Safety information

Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the

supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if an incor-

rect installation and use causes injuries and damages. Always keep

the instructions with the appliance for future reference.

Children and vulnerable people safety

Warning! Risk of suffocation, injury or permanent disability.

• Do not let persons, children included, with reduced physical sen-

sory, reduced mental functions or lack of experience and knowl-

edge use the appliance. They must have supervision or instruction

for the operation of the appliance by a person who is responsible

for their safety.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

• Keep all detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door when it is

open.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, we recommend you acti-

vate it.

General Safety

• Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the

mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not change the specification of this appliance.

• Obey the maximum load volume of 8 kg (refer to the “Programme

chart” chapter).

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-

facturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

•The operating water pressure (minimum and maximum) must be

between 0,5 bar (0,05 MPa) and 8 bar (0,8 MPa)

• The ventilation openings in the base (if applicable) must not be ob-

structed by a carpet.

• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using the

new supplied hose-sets. Old hose sets must not be reused.

Safety instructions

Installation

• Remove all the packaging and the transit

bolts.

• Keep the transit bolts. When you move the

appliance again you must block the drum.

• Do not install or use a damaged appliance.

• Do not install or use the appliance where the

temperature is less than 0 °C or where it is

exposed to the weather.

• Obey the installation instruction supplied with

the appliance.

• Make sure that the floor where you install the

appliance is flat, stable, heat resistant and

clean.

• Do not install the appliance where the appli-

ance door can not be fully opened.

• Always be careful when you move the appli-

ance because it is heavy. Always wear safety

gloves.

• Make sure that there is air circulation be-

tween the appliance and the floor.

• Adjust the feet to have the necessary space

between the appliance and the carpet.

Electrical connection

Warning! Risk of fire and electrical shock.

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Make sure that the electrical information on

the rating plate agrees with the power supply.

If not, contact an electrician.

• Always use a correctly installed shockproof

socket.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension

cables.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the mains

plug and to the mains cable. Contact the

Service or an electrician to change a dam-

aged mains cable.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket

only at the end of the installation. Make sure

that there is access to the mains plug after

the installation.

• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the

appliance. Always pull the mains plug.

• Do not touch the mains cable or the mains

plug with wet hands.

• This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Di-

rectives.

Water connection

• Make sure not to cause damage to the water

hoses.

• The appliance is to be connected to the wa-

ter mains using the new supplied hose-sets.

Old hose sets must not be reused.

• Before you connect the appliance to new

pipes or pipes not used for a long time, let

the water flow until it is clean.

• The first time you use the appliance, make

sure that there is no leakage.

Use

Warning! Risk of injury, electrical shock,

fire, burns or damage to the appliance.

• Use this appliance in a household only.

• Do not change the specification of this appli-

ance.

• Do not put flammable products or items that

are wet with flammable products in, near or

on the appliance.

• Do not touch the glass of the door while a

programme operates. The glass can be hot.

• Make sure that you remove all metal objects

from the laundry.

• The final part of the drying cycle occurs with-

out heat (cool down cycle) to ensure that the

items will not be damaged.

If you stop the appliance before the end of

the drying cycle, immediately remove and

spread out all items, so that the heat can dis-

sipate.

• If you use detergent, fabric softener or similar

products, obey the instructions on the pack-

aging.

• Wipe away lint that has accumulated around

the appliance.

• Do not dry the damaged items which contain

padding or fillings .

• Do not dry items such as foam rubber (latex

foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles and

rubber backed articles.

• Before drying items that have been in contact

with substances such as cooking oil, ace-

tone, alcohol , petrol, kerosene, spot remov-

ers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers,

wash them in hot water with an extra amount

of detergent.

• Do not dry items if industrial chemicals have

been used for cleaning.

• Make sure that no gas lighters or matches

have been left in the pockets of the clothing.

• Only dry fabrics which are applicable to dry in

the tumble dryer. Follow the instructions on

the fabric label.

• Do not dry not washed items in the appliance.

• If you have washed your laundry with a stain

remover start an extra rinse cycle before you

start the appliance.

• Plastic items are not heat resistant.

– If you use a detergent ball, remove it before

you set the drying programme.

– Do not use a detergent ball when you set a

non-stop programme.

• Do not sit or stand on the open door.

• Obey the maximum load volume.

• Do not dry dripping wet clothes in the appli-

ance.

Care and Cleaning

Warning! Risk of injury or damage to the

appliance.

• Do not use water spray and steam to clean

the appliance.

• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth.

Only use neutral detergents. Do not use

abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads,

solvents or metal objects.

Disposal

Warning! Risk of injury or suffocation.

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains

supply.

• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.

• Remove the door catch to prevent children

and pets to get closed in the appliance.

coming trapped inside the drum this machine in-

corporates a special feature.

The rubber feet are particularly recommended

on floating, slippery and wooden floors.

Mount the rubber feet to prevent vibration,

noises and displacement of the appliance dur-

ing operation.

Read carefully the instructions supplied with the

kit.

Available from your authorized dealer.

If you install the appliance on a plinth, secure

the appliance in the fixing plates.

Follow the instructions supplied with the kit.

Detergent dispenser drawer

Compartment for detergent used for prewash

and soak phase or for stain remover used during

the stain action phase (if available). The prewash

and soak detergent is added at the beginning of

the wash programme. The stain remover is add-

ed during the stain action phase.

Compartment for powder or liquid detergent

used for main wash. If using liquid detergent

pour it just before starting the programme.

Compartment for liquid additives (fabric softener, starch).

Follow the product manufacturer’s recommendations on quantities to use and do not exceed the

«MAX» mark in the detergent dispenser drawer. Any fabric softener or starching additives must

be poured into the compartment before starting the wash programme.

Control panel

On the following page there is a picture of the control panel. It shows the programme selector

dial as well as the buttons, pilot lights and the display. These are presented by relevant num-

bers on the following pages.

Programme Selector Dial

It allows you to switch the appliance on/off and/

or to select a programme.

CENTRIFUGADO

By pressing this button you can reduce the

maximum spin speed allowed for the selected

programme or to select the available option(s).

Rinse hold

By selecting this function the water of the last

rinse is not emptied out to prevent the fabrics

from creasing. Before opening the door it will be

necessary to empty out the water. To empty out

the water, please read the paragraph «At the

end of the programme».

SECADO AUTOMÁTICO

By pressing this button you can choose the re-

quired degree of drying for cottons and synthet-

ics:

• Store dry (Cottons and Synthetics)

• Iron dry (Cottons)

The pilot light corresponding to the selected

dryness degree will illuminate.

TIEMPO DE SECADO

If you wish to carry out a timed drying pro-

gramme, press this button until the drying time

you want appears on the display according to

the fabrics (cottons or synthetics) you have to

dry. For Cottons you can select a drying time

from 10 minutes to 250 minutes (4.10). For

Synthetics you can select a drying time from 10

minutes to 130 minutes (2.10). Every time you

press this button the drying time increases by 5

mins.

Available options:

SUPER RÁPIDO

Short cycle for lightly soiled items or for laundry

which needs only freshening up. We recom-

mend you to reduce the fabrics loading.

AQUACARE

This appliance is designed for saving energy. If

it necessary to rinse the laundry using an extra

quantity of water select this option. Some addi-

tional rinses will be performed. This option is

recommended for people who are allergic to

detergents, and in areas where the water is very

soft.

INICIO/PAUSA

This button allows you to start or to interrupt the

selected programme.

INICIO DIFERIDO

The programme can be delayed from 30 min -

60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up

to a maximum of 20 hours by means of this but-

ton.

PUERTA BLOQUEADA

The pilot light 9 illuminates when the pro-

gramme starts and indicates if the door can be

opened:

• light on: the door cannot be opened. The ma-

chine is working or has stopped with water

left in the tub.

• light off: the door can be opened. The pro-

gramme is finished or the water has been

emptied out.

• light blinking: the door is opening in a few mi-

nutes.

The display shows the following information:

10.1 Child safety lock

This device permits you to leave the appliance unattended during it's functioning.

10.2 • Duration of the selected programme

After selecting a programme, the duration is displayed in hours and minutes (for example

). The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum recommended

load for each type of fabric. After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated

every minute.

• Selected drying time

After selecting a drying programme the drying time is shown in minutes or hours and minutes.

After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute.

• Delayed start

The Selected delay set by pressing the relevant button appears on the display for a few sec-

onds, then the duration of the selected programme is displayed again. The delay time value de-

creases by one unit every hour and then, when 1 hour remains, every minute.

• Alarm codes

In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be displayed, for example

(see paragraph «What to do if...»).

• Incorrect option selection

If an option which is not compatible with the set wash programme is selected, the message Err

is displayed at the bottom of the display for a few seconds and the integrated red light of button

7 start flashing.

• End of programme

When the programme has finished the flashing zero (

) is displayed, the pilot light 9 and the

pilot light of button 7 go out and the door can be opened.

The consumption data shown on this chart

is to be considered purely indicative, as it

may vary depending on the quantity and type of

laundry, on the inlet water temperature and on

the ambient temperature.

Helpful hints and tips

Sorting out the laundry

Follow the wash code symbols on each garment

label and the manufacturer’s washing instruc-

tions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, col-

oureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens.

Before loading the laundry

Never wash whites and coloureds together.

Whites may lose their «whiteness» in the wash.

New coloured items may run in the first wash;

they should therefore be washed separately the

first time.

Button up pillowcases, close zip fasteners,

hooks and poppers. Tie any belts or long tapes.

Remove persistent stains before washing.

Rub particularly soiled areas with a special de-

tergent or detergent paste.

Treat curtains with special care. Remove hooks

or tie them up in a bag or net.

Removing stains

Stubborn stains may not be removed by just

water and detergent. It is therefore advisable to

treat them prior to washing.

Blood: treat fresh stains with cold water. For

dried stains, soak overnight in water with a spe-

cial detergent then rub in the soap and water.

Oil based paint: moisten with benzine stain

remover, lay the garment on a soft cloth and dab

the stain; treat several times.

Dried grease stains: moisten with turpentine,

lay the garment on a soft surface and dab the

stain with the fingertips and a cotton cloth.

Rust: oxalic acid dissolved in hot water or a rust

removing product used cold. Be careful with

rust stains which are not recent since the cellu-

lose structure will already have been damaged

and the fabric tends to hole.

Mould stains: treat with bleach, rinse well

(whites and fast coloureds only).

Grass: soap lightly and treat with bleach

(whites and fast coloureds only).

Ball point pen and glue: moisten with ace-

tone

, lay the garment on a soft cloth and dab

the stain.

Lipstick: moisten with acetone as above, then

treat stains with methylated spirits. Treat any re-

sidual marks with bleach.

Red wine: soak in water and detergent, rinse

and treat with acetic or citric acid, then rinse.

Treat any residual marks with bleach.

Ink: depending on the type of ink, moisten the

fabric first with acetone

, then with acetic acid;

treat any residual marks on white fabrics with

bleach and then rinse thoroughly.

Tar stains: first treat with stain remover, methy-

lated spirits or benzine, then rub with detergent

paste.

Detergents and additives

Good washing results also depend on the

choice of detergent and use of the correct

quantities to avoid waste and protect the envi-

ronment.

Although biodegradable, detergents contain

substances which, in large quantities, can upset

the delicate balance of nature.

The choice of detergent will depend on the type

of fabric (delicates, woollens, cottons, etc.), the

colour, washing temperature and degree of soil-

ing.

All commonly available washing machine deter-

gents may be used in this appliance:

• powder detergents for all types of fabric

• powder detergents for delicate fabrics (60°C

max) and woollens

• liquid detergents, preferably for low tempera-

ture wash programmes (60°C max) for all

types of fabric, or special for woollens only.

The detergent and any additives must be placed

in the appropriate compartments of the dis-

penser drawer before starting the wash pro-

gramme.

If using liquid detergents, a programme without

prewash must be selected.

Your appliance incorporates a recirculation sys-

tem which allows an optimal use of the concen-

trated detergent.

Follow the product manufacturer’s recommen-

dations on quantities to use and do not ex-

ceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dis-

penser drawer.

Quantity of detergent to be used

The type and quantity of detergent will depend

on the type of fabric, load size, degree of soiling

and hardness of the water used.

Follow the product manufacturers’ instructions

on quantities to use.

Use less detergent if:

• you are washing a small load

• the laundry is lightly soiled

• large amounts of foam form during washing.

Degrees of water hardness

Water hardness is classified in so-called “de-

grees” of hardness. Information on hardness of

the water in your area can be obtained from the

relevant water supply company, or from your lo-

cal authority. If the water hardness degree is

medium or high we suggest you to add a water

softener following always the manufacturer’s in-

structions. When the degree of hardness is soft,

readjust the quantity of the detergent.

Drying Hints

Preparing the drying cycle

As a dryer, the appliance works on the conden-

sation principle.

Therefore, the water tap must be open and

the drain hose must drain water into a

sink or into the drain pipe, even during the

drying cycle.

Attention!

Before starting the drying programme, reduce

the loads of washed laundry, in order to obtain

good performances.

Laundry not suitable for drying

• Particularly delicate items such as synthetic

curtains, woollen and silk, garments with met-

al inserts, nylon stockings, bulky garments

such as anoraks, bed covers, quilts, sleeping

bags and duvets must not be machine dried.

• Avoid drying dark clothes with light coloured

fluffy items such as towels as these can at-

tract the fluff.

• Remove the laundry when the appliance has

finished drying.

• To avoid a static charge when drying is com-

pleted, use either a fabric softener when you

are washing the laundry or a fabric condition-

er specifically for tumble dryers.

• Garments padded with foam-rubber or mate-

rials similar to foam-rubber must not be ma-

chine dried; they represent a fire hazard.

• Also, fabrics containing residue of setting lo-

tions or hair sprays, nail solvents or similar

solutions must not be machine dried in order

to avoid the formation of harmful vapours.

The detergent and any additives must be placed

in the appropriate compartments of the dis-

penser drawer before starting the wash pro-

gramme.

If using liquid detergents, a programme without

prewash must be selected.

Your appliance incorporates a re-circulation

system which allows an optimal use of the con-

centrated detergent.

Follow the product manufacturer’s recommen-

dations on quantities to use and do not ex-

ceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dis-

penser drawer.

Garment labels

For drying, follow the indications given on the

manufacturer’s labels:

•

= May be tumble dried

•

= Drying at high temperature

•

= Drying at reduced temperature

•

= Do not tumble dry.

Drying cycle duration

The drying time may vary depending on:

• speed of the final spin

• dryness degree required (iron dry, store dry)

• type of laundry

• weight of the load size .

The average drying time for a timed drying are

indicated in the «Drying programmes» chapter.

The experience will help you to dry your laundry

in a more suitable way, according to the differ-

ent fabrics. Take note of the duration drying time

of the already performed cycles.

Additional drying

If the laundry is still damp at the end of the dry-

ing programme, select a short drying cycle

again.

Warning! Do not over dry the laundry

in order to avoid creasing of fabrics

or garment’s shrinking.

First use

• Ensure that the electrical and water con-

nections comply with the installation in-

structions.

• Remove the polystyrene block and any

material from the drum.

• Before the first wash, run a cotton cycle

at the highest temperature without any

laundry in the machine, to remove any

manufacturing residue from the drum

and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of deter-

gent into the main wash compartment

and start the machine.

Personalisation

Acoustic signals

The machine is provided with an acoustic de-

vice, which sounds in the following cases:

• at the end of the cycle

• if there is a fault.

By pressing the 4 and 5 buttons simultaneously

for about 6 seconds, the acoustic signal is de-

activated (except if there is a fault). By pressing

these 2 buttons again, the acoustic signal is re-

activated.

Child safety lock

This device permits you to leave the appliance

unattended so you do not need to worry that

children might be injured by or cause damage to

the appliance. This function remains enabled al-

so when the washing machine is not working.

There are two different ways to set this option:

1. Before pressing button 7: it will be impossi-

ble to start the machine.

2. After pressing button 7: it will be impossi-

ble to change any other programme or op-

tion.

To enable or disable this option press simulta-

neously for about 6 seconds buttons 2 and 3

until on the display, the icon

appears or dis-

appears.

Daily Use

Load the laundry

quired programme.

The green pilot light of button 7 starts to flash.

The selector dial can be turned either clockwise

or anticlockwise.

Select the spin speed by pressing button 2

When selecting a programme, the appliance

proposes automatically the maximum spin

speed provided for that programme. (See

"Washing programmes" for the maximum al-

lowed spin speed).

Press this button repeatedly to change the spin

speed, if you want your laundry to be spun at a

different speed. The relevant pilot light illumi-

nates.

Select the available options by pressing

the buttons 5 and 6

Depending on the programme, different options

can be combined. These must be selected after

choosing the desired programme and before

starting the programme. When these buttons

are pressed, the corresponding pilot lights illu-

minate. When they are pressed again, the pilot

lights go out. If an incorrect option is selected,

the integrated red pilot light of the button 7

flashes 3 times and the message Err is dis-

played.

For the compatibility among the washing pro-

grammes and the options see chapter «Wash-

ing programmes».

Start the programme by pressing button 7

To start the selected programme, press this

button; the corresponding green pilot light

stops blinking.

The pilot light 9 illuminates to indicate that the

appliance starts operating and the door is

locked.

If you have chosen a delayed start, the machine

will begin the countdown.

Important! If an incorrect option is selected,

the message Err is displayed for a few seconds

and the red pilot light of this button blinks 3

times.

Select the Delay Start by pressing button

Before you start the programme, if you wish to

delay the start, press this button to select the

desired delay.

The selected delay time value will appear on the

display for a few seconds, then the duration of

the programme will appear again.

You must select this option after you have set

the programme and before you start the pro-

gramme.

You can cancel or modify the delay time at any

moment, before you press button 7.

Selecting the delay start :

1. Select the programme and the required op-

tions.

2. Select the delay start by pressing button 8.

3. Press button 7:

- the machine starts its hourly countdown.

- the programme will start after the selected

delay has expired.

Cancelling the Delay Start after having started

the programme:

1. Set the washing machine to PAUSE by

pressing button 7.

2. Press button 8 once. On the display will

appear

3. Press button 7 again to start the pro-

gramme.

Important!

• The selected delay can be changed only after

selecting the washing programme again.

• The door will be locked throughout the delay

time. If you need to open the door, you must

first set the washing machine to PAUSE by

pressing button 7 and wait a few minutes be-

fore opening the door. After you have closed

the door, press the same button again.

Important! The Delay Start cannot be

selected with the draining programme.

Altering an option or a running

programme

It is possible to change some options before the

programme carries them out.

Before you make any change, you must pause

the washing machine by pressing button 7.

Changing a running programme is possible only

by resetting it. Turn the programme selector dial

and then to the new programme position.

Start the new programme by pressing button 7

again.

The washing water in the tub will be not emp-

tied out.

Interrupting a programme

Press the button 7 to interrupt a programme

which is running, the corresponding pilot light

starts blinking. Press the button again to restart

the programme.

Cancelling a programme

Turn the selector dial to

to cancel a pro-

gramme which is running. Now you can select a

new programme.

Opening the door after the programme

has started

First set the machine to pause by pressing the

button 7.

If the pilot light 9 goes off, the door can be

opened.

If the pilot light 9 remains lit, this means that the

machine is already heating or that the water lev-

el is too high. In any case, do not force the door!

If you cannot open the door but you need to

open it, switch the machine off by turning the

selector dial to

. After a few minutes the door

can be opened.

(Pay attention to the water level and tem-

perature!).

After closing the door, it is necessary to select

the programme and options again and to press

button 7.

At the end of the programme

The machine stops automatically. The blinking

appears on the display, the pilot light of but-

ton 7 and the pilot light 9 go off.

If a programme or an option that ends with wa-

ter left in the tub has been selected, the pilot

light 9 remains on and the door is locked to in-

dicate that the water must be emptied out be-

fore opening the door.

Before you empty out the water, the drum con-

tinues to run at regular intervals until the water

draining.

Follow the below instructions to empty out the

water:

Stand by : once the programme has finished

after a few minutes the energy saving system

will be enabled. The brightness of the display is

reduced. By pressing any button the appliance

will come out of the energy saving status.

Use - Drying

Drying only

Caution!

The recommended load size is 4 kg for cottons

and linen and 3 kg for synthetic items.

By pressing Drying Time button it is also

possible to dry up to 6 kg of cotton items

(see the «Drying Programme » table).

Caution!

The water tap must be open and the drain

hose must be positioned in the sink or

connected to the drain pipe.

1. Load the laundry.

2. Select a spin cycle at the maximum spin

speed allowed for the type of laundry in or-

der to obtain the best drying performances.

3. Select the drying programme for Cottons or

Synthetic in the Drying sector of the pro-

gramme selector dial.

4. If you wish to select an automatic drying

(for cottons and synthetic items only), press

the button 3 until the pilot light correspond-

ing to the required dryness degree illumi-

nates.

5. If you wish to select a timed drying, press

the button 4 until the time you want ap-

pears on the display (see the «Drying Pro-

gramme» table). Every time you press this

button the drying time increases by 5 mi-

nutes.

The programme time will automatically in-

crease by some minutes.

6. Press button 7 to start the programme. The

time remaining is updated every minute.

7. At the end of the programme, the buzzer

sounds. The blinking

appears on the dis-

play. The door pilot light 9 is on.

During the last minutes of the drying cycle

the appliance performs an anti-crease

phase. Through this time the door is locked.

If you wish to open the door before or dur-

ing the anti-crease phase or to interrupt it,

press any button or turn the programme selec-

The different type of cottons (towelling,

sheets, shirts, and so on) or any laundry

items rolling up during the spinning phase may

result in partial dryness. In the exceptional case

that at the end of the cycle the laundry remains

slightly wet, we suggest that you unfold the rol-

led up items, redistribute them evenly in the

drum and select an additional drying cycle of

20-30 minutes.

If you set only 10 minutes of drying phase

with the drying time button (4), the appli-

ance performs only a cooling phase.

Use - Washing & Drying

NON-STOP programme - Washing and

Automatic Drying

The maximum load size is 4 kg for cotton and 3

kg for synthetic.

drying programme.

1. Load the laundry and add detergent and

fabric softener.

2. Switch the machine on by turning the se-

lector dial to the set washing programme/

fabric.

3. Select the required options by pressing the

relevant buttons.

If possible, do not select a spin speed

lower than that proposed by the ap-

pliance to avoid too long a drying time

therefore saving energy.

In any case the reduction of the spin speed

is only possible after selecting drying.

The lowest values you can select are 900

r.p.m. for cottons and synthetics and 700

r.p.m. for delicate fabrics.

4. Set the drying time by pressing button 4.

The display shows the whole duration of

the washing and the set drying cycle.

If you set a washing programme and only

10 minutes of drying cycle, the total dura-

tion displayed includes also the unrolling and

the cooling phase.

5. Start the programme by pressing button 7.

The time remaining is updated every minute

on the display.

6. At the end of the programme turn the se-

lector dial to the

position to switch the

machine off and remove the laundry.

Fluff in the fabrics

During the WASHING AND/OR DRYING

PHASE, certain types of fabric, such as sponge,

wool, sweatshirt, could release fluff.

The released fluff could stick to the fabrics dur-

ing the next cycle.

This drawback increases with technical fabrics.

To prevent the fluff in your clothes, it is

recommended:

• To do not wash dark fabrics after you washed

and dried light colored fabrics (new sponge,

wool, sweatshirt especially) and vice versa.

• To air-dry this type of fabrics when they are

washed the first time.

• To clean the drain filter.

• After the drying phase, thoroughly clean the

empty drum, the gasket and the door with a

wet rag.

To remove the fluff inside the drum, run a

special programme to clean it:

• Empty the drum and clean the drum, the gas-

ket and the door with a wet rag.

• Turn the programme selector to the rinse pro-

gramme.

• Activate the cleaning function by pressing at

the same time button 5 and button 8 until the

display shows CLE.

• Press button 7 to start the programme.

Care and cleaning

Warning! You must DISCONNECT the

appliance from the electricity supply,

before you can carry out any cleaning or

maintenance work.

Descaling

The water we use normally contains lime. It is a

good idea to periodically use a water softening

powder in the machine. Do this separately from

any laundry washing, and according to the soft-

ening powder manufacturer's instructions. This

will help to prevent the formation of lime depos-

its.

External cleaning

Clean the exterior cabinet of the appliance with

soap and water only, and then dry thoroughly.

Cleaning the dispenser drawer

The washing powder and additive dispenser

drawer should be cleaned regularly.

Remove the drawer

by pressing the catch

downwards and by

pulling it out. Flush it

out under a tap, to re-

move any traces of

accumulated powder.

Cleaning the pump

The pump should be inspected regularly and

particularly if:

• the appliance does not empty and/or spin;

• the appliance makes an unusual noise during

draining due to objects such as safety pins,

coins etc. blocking the pump;

• a problem with water draining is detected

(see chapter “What to do if...” for more de-

tails).

Warning!

Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

2. Do not remove the filter while the appliance

operates. Do not clean the drain pump if

the water in the appliance is hot. The water

must be cold before you clean the drain

pump.

Proceed as follows:

Open the pump door.

Put a container below the recess of the drain

pump to collect the water that flows out.

Press the two levers and pull forward the

drainage duct to let the water flow out.

When the container is full of water, put the

drainage duct back again and empty the con-

tainer. Do steps 3 and 4 again and again until

no more water flows out from the drain pump.

Pull back the drainage duct.

Unscrew the filter and remove it.

Remove fluff and objects from the pump.

Make sure that the impeller of the pump can

turn. If this does not occur, contact the service

centre.

Clean the filter under the water tap and put it

back in the pump into the special guides.

Make sure that you tighten correctly the filter

to prevent leakages.

Close the pump door.

Caution! When the appliance is in use

and depending on the programme selected

there can be hot water in the pump.

Never remove the pump cover during a wash

cycle, always wait until the appliance has

finished the cycle, and is empty. When refitting

the pump cover, ensure it is securely re-

tightened so as to stop leaks and young

children being able to remove it.

Cleaning the water inlet filters

Important! If the appliance doesn't fill, takes

long to fill with water, the starting button blinks

yellow or the display (if available) shows the

relevant alarm (see chapter "What to do if..." for

more details), check if the water inlet filters are

blocked .

To clean the water inlet filters:

• Turn off the water

tap.

• Unscrew the hose

from the tap.

• Clean the filter in

the hose with a stiff

brush.

• Screw the hose back onto the tap. Make

sure the connection is tight.

• Unscrew the hose from the machine. Keep

a rag nearby because some water may flow.

• Clean the filter in the valve with a stiff brush

or with the piece of cloth.

• Turn on the water tap.

Frost precautions

If the machine is installed in a place where the

temperature could drop below 0°C, remove the

remaining water from the inlet hose and the

drain pump.

1. disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

2. close the water tap

3. unscrew the water inlet hose from the tap;

4. put the two ends of the inlet hose in a con-

tainer and let the water flow out of the

hose.

5. empty the drain pump as described in the

‘Emergency emptying out’ section.

6. when the drain pump is empty, install the

water inlet hose again.

Warning!

Make sure that the temperature is more than 0

°C before you use the appliance again.

The manufacturer is not responsible for dam-

ages caused by low temperatures.

Emergency emptying out

If the appliance cannot drain the water, proceed

as follows to empty out the machine:

1. pull out the plug from the power socket;

2. close the water tap;

3. if necessary, wait until the water has cooled

down;

4. open the pump door;

5. place a container on the floor below the re-

cess of the drain pump;

6. press the two levers and pull forward the

drainage duct to let the water flow out;

7. when the container is full of water, put the

drainage duct back again and empty the

container;

repeat this operation until water stops flow-

ing out;

8. if necessary clean the pump (refer to the

section ‘Cleaning the pump’ );

9. close the drain pump door.

When you drain the water with the emergency

drain procedure, you must activate again the

drain system:

1. Put 2 litres of water in the main wash com-

partment of the detergent dispenser.

2. Start the programme to drain the water.

What to do if…

Certain problems are due to lack of simple

maintenance or oversights, which can be solved

easily without calling out an engineer. Before

contacting your local Service Centre, please

carry out the checks listed below.

During machine operation it is possible that the

red pilot light of button 7 blinks, one of the fol-

lowing alarm codes appears on the display and

some acoustic signals sound every 20 seconds

to indicate that the machine is not working:

•

: problem with the water supply.

•

: problem with the water draining.

•

: door open.

Once the problem has been eliminated, press

the button 7 to restart the programme. If after all

checks, the problem persists, contact your local

Service Centre.

Problem Possible cause/Solution

not start:

The door has not been closed.

The filter in the inlet hose or in the inlet valve filter are blocked.

• Clean the water inlet filters (see ‘Cleaning the water inlet filters’ for

more details).

The door is not properly closed.

• Close the door firmly.

The machine fills then emp-

ties immediately:

The end of the drain hose is too low.

Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings. It is

not always easy to see this as the water runs down the hose; check to

see if it is damp.

• Check the water inlet hose connection.

The drain or inlet hose is damaged.

• Replace it with a new one.

The filter has not been properly screwed in after cleaning action.

• Screw the filter fully in.

Unsatisfactory washing re-

sults:

Too little detergent or unsuitable detergent has been used.

• Increase the detergent quantity or use another one.

Stubborn stains have not been treated prior to washing.

• Use commercial products to treat the stubborn stains.

The correct temperature was not selected.

• Check if you have selected the correct temperature.

Excessive laundry load.

• Reduce the laundry load.

The door will not open:

The programme is still running.

• Wait the end of washing cycle.

The door lock has not been released.

• Wait until the door is released.

There is water in the drum.

• Select drain or spin programme to empty out the water.

The machine vibrates is noisy:

The transit bolts and packing have not been removed.

• Check the correct installation of the appliance.

The support feet have not been adjusted

• Check the correct levelling of the appliance.

The laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum.

• Redistribute the laundry.

Maybe there is very little laundry in the drum.

• Load more laundry.

Spinning starts late or the

machine does not spin:

The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in because the laundry

is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistributed by re-

verse rotation of the drum. This may happen several times before the un-

balance disappears and normal spinning can resume. If, after 10 minutes,

the laundry is still not evenly distributed in the drum, the machine will not

spin. In this case, redistribute the load manually and select the spin pro-

gramme.

• Redistribute the laundry.

The load is too small.

• Add more items, redistribute the load manually and then select the

spinning programme.

The machine makes an un-

usual noise:

The machine is fitted with a type of motor which makes an unusual noise

compared with other traditional motors. This new motor ensures a softer

start and more even distribution of the laundry in the drum when spinning,

as well as increased stability of the machine.

No water is visible in the

drum:

Machines based on modern technology operate very economically using

very little water without affecting performance.

The machine does not dry or

does not dry properly:

The drying time or the dryness degree has not been selected.

• Select the drying time or the dryness degree.

The water tap is not turned on.

• Open the water tap.

The drain filter is clogged.

• Clean the drain filter.

The machine is overloaded.

• Reduce the laundry load in the drum.

The selected drying programme, time or dryness degree was not suitable

for the laundry.

• Select the suitable drying programme, time or dryness degree for the

laundry.

The laundry is full of different

colored fluff:

The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff of a different color

(refer to “Fluff in the garments” in chapter “Use - Washing & Drying”).

• The drying phase helps to eliminate some fluff.

• Clean the clothes with a fluff remover.

In case of an excessive amount of fluff in the drum repeat the following

procedure twice:

• Thoroughly clean the empty drum, the gasket and the door with a wet

rag.

• Perform a rinse cycle.

• Put a wool or piled fabric rag inside the drum.

• Perform a drying cycle of 10 minutes.

• Remove the old wool cloth.

Now you can wash other garments.

Positioning

Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make

sure that air circulation around the machine is

not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Check that

the machine does not touch the wall or other

kitchen units. Level the washing machine by

raising or lowering the feet. The feet may be

tight to adjust as they incorporate a self locking

nut, but the machine MUST be level and stable.

Any necessary adjustment can be made with a

spanner.

Accurate levelling prevents vibration, noise and

displacement of the machine during operation.

Never place cardboard, wood or similar materi-

als under the machine to compensate for any

unevenness in the floor.

If necessary, check

the setting with a spi-

rit level.

Water inlet

downwards. Angle the hose to the left or right

depending on the position of your water tap.

• After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to

tighten the ring nuts again to prevent leaks.

• The inlet hose must not be lengthened. If it

is too short and you do not wish to move

the tap, you will have to purchase a new,

longer hose specially designed for this type

of use.

Water drainage

The end of the drain hose can be positioned in

three ways:

In this case, make sure the end cannot come

unhooked when the machine is emptying. This

could be done by tying it to the tap with a

piece of string or attaching it to the wall.

In a sink drain pipe branch. This branch

must be above the trap so that the bend is at

least 60 cm above the ground.

Directly into a drain pipe at a height of

not less than 60 cm and not more than 90 cm.

The end of the drain hose must always be

ventilated, i.e. the inside diameter of the

drain pipe must be larger than the outside di-

ameter of the drain hose. The drain hose must

not be kinked.

Seguridad general

Instrucciones de seguridad

Instalación

• Retire todo el embalaje y los pasadores de

transporte.

• Guarde los pasadores de transporte. Cuando

vuelva a mover el aparato debe bloquear el

tambor.

• No instale ni utilice un aparato dañado.

Conexión eléctrica

Conexión de agua

Uso del aparato

• No seque prendas como gomaespuma, go-

rros de ducha, tejidos impermeables y pren-

das forradas de goma.

• Antes de secar prendas que hayan entrado

en contacto con sustancias como aceite de

cocina, acetona, alcohol, gasolina, keroseno,

quitamanchas, aguarrás, ceras y quitaceras,

se deben lavar en agua caliente con una can-

tidad adicional de detergente.

• No seque prendas que se hayan limpiado con

productos químicos industriales.

• Asegúrese de que no haya mecheros de gas

ni cerillas en los bolsillos de las prendas.

• Seque únicamente prendas aptas para secar

a máquina. Siga las instrucciones de la eti-

queta de la prenda.

• No utilice el aparato para secar prendas no

lavadas.

• Si ha lavado la ropa con un quitamanchas,

deberá iniciar un ciclo de aclarado adicional

antes de iniciar el aparato.

• Los elementos de plástico no son resistentes

al calor.

Depósito dosificador de detergente

Compartimento del detergente utilizado en la

fase de prelavado y remojo o del quitamanchas

utilizado durante la fase de acción antimanchas

(si está disponible). El detergente de prelavado y

remojo se deposita al principio del programa de

lavado. El quitamanchas se deposita durante la

fase de acción antimanchas.

Compartimento del detergente líquido o en

polvo utilizado en el lavado principal. Si se utiliza

detergente líquido, viértalo justo antes de ini-

ciar el programa.

Compartimento para aditivos líquidos (suavizante, almidón)

Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del producto en cuanto a cantidades y no permita que el de-

tergente supere la marca "MAX" que hay en el depósito dosificador. El suavizante o el almidón se

deben depositar en el compartimento antes de iniciar el programa de lavado.

ra los tejidos de algodón puede elegir un tiem-

po de secado de 10 a 250 minutos (4.10). Para

secado de 10 a 130 minutos (2.10). Cada vez

que pulsa esta tecla, el tiempo de secado au-

menta en 5 min.

recomienda para personas alérgicas al deter-

gente y en zonas en las que el agua es muy

blanda.

INICIO/PAUSA

Este botón permite iniciar o interrumpir el pro-

grama seleccionado.

INICIO DIFERIDO

Mediante este botón, el programa de lavado

puede retrasarse desde 30 min, 60 min, 90 min

y 2 horas y, luego, desde 1 hora hasta un máxi-

mo de 20 horas

PUERTA BLOQUEADA

El piloto 9 se ilumina cuando se inicia el progra-

ma e indica si se puede abrir la puerta:

• encendido: no se puede abrir la puerta. La la-

vadora está funcionando o se ha parado pero

no ha desaguado.

• apagado: se puede abrir la puerta. El progra-

ma ha terminado o la lavadora ha desaguado.

• parpadeante: la puerta se podrá abrir en unos

minutos.

• Inicio diferido

El tiempo de retraso seleccionado mediante la tecla correspondiente aparece en la pantalla du-

rante unos segundos; a continuación se muestra la duración del programa seleccionado previa-

mente. El valor del tiempo diferido disminuye en una unidad cada hora y cuando sólo queda una

hora, disminuye cada minuto.

• Códigos de alarma

En caso de problemas de funcionamiento pueden mostrase algunos códigos de alarma, por

ejemplo

(consulte el capítulo «Qué hacer si...»).

• Selección de opción incorrecta

Cuando se elige una opción incompatible con el programa de lavado seleccionado, la parte in-

ferior de la pantalla muestra el mensaje Err durante unos segundos y el piloto de la tecla 7

empieza a parpadear.

• Fin de programa

Cuando el programa finaliza, se visualiza un cero (

) que parpadea, el piloto 9 y el piloto de la

tecla 7 se apagan y la puerta se puede abrir.

Este programa permite aclarar y centrifugar prendas de al-

godón lavadas a mano. La máquina realiza 3 aclarados, se-

guidos de un centrifugado final largo.

La velocidad de centrifugado se ajusta automática-

mente a la de prendas de algodón. Si fuera necesario,

reduzca la velocidad de centrifugado al nivel que desee con

la tecla correspondiente.

la temperatura del agua de entrada y la tempe-

ratura ambiente.

Consejos útiles

Clasificación de la ropa sucia

Consulte los símbolos de lavado que aparecen

en la etiqueta de la prenda y siga las instruccio-

nes de lavado del fabricante. La ropa se debe

clasificar de la siguiente manera: ropa blanca,

ropa de color, ropa sintética, prendas delicadas

y prendas de lana.

Antes de introducir la ropa sucia

Separe la ropa blanca de la ropa de color y lá-

vela por separado. Las prendas blancas pueden

perder su "blancura" al lavarlas.

La ropa de color nueva puede desteñir durante

el primer lavado; por lo tanto, es preciso lavarla

aparte la primera vez.

Abotone las fundas de almohada y cierre las

cremalleras, ganchos, broches, etc. Ate las co-

rreas o cintas largas.

Quite las manchas difíciles antes de lavar la ro-

pa.

Frote las zonas particularmente sucias con un

detergente especial o en pasta.

Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Lávelas sin los

ganchos o dentro de una bolsa o malla.

Eliminación de manchas

A veces no basta con agua y detergente para

quitar las manchas difíciles. En esos casos es

aconsejable aplicar un tratamiento antes de la-

var las prendas.

Sangre: aplique agua fría a las manchas de

sangre fresca. Si la sangre está seca, debe de-

jar la prenda a remojo en agua con un detergen-

te especial durante la noche y luego frotar con

agua y jabón.

Pintura al aceite: humedezca la mancha con

un quitamanchas a base de disolvente, extienda

la prenda sobre un paño suave y quite la man-

cha; repita el procedimiento varias veces.

Grasa seca: humedezca la mancha con agua-

rrás, extienda la prenda sobre una superficie

suave y quite la mancha con la yema de los de-

dos y un trapo de algodón.

Óxido: utilice ácido oxálico disuelto en agua

caliente o un quitamanchas para óxido en frío.

Tenga cuidado con las manchas de óxido que

no sean recientes, ya que la estructura de la ce-

lulosa se habrá dañado y el tejido tenderá a per-

forarse.

Moho: utilice lejía y aclare bien (prendas blan-

cas y de colores sólidos solamente).

Hierba: utilice un poco de jabón y aplique lejía

(prendas blancas y de colores sólidos solamen-

te).

Tinta y pegamento: humedezca con acetona

, extienda la prenda sobre un paño suave y

quite la mancha.

Pintalabios: humedezca con acetona, como

en el caso anterior, y luego quite la mancha con

alcohol desnaturalizado. Utilice lejía para elimi-

nar las marcas que puedan quedar.

Vino tinto: ponga la prenda a remojo en agua

y detergente, aclare, aplique ácido acético o cí-

trico y vuelva a aclarar. Utilice lejía para eliminar

las marcas que puedan quedar.

Tinta: dependiendo del tipo de tinta, humedez-

ca la prenda en acetona

y luego en ácido

acético; utilice lejía en los tejidos de color blan-

co para eliminar cualquier resto que pueda que-

dar y aclare bien.

Alquitrán: primero aplique un quitamanchas,

alcohol desnaturalizado o disolvente y luego fro-

te la mancha con un detergente en pasta.

Detergentes y aditivos

El resultado del lavado también depende de la

elección del detergente y de las cantidades

adecuadas, que permitan proteger el entorno y

evitar vertidos.

Aunque son biodegradables, los detergentes

contienen sustancias que, en grandes cantida-

des, pueden alterar el delicado equilibrio de la

naturaleza.

La elección del detergente depende del tipo de

tejido (delicado, lana, algodón, etc.), del color,

de la temperatura de lavado y del grado de su-

ciedad.

En esta máquina pueden utilizarse todos los de-

tergentes de lavadora de uso habitual:

• detergente en polvo para todo tipo de pren-

das

• detergente en polvo para prendas delicadas

(60°C máx.) y lana

• detergente líquido para todo tipo de tejidos o

especial para lana, preferiblemente para pro-

gramas de lavado a baja temperatura (60°C

máx.).

El detergente y los aditivos deben introducirse

en los compartimentos correspondientes del

depósito dosificador antes de poner en marcha

el programa de lavado.

Si se utiliza detergente líquido, debe seleccio-

nar un programa sin prelavado.

La lavadora incorpora un sistema de recircula-

ción que garantiza un aprovechamiento óptimo

del detergente concentrado.

Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del pro-

ducto en cuanto a cantidades y no permita

que el detergente supere la marca "MAX"

que hay en el depósito dosificador.

Cantidad de detergente

El tipo y la cantidad de detergente dependen

del tipo de tejido que se va a lavar, así como de

la carga, del grado de suciedad y de la dureza

del agua.

Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del pro-

ducto en lo referente a la cantidad de detergen-

te que se debe utilizar.

Use menos detergente en los casos siguientes:

• si la lavadora tiene poca carga

• si la ropa no está muy sucia

• si se forma mucha espuma durante el lavado.

Grados de dureza del agua

La dureza del agua se clasifica en "grados". Pa-

ra obtener información sobre la dureza del agua

local, puede consultar a la compañía encargada

del suministro o a la administración local. Si el

agua tiene un grado de dureza medio o alto, se

recomienda añadir un descalcificante de agua

de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante

del mismo. Cuando el agua sea blanda, bastará

con ajustar la dosis de detergente.

Consejos de secado

Preparación del ciclo de secado

Como secadora, la máquina funciona según el

principio de condensación.

Por lo tanto, el grifo debe estar abierto y

la manguera de desagüe debe colocarse

en la pila o en la tubería de descarga, in-

cluso durante el ciclo de secado.

¡Importante!

Para obtener un buen rendimiento de secado,

reduzca la carga de las prendas lavadas.

Ropa no adecuada para el secado

• En especial las prendas especialmente deli-

cadas, como cortinas sintéticas, lana, seda,

telas con adornos metálicos, medias de nai-

lon, prendas voluminosas (como anoraks,

mantas, edredones, sacos de dormir, colchas

de pluma) no deben secarse a máquina.

• No seque ropa oscura con prendas de color

claro afelpadas, como toallas, ya que podría

atraer la pelusa.

• Retire las prendas de la máquina una vez fi-

nalizado el secado.

• Para evitar la aparición de cargas estáticas

una vez finalizado el secado, utilice un suavi-

zante cuando lave la ropa o uno específico

para secadoras.

• Los tejidos con rellenos de caucho poroso o

materiales similares al caucho no pueden se-

carse a máquina, ya que pueden provocar un

incendio.

• Tampoco deben secarse a máquina tejidos

que contengan restos de lociones o lacas pa-

ra el cabello, quitaesmaltes o soluciones simi-

lares, para evitar la formación de vapores no-

civos.

El detergente y los aditivos deben introducirse

en los compartimentos correspondientes del

depósito dosificador antes de poner en marcha

el programa de lavado.

Si se utiliza detergente líquido, debe seleccio-

nar un programa sin prelavado.

La lavadora incorpora un sistema de recircula-

ción que garantiza un aprovechamiento óptimo

Etiquetas de las prendas

Al realizar el secado, siga las indicaciones de la

etiqueta del fabricante:

•

= admite secado en secadora

•

= admite secado a alta temperatura

•

= admite secado a temperatura reducida

•

= no admite secadora

Duración del ciclo de secado

El tiempo de secado puede variar dependiendo

de:

• la velocidad del centrifugado final

• el grado de secado necesario (seco plancha,

seco armario)

• el tipo de prenda

• el peso de las prendas cargadas en la máqui-

na.

Para conocer el tiempo medio de secado para

un secado temporizado, consulte el capítulo

"Programas de secado". La experiencia le ayu-

dará a secar sus prendas de un modo más ade-

cuado al tipo de tejido de que se trate. Anote la

duración de los ciclos de secado ya finalizados.

Secado adicional

Si las prendas siguen húmedas al final del pro-

grama, vuelva a seleccionar un ciclo de secado

corto.

Advertencia No seque en exceso las

prendas y así evitará que éstas se

arruguen o encojan.

Primer uso

• Compruebe que las conexiones eléctri-

cas e hidráulicas cumplen las instruccio-

nes de instalación.

• Retire el bloque de poliestireno y cual-

quier otro material del tambor.

• Antes del primer lavado, ponga en mar-

cha un programa de algodón a tempera-

tura máxima y sin ropa para eliminar

cualquier residuo de fabricación que

pueda haber en la cuba y en el tambor.

Vierta la mitad de una dosis de deter-

gente en el depósito dosificador y pon-

ga en marcha la máquina.

Personalización

Señales acústicas

La máquina incorpora un dispositivo acústico

que suena en los siguientes casos:

• al final del programa

• si se produce un fallo.

Al presionar los botones 4 y 5 simultáneamente

durante unos 6 segundos se desactiva la señal

acústica (excepto si se ha producido un fallo).

Si se vuelven a presionar estos 2 botones se

reactiva la señal acústica.

Bloqueo para niños

La lavadora dispone de un bloqueo para niños

que permite dejarla sin supervisión para que no

tenga que preocuparse de si los niños se lesio-

narán con la lavadora o provocarán daños en

ella. Esta función también permanece activada

cuando la lavadora no está en funcionamiento.

Esta opción se puede ajustar de dos maneras:

1. Antes de presionar el botón 7: es imposible

poner la máquina en marcha.

2. Después de presionar el botón 7: será im-

posible cambiar cualquier otro programa u

opción.

Para activar o desactivar esta opción, presione

a la vez los botones 2 y 3 durante 6 segundos

hasta que el icono

aparezca o desaparezca

del indicador.

Uso diario

Cargue la ropa

Mida la dosis de detergente y suavizante

Tire del depósito dosificador hasta el tope.

Mida la dosis de detergente necesaria y viér-

tala en el compartimento de lavado principal

o en el compartimento correspondiente al

programa/opción seleccionados (consulte los

detalles en "Depósito del dosificador").

Si es necesario, añada suavizante en el com-

partimiento que lleva el símbolo

(la canti-

dad utilizada no debe rebasar la marca "MAX"

del depósito). Cierre el depósito suavemente

Seleccione el programa que desee con el

Gire el selector hasta el programa que desee.

El piloto verdel del botón 7 empieza a parpa-

dear. El selector de programas puede girarse

hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda.

Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para reiniciar el programa o apagar la máqui-

na.

Al final del programa, el selector debe si-

tuarse en la posición

para apagar la la-

vadora.

Importante Si gira el selector hasta otro

programa mientras la lavadora está

funcionando, el piloto rojo del botón 7 Err

parpadeará 3 veces y la aparición del mensaje

indicará que se ha realizado una selección

incorrecta. La máquina no pondrá en marcha el

nuevo programa seleccionado.

Seleccione la velocidad de centrifugado

con el botón 2

Cuando selecciona un programa, el electrodo-

méstico propone de forma automática la veloci-

dad de centrifugado máxima que puede alcan-

zar dicho programa. (Consulte la máxima veloci-

dad de centrifugado en "Programas de lavado".)

Presione este botón varias veces si desea cen-

trifugar la colada a una velocidad diferente. Se

enciende el piloto correspondiente.

Seleccione las opciones disponibles con

las teclas 5 y 6

Es posible combinar distintas funciones según

el programa. La funciones deben seleccionarse

después de elegir el programa y antes de ini-

ciarlo. Al pulsar estas teclas se encienden los

pilotos correspondientes. Si se vuelven a pulsar,

los pilotos se apagan. Si se selecciona una op-

ción incorrecta, el piloto rojo de la tecla 7 par-

padea 3 veces y aparece el mensaje Err duran-

te unos segundos.

Consulte la compatibilidad entre los programas

de lavado y las opciones correspondientes en

"Programas de lavado".

Inicie el programa con la tecla 7

Para iniciar el programa seleccionado, presione

este botón; el piloto verde correspondiente deja

de parpadear.

El piloto 9 se enciende para indicar que la lava-

dora se está poniendo en marcha y que la puer-

ta está bloqueada.

Si ha seleccionado un inicio diferido, la lavadora

comienza la cuenta atrás.

Importante Si selecciona una opción

incorrecta, el mensaje Err se muestra durante

unos segundos y el piloto rojo de este botón

parpadea 3 veces.

Seleccione el inicio diferido con la tecla 8

Si desea retrasar el inicio antes de iniciar el pro-

grama, presione este botón para seleccionar el

intervalo de inicio diferido que desee.

El tiempo de retraso seleccionado aparece en

el indicador durante unos segundos y después

se vuelve a mostrar la duración del programa.

Esta opción debe seleccionarse después de

elegir el programa y antes de iniciarlo.

Es posible cancelar o modificar el intervalo de

retraso en cualquier momento antes presionar el

botón 7.

Selección del inicio diferido:

1. Seleccione el programa y las opciones ne-

cesarias.

2. Seleccione el inicio diferido con el botón 8.

3. Presione el botón 7:

- La lavadora inicia la cuenta atrás horaria.

- El programa se inicia una vez finalizado el

intervalo de retraso seleccionado.

Cancelación del inicio diferido después de ini-

ciar el programa:

1. Presione el botón 7 para poner la lavadora

en PAUSA.

2. Pulse la tecla 8 una vez. En la pantalla apa-

recerá

3. Vuelva a presionar el botón 7para iniciar el

programa.

Importante

• El intervalo de retraso seleccionado sólo se

podrá modificar una vez se haya vuelto a se-

leccionar el programa de lavado.

• La puerta permanecerá bloqueada el tiempo

que dure el intervalo. Si necesita abrir la

puerta, primero debe poner la lavadora en

PAUSA presionando el botón 7 y esperar

unos minutos. Cuando cierre la puerta, vuelva

a presionar el mismo botón.

Importante El inicio diferido no puede

seleccionarse con el programa de descarga.

Modificación de una opción o de un

programa en marcha

Es posible cambiar cualquier opción antes de

que el programa se inicie.

Antes de realizar cambios, es preciso detener

momentáneamente la lavadora presionando el

botón 7.

El cambio de un programa en marcha sólo pue-

de realizarse reiniciándolo. Gire el selector de

programas hasta

y luego hasta la posición

del nuevo programa. Para poner en marcha el

nuevo programa, vuelva a pulsar la tecla 7.

El agua de la cuba no se vaciará.

Interrupción de un programa

Presione el botón 7 ara interrumpir el programa

en marcha; el piloto correspondiente empieza a

parpadear. Vuelva a presionar el botón para rei-

niciar el programa.

Cancelación de un programa

Gire el selector de programas hasta para

cancelar un programa en marcha. Después

puede seleccionar otro programa.

Apertura de la puerta una vez iniciado el

programa

En primer lugar, ponga la lavadora en pausa con

la tecla 7.

La puerta se podrá abrir en cuanto se apague el

piloto 9.

Si el piloto 9 permanece encendido, la máquina

ya está en fase de calentamiento o el nivel de

agua es demasiado alto. ¡No trate de forzar la

puerta en ningún caso!

Si no puede abrir la puerta pero es indispensa-

ble hacerlo, apague la máquina girando el se-

lector de programas hasta la posición

Transcurridos unos minutos podrá abrir la puer-

ta.

(¡Preste atención al nivel del agua y a la

temperatura!).

Cuando cierre la puerta, tendrá que volver a se-

leccionar el programa, las opciones y pulsar la

tecla 7.

Al final del programa

El aparato se para automáticamente. El símbolo

intermitente aparece en la pantalla, el piloto

de la tecla 7 y el piloto 9 se apagan.

Si se ha seleccionado un programa u opción

que finaliza dejando agua en la cuba, el piloto 9

permanece encendido y la puerta está bloquea-

da para indicar que el agua debe descargarse

antes de abrirla.

Antes de vaciar el agua, el tambor sigue funcio-

nando a intervalos regulares hasta que se drena

el agua.

Siga las instrucciones que se indican a conti-

nuación para vaciar el agua:

1. Gire el selector de programas hasta la po-

sición

2. Seleccione el programa de descarga o de

centrifugado.

3. Reduzca la velocidad de centrifugado, si es

necesario, mediante el botón correspon-

diente.

4. Presione el botón 7.

Al final del programa, la puerta se desbloquea y

es posible abrirla. Gire el selector de programas

hasta

para apagar la máquina.

Retire las prendas del tambor y cerciórese de

que el tambor queda vacío. Si no va a realizar

otro lavado, cierre la toma del agua. Deje la

puerta abierta para evitar la aparición de moho y

olores desagradables.

En espera : una vez finalizado el programa, al

cabo de unos minutos se activa el sistema de

ahorro de energía. Se reduce el brillo de la pan-

talla. Al pulsar cualquier tecla, el aparato aban-

dona el estado de ahorro de energía.

Uso - Secado

Sólo secado

Precaución

La carga máxima recomendada es de 4 kg para

tejidos de algodón y lino y de 3 kg para sintéti-

cos.

Pulsando la tecla Tiempo de secado

pueden secarse también hasta 6 kg de

prendas de algodón (consulte la tabla «Progra-

mas de secado»).

Precaución

El grifo debe estar abierto y la manguera

de desagüe debe colocarse en la pila o

conectarse a la tubería de desagüe.

1. Cargue la ropa.

2. Para obtener los mejores resultados, selec-

cione un ciclo de centrifugado a la veloci-

dad máxima permitida para el tipo de cola-

da.

3. Seleccione el programa de secado para Al-

godón o Sintéticos en el sector Secado del

selector de programas.

4. Si desea seleccionar un secado automá-

tico (sólo para prendas de algodón y sinté-

ticas), pulse la tecla 3 hasta que se encien-

da la luz del piloto correspondiente al nivel

de secado elegido.

5. Si desea seleccionar un secado tempori-

zado, pulse la tecla 4 hasta que el periodo

de tiempo que busca aparezca en la panta-

lla (consulte la tabla «Programas de seca-

do»). Cada pulsación de la tecla aumenta el

tiempo de secado en 5 minutos.

El tiempo del programa se incrementará

automáticamente en algunos minutos.

6. Pulse la tecla 7 para iniciar el programa. El

tiempo que quede se actualiza cada minu-

to.

7. Al final del programa comienza a sonar la

señal acústica. El símbolo

aparece en la

pantalla. El piloto de la puerta 9 está en-

cendido.

Los últimos minutos del ciclo de secado

corresponden a la fase antiarrugas. Durante

este tiempo, la puerta está bloqueada. La

pantalla muestra

intermitente.

Al final de la fase antiarrugas el icono de

puerta bloqueada 9 se apaga.

Si desea abrir la puerta antes de la fase

antiarrugas o durante la misma, o si desea

interrumpirla, pulse cualquier tecla o gire el se-

lector de programas y colóquelo en cualquier

posición (excepto ).

8. Gire el selector de programas hasta la po-

sición

para apagar el aparato.

9. Saque las prendas del tambor.

El resultado depende de los distintos tipos

de algodón (toallas, sábanas, camisas,

etc.) o de la disposición de las prendas durante

la fase de centrifugado. En el caso poco proba-

ble de que la ropa siga húmeda al final del ciclo

de secado, sugerimos que despliegue las pren-

das enrolladas, las distribuya uniformemente en

el tambor y seleccione después un ciclo de se-

cado adicional de 20 a 30 minutos.

Si ajusta sólo 10 minutos de fase de seca-

do con la tecla tiempo de secado (4), el

aparato sólo ejecuta una fase de enfriamiento.

Uso - Lavado y secado

Programa SIN PAUSAS - Lavado y secado

automáticos

La carga máxima es de 4 kg para tejidos de al-

godón y de 3 kg para sintéticos.

Precaución No utilice dispositivos de

dosificación de detergente para los

programas de lavado y secado.

1. Cargue la ropa.

2. Añada el detergente y el suavizante.

3. Encienda la máquina girando el selector de

programas hasta el programa de lavado/te-

jido seleccionado.

4. Seleccione las opciones necesarias con las

teclas apropiadas.

Siempre que sea posible, no seleccio-

ne una velocidad de centrifugado in-

ferior a la propuesta por el electrodomés-

tico, pues así evitará que el tiempo de se-

cado sea demasiado largo y ahorrará

energía.

En cualquier caso, la reducción de la velo-

cidad de centrifugado sólo es posible des-

pués de seleccionar el secado.

En el caso de algodones y sintéticos, el va-

lor más bajo que puede seleccionarse es

de 900 rpm.

5. Seleccione el grado de secado con la tecla

programa de lavado y el ciclo de secado

6. Inicie el programa pulsando la tecla 7. El

tiempo que quede se actualiza cada minuto

Programa SIN PAUSAS - Lavado y secado

temporizados

La carga máxima recomendada es de 4 kg para

tejidos de algodón y de 3 kg para sintéticos.

También es posible secar hasta 6 kg de te-

jidos de algodón (consulte la tabla «Pro-

gramas de secado»).

Precaución No utilice dispositivos de

dosificación de detergente para los

programas de lavado y secado.

1. Cargue la colada y añada el detergente y el

suavizante.

Pelusa en las prendas

Durante la FASE DE LAVADO Y/O SECADO,

algunos tipos de tejidos, como esponja, lana o

sudaderas, pueden soltar pelusa.

La pelusa podría adherirse a los tejidos en el si-

guiente ciclo.

Este inconveniente aumenta con los tejidos téc-

nicos.

Para evitar pelusas en sus prendas, se re-

comienda lo siguiente:

• No lavar tejidos oscuros tras haber lavado y

secado tejidos claros (sobre todo toallas, la-

na y sudaderas) y viceversa.

• Secar al aire este tipo de tejidos la primera

vez que los lave.

• Para limpiar el filtro de desagüe.

• Después de la fase de secado, limpie a fondo

el tambor vacío, la junta y la puerta con un

paño húmedo.

Para eliminar las pelusas del interior del

tambor, ejecute un programa especial de

limpieza:

• Vacíe y limpie el tambor, la junta y la puerta

con un paño húmedo.

• Gire el selector hasta el programa de aclara-

do.

• Active la función de limpieza pulsando las

teclas 5 y 8 al mismo tiempo hasta que la

pantalla muestre CLE.

• Pulse la tecla 7 para iniciar el programa.

Mantenimiento y limpieza

Advertencia Es preciso DESCONECTAR

el aparato de la red eléctrica antes de

realizar cualquier tarea de limpieza o

mantenimiento.

Desincrustación

El agua corriente que utilizamos suele contener

cal. Se recomienda utilizar un producto en polvo

de descalcificación del agua en la lavadora pe-

riódicamente. Realice esta tarea con indepen-

dencia de cualquier ciclo de lavado y de acuer-

do con las instrucciones del fabricante del pro-

ducto descalcificador. Esto ayudará a prevenir

la formación de depósitos de cal.

Limpieza del exterior

Limpie la carcasa exterior del electrodoméstico

con agua y jabón únicamente y, a continuación,

séquelo completamente.

Limpieza de la cubeta de detergente

La cubeta del detergente y de los aditivos de la-

vado debe limpiarse con regularidad.

Limpieza del hueco de la cubeta

Después de extraer la

cubeta, utilice un ce-

gurándose de eliminar

inferior del hueco.

Vuelva a colocar la cubeta y ponga en marcha

el programa de aclarado sin colada en el tam-

bor.

Limpieza de la bomba

La bomba debería inspeccionarse con regulari-

dad, especialmente en caso de que:

• el aparato no descargue o no centrifugue;

• el aparato presente un ruido extraño durante

la descarga porque haya objetos, como im-

perdibles, monedas, etcétera, que obstruyan

la bomba;

• se detecte un problema con la descarga del

agua (consulte la sección “Qué hacer si...”

para obtener más información).

Advertencia

Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de co-

rriente.

2. No quite el filtro mientras el aparato esté en

funcionamiento. No limpie la bomba de de-

sagüe si el agua del aparato está caliente.

El agua debe enfriarse para limpiar la bom-

ba de desagüe.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

Abra la puerta de acceso a la bomba.

Coloque un recipiente debajo del hueco de la

bomba de desagüe para recoger el agua que

salga.

Pulse las dos palancas y tire del conducto de

desagüe para que salga el agua.

Cuando el recipiente esté lleno de agua, vuel-

va a colocar el conducto de desagüe y vacíe

el recipiente. Realice los pasos 3 y 4 repeti-

damente hasta que no salga más agua de la

bomba de desagüe.

Retire el conducto de desagüe.

Desenrosque el filtro y quítelo.

Retire las pelusas y los objetos de la bomba.

Asegúrese de que el rotor de la bomba gira.

Si no es así, póngase en contacto con el ser-

vicio técnico.

Limpie el filtro debajo de la toma de agua y

vuelva a colocarlo en la bomba en las guías

especiales.

Asegúrese de apretar el filtro correctamente

para evitar fugas.

Cierre la puerta de la bomba.

Precaución Cuando el aparato está en

marcha, dependiendo del programa

seleccionado, puede haber agua caliente en la

bomba.

Nunca extraiga la tapa de la bomba durante un

ciclo de lavado, espere siempre a que el

aparato haya terminado y esté vacío. Al volver a

colocar la tapa de la bomba, asegúrese de

apretarla firmemente para impedir que se

produzcan fugas y que los niños puedan

sacarla.

Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de agua

Importante Si el aparato no se llena de agua,

tarda mucho en llenarse, la tecla de inicio

parpadea en color amarillo o la pantalla (si la

hay) muestra la alarma correspondiente

(consulte el capítulo “Qué hacer si...” para

obtener más información), compruebe si los

filtros de entrada de agua están bloqueados.

Para limpiar los filtros de entrada de agua:

• Cierre la toma de

agua.

• Desenrosque la

manguera de la to-

ma de agua.

• Limpie el filtro de la

manguera con un

cepillo rígido.

• Vuelva a enroscar la manguera en la toma

de agua. Compruebe que la conexión esté

bien ajustada.

• Desenrosque la manguera de la máquina.

Procure tener un paño a mano porque pue-

de salir algo de agua.

• Limpie el filtro en la válvula con un cepillo

rígido o con un trozo de tela.

• Vuelva a enroscar la manguera en la máqui-

na y compruebe que la conexión esté bien

ajustada.

• Abra la toma de agua.

Medidas anticongelación

Si la lavadora está instalada en un lugar donde

la temperatura puede descender por debajo de

0 °C, retire el agua restante de la manguera de

entrada y la bomba de desagüe.

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de co-

rriente.

2. Cierre la llave de agua

3. desenrosque la manguera de entrada del

agua del grifo;

4. coloque los dos extremos de la manguera

de entrada en un recipiente y deje que sal-

ga el agua.

5. Vacíe la bomba de desagüe como se des-

cribe en la sección "Desagüe de emergen-

cia".

6. Cuando la bomba de desagüe esté vacía,

coloque de nuevo la manguera de entrada

de agua.

Advertencia

Asegúrese de que la temperatura es superior a

0 °C antes de usar de nuevo el aparato.

El fabricante no se hace responsable de los da-

ños derivados de las bajas temperaturas.

Desagüe de emergencia

Si el aparato no descarga, proceda de la si-

guiente manera para vaciarlo:

1. desconecte el enchufe de la toma de co-

rriente;

2. cierre la llave de agua;

3. en caso necesario, espere a que el agua se

enfríe;

4. abra la puerta de la bomba;

5. coloque un recipiente en el suelo, debajo

del hueco de la bomba de desagüe;

6. presione las dos palancas y tire del con-

ducto de desagüe para que salga el agua;

7. cuando el recipiente esté lleno de agua,

vuelva a colocar el conducto de desagüe y

vacíe el recipiente;

repita el procedimiento hasta que deje de

salir agua;

8. en caso necesario, limpie la bomba (con-

sulte la sección "Limpieza de la bomba");

9. cierre la puerta de la bomba.

Cuando se extrae el agua con el proceso de

desagüe de emergencia, se debe activar de

nuevo el sistema de desagüe:

1. Coloque dos litros de agua en el comparti-

miento de lavado principal del dosificador

de detergente.

2. Inicie el programa para descargar el agua.

Qué hacer si…

Algunos problemas, que pueden deberse senci-

llamente a falta de mantenimiento o a descui-

dos, pueden resolverse sin necesidad de llamar

al servicio técnico. Antes de ponerse en con-

tacto con el centro de servicio técnico local,

realice las comprobaciones indicadas en la lista

siguiente.

Durante el funcionamiento de la lavadora, es

posible que el piloto rojo del botón 7 parpadee,

que uno de los códigos de alarma siguientes

aparezca en el indicador y que se emitan algu-

nas señales acústicas cada 20 segundos para

indicar que la lavadora no está funcionando

•

: problema con el suministro de agua.

•

: problema con el desagüe.

•

: puerta abierta.

Cuando se haya solucionado el problema, pulse

la tecla 7 para reiniciar el programa Si no consi-

gue resolver el problema después de realizar to-

das las comprobaciones pertinentes, póngase

en contacto con el centro de servicio técnico.

La manguera de entrada de agua está doblada o retorcida.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de entrada de agua.

El filtro de la manguera de entrada o el de la válvula de entrada está obs-

truido.

• Limpie los filtros de entrada de agua (para obtener más información,

consulte la sección "Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de agua").

La puerta no está bien cerrada.

• Cierre bien la puerta.

La lavadora se llena de agua,

pero se vacía de inmediato:

El extremo de la manguera de desagüe está demasiado bajo.

• Consulte el apartado correspondiente de la sección "Desagüe".

La máquina no desagua, no

centrifuga o ambas cosas:

La manguera de desagüe está doblada o retorcida.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de desagüe.

El filtro de descarga está obstruido.

• Limpie el filtro de descarga.

Se ha seleccionado una opción o programa que finaliza con agua dentro

de la cuba o uno que elimina todas las fases de centrifugado.

Se ha utilizado demasiado detergente o un detergente inadecuado (que

produce demasiada espuma).

• Reduzca la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

Compruebe si hay fugas en alguno de los racores de la manguera de en-

trada de agua. No siempre resulta fácil detectar las fugas, ya que el agua

desciende por la manguera. Compruebe si está mojado.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de entrada de agua.

La manguera de desagüe o de entrada está dañada.

• Sustitúyala por una nueva.

No se ha enroscado el filtro correctamente después de haberlo limpiado.

• Enrosque el filtro hasta el fondo.

Los resultados del lavado no

son satisfactorios:

Se ha utilizado poco detergente o un detergente inadecuado.

• Aumente la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

No se han tratado las manchas difíciles antes de lavar la ropa.

• Emplee productos comerciales para tratar las manchas difíciles.

No se ha seleccionado la temperatura adecuada.

• Compruebe si ha seleccionado la temperatura correcta.

Se han metido demasiadas prendas en la lavadora.

• Reduzca la carga.

La puerta no se abre:

El programa aún está en marcha.

• Espere hasta que finalice el ciclo de lavado.

No se ha desbloqueado el cierre de la puerta.

• Espere hasta que se desbloquee el cierre.

Hay agua en el tambor.

• Seleccione el programa de descarga o centrifugado para vaciar el

agua.

El aparato vibra y hace mu-

cho ruido:

No se han quitado los pasadores ni el material de embalaje utilizados pa-

ra transportarlo.

• Compruebe si el aparato se ha instalado correctamente.

No se han ajustado las patas de apoyo

• Compruebe que el aparato está correctamente nivelado.

Las prendas no están distribuidas uniformemente en el tambor.

• Vuelva a distribuir las prendas.

Es posible que haya muy pocas prendas en el tambor.

Problema Posible causa/Solución

El centrifugado se retrasa o el

aparato no centrifuga:

El dispositivo que detecta desequilibrios en la carga ha interrumpido el

proceso debido a que las prendas no están uniformemente distribuidas

en el tambor. La ropa se redistribuye mediante la rotación inversa del

tambor. Es posible que el tambor gire varias veces antes de que deje de

detectarse el problema y se reanude el centrifugado. Si la carga no se

distribuye uniformemente en el tambor después de 10 minutos, la lavado-

ra no centrifugará. En este caso, redistribuya la carga manualmente y se-

leccione el programa de centrifugado.

• Vuelva a distribuir las prendas.

La carga es insuficiente.

• Añada más prendas, redistribuya la carga manualmente y seleccione el

programa de centrifugado.

La lavadora emite un ruido

extraño:

La lavadora incorpora un tipo de motor que emite un ruido extraño com-

parado con el de otros motores tradicionales. Este nuevo motor garantiza

un inicio más suave e incluso una mejor distribución de las prendas en el

tambor durante el centrifugado, así como una mayor estabilidad de la la-

vadora.

No se ve agua en el tambor:

Las lavadoras de tecnología moderna están diseñadas para economizar y

emplean muy poca agua, sin que ello afecte al rendimiento.

La máquina no seca o no lo

hace adecuadamente:

No se ha seleccionado la duración o el grado de secado.

• Seleccione la duración o el grado de secado.

La llave del agua está cerrada.

• Abra la llave del agua.

El filtro de descarga está obstruido.

• Limpie el filtro de descarga.

La máquina está sobrecargada.

• Reduzca la carga de colada en el tambor.

El programa de secado, la duración o el grado de secado no son ade-

cuados para la colada en cuestión.

• Seleccione un programa de secado, una duración o un grado de seca-

do adecuados.

La colada está llena de pelu-

sas de diferente color:

Los tejidos lavados en el ciclo anterior han soltado pelusas de diferentes

colores (consulte “Pelusas en las prendas” en la secci'on "Uso - Lavado

y secado").

• La fase de secado ayuda a eliminar algo de pelusa.

• Limpie las prendas con un quitapelusas.

En caso de que haya una cantidad excesiva de pelusas en el tambor, re-

pita el siguiente procedimiento dos veces:

• Limpie a fondo el tambor vacío, la junta y la puerta con un paño húme-

do.

• Realice un ciclo de aclarado.

• Coloque un paño de lana o terciopelo en el interior del tambor.

• Realice un ciclo de secado de 10 minutos.

• Saque el paño.

Ahora ya puede lavar otras prendas.

Colocación

Instale la máquina en el suelo sobre una superfi-

cie plana y rígida. Asegúrese de que el aire cir-

cula correctamente alrededor de la lavadora

aunque haya moqueta, alfombras, etc. Com-

pruebe que la máquina no toca la pared ni otros

muebles o elementos. Nivele la lavadora subien-

do o bajando las patas. Puede que resulte difícil

ajustar las patas, ya que incorporan una tuerca

de seguridad, pero DEBEN estar niveladas y

estables.

Los ajustes necesarios pueden realizarse con

una llave.

Un nivelado correcto evita las vibraciones, el rui-

do y el desplazamiento de la lavadora durante el

funcionamiento. No coloque cartón, madera ni

otros materiales similares bajo la máquina para

compensar los desniveles del suelo.

Si es necesario, com-

pruebe el ajuste con

Entrada de agua

Conecte el tubo a

• Después de situar el tubo, vuelva a apretar

las contratuercas para evitar fugas de agua.

• No utilice prolongaciones para el tubo de

entrada de agua. Si es demasiado corto y

no desea mover la toma de agua, tendrá

que adquirir un tubo más largo diseñado

especialmente para estos casos.

Desagüe

El extremo de la manguera de desagüe se pue-

de instalar de tres maneras distintas:

Sujeto por encima

del borde de un

fregadero median-

te la guía de plásti-

co.

En tal caso, asegúrese de que el extremo del

tubo no se desenganche cuando la lavadora

esté desaguando. Para evitarlo, puede fijarlo a

la toma de agua con una brida o sujetarlo a la

pared.

En un empalme de derivación para des-

carga en el fregadero. El empalme debe

estar encima de la toma para que haya 60 cm

como mínimo entre el codo y el suelo.

Directamente en un tubo de desagüe a

una altura superior 60 cm e inferior a 90 cm.

El extremo de la manguera de desagüe debe

estar siempre ventilado, lo que significa que

el diámetro interno del tubo de desagüe debe

ser mayor que el diámetro externo de la man-

guera. El tubo de descarga no debe estar re-

torcido.

Aspectos medioambientales

El símbolo que aparece en el aparato o en su

embalaje, indica que este producto no se puede

tratar como un residuo normal del hogar. Se

deberá entregar, sin coste para el poseedor,

bien al distribuidor, en el acto de la compra de

un nuevo producto similar al que se deshecha,

bien a un punto municipal de recolección

selectiva de equipos eléctricos y electrónicos

para su reciclaje. Al asegurarse de que este

producto se desecha correctamente, usted

ayudará a evitar posibles consecuencias

negativas para el medio ambiente y la salud

pública, lo cual podría ocurrir si este producto

no se gestionara de forma adecuada. Para

obtener información más detallada sobre el

reciclaje de este producto, póngase en

Consejos ecológicos

A continuación ofrecemos algunos consejos pa-

ra ahorrar agua y energía y ayudar a proteger el

medio ambiente:

• La ropa que no esté demasiado sucia se pue-

de lavar con un programa que no incluya pre-

lavado a fin de ahorrar detergente, agua y

tiempo (y proteger el medio ambiente).

• El lavado resulta más económico si la lavado-

ra se llena por completo.

• Con un tratamiento previo adecuado es posi-

ble eliminar manchas y suciedad moderada;

de manera que la ropa se pueda lavar a me-

nos temperatura.

• Dosifique el detergente en función de la du-

reza del agua, el grado de suciedad y la can-

tidad de ropa que se va a lavar.
