your Dyson machine will be covered for parts
and labor for five years from the date of
purchase, subject to the terms of the warranty.

When using any electrical
appliance, basic precautions
should always be followed,
including the following:

These warnings apply to
the light, and also where
applicable to chargers or
mains adaptors.

1. Ensure the light is fully
assembled in line with the
instructions before use.
2. This Dyson light can be
used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory
or reasoning capabilities,
or lack of experience and
knowledge, only if they have
been given supervision or
instruction by a responsible
person concerning use of
the light in a safe way and
understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and
maintenance shall not be
performed by children.
3. Do not allow to be used
as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when the light is
used near children.
4. Suitable for indoor use only
32°F (0°C) – 104°F (40°C).
5. Use only as described in the
Dyson User manual. Do not
carry out any maintenance
other than that advised by
the Dyson Helpline.

6. If the light is not working as it
should, has received a sharp
blow, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water,
do not use and contact the
Dyson Helpline.
7. If a service or repair is
needed, contact the Dyson
Helpline so we can discuss
the available options. Do not
disassemble the light as
incorrect reassembly may
result in an electric shock
or fire.
8. Do not handle any part of
the light, cord or plug with
wet hands.
9. Do not use with a damaged
cord or plug. If the supply
cord is damaged it must
be replaced by Dyson, its
service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
10. Do not stretch the cord or
place the cord under strain.
Keep the cord away from
heated surfaces.

carpeting. Do not cover
the cord with throw rugs,
runners or similar coverings.
Do not route the cord under
furniture or machines.
Arrange the cord away from
traffic areas and where it will
not be tripped over.
12. Do not unplug by pulling
on the cable. To unplug,
grasp the plug, not the
cable. Do not use with an
extension lead.
13. Turn off all controls before
unplugging. Unplug from
outlet when not in use for
extended periods. To avoid
a tripping hazard, safely coil
the cord.
14. Do not use near furnaces,
fireplaces, stoves or
other high temperature
heat sources.
15. The light source is not
replaceable; when the light
source reaches its end of
life, the whole light shall
be replaced. End of life
replacement is not covered
under the warranty.

16. Do not place anything
directly on the light source/
lens as this can cause
overheating damage and
void the warranty.

• Dyson endeavors to ensure that our technology
is compatible with current operating systems but
this is not guaranteed. If you have any questions or
would like to check the latest compatibility, please
contact the Dyson Helpline.
• Your mobile device must have Bluetooth® wireless
technology 4.0 support (Bluetooth Low Energy) in
order to set up a connection with the light. Check
your device specification for compatibility.

CONFORMITY INFORMATION
This equipment has been tested and found to
comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if
not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to
try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment

5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
• The repair or replacement of your Dyson light
(at Dyson’s discretion) if it is found to be defective
due to faulty materials, workmanship or function
within five years of purchase or delivery (if any
part is no longer available or out of manufacture,
Dyson will replace it with a functional replacement
part).
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Dyson does not guarantee the repair or
replacement of a light where a defect is the
result of:
• Damage caused by not carrying out any
recommended maintenance of the light.
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use
or care, misuse, neglect, carelessness, operation
or handling of the light which is not in accordance
with the Dyson User manual.
• Use of the light for anything other than the use it is
designed for.

• Use of parts not in accordance with the Dyson
User manual.
• Use of parts and accessories other than those
produced or recommended by Dyson.
• Faulty installation (except where installed by
Dyson).
• Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized
parties or agents.
• Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse etc.).
If you are in any doubt as to what is covered by your
warranty, please contact Dyson.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
AND EXCLUSIONS
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable
law, any implied warranties relating to your
machine including but not limited to warranty
of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a
particular purpose, are limited to the duration of
this warranty.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law,
your remedy for breach of this warranty is limited
to the warranty service described below. Dyson will
not be liable for any consequential damages or
incidental damages you may incur in connection
with your purchase and use of your machine.
• This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights.
You may also have other rights which vary by State.
• This limited warranty is not transferable.
• The limitations or exclusions of liability stated
herein apply in the state of New Jersey, to the
fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
WARRANTY SERVICE
• You may have opted to auto-register your machine.
If you have not, please visit www.dyson.com/
register to register your machine.
• Before a service can take place, the terms of
the warranty require that you contact the Dyson
Helpline with your model name/number, serial
number, date and place of purchase.
• Please keep your purchase receipt in a safe place
to ensure that you have this information.
• All work will be coordinated by Dyson or its
authorized agents.
• Any replaced defective parts will become the
property of Dyson.
• Service under this warranty will not extend the
period of this warranty; however, your warranty
will be extended for any time your machine is being
repaired or retained for work being performed
under the warranty.
• If your machine is not functioning properly, please
call the Dyson Helpline at 1-866-693-9766. Most
issues can be rectified over the telephone by our
trained Customer Care staff.

QUÉ ESTÁ CUBIERTO
• La reparación o el reemplazo de la lámpara
Dyson (a discreción de Dyson), si se detecta que

QUÉ NO ESTÁ CUBIERTO
Dyson no garantiza la reparación o el reemplazo
de una lámpara cuando la falla se deba a las

• Daño causado por no llevar a cabo el
mantenimiento recomendado de la lámpara.
• Daño accidental, fallas ocasionadas por mal uso o
desatención, uso incorrecto, negligencia, descuido

5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
• The repair or replacement of your Dyson light
(at Dyson’s discretion) if it is found to be defective
due to faulty materials, workmanship or function
within five years of purchase or delivery (if any part
is no longer available or out of manufacture Dyson
will replace it with a functional replacement part).
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Dyson does not guarantee the repair or
replacement of a light where a defect is the
result of:
• Damage caused by not carrying out any
recommended maintenance of the light.
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use
or care, misuse, neglect, carelessness, operation
or handling of the light which is not in accordance
with the Dyson User manual.
• Use of the light for anything other than the use it is
designed for.
• Use of parts not in accordance with the Dyson
User manual.
• Use of parts and accessories other than those
produced or recommended by Dyson.
• Faulty installation (except where installed by
Dyson).
• Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized
parties or agents.
• Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse etc.).

• La réparation ou le remplacement de votre
appareil d'éclairage (à la discrétion de Dyson),
si celui-ci s’avère défectueux suite à un défaut de
matériau, de fabrication ou de fonctionnement
dans les cinq (5) années suivant la date d'achat
(si une pièce n’est plus disponible ou qu’elle n’est
plus fabriquée, Dyson la remplacera par une pièce
fonctionnelle).
CE QUI N’EST PAS COUVERT
Dyson ne garantit pas la réparation ou le
remplacement d’un appareil d'éclairage si la
défaillance résulte d’une des situations suivantes:
• Dommages causés par un manquement
d’effectuer l’entretien recommandé.
• Endommagement accidentel, défaillances
causées par un manque d'entretien, une utilisation
négligente ou abusive, une mauvaise utilisation
ou manipulation, et ce, en non-conformité avec le
guide d'utilisation de Dyson.
• Utilisation de l’appareil d’éclairage à d’autres fins
que pour celles pour lesquelles il est conçu.
• Toute utilisation de pièces non recommandées par
le guide d’utilisation Dyson;
• Toute utilisation de pièces et d’accessoires autres
que ceux fournis ou recommandés par Dyson;

• d’une installation défectueuse (sauf si elle a été
effectuée par Dyson);
• De réparations ou modifications effectuées par des
parties ou représentants non autorisés;
• de l’usure ou détérioration normale (p. ex. fusible).
