Always keep these instructions with the

appliance also if you move or give it to a

The manufacturer is not responsible if an

incorrect installation and use causes dam-

age.

CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE

PERSON SAFETY

• Do not let persons, children included,

with reduced physical sensory, reduced

mental functions or lack of experience

and knowledge use the appliance. They

must have supervision or instruction for

the operation of the appliance by a per-

son who is responsible for their safety.

Do not let children play with the appli-

ance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

There is the risk of suffocation or injury.

• Keep all detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the

appliance when the door is open.

• Before you close the appliance door,

make sure that children and pets are

not into the drum.

• If the appliance has a child safety de-

vice, we recommend to activate it.

CHILD SAFETY DEVICE

• When you activate this device, you can-

not close the door. This prevents chil-

dren or pets to be closed in the drum.

To activate the device, turn it clockwise,

until the groove is horizontal. To deacti-

vate the device, turn it counterclock-

wise, until the groove is vertical.

GENERAL SAFETY

• Do not use the appliance for professio-

nal use. The appliance is only for do-

mestic use.

• Do not change the specifications of this

appliance. There is the risk of injury and

damage to the appliance.

• Do not put flammable products or

items that are wet with flammable

products in, near or on the appliance.

Risk of explosion or fire.

• Obey the safety instructions on the de-

tergent packaging to prevent burns to

eyes, mouth and throat.

• Make sure that you remove all metal

objects from the laundry. Hard and

sharp material can cause damage to

the appliance.

• Do not touch the glass of the door

while a programme operates. The glass

can be hot.

• Plastic items are not heat resistant.

– If you use a detergent ball, remove it

before you set the drying pro-

gramme.

– Do not use a detergent ball when

you set a non-stop programme.

• Before you set the drying programme,

fully rinse items cleaned with flammable

products. There is a risk of explosion.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Deactivate the appliance and discon-

nect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

• Do not use the appliance without the

filters. Make sure that the installation of

the filters is correct. An incorrect instal-

lation causes water leakages.

INSTALLATION

• The appliance is heavy, be careful when

you move it.

• Do not transport your appliance with-

out the transit bolts, you can damage

internal components and cause leak-

ages or malfunctions.

• Do not install and connect a damaged

appliance.

• Make sure to remove all packaging and

transport bolts.

• Make sure that the mains plug is dis-

connected from the mains socket dur-

ing installation.

• Only a qualified person must do the

electrical installation, the plumbing and

the installation of the appliance. This to

prevent the risks of structural damage

or injury.

• Do not install or use the appliance

where the temperature is less than 0 °C.

• When you install the appliance on a

carpet floor, make sure that there is air

circulation between the appliance and

the carpet. Adjust the feet to have the

necessary space between the appliance

and the carpet.

Water connection

• Do not connect the appliance with old

hoses already used. Only use new ho-

ses.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the

water hoses.

• Do not connect the appliance to new

pipes or pipes not used for a long time.

Let the water flow for some minutes,

then connect the inlet hose.

• The first time you use the appliance,

make sure that the water hoses and the

couplings do not have leakages.

Electrical connection

• Make sure that the appliance is earth-

ed.

• Make sure that the electrical informa-

tion on the rating plate agrees with the

power supply.

• Always use a correctly installed shock-

proof socket.

• Do not use multiple plugs and exten-

sion cables. There is a risk of fire.

• Do not replace or change the mains ca-

ble. Contact the service centre.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the

mains plug and cable.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains

socket only at the end of the installa-

tion. Make sure that there is access to

the mains plug after the installation.

• Do not pull the mains cable to discon-

nect the appliance. Always pull the

mains plug.

DISCARD THE APPLIANCE

Disconnect the mains plug from the

mains socket.

Cut off the mains cable and discard it.

Discard the door catch. This prevents

children or pets to be closed in the

appliance. There is a risk of suffoca-

tion (only for front-loading applian-

ces).

DISPLAY

The display shows the following informa-

tion:

Duration of the set programme

When you set a programme, the display shows the duration in

hours and minutes (for example 2.05).

The duration is calculated automatically on the maximum load for

each type of fabric.

After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated

every minute.

Set drying time

when you set a drying programme, the display shows the drying

time in minutes and/or hours (see paragraph «Drying»).

After the programme has started, the appliance updates the re-

maining time every minute.

Alarm codes

In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be dis-

played, for example

(see chapter «Troubleshooting»).

End of programme

When the programme has finished, the display shows a blinking

zero

The DOOR light C, the WASHING light A (or the DRYING light B)

and the light of button 8 go out.

The door can be opened.

Incorrect option selection

If you set an option which is not compatible with the wash pro-

gramme, the display shows the message Err for some seconds.

The yellow pilot light of button 8 light starts blinking.

Delay Start

When you press the relevant button to set the delay (20 hours

max), it appears for some seconds, then the display shows the du-

ration of the set programme.

The delay time value decreases by one unit every hour. When only

1 hour remains, the time decreases every minute.

Delay Start symbol

This symbol comes on when you set the delay time.

Child safety lock

This symbol comes on when you activate the child lock function.

INDICATOR PILOT LIGHTS

After you have pressed the button 8, the

WASHING light (A) comes on.

The machine is operating.

When you set a drying programme, the

DRYING light (B) illuminate and stays on

during the drying phase.

The DOOR light (C) indicates when the

door can be opened:

• light on: the door cannot be opened

• light blinking: the door is opening in

some minutes

• light off: the door can be opened

ACOUSTIC SIGNALS

The machine is provided with an acoustic

device, which sounds in the following ca-

ses:

• at the end of the cycle

• in the event of operating problems.

By pressing the 3 and 4 buttons simulta-

neously for some seconds, the acoustic

signal is deactivated (except for the

events of operating problems). By press-

ing these two buttons again, the acoustic

signal is reactivated.

CHILD SAFETY LOCK

This device permits you to leave the ap-

pliance unsupervised and not to worry

that children might be injured by or cause

damage to the appliance.

This function remains able also when the

washing machine is not working.

There are two different ways to set this

option:

• Before pressing button 8: it will be im-

possible to start the machine.

• after pressing button 8: it will be impos-

sible to change any other programme

or option.

To enable or disable this option press si-

multaneously for about 6 seconds buttons

4 and 5 until the symbol

comes on or

disappears from the display.

If you select the Super Quick option by pressing button 4, we recommend that you reduce

the maximum load as indicated. Full loading is possible however with somewhat reduced

«Cotton Energy Saving programme » at 60°C with a load of 7 kg is the reference

programme for the data entered in the energy label, in compliance with EEC 92/75

standards.

The consumption data shown on

this chart is to be considered

purely indicative, as it may vary

depending on the quantity and

type of laundry, on the inlet water

temperature and on the ambient

temperature.

FIRST USE

To activate the drain system, put 2 li-

tre of water in the main wash com-

partment of the detergent dispenser.

Put a small quantity of detergent in

the main wash compartment of the

detergent dispenser. Set and start a

programme for cotton at the highest

temperature without laundry. This re-

moves all possible dirt from the drum

and the tub.

DAILY USE - WASHING

Open the appliance door.

Put the laundry in the drum, one item

at a time. Shake the items before you

put them in the appliance. Make sure

not to put too much laundry in the

drum.

Close the door.

Make sure that no laundry stays between

the seal and the door. There is a risk of

water leakage or damage to the laundry.

FILLING THE DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

MAX

The detergent compartment for the prewash phase, the soak pro-

gramme and for the stain function.

Add the detergent for prewash, soak and stain remover before

the start of the programme.

The detergent compartment for the washing phase.

If you use a liquid detergent, put it immediately before you start

the programme.

Liquid additives compartment (fabric conditioner, starch).

Put the product in the compartment before you start the pro-

gramme.

This is the maximum level for the quantity of liquid additives.

Always obey the instructions that you find on the packaging of the deter-

gent products.

SETTING THE PROGRAMME

(KNOB 1 )

Turn the programme selector dial to the

required programme.

The programme dial determines the type

of washing cycle (e.g. water level, drum

movement, number of rinses) and the

washing temperature according to the

type of laundry.

The pilot light of button 8 starts blinking.

The programme dial can be turned either

clockwise or anticlockwise.

If you turn the programme dial to

another programme when the ap-

pliance is working, the yellow pilot

light of button 8 blinks 3 times.

The display shows the message

Err to indicate a wrong selection.

The machine will not perform the

new set programme.

SETTING THE SPIN SPEED

(BUTTON 2)

When you set the programme, the appli-

ance automatically proposes the maxi-

mum spin speed allowed by that pro-

gramme.

Press this button repeatedly to change

the spin speed. The relevant light will

light up.

RINSE HOLD : the water of the last rinse is

not emptied out to prevent the fabrics

from creasing. When the programme has

finished the display shows a blinking

The DOOR pilot light goes on.

The pilot light of button 8 is off. The door

is blocked to indicate that the water must

be emptied out.

To empty the water out please read

chapter «At the end of the pro-

gramme».

SETTING THE STAIN OPTION

(BUTTON 3)

Set this option to treat heavily soiled or

stained laundry with stain remover

The appliance extends the main wash

phase and intensifies the stain action

phase. The relevant light illuminates.

This option is not available with a

temperature lower than 40°C.

If you wish to perform a programme with

the stain option, pour stain remover into

compartment

SETTING THE TIME SAVING

OPTION (BUTTON 4)

This option allows you to modify the

washing time, automatically proposed by

the appliance.

Press button 4

once

DAILY The relative pilot light

comes on.

The washing duration will be

reduced to wash daily soiled

laundry.

QUICK

The relative pilot light re-

mains lit.

The washing duration will be

reduced to wash lightly

SETTING THE EXTRA RINSE

OPTION (BUTTON 5)

This appliance is designed for saving wa-

ter.

However, for people with a very delicate

skin (allergic to detergents) it may be nec-

essary to rinse the laundry using an extra

quantity of water (extra rinse).

The appliance will perform some addi-

tional rinses.

STARTING THE PROGRAMME

(BUTTON 8)

Press the button 8 to start the pro-

gramme. The corresponding red pilot

light stops blinking.

The pilot light A is on to indicate that the

appliance starts operating.

The pilot light C is on to indicate the door

is locked.

Press the button 8 to interrupt a pro-

gramme which is running. The corre-

sponding red pilot light starts blinking.

Press the button 8 again to restart the

programme from the point at which it was

interrupted

If you have chosen a delayed start with

button 9, the machine will begin the

countdown.

If you set an incorrect option, the yellow

pilot light of the button 8 blinks for 3

times. The display shows the message Err

for some seconds.

SETTING THE DELAY START

(BUTTON 9)

Press this button again an again to set the

required delay.

The display shows the set delay time val-

ue (up to 20 hours) for some seconds,

then it shows the duration of the pro-

gramme again.

Set the delay before you press the button

You can delay the wash programme can

be delayed from 30 min - 60 min - 90 min,

2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maxi-

mum of 20 hours.

Adding items after you have set the de-

lay (throughout the delay time the door

will be locked):

• Press the button 8 to put the machine

in pause

• Add the laundry, close the door .

• Press the button 8 again.

Setting the delayed start:

• Set the programme and the required

options.

• Set the delay start.

• Press the button 8: the appliance starts

its hourly countdown.

The programme will start after the se-

lected delay has expired.

Cancelling the delayed start:

• Press the button 8 to set the washing

machine to PAUSE;

• Press the button 9 once until the dis-

play shows the symbol

’;

• Press the button 8 again to start the

programme.

You can change the set delay only

after you set the washing pro-

gramme again.

The Delay Start can not be selected with

DRAIN programme.

ALTERING AN OPTION OR A

RUNNING PROGRAMME

It is possible to change some options be-

fore the programme carries it out. Before

you make any change, you must press the

button 8 to pause the appliance.

Changing a running programme is possi-

ble only by resetting it.

Turn the programme dial to

and then

to the new programme position.

Press the 8 button again to start the new

programme. The washing water in the tub

will not emptied out.

INTERRUPTING A

PROGRAMME

Press the button 8 to interrupt a pro-

gramme which is running, the corre-

sponding light starts blinking. Press the

button again to restart the programme.

CANCELLING A PROGRAMME

Turn the selector dial to to cancel a

programme which is running. Now you

can select a new programme.

OPENING THE DOOR

When the machine is working and

through the delay time, the door is

locked.

If, for any reason, it is necessary to open

it, firstly press the button 8 to set the ma-

chine to pause

If the light C after a few minutes goes off,

the door can be opened.

If the light C stays on and the door re-

mains locked, this means that the ma-

chine is already heating or that the water

level is too high. In this case the door can

not be opened.

If you cannot open the door but you need

to open it, turn the programme dial to

to switch the machine off. After a few mi-

nutes the door can be opened (pay at-

tention to the water level and tempera-

ture !) .

After closing the door, it is necessary to

set the programme and the options

again. Press button 8 to start the pro-

gramme again.

AT THE END OF THE

PROGRAMME

The machine stops automatically. The pi-

lot light of button 8, the pilot lights A and

C go off. A blinking

will appear on the

display.

If you have set a programme or an option

that ends with water in the tub, the light C

remains lit. The door is locked. The water

must be emptied out before opening the

door. During this time the drum continues

to turn at regular intervals until water

drain.

Follow the below instructions to empty

out the water:

•

Turn the programme selector dial to

• Set the DRAIN or SPIN programme

• Reduce the spin speed, if needed

• Press the button 8

• When the programme has finished the

display shows a blinking

. The pilot

light C goes off. The door can be

opened.

Turn the programme selector dial to

to switch the machine off.

Remove the laundry from the drum and

carefully check that the drum is empty. If

you do not intend to carry out another

wash, close the water tap. Leave the door

open to prevent the formation of mildew

and unpleasant smells.

Stand by : once the programme has fin-

ished after a few minutes the energy sav-

ing system will be enabled. The bright-

ness of the display is reduced. By pressing

any button the appliance will come out of

the energy saving status.

The recommended load size is 3 kg for

cottons and linen, and 2 kg for synthetic

items.

It is also possible to dry up to 4 kg

of cotton items (see the «Drying

Programme » table).

The water tap must be open and the

drain hose must be positioned in the

sink or connected to the drain pipe.

Load the laundry.

Select a spin cycle at the maximum

spin speed allowed for the type of

laundry in order to obtain the best

drying performances.

Set the drying programme for Cot-

tons or Synthetic in the Drying sector

of the programme dial.

Press button 6 to set the drying time.

Press this button again and again un-

til the time you want appears on the

display.

For Cottons you can set a drying time

from 10 minutes to 250 minutes

(hours 4.10).

For Synthetic you can select a drying

time from 10 minutes to 130 minutes

(hours 2.10).

Every time you press this button the

drying time increases by 5 minutes.

Note! The programme time will auto-

matically increase by a few minutes.

Press button 8 to start the pro-

gramme.

After the programme has started, the

time remaining is updated every mi-

nute.

If you set only 10 minutes of dry-

ing phase with the timed drying

button, the appliance performs

only a cooling phase.

At the end of the drying programme,

some acoustic signals sound. A blink-

ing

appears on the display.

The pilot light B, and C and the light

of the button 8 go off.

At this point, begins an anti-crease

phase, which lasts for about 10 mi-

nutes. During this time the light C is

on. The door cannot be opened.

If you need to open the door be-

fore or during the anti-crease

phase or to interrupt it, press any

button or turn the programme di-

al to any programme position (ex-

cept O.

The door can be opened after

some minutes. (In any case do not

try to open the door if it is

locked!) .

Turn the selector dial to the O posi-

tion to switch the machine off.

Remove the laundry.

Note!

The different type of cottons (towelling,

sheets, shirts, and so on) or any laundry

items rolling up during the spinning

phase may result in partial dryness.

In the exceptional case that at the end of

the cycle the laundry remains slightly wet,

we suggest that you unfold the rolled up

items, redistribute them evenly in the

drum and select an additional drying cy-

cle of 20-30 minutes.

NON-STOP PROGRAMME:

WASHING AND TIMED

DRYING

The recommended load size is 3 kg for

cotton and 2 kg for synthetic.

It is also possible to dry up to 4 kg

of cotton items (see the «Drying

Programme » table).

CAUTION!

Do not use a dosing device/ball

when carrying out a washing

and drying programme.

Load the laundry.

Add detergent and fabric softener.

Switch the machine on: turn the selec-

tor dial to the required washing pro-

gramme/fabric.

Press the relevant buttons to set the

required options.

If possible, do not set a spin

speed lower than that proposed

by the appliance to avoid too long

a drying time therefore saving en-

ergy. In any case the lowest values

you can select are 900 r.p.m. for

cottons and synthetics and 700

r.p.m. for delicate fabrics. The re-

duction of the spin speed is only

possible after selecting drying.

Press the button 6 to set the drying

time. When selecting a «non-stop

programme» the pilot lights A and B

illuminate.

The DRYING TIME value appears on

the display for some seconds, then

the entire duration of the washing

and drying cycle appears.

If you set a washing programme

and only 10 minutes of drying cy-

cle by pressing the button 6, the

total duration of the cycles dis-

played includes also the unrolling

and the cooling phase.

Press the button 8 to start the pro-

gramme. After the programme has

started, the time remaining is upda-

ted every minute.

At the end of the programme, follow

the indications given in the previous

chapter. Then, turn the selector to the

O position to switch the machine off.

Remove the laundry.

FLUFF IN THE GARMENTS

During the WASHING AND/OR DRYING

PHASE, certain types of fabric, as sponge-

cloth, wool, sweatshirt, could release fluff.

The released fluff could stick to the fabrics

during the next cycle.

This drawback increases with technical

fabrics.

To prevent the lint in your clothes, it is

recommended:

• To do not wash dark fabrics after you

washed and dried light colored fabrics

(new sponge, wool, sweatshirt especial-

ly) and vice versa.

• To air-dry this type of fabrics when they

are washed the first time.

• To clean the filter.

• Perform one or more rinse cycles to

wash the drum between the washing

and drying of fabrics with different col-

ors.

• After the drying phase, thoroughly

clean the empty drum, the gasket and

the door with a wet rag.

HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS

THE LAUNDRY LOAD

• Divide the laundry in: white, coloured,

synthetics, delicates and wool.

• Obey the washing instructions that are

on the laundry care labels.

• Do not wash together white and col-

oured items.

• Some coloured items can discolour with

the first wash. We recommend that you

wash them separately for the first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers,

hooks and poppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the

items.

• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics,

wool and items with painted illustra-

tions.

• Remove hard stains.

• Wash with a special detergent heavy

soil stains.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove

the hooks or put the curtains in a wash-

ing bag or pillowcase.

• Do not wash in the appliance :

– Laundry without hems or with cuts

– Underwired bras.

– Use a washing bag to wash small

items.

• A very small load can cause balance

problems with the spin phase. If this oc-

curs, adjust manually the items in the

tub and start the spin phase again.

STUBBORN STAINS

For some stains, water and detergent is

not sufficient.

We recommend that you remove these

stains before you put the items in the ap-

pliance.

Special stain removers are available. Use

the special stain remover that is applica-

ble to the type of stain and fabric.

DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES

• Only use detergents and additives spe-

cially made for washing machines.

• Do not mix different types of deter-

gents.

• To help the environment, do not use

more than the correct quantity of deter-

gent.

• Obey the instructions that you find on

the on packaging of these products.

• Use the correct products for the type

and colour of the fabric, the pro-

gramme temperature and the level of

soil.

• If you use liquid detergents, do not set

the prewash phase.

• If your appliance has not the detergent

dispenser with the flap device, add the

liquid detergents with a dosing ball.

WATER HARDNESS

If the water hardness in your area is high

or moderate, we recommend that you use

a water softener for washing machines. In

areas where the water hardness is soft it is

not necessary to use a water softener.

To know the water hardness in your area,

contact your local water authority.

Obey the instructions that you find on the

packaging of the products.

Equivalent scales measure the water hard-

ness:

• German degrees (°dH).

• French degrees (°TH).

• mmol/l (millimol for each litre - interna-

tional unit for the hardness of water).

• Clarke degrees.

DRYING HINTS

Prepare the drying cycle

• Open the water tap.

• Do a check if the connection of the

drain hose is correct. Refer to installa-

tion chapter for more information.

• For the maximum laundry load of the

drying programmes, refer to the drying

programmes table.

Do no not set a drying programme for

this laundry:

– Very delicate items.

– Synthetic curtains.

– Woollen and silk items.

– Pieces of clothing with metal inserts.

– Nylon stockings.

– Quilts.

–Bed covers.

– Duvets.

–Anoraks.

– Sleeping bags

– Fabrics with residue of hair sprays, nail

solvents or similar.

– Garments with foam-rubber or materi-

als similar to foam-rubber.

GARMENT LABELS

When you dry ther laundry, obey the indi-

cations on the labels of the manufactur-

ers:

•

= The item can be tumble dried

•

= The drying cycle is at high tem-

perature

•

= The drying cycle is at reduced

temperature

•

= The item can not be tumble dried.

DRYING CYCLE DURATION

The drying time can change depending

on:

• speed of the last spin

• dryness level

• type of laundry

• weight of the load size

GENERAL TIPS

Refer to the «Drying programmes» table

to find the average drying times.

The experience will help you to dry the

laundry in a more correct way. Take note

of the duration drying time of the cycles

done before.

To avoid the static charge at the end of

the drying cycle:

• Use fabric conditioner in the washing

cycle.

• Use special fabric conditioner for tum-

ble dryers.

When the drying programme is comple-

ted remove the laundry in a short time.

ADDITIONAL DRYING

If, at the end of the drying programme,

the laundry is still damp, set a short drying

cycle again.

To avoid creases of fabrics or

shrinks of the clothing do not

over dry the laundry.

CARE AND CLEANING

WARNING!

Disconnect the appliance from the mains

supply before you clean it.

DESCALING

The water we use contains limescale. If it

becomes necessary, use a water softener

to remove limescales.

Use a special product made for washing

machines. Obey the instructions that you

find on the packaging of the manufactur-

er.

Do this separately from the laundry wash.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Clean the appliance only with soap and

warm water. Fully dry all the surfaces.

CAUTION!

Do not use alcohol, solvents or

chemical products.

DOOR SEAL

Regularly examine the seal and remove all

objects from the inner part.

DRUM

Regularly examine the drum to prevent

limescale and rust particles.

Only use special products to remove rust

particles from the drum.

To do this:

• Clean the drum with special product for

stainless steel.

• Start a short programme for cotton at

the maximum temperature with a small

quantity of detergent.

DETERGENT DISPENSER

To clean the dispenser:

Remove the top part of the liquid ad-

ditive compartment.

Clean all the parts with water.

Clean the dispenser recess with a

brush.

Put back the dispenser in the recess.

DRAIN PUMP

The pump should be inspected regularly

and particularly if:

• the appliance does not empty and/or

spin;

• the appliance makes an unusual noise

during draining due to objects such as

safety pins, coins etc. blocking the

pump;

• a problem with water draining is detec-

ted (see chapter “Troubleshooting” for

more details).

WARNING!

Before unscrewing the pump cov-

er, switch the appliance off and

remove the mains plug from the

socket.

Proceed as follows:

Unplug the appliance.

If it is necessary, wait until the water

has cooled down.

Place a container close to the pump

to collect any spillage.

Release the emergency emptying

hose (B), place it in the container and

remove its cap cover.

When no more water comes out, un-

screw the pump cover (A) by turning

it anti-clockwise and remove the fil-

ter. Use pliers, if necessary.

Always keep a rag nearby to dry up

any water spillages when removing

the cover. Clean the filter under a

tap, to remove any traces of fluff.

Remove foreign bodies and fluff from

the filter seat and from the pump im-

peller.

Check carefully whether the pump

impeller rotates (it rotates jerkily). If it

doesn’t rotate, please contact your

Service Centre.

Put the cap back on the emergency

emptying hose and place the latter

back in its seat.

Replace the filter into the pump by

inserting it correctly into the special

guides. Screw the pump cover firmly

by turning it clockwise.

WARNING!

When the appliance is in use and depend-

ing on the programme selected there can

be hot water in the pump.

Never remove the pump cover during a

wash cycle, always wait until the appliance

has finished the cycle, and is empty.

When refitting the pump cover, ensure it

is securely re-tightened so as to stop

leaks and young children being able to re-

move it.

THE INLET HOSE FILTER AND

THE VALVE FILTER

It could be necessary to clean the filters

when:

• The appliance does not fill with water.

• The appliance fills with the water for a

long time.

•

The indicator of button

flashes and

the display shows the related alarm. Re-

fer to 'Troubleshooting'.

WARNING!

Disconnect the mains plug from

the mains socket.

To clean the water inlet filters:

Close the water tap.

Remove the water inlet hose from the

water tap.

Clean the filter in the inlet hose with a

stiff brush.

Remove the inlet hose behind the

appliance.

Clean the filter in the valve with a stiff

brush or a towel.

Install again the inlet hose. Make sure

that the couplings are tight to pre-

vent leakages.

Open the water tap.

EMERGENCY EMPTYING OUT

If the water is not discharged, proceed as

follows to empty out the appliance:

pull out the plug from the power

socket;

close the water tap;

if necessary, wait until the water has

cooled down;

place a bowl on the floor;

place the end of the emergency emp-

tying hose into the bowl;

Remove its cap. The water should

drain by gravity into the bowl. When

the bowl is full, put the cap back on

the hose. Empty the bowl;

Repeat the procedure until water

stops flowing out;

clean the pump if necessary as previ-

ously described;

replace the emergency emptying

hose in its seat after having plugged

it;

screw the pump again.

FROST PRECAUTIONS

If the machine is installed in a place where

the temperature could drop below 0°C,

proceed as follows:

close the water tap;

unscrew the water inlet hose from the

tap;

place the end of the emergency emp-

tying hose and that of the inlet hose

in a bowl placed on the floor. Let wa-

ter drain out;

screw the water inlet hose back on;

put the cap on the emergency empty-

ing hose again;

reposition the emergency emptying

hose.

By doing this, any water remaining in the

machine is removed, avoiding ice forming

and consequently damage to the appli-

ance.

When you use the machine again, make

sure that the ambient temperature is

above 0°C.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Certain problems are due to lack of sim-

ple maintenance or oversights, which can

be solved easily without calling out an en-

gineer. Before contacting your local Serv-

ice Centre, please carry out the checks lis-

ted below.

During machine operation it is possible

that the yellow pilot light of button 8

blinks, one of the following alarm codes

appears on the display and at the same

time some acoustic signals sound every

20 seconds to indicate that the machine is

not working:

•

: problem with the water supply

•

: problem with the water draining

•

: door open

•

: anti-flooding system has activa-

ted

Once the problem has been eliminated,

press the button 8 to restart the pro-

gramme. If after all checks, the problem

persists, contact your local Service Centre.

Problem Possible cause/Solution

The washing machine

does not start:

The door has not been closed.

• Close the door firmly.

The plug is not properly inserted in the power socket.

• Insert the plug into the power socket.

There is no power at the socket.

• Please check your domestic electrical installation.

The main fuse has blown.

•Replace the fuse.

The programme dial is not correctly positioned and

the button 8 has not been pressed.

• Please turn the programme dial and press the but-

ton 8 again.

The delay start has been set.

• If the laundry is to be washed immediately, cancel

the delay start.

The Child safety lock has been activated.

• Deactivate this device.

The machine does not

fill:

The water tap is closed.

• Open the water tap.

The inlet hose is squashed or kinked.

• Check the inlet hose connection.

The filter in the inlet hose or the inlet valve filter are

blocked.

• Clean the water inlet filters. (See "Cleaning the wa-

ter inlet filters" for more details)

The door is not properly closed.

• Close the door firmly.

The machine fills then

empties immediately:

The end of the drain hose is too low.

• Refer to relevant paragraph in «Water drainage»

section.

Check whether there are any leaks from one of the in-

let hose fittings. It is not always easy to see this as the

water runs down the hose; check to see if it is damp.

• Check the water inlet hose connection.

The drain or the inlet hose is damaged.

• Replace it with a new one.

The cap on the emergency emptying hose has not

been replaced or the filter has not been properly

screwed in after cleaning action.

• Refit the cap on the emergency emptying hose or

screw the filter fully in.

Unsatisfactory washing

results:

Too little detergent or unsuitable detergent has been

used.

• Increase the detergent quantity or use another one.

Stubborn stains have not been treated prior to wash-

ing.

• Use commercial products to treat the stubborn

stains.

The correct temperature was not selected.

• Check if you have selected the correct temperature.

Excessive laundry load.

• Reduce the laundry load.

The door will not open:

The programme is still running.

• Wait the end of washing cycle.

The door lock has not been released.

• Wait until the DOOR light has gone off.

There is water in the drum.

• Select drain or spin programme to empty out the

water.

The machine vibrates or

is noisy:

The transit bolts and packing have not been removed.

• Check the correct installation of the appliance.

The support feet have not been adjusted

• Check the correct levelling of the appliance.

Maybe there is very little laundry in the drum.

• Load more laundry.

Spinning starts late or

the machine does not

spin:

The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in

because the laundry is not evenly distributed in the

drum. The laundry is redistributed by reverse rotation

of the drum. This may happen several times before

the unbalance disappears and normal spinning can re-

sume. If, after some minutes, the laundry is still not

evenly distributed in the drum, the machine will not

spin.

• The laundry load is perhaps to little, add more

items, redistribute the load manually and then se-

lect the spinning programme.

The machine does not

dry or does not dry

properly:

The drying time has not been selected.

• Select the drying time.

The water tap is not turned on.

• Open the water tap.

The drain filter is clogged.

• Clean the drain filter.

The machine is overloaded.

• Reduce the laundry load.

The selected drying time or dryness degree was not

suitable for the laundry.

• Select the suitable drying time or the dryness de-

gree for the laundry.

The machine makes an

unusual noise:

The machine is fitted with a type of motor which

makes an unusual noise compared with other tradi-

tional motors. This new motor ensures a softer start

and more even distribution of the laundry in the drum

when spinning, as well as increased stability of the ma-

chine.

No water is visible in

the drum:

Machines based on modern technology operate very

economically using very little water without affecting

performance.

The display shows the

alarm code

Anti-flooding system has activated.

• Pull out the plug from the power socket, close the

water tap and contact the Service Force Centre.

The laundry is full of

different colored fluff:

The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff

of a different colour.

• The drying phase helps to eliminate some fluff.

• Clean the clothes with a fluff remover.

• Thoroughly clean the empty drum, the gasket and

the door with a wet rag.

• Perform a rinse cycle.

• Put a wool or piled fabric rag inside the drum.

• Perform a drying cycle of 10 minutes.

• Remove the old wool cloth.

INSTALLATION

UNPACKING

Use the gloves. Remove the external

film. If necessary, use a cutter.

Remove the cardboard top.

Remove the polystyrene packaging

materials.

Remove the internal film.

Open the door. Remove the polystyr-

ene piece from the door seal and all

the items from the drum.

ENGLISH

Put one of the polystyrene packaging

elements on the floor behind the ap-

pliance. Carefully put down the appli-

ance with the rear side on it. Make

sure not to damage the hoses.

Remove the polystyrene protection

from the bottom.

Pull up the appliance in vertical posi-

tion.

Remove the power supply cable and

the drain hose from the hose holders.

Remove the three bolts. Use the key

supplied with the appliance.

Remove all the packaging and the

transit bolts before you install the

POSITIONING AND LEVELLING

• Install the machine on a flat hard floor.

• Make sure that air circulation around

the machine is not impeded by carpets,

rugs etc.

• Carefully level by screwing the adjusta-

ble feet in or out.

• After having levelled the appliance,

tighten the lock nuts.

• The appliance must be level and stable.

Never place cardboard, wood or

similar materials under the ma-

chine to compensate for any un-

evenness in the floor.

If it is impossible to avoid positioning the

machine next to a gas cooker or coalburn-

ing stove, an insulating panel covered

with aluminium foil on the side facing the

cooker or stove, must be inserted be-

tween the two appliances.

Before placing it on small tiles, apply a

rubber coating.

The water inlet hose and the drain hose

must not be kinked.

CAUTION!

The machine must not be installed

in rooms where the temperature

can drop below 0°C.

THE INLET HOSE

• Connect the hose to the appliance.

Turn the inlet hose only left or right.

Loose the ring nut to set it in the cor-

rect position.

• Connect the water inlet hose to the

cold water tap with 3/4 thread.

CAUTION!

Make sure that there are no leaks

from the couplings.

Do not use an extension hose if

the inlet hose is too short. Contact

the service centre for the replace-

ment of the inlet hose.

Water-stop device

The inlet hose has a water stop device.

This device prevents water leaks in the

hose because of its natural ageing. The

red sector in the window «A» shows this

fault .

If this occur, close the water tap and con-

tact the service centre to replace the

hose.

WATER DRAINAGE

There are different procedures to connect

the drain hose:

With the plastic hose guide.

• On the edge of a sink.

• Make sure that the plastic guide cannot

move when the appliance drains. At-

tach the guide to the water tap or the

wall.

• To a stand pipe with vent-hole.

Refer to the illustration. Directly into a

drain pipe at a height of not less than

60 cm and not more than 100 cm. The

end of the drain hose must always be

ventilated , i.e. the inner diameter of

the drainpipe must be larger than the

external diameter of the drain hose.

Without the plastic hose guide.

• To a sink spigot.

Refer to the illustration. Put the drain

hose in the spigot and tighten it with a

clip. Make sure that the drain hose

makes a loop to prevent that remaining

particles go in the appliance from the

sink.

• Directly to a built-in drain pipe in the

room wall and tighten it with a clip.

You can extend the drain hose to

maximum 400 cm. Contact the

service centre for the other drain

hose and the extension.

The dimensions of the door should be:

– width 595-598 mm

– thickness 16-22 mm

– the height X depends on the height

of the adjacent furniture's base (Fig.

• Hinges

To mount the hinges it is necessary to

drill two holes (dia. 35 mm, depth

12.5-14 mm depending on the depth of

door furniture) on the inner side of the

door. The distance between the holes

hobs fixing centres must be 416 mm.

The distance from upper edge of the

door to the centre of the hole depends

on the adjacent furniture's dimensions.

The hinges will be fixed to the door by

means of screws for wood 1 and 2 (Fig.

4) supplied with the appliance.

• Mounting the door

Fix the hinges to the appliance by

means of the M5x15 screws . The hing-

es can be adjusted to compensate for

possible uneven thickness of the door.

To align the door perfectly it is necessa-

ry to loosen the screw , adjust the door

and tighten the screw A again (Fig. 5).

• Counter-magnet

The appliance is prearranged for a

magnetic closure of the door. To ena-

ble a correct operation of this device, it

is necessary to screw the counter-mag-

net A (steel disk + rubber ring) into the

inner side of the door.

Its position must correspond to the

magnet B on the appliance (Fig. 6).

Do not remove the screw C.

right, invert the position of the plates E ,

the magnet D and the plate C. Mount the

counter-magnet D and the hinges A as

previously described (Fig. 7 )

SEGURIDAD DE NIÑOS Y

PERSONAS VULNERABLES

• Este aparato no debe ser usado por ni-

ños, ni por personas con capacidades

físicas o mentales reducidas, ni por per-

sonas sin experiencia en el manejo del

aparato, a menos que lo hagan bajo las

instrucciones o la supervisión de la per-

sona responsable de su seguridad. No

deje que los niños jueguen con el apa-

rato.

SEGURIDAD DE LOS NIÑOS

• Cuando se activa este dispositivo, no se

puede cerrar la puerta. De esta forma

evitará que los niños o mascotas que-

den encerrados en el tambor. Para acti-

var el dispositivo, gírelo hacia la dere-

cha hasta que la ranura esté en posi-

ción horizontal. Para desactivar el dis-

positivo, gírelo hacia la izquierda hasta

que la ranura esté en posición vertical.

INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES

DE SEGURIDAD

• No utilice el aparato para uso profesio-

nal. Este aparato está diseñado exclusi-

vamente para uso doméstico.

• No cambie las especificaciones de este

aparato. Existe riesgo de lesiones y da-

ños en el aparato.

• No coloque productos inflamables ni

objetos mojados con productos infla-

mables, dentro, cerca o encima del

aparato. Existe peligro de explosión o

incendio.

• Siga las instrucciones de seguridad del

envase de detergente para evitar que-

maduras en ojos, boca y garganta.

• Asegúrese de sacar todos los objetos

metálicos de la colada. Los objetos afi-

lados y duros pueden dañar el aparato.

• No toque el cristal de la puerta mien-

tras esté en marcha un programa. El

cristal puede estar caliente.

• Los elementos de plástico no son resis-

tentes al calor.

– Si utiliza una bola dosificadora de de-

tergente, retírela antes de seleccio-

nar el programa de secado.

– No utilice una bola dosificadora de

detergente si selecciona un progra-

ma sin pausas.

• Antes de seleccionar el programa de

secado, aclare cuidadosamente los ele-

mentos que se hayan limpiado con pro-

ductos inflamables. Existe riesgo de ex-

plosión.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

• Apague el aparato y desenchúfelo de la

toma de corriente.

• No utilice el aparato sin los filtros.

Compruebe que los filtros están instala-

dos correctamente. Una instalación in-

correcta puede provocar fugas de

agua.

INSTALACIÓN

• El aparato es pesado, tenga cuidado

cuando lo mueva.

• No transporte el electrodoméstico sin

los pasadores de transporte, puede da-

ñar los componentes internos y provo-

car fugas o fallos de funcionamiento.

• No instale ni enchufe un aparato daña-

do.

• Asegúrese de quitar todos los pasado-

res del embalaje y transporte.

• Asegúrese de que el enchufe está des-

conectado de la toma de red durante la

instalación.

• La instalación, fontanería y conexiones

eléctricas del aparato debe realizarlas

tan sólo un técnico profesional homolo-

gado. De esta forma se evitarán riesgos

de daños estructurales y lesiones.

• No instale ni utilice el aparato en luga-

res con temperaturas inferiores a 0 ºC.

• Cuando instale el aparato en un suelo

enmoquetado, asegúrese de que el ai-

re circula entre el electrodoméstico y la

moqueta. Ajuste las patas para dispo-

ner del espacio necesario entre el apa-

rato y la moqueta.

Conexión de agua

• No conecte el aparato con tubos anti-

guos ya usados. Utilice únicamente tu-

bos nuevos.

• Asegúrese de no provocar daños en los

tubos de agua.

• No conecte el aparato a tuberías nue-

vas o que no se hayan utilizado durante

un periodo de tiempo largo. Deje co-

rrer el agua durante unos minutos y, a

continuación, conecte la manguera de

entrada.

• La primera vez que use el aparato, ase-

gúrese de que las mangueras y los aco-

plamientos no tengan fugas.

Conexión eléctrica

• Asegúrese de que el aparato está co-

nectado a tierra.

• Asegúrese de que las especificaciones

eléctricas de la placa coinciden con las

del suministro eléctrico de su hogar.

• Utilice siempre una toma con aislamien-

to de conexión a tierra correctamente

instalada.

• No utilice enchufes múltiples ni cables

prolongadores. Existe riesgo de incen-

dio.

• No sustituya ni cambie el cable de su-

ministro de red. Póngase en contacto

con el servicio técnico.

• Asegúrese de no provocar daños en el

enchufe ni en el cable.

• Conecte el enchufe a la toma de co-

rriente únicamente cuando haya termi-

nado la instalación. Asegúrese de tener

acceso al enchufe del suministro de red

una vez instalado el aparato.

• No desconecte el aparato tirando del

cable de conexión a la red. Tire siem-

pre del enchufe.

DESECHE EL APARATO.

Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de

red.

Corte el cable de conexión a la red y

deséchelo.

Deseche el cierre de la puerta. De es-

ta forma evitará que los niños o mas-

cotas queden encerrados en el apara-

to. Existe riesgo de asfixia (solo para

electrodomésticos de carga frontal).

Ajuste del tiempo de secado

Cuando se selecciona un programa de secado, la pantalla muestra

el tiempo de secado en minutos y/u horas (consulte el apartado

"Secado").

Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el aparato actualiza el

tiempo restante cada minuto

Códigos de alarma

En caso de problemas de funcionamiento pueden mostrase algu-

nos códigos de alarma, por ejemplo

(consulte el capítulo

«Solución de problemas»).

Fin de programa

Cuando el programa finaliza, en la pantalla aparece un cero

in-

termitente.

La luz de PUERTA C, la luz de LAVADO A (o la luz de SECADO B) y

la luz de la tecla 8 se apagan.

Se puede abrir la puerta.

Selección de opción incorrecta

Si selecciona una opción que no es compatible con el programa

de lavado, la pantalla muestra el mensaje Err durante unos segun-

dos.

El piloto amarillo del botón 8 empezará a parpadear.

Inicio diferido

Cuando se pulsa la tecla para ajustar el inicio diferido (máx. 20 ho-

ras), aparece durante unos segundos y, posteriormente, la pantalla

muestra la duración del programa seleccionado.

El valor del inicio diferido disminuye en una unidad cada hora.

Cuando sólo queda una hora, el tiempo disminuye a cada minuto.

Símbolo de Inicio diferido

Este símbolo se ilumina cuando se ajusta el tiempo de inicio diferi-

do.

Bloqueo de seguridad para niños

Este símbolo se ilumina cuando se activa la función de bloqueo de

seguridad para niños.

Tras pulsar la tecla 8, se ilumina el piloto

La máquina está funcionando.

Cuando se selecciona un programa de se-

cado, el piloto SECADO (B) permanece

iluminado durante la fase de secado.

El piloto PUERTA (C) indica si ésta se pue-

de abrir:

• encendido: no se puede abrir la puerta

• intermitente: la puerta se podrá abrir

en unos minutos

• apagado: se puede abrir la puerta

SEÑALES SONORAS

La máquina incorpora un dispositivo acús-

tico que suena en los siguientes casos:

• al final del programa

• en caso de producirse problemas de

funcionamiento

Al pulsar las teclas 3 y 4 simultáneamente

durante unos segundos, se desactiva la

señal acústica (excepto en caso de pro-

blemas de funcionamiento). Si vuelve a

pulsar estas dos teclas, se reactivará la se-

ñal acústica.

BLOQUEO DE SEGURIDAD

PARA NIÑOS

Este dispositivo le permite dejar el elec-

trodoméstico sin supervisión sin tener

que preocuparse de si los niños pueden

Los datos de consumo de este

gráfico se indican a título orienta-

tivo, y pueden variar dependien-

do de la cantidad y tipo de pren-

das, la temperatura del agua de

entrada y la temperatura ambien-

te.

PRIMER USO

Para activar el sistema de desagüe,

vierta 2 litros de agua en el comparti-

mento de lavado principal del dosifi-

cador de detergente.

Coloque una pequeña cantidad en el

compartimento de lavado principal

del dosificador. Ajuste e inicie un pro-

grama para algodón a la temperatura

más alta sin colada. De esta forma se

elimina toda la posible suciedad del

tambor y de la cuba.

USO DIARIO - LAVADO

Abra la puerta del aparato.

Introduzca las prendas en el tambor,

una por una. Sacuda las prendas an-

tes de colocarlas en el aparato. Ase-

gúrese de no colocar demasiada co-

lada en el tambor.

Cierre la puerta del aparato.

Asegúrese de que no quedan prendas

enganchadas entre la puerta y el cierre.

Podría provocar fugas de agua y dañar la

colada.

INTRODUCCIÓN DEL DETERGENTE Y LOS ADITIVOS

El compartimento del detergente para la fase de prelavado, el

programa de remojo y la función de manchas.

Añada el detergente para el prelavado, el remojo y el quitaman-

chas antes de iniciar el programa.

El compartimento de detergente para la fase de lavado.

Si utiliza detergente líquido, introdúzcalo inmediatamente antes

de iniciar el programa.

Compartimento para aditivos líquidos (suavizante, almidón).

Ponga el producto en el compartimento antes de iniciar el pro-

grama.

Es el nivel máximo para la cantidad de aditivos líquidos.

Cumpla siempre las instrucciones que se encuentran en el envase de los

productos de detergente.

SELECCIÓN DEL PROGRAMA

(SELECTOR 1)

Gire el selector de programas hasta dejar-

lo en el programa deseado.

El selector de programas determina el ti-

po de ciclo de lavado (por ejemplo, nivel

de agua, movimiento del tambor, número

de aclarados) y la temperatura de lavado

en función del tipo de colada.

El piloto del botón 8 empezará a parpa-

dear.

El selector de programas puede girarse

hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda.

= Reinicio del programa o apagado

de la máquina.

Si gira el selector hasta otro pro-

grama mientras el aparato está

funcionando, el piloto amarillo de

la tecla 8 parpadeará 3 veces. La

pantalla muestra el mensaje Err

para indicar una selección inco-

rrecta. La máquina no pondrá en

marcha el nuevo programa selec-

cionado.

AJUSTE DE LA VELOCIDAD DE

CENTRIFUGADO (TECLA 2)

Cuando selecciona un programa, el apa-

rato propone de forma automática la ve-

locidad de centrifugado máxima permiti-

da para dicho programa.

Pulse esta tecla repetidamente para cam-

biar la velocidad de centrifugado. Se en-

ciende el piloto correspondiente.

Se enciende el piloto de la PUERTA.

El piloto de la tecla 8 se apaga. La puerta

se bloquea para indicar que es necesario

descargar el agua.

SELECCIÓN DE LA OPCIÓN

MANCHAS (TECLA 3)

Seleccione esta opción para ropa muy su-

cia o con manchas con un quitamanchas.

El aparato prolonga la fase de lavado

principal e intensifica la fase de acción de

manchas. Se enciende el piloto corres-

con temperaturas inferiores a 40

SELECCIÓN DE LA OPCIÓN

ACLARADO EXTRA (TECLA 5)

El aparato se ha diseñado para consumir

poca energía.

No obstante, para personas con piel muy

delicada (alérgicas al detergente) puede

resultar necesario aclarar las prendas con

una cantidad adicional de agua (aclarado

extra).

El aparato realiza algunos aclarados adi-

cionales.

INICIO DEL PROGRAMA

(TECLA 8)

Pulse el botón 8 para iniciar el programa.

El piloto rojo correspondiente dejará de

parpadear.

El piloto A se enciende para indicar que

la lavadora se pone en marcha.

El piloto C se enciende para indicar que

la puerta está bloqueada.

Pulse la tecla 8 para interrumpir el progra-

ma que está en marcha. El piloto rojo co-

rrespondiente empieza a parpadear.

Para reiniciar el programa a partir del

punto en el que se interrumpió, pulse de

nuevo la tecla 8.

Si ha seleccionado un intervalo de inicio

diferido con la tecla 9, la máquina comen-

zará la cuenta atrás.

Si se selecciona una opción incorrecta, el

piloto amarillo de la tecla 8 parpadea 3

veces. La pantalla muestra el mensaje Err

durante unos segundos.

SELECCIÓN DEL INICIO

DIFERIDO (TECLA 9)

Pulse de nuevo esta tecla para seleccionar

el tiempo de inicio diferido.

La pantalla muestra el valor del tiempo de

inicio diferido (hasta 20 horas) durante

unos segundos y, a continuación, muestra

de nuevo la duración del programa.

Seleccione el tiempo de inicio diferido

antes de pulsar la tecla 8.

Puede retrasar el programa de lavado

desde 30 - 60 - 90 minutos, 2 horas y, a

continuación, en segmentos de 1 hora

hasta un máximo de 20 horas.

Añadir ropa tras seleccionar el tiempo

de inicio diferido (durante el tiempo de

inicio diferido la puerta permanece blo-

queada):

•Pulse la tecla 8 para poner el aparato

en pausa.

• Añada la ropa y cierre la puerta.

•Pulse la tecla 8 de nuevo.

Ajuste del inicio diferido:

• Seleccione el programa y las opciones

necesarias.

• Ajuste el inicio diferido.

•Pulse la tecla 8: el aparato inicia la

cuenta atrás horaria.

El programa se inicia una vez finalizado

el intervalo de inicio diferido seleccio-

nado.

Cancelación del inicio diferido:

•Pulse la tecla 8 para poner la lavadora

en PAUSA;

•Pulse la tecla 9 una vez hasta que la

pantalla muestre el símbolo

’;

• Vuelva a pulsar la tecla 8 para iniciar el

programa.

El inicio diferido seleccionado só-

lo se podrá modificar una vez se

haya vuelto a seleccionar el pro-

grama de lavado.

El inicio diferido no puede seleccionarse

con el programa Descarga.

CAMBIO DE UNA OPCIÓN O

DE UN PROGRAMA EN

MARCHA

Es posible cambiar cualquier opción antes

de que el programa la ejecute. Antes de

ESPAÑOL

realizar cambios, es necesario pulsar la

tecla 8 para poner el aparato en pausa.

El cambio de un programa en marcha só-

lo puede realizarse reajustándolo.

Gire el selector de programas hasta

seguidamente, hasta la posición del nue-

vo programa.

Vuelva a pulsar la tecla 8 para iniciar el

nuevo programa. El agua de lavado de la

cuba no se vaciará.

INTERRUPCIÓN DE UN

PROGRAMA

Pulse la tecla 8 para interrumpir el progra-

ma en marcha; el piloto correspondiente

empieza a parpadear. Vuelva a presionar

el botón para reiniciar el programa.

CANCELACIÓN DE UN

PROGRAMA

Gire el selector de programas hasta

para cancelar un programa una vez que

está en marcha. Después puede seleccio-

nar otro programa.

APERTURA DE LA PUERTA

La puerta está bloqueada mientras la la-

vadora está funcionando o con el inicio

diferido activado.

Si necesita abrirla por cualquier motivo,

pulse primeramente la tecla8 para poner

el aparato en pausa.

Si la luz C se apaga en unos minutos, pue-

de abrir la puerta.

Si la luz C sigue encendida y la puerta

permanece bloqueada, la máquina ya es-

tá en fase de calentamiento o el nivel de

agua es demasiado alto. En este caso no

se puede abrir la puerta

Si no puede abrir la puerta pero es indis-

pensable hacerlo, gire el selector de pro-

gramas hasta la posición

para apagar

la máquina. Transcurridos unos minutos

podrá abrir la puerta (preste atención al

nivel del agua y a la temperatura). .

Cuando cierre la puerta, tendrá que vol-

ver a ajustar el programa y las opciones.

Pulse la tecla 8 para iniciar de nuevo el

programa.

AL FINALIZAR EL PROGRAMA

El aparato se para automáticamente. El

piloto de la tecla 8 y los pilotos A y C se

apagan. En la pantalla parece un

inter-

mitente.

Si se ha seleccionado un programa u op-

ción que finaliza dejando agua en la cuba,

el piloto C permanecerá encendido. La

puerta está bloqueada. Es necesario va-

ciar el agua antes de abrir la puerta Du-

rante este periodo de tiempo, el tambor

sigue girando a intervalos regulares hasta

que se drena el agua.

Siga las instrucciones que se indican a

continuación para vaciar el agua:

•

Gire el selector de programas hasta

• Seleccione el programa DESCARGA o

CENTRIFUGADO

• Si es necesario, reduzca la velocidad de

centrifugado.

•Pulse la tecla 8.

• Cuando el programa finaliza, en la pan-

talla aparece un

intermitente. La luz

del piloto C se apaga. Se puede abrir la

puerta.

Gire el selector de programas hasta

para apagar la máquina.

Retire las prendas del tambor y cerciórese

de que el tambor queda vacío. Si no va a

realizar otro lavado, cierre la toma del

agua. Deje la puerta abierta para evitar la

aparición de moho y olores desagrada-

bles.

Espera: tras terminarse el programa y

trascurridos algunos minutos, se habilita

el sistema de ahorro energético. El brillo

de la pantalla disminuye. Presione cual-

quier tecla para desactivar el sistema de

ahorro de energía del aparato.

USO DIARIO - SECADO

SÓLO SECADO

La carga máxima recomendada es de 3 kg

para tejidos de algodón y lino y de 2 kg

para sintéticos.

También es posible secar hasta 4

kg de tejidos de algodón (consul-

te la tabla «Programas de seca-

do»).

El grifo debe estar abierto y la mangue-

ra de desagüe debe colocarse en la pila

o conectarse a la tubería de desagüe.

Cargue la ropa.

Para obtener los mejores resultados,

seleccione un ciclo de centrifugado a

la velocidad máxima permitida para

el tipo de colada.

Seleccione el programa de secado

para Algodón o Sintéticos en el sec-

tor Secado del selector de progra-

mas.

Pulse el botón 6 para ajustar el tiem-

po de secado. Pulse este botón repe-

tidamente hasta que aparezca el

tiempo que desee en la pantalla.

Para los tejidos de algodón puede

elegir un tiempo de secado de 10 a

250 minutos (4.10 horas).

Para los tejidos sintéticos puede ele-

gir un tiempo de secado de 10 a 130

minutos (2.10 horas).

Cada pulsación del botón aumenta el

tiempo de secado en 5 minutos.

Nota: El tiempo del programa se in-

crementará automáticamente en al-

gunos minutos.

Pulse la tecla 8 para iniciar el progra-

ma.

Una vez que se ha iniciado el progra-

ma, el tiempo restante se actualiza

cada minuto.

Si ajusta sólo 10 minutos de fase

de secado con la tecla de tiempo

de secado, el aparato sólo ejecuta

una fase de enfriamiento.

Al final del programa de secado, se

emiten algunas señales acústicas. En

la pantalla parpadea

El piloto B y C y la luz del botón 8 se

apagan.

En este momento comienza la fase

antiarrugas, que dura unos 10 minu-

tos. Durante este tiempo, la luz C está

encendida. La puerta no se puede

abrir.

Si necesita abrir la puerta antes de

la fase antiarrugas o durante la

misma, o si quiere interrumpirla,

pulse cualquier botón o gire el se-

lector de programas a cualquier

posición (a excepción de O).

Transcurridos unos minutos es po-

sible abrir la puerta. En cualquier

caso, no fuerce nunca la puerta si

está bloqueada. .

Gire el selector de programas hasta

O para apagar la máquina.

Retire las prendas.

Nota:

El resultado depende de los distintos ti-

pos de algodón (toallas, sábanas, cami-

sas, etc.) o de la disposición de las pren-

das durante la fase de centrifugado.

En el caso poco probable de que la ropa

siga húmeda al final del ciclo de secado,

sugerimos que despliegue las prendas

enrolladas, las distribuya uniformemente

en el tambor y seleccione después un ci-

clo de secado adicional de 20 a 30 minu-

tos.

PROGRAMA SIN PAUSAS:

LAVADO Y SECADO POR

TIEMPO

La carga máxima recomendada es de 3 kg

para tejidos de algodón y de 2 kg para

sintéticos.

También es posible secar hasta 4

kg de tejidos de algodón (consul-

te la tabla «Programas de seca-

do»).

PRECAUCIÓN

No utilice dispositivos de dosifi-

cación de detergente para los

programas de lavado y secado.

Cargue la ropa.

Añada el detergente y el suavizante.

ESPAÑOL

Encienda la máquina: gire el selector

hasta el programa de lavado/tejido

que desee.

Pulse los botones correspondientes

para ajustar las opciones que desee.

Siempre que sea posible, no ajus-

te una velocidad de centrifugado

inferior a la propuesta por el elec-

trodoméstico, pues así evitará que

el tiempo de secado sea demasia-

do largo y ahorrará energía. En

cualquier caso, los valores más

bajos que pueden seleccionarse

son 900 rpm para prendas de al-

godón y sintéticos y 700 rpm para

tejidos delicados. La reducción de

la velocidad de centrifugado sólo

es posible después de seleccionar

el secado.

Pulse el botón 6 para ajustar el tiem-

po de secado. Al seleccionar un “pro-

grama sin pausas”, los pilotos A y B

se encienden.

El valor del TIEMPO DE SECADO

aparece en la pantalla durante unos

segundos, y a continuación aparece

toda la duración del lavado y el ciclo

de secado.

Si ajusta un programa de lavado y

sólo 10 minutos de ciclo de seca-

do pulsando la tecla 6, la duración

total que se muestra de los ciclos

incluye también la fase de desen-

rollado y enfriamiento.

Pulse el botón 8 para iniciar el pro-

grama. Una vez que se ha iniciado el

programa, el tiempo restante se ac-

tualiza cada minuto.

Una vez finalizado el programa, siga

las instrucciones indicadas en el capí-

tulo anterior. A continuación, gire el

selector de programas hasta O para

apagar el aparato.

Retire las prendas.

PELUSA EN LAS PRENDAS

Durante la FASE DE LAVADO Y SECADO

algunos tipos de tejidos como toallas, la-

na o sudaderas, podrían liberar pelusas.

La pelusa podría adherirse a los tejidos en

el siguiente ciclo.

Este inconveniente aumenta con los teji-

dos técnicos.

Para evitar pelusas en sus prendas, se re-

comienda lo siguiente:

• No lavar tejidos oscuros tras haber lava-

do y secado tejidos claros (sobre todo

toallas, lana y sudaderas) y viceversa.

• Secar al aire este tipo de tejidos la pri-

mera vez que los lave.

• Para limpiar el filtro.

• Realice uno o varios ciclos de aclarado

para lavar el tambor entre el lavado y el

secado de tejidos con diferentes colo-

res.

• Después de la fase de secado, limpie a

fondo el tambor vacío, la junta y la

puerta con un paño húmedo.

CONSEJOS ÚTILES

CARGAR LA COLADA

• Divida la colada en: ropa blanca, ropa

de color, ropa sintética, prendas delica-

das y prendas de lana.

• Siga las instrucciones de lavado que se

encuentran en las etiquetas de las

prendas.

• No lave juntas las prendas blancas y de

color.

• Algunas prendas de color pueden des-

teñir en el primer lavado. Se recomien-

da lavarlas por separado la primera vez.

• Abotone las fundas de almohadas y

cierre las cremalleras, los ganchos y los

broches. Ate las correas.

• Vacíe los bolsillos y despliegue las

prendas.

• Dé la vuelta a las prendas de varias ca-

pas, de lana y con motivos pintados.

• Retire las manchas difíciles.

• Lave con detergente especial las man-

chas difíciles.

• Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Quite

los ganchos o coloque las cortinas en

una bolsa para lavadora o funda de al-

mohada.

• No lave en el aparato:

– Prendas sin dobladillos o desgarra-

das

– Sujetadores con aros.

– Use una bolsa para lavadora para la-

var las prendas pequeñas.

• Una carga muy pequeña puede provo-

car problemas de desequilibrio en la fa-

se de centrifugado. Si esto ocurre, ajus-

te manualmente las prendas en la cuba

e inicie de nuevo la fase de centrifuga-

do.

MANCHAS DIFÍCILES

Para algunas manchas, el agua y el deter-

gente no son suficientes.

Se recomienda eliminar estas manchas

antes de colocar las prendas en el apara-

to.

Existen quitamanchas especiales. Utilice

el quitamanchas especial adecuado al ti-

po de mancha y tejido.

DETERGENTES Y ADITIVOS

• Utilice solo detergentes y aditivos es-

pecialmente fabricados para lavadoras.

• No mezcle diferentes tipos de deter-

gentes.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, no

ponga más detergente del necesario.

• Siga siempre las instrucciones que se

encuentran en el envase de estos pro-

ductos.

• Use los productos adecuados para el ti-

po y color del tejido, la temperatura del

programa y el grado de suciedad.

• Si utiliza detergente líquido, no ajuste

la fase de prelavado.

• Si el aparato no tiene el dosificador de

detergente con dispositivo de com-

puerta, añada los detergentes líquidos

con una bola dosificadora.

DUREZA AGUA

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta o

moderada, se recomienda usar un descal-

cificador de agua para lavadoras. En las

zonas en las que la dureza del agua sea

baja, no es necesario utilizar un descalcifi-

cador.

Póngase en comunicación con las autori-

dades correspondientes para conocer la

dureza del agua de su zona.

Siga siempre las instrucciones que se en-

cuentran en el envase de los productos.

Medida de la dureza del agua en escalas

equivalentes:

• Grados alemanes (°dH).

• Grados franceses (°TH).

• mmol/l (milimol por litro, unidad inter-

nacional de la dureza del agua).

• Grados Clarke.

Prepare el ciclo de secado

• Abra el grifo.

• Compruebe la correcta conexión de la

manguera de descarga. Para obtener

más información, consulte el capítulo

de instalación.

• Para conocer la carga máxima de los

programas de secado, consulte la tabla

de los programas de secado.

No seleccione un programa de secado

para los siguientes tipos de ropa:

– Prendas muy delicadas.

– Cortinas sintéticas.

– Prendas de lana y seda.

– Ropa con adornos metálicos.

– Medias de nailon.

–Colchas.

–Mantas.

– Edredones.

–Anoraks.

– Sacos de dormir.

– Tejidos con restos de lociones o lacas

para el cabello, quitaesmaltes o simila-

res.

– Artículos que contengan gomaespuma

o materiales similares a ella.

ETIQUETAS DE LAS PRENDAS

Para el secado de la ropa, siga las indica-

ciones de las etiquetas de los fabricantes:

•

= La prenda puede secarse en seca-

dora

•

= El ciclo de secado es de alta tem-

peratura

•

= El ciclo de secado es de baja tem-

peratura

•

= La prenda no puede secarse en

secadora

DURACIÓN DEL CICLO DE

SECADO

El tiempo de secado puede variar depen-

diendo de:

• la velocidad del último centrifugado

• el nivel de secado

• Tipo de prenda

• el peso de las prendas que se han car-

gado en la máquina

CONSEJOS GENERALES

Consulte en la tabla «Programas de seca-

do» los tiempos de secado medios.

La experiencia le ayudará a secar la ropa

de forma más correcta. Anote la duración

de los ciclos de secado ya finalizados.

Para evitar la carga estática al final del ci-

clo de secado:

• Utilice el suavizante en el ciclo de lava-

do.

• Utilice un suavizante especial para seca-

doras de tambor.

Cuando haya finalizado el programa de

secado, retire la ropa lo antes posible.

SECADO ADICIONAL

Si las prendas siguen húmedas al final del

programa, vuelva a seleccionar un ciclo

de secado corto.

ADVERTENCIA

Para evitar la formación de arru-

gas o que la ropa se encoja, no

la seque en exceso.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

ADVERTENCIA

Desconecte el aparato de la fuente de ali-

mentación antes de limpiarlo.

DESCALCIFICACIÓN

El agua corriente que utilizamos suele

contener cal. Si es necesario, use un des-

calcificador de agua para eliminar la cal.

Use un producto especial para lavadoras.

Siga siempre las instrucciones que se en-

cuentran en el envase del fabricante.

Hágalo de forma separada del lavado de

la colada.

LIMPIEZA DEL EXTERIOR

Limpie el aparato solo con agua templada

y jabón. Seque completamente todas las

superficies.

PRECAUCIÓN

No utilice alcohol, disolventes ni

otros productos químicos.

JUNTA DE ESTANQUEIDAD DE LA PUERTA

Examine periódicamente la junta y extrai-

ga todos los objetos de la pieza interior.

TAMBOR

Examine periódicamente el tambor para

evitar la formación de cal y partículas de

óxido.

Utilice únicamente productos especiales

para eliminar la partículas de óxido del

tambor.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

• Limpie el tambor con un producto es-

pecial para acero inoxidable.

• Inicie un programa corto para algodón

a la temperatura máxima con una pe-

queña cantidad de detergente.

DOSIFICADOR DE DETERGENTE

Para limpiar el dosificador:

Presione la palanca.

Tire del dosificador hacia fuera.

ESPAÑOL

Retire la parte superior del comparti-

mento de aditivo líquido.

Limpie todas las piezas con agua.

Limpie el hueco del dosificador con

un cepillo.

Vuelva a colocar el dosificador en el

hueco.

BOMBA DE DESAGÜE

El filtro debe inspeccionarse con regulari-

dad, especialmente en caso de que:

• el aparato no desagüe o no centrifu-

gue;

• el aparato presente un ruido extraño

durante la descarga porque haya obje-

tos, como imperdibles, monedas, etc.,

que obstruyan el filtro;

• se detecte un problema con el desagüe

del agua (consulte el capítulo “Solución

de problemas” para obtener más infor-

mación).

ADVERTENCIA

Antes de desatornillar la tapa de

la bomba, apague el aparato y

desenchúfelo de la toma de co-

rriente.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

Desconecte el enchufe de la toma de

corriente.

Si es necesario, espere hasta que el

agua se enfríe.

Coloque un recipiente cerca de la

puerta del filtro para recoger el líqui-

do que pueda derramarse.

Saque la manguera de descarga de

emergencia (B), colóquela en el reci-

piente y quite el tapón.

Cuando deje de salir agua, desenros-

que la tapa del filtro (A) girándola ha-

cia la izquierda y retire el filtro. Utilice

alicates si fuera necesario.

Tenga siempre a mano un trapo para

secar el agua que se derrame al ex-

traer la tapa. Limpie el filtro bajo el

grifo para eliminar los restos de pelu-

sas.

Retire los cuerpos extraños y limpie

las pelusas del filtro y del rotor.

Asegúrese de que el rotor del filtro

gira (gira con sacudidas). Si no gira,

póngase en contacto con el servicio

técnico.

Tapone de nuevo la manguera de

desagüe de emergencia y coloque la

manguera en su sitio.

Vuelva a colocar el filtro en la bomba

insertándolo correctamente en las

guías especiales. Enrosque la tapa de

la bomba firmemente girándola hacia

la derecha.

ADVERTENCIA

Cuando la lavadora está en marcha, de-

pendiendo del programa seleccionado,

puede haber agua caliente en el filtro.

Nunca extraiga la tapa del filtro durante

un ciclo de lavado; espere siempre a que

la lavadora haya terminado el ciclo y esté

vacía. Al volver a colocar la tapa del filtro,

asegúrese de apretarla firmemente para

impedir que se produzcan fugas y que los

niños puedan sacarla.

EL FILTRO DEL TUBO DE

ENTRADA Y EL FILTRO DE LA

VÁLVULA

Podría ser necesario limpiar los filtros

cuando:

• El aparato no carga agua.

• El aparato llena con agua durante mu-

cho tiempo.

•

El indicador de la tecla

parpadea y

la pantalla muestra la alarma corres-

pondiente. Consulte "Solución de pro-

blemas".

Cierre la toma de agua.

Retire las tomas de entrada de agua

de los grifos.

Limpie el filtro del tubo de entrada

trás del aparato.

Limpie el filtro de la válvula con un

cepillo rígido o una toalla.

DESCARGA DE EMERGENCIA

Si la lavadora no descarga, proceda de la

siguiente manera para vaciarla:

desconecte el enchufe de la toma de

corriente;

cierre la toma de agua;

si es necesario, espere a que el agua

se enfríe;

coloque un recipiente en el suelo;

coloque el extremo de la manguera

de vaciado de emergencia en el reci-

piente;

Quite el tapón de la manguera. El

agua debería verterse al recipiente

por acción de la gravedad. Cuando el

recipiente se llene, vuelva a taponar

la manguera. Vacíe el recipiente;

Repita el procedimiento hasta que

deje de salir agua;

si es necesario, limpie la bomba co-

mo se ha descrito anteriormente;

vuelva a colocar la manguera de des-

carga de emergencia en su lugar una

vez que la haya taponado;

vuelva a colocar el filtro

MEDIDAS

ANTICONGELACIÓN

Si la lavadora se instala en un lugar en el

que la temperatura podría descender por

debajo de 0°C, tome las siguientes pre-

cauciones

cierre la toma de agua;

desatornille las tomas de entrada de

agua de los grifos;

coloque el extremo de la manguera

de descarga de emergencia y el ex-

tremo de la manguera de entrada de

agua en un recipiente depositado en

el suelo. Deje salir el agua;

vuelva a apretar la manguera de en-

trada de agua;

vuelva a colocar el tapón de la man-

guera de vaciado de emergencia;

coloque en su posición la manguera

de vaciado de emergencia.

Si hace esto extraerá el agua que quede

en la máquina y evitará que se forme hie-

lo y el electrodoméstico sufra desperfec-

tos

Cuando vuelva a utilizar la máquina, ase-

gúrese de que la temperatura ambiente

es superior a 0°C

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Algunos problemas, que pueden deberse

sencillamente a falta de mantenimiento o

a descuidos, pueden resolverse sin nece-

sidad de llamar al servicio técnico. Antes

de ponerse en contacto con el centro de

servicio técnico local, realice las compro-

baciones indicadas en la lista siguiente.

Durante el funcionamiento de la lavadora,

es posible que el piloto amarillo del bo-

tón 8 parpadee, que aparezca en el indi-

cador uno de los códigos de error si-

guientes y que al mismo tiempo se emi-

tan algunas señales acústicas cada 20 se-

gundos para indicar que la lavadora no

está funcionando

•

: problema con el suministro de

agua

•

: problema con el desagüe

•

: puerta abierta

•

: sistema anti-fugas activado

Cuando se haya solucionado el problema,

pulse la tecla 8 para reiniciar el programa

Si no consigue resolver el problema des-

pués de realizar todas las comprobacio-

nes pertinentes, póngase en contacto con

el centro de servicio técnico.

La lavadora no se pone

en marcha:

La puerta no está cerrada.

• Cierre bien la puerta.

El enchufe no está correctamente insertado en la to-

ma de corriente.

• Inserte el enchufe en la toma.

No hay tensión en la toma de corriente.

• Compruebe la instalación eléctrica doméstica.

Se ha fundido el fusible principal.

• Cambie el fusible.

El selector de programas no está situado correcta-

mente y no se ha pulsado la tecla 8.

• Gire el selector de programas y vuelva a pulsar la

tecla 8.

Se ha seleccionado el inicio diferido.

• Si el lavado va a realizarse de inmediato, cancele el

inicio diferido.

Se ha activado el bloqueo contra la manipulación por

niños.

• Desactive este dispositivo.

La lavadora no se llena

de agua:

El grifo de agua está cerrado.

• Abra el grifo.

La manguera de entrada de agua está doblada o re-

torcida.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de entrada

de agua.

El filtro de la toma de entrada o el filtro de la válvula

de entrada están obstruidos.

• Limpie los filtros de entrada del agua. (Consulte la

sección "Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de

agua").

La puerta no está bien cerrada.

• Cierre bien la puerta.

La lavadora se llena de

agua, pero se vacía de

inmediato:

El extremo de la manguera de desagüe está demasia-

do bajo.

• Consulte el apartado correspondiente de la sección

"Desagüe".

La máquina no desa-

gua, no centrifuga o

ambas cosas:

La manguera de desagüe está doblada o retorcida.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de desa-

güe.

El filtro de descarga está obstruido.

• Limpie el filtro de descarga.

Se ha seleccionado una opción o programa que finali-

za con agua dentro de la cuba o que elimina todas las

fases de centrifugado.

• Seleccione el programa de descarga o de centrifu-

gado.

Las prendas no están uniformemente distribuidas en

el tambor.

• Vuelva a distribuir las prendas.

Hay agua en el suelo:

Se ha utilizado demasiado detergente o un detergen-

te inadecuado (que produce demasiada espuma).

• Reduzca la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

Compruebe si hay fugas en alguno de los racores de

la manguera de entrada de agua. No siempre resulta

fácil detectar las fugas, ya que el agua desciende por

la manguera; compruebe que el racor no está mojado.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de entrada

de agua.

La manguera de desagüe o de entrada está dañada.

• Sustitúyala por una nueva.

No se ha vuelto a colocar el tapón de la manguera de

desagüe de emergencia o no se enroscado el filtro

adecuadamente después de la operación de limpieza.

• Vuelva a colocar el tapón en la manguera de desa-

güe de emergencia o enrosque el filtro hasta el to-

pe.

Los resultados del lava-

do no son satisfacto-

rios:

Se ha utilizado poco detergente o un detergente ina-

decuado.

• Aumente la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

No se han tratado las manchas difíciles antes de lavar

la ropa.

• Emplee productos comerciales para tratar las man-

chas difíciles.

No se ha seleccionado la temperatura adecuada.

• Compruebe si ha seleccionado la temperatura co-

rrecta.

Se han metido demasiadas prendas.

• Reduzca la carga.

La puerta no se abre:

El programa todavía no ha terminado.

• Espere hasta que finalice el ciclo de lavado.

No se ha desbloqueado el cierre de la puerta.

• Espere a que la luz PUERTA se apague.

Hay agua en el tambor.

• Seleccione el programa de descarga o centrifugado

para vaciar el agua.

El aparato vibra o hace

mucho ruido:

No se han quitado los pasadores ni el material de em-

balaje utilizados para transportarla.

• Compruebe la correcta instalación del aparato.

No se han ajustado las patas

• Compruebe que el aparato está correctamente ni-

velado.

Las prendas no están uniformemente distribuidas en

el tambor.

• Vuelva a distribuir las prendas.

Es posible que haya muy pocas prendas en el tambor.

• Introduzca más prendas.

El centrifugado se re-

trasa o la máquina no

centrifuga:

El dispositivo que detecta desequilibrios en la carga

ha interrumpido el proceso debido a que las prendas

no están uniformemente distribuidas en el tambor. La

ropa se redistribuye mediante la rotación inversa del

tambor. Es posible que el tambor gire varias veces an-

tes de que deje de detectarse el problema y se reanu-

de el ciclo de centrifugado normal. Si la carga no se

ha distribuido de manera uniforme transcurridos unos

minutos, la lavadora no centrifuga.

• Es posible que tenga poca carga. Añada más pren-

das, redistribuya la carga manualmente y, a conti-

nuación, seleccione el programa de centrifugado.

La máquina no seca o

no lo hace adecuada-

mente:

No se ha seleccionado el tiempo de secado.

• Seleccione el tiempo de secado.

La toma de agua está cerrada.

• Abra el grifo.

El filtro de descarga está obstruido.

• Limpie el filtro de descarga.

La máquina está sobrecargada.

• Reduzca la carga.

El tiempo de secado o el grado de secado selecciona-

dos no son adecuados para la prenda en cuestión.

• Seleccione el tiempo de secado o el grado de seca-

do adecuados para dicha prenda.

La lavadora emite un

ruido extraño:

La máquina incorpora un tipo de motor que emite un

ruido extraño comparado con el de otros motores tra-

dicionales. Este nuevo motor garantiza un inicio más

suave e incluso una mejor distribución de las prendas

en el tambor durante el centrifugado, así como una

mayor estabilidad de la máquina.

No se ve agua en el

tambor:

Las máquinas de tecnología moderna están diseñadas

para economizar y emplean muy poca agua, sin que

ello afecte al rendimiento.

La pantalla muestra el

código de alarma

Sistema anti-fugas activado.

• Desconecte el enchufe de la toma de corriente, cie-

rre la toma de agua y póngase en contacto con el

centro de servicio técnico.

La colada está llena de

pelusas de diferente

color:

Las prendas que lavó en el ciclo anterior dejaron pelu-

sas de un color diferente.

• La fase de secado ayuda a eliminar algo de pelusa.

• Limpie las prendas con un quitapelusas.

En caso de que haya una cantidad excesiva de pe-

lusa en el tambor, repita el siguiente procedimien-

to dos veces:

• Limpie a fondo el tambor vacío, la junta y la puerta

con un paño húmedo.

• Realice un ciclo de aclarado.

• Coloque un paño de lana o terciopelo en el interior

del tambor.

• Realice un ciclo de secado de 10 minutos.

• Saque el paño de lana.

Ahora ya puede lavar otras prendas.

INSTALACIÓN

DESEMBALAJE

Utilice los guantes. Retire la película

externa. Si es necesario, utilice un cú-

ter.

Retire la cubierta de cartón.

Retire los materiales del embalaje de

poliestireno.

Retire la película interna.

Abra la puerta. Retire la pieza de po-

liestireno de la junta de la puerta y

todos los elementos del tambor.

Extienda uno de los materiales de

embalaje de poliestireno en el suelo

detrás del aparato. Baje con cuidado

el aparato sobre el lado posterior.

Tenga cuidado para no dañar los tu-

bos.

Retire la protección de poliestireno

de la base.

Levante el aparato hasta la posición

vertical.

Retire el cable de alimentación y el

tubo de desagüe de los soportes de

los tubos.

Suelte los tres pernos. Utilice la llave

suministrada con el aparato.

Extraiga los separadores de plástico.

Coloque los tapones de plástico en

los orificios. Encontrará los tapones

en la bolsa del manual de instruccio-

nes.

ADVERTENCIA

Retire todo el embalaje y los pa-

sadores de transporte antes de

instalar el aparato.

Se recomienda guardar el emba-

laje y los pasadores de transporte

para cuando traslade el aparato.

COLOCACIÓN Y NIVELADO

• Instale la máquina en el suelo sobre

una superficie plana y rígida.

• Asegúrese de que el aire circula correc-

tamente alrededor de la lavadora aun-

que haya moqueta, alfombras, etc

• Para nivelar la máquina, enrosque o de-

senrosque las patas ajustables

• Apriete las tuercas de seguridad cuan-

do haya terminado de nivelar el apara-

to.

• El aparato debe estar nivelado y esta-

ble.

No coloque cartón, madera ni

otros materiales similares bajo la

máquina para compensar los des-

niveles del suelo.

Si no se puede evitar situar la máquina

cerca de una cocina de gas u horno de

carbón, debe insertarse entre los dos

electrodomésticos un panel aislante cu-

bierto con hoja de aluminio por la cara

expuesta a la cocina u horno

Si va a colocarla sobre losetas pequeñas,

aplique primero un revestimiento de go-

EL TUBO DE ENTRADA

• Conecte el tubo al aparato. Gire el tu-

bo de entrada solo a la derecha o a la

izquierda. Suelte la tuerca anular para

ajustarla en la posición correcta.

• Conecte el tubo de entrada de agua

fría a una toma de agua fría con rosca

de 3/4.

PRECAUCIÓN

Asegúrese de que no haya fugas

de los acoplamientos.

No utilice ningún tubo de exten-

sión si el tubo de entrada es de-

masiado corto. Póngase en con-

tacto con el servicio técnico para

cambiar el tubo.

Dispositivo antifuga

El tubo de entrada tiene un dispositivo

antifuga. Este dispositivo evita las fugas

de agua del tubo por el desgaste normal.

El sector rojo de la ventana «A» muestra

este fallo.

Si esto ocurre, cierre el grifo de agua y

póngase en contacto con el servicio técni-

co para cambiar el tubo.

DESAGÜE

Hay distintos procedimientos para conec-

tar el tubo de desagüe:

ESPAÑOL

Con la guía de plástico.

• En el borde de un fregadero.

• Asegúrese de que la guía de plástico

no se mueva cuando el aparato desa-

gua. Acople la guía al grifo de agua o a

la pared.

• A un tubo vertical con orificio de venti-

lación.

Consulte la ilustración. Directamente en

un tubo de desagüe a una altura míni-

ma de 60 cm y máxima de 100 cm. El

extremo de la manguera de desagüe

debe quedar siempre al aire; es decir,

el diámetro interior de la tubería de de-

sagüe debe ser mayor que el diámetro

exterior del tubo de desagüe.

Sin la guía de plástico.

• A un desagüe.

Consulte la ilustración. Coloque el tubo

de desagüe en el sumidero y asegúrela

con una brida. Asegúrese de que el tu-

bo de desagüe realiza un bucle para

evitar que las partículas restantes en-

tren en el aparato desde el fregadero.

• Directamente a un tubo de desagüe in-

tegrado en la pared de la habitación y

apretando con una brida.

Puede extender el tubo de desa-

güe hasta un máximo de 400 cm.

Póngase en contacto con el servi-

cio técnico para el otro tubo de

desagüe y la extensión.

• La lavadora viene preparada para que

la puerta pueda abrirse de derecha a iz-

quierda (fig. 2).

• Puerta

La puerta debe tener las siguientes me-

didas:

– Anchura 595 - 598 mm

– Grosor 16 - 22 mm

– la altura X depende de la altura de la

base del mobiliario adyacente (fig. 3).

• Bisagras

Para poner las bisagras es preciso tala-

drar dos orificios (diámetro de 35 mm,

fondo 12,5 - 14 mm dependiendo del

fondo del mueble) por el lado interno

de la puerta. La distancia entre los cen-

tros de ambos orificios debe ser de 416

mm.

La distancia entre el borde superior de

la puerta y el centro del orificio depen-

de de las medidas del mueble adyacen-

te.

Las bisagras se fijan a la puerta con los

tornillos para madera 1 y 2 (fig. 4) que

se suministran con el aparato.

• Montaje de la puerta

Fije las bisagras al aparato con los tor-

nillos M5x15. Las bisagras se pueden

ajustar para compensar cualquier posi-

ble variación de grosor de la puerta.

Para alinear bien la puerta es preciso

aflojar el tornillo, ajustar la puerta y

apretar de nuevo el tornillo A (fig. 5).

No quite el tornillo B (fig. 5).

• Contraimán

El aparato está preparado para llevar

un cierre magnético instalado en la

puerta. Para que este dispositivo fun-

cione correctamente hay que atornillar

el contraimán A (disco de acero con

anillo de goma) por el lado interno de

la puerta.

Su posición debe coincidir con el imán

B del aparato (fig. 6).

No quite el tornillo C.

Si la puerta se va a abrir de izquierda a

derecha, invierta la posición de las placas

E, el imán D y la placa C. Monte el contra-

imán D y las bisagras A según se ha des-

crito previamente (fig. 7).

PRECAUCIÓN
