PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD:
¾ Lea este manual cuidadosamente antes de instalar y utilizar la unidad.
¾ Guarde este manual de forma apropiada para facilitar futuras consultas.
¾ Observe cuidadosamente las instrucciones y advertencias de este manual.
¾ No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante.
¾ Utilice únicamente las piezas subministradas por el fabricante. El fabricante no se
responsabilizará de cualquier daño producido por manipulaciones no contempladas en el
manejo convencional del sistema.
¾ Asegúrese de que el enchufe está correctamente fijado y que la conexión es segura.
¾ No utilice muchos prolongadores de cable, pueden provocar riesgo de fuego y cortocircuitos.
¾ No introduzca objetos dentro de la unidad de control, ni la rocíe con líquido ya que podría
provocar un cortocircuito.
¾ Si se produce alguno de los siguientes puntos, por favor contacte con su técnico de
mantenimiento.
A. El cable de alimentación o el enchufe están dañados.
B. Ha entrado agua dentro de la unidad.
C. El sistema no funciona en condiciones normales.
D. La unidad ha caído al suelo y se ha dañado el chasis.
¾ Cuando un elemento o un cable externo está conectado a la unidad, la conexión de tierra del
cable del sistema debe de ser capaz de soportar cualquier fuga o cortocircuito.
¾ Tenga cuidado cuando instale la unidad principal de control y sus accesorios. Evite los golpes
y los movimientos violentos ya que podrían provocar daños en el sistema.
¾ No desmonte la unidad de control ni sus accesorios.
A. Dentro de la unidad hay circuitos muy sensibles y con alto voltaje. Para evitar cualquier
descarga eléctrica, no desmonte el equipo. Si es necesario manipular el equipo, por
favor busque un técnico cualificado.
B. Cuando los distribuidores reemplacen cualquier pieza del equipo, las especificaciones
de los recambios deben ser reconocidos por el fabricante. Los recambios no
autorizados pueden provocar riesgo de fuego por cortocircuito.
¾ No obstruya los orificios de ventilación del chasis.
¾ Hay una fuente de calor dentro del aparato. Si los orificios de ventilación se obstruyen, el
sobrecalentamiento de la unidad principal puede provocar un mal funcionamiento.
¾ No use el aparato en entornos que excedan de la humedad y temperatura especificadas.
¾ Usar la unidad principal de control en entornos con temperaturas de 0ºC ~ 40ºC y humedades
inferiores al 90%.

¾ No exponga la unidad principal de control a la lluvia y no la utilice en ambientes húmedos.
¾ No limpie la unidad principal ni sus accesorios con un detergente fuerte o abrasivo.
Si la superficie de la unidad está sucia, por favor no la limpie con detergente, puede usar
simplemente un paño húmedo.
¾ No apague y encienda la unidad de control bruscamente.
Estando la unidad en funcionamiento o parada, el apagarla y encenderla bruscamente puede
provocar un pico de potencia y dañar el circuito interior.
¾ Nota: Se debe garantizar una buena conexión a tierra.
¾ Nota: Antes de conectar la unidad a la fuente de corriente, por favor ajuste la tensión de
entrada según la tensión de la red. De otra forma, la unidad puede resultar dañada. La forma
de ajuste está descrita en el apartado Instalación y Ajustes del Sistema.
Precaución: Sólo técnicos cualificados pueden retirar la cubierta del equipo. Antes de
retirar la cubierta, se debe cortar la corriente y no se debe conectar de nuevo hasta que el
equipo esté completamente montado.

1. CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PRODUCTO
1.1. Unidad principal de control
• Detección automática de unidades.
• Capacidad del control digital: 10 unidades de presidente y 127 unidades de delegado.
• Incorpora una pantalla LCD (20x4) y 3 botones de ajuste: MODE, UP y DN.
• Incorpora un control de volumen digital.
• Incorpora un módulo para software de control.
1.2. Unidad de presidente
• Formato sobremesa.
• Incorpora funciones de control de conferencia: TALK (Hablar) y CONTROL (Prioridad).
• Se puede insertar en cualquier punto de la línea de unidades de conferencia (no debe ocupar
forzosamente la primera o última posición).
• El sistema admite un máximo de 10 unidades de presidente.
1.3. Unidad de delegado
• Formato sobremesa.
• Incorpora las funciones de conferencia: TALK (Hablar).
• El sistema admite un máximo de 127 unidades de delegado.

2. FUNCIONAMIENTO
2.1. Funciones del panel frontal de la unidad principal
(1) Botones de configuración del sistema de conferencias:
Mode: Botón de selección de modo.
UP: Botón de subir parámetro o subir el volumen.
Down: Botón de bajar un parámetro o bajar el volumen.
(2) Botón de encendido.
(3) Indicador de nivel: Barra de LEDs que indica el nivel de volumen de salida.
(4) LCD 20x4 Pantalla de control.

2.2. Funciones del panel posterior de la unidad principal
(5) Entrada de alimentación 18Vcc.

3. AJUSTES DEL SISTEMA
3.1. Puesta en marcha
• Después de verificar el cableado, encienda el equipo y verá el siguiente mensaje por la
pantalla LCD:
• A continuación, el sistema se iniciará y escaneará todos los micrófonos de conferencias que
estén conectados; la pantalla LCD mostrará la siguiente información:
• Después de escanear los micrófonos se mostrará la siguiente información:
Nota:
Al encender el equipo, el sistema va a escanear todos los micrófonos automáticamente.
Si el aro led rojo se queda encendido fijo significa que los micrófonos funcionan con normalidad;
pero si se queda parpadeando significa error de conexión. En ese caso apague el equipo y
compruebe la conexión del micrófono. Después vuelva a encender el equipo para escanear de
nuevo los micrófonos.
Para finalizar el escaneado pulse cualquier tecla de los micrófonos o espere 30 segundos. Los
aros se apagaran y el sistema estará listo para empezar la conferencia.

3.2. Pantalla LCD
1 Æ No: Muestra el código ID del micrófono que está hablando.
Códigos ID de presidente: *01 ~ *10.
Códigos ID de delegado: 001 ~ 127.
2 Æ Mode: Normal, Override o Chairman.
3 Æ Open-Mic: Número máximo de micrófonos abiertos simultáneamente, del 1 al 9 o todos.
4 Æ Auto.Off: Tiempo máximo de intervención, 30/45 segundos o manual.
5 Æ Volumen del sistema: Ajuste el volumen pulsando las teclas “Up” para subirlo y “Down”
para bajarlo.
(*) Si no se pulsa ningún botón durante 30 segundos, el sistema guardará la configuración
automáticamente y volverá a mostrar la página por defecto.

4. OPERACIONES
4.1. Pantalla de monitorización de micrófonos abiertos
• Cuando se hable por un micrófono, su aro rojo se encenderá. A la vez, su código de
identificación se mostrará en la pantalla LCD de la unidad de control.
• La pantalla LCD permite mostrar hasta tres códigos de micrófono simultáneamente.
• Si hay más de 3 micrófonos en uso, aparecerá el icono “Å Æ” en la parte superior-
derecha de la pantalla LCD. Al pulsar el botón “Mode” se mostrará el icono al lado
de la opción NO. Pulse los botones “Up” y “Down” para comprobar los códigos de los
micrófonos que se están utilizando.
4.2. Ajustes del modo de conferencia
• Pulse el botón “Mode” para mover el icono a la posición de MODE. La palabra “Normal”
empezará a parpadear, pulse los botones de subir o bajar para cambiar el modo de
conferencias.
• Los Modos de conferencias son los siguientes:
Normal: Las unidades de delegado pueden hablar libremente al pulsar el botón “talk”
(dentro del límite de micrófonos abiertos).

Chairman: Solo puede hablar la unidad de presidente. Las unidades de delegado quedan
inhabilitadas.
Override:
Ejemplo 1: Si el límite establecido es de 1 micrófono de delegado y un segundo micrófono
pulsa el botón “talk”, el primer micrófono se apagará automáticamente.
Ejemplo 2: Si el límite establecido es de 3 micrófonos de delegado, al encender un cuarto
micrófono, el primero se apagará, al encender un quinto micrófono se apagará el segundo
y así sucesivamente. Sólo podrán hablar 3 micrófonos simultáneos.
Estos límites no afectarán en ningún caso a la unidad presidente.
4.3. Configuración de micros abiertos
• Pulse el botón “Mode” para mover el icono a la posición “OPEN-MIC”. El número “03
Mic” empezará a parpadear, pulse los botones de subir o bajar para cambiar el número.
• Cantidad límite de micrófonos de delegado abiertos (1~9):
OPEN-MIC: 1 Mic Æ Sólo puede hablar un micrófono delegado a la vez.
OPEN-MIC: 9 Mic Æ Pueden hablar a la vez hasta 9 micrófonos de delegado.
OPEN-MIC: ALL Mic Æ Todos los micrófonos de delegado pueden hablar a al vez.
4.4. Configuración de apagado automático
•
El micrófono delegado se apagará automáticamente si no detecta ninguna entrada de
audio durante 30/45 segundos.
• Pulse el botón “Mode” para mover el icono a la posición “AUTO-OFF”. El número “30
Sec” empezará a parpadear, pulse los botones de subir o bajar para cambiar el número
entre 30 o 45.

• Transcurridos los 30 o 45 segundos, el micrófono delegado se apagará automáticamente.
AUTO-OFF: 30 Sec Æ El micrófono delegado se apagará después de 30 segundos.
AUTO-OFF: 45 Sec Æ El micrófono delegado se apagará después de 45 segundos.
4.5. Configuración de volumen
• Para ajustar el volumen del sistema, por favor, pulse los botones “Up” o “Down” del control
principal. El display LCD mostrará la siguiente información:

5. CONEXIÓN
• Existen 3 puertos para conectar líneas de unidades de conferencias a la unidad principal. No
hay ninguna prioridad entre ellos.
• El micrófono de presidente se puede colocar en cualquier posición de la línea, sin que el orden
afecte para nada al sistema.
• Antes de desconectar cualquier unidad de conferencias de la línea, es indispensable cortar la
alimentación de la unidad de control.

6.1. Unidad de presidente de sobremesa EDC-1011

Funcionamiento:
1. Presione la tecla “TALK” para activar la unidad. La indicación luminosa interior de la tecla y el
aro luminoso de color rojo del micrófono indican que la unidad está activa.
2. Al activarse el pupitre se desconectará automáticamente el altavoz para evitar el eco.
3. Presione la tecla “CONTROL” para silenciar los micrófonos de delegados. Los delegados
deberán presionar la tecla “TALK” nuevamente para continuar hablando.
4. El micrófono y la base están diseñados por separado. Lo que facilita la instalación, reparación,
mantenimiento, transporte, embalaje y almacenaje.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
¾ Please read this manual carefully before installing and using this unit.
¾ Please keep this manual appropriately for futures questions.
¾ Please read carefully the instruction and warning in this manual.
¾ Please do not use accessories not recommended by dealers.
¾ Please use the attached spare parts accessories provided by the factory only, the factory will
not be responsible for any damage due to false fixing way.
¾ Make sure that the power plug is fixed appropriately and safely.
¾ Please do not use too many extension cables to avoid fire hazard and short circuit.
¾ Please do not insert anything into the unit or spray and liquid on it to avoid short circuit.
¾ If one of the following happen, please contact with maintenance technician:
A. Power cable or plug is damaged.
B. Water gets into the unit.
C. The unit cannot be operated under normal condition.
D. The unit is dropped onto the ground and damage the frame.
¾ When outdoors equipment or cable is connected into this unit, the grounding of cable system
must be reliable to avoid lightening attack.
¾ Please take care when installing the main control unit and its surrounding facilities.
Avoid strike, fierce swing, which may damage the main conference unit and its surrounding
facilities.
¾ Please do not disassemble the main control unit and its surrounding facilities
A. There are high voltage and sensitive electronic circuits inside the unit. In order to avoid
electric shock, please do not disassemble the equipment. If is necessary uncover the
equipment, please seek assistant from qualified technicians.
B. When dealers replaced the spare parts, the specification of replacing spare parts
should be acknowledged by manufacturer. Use unauthorized spare parts may lead to
fire hazard caused by short circuit.
¾ Please do not block the holes on the case.
¾ There is heat sink inside this product. If the heat radiating holes are blocked, the resulting
overheating of the main unit may lead to malfunction.
¾ Please do not expose the conference main control unit to rain or humidity, and do not use it in
humid environment.
¾ Use this conference main control unit in environment with the temperature of 0°C ~ 40°C (32°F
~ 104°F) and humidity lower than 90%.

¾ Please place it at dry place. Humidity and water evaporation may lead to the damage of spare
parts inside.
¾ Please do not clean the conference main unit and its surrounding facilities with strong
detergent.
If the surface of the unit is dirty, please do not clean it with liquid or spraying detergent, you
should be use a slightly wet cloth.
¾ Please do not switch on and off the conference main control unit abruptly.
No matter the unit is running or stop, avoid switch it on and off abruptly to ensure the sensitive
electronic circuit inside not being damaged by abrupt power wave.
¾ Note: When the printed circuit board was going through electric static treatment, correct ESD
safety precaution and grounding should be guaranteed.
¾ Note: Before connecting the unit to the power supply, please adjust the power input according
to the local power specification. Otherwise, it can damage the unit. The setting mode can be
seen on the installation and setting of system.
Warning: Only qualified maintenance staff is allowed to uncover the case of the unit. There
is nothing inside that can be repaired by non certificated technician. Before uncovering the
unit, power should be cut off and no power supply is allowed before the unit is completely
covered.

2. OPERATION
2.1. Functionality of main unit’s front panel
(1) Conference system configuration buttons:
Mode: Mode selection button.
UP: Setting up a parameter or increase the volume.
Down: Setting down a parameter or decrease the volume.
(2) Power switch.
(3) Output volume LED indicator: LED bar indicates the volume of the output level.
(4) Display Control LCD 20x4.

3. SYSTEM SETTINGS
3.1. Start up
• After making sure that all wiring is done, switch on the main controller and the LCD will display
following information:
• Then, system will boot and auto-scan all connected conference microphones; LCD will display
the following information:
• After scanning the microphones the following information will be displayed (default page):
Note:
When the main controller is turned on, the system will automatically scan all microphones.
Red LED ring on indicates that microphone is working correctly while blinking one indicates
connection failure. In this case turn off the unit and check the microphone connection. Then turn on
the unit to scan again the microphones.
To finish auto scan press any of the microphone key or wait for 30 seconds, light ring on
microphones will be turned off and the conference will be ready to go.

3.2. LCD display
1 Æ No: Displays the ID code of talking microphone.
ID codes for Chairman microphone: **1 ~ *10.
ID codes for delegate microphone: 001 ~ 127.
2 Æ Mode: Normal, Override or Chairman.
3 Æ Open-Mic: It’s the limit of simultaneous open microphones, 1 to 9 or all.
4 Æ Auto.Off: It's the communication time limit 30/45 seconds or manual.

"Down"▼ button to decrease it.
(*) If no button is pressed within 30 seconds, the system automatically saves the settings and
returns to the default page.

4. OPERATIONS
4.1. Talking microphones display
• When conference microphone is in use, its ring red LED will be on. At the same time, its
identification code will be displayed on the LCD screen of the main control unit.
• Up to three microphones ID codes can be shown on the preset menu.
• If more than three microphones are in use, “Å Æ” icon will be displayed on the up-right
part of the LCD screen. Pressing "Mode" button, icon next to the “NO:” option will be
displayed. Press the "Up"▲ and "Down"▼ buttons to check the codes of used
microphones.
4.2. Conference mode settings
•
Press the "Mode" button to move the icon to the position MODE. The word "Normal"
will start blinking. Press up or down buttons to change the conference mode.
• Conference modes are the following:
Normal: Delegates microphones can speak freely pressing "talk" button (within the limits of
opened microphones).
Chairman: Only chairman microphone can speak. Delegate microphones are disabled.

Override:
Example 1: If the limit is 1 delegate microphone, and a second microphone presses "talk"
button, the first microphone is turned off automatically.
Example 2: If the limit is 3 delegate microphones, turning on a 4th delegate microphone will
turn off the first one, turning on a 5th delegate microphone will turn off the second and so
on. Only 3 microphones can be opened at the same time.
These limits do not affect the chairman unit in any case.
4.3. Open microphones number setup
• Press "Mode" button to move the icon to the "OPEN-MIC" position. The number "03
Mic" will start blinking. Press up or down buttons to change the number.
• Limit of opened delegate microphones (1~9):
OPEN-MIC: 1 Mic Æ Only 1 delegate microphone can be opened.
OPEN-MIC: 9 Mic Æ Up to 9 delegate microphones can be opened simultaneously.
OPEN-MIC: ALL Mic Æ All delegate microphones can be opened simultaneously.
4.4. Auto off Setting
•
The delegate microphone will automatically turn off if no audio is detected in 30/45
seconds.
• Press the "Mode" button to move the icon to the "AUTO-OFF" position. The number
"30 Sec" will start blinking, press the up or down buttons to change the number to 30/45.

• After 30 or 45 seconds, the delegate microphone will be automatically turned off:
AUTO-OFF: 30 Sec Æ The delegate microphone will be turned off after 30 seconds.
AUTO-OFF: 45 Sec Æ The delegate microphone will be turned off after 45 seconds.
4.5. Volume settings
• To adjust the system volume, please press "Up"▲ or "Down"▼ main control buttons. The
LCD display will show the following information:

5. CONECTION
• There are 3 ports for connecting conference units to the main unit. There is no priority between
them.
• The chairman microphone can be placed anywhere on the line. The order does not affect its
functionality.
• Before disconnecting any conference unit, it is essential to switch off the main control unit.

6.1. Table-top chairman unit EDC-1011

Operation:
1. Press “TALK” button to start talking. “TALK” button back-light and red ring will light up.
2. When microphone is activated its build-in speaker will be muted to prevent echo.
3. Press “CONTROL” button to clear and turn off all delegates. The delegate can press “TALK”
button again to continue talking.
4. Microphone and stand are designed by separated. It makes easier its installation, reparation,
maintenance, transportation, packaging and storage.
