FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG FOR
U.K. AND IRELAND ONLY.
If the plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in
your home, it can be removed and replaced by a
plug of the correct type. Please refer to
"Installation of a plug" below.
INSTALLATION OF A PLUG
APPLICABLE TO U.K. AND IRELAND
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
This appliance is fitted with a 13 amp plug.
The fuse should be rated at 3 amps and ASTA
approved to BS1362.
However if the plug is unsuitable, it should be
removed from the supply cord and an appropriate
plug fitted as detailed below:-
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured Blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured Black.
The wire which is coloured Brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured Red.
NB. Neither wire should be connected to the
terminal in your plug which is marked with the
letter E or by the Earth symbol or coloured
Green or Green and Yellow. If in doubt consult a
qualified electrician.
If any other plug is used, a 3 amp fuse must be
fitted either in the plug or adaptor or at the
distribution board.
NOTE:
If the terminals in the plug are not
marked or if you are unsure or in doubt about
the installation of the plug please contact a
qualified electrician.
If a 13A 3-pin plug is fitted, it must be an ASTA
approved plug, conforming to BS1363 standard.
Replacement 3A fuses must be BSI or ASTA
BS1362 approved.

instruction manual.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse the fan, plug or mains cable in water
or spray with liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in
use, when moving the fan from one location to
another.
•Avoid contact with any moving parts.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosives
and/or flammable fumes.
• Do not place the fan or any parts near an open
flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
mains cable, plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been dropped/damaged
in any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended or
sold by the appliance manufacturer may
cause hazards.
• Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge
of a table or counter, or come into contact with
hot surfaces.
•To disconnect from the electrical supply, grip
the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT
pull on the mains cable.
• Always use on a dry, level surface.
• Do not operate without the fan grills properly
in place.
• This product is intended for household use
ONLY and not for commercial or industrial
applications.
• Should the appliance stop working, first check
the fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit
breaker at the distribution board is operating,
before contacting the manufacturer or service
agent.
• If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid hazard.
• The appliance contains no user serviceable
parts and should the product suffer damage or
breakdown it must be returned to the
manufacturer or its service agent.
• Do not use outdoors.
• The fan should not be operated without its
base fitted.
• The fan should not be operated laying on its side.
• Under the environment with electrical fast
transient, the product may malfunction and
require user to reset the product.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set fan on a dry, level surface.
2. Plug cord into any standard 220-240 volt outlet.
3. The speed is adjusted by selecting and
depressing the speed button ( ).
I = low speed
II = medium speed
III = high speed
Oscillation control
To start and stop oscillation of the fan head, press
the Oscillation Button ( ) on the control panel.
Timer Control
The timer can be set to switch the fan off between
0.5 to 7.5 hours to save electricity. Every time
you press the timer button it will add 0.5 hours
(e.g Press timer button once for 0.5 hours, press
twice for 1 hour, press three times for 1.5 hours).
The fan will turn off automatically once this period
has lapsed. Press the power button ( ) at any
time to cancel and switch off the fan.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.
FAN STORAGE
When storing your fan in the off season, it is
important to keep it in a safe dry location. It is
important to protect the fan from dust.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING THE
ORIGINAL BOX FROM PURCHASE.

• No operar sin la parrilla guarda bien puesta.

• Si el cable de alimentación o la clavija tiene
daños, debe ser sustituido/a por el fabricante
o su agente de servicio, o por una persona
igualmente cualificada para evitar peligros.
• Si el ventilador deja de funcionar, compruebe
primero si el fusible en la clavija (sólo R.U.) o
el fusible/disyuntor en el cuadro de distribución
está en buen estado antes de ponerse en
contacto con el fabricante o el agente de servicio.
• No utilizar al aire libre.
• El ventilador no se debe operar sin instalar la
base.
• El ventilador no se debe operar reposado
lateralmente.
• En caso de corte momentáneo de
electricidad, el aparato puede dejar de
funcionar y se deberá ajustar de nuevo.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Coloque la base del ventilador sobre una
superficie plana y seca.
2. Enchufe el cable en una toma adecuada de
220- 240V C.A..
3. La velocidad se ajusta seleccionando y
apretando el botón de velocidad ( ).
I = velocidad baja
II = velocidad media
III = velocidad alta
Control de Oscilación
Para iniciar y parar la oscilación del cabezal del
ventilador, apretar el Botón de Oscilación ( )
en el cuadro de control.
Control del Minutero
El minutero se puede ajustar par encender el
ventilador entre 0,5 a 7,5 horas para ahorrar
electricidad. Cada vez que se apriete el botón del
minutero añadirá 0,5 hora (ej. Se aprieta el botón
del minutero una vez para 0,5 hora, se aprieta dos
veces para 1 hora, se aprieta tres veces para 1,5
hora). El ventilador se apaga automáticamente
una vez transcurrido este período. Se aprieta el
botón ( ) en cualquier momento para cancelar
y apagar el ventilador.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Desenchufar siempre el ventilador antes de
su limpieza o montaje.
• No permitir que entre agua en la carcasa del
motor de ventilador.
ALMACENAMIENTO DE VENTILADOR
Es importante mantenerlo seguro en un lugar
seco y seguro.
• Si se almacena desmontado, recomendamos
utilizar la caja original (o de un tamaño apropiado).
• Si se almacena montado o parcialmente montado,
recordar proteger el cabezal del ventilador
contra la entrada de polvo.

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
1. Den Ventilatorfuß auf eine trockene ebene
Fläche stellen.
2. Das Kabel in eine geeignete Steckdose
(220 - 240 V Wechselstrom) stecken.
3. Die Geschwindigkeit kann über den
Geschwindigkeitsknopf ( ) reguliert werden.
I = geringe Geschwindigkeit
II = Mittelgeschwindigkeit
III = hohe Geschwindigkeit
Hin- und Herbewegung
Zum Hin- und Herbewegen des Ventilators den
entsprechenden Knopf ( ) am Gerät drücken.
Zeiteinstellung
Um Strom zu sparen, kann die Laufzeit des
Ventilators zwischen 0,5 und 7,5 Stunden
eingestellt werden. Mit jedem Druck auf den
Zeitknopf läuft der Ventilator 0,5 h länger (d. h.,
einmal drücken = 0,5 h, zweimal drücken = 1 h,
dreimal drücken = 1,5 h usw.). Nach Ablauf der
eingestellten Zeit, stellt sich der Ventilator
automatisch aus. Durch Drücken des
Stromschalters ( ) kann der Ventilator jedoch
auch zwischendurch jederzeit ausgeschaltet werden.
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
•Vor dem Reinigen immer erst den Stecker
des Ventilators aus der Steckdose ziehen.
• Darauf achten, daß kein Wasser auf oder in
das Ventilatormotorgehäuse tropft.
LAGERUNG DES VENTILATORS
Es ist wichtig, den Ventilator an einem sicheren
und trockenen Ort aufzubewahren.
• Wird er im auseinandergenommenen Zustand
gelagert, empfehlen wir, den Originalkarton
(oder einen dementsprechend großen Karton)
zu verwenden.
• Wird der Ventilator teilweise oder ganz
zusammengebaut gelagert, ist der
Ventilatorkopf vor Staub zu schützen.

Cumplir todas las instrucciones basicas de
seguridad, cuando se utilizan aparatos
eléctricos, incluyendo las siguientes:-

Oscillatieregeling
Druk op de oscillatieknop ( ) op het
bedieningspaneel om de oscillatie van de
ventilatorkop te starten of te stoppen.
Instellen van de timer
De timer kan worden gebruikt om de ventilator
na een periode van een 1/2 uur tot 7

/2 uur uit te
schakelen om energie te besparen. Elke keer
wanneer de timerknop wordt ingedrukt wordt de
periode met een 1/2 uur verlengd (bijv. één keer
indrukken voor een half uur, twee keer voor een
uur, drie keer voor anderhalf uur).
Wanneer de periode is verstreken wordt de
ventilator automatisch uitgeschakeld.
De aan/uit-knop ( ) kan op elk gewenst moment
worden ingedrukt om de ventilator uit te schakelen.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Neem altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact
voordat u de fan schoonmaakt of monteert.
• Laat geen water op of in de motorkast van de
fan druppelen.
OPSLAG VAN DE FAN
Het is belangrijk dat u hem op een veilige, droge
plek bewaart.
• Bergt u de fan in stukken op, dan raden wij u
aan de originele doos of een voldoende grote
doos te gebruiken.
• Als u de fan volledig of gedeeltelijk gemonteerd
opbergt, vergeet dan niet de fankop tegen stof
te beschermen.

Voor het gebruik van elektrische apparatuur

Timer
Timer można nastawić, tak aby wentylator się
wyłączał po zadanym czasie (od 0,5 godziny do
7,5 godzin) dla zaoszczędzenia energii. Każde
naciśnięcie przycisku timera dodaje 0,5 godziny
(np. aby nastawić timer na pół godziny należy
nacisnąć przycisk raz, aby nastawić timer na
jedną godzinę należy nacisnąć przycisk dwa
razy, aby nastawić timer na 1,5 godziny należy
nacisnąćprzycisk trzy razy, itd.). Po upływie
nastawionego czasu wentylatorautomatycznie
się wyłącza. Aby skasować nastawienie i
wyłączyć wentylator należy w dowolnym
momencie nacisnąć przycisk mocy ( ).
