6' Solar Panel Clamp Adapter Quick-Connect (Model SPC) The SPC 6 ft. clamp adapter with quick-connect is the perfect accessory for your Schumacher solar panel. It can replace or extend the length of the clamps that come with the solar panel. SAFEGUARDS • Read all instructions before using the clamp adapter. • Do not use the clamp adapter if it has been damaged. • Do not attempt to remove or replace the clamps. • Unplug the clamps from the battery when not in use. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: The clamp adapter’s quick-connect is designed to connect directly into your solar panel. Do not attempt to connect the adapter to any other quick-connect attachment or device, as reverse polarity and/ or overcharge conditions will occur. NOT FOR USE WITH BATTERY MAINTAINERS. 1. Read the instructions included with your solar panel, to make sure you understand how your specific solar panel works. 2. Connect the alligator clamps to the battery. 3. Connect the quick-connect to your solar panel. 4. To disconnect, remove the quick-connect from the solar panel, and then unplug the alligator clamps from the battery. CLEANING AND STORAGE • Unplug the clamp adapter before cleaning. • Clean the clamp adapter with a dry, soft cloth. • Do not immerse the clamp plug in any liquid. • Store the clamp adapter in a clean, dry location. If your unit is not free from defective material or workmanship, Manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is solely to repair or replace your product with a new or reconditioned unit at the option of the Manufacturer. It is the obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit, along with proof of purchase and mailing charges prepaid to the manufacturer or its authorized representatives in order for repair or replacement to occur.
