CAUTION To prevent electric shock, do not use this polarized plug with an extension cord, receptacle or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure. 1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OPERATIONS B. Connecting the USB Dongle Receiver 1. Attach the USB receiver to the directional USB extension cable. 2. Connect the extension cable to a USB port on your computer and adjust the receiver so that it ideally stands in an upright position for optimal range. 3. Computer may display that new hardware is found and then informs you that your hardware is installed and ready to use. No driver is needed for the installation. 2 ITALIANO A. Installing the DJ software Deckadance LE 1. Insert the installation CD-ROM into your CD-ROM Drive and follow the on-screen instruction to install the Deckadance LE DJ software. 2. Enter the serial number for the software in the installation. The serial number can be found on the CD paper pocket. No assignment of software parameters for the Mix Free is necessary – simply connect the controller to a computer by a wireless USB Dongle, enable it in your DJ software’s configuration screen, and just play! OPERATIONS C. Connecting the Mix Free controller 1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of your Mix Free and insert two C size (LR14) batteries (not included). Replace the battery compartment cover when you are done. If the display back light of the unit gets dim, or the wireless connection becomes unstable, please replace with new batteries. 2. Turn on the Mix Free by switching the power switch on the top of Mix Free to ON position. The 2 LCD displays will show as in the right, and it is connecting to the USB receiver.  Note: You should put the Mix Free controller close to the USB receiver when connecting to the receiver. 3. After a few seconds, the displays of Mix Free will become as in the right. The red LED on the USB receiver will change from flashing slowly to permanently on, showing that the connection is made successfully. 4. The Range of wireless connection is 15m to 20m for indoor area. When the wireless reception is out of range, the display will show like in No. 2. Please bring the Mix Free Controller closer to the USB Receiver for re-connection. D. Starting up Deckadance LE 1. Double-click the Deckadance icon on your desktop (for Windows) or in your Application folder (for Mac) to launch the software. 2. Go to the Setup page of Deckadance LE by clicking on the SETUP button in the middle of the software. 3. You should find 2 “Mix Free” or 2 “USB Audio Device” in the MIDI list, one for OUTPUT, one for INPUT. Activate them by clicking the buttons next to the devices. Your setup page should look as below: 4. Exit the setup and try to move the faders on the Mix Free controller. The corresponding faders should move accordingly. 5. Please refer to next section for function descriptions on the Mix Free controller. Or please read the software manual in Deckadance Help for more detailed descriptions on software functions. 3 FUNCTIONS USB Dangle Receiver DEUTSCH Mix Free Controller FRANÇAIS FUNCTIONS ENGLISH 1. LED indicator. When the USB Dangle is connected to a computer, the LED will turn on and show different status of the unit: - LED flashing slowly: It means the Mix Free wireless connection is not connected or connection is under establishing. - LED turned on permanently: It means the Mix Free wireless connection is connected. - LED flashing quickly: It means messages are sent to or received from the Mix Free controller. 2. USB Connector. Connect to computer USB port (via the USB directional extension cable). 3. USB protective cover. NEDERLANDS ESPAÑOL ITALIANO 4 FUNCTIONS Mix Free Controller 1. EFFECT ON BUTTON. Press this button to turn on/off the Effect Mode. When in Effect mode, the button will be lightened in red, and the 2 PITCH FADERS (No. 7) and the 4 BEND BUTTONS (No. 8) will be used for decks effect selection and control. ENGLISH 2. POWER SWITCH. To turn on/ off the unit. 3. BEATMATCH LED. These 8 LEDs are used to show the beat of the Deck A and Deck B currently playing tracks. The lights jump according to the beat LEDs in Deckadance. 4. HOLD SWITCH. Press this switch to enable hold mode. In hold mode, all the controls on the unit will be locked, but LEDs and 2 displays will still show the playback status. ITALIANO ESPAÑOL NEDERLANDS DEUTSCH FRANÇAIS 5. LCD DISPLAY. These 2 LCD displays show the current track info and playlist. 6. MONITOR BUTTON. Toggle monitor function for the deck. 7. PITCH FADER. When the effect mode is off, it is used to adjust the pitch of the deck. When the effect mode is on, it is used to control the X-Parameter (horizontal) of the effect on both decks. (The PITCH FADER of deck B will be used to control the YParameter (vertical) of the effect on both decks.) 8. PITCH BEND BUTTONS. When the effect mode is off, these buttons are used as pitch bend function. When the effect mode in on, they are used for effect selection of the deck effect. 9. SCROLL CLICK WHEEL. Use this scroll wheel to select songs in Deckadance Playlist. The LCD display will show the playlist accordingly. Click the wheel to load the selected song to the deck. 10. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP SELECT BUTTON. Press this button to switch between Sample Playback or Auto Loop mode for the 4 buttons in No. 11. Corresponding LED will be lightened for the current mode. 11. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP BUTTONS. - In PLAY SAMPLE mode, these 4 buttons are used to play the samples of Slot 1 to 4 of the samplers in Deckadance. (Slot 5 to 8 samplers for the 4 buttons in deck B) - In AUTO LOOP mode, these 4 buttons are used to activate the Auto Loop function of the deck with different length. 12. MULTI-FUNCTION JOG WHEEL. - When Scratch Mode is off, the jog wheel is used for quick search in the playing song. - When the Scratch Mode is on, the jog wheel is used for scratching. 13. SYNC BUTTON. SYNC function in the software. 14. CUE BUTTON. CUE function in the software. 15. PLAY/ PAUSE BUTTON. PLAY/PAUSE function in the software. 16. SCRATCH ON BUTTON. Toggle the Scratch Mode for the jog wheel. When Scratch Mode is on, the LED will be on. 17. AUTO MIX BUTTON. Press this button to activate Auto Corssfader function to mix to deck A or to deck B. 18. VOLUME FADER. Control the volume faders in software. 5 FUNCTIONS Mix Free Controller 19. EQ HI MID LOW KILL BUTTONS. Toggle EQ kills in software. 20. CROSSFADER. Control the crossfader in software. 21. STAND MOUNT (Bottom Side). For mounting the controller on a microphone stand. 22. STRAP HOLDER. For installing strap or hooks. LCD Display 1. EFFECT TYPE. Shows the current selected effect type of deck. 2. ELAPSED TIME. Shows the current playing time. 4. SONG PROGRESS BAR. Shows the playing progress of current song. FRANÇAIS 3. PLAYING STATUS and SONG TITLE. Shows the Play/ Pause status and the song title. ENGLISH FUNCTIONS 5. BPM DISPLAY. Shows the BPM info of the current song. DEUTSCH 6. PLAYLIST DISPLAY. When the SCROLL CLICK WHEEL is turned, the Playlist Display will be shown. When there is no action for 5 seconds, it will return to Playing Status Display. 7. HIGHLIGHTED SONG. The selected song will be highlighted. Installer le DJ software Deckadance LE 1. Insérer le CD-ROM d’installation dans votre lecteur CD-ROM et suivre les instruction pour installer le logiciel Deckadance LE DJ. 2. Entrer le numéro de série. Le numéro de série se trouve sur la pochette du CD. B. Connecter le récepteur USB 1. Brancher le récepteur USB sur la rallonge USB. 2. Connecter la rallongue USB sur le port de votre ordinateur et ajuster le récepteur pour un rendement maximal. 3. L’ordinateur peut afficher qu’un nouveau périphérique est trouvé et qu’il est ensuite installé et prêt à être utilisé. Aucun driver est nécessaire à l’installation. Les 34 boutons et les 5 fader du Mix Free envoie les données MIDI du contrôler au logiciel DJ Deckadance LE, l’utilisation de la souris est une chose du passée. Pour le paramétrage, aucun assignement du logiciel pour le Mix Free n’est nécessaire – Connecter simplement le contrôleur à l’ordinateur avec le système USB sans fil, activez le dans l’écran de configuration de votre logiciel DJ, et amusez vous ! OPERATIONS C. Connecter le contrôleur Mix Free 1. Retirer le couvercle du compartiment piles à l’arrière du Mix Free et insérer deux piles LR14 (non inclus). Replacer le couvercle du compartiment piles lorsque vous avez terminé. Remarque : Les piles alkaline ont une durée de vie de plus de 10heures dans le Mix Free. Si l’affichage deviant clair ou la connection sans fil devient instable, veuillez remplacer par des piles neuves. DEUTSCH FRANÇAIS ENGLISH  2. Allumer le Mix Free en poussant l’interrupteur situé au dessus du Mix Free sur la position ON. Les deux afficheurs LCD s’affiche comme l’image à droite, et il se connecte au récepteur USB. Remarque : le contrôleur Mix Free doit être éteint lorsque vous connectez le récepteur sur l’appareil.  3. Après quelques secondes, l’affichage devient comme le schema à droite. La LED sur le récepteur USB passe du flash au permanent, ce qui montre que la connection est correctement faite. 4. La distance maximum entre l’émetteur et le récepteur est de 15m à 20m. Lorsque la distance est supérieur à la distance maxi, l’écran s’affiche comme le No. 2. ITALIANO ESPAÑOL NEDERLANDS D. Démarrage du Deckadance LE 1. Double cliquez sur l’icone Deckadance du bureau (pour windows) et sur le repertoire d’application (pour Mac) pour démarrer le logiciel. 2. Allez sur la page Setup du Deckadance LE en cliquant sur le bouton SETUP situé au milieu du logiciel. 3. Vous devez trouver 2 “Mix Free” ou 2 “USB Audio Device” dans la liste MIDI, un pour OUTPUT, un pour INPUT. Activez les en cliquant sur le bouton next. La page Setup s’affiche comme ci dessous : 4. Sortir du setup et essayer de bouger les faders du contrôleur Mix Free. Les fader correspondant devraient bouger en même temps. 5. Veuillez vous referrer à la section suivante pour les descriptions des fonctions du contrôleur Mix Free. Ou veuillez lire le manuel du logiciel Deckadance pour plus de details. 9 FONCTIONS RECEPTEUR USB FONCTIONS CONTROLEUR MIX FREE DEUTSCH 3. Couvercle de protection. FRANÇAIS 2. Connecteur USB. NEDERLANDS ESPAÑOL ITALIANO 10 FONCTIONS CONTROLEUR MIX FREE 1. BOUTON EFFECT ON. Appuyer sur ce bouton pour activer/désactivé le mode effect. 2. BOUTON D’ALIMENTATION. LED BEATMATCH. 8 LED qui sont utilisés pour montrer les battements de la musique en cours de la platine A et de la platine B. Les LED du contrôleur s’accordent avec les lumières de battement du logiciel Deckadance. 4. HOLD SWITCH. Appuyer sur cet interrupteur pour activer le mode HOLD. En mode HOLD, tous les contrôles sur l’appareil sont bloqués, mais les LED et le deux écrans affichent le statut. 5. ECRAN LCD. Il y a 2 écrans LCD pour afficher les informations du morceau et de la playlsit. 6. BOUTON MONITOR. Fonction monitor pour la platine. 7. PITCH FADER. Lorsque le mode effet n’est pas activé, il est utilisé pour ajuster le pitch de la platine. Lorsque l’effet est activé, il est utilisé pour contrôler le paramètre X (horizontal) de l’effet sur les deux platines. (Le PITCH FADER de la platine B sera utilisé pour le paramètre Y (vertical) de l’effet sur les deux platines. 8. BOUTON PITCH BEND. Lorsque le mode effet n’est pas activé, Ces boutons sont utilisés comme fonction pitch bend. Lorsque l’effet est activé, ils sont utilisés pour la sélection des effets. 9. MOLETTE. Utiliser cette molette pour sélectionner les morceaux dans la playlist de Deckadance. L’afficheur LCD affiche la playlist en même temps. Cliquer sur la roué pour charger le morceau sélectionné sur la platine. 10. BOUTON SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP. Appuyer sur ce bouton pour permutter entre lecture simple ou mode Auto Loop. La LED correspondante s’éclaire pour le mode en cours. 11. BOUTON SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP. - En mode PLAY SAMPLE, Il y a 4 boutons qui sont utilisés pour la lecture des samples 1 à 4 du logiciel Deckadance. - En mode AUTO LOOP, Ces 4 boutons sont utilisés pour activer la fonction Auto Loop. 12. ROUE JOG MULTI-FONCTION. - Lorsque le mode Scratch est désactivé, la roue jog est utilisée pour les recherches rapides. - Lorsque le mode Scratch est activé, la roue jog est utilisé pour le scratch. 13. BOUTON SYNC. Fonction SYNC dans le logiciel. 14. BOUTON CUE. Fonction CUE dans le logiciel. 15. BOUTON PLAY/ PAUSE. Fonction PLAY/PAUSE dans le logiciel. 16. BOUTON SCRATCH ON. Roue Jog en Mode Scratch. Lorsque le mode scratch est activé, la LED s’éclaire. 17. BOUTON AUTO MIX. Appuyer sur ce bouton pour activer la fonction Auto Crossfader pour mixer sur la platine A ou la platine B. 18. VOLUME FADER. Contrôle le volume du fader dans le logiciel. 11 O FONCTIONS CONTROLEUR MIX FREE 19. BOUTON EQ HI MID LOW KILL. Permutte entre les différents EQ du logiciel. 20. CROSSFADER. Contrôle le crossfader du logiciel. 21. Ecrou de support (à l’arrière). Pour installer le contrôleur sur un pied microphone. 22. Support pour sangle. Pour installer la sangle. AFFICHEUR LCD ENGLISH FONCTIONS 1. TYPE D’EFFET. Affiche l’effet sélectionné. 3. LECTURE et TITRE DU MORCEAU. Affiche la lecture/ Pause et le titre du morceau. 5. INDICATEUR BPM. Affiche le BPM du morceau. 6. INDICATEUR DE PLAYLIST. Affiche la liste des morceaux. Lorsqu’il n’y a pas d’action pendant 5 secondes, le statut lecture s’affiche. Schützen Sie das Stromkabel, damit niemand darauf tritt oder es gequetscht wird, besonders an den Steckern und dort wo sie aus dem Gerät austreten. 12. Installation der DJ Software Deckadance LE 1. Legen SIe die Installations- CD-Rom in Ihr CD Rom Laufwerk ein und befolgen sie die Installationsanweisungen auf Ihrem Bildschirm um Deckadance LE zu installieren. 2. Geben Sie die Seriennummer der Software ein. Die Seriennummer befindet sich auf der CD Verpackung. B. Verbinden des USB Dongle Receiver 1. Verbinden Sie den USB Receiver mit dem ausrichtbarem USB verlängerungsKabel. 2. Verbinden Sie das verlängerungs- Kabel mit einem USB Port an ihrem Computer und richten Sie den Receiver aufrecht aus um eine optimale Reichweite zu erreichen. 3. Ihr Computer wird Ihnen anzeigen dass eine neue Hardware gefunden und installiert wurde, Sie ist nun betriebsbereit. Es werden keine zusätzlichen Treiber benötigt. Verbinden Sie den Controller mit einem Computer über ein Wireless USB Dongle, wählen Sie den Controller in der Software Konfiguration aus und legen Sie los. INBETRIEBNAHME C. Verbinden des Mix Free Controller 1. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite iIhres Mix Free und legen 2 Größe C (LR14) Batterien (nicht mitgeliefert) schließen Sie das Batteriefach. Hinweis: Spezielle alkaline Batterien können mehr als 10 Stunden Spielzeit mit dem Mix Free ermöglichen. Wenn das Hintergrundlicht des Displays schwächer wird, oder die Wireless Verbindung unstabil wird, wechseln Sie die Batterien aus. ITALIANO ESPAÑOL NEDERLANDS DEUTSCH FRANÇAIS ENGLISH  2. Schalten Sie den Mix Free ein, indem Sie den Power Schalter auf der Oberseite des Mix Free auf die ON Position schalten. Die 2 LCD Displays werden wie rechts zu sehen aufleuchten und Mix Free wird sich mit dem USB Receiver verbinden. Hinweis: Es ist besser sich währen des Verbindens sehr nahe am USB Receiver aufzuhalten.  3. Nach wenigen Sekunden wird das Display das rechte Bild anzeigen. Das rote LED am USB Receiver wird von langsamen aufleuchten zu permanent an wechseln, dies bedeute, das eine Verbindung besteht. 4. Die Reichweite des Wireless Controllers indoor beträgt 15m bis 20m. Befinden Sie sich außer Reichweite zeigt das Display das Bild 2. Begeben Sie sich näher an den Receiver um erneut eine Verbindung aufzubauen. D. Starten von Deckadance LE 1. Doppelklicken Sie das Deckadance LE Icon auf Ihrem Desktop (Windows) oder in Ihrem Programm Ordner (MAC) um die Software zu starten. 2. Öffnen Sie das Setup Menü von Deckadance LE indem Sie den SETUP Schalter in der Mitte der Software betätigen. 3. Sie finden 2”Mix Free” oder 2”USB Audio Device” in der MIDI Liste, einer für Output und einer für Input. Aktivieren Sie sie indem Sie die Schalter neben den Devices anklicken. Ihre Setup Seite sollte nun wie unten aussehen: 4. Beenden SIe das Setup und bewegen Sie die Fader des Mix Free Controllers. Die Entsprechenden Fader auf dem Monitor bewegen sich simultan. 5. Bitte lesen Sie das Kapitel Funktionen des Mix Free Controllers. Oder lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung der Software in Deckadance Help für deteiliertere Beschreibungen der Software Funktionen. 15 FUNKTIONEN USB DANGLE RECEIVER FUNKTIONEN DEUTSCH 3. MIX FREE CONTROLLER NEDERLANDS ESPAÑOL ITALIANO 16 FUNKTIONEN MIX FREE CONTROLLER 1. EFFECT ON SCHALTER. Drücken Sie diesen Schalter um den Effekt Modus an/aus zu schalten. Ist der Effekt Modus aktiviert leuchtet der Schalter rot und die beiden PITCH FADERS (No.7) und die BEND SCHALTER (Nr.8) werden benutzt um den Effekt zu kontrollieren und einem Deck zuzuweisen. ENGLISH 2. POWER SCHALTER. Schaltet das Gerät ein/aus. 3. BEATMATCH LED. Die 8 LEDs zeigen den Beat der auf Deck A und Deck B laufenden Songs. Die LEDs springen simultan zu denen in Deckadance. 4. HOLD SCHALTER. Drücken Sie den Hold Schalter um in den Hold Modus zu wechseln. Im Hold Modus sind alle Kontroll Möglichkeiten des Geräts blockiert. Nur die LEDs und Displays arbeiten weiter. FRANÇAIS 8. PITCH BEND SCHALTER. Ist der Effekt Modus ausgeschaltet, werden diese Schalter als Pitch Bend benutzt. Ist der Effekt Modus eingeschaltet, werden sie benutzt um die Effekte für das jeweilige Deck auszuwählen. ITALIANO ESPAÑOL NEDERLANDS 6. MONITOR BUTTON. Wechseln des Monitors zwischen den Decks. DEUTSCH 5. LCD DISPLAY. Die 2 LED Displays zeigen die aktuelle Track Infos und die Playlist. 7. PITCH FADER. Ist der Effekt Modus ausgeschaltet, werden die Pitch Fader benutzt um die Geschwindigkeit der Decks zu verändern. Ist der Effekt Modus an, werden Sie benutzt um die X und Y Parameter des Effekts zu steuern. Deck A = X (horizontal), Deck B = Y (Vertikal). 9. SCROLL CLICK RAD. Benutzen Sie dieses Scroll Wheel um Songs aus der Deckadance Playlist auszuwählen. Das LCD Display zeigt die Playlist an. Drücken Sie das Scroll Wheel um einen Song auf ein Deck zu laden. 10. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP SELECT SCHALTER. Drücken Sie diesen Schalter um zwischen Sample Playback oder Auto Loop (mit jeweils 4 steuer Schaltern) zu wechseln. Knopf Nr. 11 zeigt durch leuchten den jeweiligen Modus an. 11. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP BUTTONS. - Im Play Sample Modus werden die Steuer Schalter genutzt um Samples aus Slot 1-4 des Sampler in Deckadance zu spielen. Slot 5-8 werden von den Schaltern auf Deck B gesteuert. - Im AUTO LOOP Modus werden die 4 Schalter genutzt um Loops mit verschiedenen Längen zu aktivieren. 12. MULTI-FUNCTION JOG WHEEL. - Ist der Scratch Modus nicht aktiviert wird das Jog Wheel mit einer Search Funktion zum schnellen suchen von Songabschnitten genutzt. - Ist der Scratch Modus aktiviert wird das Jog Wheel zum Scratchen benutzt. 13. SYNC SCHALTER. SYNC Funktion in der Software. 14. CUE SCHALTER. CUE Funktion in der Software. 15. PLAY/ PAUSE SCHALTER. PLAY/PAUSE Funktion in der Software. 16. SCRATCH ON SCHALTER. Steuert den Crossfader in der Software. 21. MONTAGE VORRICHTUNG (UNTERSEITE) UM den Controller auf einen Mikrofon Ständer zu installieren. 22. STRAP HOLDER. For installing strap or hooks. Werken met een ongemakkelijke muis behoort vanaf nu tot het verleden. U hebt voor de Mix Free geen software nodig – verbind gewoon de controller met een draadloze usb-dongle met een computer, selecteer deze in uw dj- softwareconfiguratiescherm en speel! Installatie dj-software Deckadance LE 1. Plaats de installatie-cd in de cd-lezer en volg de instructies op het scherm om de Deckadance LE dj-software te installeren. 2. Voer het serienummer van de software in. Dat nummer staat op de papieren verpakking van de cd. B. Verbinding usb-dongle ontvanger 1. Maak de usb-ontvanger vast aan de directionele usb-verlengkabel. 2. Verbind de verlengkabel met een usb-poort op uw computer en zet de ontvanger rechtop voor een optimaal bereik. 3. De computer meldt eventueel dat nieuwe hardware werd gevonden en verwittigt u dat de hardware is geïnstalleerd en klaar is voor gebruik. Er is geen stuurprogramma nodig voor de installatie. Verbinding Mix Free controller 1. Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak achteraan uw Mix Free en plaats twee batterijen C (LR14) (niet meegeleverd). Plaats het deksel van het batterijvak terug zodra u klaar bent. ITALIANO ESPAÑOL NEDERLANDS DEUTSCH FRANÇAIS ENGLISH  Opmerking: met gewone alkalinebatterijen speelt u langer dan 10 uur op de Mix Free. Zodra de achtergrondverlichting van het scherm verzwakt, of de draadloze verbinding onstabiel wordt, moet u de batterijen vervangen. 2. Schakel de Mix Free in door de stroomschakelaar bovenaan de Mix Free op ON te zetten. Op de 2 lcd-displays verschijnt de tekst zoals rechts aangegeven. De software maakt een verbinding met de usb-ontvanger.  Opmerking: u moet de Mix Free-controller zo dicht mogelijk de usb-ontvanger plaatsen wanneer u een verbinding maakt met de ontvanger. 3. Na enkele seconden wordt de melding op de displays van Mix Free zoals aangegeven op het voorbeeld rechts. Het rode led-lampje op de usb-ontvanger knippert eerst traag en brandt nadien blijvend rood. Dit geeft aan dat de verbinding goed is. 4. Het draadloze bereik binnen is 15 tot 20 meter. Wanneer de draadloze ontvangst buiten bereik is, wordt de display weergegeven zoals in puntje 2. Plaats de Mix Free-controller dichter bij de usb-ontvanger om opnieuw verbinding te maken. D. Starten Deckadance LE 1. Dubbelklik op het Deckadance-pictogram op uw bureaublad (voor Windows) of in uw toepassingenfolder (voor mac) om de software te starten. 2. Ga naar de set-uppagina van Deckadance LE door op de SETUP-toets te klikken in het midden van het toepassingscherm. 3. U vindt 2 “Mix Free” of 2 “USB Audio Device” in de MIDI-lijst, een voor OUTPUT, een voor INPUT. Activeer ze door op de toetsen ernaast te klikken. Uw setuppagina ziet er als volgt uit: 4. Verlaat de set-uppagina en probeer de faders op de Mix Free-controller te bewegen. De overeenkomstige faders moeten op dezelfde manier bewegen. 5. Lees de volgende paragraaf voor een beschrijving van de functies van de Mix Freecontroller. Of lees de softwarehandleiding in Deckadance Help voor meer gedetailleerde informatie over softwarefuncties. 21 FUNCTIES USB-DONGLE ONTVANGER DEUTSCH MIX FREE-CONTROLLER FRANÇAIS FUNCTIES ENGLISH 1. Led-indicator. Wanneer de usb-dongle met een computer verbonden is, brandt het led-lampje en toont het verschillende standen van het apparaat: - led knippert traag: dit betekent dat er geen verbinding is met Mix Free of dat de verbinden nog wordt gemaakt. - led blijft rood: dit betekent dat de draadloze verbinding met Mix Free tot stand is gekomen. - led knippert snel: dit betekent dat de Mix Free-controller berichten verzendt of dat hij berichten ontvangt. 2. Utilice este botón giratorio o rueda para seleccionar las pistas en la lista de reproducción de Deckadance. En la pantalla LCD se mostrará la lista de reproducción. Potrai ballare in mezzo alla gente e mixare allo stesso momento! Mix Free ha 34 bottoni e 5 fader che mandano segnali Midi dal controller al tuo software Decandance Le, potendo evitare di farti usare il mouse o il touchpad del portatile per controllare le funzioni del software. Per fare funzionare il software non c’è bisogno di assegnare alcun paramentro, con Mix-Free infatti basta connettere il controller al computer attraverso la chiavetta wirless Usb e abilitarla all’interno della schermata di configurazione del software ed è subito pronto per suonare! ► Ricevitore Usb con cavo direzionale ► La guida all’installazione e il manuale online OPERATIONS 32 ITALIANO A. Installazione del software Deckadance LE 1. Inserire il cd di installazione all’interno del cd-rom e seguire le istruzioni sul display per installare il software decadace. 2. Inserire il codice seriale per completare l’installazione del software. Puoi trovare il codice seriale sulla confezione del CD. B. Connettere il ricevitore wirless USB 1. Colegare il ricevitore Usb al cavo direzionale USB. 2. Connettere il cavo alla porta Usb del tuo computer e sistemare il ricevitore nella posizione che permette di avere una ricezione ottimale. 3. Sul computer dovrebbe apparirte la finestra che il nuovo hardware è installato e pronto all’uso. Non c’è bisogno di driver per l’installazione. ESPAÑOL ► CD Rom con il Software da dj Deckadance LE per PC e MAC OPERATIONS C. Connettere il controller Mix Free 1. Rimuovere il coperchio delle batterie posto sul retro del controller Mix free e inserisci due pile mezza torcia, tipo C (LR14) non incluse. Rimettere il coperchio quando fintio l’operazione. Se il display perdesse di luminosità o la connessione wirless diventasse instabile si prega di cambiare le batterie. 2. Accendere MixFree spostando su ON la levetta di accensione posta nel pannello superiore di MixFree, i 2 display LED mostreranno che la connessione sta avvenendo.  Note: Potrebbe essere necessario posizionare Mifree in questa fase di connessione vicino al ricevitore USB. 3. Dopo pochi secondi il display di Mix Free diventerà come nella figura riportata sulla destra. Il Led rosso sul ricevitore Usb cambierà da lampeggiare piano a fisso dimostrando che la connessione è avvenuta con successo. 4. La portata della connessione wirless varia da 15 metri a 20 metri per gli spazi al chiuso. Quando la ricezione è fuori dal campo di ricezione il display apparirà come in figura n.2; in questo caso avvicinare il controller Mix Free vicino al ricevitore per una riconnessione. D. Iniziare con Decadance LE 1. Fare doppio click sull’icona di Dacadance sul dektop (windows) o nella cartella Applicazioni (Mac) per lanciare il programma. 2. Andare sulla pagina Setup di Deckadance LE cliccando sopra il pulsante SETUP posto nel mezzo della schermata del software. 3. In questa pagina dovresti trovare 2 scritte “Mix Free” o “2 USB Audio Device” nella MIDI list, una per OUTPUT e una per INPUT. Attivatele entrambe cliccando sul bottone accanto alle scritte. La pagina che vedi dovrebbe essere come la figura sottostante: 4. Uscire dal setup e provare a muovere I fader sul controller Mix Free. I fader che mossi dovrebbero muoversi in corrispondenza a quelli sul software. 5. Leggere Ia prossima sezione per la descrizione delle funzioni del controller Mix Free. Leggere il manuale del software che si trova nella sezione Help di Decadance per ulteriori informazioni riguardo le funzioni del software. 33 FUNZIONI USB DANGLE RECEIVER FRANÇAIS DEUTSCH FUNCTIONS ENGLISH 1. La spia LED. Quando la chiave USB è connessa al computer il LED si accenderà e mostrerà le differenti stati dell’unità. - LED che lampeggia piano : Vuol dire che la connessione wirless a Mix free non è stabilita o è connessa in modo non sufficiente. - LED acceso fisso: Vuol dire che la connessione wirless a Mix free è effettuata. - LED che lampeggia velocemente: Vuol dire che i messaggi sono inviati dal o al ricevitore da l’unità Mix freee. 2. Connettore USB.Connettere alla porta USB del computer (attraverso il cavo direzionale USB). 3. Coperchio di protezione per la chiave USB. Premere questo bottone per attivare o disattivare la modalità effetti. Quando la modalità effetti è accesa questo pulsante sarà illuminato di verde e i due pitch faders (n.7) e i 4 BEND BUTTONS (N.8) saranno usati per selezionare e controllare gli effetti. 2. POWER SWITCH.. Per accende o spegne l’unità Mix free. 3. BEATMATCH LED..Questi 8 LED sono usati per vedere le battute del deck A e del Deck B della traccia che stà suonando. Queste luci si muoveranno allo stesso tempo dei LED in Decadance. 4. HOLD SWITCH..Premendo questo tasto si abiliterà la funzione HOLD MODE. In Hold Mode tutti i controlli dell’unità saranno bloccati ad eccezzione dei 2 display che mostreranno l’avanzamento delle traccie. 5. LCD DISPLAY. Questi 2 Display LCD mostrano le infomrazioni della traccia che sta suonando e delle playlist. 6. MONITOR BUTTON. Premendo si abilita la funzione monitor per ciascun deck. 7. PITCH FADER. Quando la modalità effetti è spenta questi controlli servono per regolare la velocità del deck. Quando la modalità effetti è accesa questi controlli vengono usati come parametric degli effetti: X (orizzontale) su entrambi i deck. (il PITCH FADER del Deck B verrà usato per controllare il parametro Y (verticale) dell’effetto su entrambi i deck). 8. PITCH BEND BUTTONS. Quando la modalità effetti è spenta questi bottoni sono usati come pitch bend. Quando la funzioni effetti è accesa sono usati per selezionare l’effetto che si desidera utilizzare sul deck. 9. SCROLL CLICK WHEEL. Usare questo rotellina per selezionare le canzoni all’interno delle playlist di dackadance. Il Display LCD mostrerà la playlist scelta. Cliccando sulla rotellina si carica il brano selezionato sul deck. 10. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP SELECT BUTTON. Press this button to switch between Sample Playback or Auto Loop mode for the 4 buttons in No. 11. Corresponding LED will be lightened for the current mode. Premere questi bottoni per cambiare tra la modalità Sample Playback e la modalità Auto Loop dei 4 bottoni della figura 11. Il LED si accenderà in in corrispondenza alla scelta della modalità effettuata. 11. SAMPLE/ AUTO LOOP BUTTONS. - Nella modalità PLAY SAMPLE questi 4 bottoni sono usati per comandare i campioni del campionatore di Deckadance dallo slot 1 al 4. (gli slot dal 5 al 8 sono nel Deck B). - Nella modalità AUTO LOOP questi bottoni sono usati per attivare la funzione AUTO LOOP sul deck per selezionare diverse lunghezze del loop. 12. MULTI-FUNCTION JOG WHEEL. - Quando la modalità scratch è spenta la jog wheel è usata per cercare rapidamente all’interno della canzone che stà suonando. - Quando la modalità Scratch Mode è attiva la jog whel è usata per scratching. 13. SYNC BUTTON. Attiva la funzione SYNC del software. 14. CUE BUTTON. Attiva la funzione CUE del software. 15. PLAY/ PAUSE BUTTON. Funzioni PLAY/PAUSE del software. 16. SCRATCH ON BUTTON. Premere per attivare la funzione Scratch della jog wheel. Quando la modalità è attiva il LED sarà acceso. 17. AUTO MIX BUTTON. Premere questo bottone per attivare l’Auto Crossfader che mixa tra automaticamente tra i deck A e deck B o viceversa. 18. VOLUME FADER.
