SAFETY INFORMATION

Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the

supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any

injuries or damages that are the result of incorrect installation or

usage. Always keep the instructions in a safe and accessible

location for future reference.

CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE SAFETY

WARNING!

Risk of suffocation, injury or permanent disability.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and

above and by persons with reduced capabilities provided that

they have been given instruction and/or supervision regarding

the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential

hazards involved.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the

appliance unless continuously supervised.

• Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it

appropriately.

• Keep detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door when it is

open.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, this should be

activated.

• Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of

the appliance without supervision.

GENERAL SAFETY

• Do not change the specification of this appliance.

• The appliance shall be installed as a freestanding product or

below the kitchen worktop if space margins permit.

• Do not install the appliance behind a lockable door, a sliding

door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side, that would

prevent the appliance door from being fully opened.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of

the installation process. Make sure that the mains plug is

accessible after installation..

• The ventilation opening in the base (if applicable) must not be

covered by a carpet, mat, or any floor covering.

• Ensure good air ventilation in the located room to avoid the

back flow of gases into the room from appliances burning gas

or other fuels, including open fires.

• Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for

exhausting fumes from any appliances burning gas or other

fuels.

• The operating water pressure at the water entry point from the

outlet connection must be between 0.5 bar (0.05 MPa) and 8

bar (0.8 MPa).

• Do not exceed the maximum load of 7 kg (refer to the

"Programme chart" chapter).

• The appliance must be connected to the water mains using the

new supplied hose sets, or other new hose sets supplied by

the Authorised Service Centre.

• Old hose sets must not be reused.

• If the mains power supply cable is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or

similarly qualified persons to avoid an electrical hazard.

• Wipe away lint or packaging debris that has accumulated

around the appliance.

• Items that have been soiled with substances such as vegetable

or mineral oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers,

turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed

separately with an extra amount of detergent before being dried

in the washer dryer.

• Do not use the appliance if items have been soiled with

industrial chemicals.

• Do not dry unwashed items in the wash dryer.

• Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps,

waterproof textiles, and rubber backed articles and clothes, or

pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the

washer dryer.

• Fabric softeners, or similar products, should only be used as

specified by the product manufacturer’s instructions.

• Remove all objects from items that could be a source of fire

ignition such as lighters or matches.

• Never stop the washer dryer before the end of the drying cycle

unless all items are quickly removed and separated so that

residual heat can dissipate.

• The final part of the washer dryer cycle takes place without heat

(cool down cycle) to ensure that items reach a temperature that

will not cause damage to them.

• Do not use high pressure water sprays and/or steam to clean

the appliance.

• Clean the appliance with a moist cloth. Use only neutral,

detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning

pads, solvents or metal objects.

• Before any maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance

and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION

• Follow the installation instruction supplied with

the appliance.

• Do not install or use the appliance where the

temperature can be less than 0°C or where it is

exposed to the weather.

• Always keep the appliance vertical when being

moved.

• Make sure that there is air circulation between

the appliance and the floor.

• Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts.

• The floor area where the appliance is to be

installed must be flat, stable, heat resistant and

clean.

• Keep the transit bolts in a safe place. If the

appliance is to be moved in future they must be

reattached to lock the drum to prevent internal

damage.

• Always take care when moving the appliance as

it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and

enclosed footwear.

• Do not install or use a damaged appliance.

• Do not install the appliance where the appliance

door cannot be fully opened.

• Adjust the feet to have the necessary space

between the appliance and the flooring.

• When the appliance is in its permanent position,

check that it is fully level with the aid of a spirit

level. If it is not, adjust the feet accordingly.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

WARNING! Risk of fire and electrical

shock.

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Always use a correctly installed shockproof

socket.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension

cables.

• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the

appliance. Always pull the mains plug.

• Do not touch the mains cable or the mains plug

with wet hands.

• This appliance complies with the E.E.C.

Directives.

WATER CONNECTION

• Do not cause damage to the water hoses.

• Before connection to new pipes, pipes not used

for a long time, where repair work has been

carried out or new devices fitted (water meters,

etc.), let the water flow until it is clean and clear.

• Ensure that there are no visible water leaks

during and after the first use of the appliance.

USE

WARNING! Risk of injury, electrical

shock, fire, burns or damage to the

appliance.

• This appliance is for household use only.

• Do not put flammable products or items that are

wet with flammable products in, near or on the

appliance.

• Do not touch the glass door while a programme

is in operation. The glass can get hot.

• Do not dry damaged (torn, frayed) items that

contain padding or fillings.

• If laundry has been washed with a stain

remover, carry out an additional rinse cycle

before starting a drying cycle.

• Make sure that all metal objects are removed

from the laundry.

• Only dry fabrics that are suitable to dry in the

washer dryer. Follow the cleaning instruction on

the item label.

• Plastic items are not heat resistant.

– If a detergent ball is used, remove it before

starting a drying programme.

– Do not use a detergent ball if setting a non-

stop programme.

WARNING! Risk of injury or damage

to the appliance.

• Do not sit or stand on the open door.

• Do not dry dripping wet clothes in the

appliance.

DISPOSAL

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains

electrical and water supplies.

• Cut off the mains electrical cable close to the

appliance and dispose of it.

• Remove the door catch to prevent children or

pets from becoming trapped in the drum.

• Dispose of the appliance in accordance with

local requirements for the disposal of Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

DISPLAY

The display shows:

A. Child lock indicator

This device permits you to leave the appliance

unattended during it's functioning (see «Child

Lock» paragraph).

The indicator comes when the related option is

set.

B. This area shows:

• Programme time

After the programme selection, the duration

is displayed in hours and minutes (for

example 2.10).

The duration is calculated automatically on

the basis of the maximum recommended

load for each type of fabric.

After the programme start, the time

remaining is updated every minute

• Selected drying time

After selecting a drying programme, the

drying time is displayed in minutes or in

hours and minutes (e.g. 130 mins = 2.10).

After the programme start, the time

remaining is updated every minute.

• End of programme

When the programme has finished three

flashing zeros are displayed.

• Delay start

When you press the delay start button, the

display shows the delay start time.

After the programme start, the set delay

appears for few seconds, then the duration

of the set programme is displayed again.

• Alarm codes

If the appliance has a malfunction, the

display shows the alarm codes. Refer to the

chapter 'Troubleshooting' .

• Incorrect option selection

The display shows the message for

some seconds and the Start/Pause

indicator button flashes if :

– You set a option that is not suitable for

the programme.

– You change the programme while it

operates.

OPTIONS

CENTRIFUGAR

With this option you can change the default spin

speed.

The indicator of the set speed comes on.

AGUA EN CUBA/CUBA CHEIA

• Set this option to prevent the laundry creases.

• The related indicator comes on.

• There is a water in the drum when the

programme is completed.

• The drum turns regularly to prevent the laundry

creases.

• The door stays locked. You must drain the water

to unlock the door.

To drain the water refer to ‘At the end

of the programme’.

OPCIONES/OPÇÃO

Press this button to set one of the following

options:

The related indicator comes on.

• Eco

Use this option if you want to wash laundry

saving energy.

The time is prolonged while the temperature is

reduced.

Only for cottons and synthetic items with normal

or light soil at a temperature of 40°C or higher.

• Super Rapido

Press this button to decrease the programme

duration.

Set this option for items with light soil or items

to refresh.

ACLARADO/ENXAG.EXTRA

With this option you can add some rinses to a

washing programme.

Use this option for persons allergic to detergents

and in areas where the water is soft.

The related phase indicator on the control panel

comes on.

TIEMPO/TEMPO DE SEC.

With this option you can set the time for the fabrics

you have to dry (cottons or synthetics) . The display

shows the set value.

Each time you press this button the time value

increases by 5 minutes.

For Cottons you can set a drying time from 10

minutes to 250 minutes (4.10), for synthetics from

10 minutes to 130 minutes (2.10).

You cannot set all time values for

different types of fabrics.

FÁCIL

The laundry is gently washed and spun to avoid any

creasing. In this way ironing is easier.

Furthermore, the appliance will perform some

additional rinses in some programmes.

On cotton programmes the maximum spin speed is

reduced automatically.

INICIO DIFERIDO

With this option you can delay the start of a

programme from 30 minutes to 20 hours.

The display shows the related indicator.

DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR PUERTA/PORTA

The indicator Puerta/Porta shows when the door

can be opened:

• The indicator is on: the door cannot be opened.

• The indicator flashes: the door is opening in

some minutes.

• The indicator is off: the door can be opened.

SETTINGS

CHILD LOCK

With this option you can prevent that the children

play with the control panel.

• To activate/deactivate this option, press

Centrifugar and Opciones/Opção at the same

time until the indicator comes on/goes off.

You can activate this option:

• After you press Inicio/Pausa: the options and

the programme knob are locked.

• Before you press Inicio/Pausa: the appliance

cannot start.

ACOUSTIC SIGNALS

The acoustic signals operate when:

• The programme is completed.

• The appliance has a malfunction.

To deactivate/activate the acoustic signals,

press Aclarado/Enxag.Extra and Tiempo/Tempo de

sec. at the same time for 6 seconds.

If you deactivate the acoustic signals,

they continue to operate when the

appliance has a malfunction.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Put 2 litre of water in the detergent

compartment for washing phase.

This activates the drain system.

2. Put a small quantity of detergent in the

compartment for washing phase.

3. Set and start a programme for cotton at the

highest temperature without laundry.

This removes all possible dirt from the drum and the

tub.

DAILY USE - WASHING ONLY

LOADING THE LAUNDRY

Open the water tap. Connect the mains plug to the

mains socket.

1. Pull the door handle to open the appliance

door.

2. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a time.

3. Shake the items before you put them in the

appliance.

Make sure not to put too much laundry in the drum.

Refer to max. loads indicated in "Programme chart".

4. Close the door.

CAUTION!

Make sure

USING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

1. Measure out the de-

tergent and the fabric

conditioner.

2. Put the detergent

and the fabric condi-

tioner into the com-

partments.

3. Carefully close the

detergent drawer.

DETERGENT COMPARTMENTS

Detergent compartment for pre-

wash phase.

(fabric conditioner, starch).

SETTING A PROGRAMME

1. Turn the programme knob to switch the

appliance on and set the programme:

• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa

flashes.

• The display shows the programme duration.

2. If necessary, change the spin speed or add

available options. When you activate an option,

the indicator of the set option comes on.

To reset a programme or switch the machine off,

turn the programme knob to position.

If you set something incorrect, the

display shows the message .

STARTING A PROGRAMME WITHOUT THE

DELAY START

Press the button Inicio/Pausa.

• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa

stops to flash and stays on.

• The programme starts, the door locks, the

indicator Puerta/Porta is on.

• The programme time decreases with steps

of one minute.

The drain pump can operate for a

short time at the beginning of the

washing cycle.

STARTING A PROGRAMME WITH THE DELAY

START OPTION

1. Press the button Inicio Diferido again and again

until the display shows the delay you want to

set. The delay start indicator comes on.

2. Press the button Inicio/Pausa:

• The door is locked and the indicator Puerta/

Porta is on.

• The appliance starts the countdown.

• When the countdown is completed, the

programme starts automatically.

You can cancel or change the set of

the Inicio Diferido option before you

press the button Inicio/Pausa. After

pressing the button Inicio/Pausa you

can only cancel the Inicio Diferido

option.

To cancel the Inicio Diferido option:

a. Press the button Inicio/Pausa to set the

appliance to pause. The indicator of button

Inicio/Pausa flashes.

b. Press the button Inicio Diferido until the

display shows .

Press the button Inicio/Pausa again to start

the programme immediately.

CANCELLING A RUNNING PROGRAMME

1. Turn the programme knob to position to

cancel the programme and to deactivate the

appliance.

2. Turn the programme knob again to activate the

appliance. Now, you can set a new washing

programme.

Before starting the new programme

the appliance could drain the water. In

this case, make sure that the detergent

is still in the detergent compartment, if

not fill the detergent again.

INTERRUPTING A PROGRAMME AND

CHANGING THE OPTIONS

You can change only some options before they

operate.

1. Press the button Inicio/Pausa.

The indicator flashes.

2. Change the options.

3. Press the button Inicio/Pausa again.

The programme continues.

OPENING THE DOOR

While a programme or the Inicio Diferido operates,

the appliance door is locked. The indicator Puerta/

Porta is on.

CAUTION! If the temperature and

level of the water in the drum are too

high and the drum still rotates, you

cannot open the door.

To open the door during the first minutes of the

cycle or when the Inicio Diferido operates:

1. Press the button Inicio/Pausa to pause the

appliance.

2. Wait until the indicator Puerta/Porta goes off.

3. You can open the door.

4. Close the door and touch the button Inicio/

Pausa again. The programme (or the Inicio

Diferido) continues.

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME

• The appliance stops automatically.

• The acoustic signal operates (if it is activated).

• In the display comes on.

• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa goes

off.

• The door lock indicator Puerta/Porta goes off.

Turn the programme knob to position to

deactivate the appliance.

• You can open the door.

• Remove the laundry from the appliance. Make

sure that the drum is empty.

• Close the water tap.

• Keep the door and the detergent drawer ajar, to

prevent the mildew and odours.

The washing programme is completed, but

there is water in the drum:

• The drum turns regularly to prevent the creases

in the laundry.

• The indicator Agua en cuba/Cuba cheia stays

on to remind you to drain the water.

• The door lock indicator Puerta/Porta is on. The

indicator of button Inicio/Pausa flashes. The

door stays locked.

• You must drain the water to open the door.

Draining the water:

1. To drain the water.

• Set a Descarga or a Centrifugar

programme.

• Press the button Inicio/Pausa. The

appliance drains the water and spins.

2. When the programme is completed and the

door lock indicator Puerta/Porta goes off, you

can open the door.

3. Turn the programme knob to the position to

deactivate the appliance.

STAND BY

Some minutes after the end of the washing

programme, if you do not deactivate the appliance,

the energy saving status activates. The energy

saving status decreases the energy consumption

when the appliance is on the standby:

• All indicators and the display go off.

• The indicator of button Start flashes slowly.

Press one of the buttons to deactivate the energy

saving status.

At the end of the programme

• The appliance stops automatically.

• The acoustic signal operates (if it is activated).

• In the display comes on.

• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa goes

off.

• The door lock indicator Puerta/Porta goes off.

Turn the programme knob to position to

deactivate the appliance.

• You can open the door.

• Remove the laundry from the appliance. Make

sure that the drum is empty.

• Close the water tap.

• Keep the door and the detergent drawer ajar, to

prevent the mildew and odours.

The washing programme is completed, but

there is water in the drum:

• The drum turns regularly to prevent the creases

in the laundry.

• The indicator Agua en cuba/Cuba cheia stays

on to remind you to drain the water.

• The door lock indicator Puerta/Porta is on. The

indicator of button Inicio/Pausa flashes. The

door stays locked.

• You must drain the water to open the door.

Draining the water:

1. To drain the water.

• Set a Descarga or a Centrifugar

programme.

• Press the button Inicio/Pausa. The

appliance drains the water and spins.

2. When the programme is completed and the

door lock indicator Puerta/Porta goes off, you

can open the door.

3. Turn the programme knob to the position

deactivate the appliance.

DAILY USE - DRYING ONLY

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

DRYING SETTING

The recommended load size is 4 kg for

cottons and linen, and 2 kg for

synthetic items.

1. Load the laundry one item at a time.

2. Turn the programme dial to the programme

applicable for the items to dry (cottons or

synthetics).

To have a good drying performance

do not exceed the maximum drying

loads recommended in the user

manual. Do not set a spin speed

lower than the automatic speed of the

set programme.

TIMED DRYING

1. Press the button Tiempo/Tempo de sec. again

and again to set the time value (see the

«Programmes for timed drying» table).

• Each time you press this button the time

value increases by 5 minutes.

• As the appliance calculates also the

duration of the anti-crease and the cooling

phases, the programme time will

automatically increase by some minutes.

2. Press Inicio/Pausa button to start the

programme.

• The display shows regularly a new time

value.

• The indicator Puerta/Porta is on.

If you set only 10 minutes of drying,

the appliance performs only a cooling

phase.

If the laundry is not sufficient dry, set again a short

drying time.

END OF THE DRYING PROGRAMME

The appliance stops automatically.

• The acoustic signals operate (if they are active).

• In the display comes on.

• The indicator of the Inicio/Pausa button goes

off.

• The last minutes of the drying cycle the

appliance performs a cooling and anti-crease

phase. The door is still locked. The display show

a flashing .

When the door locked indicator Puerta/Porta goes

off, you can open the door.

1. Turn the programme knob to position to

deactivate the appliance.

After some minutes from the end of the programme,

the energy saving function automatically

deactivates the appliance.

2. Remove the laundry from the appliance.

Make sure that the drum is empty.

3. Keep the door ajar, to prevent mildew and

odours.

4. Close the water tap.

DAILY USE - WASHING & DRYING

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

NON-STOP PROGRAMME (AUTOMATIC

WASHING & DRYING)

For NON-STOP programme the recommended

load size is 4 kg for cotton and 2 kg for synthetic.

CAUTION! Do not use a dosing

device/ball when carrying out a

washing and drying programme.

1. Load the laundry one item at a time.

2. Put the detergent and the additives in the

appropriate compartment.

3. Turn the programme knob to the required

programme to switch the machine on.

4. Set the available options.

To have a good drying performance

do not exceed the maximum drying

loads recommended in the user

manual. Do not set a spin speed

lower than the automatic speed of the

set programme.

WASHING & TIMED DRYING

To have a good drying the appliance does not let

you set a too low spin speed for the items to be

washed and dried.

1. Press the button Tiempo/Tempo de sec. to set

the drying time value.

After some seconds the display shows the final

time value, that is the total duration of the washing

and drying cycles (washing + drying + anti-crease

+ cooling phases).

If you set only 10 minutes of drying

after washing, the appliance calculates

also the duration of the anti-crease

and the cooling phases.

2. Press Inicio/Pausa button to start the

programme.

The indicator Puerta/Porta comes on. The door is

locked. The display shows regularly a new time

value.

END OF THE PROGRAMME

The appliance stops automatically. The acoustic

signals operate (if they are active).

For more information see 'At the end of the drying

programme " of the previous chapter.

1. Turn the selector dial to the position

switch the machine off.

2. Remove the laundry from the appliance. Make

sure that the drum is empty.

3. Keep the door ajar, to prevent mildew and

odours.

4. Close the water tap.

FLUFF IN THE FABRICS

During the washing and/or drying phase, some

types of fabric, (sponge, sweatshirt) could release

fluff.

The released fluff could stick to the fabrics during

the next cycle.

This inconvenient increases with technical fabrics.

To prevent the fluff in your laundry, we recommend

that you:

• To do not wash dark fabrics after you washed

and dried light coloured fabrics (new sponge,

sweatshirt ) and the contrary.

• To dry this type of fabrics at open air when they

are washed the first time.

• To clean the drain filter.

• After the drying phase, clean the empty drum,

the gasket and the door with a wet cloth.

HINTS AND TIPS

THE LAUNDRY LOAD

• Divide the laundry in: white, coloured,

synthetics, delicates and wool.

• Obey the washing instructions that are on the

laundry care labels.

• Do not wash white and coloured items together.

• Some coloured items can discolour with the first

wash. We recommend that you wash them

separately for the first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers, hooks and

poppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the items.

• Turn multilayered fabrics, wool and items with

painted illustrations inside out.

• Remove hard stains.

• Wash heavy soil stains with a special detergent.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove the hooks

or put the curtains in a washing bag or

pillowcase.

• Do not wash laundry without hems or with cuts.

Use a washing bag to wash small and/or

delicate items (e.g. underwired bras, belts,

tights, etc. ).

• A very small load can cause balance problems

with the spin phase. If this occurs, adjust

manually the items in the tub and start the spin

phase again.

STUBBORN STAINS

For some stains, water and detergent is not

sufficient.

We recommend that you pre-treat these stains

before you put the items in the appliance.

Special stain removers are available. Use the

special stain remover that is applicable to the type

of stain and fabric.

DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES

• Only use detergents and additives specially

made for washing machines:

– powder detergents for all types of fabric,

– powder detergents for delicate fabrics (40

°C max) and woollens,

– liquid detergents, preferably for low

temperature wash programmes (60 °C max)

for all types of fabric, or special for woollens

only.

• Do not mix different types of detergents.

• To help the environment, do not use more than

the correct quantity of detergent.

• Obey the instructions that you find on the on

packaging of these products.

• Use the correct products for the type and colour

of the fabric, the programme temperature and

the level of soil.

• If your appliance does not have the detergent

dispenser with the flap device, add the liquid

detergents with a dosing ball (supplied by the

detergent's manufacturer).

ECOLOGICAL HINTS

• Set a programme without the prewash phase to

wash laundry with normal soil.

• Always start a washing programme with the

maximum load of laundry allowed.

• If necessary, use a stain remover when you set a

programme with a low temperature.

• To use the correct quantity of detergent, check

the water hardness of your domestic system.

Refer to "Water hardness".

WATER HARDNESS

If the water hardness in your area is high or

moderate, we recommend that you use a water

softener for washing machines. In areas where the

water hardness is soft it is not necessary to use a

water softener.

To know the water hardness in your area, contact

your local water authority.

Use the correct quantity of the water softener.

Obey the instructions that you find on the

packaging of the product.

DRYING HINTS

Prepare the drying cycle

• Open the water tap.

• Check if the drain hose is connected properly.

Refer to installation chapter for more

information.

• For the maximum laundry load of the drying

programmes, refer to the drying programmes

table.

ITEMS NOT SUITABLE FOR DRYING

Do not set a drying programme for this

laundry:

• Very delicate items.

• Synthetic curtains.

• Pieces of clothing with metal inserts.

• Nylon stockings.

• Quilts.

• Bed covers.

• Duvets.

• Anoraks.

• Sleeping bags.

• Fabrics with residue of hair sprays, nail solvents

or similar.

• Garments with foam-rubber or materials similar

to foam-rubber.

GARMENT LABELS

When you dry the laundry, obey the indications on

the labels of the manufacturers:

• = The item can be tumble dried

• = The drying cycle is at high temperature

• = The drying cycle is at reduced

temperature

• = The item can not be tumble dried.

DRYING CYCLE DURATION

The drying time can change depending on:

• speed of the last spin

• dryness level

• type of laundry

• weight of the load

ADDITIONAL DRYING

If, at the end of the drying programme, the laundry

is still damp, set a short drying cycle again.

WARNING! To avoid creasing and

shrinkage do not overdry the

laundry.

GENERAL TIPS

Refer to the «Drying programmes» table to find the

average drying times.

Experience will help you to dry the laundry better.

Take note of the duration of the cycles done before.

To avoid the static charge at the end of the drying

cycle:

1. Use fabric conditioner in the washing cycle.

2. Use special fabric conditioner for tumble

dryers.

When the drying programme is completed remove

the laundry promptly.

CARE AND CLEANING

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Clean the appliance with soap and warm water

only. Fully dry all the surfaces.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol,

solvents or chemical products.

DESCALING

If the water hardness in your area is high or

moderate, we recommend that you use a water

descaling product for washing machines.

Regularly examine the drum to prevent limescale

and rust particles.

To remove rust particles use only special products

for washing machines. Do this separately from the

laundry wash.

Always obey the instructions that you

find on the packaging of the product.

MAINTENANCE WASH

With the low temperature programmes it is possible

that some detergent stays in the drum. Perform a

maintenance wash regularly. To do this:

• Remove all laundry from the drum.

• Select the cotton programme with the highest

temperature with a small quantity of detergent.

DOOR SEAL

Regularly examine the

seal and remove all ob-

jects from the inner part.

CLEANING THE DETERGENT DISPENSER

Clean regularly the washing powder and additive

dispenser drawer.

• Press the catch down-

wards and pull it out to

remove the drawer.

• Flush it out under a

tap, to remove any

traces of accumulated

powder.

• Remove the top part of

the additive compart-

ment to aid cleaning.

• Make sure that all

washing powder resi-

due is removed from

the upper and lower

part of the recess.

• Use a small brush to

clean the recess.

• Replace the drawer and run the rinse

programme without any clothes in the drum.

CLEANING THE DRAIN FILTER

The pump should be inspected regularly and

particularly if:

• the appliance does not empty and/or spin;

• the appliance makes an unusual noise during

draining phase due to objects such as safety

pins, coins and so on blocking the pump;

• a problem with water draining is detected (see

chapter 'Troubleshooting' for more details).

CAUTION! Switch the appliance off

and remove the mains plug from the

socket.

Proceed as follows:

• Unplug the appliance.

• If it is necessary, wait until the water has cooled

down.

tates jerkily).

If it doesn’t rotate, please contact your Service

Centre.

• Put the cap back on

the emergency empty-

ing hose and place

the latter back in its

seat.

• Replace the filter into

the pump, insert it

correctly into the spe-

cial guides.

• Screw the pump cover firmly. Turn it clockwise.

CAUTION! When the appliance is in

use and depending on the set

programme there can be hot water in

the pump.

Never remove the filter during a washing cycle,

always wait until the appliance has finished the

cycle, and is empty.

When refitting the filter, ensure it is securely re-

tightened so as to stop leaks and young children

being able to remove it.

CLEANING THE INLET HOSE AND THE VALVE

FILTER

If the appliance doesn't fill, take long to fill with

water, the starting button blinks or the display (if

available) shows the relevant alarm (see chapter

'Troubleshooting' for more details), check if the

water inlet filters are blocked.

To clean the water inlet filters:

• Turn off the water tap.

• Unscrew the hose

from the tap.

• Clean the filter in the

hose with a stiff brush.

• Screw the hose back onto the tap. Make sure

the connection is tight.

• Unscrew the hose

from the machine.

• Keep a rag nearby be-

cause some water

may flow.

• Clean the filter in the

valve with a stiff brush

or with the piece of

cloth.

FROST PRECAUTIONS

If the appliance is installed in an area where the

temperature can be less than 0° C, remove the

remaining water from the inlet hose and the drain

pump.

1. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

2. Close the water tap.

3. Place the end of the emergency emptying hose

and that of the inlet hose in a bowl placed on

the floor and let water flow out of the hoses.

4. Set the Drain programme and let it operate until

the end of the cycle.

5. Turn the programme knob to

to disconnect

the appliance from the power supply.

6. Screw the water inlet hose back on and re-fit

the emergency emptying hose after having put

the cap on again.

WARNING! Make sure that the

temperature is more than 0 °C before

you use the appliance again.

The manufacturer is not responsible

for damages caused by low

temperatures.

EMERGENCY EMPTYING OUT

If the appliance does not drain the water, proceed

as follows:

1. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

2. Close the water tap.

3. If necessary, wait until the water has cooled

down.

4. Place a bowl on the floor and put the end of

the emergency emptying hose into the bowl.

Remove its cap.

The water should drain by gravity into the bowl.

5. When the bowl is full, put the cap back on the

emergency hose.

6. Empty the bowl. Repeat the procedure until

water stops flowing out.

7. Clean the pump if necessary as previously

described.

8. Replace the emergency emptying hose in its

seat after having plugged it.

9. Screw the water inlet hose back on.

TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

INTRODUCTION

The appliance does not start or it stops during

operation.

First try to find a solution to the problem (refer to

the table). If the problem persists, contact the

Authorised Service Centre.

With some problems, the acoustic signals

operate and the display shows an alarm

code:

•

- The appliance does not fill with water

properly.

• - The appliance does not drain the water.

• - The appliance door is open or not

closed correctly. Please check the door!

• - The mains supply is unstable. Wait until

the mains supply is stable.

• - No communication between electronic

elements of the appliance. Switch off and

switch on again.

WARNING! Deactivate the appliance

before you do the checks.

POSSIBLE FAILURES

• Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket.

• Make sure that the appliance door is closed.

• Make sure that there is not a damaged fuse in the fuse box.

• Make sure that the Start/Pause has been pressed.

• Deactivate the Child Lock function if it is on (if available).

• Make sure that the inlet hose has no kinks or bends.

• Make sure that the connection of the water inlet hose is correct.

• Make sure that the drain hose is in the correct position. The hose

may be too low.

The appliance does not

drain the water.

• Make sure that the sink spigot is not clogged.

• Make sure that the drain hose has no kinks or bends.

• Make sure that the drain filter is not clogged. Clean the filter, if nec-

essary. Refer to 'Care and cleaning'.

• Make sure that the connection of the drain hose is correct.

• Set the drain programme if you set a programme without drain

phase.

• Set the drain programme if you set an option which ends with water

in the tub.

The spin phase does not

operate or the washing cy-

cle lasts longer than usual-

ly.

• Set the spin programme.

• Make sure that the drain filter is not clogged. Clean the filter, if nec-

essary. Refer to 'Care and cleaning'.

• Adjust manually the items in the tub and start the spin phase again.

This problem may be caused by balance problems.

There is water on the floor. • Make sure that the couplings of the water hoses are tight and there

is not water leakages.

• Make sure that the drain hose have no damages.

• Make sure you use the correct detergent and the correct quantity of

it.

• Make sure you have replaced the emergency emptying cap into the

filter

• Make sure you have properly screwed the filter in after cleaning.

You cannot open the appli-

ance door.

• Make sure that the washing programme is finished.

• Set the drain or the spin programme if there is water in the drum.

The appliance makes an

unusual noise.

• Make sure the levelling of the appliance is correct. Refer to 'Installa-

tion'.

• Make sure that the packaging and/or the transit bolts are removed.

Refer to 'Installation'.

• Add more laundry in the drum. The load may be too small.

The washing results are

not satisfactory.

• Increase the detergent quantity or use a different detergent.

• Use special products to remove the stubborn stains before you

wash the laundry.

• Make sure that you set the correct temperature.

• Decrease the laundry load.

You cannot set an option. • Make sure that you press only the wanted button(s).

The machine does not dry

or does not dry properly:

• Make sure that you have set a suitable drying programme for your

laundry.

• Make sure that you set the correct the drying time or dryness de-

• Make sure that the water tap is not turned on.

• the drain filter is not clogged.

• Make sure you have not overloaded the appliance.

The laundry is full of differ-

ent coloured fluff:

The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff of a different

colour.

• Clean the clothes with a fluff remover

• The drying phase helps to eliminate some fluff.

In case of an excessive amount of fluff in the drum, refer to section

«FLUFF IN THE FABRICS».

• Thoroughly clean the empty drum, the gasket and the door with a

wet rag.

• Perform a rinse cycle.

• Put a wool or piled fabric rag inside the drum.

• Perform a drying cycle of 10 minutes.

• Remove the old wool cloth.

Now you can wash other garments.

After the check, activate the appliance. The

programme continues from the point of interruption.

If the problem occurs again, contact the Authorised

Service Centre.

If the display shows other alarm codes. Deactivate

and activate the appliance. If the problem

continues, contact the Service.

When contacting the Authorised Service Centre,

make sure that these data are available. You can

find the information on the rating plate: model, PNC

and Serial Number. (Mod., Prod. No., Ser. No.)

INSTALLATION

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

UNPACKING

Remove all transit bolts and packing

before you use the appliance. You are

advised to keep all transit devices so t

hat they can be refitted if the appliance

ever has to be transported again.

• After removing all the

packaging, carefully

lay the appliance on

it’s back to remove

the polystyrene base

from the bottom.

• Remove the power

supply cable and the

draining hose from the

hose holders on the

rear of the appliance.

• Unscrew the three

bolts.

• Slide out the relevant

plastic spacers.

• Remove the polystyr-

ene block fitted on the

door seal. Pull out all

items from the drum.

• Fill the smaller upper

hole and the two large

ones with the plastic

plug caps supplied in

the bag with the User

Manual.

POSITIONNING

• Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make

sure that air circulation around the appliance is

not impeded by carpets, rugs etc.

• Check that the machine does not touch the wall

or other kitchen units.

• Level the appliance by

raising or lowering the

feet.

• The feet may be tight

to adjust as they in-

corporate a self lock-

ing nut, but the appli-

ance MUST be level

and stable.

• If necessary, check the setting with a spirit level.

Any necessary adjustment can be made with a

spanner.

• After having levelled

the appliance, tighten

WATER INLET

• Do not use the hose from your previous

appliance to connect to the water supply.

• The inlet hose must not be lengthened. If it is

too short and you do not wish to move the tap,

you will have to purchase a new, longer hose

specially designed for this type of use.

WATER DRAINAGE

The end of the drain hose can be positioned in

three ways:

• Hooked over the edge of a sink using the

plastic hose guide supplied with the

machine.

In this case, make sure the end cannot come

unhooked when the appliance is emptying. This

could be done by tying it to the tap with a piece

of string or attaching it to the wall.

• In a sink drain pipe branch.

This branch must be above the trap so that the

bend is at least 60 cm above the ground.

• Directly into a drain pipe at a height of not

less than 60 cm and not more than 90 cm.

The end of the drain hose must always be

ventilated, i.e. the inside diameter of the

drainpipe must be larger than the outside

diameter of the drain hose. The drain hose must

not be kinked.

The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4

metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece

is available from your local Service Centre

PREPARATION AND ASSEMBLY OF THE

DOOR

The appliance is originally prearranged for the

assembly of a door opening from right to left (see

picture below)

Hinges

To mount the hinges drill two holes (dia. 35 mm,

depth 12.5-14 mm depending on the depth of door

furniture) on the inner side of the door.

To fix the hinges to the door use the screws for

wood 1 and 2 supplied with the appliance (see

below).

The distance between the holes hobs fixing centres

must be 416 mm. The distance from upper edge of

the door to the centre of the hole depends on the

adjacent furniture's dimensions.

Door mounting

To mount the door fix the hinges to the appliance

using the M5x15 screws.

Do not remove the screw B !!

The hinges can be adjusted to compensate for

possible uneven thickness of the door.

To align the door perfectly, loosen the screw, adjust

the door and tighten the screw A again.

The appliance is prearranged for a magnetic

closure of the door. To enable a correct operation

of this device, screw the counter-magnet A (steel

disk + rubber ring) into the inner side of the door.

Its position must correspond to the magnet B on

the appliance.

Do not remove the screw C !

If the door has to be opened from left to right, invert

the position of the plates E, the magnet D and the

plate C.

Mount the counter-magnet D and the hinges A as

previously described.

Do not remove the screw B!

goma o almohadas con rellenos de gomaespuma no se deben

secar en la lavadora-secadora.

• Los suavizantes o productos similares se deben utilizar tal y

como se especifica en las instrucciones del fabricante del

producto.

• Retire todos los objetos que puedan suponer riesgo de

incendio, como encendedores o cerillas.

• No detenga nunca una lavadora-secadora de tambor antes de

finalizar el ciclo de secado a menos que todas las prendas se

retiren rápidamente y se extiendan para disipar el calor residual.

• La parte final del ciclo de la lavadora-secadora se produce sin

calor (ciclo de enfriamiento) para garantizar que las prendas

queden a una temperatura que no las dañe.

• No utilice pulverizadores de agua a alta presión ni vapor para

limpiar el aparato.

• Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. Utilice solo

detergentes neutros. No utilice productos abrasivos, estropajos

duros, disolventes ni objetos metálicos.

• Antes de proceder con cualquier operación de mantenimiento,

apague el aparato y desconecte el enchufe de la red.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

INSTALACIÓN

• Siga las instrucciones de instalación

suministradas con el aparato.

• No instale ni utilice el aparato si la temperatura

puede ser inferior a 0°C o si está expuesto a la

intemperie.

• Mantenga siempre vertical del aparato cuando

lo desplace.

• Compruebe que el aire circula libremente entre

el aparato y el suelo.

• Retire todo el embalaje y los pasadores de

transporte.

• El área del suelo donde se instala el aparato

debe ser plana, estable, resistente al calor y

limpia.

• Guarde los pasadores de transporte en lugar

seguro. Si necesita desplazar el aparato en el

futuro, debe recolocarlos para bloquear el

tambor y evitar daños internos.

• Tenga cuidado al mover el aparato, porque es

pesado. Utilice siempre guantes de protección y

calzado cerrado.

• No instale ni utilice un aparato dañado.

• No coloque el aparato donde la puerta no se

pueda abrir completamente.

• Ajuste las patas para disponer del espacio

necesario entre el aparato y el suelo.

• Cuando el aparato esté colocado en su

posición permanente, compruebe si está

totalmente nivelado con ayuda de un nivel. De

no estarlo, ajuste las patas hasta que lo esté.

CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA

• El aparato debe conectarse a tierra.

• Utilice siempre una toma con aislamiento de

conexión a tierra correctamente instalada.

manos mojadas.

CONEXIÓN DE AGUA

• No provoque daños en los tubos de agua.

• Antes de conectar a nuevas tuberías o tuberías

que no se hayan usado durante mucho tiempo,

o donde se hayan realizado trabajos o se hayan

conectado dispositivos nuevos (contadores de

agua, por ejemplo), deje correr el agua hasta

que esté limpia.

USO DEL APARATO

PANTALLA

La pantalla muestra:

A. Indicador del Bloqueo para niños

Este dispositivo permite dejar el aparato

desatendido mientras está funcionando

(consulte la sección «Bloqueo de seguridad

para niños»).

El indicador se enciende cuando se ajusta la

opción correspondiente.

B. Esta zona muestra:

• Duración del programa

Después de seleccionar un programa, la

duración se muestra en horas y minutos

(por ejemplo, 2.10).

La duración se calcula automáticamente

sobre la base de una carga máxima

recomendada para cada tipo de tejido.

Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el

tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

• Tiempo de secado seleccionado

El programa de secado seleccionado se

indica en la pantalla en minutos o en horas

y minutos (por ejemplo, 130 min = 2.10).

Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el

tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

• Fin de programa

Cuando el programa termina aparecen tres

ceros intermitentes.

• Inicio diferido

Cuando se pulsa la tecla de inicio diferido,

la pantalla muestra la hora de inicio del

mismo.

Después del inicio del programa, el inicio

diferido seleccionado aparece en pantalla

unos segundos y, a continuación, vuelve a

aparecer la duración del programa

seleccionado.

• Códigos de alarma

Si el aparato presenta una avería, la pantalla

muestra los códigos de alarma. Consulte el

capítulo “Solución de problemas”.

• Selección de opción incorrecta

La pantalla muestra el mensaje

durante unos segundos y el indicador de

Inicio/Pausa parpadea si:

– Se ajusta una opción que no es

OPCIONES

CENTRIFUGAR

Con esta opción puede cambiar la velocidad de

centrifugado predeterminada.

Se enciende el indicador del ajuste de velocidad.

AGUA EN CUBA/CUBA CHEIA

• Ajuste esta opción para evitar arrugas en los

tejidos.

• Se enciende el indicador correspondiente.

• Queda agua en el tambor cuando termina el

programa.

• El tambor gira regularmente para evitar arrugas

en las prendas.

• La puerta permanece bloqueada. Debe drenar

el agua para desbloquear la puerta.

Para vaciar el agua, consulte "Al final

del programa".

OPCIONES/OPÇÃO

Pulse esta tecla para ajustar una de las siguientes

opciones:

Se enciende el indicador correspondiente.

Use esta opción si desea lavar la colada y

ahorrar energía.

La duración se prolonga y la temperatura se

reduce.

programa.

Ajuste esta opción para las prendas con

suciedad ligera o para airear.

ACLARADO/ENXAG.EXTRA

Con esta opción puede añadir algunos aclarados a

un programa de lavado.

Utilice esta opción para personas alérgicas al

detergente y en zonas en las que el agua sea

blanda.

El indicador de fase correspondiente del panel de

control se enciende.

TIEMPO/TEMPO DE SEC.

Con esta opción puede ajustar el tiempo de los

tejidos que se van a secar (algodón o sintéticos).

La pantalla muestra el valor ajustado.

Cada vez que se pulsa la tecla, se aumenta el valor

de tiempo en 5 minutos.

Para los tejidos de algodón puede elegir un tiempo

de secado de 10 a 250 minutos (4.10 horas), para

los sintéticos, de 10 a 130 minutos (2.10 horas).

No se pueden ajustar todos los

valores de tiempo para diferentes tipos

de tejidos.

FÁCIL

Se aplican ciclos de lavado y centrifugado suaves

para evitar que la ropa se arrugue. De este modo,

se facilita el planchado.

Además, el aparato realizará algunos aclarados

adicionales en algunos programas.

En los programas de algodón, la velocidad máxima

de centrifugado se reduce automáticamente.

INICIO DIFERIDO

Con esta opción puede retrasar el inicio de un

programa entre 30 minutos y 20 horas.

La pantalla muestra el indicador correspondiente.

INDICADOR DE BLOQUEO DE LA PUERTA

PUERTA/PORTA

El indicador Puerta/Porta señala cuándo puede

abrirse la puerta:

• El indicador está encendido: no se puede abrir

la puerta.

• El indicador parpadea: la puerta se podrá abrir

en unos minutos.

• El indicador está apagado: se puede abrir la

puerta.

AJUSTES

BLOQUEO DE SEGURIDAD PARA NIÑOS

Con esta opción puede evitar que los niños

jueguen con el panel de control.

• Para activar/desactivar esta opción, pulse

Centrifugar y Opciones/Opção al mismo tiempo

hasta que se ilumine/apague el indicador .

Puede activar esta opción:

• Después de pulsar Inicio/Pausa: se bloquean

las opciones y el selector de programas.

• Antes de pulsar Inicio/Pausa: el aparato no se

puede iniciar.

SEÑALES ACÚSTICAS

Se activan las señales acústicas cuando:

• El programa se termina.

• Se ha producido algún fallo en el aparato.

Para desactivar/activar las señales acústicas,

pulse Aclarado/Enxag.Extra y Tiempo/Tempo de

sec. al mismo tiempo durante 6 segundos.

Si se desactivan las señales acústicas,

siguen funcionando cuando el aparato

presenta una avería.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

1. Ponga 2 l de agua en el compartimento de

detergente para la fase de lavado.

Así se activa el sistema de desagüe.

2. Ponga una pequeña cantidad de detergente en

el compartimento para la fase de lavado.

3. Ajuste e inicie un programa para algodón a la

temperatura más alta sin colada.

De esta forma se elimina toda la posible suciedad

del tambor y de la cuba.

USO DIARIO - LAVADO SÓLO

CARGA DE LA COLADA

Abra la llave de paso. Conecte el enchufe a la toma

de corriente.

1. Tire del tirador para abrir la puerta del aparato.

2. Introduzca las prendas en el tambor, una por

una.

3. Sacuda las prendas antes de colocarlas en el

aparato.

Asegúrese de no colocar demasiada colada en el

tambor. Consulte las cargas máx. indicadas en la

"Tabla de programas".

4. Cierre la puerta del aparato.

• En la pantalla se muestra la duración del

programa.

2. Si fuera necesario, cambie la velocidad de

centrifugado o añada opciones disponibles.

Cuando se activa una opción, se enciende el

indicador de la opción ajustada.

Para restaurar un programa o apagar la máquina,

gire el selector de programas hasta la posición .

Si hay algo incorrecto, la pantalla

muestra el mensaje .

INICIO DE UN PROGRAMA SIN INICIO

DIFERIDO

Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa.

• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa deja de

parpadear y permanece iluminado.

• Se inicia el programa, se bloquea la puerta

y el indicador Puerta/Porta permanece

iluminado.

• El tiempo del programa disminuye a

intervalos de un minuto.

La bomba de desagüe puede

funcionar brevemente al inicio del ciclo

de lavado.

INICIO DE UN PROGRAMA CON LA OPCIÓN

DE INICIO DIFERIDO

1. Pulse la tecla Inicio Diferido repetidamente

hasta que la pantalla muestre el retardo que

desee ajustar. Se enciende el indicador de

inicio diferido.

2. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa:

• La puerta se bloquea y se ilumina el

indicador Puerta/Porta.

• El aparato inicia la cuenta atrás.

• El programa se pone en marcha de forma

automática cuando termina la cuenta atrás.

Puede cancelar o cambiar el ajuste de

la opción Inicio Diferido antes de

pulsar la tecla Inicio/Pausa. Después

de pulsar la tecla Inicio/Pausa solo se

puede cancelar la opción Inicio

Diferido.

Para cancelar la opción Inicio Diferido:

a. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para poner el

aparato en pausa. El indicador de la tecla

Inicio/Pausa parpadea.

b. Pulse la tecla Inicio Diferido hasta que la

pantalla muestre .

Vuelva a pulsar la tecla Inicio/Pausa para

iniciar el programa inmediatamente.

CANCELACIÓN DE UN PROGRAMA EN

CURSO

1. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para cancelar el programa y desactivar el

aparato.

2. Gire de nuevo el selector de programas para

activar el aparato. Ahora puede ajustar un

nuevo programa de lavado.

Antes de empezar un nuevo programa,

el aparato podría drenar el agua. En

este caso, asegúrese de que queda

detergente en el compartimento, de lo

contrario, rellénelo.

INTERRUPCIÓN DE UN PROGRAMA Y

CAMBIO DE LAS OPCIONES

Puede cambiar únicamente algunas opciones antes

de usarlas.

1. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa.

El indicador parpadea.

2. Cambie las opciones.

3. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa de nuevo.

El programa continúa.

APERTURA DE LA PUERTA

Mientras un programa o el Inicio Diferido están en

marcha, la puerta del aparato está bloqueada. Se

enciende el indicador Puerta/Porta.

PRECAUCIÓN! Si la temperatura y el

nivel de agua del tambor son

demasiado elevados y el tambor sigue

girando, no se puede abrir la puerta.

Para abrir la puerta durante los primeros minutos

del ciclo o cuando Inicio Diferido está funcionando:

1. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para poner en pausa

el aparato.

2. Espere hasta que el indicador Puerta/Porta se

apague.

3. Puede abrir la puerta.

4. Cierre la puerta y toque la tecla Inicio/Pausa de

nuevo. El programa (o el Inicio Diferido)

continúan.

AL FINALIZAR EL PROGRAMA

• El aparato se para automáticamente.

• Suena la señal acústica (si está activada).

• Se enciende en la pantalla.

• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa se apaga.

• El indicador de bloqueo de la puerta Puerta/

Porta se apaga.

Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.

• Puede abrir la puerta.

• Retire la colada del aparato. Asegúrese de que

el tambor está totalmente vacío.

• Cierre la llave de paso.

• Deje la puerta y el depósito de detergente

entreabiertos para evitar la formación de moho y

olores desagradables.

El programa de lavado ha finalizado, pero

hay agua en el tambor:

• El tambor gira regularmente para evitar arrugas

en las prendas.

• El indicador Agua en cuba/Cuba cheia

permanece encendido para recordarle que debe

drenar el agua.

• Se ilumina el indicador de bloqueo de la puerta

Puerta/Porta. El indicador de la tecla Inicio/

Pausa parpadea. La puerta permanece

bloqueada.

• Debe vaciar el agua para abrir la puerta.

Drenaje del agua:

1. Para descargar el agua.

• Ajuste un programa Descarga o

Centrifugar.

• Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa. El aparato

desagua y centrifuga.

2. Cuando el programa termina y el indicador de

bloqueo de la puerta Puerta/Porta se apaga,

puede abrir la puerta.

3. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.

ESPERA

Transcurridos unos minutos tras el final del

programa de lavado, si no desactiva el aparato, se

activa el estado de ahorro de energía. El estado de

ahorro de energía reduce el consumo energético

cuando el aparato está en modo de espera:

• Se apagan todos los demás indicadores y la

pantalla.

• El indicador de la tecla de Inicio parpadea

lentamente.

Pulse una de las teclas para desactivar el estado

de ahorro de energía.

Al finalizar el programa

• El aparato se para automáticamente.

• Suena la señal acústica (si está activada).

• Se enciende en la pantalla.

permanece encendido para recordarle que debe

drenar el agua.

• Se ilumina el indicador de bloqueo de la puerta

Puerta/Porta. El indicador de la tecla Inicio/

Pausa parpadea. La puerta permanece

bloqueada.

• Debe vaciar el agua para abrir la puerta.

Drenaje del agua:

1. Para descargar el agua.

• Ajuste un programa Descarga o

Centrifugar.

• Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa. El aparato

desagua y centrifuga.

2. Cuando el programa termina y el indicador de

bloqueo de la puerta Puerta/Porta se apaga,

puede abrir la puerta.

3. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.

USO DIARIO - SOLO SECADO

ADVERTENCIA! Consulte los

AJUSTE DE SECADO

La carga máxima recomendada es de

4 kg para tejidos de algodón y lino y

de 2 kg para sintéticos.

1. Cargue las prendas una a una.

2. Gire el selector de programas hasta el

programa adecuado para secar las prendas

(algodón o sintéticos).

Para obtener unos buenos resultados

de secado, no supere las cargas de

secado máximas recomendadas en el

Manual de instrucciones. No ajuste

una velocidad de centrifugado inferior

a la velocidad automática del

programa ajustado.

TIEMPO DE SECADO

1. Pulse la tecla Tiempo/Tempo de sec.

repetidamente para ajustar el valor del tiempo

(consulte la tabla “Programa para secado

temporizado”).

• Cada vez que se pulsa la tecla, se aumenta

el valor de tiempo en 5 minutos.

• Puesto que el aparato también calcula la

duración de las fases antiarrugas y de

enfriamiento, la duración del programa se

incrementa automáticamente en algunos

minutos.

2. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para iniciar el

programa.

• La pantalla va mostrando periódicamente

un nuevo valor de tiempo.

• Se enciende el indicador Puerta/Porta.

Si ajusta sólo 10 minutos de secado,

el aparato sólo ejecuta una fase de

enfriamiento.

Si la colada no está suficientemente seca, vuelva a

ajustar un tiempo de secado corto.

FINAL DEL PROGRAMA DE SECADO

El aparato se para automáticamente.

• Suenan las señales acústicas, si están

activadas.

• Se enciende en la pantalla.

• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa se apaga.

• En los últimos minutos del ciclo de secado, el

aparato realiza una fase de enfriamiento y

antiarrugas. La puerta sigue bloqueada. La

pantalla muestra intermitente.

Cuando el indicador de bloqueo de la puerta

Puerta/Porta desaparece, puede abrirla.

1. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.

Unos minutos después de finalizar el programa, la

función de ahorro de energía apaga

automáticamente el aparato.

2. Retire la colada del aparato.

Asegúrese de que el tambor está totalmente vacío.

3. Deje la puerta entreabierta para evitar la

formación de moho y olores desagradables.

4. Cierre la llave de paso.

USO DIARIO - LAVADO Y SECADO

PROGRAMA SIN PAUSAS (LAVADO Y

SECADO AUTOMÁTICOS)

Para el programa SIN PAUSAS se recomienda no

superar la carga máxima de 4 kg para los tejidos de

algodón y de 2 kg para los sintéticos.

PRECAUCIÓN! No utilice

dispositivos de dosificación de

detergente para los programas de

lavado y secado.

1. Cargue las prendas una a una.

2. Coloque el detergente y los aditivos en el

compartimento adecuado.

3. Gire el selector de programas hasta el

programa que desee para encender la

máquina.

4. Ajuste las opciones disponibles.

Para obtener unos buenos resultados

de secado, no supere las cargas de

secado máximas recomendadas en el

Manual de instrucciones. No ajuste

una velocidad de centrifugado inferior

a la velocidad automática del

programa ajustado.

LAVADO Y SECADO TEMPORIZADOS

Para obtener un buen secado, el aparato no

permite ajustar una baja velocidad de centrifugado

con las prendas que van a lavarse y secarse.

1. Pulse la tecla Tiempo/Tempo de sec. para

ajustar el tiempo de secado.

Tras unos segundos, la pantalla muestra el valor

final de tiempo; se trata de la duración total de los

ciclos de lavado y secado (lavado + secado +

antiarrugas + enfriamiento).

Si ajusta solo 10 minutos de secado

tras el lavado, el aparato también

calcula la duración de las fases

antiarrugas y de enfriamiento.

2. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para iniciar el

programa.

Se enciende el indicador Puerta/Porta. La puerta

está bloqueada. La pantalla va mostrando

periódicamente un nuevo valor de tiempo.

FIN DEL PROGRAMA

El aparato se para automáticamente. Suenan las

señales acústicas, si están activadas.

Para obtener más información, consulte "Al final del

programa de secado“ en el capítulo anterior.

1. Gire el selector hasta la posición para

apagar la máquina.

2. Retire la colada del aparato. Asegúrese de que

el tambor está totalmente vacío.

3. Deje la puerta entreabierta para evitar la

PELUSA EN LAS PRENDAS

Durante la fase de lavado y/o secado, algunos tipos

de tejidos, como esponjas o sudaderas, pueden

soltar pelusa.

La pelusa podría adherirse a los tejidos en el

siguiente ciclo.

Este inconveniente aumenta con los tejidos

técnicos.

Para evitar las pelusas en la colada, le

recomendamos:

• No lavar tejidos oscuros tras haber lavado y

secado tejidos claros (toallas, sudaderas) y

viceversa.

• Secar al aire este tipo de tejidos la primera vez

que los lave.

• Para limpiar el filtro de desagüe.

• Después de la fase de secado, limpie el tambor

vacío, la junta y la puerta con un paño húmedo.

CONSEJOS

INTRODUCIR COLADA

• Divida la colada en: ropa blanca, ropa de color,

ropa sintética, prendas delicadas y prendas de

lana.

• Siga las instrucciones de lavado que se

encuentran en las etiquetas de las prendas.

• No lave juntas las prendas blancas y de color.

• Algunas prendas de color pueden desteñir en el

primer lavado. Se recomienda lavarlas por

separado la primera vez.

• Abotone las fundas de almohadas y cierre las

cremalleras, los ganchos y los broches. Ate las

correas.

• Vacíe los bolsillos y despliegue las prendas.

• Dé la vuelta a las prendas de varias capas, de

lana y con motivos pintados.

• Retire las manchas difíciles.

• Lave con detergente especial las manchas

difíciles.

• Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Quite los

ganchos o coloque las cortinas en una bolsa

para lavadora o funda de almohada.

• No lave prendas sin dobladillos o desgarradas.

Use una bolsa para lavadora para lavar las

prendas pequeñas y delicadas (p. ej.,

sujetadores con aros, cinturones, medias, etc.).

• Una carga muy pequeña puede provocar

problemas de desequilibrio en la fase de

centrifugado. Si esto ocurre, ajuste

manualmente las prendas en la cuba e inicie de

nuevo la fase de centrifugado.

MANCHAS DIFÍCILES

Para algunas manchas, el agua y el detergente no

son suficientes.

Se recomienda tratar previamente estas manchas

antes de colocar las prendas en el aparato.

Existen quitamanchas especiales. Utilice el

quitamanchas especial adecuado al tipo de

mancha y tejido.

DETERGENTES Y ADITIVOS

• Utilice solo detergentes y aditivos

especialmente fabricados para lavadoras:

– detergente en polvo para todo tipo de

prendas,

– detergente en polvo para prendas

delicadas (40 °C máx.) y lana,

– detergente líquido para todo tipo de tejidos

o especial para lana, preferiblemente para

programas de lavado a baja temperatura

(60 °C máx.).

• No mezcle diferentes tipos de detergentes.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, no ponga más

detergente del necesario.

• Siga siempre las instrucciones que se

encuentran en el envase de estos productos.

• Use los productos adecuados para el tipo y

color del tejido, la temperatura del programa y el

grado de suciedad.

• Si el aparato no tiene el dosificador de

detergente con dispositivo de compuerta, añada

los detergentes líquidos con una bola

dosificadora (suministrada por el fabricante del

detergente).

CONSEJOS ECOLÓGICOS

• Ajuste un programa sin la fase de prelavado

para lavar ropa con suciedad normal.

• Empiece siempre un programa de lavado con la

carga de colada máxima permitida.

• Si fuera necesario, utilice un quitamanchas

cuando ajuste un programa a baja temperatura.

• Para utilizar la cantidad correcta de detergente,

compruebe la dureza del agua de su sistema

doméstico. Consulte "Dureza del agua".

DUREZA DEL AGUA

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta o

moderada, se recomienda usar un descalcificador

de agua para lavadoras. En las zonas en las que la

dureza del agua sea baja, no es necesario utilizar

un descalcificador.

Póngase en comunicación con las autoridades

correspondientes para conocer la dureza del agua

de su zona.

Utilice la cantidad correcta de descalcificador. Siga

las instrucciones que encontrará en el envase del

producto.

CONSEJOS DE SECADO

Prepare el ciclo de secado

• Abra la llave de paso.

• Compruebe si la manguera de desagüe está

bien conectada. Para obtener más información,

consulte el capítulo de instalación.

• Para conocer la carga máxima de los programas

de secado, consulte la tabla de los programas

de secado.

ARTÍCULOS NO ADECUADOS PARA EL

No seleccione un programa de secado para

los siguientes tipos de ropa:

• Prendas muy delicadas.

• Cortinas sintéticas.

• Ropa con adornos metálicos.

• Medias de nailon.

• Colchas.

• Mantas.

• Edredones.

• Anoraks.

• Sacos de dormir.

• Tejidos con restos de lociones o lacas para el

cabello, quitaesmaltes o similares.

• Artículos que contengan gomaespuma o

materiales similares a ella.

ETIQUETAS DE LAS PRENDAS

Para el secado de la ropa, siga las indicaciones de

las etiquetas de los fabricantes:

• = La prenda puede secarse en secadora

• = El ciclo de secado es de alta temperatura

• = El ciclo de secado es de baja temperatura

• = La prenda no puede secarse en secadora

DURACIÓN DEL CICLO DE SECADO

El tiempo de secado puede variar dependiendo de:

• la velocidad del último centrifugado

• el nivel de secado

• el tipo de prenda

• el peso de la carga

SECADO ADICIONAL

Si las prendas siguen húmedas al final del

programa, vuelva a seleccionar un ciclo de secado

corto.

ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar

arrugas y encogido, no seque en

exceso la colada.

CONSEJOS GENERALES

Consulte en la tabla «Programas de secado» los

tiempos de secado medios.

La experiencia le ayudará a secar la ropa mejor.

Anote la duración de los ciclos de secado ya

finalizados.

Para evitar la carga estática al final del ciclo de

secado:

1. Utilice el suavizante en el ciclo de lavado.

2. Utilice un suavizante especial para secadoras

de tambor.

Una vez terminado el programa de secado, saque

rápidamente la colada.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

ADVERTENCIA! Consulte los

LIMPIEZA DEL EXTERIOR

Limpie el aparato solo con agua templada y jabón.

Seque completamente todas las superficies.

PRECAUCIÓN! No utilice alcohol,

disolventes ni otros productos

químicos.

DESCALCIF

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta o

moderada, se recomienda usar un descalcificador

de agua para lavadoras.

Examine periódicamente el tambor para evitar la

formación de cal y partículas de óxido.

Para eliminar partículas de oxidación, utilice

productos especiales para máquinas. Hágalo de

forma separada del lavado de la colada.

Siga siempre las instrucciones que

encontrará en el envase del producto.

LAVADO DE MANTENIMIENTO

Con los programas a baja temperatura, es posible

que quede algo de detergente en el tambor.

Realice un lavado de mantenimiento

periódicamente. Proceda de la siguiente manera:

• Saque todas las prendas del tambor.

• Seleccione el programa de algodón con la

temperatura más alta y utilice una pequeña

cantidad de detergente.

JUNTA DE ESTANQUEIDAD DE LA PUERTA

LIMPIEZA DEL DOSIFICADOR DE

Limpie con regularidad la cubeta del detergente en

LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO DE DESAGÜE

La bomba debe inspeccionarse con regularidad,

especialmente en caso de que:

• el aparato no desagüe o no centrifugue;

• el aparato presente un ruido extraño durante la

fase de descarga porque haya objetos, como

imperdibles, monedas, etc., que obstruyan la

bomba;

• se detecte un problema con el desagüe del

agua (consulte el capítulo “Solución de

problemas” para obtener más información).

PRECAUCIÓN! Apague el aparato y

desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

• Desenchufe el aparato.

• Si es necesario, espere hasta que el agua se

enfríe.

espere siempre a que el aparato haya terminado el

ciclo y esté vacío.

Al volver a colocar el filtro, asegúrese de apretarlo

firmemente para impedir que se produzcan fugas y

que los niños puedan sacarlo.

LIMPIEZA DEL TUBO DE ENTRADA Y EL

FILTRO DE LA VÁLVULA

Si el aparato no se llena de agua, tarda mucho en

llenarse, la tecla de inicio parpadea en color

amarillo o la pantalla (si la hay) muestra la alarma

correspondiente (consulte el capítulo "Solución de

problemas" para obtener más información),

compruebe si los filtros de entrada de agua están

bloqueados.

Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de agua:

• Cierre la toma de

agua.

• Desenrosque la man-

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de red.

2. Cierre la llave de paso.

3. Coloque el extremo de la manguera de

descarga de emergencia y el extremo de la

manguera de entrada de agua en un recipiente

depositado en el suelo y deje que salga el agua

de los tubos.

4. Seleccione el programa Descarga y déjelo

funcionar hasta el final del ciclo.

5. Gire el selector de programas a

desconectar el aparato de la fuente de

alimentación.

6. Vuelva a acoplar la manguera de entrada de

agua y vuelva a colocar la manguera de

descarga de emergencia en su lugar después

de taponarla

ADVERTENCIA! Asegúrese de que la

de usar de nuevo el aparato.

El fabricante no se hace responsable

de los daños derivados de las bajas

temperaturas.

DESCARGA DE EMERGENCIA

Si el aparato no descarga el agua, proceda como

se indica:

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de red.

2. Cierre la llave de paso.

3. Si es necesario, espere hasta que el agua se

enfríe.

4. Coloque un recipiente en el suelo e introduzca

el extremo de la manguera de descarga de

emergencia en él. Quite el tapón de la

manguera.

El agua debería verterse al recipiente por acción de

la gravedad.

5. Cuando el recipiente se llene, vuelva a tapar la

manguera de emergencia.

6. Vacíe el recipiente. Repita el procedimiento

hasta que deje de salir agua.

7. Si es necesario, limpie el filtro como se ha

descrito anteriormente.

8. Vuelva a colocar la manguera de descarga de

emergencia en su lugar una vez que la haya

taponado.

9. Vuelva a atornillar la manguera de entrada de

agua.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

ADVERTENCIA! Consulte los

capítulos sobre seguridad.

INTRODUCCIÓN

El aparato no se pone en marcha ni se detiene

durante el funcionamiento.

Primero, intente buscar una solución al problema

(consulte la tabla). Si el problema continúa,

póngase en contacto con el Centro de servicio

técnico.

Con algunos problemas, las señales

acústicas funcionan y la pantalla muestra un

código de alarma:

•

- El aparato no carga agua correctamente.

• - El aparato no desagua.

• - La puerta del aparato está abierta o no

está bien cerrada. Revise la puerta.

• - La corriente eléctrica es inestable.

Espere hasta que la corriente eléctrica se

estabilice.

• - No hay comunicación entre los

elementos electrónicos del aparato. Apague y

vuelva a encender.

ADVERTENCIA! Apague el aparato

antes de realizar las comprobaciones.

• Asegúrese de que el filtro de la manguera de entrada y el filtro de

la válvula no estén obstruidos. Consulte el apartado “Mantenimien-

to y limpieza”.

• Asegúrese de que la manguera de entrada no esté doblada ni re-

torcida.

• Compruebe que la manguera de entrada de agua esté conectada

correctamente.

• Asegúrese de que el tubo de desagüe se encuentre en la posición

correcta. Es posible que la manguera esté demasiado baja.

El aparato no desagua. • Compruebe que el desagüe no esté obstruido.

• Asegúrese de que el tubo de desagüe no esté doblado ni retorci-

do.

• Compruebe que el filtro de desagüe no esté obstruido. Limpie el fil-

tro si fuera necesario. Consulte el apartado “Mantenimiento y lim-

pieza”.

• Compruebe que la manguera de desagüe esté conectada correc-

tamente.

• Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona un programa sin fase

de descarga.

• Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona una opción que ter-

mine con agua en la cuba.

La fase de centrifugado no

funciona o el ciclo de lava-

do dura más de lo normal.

• Seleccione el programa de centrifugado.

• Compruebe que el filtro de desagüe no esté obstruido. Limpie el fil-

tro si fuera necesario. Consulte el apartado “Mantenimiento y lim-

pieza”.

• Ajuste manualmente las prendas en la cuba e inicie de nuevo la

fase de centrifugado. Este problema puede deberse a problemas

de equilibrio.

para su colada.

• Asegúrese de haber seleccionado la duración o el grado de seca-

do adecuados.

• Compruebe que el grifo no esté abierto.

• el filtro de descarga no está obstruido.

• Asegúrese de no haber sobrecargado el aparato.

La colada está llena de pe-

lusas de diferente color:

Las prendas que lavó en el ciclo anterior dejaron pelusas de un color

diferente.

• Limpie las prendas con un quitapelusas

• La fase de secado ayuda a eliminar algo de pelusa.

En caso de que haya una cantidad excesiva de pelusas en el tambor,

consulte el apartado “PELUSA EN LAS PRENDAS”.

• Limpie a fondo el tambor vacío, la junta y la puerta con un paño hú-

medo.

• Realice un ciclo de aclarado.

• Coloque un paño de lana o terciopelo en el interior del tambor.

• Realice un ciclo de secado de 10 minutos.

• Saque el paño de lana.

Ahora ya puede lavar otras prendas.

Una vez finalizada la revisión, encienda el aparato.

El programa continuará a partir del punto en que se

haya interrumpido.

Si el problema se vuelve a producir, póngase en

contacto con el Centro de servicio técnico.

Si la pantalla muestra otros códigos de alarma.

Apague y encienda el aparato. Si el problema

persiste, póngase en contacto con el servicio

técnico.

ASISTENCIA

la placa de características: modelo, PNC y Número

INSTALACIÓN

ADVERTENCIA! Consulte los

capítulos sobre seguridad.

DESEMBALAJE

Retire todos los pasadores del

embalaje y transporte antes de usar el

aparato. Se aconseja guardar todo

este material para usarlo de nuevo en

caso de que sea necesario transportar

el aparato.

instrucciones.

COLOCACIÓN

• Instale la máquina en el suelo sobre una

superficie plana y rígida. Asegúrese de que el

aire circula correctamente alrededor del aparato

aunque haya moqueta, alfombras, etc.

• Cerciórese de que la máquina no está en

contacto con la pared u otros armarios de

cocina

• Nivele el aparato sub-

iendo o bajando las

patas.

• Puede que resulte di-

fícil ajustar las patas,

ya que incorporan una

tuerca de seguridad,

pero DEBEN estar ni-

veladas y estables.

• Si es necesario, compruebe el ajuste con un ni-

vel de burbuja. Los ajustes necesarios pueden

realizarse con una llave.

• Apriete las tuercas de

seguridad cuando

haya terminado de ni-

velar el aparato.

• Un nivelado correcto

evita las vibraciones,

el ruido y el desplaza-

miento del aparato

durante el funciona-

miento.

No coloque cartón, madera ni otros

materiales similares bajo el aparato

para compensar los desniveles del

suelo.

ENTRADA DE AGUA

• Junto con el aparato, se suministra el tubo de

entrada de agua que hallará en el interior del

tambor.

• No utilice la manguera de su aparato anterior

para conectar el suministro de agua.

Este aparato debe conectarse a un

suministro de agua fría.

• Afloje la tuerca anular para colocar el tubo cor-

rectamente. Después de colocar la manguera

de entrada, vuelva a apretar la contratuerca para

evitar fugas de agua.

• Conecte el tubo a una

toma de agua me-

diante una rosca de

3/4 pulgadas. Debe

utilizar siempre la

manguera suministra-

da con el aparato.

• No utilice prolongaciones para la manguera de

entrada de agua. Si es demasiado corta y no

desea mover la toma de agua, tendrá que ad-

quirir una manguera más larga diseñada espe-

cialmente para estos casos.

DESAGÜE

El extremo del tubo de descarga se puede instalar

de tres maneras distintas:

• Sujeto por encima del borde de un

fregadero mediante el codo de plástico

suministrado con la lavadora.

En tal caso, asegúrese de que el extremo del

tubo no se desenganche cuando el aparato esté

desaguando. Para evitarlo, puede fijarlo a la

toma de agua con una brida o sujetarlo a la

pared.

• En un empalme de derivación para

descarga en el fregadero.

El empalme debe estar encima de la toma para

que haya 60 cm como mínimo entre el codo y el

suelo.

• Directamente en un tubo de desagüe a

una altura mínima de 60 cm y máxima de 90

cm.

El extremo del tubo de descarga siempre debe

estar ventilado; es decir, el diámetro interno del

tubo de descarga debe ser mayor que el

diámetro externo. El tubo de descarga no debe

estar retorcido.

La manguera de descarga puede extenderse hasta

un máximo de 4 metros. En el centro de servicio

técnico local hay disponibles mangueras de

descarga y piezas de unión adicionales.

PREPARACIÓN Y MONTAJE DE LA PUERTA

El aparato viene preparado para que la puerta

pueda abrirse de derecha a izquierda (véase la

imagen siguiente).

La altura X depende de la distancia vertical de la

base del mueble adyacente.

Bisagras

Para poner las bisagras taladre dos orificios (diá.

35 mm, fondo 12,5 - 14 mm dependiendo del

fondo del mueble) por el lado interno de la puerta.

Para atornillar las bisagras a la puerta use los

tornillos para madera 1 y 2 suministrados con el

aparato (véase a continuación).

La distancia entre centros de ambos orificios debe

ser de 416 mm. La distancia entre el borde

superior de la puerta y el centro del orificio

depende de las medidas del mueble adyacente.

Montaje de la puerta

Para montar la puerta, atornille las bisagras al

aparato con los tornillos M5x15.

No quite el tornillo B.

Las bisagras se pueden ajustar para compensar

cualquier posible variación de grosor de la puerta.

Para alinear bien la puerta es preciso aflojar el

tornillo, ajustar la puerta y apretar de nuevo el

tornillo A.

El aparato está preparado para llevar un cierre

magnético instalado en la puerta. Para que este

dispositivo funcione correctamente hay que

atornillar el contraimán A (disco de acero con anillo

de goma) por el lado interno de la puerta.

Su posición debe coincidir con el imán B del

aparato.

No quite el tornillo C.

Si la puerta se va a abrir de izquierda a derecha,

invierta la posición de las placas E, el imán D y la

placa C.

Monte el contraimán D y las bisagras A según se

ha descrito previamente.

No quite el tornillo B.
