Introduction

The echo and roger beep module PNI ECH01 is designed to work together

with any CB and VHF/UHF transceiver as an additional module, having as

main functions:

• Generating the echo eect of the signal captured by the transceiver’s

microphone and inserting it in the modulation level;

• Generating a custom signal (MP3 audio ﬁle) at the end of the transmission

and maintaining it.

Technical speciﬁcations

• Supply voltage: 9 - 12V

• Idle current: 6 mA

• Operating current: 56 mA

• Distortion ~ 3.72% (depending on microphone capsule)

• Supported ﬁles: MP3, WAV

• Audio ﬁle length: 1.5 sec. (ﬁrmware V1.0)

Copy MP3 ﬁle to Echo and Roger Beep module

Copy an MP3 / WAV ﬁle to the Echo and Roger Beep module following the

steps below:

1. With the module already connected to the transceiver according to the

connection diagrams shown below:

• Turn on the radio station.

• Move the switch to the Open position.

• Connect a USB - Micro USB data cable between the PC (laptop) and the

echo module.

• Delete the existing ﬁle and copy the new ﬁle.

• To disconnect, safely remove the storage media from the operating system

(“Eject” or “Safely remove mass storage”).

• Disconnect the USB cable - Micro USB.

• Move the switch to the Close position.

Caution: Do not transmit with the transceiver while the module is connected

to the computer via a micro USB cable.

2. With the module out of the box (before being connected to the transceiver):

• Move the switch to the Open position.

• Connect a USB - Micro USB data cable between the PC (laptop) and the

echo module.

• Delete the existing ﬁle and copy the new ﬁle.

• To disconnect, safely remove the storage media from the operating system

(“Eject” or “Safely remove mass storage”).

• Disconnect the USB cable - Micro USB.

• Move the switch to the Close position.

The audio ﬁle must have the following technical characteristics:

• Maximum length 1.5 seconds

• Transmission speed 8- 320Kbps

 MP3 / WAV ﬁle type

• Medium volume level.

Копирайте MP3/WAV файл в модула Echo и Roger Beep, като следвате

Das Echo- und Roger-Beep-Modul PNI ECH01 wurde entwickelt, um mit jedem

CB- und VHF/UHF-Transceiver als zusätzliches Modul zusammenzuarbeiten

und hat als Hauptfunktionen:

• Erzeugen des Echoeekts des vom Mikrofon des Transceivers erfassten

Signals und Einfügen in den Modulationspegel;

• Generieren eines benutzerdeﬁnierten Signals (MP3-Audiodatei) am Ende

der Übertragung und dessen Beibehaltung.

• Versorgungsspannung: 9 - 12V

Kopieren Sie die MP3-Datei in das Echo- und Roger Beep-

Modul

Kopieren Sie eine MP3-/WAV-Datei in das Echo- und Roger Beep-Modul,

indem Sie die folgenden Schritte ausführen:

Achtung: Senden Sie nicht mit dem Transceiver, während das Modul über ein

Micro-USB-Kabel mit dem Computer verbunden ist.

2. Mit dem ausgepackten Modul (vor dem Anschluss an den Transceiver):

• Bewegen Sie den Schalter in die oene Position.

• Schließen Sie ein USB-Micro-USB-Datenkabel zwischen dem PC

(Laptop) und dem Echo-Modul an.

• Löschen Sie die vorhandene Datei und kopieren Sie die neue Datei.

• Zum Trennen das Speichermedium sicher aus dem Betriebssystem

entfernen („Auswerfen“ oder „Massenspeicher sicher entfernen“).

• Trennen Sie das USB-Kabel - Micro-USB.

• Bewegen Sie den Schalter in die geschlossene Position.

El módulo echo y roger beep PNI ECH01 está diseñado para trabajar en

conjunto con cualquier transceptor CB y VHF/UHF como un módulo adicional,

teniendo como funciones principales:

• Generando el efecto eco de la señal captada por el micrófono del

transceptor e insertándolo en el nivel de modulación;

• Generar una señal personalizada (archivo de audio MP3) al ﬁnal de la

transmisión y mantenerla.

• Tensión de alimentación: 9 - 12V

• Corriente inactiva: 6 mA

• Corriente de funcionamiento: 56 mA

• Distorsión ~ 3,72% (dependiendo de la cápsula del micrófono)

Copie el archivo MP3 al módulo Echo y Roger Beep

Copie un archivo MP3/WAV al módulo Echo and Roger Beep siguiendo los

pasos a continuación:

1. Con el módulo ya conectado al transceptor según los esquemas de conexión

De echo- en rogerpiepmodule PNI ECH01 is ontworpen om samen te

werken met elke CB- en VHF/UHF-transceiver als een extra module, met als

belangrijkste functies:

Kopieer MP3-bestand naar Echo en Roger Beep-module

Kopieer een MP3 / WAV-bestand naar de Echo en Roger Beep-module door

de onderstaande stappen te volgen:

1. Met de module al aangesloten op de transceiver volgens de onderstaande

aansluitschema’s:

• Zet het radiostation aan.

• Zet de schakelaar in de Open positie.

Moduł echo i roger beep PNI ECH01 jest przeznaczony do współpracy z

dowolnymi nadajnikami-odbiornikami CB i VHF/UHF jako moduł dodatkowy,

mający jako główne funkcje:

• Generowanie efektu echa sygnału przechwyconego przez mikrofon

transceivera i wprowadzenie go na poziomie modulacji;

• Generowanie niestandardowego sygnału (plik audio MP3) na końcu

transmisji i utrzymywanie go.

Skopiuj plik MP3/WAV do modułu Echo i Roger Beep, wykonując poniższe

czynności:

1. Z modułem już podłączonym do transceivera zgodnie ze schematami połączeń

pokazanymi poniżej:

• Włącz stację radiową.

• Przesuń przełącznik do pozycji otwartej.

• Podłącz kabel USB - Micro USB do transmisji danych między komputerem

(laptopem) a modułem echo.

• Usuń istniejący plik i skopiuj nowy plik.

• Aby się rozłączyć, bezpiecznie usuń nośnik pamięci z systemu operacyjnego

(„Wysuń” lub „Bezpiecznie usuń pamięć masową”).

• Odłącz kabel USB — Micro USB.

Modul de ecou si roger beep PNI ECH01 este proiectat pentru a functiona

impreuna cu orice statie radio din banda CB si VHF/UHF ca si modul aditional,

avand ca functii principale:

• Generarea efectului de ecou a semnalului captat de microfonul statiei radio

si inserarea acestuia in etajul de modulatie;

• Generarea unui semnal pe rsonalizat (ﬁsier MP3 audio) la ﬁnalizarea emisiei

si mentinerea acesteia.

• Tensiunea de alimentare: 9 – 12V

• Curent de mers in gol: 6 mA

• Curent in mod functionare: 56 mA

• Distorsiuni ~ 3.72% (in functie de capsula microfonica)

Copierea unui ﬁsier MP3/WAV pe modulul de Ecou si Roger Beep se

efectueaza urmand pasii de mai jos:

1. Cu modulul conectat deja la statia radio conform diagramelor de conexiuni

de mai jos:

• Porniti statia radio.

• Mutati comutatorul pe pozitia Open.

• Conectati un cablu de date USB - Micro USB intre PC (laptop) si modulul

de ecou.

• Stergeti ﬁsierul existent si copiati ﬁsierul nou.

• Pentru deconectare, procedati la eliminarea in conditii sigure a suportului

de stocare din sistemul de operare ( “Eject” sau “Safely remove mass

storage”).

• Deconectati cablul USB - Micro USB.

• Mutati comutatorul pe pozitia Close.

prin cablu micro USB.

2. Cu modulul scos din cutie (inainte de a ﬁ conectat la statia radio):

• Stergeti ﬁsierul existent si copiati ﬁsierul nou.
