Getting Started

• Please do not press or bend the charging cable. This can cause failure

or malfunction.

• Do not leave the product in/around heating appliances, car interiors,

or high temperature environments. It may cause overheating and/or

explosion.

• If product emits smoke or a strange smell, stop use immediately. It may

•Please leave the product out of the reach of children or babies.

• Do not put the product in the microwave or oven. Rapidly heating the

• Please immediately discontinue use if there is a strange odor, heating,

discoloration, and other strange phenomenon while using the product.

You can check the remaining battery capacity when you press the

LED button (4). The current battery capacity will be represented by

the LED indicator light (see the table below).

CAUTION

at least once a month because it consumes a small amount of current even

when not in use.

Operation

Charging the PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack

CAUTION

Charge the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack

completelybeforeusingitforthersttime.BeforeconnectingtheUSBcable,

check that the voltage/current of the adapter is compatible with your device.

If you use a charging device with inadequate voltage/current, it may cause

the charging device or the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power

Pack to malfunction.

1. Using the USB cable, connect the PC’s USB port and the PowerTank

10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack’s Micro USB input

port(3).

- The LED indicator light (2) will blink during the charging process.

2.TheLEDindicatorlight(2)willturnonwhenchargingisnished.You

can now remove the USB cable.

NOTE

• LED lights display charging conditions and capacity indications. For more

details, refer to LED conditions on page 4.

• When you press the LED button (4) while charging the battery for the

PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack, charging will be

interrupted for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, charging will automatically

resume.

Sequential Charging*

1. Connect the charger adapter to the USB cable, and plug it into a wall

outlet. Connect the cable to the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger&PowerPack’sMicroUSBinputport(3).

2. Using the USB cable, connect the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack’s USB output port (1, Port A or B) to your

mobile device’s USB port.

Depending on the mobile device, the charging process may not stop

eventhoughthebatteryisfully(100%)charged(chargingtimes

may vary depending on the mobile device’s manufacturer).

3.Whenyourmobiledeviceisnishedcharging,removetheUSBcable

connecting it to the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack.

* During sequential charging, the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack will be simultaneously charged while charging

the mobile device(s).

NOTE

• During sequential charging, the charging current will be limited; therefore,

charging may take longer than usual.

• It is recommended that you use the charger adapter plugged into a wall

outlet during sequential charging. Sequential charging via USB port to PC

may not charge.

• If the charger adapter is disconnected during sequential charging of the

PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack and a mobile

device, the mobile device will be charged via the PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack.

• If the mobile device being charged is disconnected during sequential

charging, the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack will

continue to be charged.

Charging Mobile Devices

CAUTION

To ensure voltage/current compatibility, before charging your mobile

device, check the manufacturer or manual for the voltage/current charger

specicationsofyourmobiledevice.

1. Using the USB cable, connect the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack’s USB output port (1) to your mobile device’s

USB port.

2. Press the LED button (4).

- The mobile device’s current battery capacity will be represented by

theashingLEDlight(2).

3.Whenthemobiledeviceisnishedcharging,removetheUSBcable.

NOTE

• You can use the supplied USB cable to charge your mobile device.

• After pressing the LED button (4), Charging mode for a mobile device will

be available for 20 seconds. If a mobile device is not connected to the

PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack within 20 seconds

of pressing the LED button, the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack output will power off.

• Available accessories may vary by region, country, or service provider.

Please check the following contents if the PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack does not work. If the problem is not

resolved, please stop use and contact the manufacturer.

Problem Cause & Correction

The PowerTank 10,000

mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack cannot charge

the mobile device.

• Please check compatibility of the

voltage/currentspecicationbetween

the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack and the mobile

device.

• Please check that the cable is properly

connected.

• Start charging the mobile device by

pressing the LED button (4).

The LED indicator doesn’t

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause & Correction

The LED is not blinking

while the PowerTank

10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack

is being charged using

a laptop or desktop

computer.

• Please check that the PC is in Power

Off or Sleep mode.

• The USB port may lack power. Please

disconnect all other devices using

USB ports.

There is no LED lighting

when the LED button (4) is

pressed.

The PowerTank 10,000

mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack is not charging

the mobile device.

• The PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack is almost

empty. Please charge it.

• This may happen when short circuit

protection is active. For normal

operation, disconnect the PowerTank

10,000 mAh Portable Charger &

PowerPackwiththecablerstand

then charge the PowerTank 10,000

mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack

again.

Problem Cause & Correction

The charging time is

unusually long.

• The charging time may vary due to

environmental temperature. Please

chargein5°Cto35°C(41°Fto95°F).

• The charging time may vary when

the PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack is connected to

PCUSBports(USBspecication:5V

500 mA).

• The USB port may lack power. Please

disconnect all other devices using USB

ports.

• This may occur when using a USB hub

to charge the PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack; please

directly connect it to a PC USB port to

charge.

The PowerTank 10,000

mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack is overheating.

• The PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack may emit heat

while charging or during use; if there

is too much heat or smoke, please

stop use.

Problem Cause & Correction

All LED indicator lights

keep blinking fast.

• This may occur due to undesirable

environmental temperatures or if the

outlet/port it is plugged into short

circuits.

- The PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack

does not operate optimally in

environments with temperatures that

are too low (below 5 °C [41 °F]) or

toohigh(above35°C[95°F]).

- The PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack

will not operate optimally to inputs

or outputs with an overcurrent or

overvoltage.

• First disconnect the charger from the

PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable

Charger & Power Pack and then

reconnect them.

If that doesn’t work:

• Remove the PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack from

the undesirable environment or outlet/

port. The unit should now perform

correctly. If it still will not operate

properly, press the LED button (4)

once.

• If the LED indicator lights keep blinking

fast under the normal circumstance,

contact the service center.

the charging time could be different.

Conditions

• The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser

by the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented

with the product to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to

refuse warranty service if this information has been removed or changed after the

original purchase of the product from the dealer.

• If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced

product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period

orforninety(90)daysfromthedateofrepair,whicheverislonger.Repairor

replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units.

Replaced parts or components will become the property of LG Electronics.

• This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and

tear, or due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the normal

and customary manner, in accordance with instructions for use and maintenance

of the product. Nor does this warranty cover any failure of the product due to

accident,modicationoradjustment,actsofGod,ordamageresultingfromliquid.

• This warranty does not cover product failures due to improper repair, installations,

modications,orserviceperformedbyanon-LGElectronicsauthorizedperson.

Tampering with any of the seals on the product will void the warranty.

Limited Warranty

1. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS:

LG offers you a limited warranty that the enclosed unit and its enclosed

accessories will be free from defects in material and workmanship, according to

the following terms and conditions:

(1) The limited warranty for the product extends for TWELVE (12) MONTHS

beginning on the date of purchase of the product with valid proof of purchase,

or absent valid proof of purchase, FIFTEEN (15) MONTHS from date of

manufacture as determined by the unit’s manufacture date code.

(2) The limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and

is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end user.

(3) This warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the product during

the warranty period as long as it is in the U.S, including Alaska, Hawaii, U.S.

Territories and Canada.

(4) The external housing and cosmetic parts shall be free of defects at the time

of shipment and, therefore, shall not be covered under these limited warranty

terms.

(5) Upon request from LG, the consumer must provide information to reasonably

prove the date of purchase.

(6) The customer shall bear the cost of shipping the product to the Customer

Service Department of LG. LG shall bear the cost of shipping the product back

to the consumer after the completion of service under this limited warranty.

2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVERS:

(1) Defects or damages resulting from use of the product in other than its normal

and customary manner.

(2) Defects or damages from abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper

storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, unauthorized modi cations,

unauthorized connections, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect, abuse,

accident, alteration, improper installation, or other acts which are not the

fault of LG, including damage caused by shipping, blown fuses, spills of food

or liquid.

(3) Breakage or damage to antennas unless caused directly by defects in material

or workmanship.

(4) Alleged product defects or malfunction of which the Customer Service

Department at LG was not noti ed by consumer during the applicable limited

warranty period.

(5) Products which have had the serial number removed or made illegible.

(6) This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied either

interrumpida durante 20 segundos. Después de 20 segundos, la carga

continuará automáticamente.

Carga secuencial*

1. Conecte el adaptador del cargador al cable USB y enchúfelo a un

tomacorriente.ConecteelcablealpuertodeentradaMicroUSB(3)

del PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack.

2. Con el cable USB, conecte el puerto de salida USB (1, puerto A o B)

del PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack al puerto

USB de su dispositivo móvil.

Según el dispositivo móvil, el proceso de carga podría no

detenerse, aun cuando la batería esté completamente cargada

(100%)(eltiempodecargapuedevariarsegúnelfabricantedel

3.Cuandosudispositivomóvilterminedecargar,quiteelcableUSB

que lo conecta al PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger &

Power Pack.

• Durante la carga secuencial, la corriente de carga estará limitada; por lo

móvil, el dispositivo móvil se cargará a través del PowerTank 10,000 mAh

seguirá cargándose.

Carga de dispositivos móviles

1. Con el cable USB, conecte el puerto de salida USB (1) del PowerTank

10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack al puerto USB de su

dispositivo móvil.

2. Presione el botón LED (4).

- El parpadeo de la luz LED (2) indica la capacidad actual de la

batería del dispositivo móvil.

3.Cuandosecompletelacargadeldispositivomóvil,desconecteel

cable USB.

NOTA

• Puede utilizar el cable USB suministrado para cargar el dispositivo móvil.

• Después de presionar el botón LED (4), el modo de carga del dispositivo

móvil estará disponible durante 20 segundos. Si no se conecta un dispositivo

móvil al PowerTank 10,000 mAh Portable Charger & Power Pack dentro de

20 segundos después de presionar el botón LED, el PowerTank 10,000 mAh

Portable Charger & Power Pack se apagará.
