El Akiyama Sirion es un controlador MIDI para DJ que permite mezclar música utilizando un software de mezcla de música en un ordenador. Posee controles para ajustar el volumen, los ecualizadores, cargar pistas, reproducirlas, pausarlas y hacer bucles. También tiene controles para aplicar efectos, ajustar el tono y el tempo, y crear puntos de referencia. Además, cuenta con botones para controlar el vídeo y un crossfader para mezclar el audio y el vídeo.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD E INFORMACIÓN DE LA GARANTÍA

1. Lea detenidamente este manual antes de utilizar su equipo.
2. Mantenga el manual a su disposición para su uso en el futuro.
3. Siga las advertencias que se le proporcionan en este manual.
4. Siga las instrucciones consignadas en este manual,

5. Agua y humedad. No utilice el equipo cerca del agua o en lugares
muy húmedos (fregadero, lavadora, etc.) para evitar riesgos de
descargaeléctricaofuego.
6.Transporte del equipo. Transporte el equipo con mucho cuidado. Los
golpes o las vibraciones fuertes pueden dañarlo mecánicamente.
7. Fuentes de calor. Tenga cuidado de no colocar el equipo cerca de
fuentes de calor (Ej. Radiadores, estufas, mplificadores)
8. Líquidos y objetos extraños. En caso de que algún fluido o pequeñas
partículas sólidas sean derramadas sobre el aparato y se introduzcan en
los circuitos apague el aparato y llévelo a su distribuidor.
9. Daños en el quipo que precisen reparación. El equipo deberá ser
reparado o revisado por personal cualificado en caso de:
A. Objetos o líquidos se han introducido en el equipo.
B. El aparato ha sido expuesto a la lluvia.
C. El equipo no parece funcionar o lo hace de modo poco usual.
D. E aparato ha caído al suelo o presenta deterioros en su caja
exterior.
10. Mantenimiento. Según marcan las directivas Europeas no está
permitido realizar ninguna modificación al aparato. No abra el equipo
para labores de mantenimiento pues en este aparato no hay piezas que
necesiten manutención. En caso de que abriendo el equipo sea éste
dañado o lo sea la persona que lo manipula la empresa no tomará
ninguna responsabilidad por este servicio de mantenimiento no
autorizado.Además en este caso la garantía perdería su vigencia.
11. Ventilación. Tenga siempre en cuenta que colocar el aparato en un
lugar sin ventilación puede producir un sobrecalentamiento de éste.
12. Nunca utilice accesorios o modificaciones no autorizados por el
fabricante. Ello puede afectar la seguridad del aparato y el fabricante
no tendrá ninguna responsabilidad en este caso.
13. Accesorios. No deposite o instale el equipo sobre superficies o
estructuras inestables. El aparato podría precipitarse y causar lesiones
a las personas en las proximidades de éste. Cualquier montaje o
instalación del equipo deberá ser realizado siguiendo las
instrucciones o recomendaciones dadas en este manual o por el
fabricante directamente.
14. Precaución durante tormentas. Durante una tormenta desconecte
el equipo de la red para evitar que los posibles picos de corriente
dañen el equipo.
15. Durante cualquier manipulación del equipo, para mantener todas
las cualidades de éste tanto en prestaciones como en seguridad para el
operante es necesario utilizar sólo recambios originales.
Consecuentemente asegúrese de que la empresa que realice el
mantenimiento esté autorizada por el fabricante o importador.
16. Utilice solo cables conforme a la regulación vigente. Pregunte a
su distribuidor al respecto del particular.
17. No utilice su equipo inmediatamente en caso de haberlo
trasladado súbitamente de un ambiente muy frío a un ambiente
caliente.
18. Limpieza. Nunca utilice sprays de limpieza en la zona del equipo
donde están los controles (botones, faders, conectores, etc.). Utilice
un trapo.
19. Audio ON. Cuando termine de instalar el equipo y esté listo para
comenzar a reproducir música asegúrese antes de situar el control de
volumen tanto general como de auriculares al mínimo.
20. Comprobación de seguridad. Una vez realizada una reparación o
servicio del equipo pida al personal cualificado que realice una
comprobación para asegurarse de que el equipo le es devuelto en
perfectas condiciones de uso.
Este equipo ha sido concebido y fabricado para ser utilizado como
sistema de control MIDI para un Software para Mezcla de música.
Debe conectar el equipo a su ordenador mediante un cable USB.
El aparato viene con un número de serie. No lo arranque pues podría
perder sus derechos de garantía.
Cualquier uso alternativo del aparato podría resultar en daños para
éste. En estas circunstancias la garantía no cubrirá los daños
causados.

CONEXIONES
Básicamente existen dos formas de conexión. Utilizando la tarjeta de audio interna de su ordenador o utilizando una tarjeta de audio externa diseñada para
uso profesional.
Conecte su equipotalcomo se indica en los gráficos inferiores. Al conectar su equipo se iluminarán los botones con retroiluminación por LED.

INSTALACIÓN - VIRTUAL DJ LE - PARA MAC
Para actualizar el software de su equipo realice los siguientes pasos:
1-Abrir la página web:
<http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html>. Es la página de
descargasde VirtualDJ.
2- Regístrese (usuario y password) en la página web para entrar en la
sección de descargas. Una vez se haya registrado verá la página del
siguiente gráfico.
3- Haga Click en el recuadro rojo ( ).
4- Pasará a la página que puede ver debajo. Introduzca el número de serie
de su CD.
5- Aparecerá un icono con el nombre ME-100 (éste es el código de
SIRION para VirtualDJ). En esta página verá las actualizaciones
disponibles para SIRION (ME-100). Realice la descarga desde esta
página.

ACTUALIZACIONES DEL SOFTWARE PARA MAC Y PC
CONFIGURACIÓN DE LA TARJETA DE SONIDO
A- Soundcard: ME-100 (éste es el código de su equipo para
parametrización enVirtual DJ).
B- Output: Headphone (WindowsVersion). Advertirá que el menú de
“persiana” o “drop down menu” situado a la derecha de Output cambia a la
siguiente configuración: Master: Chan1&2 / Headphones: Chan3&4. En el
menú de “Sound Card” deberá escoger ME-100. En la parte derecha del
menú Sound Card deberá escoger la tarjeta de sonido que desea utilizar.

Advertirá que el menú de “persiana” o “drop down menu” situado a la derecha de Output
cambia a la siguiente configuración: Master: Chan1&2 / Headphones: Chan3&4.
En el menú de “Sound Card” deberá escoger ME-100.
En la parte derecha del menú Sound Card ME-100 deberá escoger Built-in Output.
*Después de realizar el setting de su tarjeta de sonido cargue una canción y reprodúzcala para
comprobar que dispone de música en la salida de su Ordenador.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE CONTROLES Y SUS FUNCIONES
Acontinuación se explica cada una de las funciones. En caso de no entender
alguna función le remitimos al siguiente apartado donde las funciones más
relevantes se explican gráficamente.
1- MASTER: controla el nivel de señal de salida final.
2- HEADPHONE: controla el nivel de volumen de auriculares.
3-TRACK:
A- Seleccione la pista que desea reproducir
B- Presione para confirmar la selección de una Carpeta o Pista
4- GAIN y ECUALIZADOR:
- Gain ajusta el nivel de sensibilidad de entrada
- High ajusta el ecualizador de alta frecuencia.
- Mid ajusta el ecualizador de media frecuencia.
- Low ajusta el ecualizador de baja frecuencia.
5- LOADA, B: cargala pista en el reproductor correspondiente.
6- PLAY/PAUSE: comienza (Play) y pausa (Pause) la reproducción.
7- CUE / PLAY: pausa la reproducción en el último punto CUE realizado.
Mientras presionamos le botón se reproduce la pista. Al dejar de presionar
volvemos al último punto CUE realizado
8- SET CUE: establece un punto CUE sin interrupción de la reproducción.
Se podrá crear el punto Cue tanto estando en Play como en Pausa. Estando
en Pausa nos permite crear puntos Cue muy precisos en su posición
temporal.
9- PARAMETROS DE EFECTOS:
A.SELECT FX: selección de efecto
Ver mas información en la página 8.
b.FX-1/SAMPLEVOL: ajuste del parámetro 1 del efecto
c.FX-2: ajuste del parámetro 2 del efecto
10-EFECTOON/OFF: activa /desactiva el efecto.
11-SEAMLESS LOOP (Loop sin interrupción):
A. Presione IN, será el inicio del Loop.A continuación presione Out, es el
punto final del Loop. El Loop se reproduce continuamente hasta que vuelva
a presionar OUT.
B. Presione Shift y IN para reducir (mitad) la longitud del loop. Presione
Shift y OUT para incrementar (doblar) la longitud del loop.
12- SCRATCH: Utilízelo para realizar el efecto scratch con la rueda.
Ver más información en la página 8.
13- CUE: Presione para realizar preescucha por auriculares del canal
correspondiente.Ver más información en la página 7.
14- SYNC: Le permite sincronizar totalmente ambos canales. Se igualará el
BPM y sincronizará los beat de cada pista.
15- KEY: Presione KEY, al cambiar la velocidad de reproducción mediante
el Tempo (o Pitch) la nota permanece inalterada. De este modo evitará los
cambios tonales propios de la aceleración efecto (Mickey Mouse) en la voz
y deceleración que produce indeseados cambios tonales en voz y algunos
instrumentos.
16- LINE FADER: Ajusta el volumen del canal correspondiente.
17- CROSSFADER: Funde en una las señales de ambos canales. La
proporción de cada canal es determinada por la posición del Crossfader.
18- PITCH FADER: Utilícelo para ajustar la velocidad de reproducción de
cada reproductor o Deck. De este modo puede igualar el valor deBPM de
ambas pistas.
19- JOG WHEEL (rueda): La rueda tiene varias funciones:
a. Presione Shift y manipule la rueda para desplazarse rápidamente por una
pista.
b. Utilícelo para realizar pequeñas modificaciones de Pitch, como si tocara
el perímetro de un vinilo analógico. Ver más información en la página 7.
20- SHIFT: manteniendo presionado este botón y presionando otro control.
Este control adquiere una función distinta (función secundaria) a la
original. La función secundaria aparecerá dentro de un rectángulo al lado
de la función original.
Acontinuación se hace referencia a todos los controles con función original
y función secundaria activada mediante Shift.
20.1- Selección modoAudio / Vídeo: presione Shift yTrack (3).
Cambia el modo de Audio a vídeo y viceversa.
20.2- Ajuste de “Key”: presione Shift y High/Key (4). Ajusta la nota (Key)
de reproducción sin variar la velocidad (tempo) de reproducción.
20.3-Acceso a Carpetas: presione Shift y LoadA/Back (5).
Nos permite utilizar el control TRACK para selecciona pistas o Carpetas y
Subcarpetas. Nos permite abrir o cerrar un a carpeta o subcarpeta.
20.5- Hot Cue:
- presione Shift y Set Cue/Hot Cue 1 (8). Establece un punto Cue sin
interrupción de la reproducción. Será el punto Hot Cue 1. Y quedará
almacenado para ser recuperado .
- presione Shift y Cue-Play/Hot Cue 2 (7). Establece un punto Cue sin
interrupción de la reproducción. Será el punto Hot Cue 2. Y quedará
almacenado para ser recuperado .
- presione Shift y Play-Pause/Hot Cue 3 (6). Establece un punto Cue sin
interrupción de la reproducción. Será el punto Hot Cue 3. Y quedará
almacenado para ser recuperado. Para recuperar los puntos Hot Cue
almacenados repita la operación. Para cambiar el último punto Hot Cue
establecido utilice el control Set Cue. Ver más información en la página 7.
20.6- Sample: presione Shift y Effects/Sample(10).
Activamos/desactivamos el modo Sample. O lo que es lo mismo
realizamos la acción Sample ON/OFF.
- presione Shift y manipule el control Select/Sample (9). Le permite
seleccionar un Sample de los disponibles.
- presione Shift y manipule el control FX 1/SAMP-VOL (9). Le permite
graduar el volume del Sample.
20.7- CloneA/B: copia la pista de un reproductor al otro.
20.8- Smart Loop: ajusta el Loop a los beat más próximos.
20.9- Smart Cue: ajusta el CUE al beat más próximo.
20.10- Quick Search (Seek): gire la rueda para desplazarse rápidamente por
la pista.
20.11-AUTOLOOP: manteniendo presionado el botón Shift y presionando
los botones IN y OUT le permite determinar la longitud del Loop
automático que podrá establecer presionando el botón OUT. Ver más
información en la página 7.
20.12- TAP: presione este botón al ritmo del beat de la música para obtener
un valor manual del BPM de la pista.

Estando en el árbol de selección de carpetas realice la siguiente operación:
ESTABLECER UN PUNTO CUE:
El modo más preciso para establecer un punto CUE consiste en, estando en modo Pausa, utilizar la rueda para desplazar la pista al punto deseado.
1- Sitúese en modo Pausa
2- Gire la rueda y se desplazará la barra de reproducción azul.
Seleccione el punto donde quiere realizar un CUE. Normalmente
justo antes de un beat, en el gráfico azul puede ver los beat en
forma de rectángulos o por los “picos” de nivel.
3- Presione CUE o Set Cue para establecer el punto CUE
REALIZAR UNAUTOLOOP:
En primer lugar debemos establecer la duración delAutoloop:
Una vez determinada la duración presionar el botón OUT (el LED se iluminá) y se inicia el
Autoloop. Para salir del Loop presione otra vez el botón OUT (el LED se apaga).

Los punto Hot Cue se almacenan y se reclaman del siguiente modo:
1- Presione Shift y uno de los tres botones del dibujo.
Una vez establecidos los puntos Hot Cue podemos acceder a ellos repitiendo la operación
anterior. Para situarnos en Hot Cue un presione Shift + Set Cue/Hot Cue 1 y así para los
demás puntos Hot Cue.
Renovar un punto Hot Cue. Sólo podemos renovar el último punto Hot Cue realizado. Para
ello presione el botón Set Cue.

EXPLICACIÓN DE LAS FUNCIONES DE VÍDEO
CONTROL DE LAS FUNCIONES DE VÍDEO
Cambie de modo MIXER a modo VÍDEO.
1- Load A,B: Carga un archivo de vídeo en el reproductor
correspondiente.
2- Transition (transición): le permite seleccionar el control de vídeo de
fusión (crossfading) de los vídeos de cada reproductor.
3- Effect: transforma el vídeo a través de distintos efectos visuales.
4- CTRL: Es el control del parámetro del efecto “Boom Auto” en la
versiónVDJ LE.
EFECTOSY SAMPLES:
En el controlador SIRION las funciones de Efectos y Samples se realizán con los mismos controles físicos utilizando Shift para duplicar sus funciones.En
modo normal los controles físicos de SIRION actuarán sobre las funciones de Efectos. En modo Shift (botón Shift presionado), actuarán sobre las funciones
de Sample.

MODOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LARUEDA:
1- SEEK (Búsqueda): presione Shift y mueva la rueda para desplazarse rápidamente a través de una pista.
2- PITCH: mueva la rueda para variar el pitch. En modo pausa le permitirá escoger un punto temporal determinado con gran precisión.
3- SCRATCH: presione el botón Scratch (se ilumina). Gire la rueda como su fuera un vinilo para obtener un sonido equivalente al Scratch analógico de un
vinilo.
En primer lugar presionando el botón Shift presione a continuación el botón
TRACK/ENTER. Entrará en modo VÍDEO, en el Skin de VDJ LE aparecerá el
skin de vídeo.
Del mismo modo que se ha explicado para selecciona pistas seleccione un
archivo de vídeo y cárguelo en el reproductor correspondiente mediante los
botones LoadAy Load B.
En el dibujo inferior podrá ver la correspondencia entre los controles físicos y
las funciones de Vídeo.

You can use SIRION controller with the built in Sound Card of your computer or with an external Sound Card more appropriate for professional use. Below

Download VirtualDJ LE from the referenced web page. VirtualDJ LE
version is the latest avaialble at this moment. There is no need for a
Software update right again after buying SIRION Controller.
However need updates will be developed. Pls., Review frequently the

To update your software follow the steps:
1- Open web page: <http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html>.
This is VirtualDJ web page for downloads.
2- Register (user and password) at VirtualDJ web page to access
downloads.You will see tha skin of the draw below.
3- Click on ( ) . You willl be directed to a new window.
4- Insert the serial number of the CD included with SIRION to access
dowload area.
5- Click at the ME-100 icon (VirtualDJ code for SIRION). And the
Download software for your application will appear at the window. From
here you can start to download.

1- You will notice that the drop down to the right of the output has changed
to show Master: Chan1&2/Headphones: Chan3&4
The drop down of Soundcard has to be selected ME100.
The drop down to the right of ME100 has to be selected the respective
soundcard of your PC. The screen below is an example.

1- MASTER: Control the audio output level of PC.
2- HEADPHONE: Control the volume of your headphone.
3-TRACK:
A- Select the track you would like to play.
B- Press to confirm the selection of a folder or a track
4- GAINAND EQ:
- Gain:Adjust the input signal level
- Hi:Adjust the input tremble response
- Mid:Adjust the input midrange response
- Low:Adjust the input bass response
5- LOADA, B: Load the track to respective channel.
6- PLAY/PAUSE: Play or pause the track.
7- CUE / PLAY: Restart the music from the last memorized point.
8- SET CUE: Pause the music and press this button to have a memorized
point.

11- SEAMLESS LOOP:
A. Press IN and then press Out to form a loop.
B. Hold SHIFT and then press IN to decrease the loop length or press
OUTto enlargethe loop length.
12- SCRATCH: Scratch: To switch on/off this function. More info at
page 16.
13- CUE: Press it to monitor a specific channel.
14- SYNC: Press it to immediately synchronize with the BPM of the
other channel.
15- KEY: Press it to switch KEY mode on or off. If it is ON, the unit
maintains at a constant tempo and doesn't change while the pitch slider is
moving.
16- LINE FADER: Adjust the channel output sound level.
17- CROSSFADER: Switch between or mix together with music of two
channels.
18- PITCH FADER: Use it to adjust the pitch up or down to match the
beat with the other channel.

20- SHIFT:
Search: Hold it and dial the wheel to search the certain point you would
like to play from.
Compound Function: Hold it to enable specific button to do the
compound function. These buttons have black boxes up or next their first
function description.
20.1- Audio/Video mode switch
20.2- Key Adjust- Adjust the key of the playing track without adjusting
its tempo.

1. Open or Close a subfolder.
2. Under the track selection mode, it allows you to go back to select the
track in the other folder.
20.5- Hot Cue:
- press Shift + Set Cue/Hot Cue 1 (8). This sets a Cue point without
interrumpion of the playback. This is Hot Cue 1 and will remain stored
ready for be reclaimed.
- press Shift + Set Cue/Hot Cue 2 (7). This sets a Cue point without
interrumpion of the playback. This is Hot Cue 2 and will remain stored
ready for be reclaimed.
- press Shift + Set Cue/Hot Cue 3 (6). This sets a Cue point without
interrumpion of the playback. This is Hot Cue 3 and will remain stored
ready for be reclaimed.
To claim back the stored Hot Cues repeat the same operation. You can
change the last stored Hot Cue using the control Set Cue.

20.6- Sample: press Shift + Effects/Sample (10). We
activate/deactivate Sample mode. Or what is the same we set Sample
ON/OFF.
- press Shift and use control Select/Sample (9). It allows for the
selection of one of the available Samples.
- press Shift and use control control FX 1/SAMP-VOL(9). It allows for
the setting of Sample Parameter 1 .
20.7- CloneA, B: Copy the track of one channel to the other channel.
20.8- Smart Loop: the Loop will be create as close as possible to
neighbouring beats.

Hot Cue points are stored and reclaimed as follows:
1- Press Shift and one of the three buttons at the draw (right).
Once Hot Cues are stored we can claim them by repeating the procedure. i.e. Shift + the
button where is stored the desired Hot Cue.
We can change only the last stored Hot Cue. Press Set Cue and the new Hot Cue is set

El Akiyama Sirion es un controlador MIDI para DJ que permite mezclar música utilizando un software de mezcla de música en un ordenador. Posee controles para ajustar el volumen, los ecualizadores, cargar pistas, reproducirlas, pausarlas y hacer bucles. También tiene controles para aplicar efectos, ajustar el tono y el tempo, y crear puntos de referencia. Además, cuenta con botones para controlar el vídeo y un crossfader para mezclar el audio y el vídeo.
