан несколько раз рекомендуется

открывать и закрыть (приведение в действие регулятора количества

пара).

ЭТО ВЫ ДОЛЖНЫ ЗНАТЬ

После длительных перерывов в использовании (напр. несколько

недель) для очистки путей пара и удаления возможных отложений из

утюга, прибор установить перед глажением в горизонтальное

положение и в течение около 1 минуты выпускать пар. Также

рекомендуется несколько раз нажать клавишу дополнительного пара.

Долговечная система удаления накипи – (в зависимости от модели)

Ваш утюг оснащён специальной системой удаления накипи в резервуаре

для воды, которая позволяет использовать для заправки резервуара

водопроводную воду любой жёсткости.

Само собой разумеется, можно также использовать дестилированную

воду из аптек и аптекарских магазинов

Важно:

После глажения всегда сливать воду из резервуара для воды!

Пожалуйста, обратите внимание:

Батарейная вода и вода с добавками (такими как крахмал, духи, средства

для смягчения тканей) является непригодной. Такая вода может ухудшать

свойства пара и при высоких температурах в паровой камере

образовывать отложения, которые при выпадении из паровых

отверстий могут привести к загрязнению материала, подлежащего

глажению. Поэтому удалять накипь в утюге не нужно.
