Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Now, fill the holes in the edge of the TOP (E2) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. å Fasten the TOP (E2) to the STOP MOLDING (XX). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the STOP MOLDING insert into the holes in the edge of the TOP. Wipe away the excess GLUE. Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. ! Caution (5 used) Inspect the parts thoroughly before assembling. Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Unfold the BACK (H) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (H). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (H) to your unit using the NAILS (WW). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHTS (C and D). WW NAIL (42 used in this step) These holes must line up over the UPRIGHTS (C and D). Use four BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (RR). å Push the PLASTIC FEET (X) into the holes in the SPACERS (R). Use the screws provided in the HINGES. See the next step for adjustments. å Fasten a KNOB (GG) and BACKPLATE (HH) to the DOOR (I). Use a BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREW (QQ). å Peel the FELT DISC from the FELT DISC CARD (JJ). Stick a FELT DISC on the DOOR where it comes in contact with the RIGHT UPRIGHT (C). Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. Stop å Mounting screw Repeat this step for the other DOOR (I). Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or out, as needed. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Groove å Insert the DRAWER SIDES (D12 andD13) at an angle into the slot at each end of the DRAWER FRONT (M). å Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D701) into the grooves in the DRAWER SIDES (D12 and D13) and DRAWER FRONT (M). Start each screw a few turns before completely tightening any of them. 3 30S BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) D62 D12 D701 D13 å å Fasten the DRAWER BACK (D62) to the DRAWER SIDES (D12 and D13). Use four BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (30S). NOTE: Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM (D701) inserts into the groove of the DRAWER BACK (D62). Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (35DC) and the DRAWER LEFT (35DD) to the DRAWER SIDES (D12 and D13). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (VV). Screw head - turn the CAM to line up holes in SLIDES with holes in DRAWER SIDES. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (MM) over the METAL PINS (LL). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHTS (C and D). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (J) onto the METAL PINS. å å Insert the GROMMET (DD) and GROMMET CAP (EE) into the large hole in the TOP (E2). å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. Apply the WARNING LABEL (NN) to the TOP (E2). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. WARNING Never use this furniture with a TV that is too large or too heavy. Severe injury or death can occur. The TV and furniture will be unstable and may tip. - The TV must weigh less than 95 lbs. - The base of the TV must be able to sit completely on this shelf. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the cam. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONT line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREWS when finished with adjustments. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry. And to celebrate, why not share your success story? Loosen screw #3 a 1/4 turn, turn the cam a 1/4 turn maximum in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to make adjustments, and then tighten screw #3. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. Fixer l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) au DESSUS (E2). Serrer deux FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Assembler l’élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d’endommager l’élément ou le sol. Fixer les MONTANTS (C et D) au DESSUS (E2). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Pour commencer l’assemblage, enfoncer une FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER (Z) dans les gros trous de l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Répéter cette étape pour les MONTANTS (C et D), le DESSOUS (F) et la TABLETTE (G). ÉTAPE 2 ÉTAPE 9 Fixer le DESSOUS (F) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Serrer deux FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Ne pas serrer les EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES à cette étape. Fixer le DESSOUS (F) aux MONTANTS (C et D). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (OO). Enfoncer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et la DESSUS (E2). ÉTAPE 10 ÉTAPE 3 Faire tourner huit VIS D’EXCENTRIQUE (8F) dans les PIEDS (K2) et la MOULURE DE BUTÉE (XX). Fixer l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) au DESSUS (E2) et au DESSOUS (F). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. ÉTAPE 4 ÉTAPE 11 Examiner bien les pièces avant d'assembler. Il est difficile de séparer des pièces une fois encollées. Fixer deux CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE (FF) au LAMBREQUIN (L). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (TT). Tout d’abord, remplir le trou dans la MOULURE D'ARRÊT (XX) de 1/4 à 1/2 plein de COLLE (54M). Insérer ensuite cinq CHEVILLES EN BOIS (15F) dans les trous. Nettoyer l'excès de COLLE. REMARQUE : S’assurer que les chants des CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE sont à fleur le chant du LAMBREQUIN. Fixer quatre CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE (FF) au DESSOUS (F). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (TT). Maintenant, remplir les trous dans le chant du DESSUS (E2) de 1/4 à 1/2 pleins de COLLE. Fixer le DESSUS (E2) sur la MOULURE D'ARRÊT (XX). Serrer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. REMARQUE : S’assurer que les chants des CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE sont à fleur le chant du DESSOUS. REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien insérer les CHEVILLES EN BOIS situées sur la MOULURE D'ARRÊT dans les trous dans le chant du DESSUS. Nettoyer l'excès de COLLE. Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSOUS (S) au DESSOUS (F). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (TT). ÉTAPE 5 Fixer le LAMBREQUIN (L) au DESSUS (E2). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (TT). Fixer les PIEDS (K2) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Serrer quatre EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. ÉTAPE 12 Fixer les PIEDS (Y) aux PIEDS (K2). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE PLATE 40 mm NOIRES (30S). Ne pas relever l’élément dans sa position verticale avant d’avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L’élément risque de s’effondrer. ÉTAPE 6 Avec précaution, retourner l’élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier l’ARRIÈRE (H) et le placer sur l’élément. Fixer l’ÉLÉMENT DROITE (35DA) et l’ÉLÉMENTS GAUCHE (35DB) aux MONTANTS (C et D). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (VV). Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de l’ARRIÈRE (H). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l’élément pour s’assurer d’être "d’équerre". ÉTAPE 7 Fixer l’ARRIÈRE (H) à l’élément en utilisant les CLOUS (WW). Utilisation de la FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER (Consulter le schéma agrandi.) REMARQUE : S’assurer de bien enfoncer les CLOUS dans les trous qui sont alignés sur les MONTANTS (C et D). 1. Insérer l’extrémité filetée de la FIXATION dans le trou de la pièce attenante. REMARQUE : L’extrémité filetée de la FIXATION doit rester complètement insérée dans le trou de la pièce attenante lorsque l’on bloque la FIXATION. REMARQUE : Des lignes perforées ont été prévues pour accéder facilement à l’ARRIÈRE. Découper avec précaution les trous nécessaires. 2. Bien serrer la FIXATION à l’aide d’un tournevis Phillips. Fixer la TABLETTE (G) aux MONTANTS (C et D). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Page 28 409048 www.sauder.com/services ÉTAPE 13 ÉTAPE 18 Fixer les SÉPARATEURS (R) au DESSOUS (F). Utiliser quatre VIS MARRON TÊTE PLATE 25 mm (RR). Insérer une EXCENTRIQUE DE COULISSE (II) dans chaque CÔTÉ DE TIROIR (D12 et D13). Insérer le PIED EN PLASTIQUE (X) dans les trous dans les SÉPARATEURS (R). Fixer le TIROIR DROIT (35DC) et le TIROIR GAUCHE (35DD) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D12 et D13). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (VV). ÉTAPE 14 REMARQUE : La tête de vis dans l’EXCENTRIQUE doit être visible à travers le trou fendu dans la COULISSE. Fixer deux CHARNIÈRES (CC) à chaque PORTE (I). Utiliser huit VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 13 mm (UU). ÉTAPE 15 ÉTAPE 19 Fixer les BOUTONS (GG) au DEVANT DE TIROIR (M). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES À MÉTAUX 22 mm (SS). Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale. Avant de fixer la PORTE à l’unité, s’assurer que la vis de montage se trouve contre les butées comme l’indique le schéma de droite. Si ce n’est pas le cas, desserrer la vis de montage pour la faire glisser contre les butées. Serrer ensuite la vis de montage. La porte peut être ajustée à l’étape suivante. Fixer une PORTE (I) à l’EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A). Utiliser les vis fournies avec les CHARNIÈRES. Voir l’étape suivante pour réglages. Fixer une POIGNÉE (GG) et FERRURE (HH) à la PORTE (I). Utiliser une VIS NOIRE À MÉTAUX 28 mm (QQ). Décoller le TAMPON EN FEUTRE de la FICHE DE TAMPONS EN FEUTRE (JJ). Coller un TAMPON EN FEUTRE sur la PORTE à lendroit où celle-ci entre en contact avec le MONTANT DROIT (C). Répéter cette étape pour l’autre PORTE (I). ÉTAPE 16 Consulter le schéma agrandi pour identifier les pièces des CHARNIÈRES et CONSOLES DE CHARNIÈRE. Il faut peut-être ajuster les PORTES. Suivre les indications ci-dessous pour ajuster. RÉGLAGES DE PORTES: Pour ajuster les PORTES latéralement (horizontalement), desserrer la vis de montage quelques tours et tourner la vis de réglage vers l’intérieur ou vers l’extérieur. Serrer la vis de montage après avoir ajusté. Pour ajuster les PORTES de haut en bas (verticalement), desserrer les deux vis qui maintiennent les CONSOLES DE CHARNIÈRE à l’EXTRÉMITÉ. Déplacer les PORTES verticalement à l’emplacement désiré. Serrer les vis après avoir ajusté. Pour ajuster les PORTES vers l’intérieur où vers l’extérieur (profondeur), desserrer la vis de montage un tour et déplacer les PORTES vers l’intérieur ou vers l’extérieur. Serrer la vis de montage après avoir ajusté. ÉTAPE 17 ÉTAPE 20 Pour insérer le tiroir dans l'élément, abaisser le devant du tiroir et faire passer les roulettes situées sur le tiroir derrière les roulettes situées sur l'élément. Relever le devant du tiroir et l'enfiler dans l'élément. Enfoncer les MANCHONS EN CAOUTCHOUC (MM) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (LL). Insérer les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL dans les trous choisis dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et MONTANTS (C et D). Poser les TABLETTES RÉGLABLES (J) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL. Insérer le PASSE-CÂBLES (DD) et COUVERCLE DE PASSE-CÂBLES (EE) dans le gros trou du DESSUS (E2). Apposer l’ÉTIQUETTE DE MISE EN GARDE (NN) au DESSUS (E2). Cette étiquette doit pouvoir être lisible lorsque le téléviseur est enlevé de l’élément. Lorsque le téléviseur est en place, il doit la dissimuler. Décoller le film protecteur et apposer l’étiquette comme l’indique le schéma. REMARQUE : Cette étiquette permanente est prévue pour durer pendant toute la vie du produit. Une fois apposée ne pas essayer de la retirer. ÉTAPE 21 Pour ajuster les tiroirs, desserrer la VIS nº 3 des COULISSES un quart de tour et tourner ensuite la came dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens contraire. Noter que le tiroir monte ou descend lorsque l’on tourne la came. Ajuster les tiroirs de cette manière permet au DEVANT DE TIROIR d’être mieux aligné une fois fermé. Resserrer les VIS après d’avoir ajusté. REMARQUE : Prière de lire attentivement les importantes informations concernant la sécurité qui figurent sur les pages arrière du manuel d’instructions. Ceci complète l’assemblage. Pour nettoyer, utiliser l’encaustique pour meubles préférée ou un chiffon humide. Essuyer. 1 Insérer les CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D12 et D13) en biseau dans la fente dans chaque extrémité du DEVANT DE TIROIR (M). 2 Enfiler le FOND DE TIROIR (D701) dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D12 et D13) et du DEVANT DE TIROIR (M). 3 Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (D62) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D12 et D13). Empuje la PATA EN PLÁSTICO (X) dentro de los agujeros de los ESPACIADORES (R). Fije el CAJÓN DERECHO (35DC) y el CAJÓN IZQUIERDO (35DD) a los LADOS DE CAJÓN (D12 y D13). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS DORADOS DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 8 mm (VV). PASO 14 NOTA: La cabeza de tornillo del EXCÉNTRICO debe ser visible a través del agujero alargado de la CORREDERA. Fije dos BISAGRAS (CC) a cada PUERTA (I). Utilice ocho TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 13 mm (UU). PASO 19 PASO 15 Cuidadosamente ponga la unidad en posición vertical. Fije los TIRADORES (GG) a la CARA DE CAJÓN (M). Utilice dos TORNILLOS NEGROS PARA METAL de 22 mm (SS). Aplique un TOPE DE FIELTRO sobre la PUERTA por donde hace contacto con el PARAL DERECHO (C). Para insertar el cajón dentro de la unidad, incline la parte delantera del cajón hacia abajo y deje que los rodillos del cajón caigan detrás de los rodillos de la unidad. Levante la parte delantera del cajón y deslícelo dentro de la unidad. Empuje los MANGUITOS DE GOMA (MM) sobre las ESPIGAS DE METAL (LL). Inserte las ESPIGAS DE METAL dentro de los agujeros al nivel preferido de los EXTREMOS (A y B) y los PARALES (C y D). Coloque los ESTANTES AJUSTABLES (J) sobre las ESPIGAS DE METAL. Repita este paso para la otra PUERTA (I). Inserte el OJAL (DD) y la CUBIERTA DE OJAL (EE) dentro del agujero grande del PANEL SUPERIOR (E2). PASO 16 Aplique la ETIQUETA DE ADVERTENCIA (NN) al PANEL SUPERIOR (E2). La etiqueta debe ser legible cuando el televisor está retirado de la unidad. Con el televisor ya instalado, debe esconder la etiqueta. Quite el material protector y aplique la etiqueta tal como se muestra en el diagrama. Consulte el diagrama ampliado para identificar las piezas de las BISAGRAS y las MÉNSULAS DE BISAGRA. Las PUERTAS pueden requerir de ajustes. Siga las instrucciones abajo para hacer los ajustes. NOTA: Esta etiqueta es permanente e intencionada a durar por la vida del producto. Una vez aplicada, no intente quitarla. AJUSTE LAS PUERTAS: Para ajustar las PUERTAS de un lado al otro (horizontalmente), afloje el tornillo de montaje varias vueltas y gire el tornillo de ajuste hacia el interior o hacia el exterior. Apriete el tornillo de montaje después de hacer los ajustes. PASO 21 Para ajustar las PUERTAS hacia arriba o hacia abajo (vertical), afloje los dos tornillos que aseguran las MÉNSULAS DE BISAGRA al EXTREMO. Mueva las PUERTAS hacia arriba o hacia abajo a la ubicación deseada. Apriete los tornillos después de hacer los ajustes. Para ajustar las PUERTAS hacia atrás o hacia adelante (profundidad), afloje el tornillo de montaje una vuelta y mueva las PUERTAS hacia el interior o hacia el exterior según sea necesario. Apriete el tornillo de montaje después de hacer los ajustes. PASO 17 Para ajustar los cajones, afloje el TORNILLO No. 3 de las CORREDERAS una cuarta vuelta y después gire la leva hacia la derecha o hacia la izquierda. Observe que el cajón sube o baja al girar la leva. Al ajustar los cajones de esta manera, mejorará la alineación de la CARA DE CAJÓN una vez cerrada.
