Behold! The newest incarnation of one of our most beloved pedals ever, the Disaster Transport.
™
And don’t be confused, the name isn’t talking about that one Uber experience you had where the
driver reeked like a dumpster of diapers, missed all of the exits, and talked your ear o about his
ex-wife. We’re talking Disaster Transport OG – an analog-voiced digital delay that can teleport
your sound into the stratosphere.
We initially set out to recreate the original Disaster Transport pedal in its earliest form, but the
OG of EQD, Jamie Stillman, couldn’t resist tinkering and improving the whole thing, so you just
got upgraded, my friend. In doing so, we redesigned the delay line to reduce the noise floor and
improve the quality of the delay. We boosted the output with a cleaner mixing section; it’s now
filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. This delay pedal sits
perfectly in the background with more of an evolved ambiance to it, but it can be dialed in for more
of a dramatic eect of your choosing.
For those of you well versed in the pedal’s celebrated history, you might notice some dierences
on this beautifully sparkly box. We’ve added a Mod Mode switch that allows you to choose
between bending (Bend) and stretching (Stretch) the modulation wave. The Bend setting oers
a subtler vibe closer to a traditional chorus sound, while the new Stretch option gives you loads of
pitch-stretching modulation to run wild with.
The other dierence you probably spotted with your eagle eye is the Mod Speed three-position
toggle switch that oers Slow (S), Fast (F), and Medium (M) settings. The Slow setting is
excruciatingly slow and can produce bizarrely animated gradual climbs and steep drop os. The
Fast setting can go from a rapid chorus to an intense vibrato, while the Medium setting is the most
traditional rate similar to the classic Memory Man circuit with a nice range to it.
The newly designed enclosure features knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and
Time, with Modulate and Activate switches, making this a highly customizable pedal to get the
delay sound of your dreams. Thanks to the ramp modulation circuitry, you can turn the delay time
down and start to use feedback and modulation at a higher setting to harness a bizarre modulator
and achieve subtle to wild chorus-type eects. Or set your delay time how you want to set it and
use your modulation rates to set your tempo, so you can strum or pluck to the climbs and drop os
to match your ris. The possibilities are endless. So, without further delay, enjoy this del… Well,
err. We kinda painted ourselves into a corner there. Anyway, enjoy this pedal!

SPEED
Controls the speed of the modulation. The Speed operates in three ranges (Slow/Fast/
Medium) selected by the Mod Speed toggle switch. The Disaster Transport OG uses
a Ramp wave for the modulation. You’ll find this to be much more intense than most
modulated delays. Think of it as a traditional Triangle wave that falls o a cli in mid-cycle,
creating a drastic pitch bend in its wake. Or don’t and just think about whatever you want.
INTENSITY
Controls how much the LFO modulates the delay time. More subtle chorus type eects
are achieved with less intensity and more intensity will yield wild pitch stretching and
bending. The overall modulation style can be made more or less subtle by using the Mod
Mode toggle switch to select Bend or Stretch.
MIX
Sets the volume level for the delay signal. Hear more of what you just played 30-600ms
ago by turning this up.
REPEATS
Controls the intensity of delay feedback from no repeats at zero to self-oscillation at max.
Let the past pile up on you until it implodes.
TIME
Sets the delay time from around 30ms at zero to 600ms at max. Everyone needs more
time; all we can oer you is about 600ms worth.
MOD SPEED
Three position toggle switch that sets the range in which the Rate operates.

FLEXI-SWITCH® TECHNOLOGY
This device features Flexi-Switch Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style
allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching-style switching.
• For standard latching operation: Tap the footswitch once to activate the eect and then tap
again to bypass.
• For momentary operation: With the eect o, hold the footswitch down for as long as you’d like
to use the eect. Once you release the switch, the eect will be bypassed.
Since the switching is relay-based, it requires power to pass signal.

recommend using a pedal-specific, transformer-isolated, wall-wart power supply or a power

power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not
always filter dirty power and may result in unwanted noise.

Cada Disaster Transport es cultivado de forma orgánica en los campos de Akron, Ohio, EE. UU.,
utilizando tan solo la tierra y el abono más exclusivos hasta que están perfectamente maduros
para su recolección.
SPEED
Controla la velocidad de la modulación. La velocidad actúa en tres rangos (lento/rápido/
medio) seleccionados por el interruptor Mod Speed. El Disaster Transport OG utiliza una
onda de rampa para la modulación. Descubrirá que esto es mucho más intenso que en la
mayoría de los retardos modulados. Piense en ello como en una onda triangular tradicional

™ Et ne soyez pas confus, le nom ne parle pas de cette expérience Uber que vous avez
eue, où le chaueur puait comme une benne à ordures de couches, a raté toutes les sorties et
a parlé de son ex-femme. Nous parlons de Disaster Transport OG - un délai numérique au son
analogique qui peut téléporter votre son dans la stratosphère.
Nous avions initialement prévu de recréer la pédale Disaster Transport originale dans sa forme la
plus ancienne, mais l’OG (Le créateur original) d’EQD, Jamie Stillman, n’a pas pu résister à bricoler
et à améliorer le tout, alors mon ami, ce que vous avez dans les mains est une véritable mise à
niveau. Ce faisant, nous avons repensé la ligne de délai pour réduire le bruit de fond et améliorer
sa qualité. Nous avons augmenté le niveau de sortie avec une section de mixage plus propre ; il
est maintenant filtré pour ressembler davantage à un délai analogique que n’importe laquelle des
versions précédentes. Cette pédale de délai se retrouve parfaitement en arrière-plan avec une
ambiance plus évoluée, mais elle peut être réglée pour un eet de votre choix plus prononcé.
Pour ceux d’entre vous qui connaissent bien l’histoire célèbre de la pédale, vous remarquerez
peut-être quelques diérences sur cette boîte qui brille magnifiquement. Nous avons ajouté un
commutateur Mod Mode qui vous permet de choisir entre replier (Bend) et étirer (Stretch) l’onde
de modulation. Le réglage Bend ore une ambiance plus subtile plus proche d’un son de chorus
traditionnel, tandis que la nouvelle option Stretch vous ore une multitude de modulations de
stretch de hauteur pour pouvoir vous déchaîner.
L’autre diérence que vous avez probablement remarquée avec votre œil d’aigle est l’interrupteur
à trois positions Mod Speed qui ore les réglages lent (S), rapide (F) et moyen (M). Le réglage
Lent est atrocement lent et peut produire des montées graduelles bizarrement animées et des
descentes abruptes. Le réglage Fast peut aller d’un chorus rapide à un vibrato intense, tandis que
le réglage Medium est le taux le plus traditionnel, similaire au circuit Memory Man classique avec
une belle plage de réglage.
Le boîtier nouvellement conçu comprend des boutons pour contrôler les paramètres Speed,
Intensity, Mix, Repeats et Time, avec des commutateurs Modulate et Activate, ce qui en fait une
pédale hautement personnalisable pour obtenir le son de délai de vos rêves. Grâce au circuit de

Chaque Disaster Transport est cultivé biologiquement dans les terres agricoles d’Akron, Ohio,

aussi longtemps que vous souhaitez utiliser l’eet. Une fois que vous relâchez le commutateur, l’eet
sera en bypass.
Comme la commutation est basée sur des relais, une alimentation est requise pour passer le signal.

verwirren. Er bezieht sich nicht auf die Fahrt in einem Taxi, dessen Fahrer wie ein ungeleerter
Aschenbecher stank, alle Abfahrten verpasste und Ihnen die Ohren über seine gescheiterte
Ehe vollquatschte. Die Rede ist von Disaster Transport OG – einem digitalen Delay mit analoger
Abstimmung, das Ihren Sound in die Stratosphäre teleportieren kann.
Ursprünglich wollten wir das originale Disaster Transport in seiner frühesten Form nachbauen.
Aber EQD-Urgestein Jamie Stillman konnte sich einfach nicht zusammenreißen und hat
verbessert, was sich nur verbessern ließ. Und das heißt: Sie kriegen ein schönes fettes
Upgrade, lieber Freund. Dabei haben wir unter anderem die Delay-Line neu gestaltet, um das
Grundrauschen zu reduzieren und die Qualität des Delays zu verbessern. Wir haben den Ausgang
mit einer sauberer arbeitenden Mix-Sektion aufgerüstet. Der Filter sorgt jetzt dafür, dass es
noch mehr als die Vorgänger wie ein analoges Delay klingt. Dieses Delay-Pedal integriert sich
hervorragend in Ihre Klang-Landschaft – kann bei Bedarf aber auch für dramatische Eekt in die
Mitte der Bühne geholt werden.
Diejenigen unter Ihnen, die die ruhmreiche Geschichte dieses Pedals kennen, werden vielleicht
schon am funkelnden Gehäuse einige Unterschiede bemerken. Wir haben einen Mod Mode-
Schalter hinzugefügt, mit dem Sie für die modulierende Welle zwischen Biegen (Bend) und
Strecken (Stretch) wählen können. Die Bend-Einstellung sorgt für ein subtileres Vibrato, das dem
traditionellen Chorus-Sound näher kommt, während die neue Stretch-Option Ihnen jede Menge
Pitch-Stretching-Modulationen bietet – da können Sie sich so richtig austoben.

SPEED

™ uno dei nostri pedali più amati di sempre! Non
lasciarti fuorviare – il nome non intende fare riferimento alla tua ultima esperienza con Uber, con
l’autista che puzzava come un cassonetto di pannolini sporchi, che ha sbagliato tutte le uscite e che
ti ha stordito a furia di parlare della sua ex moglie. Stiamo parlando del Disaster Transport OG – un
delay digitale “analog-voiced” capace di teletrasportare il tuo suono direttamente nella stratosfera.
Inizialmente abbiamo deciso di ricreare il pedale Disaster Transport nella sua forma originale,
ma Jamie Stillman (fondatore di EQD) non ha resistito nell’armeggiare, ritoccare e migliorare il
tutto, così da aggiornare completamente questo meraviglioso dispositivo. Nel fare ciò, abbiamo
riprogettato la linea di ritardo per ridurre il rumore intrinseco e migliorare la qualità del delay.
Abbiamo potenziato l’uscita con una sezione mixing più pulita; ora viene filtrata per conferire

potranno notare alcune dierenze presenti in questo meraviglioso e scintillante dispositivo.
Abbiamo aggiunto un selettore Mod Mode che permette di scegliere tra le modalità Bend e Stretch
dell’onda di modulazione. La modalità Bend ore una sonorità più delicata e simile a quella di un
chorus tradizionale, mentre la nuova modalità Stretch fornisce un sacco di modulazione pitch-
stretching con la quale scatenarti.
L’altra dierenza che probabilmente non sarà sfuggita al tuo occhio di falco è il selettore a 3
posizioni Mod Speed, che permette di selezionare le impostazioni Slow (S), Fast (F) e Medium (M).
L’impostazione Slow è estremamente lenta e può produrre salite graduali e curiosamente animate
e discese ripide. L’impostazione Fast può passare da un chorus rapido a un vibrato intenso, mentre
l’impostazione Medium permette di adottare la velocità più consueta e tradizionale, simile al
classico circuito Memory Man, caratterizzato da una gradevole gamma.
L’involucro di nuova concezione è dotato delle manopole Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats e Time,
nonché dei selettori Modulate e Activate, che lo rendono un pedale altamente personalizzabile e
capace di ottenere l’eetto delay dei tuoi sogni. Grazie al circuito ramp modulation, è possibile

delay… Ehm… Sembra proprio che ci siamo incartati. Ad ogni modo – goditi questo pedale!
Ogni Disaster Transport viene coltivato biologicamente nei terreni agricoli di Akron, Ohio, USA,
utilizzando solo la migliore terra e i migliori fertilizzanti fino a quando non sono perfettamente
maturi per la raccolta.
SPEED
Controlla la velocità della modulazione. Il Speed opera nell’ambito di tre gamme (Slow/
Fast/Medium) selezionate mediante il selettore Mod Speed. Disaster Transport OG utilizza
un’onda Ramp per la modulazione. Noterai come questa modulazione risulti più intensa
della maggior parte dei delay modulati. Vedila come un’onda triangolare tradizionale che
discende a metà ciclo, creando un drastico pitch bend nella sua scia. Oppure non farlo e
pensa solo a ciò che vuoi.
INTENSITY
Controlla la quantità di modulazione applicata dall’LFO al tempo di ritardo. Impostando
una minore intensità si ottengono eetti di tipo chorus più delicati, mentre a una maggiore
intensità è possibile generare eetti estremi di pitch stretching e bending. Lo stile di
modulazione generale può essere reso più o meno discreto utilizzando il selettore Mod
Mode per selezionare le impostazioni Bend o Stretch.
MIX
Imposta il livello del volume del segnale processato dal delay. Ascolta di più di ciò che hai
suonato giusto 30-600 ms prima, aumentando la regolazione di questo controllo.
REPEATS
Controlla l’intensità del feedback del delay, partendo da nessuna ripetizione ( impostando

kierowca śmierdział jak śmietnik pełen pieluch, przegapił każdy zjazd i gadał bez przerwy o swojej
byłej żonie. Chodzi o Disaster Transport OG – cyfrowy efekt delay z analogowym dźwiękiem, który

Początkowo chcieliśmy odtworzyć oryginalny pedał Disaster Transport w jego najbardziej

Toto zařízení disponuje technologií Flexi-Switch! Tento způsob vycházející z reléového přepínání
představuje skutečný bypass, který umožňuje simultánní použití okamžitého přepínání a přepínání s

• Pro standardní provoz s aretací: Jedním ťuknutím na nožní spínač stačí aktivovat efekt a dalším
ťuknutím znovu přepnout na bypasss.
• Pro okamžitý provoz: Pokud je efekt vypnutý, nožní spínač stačí držet sešlápnutý tak dlouho, jak
budete efekt potřebovat. Jakmile spínač uvolníte, efekt bude bypassem vyřazen.
Protože se přepínání provádí pomocí relé, průchod signálu vyžaduje napájení.

Toto zařízení má standardní 9V stejnosměrné napájení s 2,1mm konektorem, záporný pól uprostřed.
Vždy doporučujeme napájecí zdroje určené výhradně pro efektové pedály: buď zásuvkové adaptéry
osazené transformátorem nebo zdroje s větším počtem izolovaných výstupů. Pokud bude mít napájecí
zdroj zvlnění nebo nedokonale filtrované napětí, pedály budou vydávat brum. Spínané napájecí zdroje,
zdroje s řetězově propojenými připojovacími kabely a zdroje, které nejsou určeny pro efektové pedály,
zvlněné napětí nefiltrují a mohou nechávat procházet nežádoucí brum.
