You have chosen a high-quality product. These operating instructions are an integral
part of this product. They contain important safety information and instructions for
use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarize yourself with all
operating and safety instructions. Only use the product as described and for the
specified applications. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you give
this product to someone else, please be sure to also hand over all the documents.

2. Proper use
The product is exclusively designed for heating and boiling water. It is only intended
for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is considered
improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury incurred
through improper or incorrect use.

3. General safety instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
Read all instructions.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles or knobs.
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do
not immerse the product, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or
near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow the product to cool before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning the product.
Do not operate the product with a damaged cord or plug or
after the product malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return the product to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
product’s manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or
injury to persons.
Do not use the product outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over the edge of tables or counters, or
touch hot surfaces.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
Always attach the plug to the product first, then plug the cord
into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “OFF”
then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
Do not use the product for other than intended use.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot liquids.
Do not open the lid during the heating process. Scalding may
occur if the lid is opened during the heating process.

This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended
to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the
plug in any way.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply
cord) is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords
are available and may be used if care is exercised in their
use.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is
used:
The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-
supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance;
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord
should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord; and
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over.

Only connect the product if the line voltage of the outlet
corresponds to the data on the rating plate.

Only connect the product to an easily accessible outlet so that
you can quickly disconnect it from the power supply in the
event of a problem.
Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified
professional perform repairs.
Only parts that comply with the original device data may
be used for repairs. This product contains electrical and
mechanical parts which are essential for providing protection
against sources of danger.
Do not use the product with an external timer or separate
remote control system.
Never touch the power plug with wet or damp hands.
Do not pull the power plug out of the outlet by the cord;
instead, always pull it out by the plug itself.
Never move, pull, or carry the product by its power cord.
Do not use the product in moving vehicles or boats.
Do not use the product in damp rooms or in the rain.
Do not place the product such that there is a risk of it falling
into a tub or sink. Never reach to retrieve an electrical
device if it has fallen into water. In such a case, immediately
disconnect the power plug.
Never insert any objects into the housing.
Always switch the product off and unplug it when you are
not using it, when you intend to clean it, or in the event of a
malfunction.
Ensure that no water drips onto the base.

older persons with reduced physical and
mental capacities), or lack of experience and
knowledge (e.g. older children).
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are at
least 8 years old and under supervision.
Keep children under the age of 8 away from the product and
power cord.
Do not leave the product unattended while in use.
Make sure that children do not play with the plastic wrapping.
They may get caught in it when playing and suffocate.
WARNING!
Burn and fire hazard!
Steam is released while the product is in use. Parts of
the product become hot.
Hot steam is emitted from the product. Keep yourself and
other persons away from the hot steam that is emitted!
Do not touch the hot parts of the product with unprotected
fingers during use. Clearly advise other users of the risks!
Note that the product remains hot and may continue to emit
hot steam even after being switched off.
Do not heat too much water in the product, hot water may
spurt out of the water tank.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product may result in damage
to the product.
Place the product on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-
resistant and sufficiently stable surface. Do not place the
product on the edge of the surface.
Set up the product so that the hot steam emitted during use
can be dispelled easily.
Avoid letting heat build up by not placing the product right
next to a wall or under a wall cupboard or similar. The steam
that is emitted could damage furniture.
During use, make sure that the product’s spout is not pointed
towards sensitive surfaces or wallpapers as the steam that is
emitted could damage them.
Never place the product on or near hot surfaces (e.g. hobs).
Ensure that the mains cord does not come into contact with hot
parts.
Never expose the product to high temperatures (e.g. heaters)
or to the influence of weather (e.g. rain).
Never immerse the product in water or place it in a
dishwasher. Otherwise, the product could be damaged.
Make sure that the power cord is securely fitted in the cable
opening on the base so that the base does not wobble.
Stop using the product if any of the product’s plastic parts
show cracks or deformation. Only replace damaged parts
with corresponding original spare parts.

6. First use
6.1. Checking the product and scope of delivery
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging
with a sharp knife or other pointed object, you may
quickly damage the product.
For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
Take the product out of the packaging.
Check to make sure that all parts are included:
− Kettle
− Base (with power cord)
− Anti-scale filter (inside the kettle)
− User Manual
Check whether the product or individual parts are damaged. If this is the case,
do not use the product. Contact the manufacturer via the service address
indicated on the warranty card.
6.2. Basic cleaning
Remove the packaging material and all plastic wrappings.
Clean all parts of the product before first use as described in the chapter
“8„8. Cleaning“ on page 16.
7. Operation
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the product may result in injury.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the product with
bare hands.
Hot steam may emit during operation. Keep your
hands and head away from the steam to avoid
burning and scalding.
7.1. Boiling water
Fully unwind and extend the power cord (8) from the cord wrap located on the
underside of the base (9).

Run the power cord through one of the cable openings on the base.
Place the base on a level and stable surface. Make sure it does not wobble.
Press the release button (2) to open the lid (1) (see Fig. B).
Hold the water tank by the handle (3) and fill the water tank (5) with cold
water. Make sure the water level is always between 0.3 L (minimum) and 1.0 L
(maximum) on the water level indicator (6).
Close the lid. Make sure the lid audibly locks into place.
Place the water tank onto the base (see Fig. C).
Properly connect the power cord to a power outlet.
Push the on/off switch (4) downwards to start the heating process.
The light in the on/off switch illuminates during the heating process.
Wait until the water boils. The product switches off automatically when the water
boils.
Hold the water tank by the handle and lift it off the base.
Slowly pour the water out through the spout (7). Do not open the lid while doing
so.
Place the water tank back onto the base and disconnect the power cord from the
power outlet after use.
7.2. Stopping the boiling process
You can switch off the product any time during the boiling process. This can be done
in two ways:
Push the on/off switch (4) upwards during the boiling process.
Hold the water tank (5) by the handle (3) and lift it off the base (9) during the
boiling process.
7.3. Boil-dry protection
The boil-dry protection automatically activates if there is no more liquid in the water
tank (5) to prevent damaging the product.
If the boil-dry protection is triggered:
Disconnect the power cord (8) from the power outlet.
Let the product cool off completely for at least 15 minutes.
Continue to use the product as usual.

8. Cleaning
WARNING!
Burn hazard!
The product will get hot during operation and may
cause burns.
Let the product cool off completely before each
cleaning.
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water and other liquids that have penetrated the
housing may cause a short circuit.
Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate
the housing.
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product may result in damage.
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with
metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning
utensils such as knives, hard scrapers and the like.
They could damage the surfaces.
Do not put the product in the dishwasher, as this will
destroy it.
Any other servicing should be performed by an
authorized service representative.
Disconnect the power cord (8) from the power outlet before cleaning.
Let the product cool off completely.
Wipe off the outside of the product with a damp cloth.
Press the release button (2) to open the lid (1) (see Fig. B).
Remove the anti-scale filter (10) that is attached in front of the spout (7). To do
so, hold onto the tab of the anti-scale filter and lift the filter up and out of its
holder (see Fig. D).
Rinse the anti-scale filter under running water or clean it with a damp cloth.

Fit the anti-scale filter back into its holder after cleaning. It must noticeably lock
into place.
Clean the base (9) with a dry cloth.
8.1. Descaling
Regularly remove the limescale accumulated inside the water tank (5).
Fill the water tank with clean water and a small amount of vinegar or special
descaling agents.
Boil this solution and leave it in the water tank to stand for a couple of hours.
Empty the water tank, fill it with clean water and bring the clean water to a boil.
Repeat this step twice.
9. Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
Wrap the power cord (8) around the cord wrap on the underside of the
base (9) before storing.
Always store the product in a clean and dry area.
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
Store the product so that it is not accessible to children.
10. Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix yourself. To do so,
follow the instructions in the following table. If it is still not possible to resolve the
problem, contact customer service. Do not repair the product yourself.

Check and ensure that the product is properly connected
to a power outlet, the power outlet is not defective and
power is switched on at the outlet.
The heating process
takes too long.
Check whether the product needs to be descaled.

11. Disposal
11.1. Disposing of the packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of paperboard and
cardboard with the recycled paper service and wrappings with the appropriate
collection service.
11.2. Disposing of the product
Should the product no longer be capable of being used at some point in time,
dispose of it in accordance with the regulations in force in your city or state.

14. 3 year limited warranty
14.1. What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
• Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
• Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety and
maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
14.2. What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as switches,
glass, etc.);
• Improper use or transport;
• Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
• Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
• Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.)
Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty.
However, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
14.3. What is the period of coverage and warranty
resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our discretion, product will
either be refunded or replaced.

3. Instrucciones generales de seguridad

6. Primer uso
6.1. Comprobación del producto y del contenido
del paquete
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!
Podría dañar el producto fácilmente si no tiene
cuidado al abrir el embalaje utilizando un cuchillo
afilado u otro objeto puntiagudo.
Por este motivo, tenga mucho cuidado al abrirlo.
Saque el producto de la caja.
Compruebe que todas las piezas estén incluidas:
−Hervidor de agua
−Base (con cable eléctrico)
−Filtro antical (dentro del hervidor de agua)
−Manual del usuario
Compruebe si el producto o alguna de las piezas están dañados. Si este fuera
el caso, no utilice el producto. Póngase en contacto con el fabricante a través
de la dirección de servicio indicada en la tarjeta de garantía.
6.2. Limpieza básica
Retire el material del embalaje y todos los envoltorios de plástico.
Limpie todas las piezas del producto antes de usarlo como se describe en el
capítulo "8"8. Limpieza" en la página 32.

El manejo inapropiado del producto puede provocar

No toque las superficies calientes del producto con
las manos descubiertas.
Se puede liberar vapor caliente durante el
funcionamiento. Mantenga las manos y la cabeza
alejadas del vapor para evitar quemaduras y
escaldado.
7.1. Hervir agua
Desenrolle completamente y extienda el cable eléctrico (8) desde el espacio
ubicado en la parte inferior de la base (9).
Tienda el cable eléctrico a través de una de las aberturas en la base.
Coloque la base sobre una superficie nivelada y estable. Asegúrese de que no
tambalee.
Presione el botón de desbloqueo (2) para abrir la tapa (1) (véase la fig. B).
Sujete el depósito de agua por el asa (3) y llene el depósito de agua (5) con
agua fría. Asegúrese de que el nivel de agua siempre se encuentre entre 0.3 l
(mínimo) y 1 l (máximo) en el indicador del nivel de agua (6).
Cierre la tapa. Asegúrese de que la tapa quede enclavada con un clic audible.
Coloque el depósito de agua sobre la base (véase la fig. C).
Conecte el cable eléctrico correctamente a una toma de corriente.
Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado (4) hacia abajo para iniciar el
proceso de calentamiento.
La luz en el interruptor de encendido/apagado se ilumina durante el proceso
de calentamiento.
Espere hasta que el agua hierva. El producto se apaga automáticamente
cuando el agua rompe a hervir.
Sujete el depósito de agua por el asa y levántelo de la base.
Vierta lentamente el agua a través del pico (7). No abra la tapa al hacerlo.
Vuelva a colocar el depósito de agua en la base y desconecte el cable eléctrico
de la toma de corriente después del uso.

7.2. Detener el proceso de ebullición
Puede apagar el producto en cualquier momento durante el proceso de ebullición.
Esto se puede hacer de dos formas:
Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado (4) hacia arriba durante el
proceso de ebullición.
Sujete el depósito de agua (5) por el asa (3) y levántelo de la base (9) durante
el proceso de ebullición.
7.3. Protección antiebullición en seco
La protección antiebullición en seco se activa automáticamente si ya no queda
líquido en el depósito de agua (5) para evitar daños al producto.
Si la protección antiebullición en seco se activa:
Desconecte el cable eléctrico (8) de la toma de corriente.
Deje que el producto se enfríe completamente durante, como mínimo,
15minutos.
Continúe utilizando el producto como de costumbre.
8. Limpieza
¡ADVERTENCIA!
¡Peligro de quemaduras!
El producto se calentará durante el funcionamiento y
puede causar quemaduras.
Deje que el producto se enfríe completamente antes
de limpiarlo.
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de cortocircuitos!
El agua y otros líquidos que hayan penetrado en la
carcasa podrían provocar un cortocircuito.
Asegúrese de que no penetre agua u otros líquidos
en la carcasa.
No sumerja nunca el producto en agua u otros
líquidos.

No utilice limpiadores agresivos, cepillos con
cerdas metálicas o de nailon, objetos afilados o

lo destruiría.
Cualquier otro tipo de trabajos de mantenimiento
deberá llevarlos a cabo un representante de

Desconecte el cable eléctrico (8) de la toma de corriente antes de la limpieza.
Deje que el producto se enfríe completamente.
Limpie el exterior del producto con un paño húmedo.
Presione el botón de desbloqueo (2) para abrir la tapa (1) (véase la fig. B).
Retire el filtro antical (10) que está encajado en la parte delantera del pico (7).
Para hacerlo, sujete la lengüeta del filtro antical y levante el filtro hacia afuera
para retirarlo del soporte (véase la fig. D).
Enjuague el filtro antical bajo agua corriente o límpielo con un paño húmedo.
Vuelva a encajar el filtro antical en su soporte después de la limpieza. Este debe
quedar enclavado de forma notable.
Limpie la base (9) con un paño seco.
8.1. Descalcifi cación
Elimine periódicamente los depósitos de cal acumulados en el interior del depósito
de agua (5).
Llene el depósito de agua con agua limpia y una pequeña cantidad de vinagre
o de un agente descalcificador especial.
Hierva esta solución y déjela en el depósito de agua durante unas cuantas
horas.
Vacíe el depósito de agua, llénelo con agua limpia y hierva el agua limpia.
Repita este paso dos veces.

9. Almacenamiento
Todas las piezas deben estar completamente secas antes de almacenarlas.
Enrolle el cable eléctrico (8) en el espacio destinado a este fin en la parte
inferior de la base (9) antes del almacenamiento.
Almacene siempre el producto en una zona limpia y seca.
No exponga el producto a la luz solar directa.
Almacene el producto de forma que los niños no puedan acceder a él.
10. Resolución de problemas
Algunos problemas pueden estar causados por errores leves que podrá resolver
por sí mismo. Para hacerlo, siga las instrucciones de la siguiente tabla. Si el
problema persiste, póngase en contacto con el servicio de atención al cliente. No
repare el producto por sí mismo.

11. Eliminación
11.1. Eliminar el embalaje
Separe el embalaje antes de eliminarlo. Elimine el cartón y la cartulina con
el servicio de papel reciclado y los envoltorios con el servicio de recogida
correspondiente.
11.2. Eliminar el producto
Si el producto dejara de ser funcional en algún momento, elimínelo de
conformidad con los reglamentos en vigor de su ciudad o estado.

14. 3 años de garantía limitada
14.1. ¿Qué cubre esta garantía?
La garantía cubre:
• Daños, roturas o inoperatividad a causa de un defecto.
• Daños no causado por desgaste por uso normal o la inobservancia de las
instrucciones de seguridad y mantenimiento proporcionadas por el manual del
usuario.
14.2. ¿Qué no está cubierto por la garantía?
Esta garantía no cubre daños causados por:
• Daños por uso normal del producto, incluyendo piezas frágiles (como

• uso o transporte inadecuados;
• inobservancia de las instrucciones de seguridad y mantenimiento;
