Timer Pad (onsome models)

When the heater is on, it can be set to

automaticallg turn off in 1/2 (0.5)to 9 1/2 (9,5)

hours.

1. Pressthe Timerpad. The displag will blink.

2. Pressthe + or - pad to set the desired time

for the unit to stop. (Each time gou touch

the + or- pad, the set time will advance

bg 1/2 hour between 0 and 9_2 hours.)

After settings have been made, the displag

will change back to show the room

temperature.

To cancel the timer, press the Timer pad

and press the Decrease pad until 0.0

appears in the displag.

NOTE: Ifthe Timer was set before a power

outage, it will need to be reset after power

is restored.

O Displag

Shows the room temperature. Shows the set

temperature while setting the temperature in

LOor HI heat modes. Shows whether set in

LOheat, HI heat or fan mode. Shows time

remaining on timer`

air circulation.

Forfixedside-to-side airdirection, turn on until

the desiredair direction isobtained,then turn

it off.

O Mode Pad

Pressto set to LOheat, HIheat, fan mode or

to return to the standbg mode.

Heat Mode

When in the HI or LO heat mode, use the

Increase/Decrease pads to set the desired

temperature between 40°F and 90°F in I°F

increments.

A thermostat isusedto maintain the room

temperature. Theheater will cgcle on and off to

keepthe room at the set levelof comfort. Setthe

thermostat at a higher temperature and the indoor

air will becomewarmer` Setthe thermostat at a

lower temperature and the indoorair will become

lesswarm.

Fan Mode

Usethe fan mode to provide air circulation

without heating.

Sincethe fan setting does not provide heating,

a temperature setting will not be displaged.

automatically shut off. Relocatethe heater or remove

Tip-Over Switch (onsomemodels)

However,ifthe heater isever accidentally knocked

or tipped over,it hasa tip-over switch that will

automatically shut off the heater.

CAUTION: _fthe heater isknocked

or tipped over,usethe handle to sit it upright, wait

approximately 5 minutes and it will automatically

Cleanthe rearvent filter when visiblgdirtg or dustg.

Usea vacuum to remove dust and dirt bg passing it

overthe grille surface.

NOTE:The rear vent filter is not removable and should

onlg be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

Remote Control (onsomemodds)

To replace the batterg:

1. Slidethe battery cover open on the back

of the remotecontrol.

Z Removethe old batteries.

3. Insert new batteries, placing them sotheir

polarities (+and -) match the markings in the

battery compartment.

4. Slidethe cover back into position.

NOTE:Replacewith the some sizebatteries as

removed. Removethe batteries from the remote

control if the system isnot going to be usedfor

o long time.
