2.Attach Chair Back

• Slide the chair back B into the open

ends of the seat frame A as shown in

Figure 3.

• Secure with 4 small bolts D in

locations 7, 8, 9 and 10 using the

allen wrench F . See Figure 3.

TIPS: Do not fully tighten any bolt until

you have lined up and partially tightened

all 4 bolts.

Make sure the chair back is fully upright

when you are tightening the bolts. It

may help to support the chair back

with either your hand or your body.

• Make sure all bolts are fully tightened.

This includes the bolts that were already

inserted in the frame.

• Attach the chair cushion C as shown

in Figure 4. For proper fit, line up the

recess in the cushion with the massage

mechanism in the chair back.

Also, make sure the adhesive strips

are lined up.

Components

Carefully remove all contents from packaging and inspect the product to make sure

all components of the chair and ottoman have been received.

These should include:

• Chair seat frame and legs A

• Chair back frame with incorporated

massage mechanism B

• Chair cushion C

• Small bolts for chair and ottoman (8) D

• Large bolts for chair seat (2) E

• Allen wrench F

• AC Adapter G

• Ottoman legs H

• Ottoman top frame I

• Ottoman cushion J

Assembly

1.Assemble Chair Base

• Unfold the chair seat and legs A as

shown in Figure 2.

• Secure with the large bolts E in

locations 5 and 6 using the allen

wrench F .

TIPS: Do not fully tighten the first bolt

until you have lined up and partially

tightened both bolts..

Assembly will be easier if you turn the

base on its side.

4.Connect Power Source

• Locate the output jack behind the

Seville chair in the lower right hand

corner of the chair back (if viewed from

behind). The input jack will be found

along the side of the chair cushion near

the control panel. Making sure to line

up the arrows, firmly insert the input

jack into the output jack to connect the

massage mechanism with the control

panel. See Figure 7.

TIP: You may wish to thread the input

jack just inside the edge of the chair

back frame before connecting it so that

the cords are less visible.

3.Assemble Ottoman

• Unfold the ottoman legs H as shown in

Figure 5.

• Making sure to line up the marked corners

(1, 2, 3, 4),place the ottoman top frame

I on top of the legs H assembly will

be easier if you turn the ottoman on its

side as shown in Figure 5.

• Secure with 4 small bolts D in

locations 1, 2, 3 and 4 using the allen

wrench F . See Figure 5.

TIP: Do not fully tighten any bolt until

you have lined up and partially tightened

all 4 bolts.

• Make sure all bolts are fully tightened.

• Attach the ottoman cushion J as shown

in Figure 6. For proper fit, make sure

the adhesive strips are lined up.

Power Adapter Instructions

Connect the Adapter jack to the massage

chair power receptacle located along the

right side of the chair. Once inserted, plug the

other end into an AC power outlet. Use only

the AC power Adapter provided with this unit.

AC Power Adapter

Information

Your massage chair is powered by an

attached custom AC home Adapter. Use

only the supplied AC home Adapter as

other similar-looking adapters may cause

irreparable damage to the unit and will void

your warranty.

Massage Chair and Control

Panel Instructions

The control panel is located along the side

of the chair cushion as shown (Figure 8).

It opens away from the chair to expose the

control buttons (Figure 9). Press the

POWER button once to activate the control

panel. The LED indicator will illuminate. To

deactivate, press again. For complete

instructions, please see page 11.

The Seville chair includes an integrated, layered cushion for customized comfort as shown in

Figure 10. You may choose to use this cushion or flip it behind the chair back to have less

padding covering the massage mechanism. It is most likely that you will have the cushion

in the forward position when the chair is not in use or when just sitting in the chair. When

enjoying the massage function, the use of the cushion will depend on your personal

preference — you may soften the massage intensity by using the layered cushion and

strengthen the intensity by not using it.

Automatic Shut Off

The Seville chair has been designed for convenience and safety. As a special precaution

against falling asleep while using the unit, or leaving the unit on while it is still in

operation, we’ve programmed it to automatically stop working after 15 minutes. This

special feature should not be considered as a substitute for OFF. Always remember to

turn your unit off when not in use.

Maintenance

To Store: Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which might

damage/puncture the fabric.

To Clean: Disconnect massage chair from power source before cleaning.

The massage cushion and control panel may be cleaned with a soft,

damp cloth only.

• The massage cushion is not machine washable and must not come

into contact with water or any other liquids.

• Do not immerse into liquids to clean.

• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, polish or

paint thinner to clean.

• Do not attempt to repair your massage chair. There are no user

serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics service

address listed in the warranty section.

Frame: Periodically, the frame should be checked to ensure the screws

are tight. If the frame is found to be loose, tighten screws with the tools

provided.

The Seville and massage chair and ottoman are designed for indoor

applications only. Use of this product for outdoor applications may cause

irreparable damage and void your warranty.

Back Frame Removal for Warranty Service

If you experience a problem with the massage mechanism located in the

back frame of the Seville massage chair within a two year period, send

this component to the HoMedics Service Center for repair as noted in

the warranty on page 12.

To disassemble the back frame, first disconnect the power source located

behind the chair at the back cushion base and seat cushion. See figure 7

on page 6 for an illustration. Now completely unscrew the bolts located

along the base of the back cushion to detach from the chair. See figure 3

on page 5. Once removed, please see the warranty on page 12 for

further instruction.

Do not use the chair or connect it to a power source while

disassembled.

Shiatsu is a deep kneading

circular massage. This unit

features a massage mechanism

that travels up and down the

back of the cushion.

NOTE: The moving shiatsu

massage mechanism always

“parks” or finishes in its

highest position. It will

continue to this position

after the power has been

turned off. If the electrical

supply is interrupted, when

power is restored, the

mechanism will “park” or

move to its highest position.

Shiatsu Massage

Zone Buttons

Zone buttons cause the moving

shiatsu massage mechanism to

target specific areas of the back:

Full Back

The shiatsu massage mechanism

travels up and down the back.

Upper Back

The shiatsu massage mechanism

focuses from the mid to upper back.

Lower Back

The shiatsu mechanism focuses from

the mid to lower back.

To select a massage area, simply push

the button and the corresponding

L.E.D. light will illuminate. To deselect,

simply push the button again and the

corresponding L.E.D. light will turn off.

NOTE: There is a 15-minute auto

shut off on the unit for your safety.

Power Button

To turn on the massage

functions, first press the

POWER button. The L.E.D.

indicator will illuminate and

confirm your selection. To

turn off the massage functions,

simply press the button again.

The L.E.D. indicator will blink

while the shiatsu massage

mechanism returns to its

highest point and then it will

turn off.

Power Adapter

The massage chair is

volt AC Adapter, which is

included with your unit.

Demo Button

For a brief demonstration

of the features of the

massage chair, press the

Demo button. The unit

will complete one cycle

of shiatsu back massage

(down and then up the

back). Once complete,

the unit automatically

turns off.

Caution: Do not jam or force any

part of your body in the moving

massage mechanism.

(Valid in USA only)

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material and

workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase,

except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by

misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized

accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever

that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective only if

the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product that requires

modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than

the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or

authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not

covered under warranty. HoMedics shall not be responsible for any type of

incidental, consequential or special damages. All implied warranties,

including but not limited to those implied warranties of fitness and

merchantability, are limited in the total duration of two years from the

original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, mail the unit and

your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, along with

check or money order payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.

Back Frame warranty service is $20.00. Please refer to the section entitled

“Back Frame Removal for Warranty Service” on page 10 for instructions in

removing the back cushion/frame for warranty service.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your product

and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace your product,

HoMedics will replace the product with the same product or a comparable

product at HoMedics’ option. Warranty is solely through HoMedics Service

Center. Service of this product by anyone other than HoMedics Service

Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have

additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual

state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not

apply to you.

2. Monte el espaldar

• Deslice el espaldar de la silla B en los

extremos abiertos del marco de la silla A

como indicado en la Figura 3.

• Asegure con 4 pernos pequeños D en

las posiciones 7, 8, 9 y 10 usando la llave

allen F . Vea la Figura 3.

CONSEJOS: No apriete completamente

ningún perno hasta que haya alineado y

apretado parcialmente todos los 4 pernos.

1.Arme la base de la silla

• Abra el asiento y las patas A de la silla

como indicado en la Figura 2.

• Asegure con los pernos grandes E

en las posiciones 5 y 6 usando la llave

allen F . Vea la Figura 2.

CONSEJOS: No apriete completamente

el primer perno hasta que haya alineado

y apretado parcialmente ambos pernos.

4. Conecte la fuente

de energía

• Ubique el enchufe detrás de la silla Seville

en la esquina inferior derecha del espaldar

de la silla (si se la mira desde atrás). El

enchufe de entrada se encuentra a lo

largo del lado del cojín de la silla cerca del

panel de control. Asegurándose de alinear

las flechas, inserte firmemente el enchufe

de entrada en el enchufe de salida para

conectar el mecanismo de masaje al

panel de control. Vea la Figura 7.

CONSEJO: Si desea, puede posicionar el

enchufe de entrada apenas dentro del

borde del marco del espaldar de la silla

antes de conectarlo para que los cables

sean menos visibles.

3. Monte la otomana

• Abras las piernas H de la otomana como

indicado en la Figura 5.

• Asegurándose de poner en línea las

esquinas marcadas (1, 2, 3, 4),coloque el

marco superior I de la otomana sobre las

patas H ; el montaje es más fácil si usted

voltea la otomana sobre el lado como se

indica en la Figura 5.

• Asegure con 4 pernos pequeños D en

las posiciones 1, 2, 3 y 4 usando la llave

Instrucciones para el

Conecte el enchufe del adaptador al

el otro extremo a un tomacorriente de CA.

Instrucciones para la

silla masajeadora y el

panel de control

El panel de control se encuentra en el lado

del cojín de la silla como indicado (Figura 8).

Se abre hacia afuera de la silla para mostrar

los botones de control (Figura 9). Oprima

el botón POWER (ENCENDIDO) para activar

el panel de control. El indicador LED se

iluminará. Para desactivar, oprima

nuevamente. Para las instrucciones

completas, por favor vea la página 11.

La silla Seville incluye un cojín integrado y en capas para ajustar el nivel de comodidad

como indicado en la Figura 10. Usted puede escojer entre usar este cojín o doblarlo

detrás del espaldar de la silla para tener menos acolchonadura sobre el mecanismo de

masaje. Más probablemente usted prefiere el cojín en la posoción hacia adelante cuando

la silla no está en uso o cuando solamente desea sentarse en la silla. Cuando disfruta de

la función de masaje, el uso del cojín dependerá de su preferencia personal; — usted

puede suavizar la intensidad del masaje usando el cojín en capas y aumentar la intensidad

no usándolo.

Apagado Automático

La silla Seville ha sido diseñada para su comodidad y seguridad. Como precaución

especial para no quedarse dormido mientras usa la unidad, o dejar la unidad encendida

mientras está todavía en funcionamiento, hemos programado el sillón para que se

apague automáticamente después de15 minutos. Esta función especial no debe

considerarse como un substitutivo de la función OFF (Apagado). Recuerde siempre de

apagar esta unidad cuando no se esté usándola.

Mantenimiento

Para guardar: Evite el contacto con bordes filosos u objetos punzantes

que puedan dañar/perforar el material que lo recubre.

Para limpiar: Desconecte la silla masajeadora de la fuente de energía

antes de limpiarla. El cojín masajeador y el panel de control pueden

limpiarse únicamente con un paño suave húmedo.

• El cojín masajeador no se puede lavar a máquina y no debe entrar

en contacto con agua ni ningún otro líquido.

• Para limpiar, no sumerja en ningún líquido.

• Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén,

barniz o diluyente de pintura para limpiar.

• No intente reparar su silla masajeadora. No hay piezas que nece-

siten servicio por parte del usuario. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la

dirección del servicio HoMedics que se detalla en la sección de

garantía.

Marco: El marco debe verificarse periódicamente para asegurarse de que

los tornillos estén apretados. Si el marco está flojo, ajuste los tornillos con

las herramientas proporcionadas.

La silla masajeadora y otomana Seville están concebidos para usarse sólo

bajo techo. El uso de este producto para aplicaciones exteriores puede

causar daño irreparable y anular su garantía.

Remoción de marco del espaldar para

servicio bajo garantía

Si se presentara algún problema con el mecanismo de masaje ubicado

en el marco del espaldar de la silla masajeadora Seville dentro de un

período de dos años, envíe esta parte al Centro de servicio HoMedics

para reparaciones como se indica en la garantía en página 12.

Para desarmar el marco del espaldar, primero desconecte la fuente de

energía ubicada detrás de la silla a la base del cojín de atrás y del cojín

del asiento. Vea la Figura 7 en la página 6 para la ilustración. Ahora

destornille completamente los pernos ubicados a lo largo de la base del

cojín del espaldar para desprenderlo de la silla. Vea la Figura 3 en la

página 5. Una vez retirado, vea por favor la garantía en la página 12 para

más información.

Mientras esté desarmada, no use la silla ni la conecte a una fuente

de energía.

Mecanismo Móvil de

Shiatsu es un masaje con

movimiento circular en

profundidad. Esta unidad está

equipada con un mecanismo de

masaje que se desplaza hacia

arriba y hacia abajo en el cojín

del espaldar.

ATENCIÓN: El

mecanismo de masaje

shiatsu siempre se

apaga y termina en la

posición más alta.

Seguirá hasta lograr esta

posición después de

haberse apagado la

energía. Si se interrumpe

la energía eléctrica,

cuando la energía

vuelve, el mecanismo se

“parquea” o se desplaza

a su posición más alta.

Botones de masaje

Los botones para masaje localizado

shiatsu causan que el mecanismo de

masaje actúe sobre áreas específicas

de la espalda:

Espalda completa

El mecanismo de masaje shiatsu se

desplaza hacia arriba y abajo de la

espalda.

Hombros

El mecanismo de masaje shiatsu

actúa sobre el área central de la

espalda y los hombros.

Región lumbar

El mecanismo de masaje shiatsu

actúa sobre el área central de la

espalda y la región lumbar.

Para seleccionar un área de masaje,

simplemente presione el botón y el

L.E.D. correspondiente se iluminará.

Para anular la selección, simplemente

vuelva a oprimir el botón y el L.E.D.

correspondiente se apagará.

ATENCIÓN: En esta unidad hay

una función de apagado

automático después de 15

minutos, para su seguridad.

Botón de

Para encender las

funciones de masaje,

presione primero el botón

POWER (encendido). El

indicador L.E.D. se

iluminará y confirmará su

selección. Para apagar las

funciones de masaje,

simplemente oprima el

botón otra vez. El indicador

L.E.D. destellará mientras

el mecanismo de masaje

shiatsu vuelve a su

posición más alta y luego

se apaga.

Adaptador de

corriente

La silla masajeadora es

alimentada por un adaptador

especial de 120 voltios de

CA, incluido con su unidad.

Botón de

demostración

Para una breve

demostración de las

funciones de la silla

masajeadora, oprima el

botón Demo. La unidad

completará un ciclo de

masaje shiatsu para la

espalda (hacia abajo y

luego hacia arriba en la

espalda). Una vez

completada, la unidad se

apaga automáticamente.

Precaución: No trabe ni fuerce

ninguna parte de su cuerpo en el

mecanismo móvil de masaje.
