2. Intended purpose

The Callus Remover is intended for the removal of callus forma-

tion. It is designed solely for use on humans. It has been devel-

oped for private use and is unsuitable for commercial purposes.

Foreseeable misuse

Risk of injury

~ The device may not be used on reddened, injured or burnt

skin. Similarly, healthy skin without calluses may not be treat-

ed with this device. Birth marks, warts and other protrusions

(except calluses) must not be treated with this device. In all of

these cases, this could lead to injuries of the skin and deeper

tissue layers.

~ Diabetics and persons with high blood pressure

may only use this device after consultation with

their general practitioner.

should store batteries out of the reach of young children. If a

battery has been swallowed, medical assistance must be

crushed, thrown into a fire or short-circuited.

~ It is only permitted to charge batteries that are marked “re-

chargeable”.

~ Avoid short-circuiting the batteries with metal objects such as

e.g. rings, coins, bracelets or keys. Short-circuited batteries

and the conductive objects can overheat and cause burns.

~ Be sure to observe the correct polarity when inserting the

batteries. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type.

~ Clean the contacts of the batteries and device before insert-

~ Always remove used batteries from the device immediately,

5. General information about

calluses

Calloused skin is normal, especially on the feet. However, it

should not become too thick or hard. Both of these conditions can

cause pain.

Causes

An increase in calloused skin can be caused by the wrong shoes,

obesity, an incorrect gait, bone deformations or extremely dry

skin. Should you suffer from an increase in calloused skin, you

should search for the causes and try to eliminate them. Also ask

your doctor.

Prevention

• Regular foot baths refresh and relax your feet.

• Moisturize your feet regularly (especially after every foot

bath).

• Make sure that your shoes fit well and, if possible, change

your shoes daily.

6. How to use

• Remove all packing material.

• Check that the delivery is complete.

6.1 Power supply

NOTICE: risk of material damage

~ Be sure to observe the correct polarity when inserting the

batteries.

1. Slide the battery compartment lid|7 off the housing|5.

2. If necessary, replace the old batteries with new ones.

3. Slide the battery compartment lid|7 back on to the hous-

ing|5.

6.2 Removal and attachment of roller

holder

Removal

• Press the button|6 and remove the roller holder|2 upwards.

Attachment

1. Figure A: place the roller holder|2 on the top of the device

in such a way, that the cog wheels of the roller and the

device are above one another.

2. Press the roller holder|2 on to the device until it engages

audibly.

3. Check that it is secure.

7. Operation

Two complete rollers|1/8 with roller holders|2 are supplied.

They have different grains.

• The coarser grain (turquoise roller|

) is for use on thick calluses.

• The finer grain (purple roller|1) also removes calluses, but

also smoothes them. This roller is especially suitable for

smoothing after having used the coarser roller|8.

Risk of injury and skin irritation

~ Exert only light pressure. Do not treat one spot longer than 2-

3 seconds. If too much pressure is exerted or if the treatment

duration is too long, this can lead to skin injuries.

7.1 Application

• Make sure the skin is dry.

• It is imperative that the skin is taut.

• Stop the treatment immediately in case of pain.

• Lay a blanket or towel down, on which the removed cal-

loused skin can fall.

1. Expose the parts from which the calluses are to be removed.

2. Press the safety button|4 down and then press the slide

switch|3 up. The roller|1/8 starts to rotate.

3. Apply the rotating roller slowly and carefully to the callus,

which is to be removed.

4. Apply the roller|1/8 to the callus with only a little pressure.

5. To switch off the device, slide the button|3 down.

7.2 Skin care after application

• Apply body lotion, oil or cream to the skin.

• Do not apply any substances (e.g. deodorant) to the treated

areas, which could irritate the skin.

8. Cleaning and maintenance of the

device

NOTICE: risk of material damage

~ Do not switch the device on if the roller unit has been re-

moved.

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.

~ None of the parts may be cleaned under water.

After every application

• Clean the roller holder|2 and the roller|1/8 after every

application.

1. Switch off the device.

2. Clean the roller holder and the rollers with the brush|10

after every application.

3. Place the protective lid|9 on the roller holder|2.

From time to time

• Wipe down the housing of the device with a damp cloth

when necessary.

• Check whether the surface of the roller|1/8 is undamaged.

To do so, turn the roller and check the surface carefully.

9. Storage

TIP:

• To prevent soiling, store the device with attached roller and

protective lid.

• Place the protective lid|9 on the roller holder|2.

• If you are not going to be using the device for a longer peri-

od of time, remove the batteries.

10. Replacing the roller

~Do not use the device if the surface

of the roller is damaged.

TIP:

• Replacement rollers can be ordered at.

• When you can see signs of damage.

• If you need an increasing amount of time for the same result.

• Depending on the intensity of use, but generally after one year.

El quita durezas está diseñado para eliminar las callosidades de

la piel. Está diseñado para uso exclusivo en personas. Está con-

cebido para el uso personal, y no es apto para fines comercia-

5. Información general sobre las

callosidades

Es normal tener callosidades, sobre todo en los pies. Sin embar-

go, no hay que dejar que se engrosen o endurezcan. Ambas

condiciones pueden ocasionar dolor.

Causas

Un aumento en la piel endurecida puede producirse por usar un

calzado incorrecto, por obesidad, por caminar de forma inco-

rrecta, por deformidades óseas o por una piel extremadamente

seca. Si usted observa un aumento en la formación de callosida-

des, debería buscar las causas y tratar de eliminarlas. Consulte

también a su médico.

Prevención

• Los pediluvios regulares refrescan y relajan los pies.

• Hidrate los pies regularmente (sobre todo después de cada

pediluvio).

• Asegúrese de que sus zapatos le ajusten bien y, si es posi-

ble, cambie de zapatos todos los días.

7. Funcionamiento

Se suministran dos rodillos completos|1/8 con sus soportes del

rodillo|2. Tienen distintos granos.

• El grano más grueso (rodillo turquesa|

) se debe usar en callosi-

dades gruesas.

• El grano más fino (rodillo morado|1) también elimina callosi-

dades, pero también las suaviza. Este rodillo es particular-

mente adecuado para suavizar después de haber usado el

rodillo más grueso|8.

~ Ejerza solo una presión leve. No permanezca sobre una

zona más de 2 o 3 segundos. Si ejerce demasiada presión,

o si un tratamiento tarda demasiado, puede ocasionar lesio-

7.1 Aplicación

• Es muy importante que la piel esté bien tensa.

• Interrumpa de inmediato el tratamiento si siente dolor.

• Coloque una manta o una toalla que recoja las callosidades
