The installation and any interventions on the appliance (extraordinary maintenance, etc.) must be carried out by qualified personnel only, as specified in this booklet. The connection systems and installation rooms must be suitable and satisfy the safety standards in force in the country of use (protective isolating switch, earthing system, equipotential system, etc.). The manufacturer will not be held liable if the above requirements are not satisfied. During installation, maintenance or repair work, always switch off the main electrical switch and remove the connection plug from the socket. 5 REVISIÓN Y DESPLAZAMIENTO CHECKS AND HANDLING Tras desembalar el equipo quitando todos los materiales de embalaje y las películas de protección de las superficies, compruebe si se perciben desperfectos evidentes: de ser así, no comience la instalación y acuda a su vendedor antes de 8 días, comunicando los datos indicados en la placa de características del equipo y los problemas encontrados (fig. 1). ¡Atención! No deje sin vigilancia el material utilizado para el embalaje (bolsas, poliestireno, etc.), ya que puede suponer un peligro para niños y animales (peligro de asfixia). Transporte el equipo hasta el lugar de instalación levantándolo solo por los lados, sin agarrar la parte frontal del cajón (fig. 1) y adoptando todas las precauciones necesarias para no ocasionar daños al equipo o a personas, animales y cosas. After having unpacked the appliance and removed all the packing materials and protective films from the sur surfaces, check for any anomalies: if you find an anomaly, do not proceed with the installation but contact your retailer within 8 days, reporting the data provided on the appliance’s data plate and describing the problems you found (fig. 1). Caution! Do not leave the packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc.) unattended, as they are a potential hazard for children and animals (danger of suffocation). Move the appliance to the installation location by lifting it from the sides and not from the frontal of extractable drawer (fig. 1) and adopting all the precautions necessary to prevent damage to the appliance, people, animals and property. 1 ELIMINACIÓN DE LOS EMBALAJES DISPOSAL OF THE PACKAGING ¡Atención! Package composition: - cardboard - polyethylene/ polypropylene: outer packaging film, instructions bag - expanded polystyrene: impact protections. 6 CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA CONNECTION TO THE POWER MAINS Antes de la conexión, asegúrese de que la tensión y la frecuencia indicadas en la placa de características coincidan con las de la instalación de alimentación. El calientaplatos incluye de serie un cable de alimentación (H05V2V2-F) de 90 cm de largo, al que se deberá aplicar un enchufe capaz de soportar 10 A (fig. 2a). Como alternativa se puede conectar el cable directamente a la red de distribución (fig. 2b): esta operación debe ser realizada por una persona autorizada conforme a la normativa vigente en el país de instalación. La instalación debe incluir un dispositivo que garantice la desconexión de la red con una separación entre contactos que permita la desconexión completa en las condiciones de la categoría III de sobretensión. El interruptor debe estar dimensionado en función de la carga indicada en la placa de características y debe ser conforme a las normas vigentes. Si el cable de alimentación presenta daños, debe ser sustituido por el Fabricante o por su servicio técnico, o en cualquier caso por una persona cualificada similar, para evitar cualquier riesgo. Tanto la toma de corriente como el interruptor omnipolar deben ser conformes a las normas y estar instalados en un lugar accesible incluso con el equipo empotrado. Si se monta el equipo en combinación con una placa de cocción, la conexión de los dos equipos debe ser independiente, por motivos de seguridad eléctrica. Before making the connection, make certain that the voltage and frequency indicated on the data plate match those of the power supply system. The warming drawer is supplied with a 90 cm-long power cord (H05V2V2-F) (fig. 2a). Connect the cable directly to the electricity supply (fig.2b), which must be made by an authorized person in accordance with current regulations in the country where the appliance is installed. The installation must include a means for disconnection from the supply hav having an air gap contact separation in all active conductors that allows complete disconnection in category III overvoltage condictions. The isolating switch should be sized according to the load on the data label and should comply with current regulations. If the supply cord is damaged , it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarty qualified person in order to avoid hazard. The isolating switch must be located in a position which is accessible even after the appliance is installed. If the appliance is installed together with a hob, the connection of the two appliances must be independ independent for electrical safety reasons. El fabricante solo garantiza el correcto funcionamiento del calientaplatos si se utiliza junto con los productos Barazza y no se responsabiliza de los posibles daños ocasionados por un uso indebido. Antes de comenzar el montaje del calientaplatos y del aparato con el que se combina, asegúrese de que la balda del mueble en el que se empotrarán pueda soportar el peso de los dos aparatos. El aparato combinado se coloca sin superficies intermedias, directamente sobre el cajón calientaplatos empotrado (fig. 3). Make certain that the cabinet in which you will be installing the appliance is in perfect condition and completely stable (Standard DIN 68930). The warming drawer can only be attached and installed with Barazza products. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by improper use. Before installing the warming drawer and the combined appliance, make sure that the shelf where the two appliances will be installed, supports the weight of both of them. Any other use is considered improper and thus potentially hazardous for people, animals and property. Furthermore, it may permanently damage the appliance: in this case, the Manufacturer will not be held liable and the Warranty will be void. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply using the omnipolar switch before carrying out any cleaning operations or when the appliance will not be used for an extended period. To avoid dangerous overheating of the appliance due to incorrect use or a defect in the components, the appliance is provided with a safety thermostat that disconnects the power supply in case of a malfunction. The area near the warming drawer may become very hot, so take precautions when positioning power outlets, other household appliances, electrical cables, hoses and any heat-sensitive or flammable material in this area. Durante este tiempo el calientaplatos podría emitir humo y olores desagradables: esto se debe a la combustión de las grasas utilizadas para su fabricación. Ventile el local. Deje que se enfríe completamente la cámara con la puerta cerrada y limpie en profundidad el frontal, los accesorios y el interior de la cámara, de la manera indicada en el capítulo correspondiente. The warming drawer must be empty when turned on for the first time, and it should be set at maximum temperature for about 120 minutes. During this time the warming drawer may emit smoke or unpleasant odours (due to the burning of the grease used in the factory processing of the oven), so the room should be aired well during its operation. Allow the oven cavity to cool completely with the door closed and thoroughly clean the front panel, accessories and interior of the cavity following the procedures indicated in the respective chapter. 12 USO DEL EQUIPO USING THE APPLIANCE DESCRIPCIÓN DE FUNCIONAMIENTO USE DESCRIPTION El aparato incluye un sistema de ventilación de aire caliente. Un ventilador distribuye el calor de la resistencia calefactora de manera ideal por el interior del cajón. El termostato permite definir y controlar la temperatura deseada para las vajillas introducidas. La circulación del aire calienta las vajillas de manera uniforme y rápida. Una rejilla de protección impide que se puedan tocar accidentalmente las resistencias calefactoras y el ventilador. The appliance is equipped with a hot air ventilating system. A fan distributes in an optimal way towards the internal space of the warming drawer. The thermostat allows the user to control and set the appliance at the desired temperature. The circulation of the air heats the drawer in a rapid and uniform way. With the protective measures in place it is not possible to accidentally touch the heating element or the fan. APERTURA Y CIERRE DEL CAJÓN OPENING AND CLOSING THE DRAWER Abra el cajón presionando sobre el frente, agarre el cajón y extráigalo hasta abrirlo completamente (fig. 6). Para cerrar el cajón, acompáñelo en el sentido de cierre y luego presione sobre el frente hasta que se enganche. To open the drawer press the front of the drawer, grasp the handle, pull the drawer towards you until it is opened completely (fig. 6) To close the drawer, gently push the drawer back, pushing the front until it has completely gone back. 6 P H S U L U P 1 2 USO USE Abra el cajón, gire la rueda “1” seleccionando la temperatura deseada y pulse el botón rojo “2”: se encenderá la luz piloto roja del botón, que permanecerá encendida durante todo el funcionamiento (fig. 7). Para apagar el aparato ponga en la posición “0 - off” la rueda “1” y pulse el botón “2”; la luz roja se apagará. Open the drawer. Turn the handle “1” in order to set the desired temperature and then press the red button “2”. A red light will turn on and will remain on throughout use (fig. 7). To turn off the appliance, turn the handle “1” to the “ - off”0 position and then press the button “2”. The red light will turn off. 7 1 2 13 TIEMPOS DE CALENTAMIENTO HEATING TIME Hay varios factores que influyen en los tiempos de calentamiento: • material y grosor de las vajillas; • cantidad de vajillas introducidas; • disposición de las vajillas introducidas; • temperatura seleccionada. Así pues, no es posible dar indicaciones en términos absolutos. Seleccionando una temperatura de 60°C y para alcanzar un calentamiento homogéneo, se pueden tomar como indicativos los siguientes valores: Different factors influence the time in which it takes to heat up: • Thickness and material of the drawer; • Number of drawers loaded; • The arrangement of the loaded drawers; • The desired temperate set. So, there is no general rule. You can also use your own experience in determining the optimal temperature setting for your needs. 14 MANTENIMIENTO MAINTENANCE ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD SAFETY WARNINGS Cierre siempre el interruptor eléctrico principal durante las operaciones de mantenimiento ordinario o en caso de larga inactividad. Always switch off the main electrical switch during routine maintenance or if the appliance will not be used for an extended period. Realice la limpieza con el calientaplatos frío después de cada uso: esto facilita la operación y evita que puedan arder los restos de comida. Clean the warming drawer after each use once it has cooled: this facilitates the operation and prevents the burning of food residue. Limpie TODAS las partes del equipo aplicando únicamente los procedimientos y productos indicados en este manual (en concreto, evite a toda costa el uso de esponjas abrasivas, rasquetas, detergentes ácidos o agresivos, aparatos de vapor o a presión y chorros de agua directos). Si se realiza la limpieza de manera distinta respecto a la expresamente descrita, se podría poner en peligro la seguridad de personas, animales y cosas y ocasionar daños al equipo no cubiertos por la Garantía. Una variación en el color interno del hueco del calientaplatos no afecta a sus prestaciones y no constituye un defecto por el que ejercer el derecho de Garantía. Clean ALL parts of the appliance using only the procedures and products indicated in this manual (in particular, do NOT use abrasive sponges, scrapers, acidic or aggressive detergents, steam or pressure cleaning devices, direct jets of water). Any cleaning performed in a manner different from that specified may endanger the safety of people, animals and property as well as cause damage to the appliance which is not covered by the Warranty. A variation in the colouring of the warming drawer cavity interior does not compromise the oven’s performance and is not considered a defect covered by the Warranty. MANTENIMIENTO ORDINARIO ROUTINE MAINTENANCE LIMPIEZA CLEANING • Superficies de acero inoxidable: utilice un paño suave ligeramente empapado en detergente específico neutro: para el modo de empleo de los productos de limpieza, siga las indicaciones de su fabricante. No utilice materiales ásperos abrasivos o rasquetas metálicas afiladas, ya que pueden rayar las superficies. • Stainless steel surfaces: use a soft cloth dampened in neutral detergent: follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the use of the cleaning products. Do not use abrasive materials or sharp metal scrapers that may scratch the surfaces.
