Felicidades por la compra de su aparato nuevo.
Ha adquirido un producto de alta calidad. Las instrucciones de uso forman parte
del producto y contienen indicaciones importantes acerca de la seguridad, el
uso y el desecho de este aparato. Antes de usar el producto, familiarícese con
todas las indicaciones de manejo y de seguridad. Utilice el producto únicamente
como se describe y para los ámbitos de aplicación indicados. Entregue todos
los documentos cuando transfi era el producto a terceros.

Esta documentación está protegida por derechos de propiedad industrial.
Solo se permite su reproducción o reimpresión, total o parcial, así como la

Uso previsto
Este aparato está diseñado exclusivamente para la limpieza de suelos en espacios
interiores. Cualquier uso diferente o que supere lo indicado se considerará
contrario al uso previsto. El aparato no está previsto para su uso comercial o
industrial.
Se excluyen las reclamaciones de cualquier tipo a causa de daños producidos
por un uso contrario a lo dispuesto, reparaciones incorrectas, modifi caciones
no autorizadas o el uso de piezas de repuesto no autorizadas. El riesgo será

Indicaciones de seguridad
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► Conecte el aparato exclusivamente a una base de enchufe
instalada conforme a la normativa y con una tensión de red
de 220 - 240 V
~
, 50/60 Hz.
► En caso de errores de funcionamiento y antes de limpiar el
aparato, extraiga la clavija de la base de enchufe.
► Extraiga siempre el cable de red de la base de enchufe
tirando de la clavija y no del propio cable.
► No doble ni aplaste el cable de red y tiéndalo de modo
que nadie pueda pisarlo ni tropezar con él.
► Si la clavija de red o el cable de red están dañados, enco-
miende su sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al
servicio de asistencia técnica con el fi n de evitar riesgos.
► No permita que el cable de red se moje o humedezca mientras
el aparato esté en funcionamiento. Tienda el cable de forma
que no se dañe ni quede aprisionado durante el manejo.
► Si el aparato está dañado, no deberá continuar utilizándolo
para evitar riesgos.
► Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe antes de
reponer agua o de limpiar o cambiar los accesorios.
Utilice el aparato únicamente en espacios secos, no al
aire libre.
► ¡No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos!
► No dirija nunca el vapor directamente sobre aparatos eléctricos
o dispositivos que contengan componentes eléctricos, como
el interior de un horno.

► Utilice el aparato exclusivamente con las manos secas y siem-
pre con zapatos (nunca descalzo). De este modo, se reduce
el peligro de descarga eléctrica si se produce algún fallo.
► No oriente nunca el aparato hacia objetos sensibles a la
humedad.
► Este aparato puede ser utilizado por personas cuyas facultades
físicas, sensoriales o mentales sean reducidas o carezcan de
los conocimientos y de la experiencia necesaria siempre
que sean vigiladas o hayan sido instruidas correctamente
sobre el uso seguro del aparato y hayan comprendido los
peligros que entraña. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.
Los niños no deben realizar las tareas de limpieza y mante-
nimiento del aparato sin supervisión.

► Deje enfriar los accesorios antes de extraerlos.
► Utilice exclusivamente los accesorios originales del aparato.

sufi cientemente seguras.
► No debe utilizarse el aparato si se ha caído, si se aprecian
daños visibles o si no es estanco.
► Debe mantenerse el aparato fuera del alcance de los niños
siempre que esté activado o mientras se enfríe.
► No dirija nunca el vapor hacia personas o animales.
¡El vapor caliente puede causar lesiones graves!
► Desconecte la clavija de red de la base de enchufe cada
vez que interrumpa el funcionamiento del aparato, tras
fi nalizar su uso y antes de limpiarlo.

Observe las indicaciones de seguridad.
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡PELIGRO DE DAÑOS MATERIALES!
► Utilice exclusivamente el aparato sobre suelos de mármol,
piedra, baldosas, parqué o madera dura que hayan sido
tratados y sean impermeables al agua.
► Nunca utilice el aparato en las siguientes circunstancias:
– ... sobre suelos no tratados o permeables,
– ... sobre superfi cies de cristal,
– ... sobre superfi cies de plástico blandas,
– ... sobre suelos encerados,
– ... sobre alfombras o moquetas con un porcentaje de
lana en el tejido.
► Observe siempre las indicaciones de limpieza del fabrican-
te de la alfombra/moqueta. Antes de proceder a la limpie-
za, compruebe también si la alfombra/moqueta es apta
para su limpieza con vapor.
► Utilice exclusivamente el aparato sobre suelos de parqué si
están sellados.
► No deje el aparato mucho tiempo encendido sobre un suelo
de madera, ya que la madera podría hincharse.
► No ponga nunca el aparato en funcionamiento con el
depósito de agua vacío. De lo contrario, la bomba podría
trabajar en vacío y sobrecalentarse.
► No utilice ningún tipo de reloj programador externo ni sistema
de control remoto para accionar el aparato.
► No deje nunca el aparato desatendido durante su funciona-
miento.
► No utilice el aparato a la intemperie.

Desembalaje y conexión
Indicaciones de seguridad
¡ADVERTENCIA!
Durante la puesta en funcionamiento del aparato,
pueden producirse lesiones personales y daños
materiales.
Observe las siguientes indicaciones de seguridad para evitar
peligros:
► Los materiales de embalaje no deben usarse para jugar.
Existe peligro de asfi xia.
Volumen de suministro e inspección de transporte
El aparato se suministra de serie con los siguientes componentes
(consulte la página desplegable):
● Unidad principal
● Base de la mopa
● Aro para la limpieza de alfombras/moquetas
● 2 mopas
● Instrucciones de uso
INDICACIÓN
►
Compruebe la integridad del suministro y si hay daños visibles.
► Si el suministro está incompleto o se observan daños debido a un embalaje
defi ciente o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de
asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia técnica).
Desembalaje
♦ Extraiga todas las piezas del aparato y las instrucciones de uso de la caja.
♦ Retire el resto de material de embalaje, así como las posibles láminas y adhesivos.

Desecho del embalaje
El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje
se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de desecho, por lo
que es reciclable.
El reciclaje del embalaje permite ahorrar en materias primas y reduce el volumen
de residuos. Deseche el material de embalaje innecesario de la forma dispuesta
por las normativas locales aplicables.
INDICACIÓN
►
Si es posible, conserve el embalaje original durante el periodo de garantía
del aparato para poder empaquetarlo correctamente en caso de una
reclamación conforme a la garantía.
Montaje del aparato
♦ Inserte la unidad principal 3 en el inserto de conexión 4 de la base de la
mopa 5 y presione la unidad principal 3 hacia abajo hasta que el encastre
circular encaje.
♦ Coloque una mopa 6 en la base de la mopa 5 desde abajo.
INDICACIÓN
►
Si desea limpiar suelos con alfombras/moquetas con la mopa de vapor,
coloque la base de la mopa 5 sobre el aro para alfombras p. Para ello,
asegúrese de que el desencastre del aro para alfombras a quede alinea-
do con el inserto de conexión 4. Presione la base de la mopa 5 contra
el aro para alfombras p hasta que sienta que encastre. Tras esto, podrá
pasarse la mopa 6 por la alfombra/moqueta.
► Para retirar el aro para alfombras p, pise el desencastre del aro para
alfombras a y tire cuidadosamente de la base de la mopa 5 para
extraerla del aro para alfombras p.
Manejo y funcionamiento
En este capítulo, se proporcionan indicaciones importantes sobre el manejo y
funcionamiento del aparato.
Llenado de agua
¡ATENCIÓN: DAÑOS MATERIALES!
►
¡No utilice nunca el aparato sin agua en el depósito de agua 8!
De lo contrario, la bomba podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse.
1) Desplace el botón de desbloqueo “depósito de agua” 9 hacia abajo y
tire al mismo tiempo del depósito de agua 8 inclinándolo hacia atrás para
extraerlo del aparato.
2) Dé la vuelta al depósito de agua 8 y desenrosque el cierre.

3) Llene el depósito de agua 8 hasta la marca MAX con agua corriente.
INDICACIÓN
Si el agua corriente de su lugar de residencia es muy dura, es recomendable
mezclarla con agua destilada. De lo contrario, podrían formarse prematu-
ramente restos de cal en las boquillas del chorro de vapor.
Para mantener la función del chorro de vapor en perfecto estado durante
más tiempo, mezcle el agua corriente con agua destilada según lo dispuesto
en la tabla.

Puede informarse sobre la dureza del agua en la central de abastecimiento
de agua local.
4) Enrosque el cierre fi rmemente con la mano.
5) Vuelva a dar la vuelta al depósito de agua 8 e insértelo en la unidad
principal 3: Coloque primero la parte inferior en la unidad principal 3
y, después, incline la parte superior hacia el aparato. Presione fi rmemente
hasta que el depósito de agua 8 encastre de forma audible y quede bien
asentado en la unidad principal 3.
Manejo
¡ATENCIÓN: DAÑOS MATERIALES!
►
Si no está seguro de si el suelo es apto para la limpieza, compruebe su
compatibilidad con antelación en una zona menos visible.
► Observe siempre las indicaciones de limpieza del fabricante de la alfom-
bra/moqueta. Antes de proceder a la limpieza, compruebe también si la
alfombra/moqueta es apta para su limpieza con vapor.
► No utilice nunca el aparato sin la mopa 6 sobre la base de la mopa 5.
¡De lo contrario, arañará el suelo!
► ¡No utilice nunca el aparato sin agua en el depósito de agua 8!
De lo contrario, la bomba podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse.
INDICACIÓN
►
Antes de limpiar el suelo con la mopa a vapor, recomendamos que lo aspi-
re para eliminar las partículas sueltas de polvo.

Una vez el aparato esté bien montado y lleno de agua, realice lo siguiente:
1) Mantenga pulsado el botón de desbloqueo “mango” 1 y abata el mango
hacia arriba para que encastre.
2) Si aún no lo ha hecho: desenrolle completamente el cable de red de los
ganchos para el cable z/ i. Para desenrollar el cable con mayor faci-
lidad, puede abatir el gancho superior para el cable z hacia abajo con
solo tirar ligeramente de este y girarlo al mismo tiempo.
3) Introduzca el cable de red a través de la ranura t de la parte trasera del
mango para que no quede colgando en la zona de trabajo.
4) Conecte la clavija de red a la base de enchufe.
5) Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en la posición de encendido
“I”. El interruptor de encendido/apagado u se ilumina y el piloto de
control rojo POWER 0 parpadea.
6) Seleccione la intensidad deseada para el vapor con el botón MODE e:
– 1 pulsación: poco vapor, se enciende el piloto de control verde w.
– 2 pulsaciones: mucho vapor, se enciende el piloto de control rojo q.
– 3 pulsaciones: no se genera vapor, modo de espera, se enciende el
piloto de control POWER 0.
INDICACIÓN
►
Recomendamos el nivel de vapor más alto, sobre todo, para suelos revestidos
con un material resistente a la humedad y al calor, como las baldosas.
► Recomendamos el nivel de vapor más bajo para suelos revestidos con un
material sensible a la humedad y al calor, como, p. ej., el parqué.
7) Espere unos 30 segundos a que se caliente el aparato.
8) Pulse el botón "vapor" r. El aparato comenzará a generar vapor y, tras un
breve periodo de tiempo, saldrá vapor por la mopa 6.
9) Limpie las superfi cies deseadas.
Si, durante el uso, se vacía el depósito de agua 8, haga lo siguiente:

Cuando se vacía el depósito de agua 8, la bomba sigue funcionando
durante un tiempo hasta que se indica que el depósito de agua 8 está vacío
mediante el parpadeo simultáneo del piloto de control rojo “vapor de alta
intensidad” q, del piloto de control verde “vapor de baja intensidad” w
y del piloto de control POWER 0.
– Vuelva a pulsar la tecla "vapor" r para detener la generación de vapor.
– Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en “O”.
– Retire el depósito de agua 8, llénelo y vuelva a colocar el depósito de
agua 8 de la manera descrita en el capítulo "Llenado de agua".

– Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en la posición de
encendido “I”.
– Seleccione la intensidad del vapor deseada de la manera descrita y
pulse el botón "vapor" r.
10) Cuando haya fi nalizado la limpieza, pulse el botón "vapor" r para dete-
ner la generación de vapor.
11) Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en “O”. A continuación, se
apaga el piloto de control POWER 0.
12) Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe.
INDICACIÓN
►
Si, tras la limpieza con el aparato, se aprecian marcas en el suelo, puede
deberse a los productos de limpieza utilizados anteriormente. Basta con
que vuelva a limpiar el suelo con la mopa a vapor. Tras hacerlo, deberían
desaparecer las marcas.
Después de su uso
1) Deje que el aparato se enfríe.
2) Retire la mopa 6.
3) Extraiga el depósito de agua 8 del aparato y vacíelo.
4) Tire ligeramente del gancho superior para el cable z hacia fuera y vuélvalo
a girar hacia arriba. Enrolle el cable de red alrededor de los dos ganchos
para el cable z/i.
Fije el extremo del cable de red por medio del clip para el cable que se
encuentra en él.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
►
¡Antes de proceder a la limpieza, extraiga la clavija de red!
¡ADVERTENCIA: PELIGRO DE LESIONES!
► Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. ¡Peligro de quemaduras!
¡ATENCIÓN - DAÑOS MATERIALES!
► Para la limpieza de las superfi cies, no utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos
ni químicos ni objetos afi lados o que puedan provocar arañazos.
■ Vacíe el depósito de agua 8 después de cada uso.
■ Después de cada uso, retire la mopa 6 de la base de la mopa 5 y lávela.

■ Observe las siguientes indicaciones de lavado para la limpieza de la mopa 6
en la lavadora:
Lave la mopa a un máx. de 60°.
No seque la mopa en la secadora.
No planche la mopa.
■ En caso necesario, limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. En caso de
suciedad incrustada, añada al paño un producto de limpieza suave.
Mantenimiento/cambio del fi ltro
Tras 4-6 meses o aprox. 100 ciclos de limpieza (un ciclo se corresponde con un
llenado del depósito de agua), debe cambiarse el fi ltro 7. Le rogamos que se
dirija a nuestro servicio de asistencia técnica para obtener un fi ltro de repuesto.
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
►
¡Antes de cambiar el fi ltro 7, extraiga siempre la clavija de red!
1) Para retirar el fi ltro 7, extraiga primero el depósito de agua 8 del aparato.
2) Tire del fi ltro 7 hacia arriba para retirarlo del aparato.
3) Inserte el nuevo fi ltro 7.
4) Inserte el depósito de agua 8.

Almacenamiento
■ Para abatir el mango, pulse el botón de desbloqueo "mango" 1.
■ Tire ligeramente del gancho superior para el cable z hacia fuera y vuélvalo
a girar hacia arriba. Enrolle el cable de red alrededor de los dos ganchos
para el cable z/i.
■ Sujete el aparato por el mango de transporte 2.
■ Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco y sin polvo.
Desecho
No deseche nunca el aparato con la basura doméstica. Este
producto está sujeto a la Directiva europea 2012/19/EU-RAEE
(residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos).
Deseche el aparato en un centro de residuos autorizado o a través de las ins-
talaciones de desecho de residuos comunitarias. Observe las normas vigentes.
En caso de duda, póngase en contacto con las instalaciones municipales de
desecho de residuos.

Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra.
Si se detectan defectos en el producto, puede ejercer sus derechos legales frente
al vendedor. Estos derechos legales no se ven limitados por la garantía descrita
a continuación.
Condiciones de la garantía
El plazo de la garantía comienza con la fecha de compra. Guarde bien el com-
probante de caja original, ya que lo necesitará como justifi cante de compra.
Si dentro de un periodo de tres años a partir de la fecha de compra de este pro-
ducto se detecta un defecto en su material o un error de fabricación, asumiremos
la reparación o sustitución gratuita del producto a nuestra elección. La prestación
de la garantía requiere la presentación del aparato defectuoso y del comprobante
de caja, así como una breve descripción por escrito del defecto detectado y de
las circunstancias en las que se haya producido dicho defecto, dentro del plazo
de tres años.
Si el defecto está cubierto por nuestra garantía, le devolveremos el producto repa-
rado o le suministraremos uno nuevo. La reparación o sustitución del producto no
supone el inicio de un nuevo periodo de garantía.
Duración de la garantía y reclamaciones legales por vicios
La duración de la garantía no se prolonga por hacer uso de ella. Este principio
también se aplica a las piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Si después de la compra
del aparato, se detecta la existencia de daños o de defectos al desembalarlo,
deben notifi carse de inmediato. Cualquier reparación que se realice una vez
fi nalizado el plazo de garantía estará sujeta a costes.
Alcance de la garantía
El aparato se ha fabricado cuidadosamente según estándares elevados de
calidad y se ha examinado en profundidad antes de su entrega.
La prestación de la garantía solo rige para defectos en los materiales o errores
de fabricación. Esta garantía no cubre las piezas del producto normalmente
sometidas al desgaste y que, en consecuencia, puedan considerarse piezas de
desgaste ni los daños producidos en los componentes frágiles, p. ej., interruptores,
baterías, moldes de horno o piezas de vidrio.
Se anulará la garantía si el producto se daña o no se utiliza o mantiene correctamente.
Para utilizar correctamente el producto, deben observarse todas las indicaciones
especifi cadas en las instrucciones de uso. Debe evitarse cualquier uso y manejo que
esté desaconsejado o frente al que se advierta en las instrucciones de uso.
El producto está previsto exclusivamente para su uso privado y no para su uso
comercial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la fuerza
y apertura del aparato por personas ajenas a nuestros centros de asistencia
técnica autorizados, la garantía perderá su validez.

Proceso de reclamación conforme a la garantía
Para garantizar una tramitación rápida de su reclamación, le rogamos que observe
las siguientes indicaciones:
■ Mantenga siempre a mano el comprobante de caja y el número de artículo
(p. ej., IAN 12345) como justifi cante de compra.
■ Podrá ver el número de artículo en la placa de características, grabado en
el aparato, en la portada de las instrucciones (parte inferior izquierda) o en
un adhesivo en la parte trasera o inferior del aparato.
■ Si se producen errores de funcionamiento u otros defectos, póngase primero
en contacto con el departamento de asistencia técnica especifi cado a conti-
nuación por teléfono o por correo electrónico.
■ Podrá enviar el producto califi cado como defectuoso junto con el justifi cante
de compra (comprobante de caja) y la descripción del defecto y de las
circunstancias en las que se haya producido de forma gratuita a la dirección
de correo proporcionada.

l'uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, familiarizzare con tutte le
indicazioni relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare il prodotto solo come

Indicazioni di sicurezza
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► Collegare l'apparecchio a una presa installata a norma con
tensione di rete di 220 - 240 V
~
, 50/60 Hz.
► In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
► Disconnettere la spina dalla presa tirando sempre dalla
spina, mai dal cavo.
► Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di alimentazione e posi-
zionarlo in modo che non sia d'intralcio o d'inciampo.
► Al fi ne di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente spine
o cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato
o dal centro di assistenza clienti.
► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non
sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità. Posarlo in modo tale da
impedire che si incastri o danneggi.
► Al fi ne di evitare pericoli, in caso di danni all'apparecchio
non continuare a utilizzarlo.
► Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa, prima di riempire
l'apparecchio con acqua, di pulirlo o di sostituire gli
accessori.
Utilizzare l'apparecchio solo in ambienti asciutti, non
all'aperto.
► Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua o altri liquidi!
► Non dirigere mai il vapore direttamente su apparecchi
elettrici o dispositivi contenenti componenti elettrici, come
ad esempio l'interno di forni.

► Utilizzare l'apparecchio solo con le mani asciutte e non senza
scarpe (non a piedi scalzi). In tal modo, si riduce il rischio di
scosse elettriche in caso di funzionamento difettoso.
► Non dirigere l'apparecchio su oggetti sensibili all'umidità.
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da persone con
capacità fi siche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insuffi ciente
esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliate o istruite
sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano com-
preso i pericoli associati. I bambini non devono giocare con
l'apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente
non devono essere eseguite da bambini, a meno che non
siano sorvegliati.

► Alcune parti dell'apparecchio diventano bollenti durante
l'uso! Sussiste il pericolo di ustione!
► Fare raff reddare gli accessori utilizzati prima di rimuoverli.
► Impiegare solo gli accessori originali di questo apparecchio.
Altri componenti potrebbero non essere suffi cientemente sicuri.
► L'apparecchio non deve venire utilizzato se è caduto, se
presenta danni visibili o se non è chiuso ermeticamente.
► L'apparecchio deve essere tenuto fuori dalla portata dei
bambini quando è acceso o si sta raff reddando.
► Non dirigere mai il vapore su persone o animali. Il vapore
bollente può provocare gravi ustioni!
► Ad ogni interruzione o cessazione dell'uso e prima di ogni
pulizia staccare la spina dalla presa.

PERICOLO DI USTIONI!
Attenzione! Superfi cie rovente!
Questo simbolo mette in guardia dalla fuoriuscita
di vapore. Seguire le indicazioni di sicurezza!
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI DANNI MATERIALI!
► Utilizzare l'apparecchio esclusivamente su pavimenti in mar-
mo, pietra, piastrelle, parquet o legno duro che sono trattati
e impermeabili.
► Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio...
– ... su pavimenti non trattati o permeabili all'acqua,
– ... su superfi ci di vetro,
– ... su superfi ci di plastica morbide,
– ... su pavimenti trattati con cera,
– ... su tappeti con percentuale di lana.
► Osservare sempre le indicazioni per la pulizia fornite dal
produttore di tappeti e moquettes. Prima di iniziare la puli-
zia verifi care inoltre se il tappeto o moquette è adatto per la
pulitura a vapore.
► Utilizzare l'apparecchio sul parquet solo se è sigillato
saldamente.
► Non lasciare acceso l'apparecchio per un tempo prolungato
sui pavimenti in legno. Il legno potrebbe gonfi arsi.
► Non azionare l'apparecchio con il serbatoio dell'acqua vuoto.
Altrimenti la pompa potrebbe girare a vuoto e surriscaldarsi.
► Non utilizzare timer esterni o un sistema di telecomando
separato per azionare l'apparecchio.
► Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito durante l'uso.
► Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.

Indicazioni di sicurezza
AVVERTENZA!
Durante la messa in funzione dell'apparecchio
possono verifi carsi danni personali e materiali!
Rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza, per evitare i
pericoli:
► Il materiale di imballaggio non deve venire utilizzato come
giocattolo. Pericolo di soff ocamento.
Volume della fornitura e ispezione per eventuali danni
da trasporto
La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti
(vedi pagina apribile):

AVVERTENZA
►
Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o
da imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza (vedere
capitolo Assistenza).
Disimballaggio
♦ Rimuovere dal cartone tutte le parti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni.
♦ Rimuovere tutto il materiale di imballaggio ed eventuali pellicole e adesivi.

Smaltimento della confezione
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio da danni di trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e
alle caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la ge-
nerazione di rifi uti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità
alle norme vigenti locali.
AVVERTENZA
►
Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, se possibile, conservare
l'imballaggio originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio
in caso di intervento in garanzia.
Montaggio dell'apparecchio
♦ Infi lare l'unità principale 3 nel beccuccio di collegamento 4 sulla testa vapore 5
e premere l'unità principale 3 verso il basso fi no a farla innestare nel blocco
rotondo.
♦ Fissare un panno 6 dal basso sulla testa vapore 5.
AVVERTENZA
►
Se si desidera pulire moquette con il lavapavimenti a vapore, collocare
la testa vapore 5 sull’anello per tappeti p. Nel far questo badare che
l’ausilio di sblocco anello per tappeti a sia allineato al beccuccio di
collegamento 4. Infi lare la testa vapore 5 sull’anello per tappeti p
esercitando pressione in modo tale che quest’ultimo si innesti in posizione.
In tal modo il panno 6 può scivolare sulla moquette e tappeti.
► Per rimuovere l’anello per tappeti p premere con il piede l’ausilio di sbloc-
co anello per tappeti a e sfi lare con cautela la testa vapore 5 dall’anello
per tappeti p.
Comandi e funzionamento
In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al
funzionamento dell'apparecchio.
Riempimento dell'acqua
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
►
Non azionare mai l'apparecchio senza acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8!
La pompa può altrimenti diventare bollente e danneggiarsi!
1) Spingere il tasto di sblocco “Serbatoio dell’acqua” 9 verso il basso e
ribaltandolo sfi lare contemporaneamente il serbatoio dell’acqua 8 dal lato
posteriore dell’apparecchio.
2) Ruotare il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 e svitare la chiusura.

3) Aggiungere acqua corrente fi no alla tacca MAX nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8.
AVVERTENZA
Nel caso in cui l'acqua di rubinetto nella regione in cui si risiede fosse
troppo dura, si consiglia di mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua
distillata. Altrimenti gli ugelli per la funzione getto di vapore potrebbero
calcifi carsi precocemente.
Per prolungare in modo ottimale la funzione getto di vapore, mescolare
l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua distillata seguendo le indicazioni della tabella.

Il valore di durezza dell'acqua può essere richiesto presso l'acquedotto
municipale.
4) Avvitare saldamente la chiusura.
5) Voltare di nuovo il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 e inserirlo nell'unità principale 3:
dapprima innestare la parte inferiore nell'unità principale 3 e ribaltare poi
la parte superiore nell'apparecchio. Premerlo saldamente in modo che il
serbatoio dell'acqua 8 si innesti con un clic e si attesti saldamente nell'unità
principale 3.
Uso
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
►
Se si è sicuri se il pavimento sia o meno idoneo per la pulizia, verifi carne
prima la compatibilità in un punto nascosto.
► Osservare sempre le indicazioni per la pulizia fornite dal produttore di tap-
peti e moquettes. Prima di iniziare la pulizia verifi care inoltre se il tappeto o
moquette è adatto per la pulitura a vapore.
► Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio senza panno 6 sulla testa vapore 5.
Altrimenti i pavimenti si graffi ano!
► Non azionare mai l'apparecchio senza acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8!
La pompa può altrimenti diventare bollente e danneggiarsi!
AVVERTENZA
►
Prima di pulire il pavimento con il lavapavimenti a vapore, consigliamo
di aspirare il pavimento per eliminare le particelle di sporco sciolte.
Quando l'apparecchio è pronto e riempito con acqua:

1) Tenere premuto il tasto di sblocco “Maniglia” 1 e ribaltare la maniglia
verso l’alto in modo che si innesti in posizione.
2) Se non è ancora stato fatto: Svolgere sempre completamente il cavo di
rete dai rispettivi ganci z/i. Per svolgere il cavo più facilmente si può
ribaltare il gancio superiore z verso il basso estraendolo leggermente e
contemporaneamente ruotandolo.
3) Guidare il cavo di rete attraverso l'intaglio t sul retro della maniglia in
modo che il cavo di rete non sia appeso nella zona di lavoro.
4) Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
5) Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “I”. L'interruttore ON/OFF u si
accende, la spia di controllo rossa POWER 0 lampeggia.
6) Scegliere con il tasto MODE e l'intensità desiderata della produzione di vapore:
– premere 1 volta: produzione di poco vapore, la spia di controllo verde w
si accende.
– premere 2 volte: produzione di molto vapore, la spia di controllo rossa q
si accende.
– premere 3 volte: nessuna produzione di vapore, stato di pronto, spia di
controllo POWER 0 si accende.
AVVERTENZA
►
Il livello di vapore con produzione di molto vapore è consigliabile soprattutto
per pavimenti insensibili all'umidità e al calore come le piastrelle.
► Il livello di vapore con produzione di poco vapore è consigliabile per
pavimenti sensibili all'umidità e al calore come ad esempio il parquet.
7) Attendere circa 30 secondi, per far riscaldare l'apparecchio.
8) Premere il tasto "Vapore" r. L'apparecchio inizia a produrre vapore e dopo
poco tempo fuoriesce il vapore dal panno 6.
9) Strofi nare le superfi cie desiderate.
Se durante l'uso il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 è vuoto:

Quando il serbatoio dell’acqua 8 è completamente svuotato, la pompa
continua ancora a funzionare per qualche tempo fi no a quando il
serbatoio dell’acqua 8 non viene visualizzato tramite il contemporaneo
lampeggio della spia di controllo rossa “Forte intensità di vapore” q,
della spia di controllo verde “Bassa intensità di vapore” w e della spia di
controllo POWER 0.
– premere il tasto "Vapore" r per fermare la produzione di vapore.
– Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “O”.
– Rimuovere il serbatoio dell'acqua 8, riempirlo e reinsere il serbatoio
dell'acqua 8 come descritto nel capitolo "Riempimento dell'acqua".

– Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “I”.
– Scegliere l'intensità di vapore desiderata come descritto sopra e premere il
tasto "Vapore" r.
10) Una volta ultimato il trattamento di tutte le superfi ci, premere il tasto
"Vapore" r per fermare la produzione di vapore.
11) Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “O”. La spia di controllo POWER 0
si spegne.
12) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
AVVERTENZA
►
Se dopo la pulizia con l'apparecchio dovessero essere visibili delle striature,
questo può dipendere dai detergenti precedentemente usati. Basta pulire il
pavimento di nuovo con il lavapavimenti a vapore. Le striature dovrebbero
scomparire.
Dopo l'uso
1) Fare raff reddare l'apparecchio.
2) Rimuovere il panno 6.
3) Estrarre il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 dall'apparecchio e svuotarlo.
4) Tirare il gancio superiore del cavo z leggermente verso l'esterno e ruotarlo

■ Se necessario pulire l'apparecchio con un panno umido. In caso di sporco
resistente, versare un po' di detergente delicato sul panno.
Manutenzione/Sostituzione fi ltro
Dopo 4 - 6 mesi o circa 100 cicli di pulizia (un ciclo corrisponde a un riempimento
del serbatoio dell'acqua), si deve sostituire il fi ltro 7. Per il fi ltro di ricambio
rivolgersi all'assistenza.

Conservazione
■ Girare la maniglia, premendo il tasto di sblocco "Maniglia" 1.

ancora verso l'alto. Riavvolgere il cavo intorno ai due ganci del cavo z/i.
■ Prendere l'apparecchio dalla maniglia di trasporto 2.
■ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto e privo di polvere.
Smaltimento
Non gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifi uti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea
RAEE 2012/19/EU (Rifi uti da Apparecchiature Elettriche ed
Elettroniche).
Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o dall'ente

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying
a mains power voltage of 220 - 240 V
~
, 50/60 Hz.
► In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning
the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the
socket, do not pull the power cable itself.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable
so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power
cables to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or
our Customer Service Department.
► Make sure that the power cable does not become wet or
damp during use. Route the cable in such a way that it
cannot be crushed or damaged.
► To prevent risks, stop using the appliance immediately if it
is damaged.
► Disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket before
fi lling it with water, changing accessories or cleaning it.
Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not
outdoors.
► Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
► Never aim the steam jet directly at electrical appliances or
equipment which contains electrical components, such as
the interior of ovens.

► Use the appliance only on fl oors made of marble, stone, tile,
parquet fl ooring or hardwood that have been treated and
are impervious to water.
► Never use the appliance ...
– ... on untreated or permeable fl oors,
– ... on glass surfaces,
– ... on soft plastic surfaces,
– ... on fl oors that have been treated with wax,
– ... on carpets with wool content.
► Always comply with the cleaning instructions of the carpet
manufacturer. Before cleaning, check also whether the car-
pet is suitable for steam cleaning. Use the appliance only
on parquet fl oors if they have been hard-sealed.
► Do not leave the appliance standing on wooden fl oors for
any length of time while it is switched on. This might cause
the wood to swell.
► Do not operate the appliance with an empty water tank.
Otherwise, the pump could run dry and overheat.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.

Safety instructions
WARNING
During the fi rst use of the appliance there is a risk
of injury and/or damage to property!
To avoid risks, observe the following safety instructions:
► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials.
There is a risk of suff ocation.
Package contents and transport inspection
The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard (see fold-
out page):
● Main unit
● Steam foot
● Carpet cleaning ring
● 2 pads
● Operating instructions
NOTE
►
Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defec-
tive packaging or during transport, contact the service hotline (see section
Service).
Unpacking
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.
♦ Remove all packaging materials and any fi lms and labels.

Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging
materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of
disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
►
If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment
in the event of a warranty claim.
Assembling the appliance
♦ Push the main unit 3 onto the connection nozzle 4 on the steam foot 5 and
press the main unit 3 down until the round catch clicks into place.
♦ Attach a pad 6 from below onto the steam foot 5.
NOTE
►
If you intend to clean carpeting with the steam mop, fi t the steam foot 5
onto the carpet ring p. Ensure that the carpet ring unlocking aid a is in
line with the connection nozzle 4. Push the steam foot 5 onto the carpet
ring p so that it clicks audibly into place. This will allow the pad 6 to
glide over the carpet.
► To remove the carpet ring p, press your foot onto the carpet ring release
aid a and pull the steam foot 5 carefully off the carpet ring p.
Handling and operation
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
appliance.
Filling with water
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
►
Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank 8!
The pump could overheat and be damaged!
1) Push the “Water tank” release button 9 downwards and simultaneously
pull the water tank 8 towards the rear and off the appliance with a tilt
movement.
2) Turn the water tank 8 and unscrew the cap.
3) Fill the water tank 8 with tap water up to the MAX mark.

NOTE
If the mains water in your location is rated as hard, it is recommended that
you mix the mains water with some distilled water. Otherwise, the jets for
the steam blast function could calcify (become blocked) prematurely.
To extend the optimal steam blast function, mix mains water with
distilled water according to the table:

The water hardness level can be queried at your local water works.
4) Attach and hand-tighten the clamp.
5) Turn the water tank 8 around again and place it back onto the main unit 3:
First fi t the lower part into the main unit 3 and then fl ip the top part into the
device. Push it fi rmly into place so that the water tank 8 audibly clicks into
place and sits fi rmly on the main unit 3.
Operation
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
►
If you are not sure whether the fl oor is suitable for cleaning, please carry
out a tolerance test using a concealed part of the fl oor.
► Always comply with the cleaning instructions of the carpet manufacturer.
Before cleaning, check also whether the carpet is suitable for steam clean-
ing.
► Never use the appliance without a pad 6 on the steam foot 5.
Otherwise the fl oor could get scratched!
► Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank 8!
The pump could overheat and be damaged!
NOTE
►
Before you clean the fl oor with the steam mop, we recommend that you
vacuum the fl oor to remove any loose particles of dirt.
Once the appliance is assembled and fi lled with water:
1) Press and hold in the “Handle” release button 1 and fl ip the handle up-
wards so that it clicks into place.

2) If not already done: Completely unwind the power cable from the cable
hooks z/i. To facilitate the unwinding of the cable, you can fl ip down the
upper cable hook z by pulling it out a little and turning it at the same time.
3) Run the cable through the notch t on the rear of the handle so that the
cable does not hang down into the working area.
4) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
5) Set the on/off switch u to “I”. The on/off switch u lights up, the red
POWER control lamp 0 fl ashes.
6) Use the MODE button e to select the desired level of steam generation:
– Press 1 x: low steam level, green control lamp w lights up.
– Press 2 x: high steam level, red control lamp q lights up.
– Press 3 x: no steam, standby, POWER control lamp 0 lights up.
NOTE
►
We recommend the high steam level especially for moisture- and heat-
resistant fl oor coverings, such as tiles.
► We recommend the low steam level especially for moisture- and heat-
sensitive fl oor coverings, such as parquet fl ooring.
7) Wait around 30 seconds while the appliance heats up.
8) Press the “Steam” button r. The appliance starts generating steam and,
after a short time, steam is emitted through the pad 6.
9) Wipe over the desired area.
If the water tank 8 becomes empty during use:
NOTE
►
Once the water tank 8 has been pumped empty, the pump will continue
running a little while until the empty water tank 8 is indicated by the simul-
taneous fl ashing of the red control lamp “high steam level” q, the green
control lamp “low steam level” w and POWER control lamp 0.
– Press the “Steam” button r again to stop steam production.
– Set the on/off switch u to “O”.
– Remove the water tank 8, fi ll it and replace the water tank 8 as
described in the section “Filling with water”.
– Set the on/off switch u to “I”.
– Select the desired steam level as described above and press the
“Steam” button r.

10) When you are fi nished treating all of the surfaces, press the “Steam”
button r to stop steam production.
11) Set the on/off switch u to “O”. The POWER control lamp 0 goes out.
12) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.
NOTE
►
If you see streaks on the fl oor after cleaning with the appliance, this may
be due to the previously used cleaning fl uids. Simply clean the fl oor again
using the steam mop. The smears should now be gone.
After use
1) Allow the appliance to cool down.
2) Remove the pad 6.
3) Remove the water tank 8 from the appliance and empty it.
4) Pull the upper cable hook z out a little and turn it back upwards.
Wind the cable back around the two cable hooks z/i.

■ Note the following washing instructions when you wash the pad 6 in the
washing machine:

■ If necessary, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use
a mild detergent on the cloth.
Maintenance/changing the fi lter
After 4–6 months or approximately 100 cleaning cycles (one cycle corresponds
to one water tank fi lling), you will need to change the fi lter 7. Please contact
our Service Department for replacement fi lters.

1) To remove the fi lter 7, fi rst remove the water tank 8 from the appliance.
2) Pull the fi lter 7 upwards out of the appliance.

■ Fold the handle by pressing the “Handle” release button 1.
■ Pull the upper cable hook z out a little and turn it back upwards.
Wind the cable back around the two cable hooks z/i.
■ Carry the appliance using the carrying handle 2.
■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free location.

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the begin-
ning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eff ected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifi cations / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Sicherheitshinweise
GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG!
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V
~

50/60 Hz an.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen, und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen
Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort
von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt werden kann.
► Sollte das Gerät beschädigt sein, benutzen Sie dieses nicht
weiter, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie erst den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie
das Gerät mit Wasser befüllen, reinigen oder Zubehörteile
wechseln.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen,

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich auf Fußböden aus
Marmor, Stein, Fliesen, Parkett oder Hartholz, welche behandelt
und wasserundurchlässig sind.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals...
– ... auf unbehandelten oder wasserdurchlässigen Fußböden,
– ... auf Glasoberfl ächen,
– ... auf weichen Kunststoff oberfl ächen,
– ... auf Böden, die mit Wachs behandelt sind,
– ... auf Teppichen mit Wollanteil.
► Beachten Sie stets die Reinigungshinweise des Teppichher-
stellers. Prüfen Sie vor Beginn der Reinigung zusätzlich, ob
der Teppich für die Dampfreinigung geeignet ist.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur auf Parkettboden, wenn dieser
hartversiegelt ist.
► Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht längere Zeit eingeschaltet auf
Holzfüßböden stehen. Das Holz könnte quellen.
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit leerem Wassertank.
Ansonsten kann die Pumpe leerlaufen und überhitzen.
► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates
Fernwirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes können
Personen- und Sachschäden auftreten!
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um die Gefahren
zu vermeiden:
► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet
werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert
(siehe Ausklappseite):

HINWEIS

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Auspacken
♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und eventuelle Folien und Aufkleber.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs-
materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
►
Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit
des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken
zu können.
Gerät montieren
♦ Schieben Sie die Haupteinheit 3 in die Verbindungstülle 4 am Dampff uß 5
und drücken Sie die Haupteinheit 3 soweit herunter, dass die runde Arretierung
einrastet.
♦ Kletten Sie ein Pad 6 von unten auf den Dampff uß 5.
HINWEIS
►
Wenn Sie Teppichböden mit dem Dampfmopp reinigen wollen, setzen Sie
den Dampff uß 5 auf den Teppichring p. Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass
die Teppichring-Entriegelungshilfe a in einer Linie mit der Verbindungstülle
4 liegt. Drücken Sie den Dampff uß 5 so auf den Teppichring p, sodass
dieser spürbar einrastet. So kann das Pad 6 über den Teppich gleiten.
► Um den Teppichring p zu entfernen, drücken Sie Ihren Fuß auf die Teppich-
ring-Entriegelungshilfe a und ziehen Sie den Dampff uß 5 vorsichtig vom
Teppichring p ab.

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des
Gerätes.
Wasser auff üllen
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
►
Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser im Wassertank 8! Die
Pumpe kann ansonsten heißlaufen und beschädigt werden!
1) Schieben Sie die Entriegelungstaste „Wassertank“ 9 nach unten und
ziehen Sie gleichzeitig den Wassertank 8 mit einer Kippbewegung nach
hinten aus dem Gerät.
2) Drehen Sie den Wassertank 8 um und schrauben Sie den Verschluss ab.

3) Füllen Sie Leitungswasser bis zur Markierung MAX auf dem Wassertank 8
ein.
HINWEIS
Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu hart sein, empfi ehlt es
sich, das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten
können die Düsen für die Dampfstoß-Funktion vorzeitig verkalken.
Zur Verlängerung der optimalen Dampfstoß-Funktion mischen Sie das
Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle:

Die Wasserhärte können Sie beim örtlichem Wasserwerk erfragen.
4) Schrauben Sie den Verschluss handfest auf.
5) Drehen Sie den Wassertank 8 wieder um setzen Sie diesen in die Haupt-
einheit 3 ein: Setzen Sie zuerst den unteren Teil in die Haupteinheit 3 und
kippen Sie dann den oberen Teil in das Gerät. Drücken Sie ihn fest an, so dass
der Wassertank 8 spürbar einrastet und fest in der Haupteinheit 3 sitzt.
Bedienen
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
►
Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, ob der Fußboden für die Reinigung geeignet ist,
testen Sie die Verträglichkeit vorab an einer versteckten Stelle.
► Beachten Sie stets die Reinigungshinweise des Teppichherstellers. Prüfen
Sie vor Beginn der Reinigung zusätzlich, ob der Teppich für die Dampfreini-
gung geeignet ist.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Pad 6 auf dem Dampff uß 5.
Ansonsten werden die Fußböden verkratzt!
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser im Wassertank 8!
Die Pumpe kann ansonsten heißlaufen und beschädigt werden!
HINWEIS
►
Bevor Sie den Fußboden mit dem Dampfmopp reinigen, empfehlen wir den
Fußboden vorher zu saugen, um lose Schmutzpartikel zu beseitigen.
Wenn das Gerät fertig montiert und Wasser eingefüllt ist:

1) Halten Sie die Entriegelungstaste „Griff “ 1 gedrückt und klappen Sie den
Griff nach oben, so dass dieser einrastet.
2) Falls noch nicht geschehen: Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollständig von den
Kabelhaken z/i. Zum leichten Abwickeln des Kabels können Sie den
oberen Kabelhaken z nach unten klappen, indem Sie diesen etwas heraus-
ziehen und gleichzeitig drehen.
3) Führen Sie das Netzkabel durch die Einkerbung t an der Rückseite des
Griff s, so dass das Netzkabel nicht im Arbeitsbereich hängt.
4) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.
5) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „I“. Der Ein-/Aus-Schalter u leuchtet,
die rote Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 blinkt.
6) Wählen Sie mit der Taste MODE e die gewünschte Intensität der Dampf-
erzeugung:
– 1 x drücken: wenig Dampferzeugung, grüne Kontrollleuchte w leuchtet.
– 2 x drücken: hohe Dampferzeugung, rote Kontrollleuchte q leuchtet.
– 3 x drücken: keine Dampferzeugung, Bereitschaftsbetrieb,
Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 leuchtet.
HINWEIS
► Die Dampfstufe mit der hohen Dampferzeugung empfehlen wir vor allem
für feuchtigkeits- und hitzeunempfi ndliche Bodenbeläge wie Fliesen.
► Die Dampfstufe mit der geringen Dampferzeugung empfehlen wir für feuch-
tigkeits- und hitzeempfi ndlichere Bodenbeläge wie z. B. Parkett.
7) Warten Sie ca. 30 Sekunden ab, in denen das Gerät aufheizt.
8) Drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r. Das Gerät beginnt mit der Dampferzeu-
gung und nach kurzer Zeit tritt Dampf durch das Pad 6.
9) Wischen Sie über die gewünschten Flächen.
HINWEIS
►
Wenn der Wassertank 8 leer gepumpt ist, läuft die Pumpe noch einige Zeit
nach, bis der leere Wassertank 8 durch gleichzeitiges Blinken der roten
Kontrollleuchte „hohe Dampfstärke“ q, der grüne Kontrollleuchte „geringe
Dampfstärke“ w und der Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 angezeigt wird.
Wenn während der Benutzung der Wassertank 8 leer ist:
– Drücken Sie erneut die Taste „Dampf“ r um die Dampfproduktion zu
stoppen.
– Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „O“.
– Entnehmen Sie den Wassertank 8, befüllen Sie diesen und setzen
Sie den Wassertank 8 wieder ein, wie im Kapitel „Wasser auff üllen“
beschrieben.

– Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „I“.
– Wählen Sie die gewünschte Dampfstärke wie oben beschrieben und
drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r.
10) Wenn Sie mit der Bearbeitung aller Flächen fertig sind, drücken Sie die
Taste „Dampf“ r um die Dampferzeugung zu stoppen.
11) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „O“. Die Kontrollleuchte POWER 0
erlischt.
12) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
HINWEIS
►
Wenn nach der Reinigung mit dem Gerät auf dem Boden Schlieren zu
sehen sind, kann das an den zuvor verwendeten Reinigungsmitteln liegen.
Reinigen Sie den Boden einfach erneut mit dem Dampfmopp. Die Schlieren
sollten dann verschwunden sein.
Nach dem Gebrauch
1) Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
2) Entfernen Sie das Pad 6.
3) Nehmen Sie den Wassertank 8 aus dem Gerät und entleeren Sie diesen.
4) Ziehen Sie den oberen Kabelhaken z ein wenig heraus und drehen Sie
diesen wieder nach oben. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die beiden
Kabelhaken z/i.
Fixieren Sie das Ende des Netzkabels mithilfe des Kabelclips, welcher sich
am Kabel befi ndet.

Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung der Oberfl ächen weder scharfe Scheuer- oder
chemischen Reinigungsmittel, noch spitze oder kratzende Gegenstände.
■ Entleeren Sie nach jedem Gebrauch den Wassertank 8.
■ Nehmen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch das Pad 6 vom Dampff uß 5 und
waschen Sie es aus.

■ Beachten Sie folgende Waschanweisungen, wenn Sie das Pad 6 in der
Waschmashine reinigen:

■ Wischen Sie bei Bedarf das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei hartnä-
ckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
Wartung/Filter wechseln
Nach 4 - 6 Monaten oder ca. 100 Reinigungszyklen (ein Zyklus entspricht einer
Wassertankfüllung), muss der Filter 7 gewechselt werden. Bitte wenden Sie sich
für Ersatzfi lter an unseren Service.

Ziehen Sie vor dem Wechsel des Filters 7 den Netzstecker!
1) Zum Entfernen des Filters 7, nehmen Sie zuerst den Wassertank 8 aus

3) Setzen Sie den neuen Filter 7 ein.

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von
Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetz-
liche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original-
Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material-
oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen-
dung und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Uso previsto Este aparato está diseñado exclusivamente para la limpieza de suelos en espacios interiores. Cualquier uso diferente o que supere lo indicado se considerará contrario al uso previsto. El aparato no está previsto para su uso comercial o industrial. Se excluyen las reclamaciones de cualquier tipo a causa de daños producidos por un uso contrario a lo dispuesto, reparaciones incorrectas, modificaciones no autorizadas o el uso de piezas de repuesto no autorizadas. El riesgo será responsabilidad exclusiva del usuario. ■ 2 │ ES SDM 1500 C2 Indicaciones de seguridad ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA! Conecte el aparato exclusivamente a una base de enchufe instalada conforme a la normativa y con una tensión de red de 220 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz. En caso de errores de funcionamiento y antes de limpiar el aparato, extraiga la clavija de la base de enchufe. Extraiga siempre el cable de red de la base de enchufe tirando de la clavija y no del propio cable. No doble ni aplaste el cable de red y tiéndalo de modo que nadie pueda pisarlo ni tropezar con él. Si la clavija de red o el cable de red están dañados, encomiende su sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al servicio de asistencia técnica con el fin de evitar riesgos. No permita que el cable de red se moje o humedezca mientras el aparato esté en funcionamiento. Tienda el cable de forma que no se dañe ni quede aprisionado durante el manejo. Si el aparato está dañado, no deberá continuar utilizándolo para evitar riesgos. Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe antes de reponer agua o de limpiar o cambiar los accesorios. Utilice el aparato únicamente en espacios secos, no al aire libre. ¡No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos! No dirija nunca el vapor directamente sobre aparatos eléctricos o dispositivos que contengan componentes eléctricos, como el interior de un horno. De este modo, se reduce el peligro de descarga eléctrica si se produce algún fallo. No oriente nunca el aparato hacia objetos sensibles a la humedad. Este aparato puede ser utilizado por personas cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales sean reducidas o carezcan de los conocimientos y de la experiencia necesaria siempre que sean vigiladas o hayan sido instruidas correctamente sobre el uso seguro del aparato y hayan comprendido los peligros que entraña. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. Los niños no deben realizar las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento del aparato sin supervisión. ¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡PELIGRO DE LESIONES! Utilice exclusivamente el aparato sobre suelos de mármol, piedra, baldosas, parqué o madera dura que hayan sido tratados y sean impermeables al agua. Nunca utilice el aparato en las siguientes circunstancias: – ... sobre suelos no tratados o permeables, – ... sobre superficies de cristal, – ... sobre superficies de plástico blandas, – ... sobre suelos encerados, – ... sobre alfombras o moquetas con un porcentaje de lana en el tejido. Observe siempre las indicaciones de limpieza del fabricante de la alfombra/moqueta. Antes de proceder a la limpieza, compruebe también si la alfombra/moqueta es apta para su limpieza con vapor. Utilice exclusivamente el aparato sobre suelos de parqué si están sellados. No deje el aparato mucho tiempo encendido sobre un suelo de madera, ya que la madera podría hincharse. No ponga nunca el aparato en funcionamiento con el depósito de agua vacío. De lo contrario, la bomba podría trabajar en vacío y sobrecalentarse. No utilice ningún tipo de reloj programador externo ni sistema de control remoto para accionar el aparato. No deje nunca el aparato desatendido durante su funcionamiento. Volumen de suministro e inspección de transporte El aparato se suministra de serie con los siguientes componentes (consulte la página desplegable): ● Unidad principal ● Base de la mopa ● Aro para la limpieza de alfombras/moquetas ● 2 mopas ● Instrucciones de uso INDICACIÓN ► Compruebe la integridad del suministro y si hay daños visibles. ► Si el suministro está incompleto o se observan daños debido a un embalaje deficiente o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia técnica). Desembalaje ♦ Extraiga todas las piezas del aparato y las instrucciones de uso de la caja. ♦ Retire el resto de material de embalaje, así como las posibles láminas y adhesivos. SDM 1500 C2 ES│ 7 ■ Desecho del embalaje El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de desecho, por lo que es reciclable. El reciclaje del embalaje permite ahorrar en materias primas y reduce el volumen de residuos. Deseche el material de embalaje innecesario de la forma dispuesta por las normativas locales aplicables. INDICACIÓN ► Si es posible, conserve el embalaje original durante el periodo de garantía del aparato para poder empaquetarlo correctamente en caso de una reclamación conforme a la garantía. Montaje del aparato ♦ Inserte la unidad principal 3 en el inserto de conexión 4 de la base de la mopa 5 y presione la unidad principal 3 hacia abajo hasta que el encastre circular encaje. ♦ Coloque una mopa 6 en la base de la mopa 5 desde abajo. INDICACIÓN ► Si desea limpiar suelos con alfombras/moquetas con la mopa de vapor, coloque la base de la mopa 5 sobre el aro para alfombras p. Para ello, asegúrese de que el desencastre del aro para alfombras a quede alineado con el inserto de conexión 4. Presione la base de la mopa 5 contra el aro para alfombras p hasta que sienta que encastre. Tras esto, podrá pasarse la mopa 6 por la alfombra/moqueta. ► Para retirar el aro para alfombras p, pise el desencastre del aro para alfombras a y tire cuidadosamente de la base de la mopa 5 para extraerla del aro para alfombras p. Manejo y funcionamiento En este capítulo, se proporcionan indicaciones importantes sobre el manejo y funcionamiento del aparato. Llenado de agua ¡ATENCIÓN: DAÑOS MATERIALES! ► ¡No utilice nunca el aparato sin agua en el depósito de agua 8! De lo contrario, la bomba podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse. 1) Desplace el botón de desbloqueo “depósito de agua” 9 hacia abajo y tire al mismo tiempo del depósito de agua 8 inclinándolo hacia atrás para extraerlo del aparato. 2) Dé la vuelta al depósito de agua 8 y desenrosque el cierre. ■ 8 │ ES SDM 1500 C2 3) Llene el depósito de agua 8 hasta la marca MAX con agua corriente. INDICACIÓN Si el agua corriente de su lugar de residencia es muy dura, es recomendable mezclarla con agua destilada. De lo contrario, podrían formarse prematuramente restos de cal en las boquillas del chorro de vapor. Para mantener la función del chorro de vapor en perfecto estado durante más tiempo, mezcle el agua corriente con agua destilada según lo dispuesto en la tabla. Dureza del agua Proporción del agua destilada en relación con el agua corriente Muy blanda/blanda 0 Media 1:1 Dura 2:1 Muy dura 3:1 Puede informarse sobre la dureza del agua en la central de abastecimiento de agua local. 4) Enrosque el cierre firmemente con la mano. 5) Vuelva a dar la vuelta al depósito de agua 8 e insértelo en la unidad principal 3: Coloque primero la parte inferior en la unidad principal 3 y, después, incline la parte superior hacia el aparato. Presione firmemente hasta que el depósito de agua 8 encastre de forma audible y quede bien asentado en la unidad principal 3. Manejo ¡ATENCIÓN: DAÑOS MATERIALES! ► Si no está seguro de si el suelo es apto para la limpieza, compruebe su compatibilidad con antelación en una zona menos visible. ► Observe siempre las indicaciones de limpieza del fabricante de la alfombra/moqueta. Antes de proceder a la limpieza, compruebe también si la alfombra/moqueta es apta para su limpieza con vapor. ► No utilice nunca el aparato sin la mopa 6 sobre la base de la mopa 5. ¡De lo contrario, arañará el suelo! ► ¡No utilice nunca el aparato sin agua en el depósito de agua 8! De lo contrario, la bomba podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse. INDICACIÓN ► Antes de limpiar el suelo con la mopa a vapor, recomendamos que lo aspire para eliminar las partículas sueltas de polvo. SDM 1500 C2 ES│ 9 ■ Una vez el aparato esté bien montado y lleno de agua, realice lo siguiente: 1) Mantenga pulsado el botón de desbloqueo “mango” 1 y abata el mango hacia arriba para que encastre. 2) Si aún no lo ha hecho: desenrolle completamente el cable de red de los ganchos para el cable z/ i. Para desenrollar el cable con mayor facilidad, puede abatir el gancho superior para el cable z hacia abajo con solo tirar ligeramente de este y girarlo al mismo tiempo. 3) Introduzca el cable de red a través de la ranura t de la parte trasera del mango para que no quede colgando en la zona de trabajo. 4) Conecte la clavija de red a la base de enchufe. 5) Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en la posición de encendido “I”. El interruptor de encendido/apagado u se ilumina y el piloto de control rojo POWER 0 parpadea. 6) Seleccione la intensidad deseada para el vapor con el botón MODE e: – 1 pulsación: poco vapor, se enciende el piloto de control verde w. – 2 pulsaciones: mucho vapor, se enciende el piloto de control rojo q. – 3 pulsaciones: no se genera vapor, modo de espera, se enciende el piloto de control POWER 0. INDICACIÓN ► Recomendamos el nivel de vapor más alto, sobre todo, para suelos revestidos con un material resistente a la humedad y al calor, como las baldosas. ► Recomendamos el nivel de vapor más bajo para suelos revestidos con un material sensible a la humedad y al calor, como, p. ej., el parqué. 7) Espere unos 30 segundos a que se caliente el aparato. 8) Pulse el botón "vapor" r. El aparato comenzará a generar vapor y, tras un breve periodo de tiempo, saldrá vapor por la mopa 6. 9) Limpie las superficies deseadas. Si, durante el uso, se vacía el depósito de agua 8, haga lo siguiente: INDICACIÓN ► Cuando se vacía el depósito de agua 8, la bomba sigue funcionando durante un tiempo hasta que se indica que el depósito de agua 8 está vacío mediante el parpadeo simultáneo del piloto de control rojo “vapor de alta intensidad” q, del piloto de control verde “vapor de baja intensidad” w y del piloto de control POWER 0. – Vuelva a pulsar la tecla "vapor" r para detener la generación de vapor. – Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en “O”. – Retire el depósito de agua 8, llénelo y vuelva a colocar el depósito de agua 8 de la manera descrita en el capítulo "Llenado de agua". ■ 10 │ ES SDM 1500 C2 – Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en la posición de encendido “I”. – Seleccione la intensidad del vapor deseada de la manera descrita y pulse el botón "vapor" r. 10) Cuando haya finalizado la limpieza, pulse el botón "vapor" r para detener la generación de vapor. 11) Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado u en “O”. A continuación, se apaga el piloto de control POWER 0. 12) Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe. INDICACIÓN ► Si, tras la limpieza con el aparato, se aprecian marcas en el suelo, puede deberse a los productos de limpieza utilizados anteriormente. Basta con que vuelva a limpiar el suelo con la mopa a vapor. Tras hacerlo, deberían desaparecer las marcas. Después de su uso 1) Deje que el aparato se enfríe. 2) Retire la mopa 6. 3) Extraiga el depósito de agua 8 del aparato y vacíelo. 4) Tire ligeramente del gancho superior para el cable z hacia fuera y vuélvalo a girar hacia arriba. Enrolle el cable de red alrededor de los dos ganchos para el cable z/i. Fije el extremo del cable de red por medio del clip para el cable que se encuentra en él. Limpieza y mantenimiento ¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA! ► ¡Antes de proceder a la limpieza, extraiga la clavija de red! ¡ADVERTENCIA: PELIGRO DE LESIONES! ► Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. ¡Peligro de quemaduras! ¡ATENCIÓN - DAÑOS MATERIALES! ► Para la limpieza de las superficies, no utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos ni químicos ni objetos afilados o que puedan provocar arañazos. ■ Vacíe el depósito de agua 8 después de cada uso. ■ Después de cada uso, retire la mopa 6 de la base de la mopa 5 y lávela. SDM 1500 C2 ES│ 11 ■ ■ Observe las siguientes indicaciones de lavado para la limpieza de la mopa 6 en la lavadora: Lave la mopa a un máx. de 60°. No seque la mopa en la secadora. No planche la mopa. ■ En caso necesario, limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. En caso de suciedad incrustada, añada al paño un producto de limpieza suave. Mantenimiento/cambio del filtro Tras 4-6 meses o aprox. 100 ciclos de limpieza (un ciclo se corresponde con un llenado del depósito de agua), debe cambiarse el filtro 7. Le rogamos que se dirija a nuestro servicio de asistencia técnica para obtener un filtro de repuesto. ¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA! ► ¡Antes de cambiar el filtro 7, extraiga siempre la clavija de red! 1) Para retirar el filtro 7, extraiga primero el depósito de agua 8 del aparato. 2) Tire del filtro 7 hacia arriba para retirarlo del aparato. 3) Inserte el nuevo filtro 7. 4) Inserte el depósito de agua 8. ■ 12 │ ES SDM 1500 C2 Eliminación de fallos Programa Posibles causas Posibles soluciones El aparato no funciona. SDM 1500 C2 ES│ 13 ■ Almacenamiento ■ Para abatir el mango, pulse el botón de desbloqueo "mango" 1. ■ Tire ligeramente del gancho superior para el cable z hacia fuera y vuélvalo a girar hacia arriba. Enrolle el cable de red alrededor de los dos ganchos para el cable z/i. ■ Sujete el aparato por el mango de transporte 2. ■ Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco y sin polvo. Desecho No deseche nunca el aparato con la basura doméstica. Este producto está sujeto a la Directiva europea 2012/19/EU-RAEE (residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos). Deseche el aparato en un centro de residuos autorizado o a través de las instalaciones de desecho de residuos comunitarias. Observe las normas vigentes. Collegare l'apparecchio a una presa installata a norma con tensione di rete di 220 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz. In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente. Disconnettere la spina dalla presa tirando sempre dalla spina, mai dal cavo. Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di alimentazione e posizionarlo in modo che non sia d'intralcio o d'inciampo. Al fine di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente spine o cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato o dal centro di assistenza clienti. Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità. Posarlo in modo tale da impedire che si incastri o danneggi. Utilizzare l'apparecchio esclusivamente su pavimenti in marmo, pietra, piastrelle, parquet o legno duro che sono trattati e impermeabili. Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio... – ... su pavimenti non trattati o permeabili all'acqua, – ... su superfici di vetro, – ... su superfici di plastica morbide, – ... su pavimenti trattati con cera, – ... su tappeti con percentuale di lana. Osservare sempre le indicazioni per la pulizia fornite dal produttore di tappeti e moquettes. Prima di iniziare la pulizia verificare inoltre se il tappeto o moquette è adatto per la pulitura a vapore. Utilizzare l'apparecchio sul parquet solo se è sigillato saldamente. Durante la messa in funzione dell'apparecchio possono verificarsi danni personali e materiali! Rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza, per evitare i pericoli: ► Il materiale di imballaggio non deve venire utilizzato come giocattolo. Pericolo di soffocamento. Volume della fornitura e ispezione per eventuali danni da trasporto La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti (vedi pagina apribile): ● Unità principale ● Testa vapore ● Anello pulizia per tappeti ● 2 panni ● Manuale di istruzioni AVVERTENZA ► Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili. ► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza (vedere capitolo Assistenza). Disimballaggio ♦ Rimuovere dal cartone tutte le parti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni. ♦ Rimuovere tutto il materiale di imballaggio ed eventuali pellicole e adesivi. I materiali di imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili. Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità alle norme vigenti locali. AVVERTENZA ► Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, se possibile, conservare l'imballaggio originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di intervento in garanzia. Montaggio dell'apparecchio ♦ Infilare l'unità principale 3 nel beccuccio di collegamento 4 sulla testa vapore 5 e premere l'unità principale 3 verso il basso fino a farla innestare nel blocco rotondo. ♦ Fissare un panno 6 dal basso sulla testa vapore 5. AVVERTENZA ► Se si desidera pulire moquette con il lavapavimenti a vapore, collocare la testa vapore 5 sull’anello per tappeti p. Nel far questo badare che l’ausilio di sblocco anello per tappeti a sia allineato al beccuccio di collegamento 4. Infilare la testa vapore 5 sull’anello per tappeti p esercitando pressione in modo tale che quest’ultimo si innesti in posizione. In tal modo il panno 6 può scivolare sulla moquette e tappeti. ► Per rimuovere l’anello per tappeti p premere con il piede l’ausilio di sblocco anello per tappeti a e sfilare con cautela la testa vapore 5 dall’anello per tappeti p. Comandi e funzionamento In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al funzionamento dell'apparecchio. Riempimento dell'acqua ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI! ► Non azionare mai l'apparecchio senza acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8! La pompa può altrimenti diventare bollente e danneggiarsi! 1) Spingere il tasto di sblocco “Serbatoio dell’acqua” 9 verso il basso e ribaltandolo sfilare contemporaneamente il serbatoio dell’acqua 8 dal lato posteriore dell’apparecchio. 2) Ruotare il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 e svitare la chiusura. ■ 26 │ IT│MT SDM 1500 C2 3) Aggiungere acqua corrente fino alla tacca MAX nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8. AVVERTENZA Nel caso in cui l'acqua di rubinetto nella regione in cui si risiede fosse troppo dura, si consiglia di mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua distillata. Altrimenti gli ugelli per la funzione getto di vapore potrebbero calcificarsi precocemente. Per prolungare in modo ottimale la funzione getto di vapore, mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua distillata seguendo le indicazioni della tabella. Durezza dell'acqua Percentuale acqua distillata rispetto ad acqua corrente molto morbida/morbida 0 media 1:1 dura 2:1 molto dura 3:1 Il valore di durezza dell'acqua può essere richiesto presso l'acquedotto municipale. 4) Avvitare saldamente la chiusura. 5) Voltare di nuovo il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 e inserirlo nell'unità principale 3: dapprima innestare la parte inferiore nell'unità principale 3 e ribaltare poi la parte superiore nell'apparecchio. Premerlo saldamente in modo che il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 si innesti con un clic e si attesti saldamente nell'unità principale 3. Uso ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI! ► Se si è sicuri se il pavimento sia o meno idoneo per la pulizia, verificarne prima la compatibilità in un punto nascosto. ► Osservare sempre le indicazioni per la pulizia fornite dal produttore di tappeti e moquettes. Prima di iniziare la pulizia verificare inoltre se il tappeto o moquette è adatto per la pulitura a vapore. ► Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio senza panno 6 sulla testa vapore 5. Altrimenti i pavimenti si graffiano! ► Non azionare mai l'apparecchio senza acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8! La pompa può altrimenti diventare bollente e danneggiarsi! AVVERTENZA ► Prima di pulire il pavimento con il lavapavimenti a vapore, consigliamo di aspirare il pavimento per eliminare le particelle di sporco sciolte. Quando l'apparecchio è pronto e riempito con acqua: SDM 1500 C2 IT│MT │ 27 ■ 1) Tenere premuto il tasto di sblocco “Maniglia” 1 e ribaltare la maniglia verso l’alto in modo che si innesti in posizione. 2) Se non è ancora stato fatto: Svolgere sempre completamente il cavo di rete dai rispettivi ganci z/i. Per svolgere il cavo più facilmente si può ribaltare il gancio superiore z verso il basso estraendolo leggermente e contemporaneamente ruotandolo. 3) Guidare il cavo di rete attraverso l'intaglio t sul retro della maniglia in modo che il cavo di rete non sia appeso nella zona di lavoro. 4) Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente. 5) Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “I”. L'interruttore ON/OFF u si accende, la spia di controllo rossa POWER 0 lampeggia. 6) Scegliere con il tasto MODE e l'intensità desiderata della produzione di vapore: – premere 1 volta: produzione di poco vapore, la spia di controllo verde w si accende. – premere 2 volte: produzione di molto vapore, la spia di controllo rossa q si accende. – premere 3 volte: nessuna produzione di vapore, stato di pronto, spia di controllo POWER 0 si accende. AVVERTENZA ► Il livello di vapore con produzione di molto vapore è consigliabile soprattutto per pavimenti insensibili all'umidità e al calore come le piastrelle. ► Il livello di vapore con produzione di poco vapore è consigliabile per pavimenti sensibili all'umidità e al calore come ad esempio il parquet. 7) Attendere circa 30 secondi, per far riscaldare l'apparecchio. 8) Premere il tasto "Vapore" r. L'apparecchio inizia a produrre vapore e dopo poco tempo fuoriesce il vapore dal panno 6. 9) Strofinare le superficie desiderate. Se durante l'uso il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 è vuoto: AVVERTENZA ► Quando il serbatoio dell’acqua 8 è completamente svuotato, la pompa continua ancora a funzionare per qualche tempo fino a quando il serbatoio dell’acqua 8 non viene visualizzato tramite il contemporaneo lampeggio della spia di controllo rossa “Forte intensità di vapore” q, della spia di controllo verde “Bassa intensità di vapore” w e della spia di controllo POWER 0. – premere il tasto "Vapore" r per fermare la produzione di vapore. – Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “O”. – Rimuovere il serbatoio dell'acqua 8, riempirlo e reinsere il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 come descritto nel capitolo "Riempimento dell'acqua". ■ 28 │ IT│MT SDM 1500 C2 – Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “I”. – Scegliere l'intensità di vapore desiderata come descritto sopra e premere il tasto "Vapore" r. 10) Una volta ultimato il trattamento di tutte le superfici, premere il tasto "Vapore" r per fermare la produzione di vapore. 11) Impostare l'interruttore On/Off u su “O”. La spia di controllo POWER 0 si spegne. 12) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente. AVVERTENZA ► Se dopo la pulizia con l'apparecchio dovessero essere visibili delle striature, questo può dipendere dai detergenti precedentemente usati. Basta pulire il pavimento di nuovo con il lavapavimenti a vapore. Le striature dovrebbero scomparire. Dopo l'uso 1) Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio. 2) Rimuovere il panno 6. 3) Estrarre il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 dall'apparecchio e svuotarlo. 4) Tirare il gancio superiore del cavo z leggermente verso l'esterno e ruotarlo ancora verso l'alto. Riavvolgere il cavo intorno ai due ganci del cavo z/i. Fissare l'estremità del cavo di rete con la clip per cavi che si trova sul cavo. Pulizia e manutenzione PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE! ► Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente! AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI! ► Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima di pulirlo. pericolo di ustioni! ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI ► Per pulire le superfici non utilizzare né detergenti aggressivi, corrosivi o chimici né oggetti acuminati o graffianti. ■ Dopo ogni uso svuotare il serbatoio dell'acqua 8. ■ Dopo ogni uso rimuovere il panno 6 dalla testa vapore 5 e lavarlo. SDM 1500 C2 IT│MT │ 29 ■ ■ Attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni di lavaggio se si lava il panno 6 in lavatrice: lavare al max a 60° non asciugare nell'asciugatrice non stirare ■ Se necessario pulire l'apparecchio con un panno umido. In caso di sporco resistente, versare un po' di detergente delicato sul panno. Manutenzione/Sostituzione filtro Dopo 4 - 6 mesi o circa 100 cicli di pulizia (un ciclo corrisponde a un riempimento del serbatoio dell'acqua), si deve sostituire il filtro 7. Per il filtro di ricambio rivolgersi all'assistenza. PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE! ► Prima di sostituire il filtro 7 estrarre la spina dalla presa di rete! 1) Per rimuovere il filtro 7, estrarre dapprima il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 dall'apparecchio. 2) Tirare il filtro 7 verso l'alto per estrarlo dall'apparecchio. 3) Inserire il nuovo filtro 7. 4) Inserire il serbatoio dell'acqua 8. ■ 30 │ IT│MT SDM 1500 C2 Eliminazione di guasti Programma Possibili cause Possibili soluzioni L'apparecchio non funziona. La spina non è collegata. Collegare l'apparecchio a una presa di rete. Il tasto "Vapore" r non è premuto. Premere il tasto "Vapore" r. Il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 è privo d'acqua. Versare acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8. Il filtro 7 è ostruito. Sostituire il filtro 7. Non è selezionata alcuna intensità di vapore. Scegliere con il tasto MODE e l'intensità di vapore desiderata. Il serbatoio dell'acqua 8 è privo d'acqua. Versare acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua 8. Si è depositato del calcare. Strofinare per rimuovere i depositi di calcolare con un panno umido. Se necessario versare un po' di anticalcare sul panno. L'apparecchio non genera vapore. La pompa genera insoliti rumori. Si è formato un bordo biancastro sul pavimento dove l'apparecchio è rimasto brevemente fermo durante l'uso. SDM 1500 C2 IT│MT │ 31 ■ Conservazione ■ Girare la maniglia, premendo il tasto di sblocco "Maniglia" 1. ■ Tirare il gancio superiore del cavo z leggermente verso l'esterno e ruotarlo ancora verso l'alto. Riavvolgere il cavo intorno ai due ganci del cavo z/i. ■ Prendere l'apparecchio dalla maniglia di trasporto 2. ■ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto e privo di polvere. Smaltimento Non gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali rifiuti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea RAEE 2012/19/EU (Rifiuti da Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche). Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o dall'ente di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. Intended use This appliance is intended exclusively for cleaning indoor floors. The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the scope described. The appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modifications or the use of unapproved replacement parts. The operator bears sole liability. ■ 38 │ GB│MT SDM 1500 C2 Safety instructions ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a mains power voltage of 220 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz. In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket. To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the socket, do not pull the power cable itself. Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over. To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department. Make sure that the power cable does not become wet or damp during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged. To prevent risks, stop using the appliance immediately if it is damaged. Disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket before filling it with water, changing accessories or cleaning it. Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not outdoors. Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! Never aim the steam jet directly at electrical appliances or equipment which contains electrical components, such as the interior of ovens. This will help reduce the effect of an electric shock in the event of a malfunction. Never aim the appliance at moisture-sensitive objects. This appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not use the appliance as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised. WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! This symbol warns you about escaping steam. Please follow the safety instructions! ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE! Use the appliance only on floors made of marble, stone, tile, parquet flooring or hardwood that have been treated and are impervious to water. Never use the appliance ... – ... on untreated or permeable floors, – ... on glass surfaces, – ... on soft plastic surfaces, – ... on floors that have been treated with wax, – ... on carpets with wool content. Always comply with the cleaning instructions of the carpet manufacturer. Before cleaning, check also whether the carpet is suitable for steam cleaning. Use the appliance only on parquet floors if they have been hard-sealed. Do not leave the appliance standing on wooden floors for any length of time while it is switched on. This might cause the wood to swell. Do not operate the appliance with an empty water tank. Otherwise, the pump could run dry and overheat. Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote control system to operate the appliance. Never leave the appliance unattended during operation. Do not use the appliance outdoors. To avoid risks, observe the following safety instructions: ► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation. Package contents and transport inspection The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard (see foldout page): ● Main unit ● Steam foot ● Carpet cleaning ring ● 2 pads ● Operating instructions NOTE ► Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage. ► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defective packaging or during transport, contact the service hotline (see section Service). Unpacking ♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box. ♦ Remove all packaging materials and any films and labels. SDM 1500 C2 GB│MT │ 43 ■ Disposal of packaging materials The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations. NOTE ► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment in the event of a warranty claim. Assembling the appliance ♦ Push the main unit 3 onto the connection nozzle 4 on the steam foot 5 and press the main unit 3 down until the round catch clicks into place. ♦ Attach a pad 6 from below onto the steam foot 5. NOTE ► If you intend to clean carpeting with the steam mop, fit the steam foot 5 onto the carpet ring p. Ensure that the carpet ring unlocking aid a is in line with the connection nozzle 4. Push the steam foot 5 onto the carpet ring p so that it clicks audibly into place. This will allow the pad 6 to glide over the carpet. ► To remove the carpet ring p, press your foot onto the carpet ring release aid a and pull the steam foot 5 carefully off the carpet ring p. Handling and operation This section provides you with important information on handling and using the appliance. Filling with water CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE! ► Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank 8! The pump could overheat and be damaged! 1) Push the “Water tank” release button 9 downwards and simultaneously pull the water tank 8 towards the rear and off the appliance with a tilt movement. 2) Turn the water tank 8 and unscrew the cap. 3) Fill the water tank 8 with tap water up to the MAX mark. ■ 44 │ GB│MT SDM 1500 C2 NOTE If the mains water in your location is rated as hard, it is recommended that you mix the mains water with some distilled water. Otherwise, the jets for the steam blast function could calcify (become blocked) prematurely. To extend the optimal steam blast function, mix mains water with distilled water according to the table: Water hardness Ratio of distilled water to tap water very soft/soft 0 medium 1:1 hard 2:1 very hard 3:1 The water hardness level can be queried at your local water works. 4) Attach and hand-tighten the clamp. 5) Turn the water tank 8 around again and place it back onto the main unit 3: First fit the lower part into the main unit 3 and then flip the top part into the device. Push it firmly into place so that the water tank 8 audibly clicks into place and sits firmly on the main unit 3. Operation CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE! ► If you are not sure whether the floor is suitable for cleaning, please carry out a tolerance test using a concealed part of the floor. ► Always comply with the cleaning instructions of the carpet manufacturer. Before cleaning, check also whether the carpet is suitable for steam cleaning. ► Never use the appliance without a pad 6 on the steam foot 5. Otherwise the floor could get scratched! ► Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank 8! The pump could overheat and be damaged! NOTE ► Before you clean the floor with the steam mop, we recommend that you vacuum the floor to remove any loose particles of dirt. Once the appliance is assembled and filled with water: 1) Press and hold in the “Handle” release button 1 and flip the handle upwards so that it clicks into place. SDM 1500 C2 GB│MT │ 45 ■ 2) If not already done: Completely unwind the power cable from the cable hooks z/i. To facilitate the unwinding of the cable, you can flip down the upper cable hook z by pulling it out a little and turning it at the same time. 3) Run the cable through the notch t on the rear of the handle so that the cable does not hang down into the working area. 4) Insert the plug into the mains power socket. 5) Set the on/off switch u to “I”. The on/off switch u lights up, the red POWER control lamp 0 flashes. 6) Use the MODE button e to select the desired level of steam generation: – Press 1 x: low steam level, green control lamp w lights up. – Press 2 x: high steam level, red control lamp q lights up. – Press 3 x: no steam, standby, POWER control lamp 0 lights up. NOTE ► We recommend the high steam level especially for moisture- and heatresistant floor coverings, such as tiles. ► We recommend the low steam level especially for moisture- and heatsensitive floor coverings, such as parquet flooring. 7) Wait around 30 seconds while the appliance heats up. 8) Press the “Steam” button r. The appliance starts generating steam and, after a short time, steam is emitted through the pad 6. 9) Wipe over the desired area. If the water tank 8 becomes empty during use: NOTE ► Once the water tank 8 has been pumped empty, the pump will continue running a little while until the empty water tank 8 is indicated by the simultaneous flashing of the red control lamp “high steam level” q, the green control lamp “low steam level” w and POWER control lamp 0. – Press the “Steam” button r again to stop steam production. – Set the on/off switch u to “O”. – Remove the water tank 8, fill it and replace the water tank 8 as described in the section “Filling with water”. – Set the on/off switch u to “I”. – Select the desired steam level as described above and press the “Steam” button r. ■ 46 │ GB│MT SDM 1500 C2 10) When you are finished treating all of the surfaces, press the “Steam” button r to stop steam production. 11) Set the on/off switch u to “O”. The POWER control lamp 0 goes out. 12) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket. NOTE ► If you see streaks on the floor after cleaning with the appliance, this may be due to the previously used cleaning fluids. Simply clean the floor again using the steam mop. The smears should now be gone. After use 1) Allow the appliance to cool down. 2) Remove the pad 6. 3) Remove the water tank 8 from the appliance and empty it. 4) Pull the upper cable hook z out a little and turn it back upwards. Wind the cable back around the two cable hooks z/i. Fix the end of the power cable using the cable clip located on the cable. Cleaning and care RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! ► Always remove the mains power plug before cleaning the appliance! WARNING – RISK OF INJURY! ► Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Risk of burns! CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE ► When cleaning the surfaces use neither abrasive or chemical cleaners, nor sharp or scratchy objects. ■ Empty the water tank 8 after every use. ■ After each use, remove the pad 6 from the steam foot 5 and wash it out. SDM 1500 C2 GB│MT │ 47 ■ ■ Note the following washing instructions when you wash the pad 6 in the washing machine: Wash at max. 60°C Do not tumble dry Do not iron ■ If necessary, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. Maintenance/changing the filter After 4–6 months or approximately 100 cleaning cycles (one cycle corresponds to one water tank filling), you will need to change the filter 7. Please contact our Service Department for replacement filters. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! ► Before changing the filter 7, always pull out the mains plug! 1) To remove the filter 7, first remove the water tank 8 from the appliance. 2) Pull the filter 7 upwards out of the appliance. 3) Insert the new filter 7. 4) Replace the water tank 8. ■ 48 │ GB│MT SDM 1500 C2 Troubleshooting Programme Possible causes Possible solutions The appliance is not working. The plug is not connected. Connect the appliance to a mains power socket. The "Steam" button r has not been pressed. Press the "Steam" button r. There is no water in the water tank 8. Fill the water tank 8 with tap water. The filter 7 is blocked. Change the filter 7. No steam setting has been selected. Use the MODE button e to select the desired level of steam. There is no water in the water tank 8. Fill the water tank 8 with tap water. Lime has collected. Wipe the limescale away with a damp cloth. If necessary, add a little descaler onto the cloth. The appliance produces no steam. The pump makes unusually loud noises. A whitish edge forms on the floor when the appliance stops briefly during operation. SDM 1500 C2 GB│MT │ 49 ■ Storage ■ Fold the handle by pressing the “Handle” release button 1. ■ Pull the upper cable hook z out a little and turn it back upwards. Wind the cable back around the two cable hooks z/i. ■ Carry the appliance using the carrying handle 2. ■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free location. Disposal Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below. Warranty conditions The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase. If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence. Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz an. Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen, und bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst. Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann. Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden kann. Sollte das Gerät beschädigt sein, benutzen Sie dieses nicht weiter, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Ziehen Sie erst den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät mit Wasser befüllen, reinigen oder Zubehörteile wechseln. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen, nicht im Freien. Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um die Gefahren zu vermeiden: ► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr. Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert (siehe Ausklappseite): ● Haupteinheit ● Dampffuß ● Teppichreinigungsring ● 2 Pads ● Bedienungsanleitung HINWEIS ► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden. ► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service). Auspacken ♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton. ♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und eventuelle Folien und Aufkleber. SDM 1500 C2 DE│AT│CH │ 61 ■ Entsorgung der Verpackung Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar. Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften. HINWEIS ► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können. Gerät montieren ♦ Schieben Sie die Haupteinheit 3 in die Verbindungstülle 4 am Dampffuß 5 und drücken Sie die Haupteinheit 3 soweit herunter, dass die runde Arretierung einrastet. ♦ Kletten Sie ein Pad 6 von unten auf den Dampffuß 5. HINWEIS ► Wenn Sie Teppichböden mit dem Dampfmopp reinigen wollen, setzen Sie den Dampffuß 5 auf den Teppichring p. Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass die Teppichring-Entriegelungshilfe a in einer Linie mit der Verbindungstülle 4 liegt. Drücken Sie den Dampffuß 5 so auf den Teppichring p, sodass dieser spürbar einrastet. So kann das Pad 6 über den Teppich gleiten. ► Um den Teppichring p zu entfernen, drücken Sie Ihren Fuß auf die Teppichring-Entriegelungshilfe a und ziehen Sie den Dampffuß 5 vorsichtig vom Teppichring p ab. Bedienung und Betrieb In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des Gerätes. Wasser auffüllen ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN! ► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser im Wassertank 8! Die Pumpe kann ansonsten heißlaufen und beschädigt werden! 1) Schieben Sie die Entriegelungstaste „Wassertank“ 9 nach unten und ziehen Sie gleichzeitig den Wassertank 8 mit einer Kippbewegung nach hinten aus dem Gerät. 2) Drehen Sie den Wassertank 8 um und schrauben Sie den Verschluss ab. ■ 62 │ DE│AT│CH SDM 1500 C2 3) Füllen Sie Leitungswasser bis zur Markierung MAX auf dem Wassertank 8 ein. HINWEIS Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu hart sein, empfiehlt es sich, das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten können die Düsen für die Dampfstoß-Funktion vorzeitig verkalken. Zur Verlängerung der optimalen Dampfstoß-Funktion mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle: Wasserhärte Anteil destilliertes Wasser zu Leitungswasser sehr weich / weich 0 mittel 1:1 hart 2:1 sehr hart 3:1 Die Wasserhärte können Sie beim örtlichem Wasserwerk erfragen. 4) Schrauben Sie den Verschluss handfest auf. 5) Drehen Sie den Wassertank 8 wieder um setzen Sie diesen in die Haupteinheit 3 ein: Setzen Sie zuerst den unteren Teil in die Haupteinheit 3 und kippen Sie dann den oberen Teil in das Gerät. Drücken Sie ihn fest an, so dass der Wassertank 8 spürbar einrastet und fest in der Haupteinheit 3 sitzt. Bedienen ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN! ► Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, ob der Fußboden für die Reinigung geeignet ist, testen Sie die Verträglichkeit vorab an einer versteckten Stelle. ► Beachten Sie stets die Reinigungshinweise des Teppichherstellers. Prüfen Sie vor Beginn der Reinigung zusätzlich, ob der Teppich für die Dampfreinigung geeignet ist. ► Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Pad 6 auf dem Dampffuß 5. Ansonsten werden die Fußböden verkratzt! ► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser im Wassertank 8! Die Pumpe kann ansonsten heißlaufen und beschädigt werden! HINWEIS ► Bevor Sie den Fußboden mit dem Dampfmopp reinigen, empfehlen wir den Fußboden vorher zu saugen, um lose Schmutzpartikel zu beseitigen. Wenn das Gerät fertig montiert und Wasser eingefüllt ist: SDM 1500 C2 DE│AT│CH │ 63 ■ 1) Halten Sie die Entriegelungstaste „Griff“ 1 gedrückt und klappen Sie den Griff nach oben, so dass dieser einrastet. 2) Falls noch nicht geschehen: Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollständig von den Kabelhaken z/i. Zum leichten Abwickeln des Kabels können Sie den oberen Kabelhaken z nach unten klappen, indem Sie diesen etwas herausziehen und gleichzeitig drehen. 3) Führen Sie das Netzkabel durch die Einkerbung t an der Rückseite des Griffs, so dass das Netzkabel nicht im Arbeitsbereich hängt. 4) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose. 5) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „I“. Der Ein-/Aus-Schalter u leuchtet, die rote Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 blinkt. 6) Wählen Sie mit der Taste MODE e die gewünschte Intensität der Dampferzeugung: – 1 x drücken: wenig Dampferzeugung, grüne Kontrollleuchte w leuchtet. – 2 x drücken: hohe Dampferzeugung, rote Kontrollleuchte q leuchtet. – 3 x drücken: keine Dampferzeugung, Bereitschaftsbetrieb, Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 leuchtet. HINWEIS ► Die Dampfstufe mit der hohen Dampferzeugung empfehlen wir vor allem für feuchtigkeits- und hitzeunempfindliche Bodenbeläge wie Fliesen. ► Die Dampfstufe mit der geringen Dampferzeugung empfehlen wir für feuchtigkeits- und hitzeempfindlichere Bodenbeläge wie z. B. Parkett. 7) Warten Sie ca. 30 Sekunden ab, in denen das Gerät aufheizt. 8) Drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r. Das Gerät beginnt mit der Dampferzeugung und nach kurzer Zeit tritt Dampf durch das Pad 6. 9) Wischen Sie über die gewünschten Flächen. HINWEIS ► Wenn der Wassertank 8 leer gepumpt ist, läuft die Pumpe noch einige Zeit nach, bis der leere Wassertank 8 durch gleichzeitiges Blinken der roten Kontrollleuchte „hohe Dampfstärke“ q, der grüne Kontrollleuchte „geringe Dampfstärke“ w und der Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 angezeigt wird. Wenn während der Benutzung der Wassertank 8 leer ist: – Drücken Sie erneut die Taste „Dampf“ r um die Dampfproduktion zu stoppen. – Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „O“. – Entnehmen Sie den Wassertank 8, befüllen Sie diesen und setzen Sie den Wassertank 8 wieder ein, wie im Kapitel „Wasser auffüllen“ beschrieben. ■ 64 │ DE│AT│CH SDM 1500 C2 – Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „I“. – Wählen Sie die gewünschte Dampfstärke wie oben beschrieben und drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r. 10) Wenn Sie mit der Bearbeitung aller Flächen fertig sind, drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r um die Dampferzeugung zu stoppen. 11) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter u auf „O“. Die Kontrollleuchte POWER 0 erlischt. 12) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. HINWEIS ► Wenn nach der Reinigung mit dem Gerät auf dem Boden Schlieren zu sehen sind, kann das an den zuvor verwendeten Reinigungsmitteln liegen. Reinigen Sie den Boden einfach erneut mit dem Dampfmopp. Die Schlieren sollten dann verschwunden sein. Nach dem Gebrauch 1) Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. 2) Entfernen Sie das Pad 6. 3) Nehmen Sie den Wassertank 8 aus dem Gerät und entleeren Sie diesen. 4) Ziehen Sie den oberen Kabelhaken z ein wenig heraus und drehen Sie diesen wieder nach oben. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die beiden Kabelhaken z/i. Fixieren Sie das Ende des Netzkabels mithilfe des Kabelclips, welcher sich am Kabel befindet. Reinigung und Pflege GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG! ► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker! WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! ► Lassen Sie das Gerät erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen. Verbrennungsgefahr! ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN ► Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung der Oberflächen weder scharfe Scheuer- oder chemischen Reinigungsmittel, noch spitze oder kratzende Gegenstände. ■ Entleeren Sie nach jedem Gebrauch den Wassertank 8. ■ Nehmen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch das Pad 6 vom Dampffuß 5 und waschen Sie es aus. SDM 1500 C2 DE│AT│CH │ 65 ■ ■ Beachten Sie folgende Waschanweisungen, wenn Sie das Pad 6 in der Waschmashine reinigen: max. bei 60° waschen nicht im Trockner trocknen nicht bügeln ■ Wischen Sie bei Bedarf das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Wartung/Filter wechseln Nach 4 - 6 Monaten oder ca. 100 Reinigungszyklen (ein Zyklus entspricht einer Wassertankfüllung), muss der Filter 7 gewechselt werden. Bitte wenden Sie sich für Ersatzfilter an unseren Service. GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG! ► Ziehen Sie vor dem Wechsel des Filters 7 den Netzstecker! 1) Zum Entfernen des Filters 7, nehmen Sie zuerst den Wassertank 8 aus dem Gerät. 2) Ziehen Sie den Filter 7 nach oben aus dem Gerät. 3) Setzen Sie den neuen Filter 7 ein. 4) Setzen Sie den Wassertank 8 ein. ■ 66 │ DE│AT│CH SDM 1500 C2 Fehlerbehebung Programm Mögliche Ursachen Mögliche Lösungen Das Gerät funktioniert nicht. Der Netzstecker ist nicht angeschlossen. Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine Netzsteckdose an. Die Taste „Dampf“ r ist nicht gedrückt. Drücken Sie die Taste „Dampf“ r. Es ist kein Wasser im Wassertank 8. Füllen Sie Wasser in den Wassertank 8. Der Filter 7 ist verstopft. Wechseln Sie den Filter 7. Es ist keine Dampfstärke ausgewählt. Wählen Sie mit der Taste MODE e die gewünschte Dampfstärke. Es ist kein Wasser im Wassertank 8. Füllen Sie Wasser in den Wassertank 8. Es hat sich etwas Kalk abgelagert. Wischen Sie die Kalkablagerungen mit einem feuchten Tuch weg. Geben Sie, falls nötig etwas Entkalker auf das Tuch. Das Gerät erzeugt keinen Dampf. Die Pumpe erzeugt ungewöhnlich laute Geräusche. Es hat sich ein weißlicher Rand auf dem Fußboden gebildet, wo das Gerät während des Betriebes kurz stehen blieb. Aufbewahren ■ Klappen Sie den Griff ein, indem Sie die Entriegelungstaste „Griff“ 1 drücken. ■ Ziehen Sie den oberen Kabelhaken z ein wenig heraus und drehen Sie diesen wieder nach oben. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die beiden Kabelhaken z/i. ■ Tragen Sie das Gerät am Tragegriff 2. ■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.
