ZUSAMMENBAU
1 Öffnen Sie die Verpackung
und entnehmen Sie
die Teile. Lösen Sie den
Feststellknopf am unteren
Schaft und nehmen Sie
die Schraube heraus.
Befestigen Sie die
Suchspule am Unterrohr
und verriegeln sie Sie.
Hinweis: Die
Gummidichtung muss
korrekt montiert sein

2 Lösen Sie die Feststellmutter am Mittelrohr, drücken Sie dann den
silbernen Knopf am Unterrohr und setzen Sie es in das Mittelrohr ein.

3 Lösen Sie die Feststellmutter am anderen Ende des Mittelrohrs, drücken
Sie dann den silbernen Knopf am Oberrohr und setzen Sie es in das
Mittelrohr ein. Ziehen Sie dann die Feststellmutter wieder fest.
4 Stellen Sie die volle Länge des Detektors so ein, dass Ihre Arme beim
Suchen gerade sind. Sobald die gewünschte Länge bestimmt ist, ziehen
Sie die Feststellmuttern an. Dadurch wird die Erkennung einfacher und
komfortabler.
5 Die Armstütze hat drei Positionen. Befestigen Sie die Armstütze mit der
dreieckigen Befestigungsschraube in der richtige Position, je nach Länge
der Arme.

So setzen Sie die Batterien ein
Hinweis: Sie benötigen 4 AA-Batterien. Die Batterien sind NICHT im
Lieferumfang enthalten. Die Batterien sollten ca. 40 Stunden Suchzeit
bieten. Wenn der Detektor längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, entfernen Sie
bitte die Batterien, damit sie nicht auslaufen oder rosten.

BEDIENFELD-ANZEIGEN
Alle Einstellungen und Suchergebnisse werden übersichtlich auf dem LCD-
Bildschirm angezeigt.
1 Modus-Anzeige: Zeigt die ausgewählte Betriebsart der 5 Betriebsarten
an. Wählen Sie verschiedene Modi, indem Sie die Taste [+] oder [-]
drücken.
2 Zielmetall-Anzeige: Am oberen Rand des Bildschirms werden die drei
Metalle angezeigt, abhängig davon, nach welchem Metall Sie suchen.
3 Obere Skala: Besteht aus 12 Pfeilen, die es erlauben das Zielobjekt
möglichst genau zu identizieren und zu unterschieden. Im ALL METAL-
Modus leuchten alle 12 Anzeigen auf. Bei der Wahl der Modi leuchten die
ausgeschiedenen Metalle nicht auf. Im Pinpoint-Modus zeigt die obere
Skala die Signalstärke an.
4 Untere Skala: Besteht aus 12 leuchtenden Segmenten, durch die sich Lage
und Zielrichtung noch besser bestimmen lassen.

5 Anzeige der Zieltiefe: Besteht aus 4 Einstellungen: 2“ (5 cm),
4“ (10 cm), 6“ (15 cm) und 8+“ (20 cm)und zeigt die ungefähre Tiefe der
Münze in Abhängigkeit von Größe, Metall und Bodenbeschaffenheit an.
Im Pinpoint-Modus kann der Detektor das Ziel genauer bestimmen.
6 Batterie-Anzeige: 4 leuchtende Segmente zeigen eine starke Leistung an;
bei geringer Leistung erlöschen die Lichter.
7 Empndlichkeit-Aanzeige: Besteht aus 8 Anzeigen. Wenn alle
8 leuchten, ist die Empndlichkeit am höchsten. Wählen Sie die
Empndlichkeit, indem Sie auf + oder - drücken (im Pinpoint-Modus nicht
erforderlich).
8 Pinpoint-Anzeige: Halten Sie die Taste PINPOINT gedrückt, bis die Pin-
Point-Anzeige leuchtet. Dadurch wird der Non-Motion-Modus aktiviert
und die Genauigkeit beim Aufnden eines Objekts verbessert.

BEDIENFELDTASTEN
Taste Funktion
1 MODE Drücken Sie die Taste [+] oder [-9, um den
gewünschten Modus auszuwählen:
• ALL METAL: Alle Metallarten werden
angezeigt.
• DISCRIM: Durch Drücken der [+] oder [-]
Taste werden bestimmte Metalle entfernt.
• JEWELRY: Eliminiert Eisen und reagiert
schneller auf andere Metalle.
• CUSTOM: Um bestimmte Metallarten zu
eliminieren, drücken Sie die Taste [+] oder
[-], bis der Pfeil der oberen Skala unter
dieser Metallart leuchtet. Drücken Sie dann
die Taste ELIM, um diese Metallgruppe zu
löschen und wieder einzusetzen.
• COINS: Ignoriert die gängigen
Abfallmetalle. Münzen, die aus ähnlichen
Metallen bestehen, werden aber auch
ignoriert.

Taste Funktion
3 PINPOINT Halten Sie die PINPOINT-Taste gedrückt, um
den exakten Ort eines Ziels zu bestimmen,
dass sich versteckt im Boden, hinter einer
Mauer oder in einem anderen Objekt bendet.
Beim Pinpointen zeigt die PINPOINT-Skala
die Signalstärke an. Je näher sich der Detektor
am Metallobjekt bendet, desto heller wird
die Anzeigeleuchte und desto lauter wird der
Signalton.
4 ELIM Diese Taste kann in Verbindung mit der
Schaltäche DISCRIM zur Eliminierung
bestimmter Metalle verwendet werden. Halten
Sie die Taste ELIM drei Sekunden lang gedrückt.
Eine Anzeige leuchtet auf dem Bildschirm auf
und bestätigt die Aktivierung.
5 DISCRIM Entfernen Sie Metallarten durch Drücken der
Tasten DISCRIM [+] oder [-].
6 SENS Wählen Sie zwischen 8 verschiedenen
Empndlichkeitsstufen, indem Sie die Taste
[+] oder [-] drücken. Leuchten alle Anzeigen,
bedeutet das höchste Empndlichkeit. Wenn Sie
auf Störungen stoßen, sorgt eine Verringerung
der Empndlichkeit für eine bessere Erkennung
(nicht relevant für den Pinpoint-Modus).
7 GROUND
BALANCE
Wird im PINPOINT-Modus verwendet. Von
Werk aus ist der Position [P] eingestellt. Bei
stark mineralisierten Böden sollte die Ground
Balance (Bodenabgleich ) verwendet werden.
Bewegen Sie die Spule des Detektors nahe am
Boden und drehen Sie am Regler, bis so viele
Hintergrundgeräusche wie möglich eliminiert
sind.

INBETRIEBNAHME UND TEST
1 Testen Sie das Gerät mit einer Metallprobe, bevor Sie damit draußen auf
die Suche gehen, z. B. mit:
• Eisennagel
• 10/20/50 Eurocent-Münze (Kupfer)
• 1 bzw. 2-Euro-Münze (Kupfer/Nickel)
• Silbermünze
2 Legen Sie den Detektor vorsichtig auf einen Holz- oder Plastiktisch, wobei
die Suchspule mindestens 30 cm über das Ende hinausragen sollte. Halten
Sie die Testobjekte möglichst mittig über der Suchspule. Wichtig: Halten
Sie den Detektor von anderen Stromquellen fern. Bitte entfernen Sie
vor dem Test alle persönlichen metallischen Gegenstände, da sie die
Erkennung stören können.
3 Nach dem Drücken der POWER-Taste piept der Detektor zweimal und
der Bildschirm leuchtet auf. Sobald der Detektor bereit ist, nimmt er den
Modus wieder auf, in dem er sich vor dem letzten Ausschalten befand.

4 Test: ALL METAL-Modus
Führen Sie jede der vier Metallproben 10 cm über die Suchspule. Der
Detektor macht für jede Probe einen anderen Ton.
• Der Abstand der Probe wird als 4“ angezeigt.
• Der Pfeil in der oberen Skala zeigt an, um welches Metall es sich
handelt.
5 Test: DISCRIM-Modus
Drücken Sie die Taste MODE+, bis der Pfeil auf DISCRIM zeigt. Drücken
Sie die Taste DISCRIM+, bis der Pfeil der oberen Skala unter dem Metall
leuchtet, das ausgeschlossen werden soll. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste
DISCRIM+ und das Segment in der unteren Skala erlischt, wodurch
der Eisennagel beim Suchen ignoriert wird. Führen Sie jedes der vier
Metallobjekte 10 cm über die Spule.
• Der Detektor reagiert nicht auf den Eisennagel.
• Die Reaktion des Detektors auf die anderen drei Metallobjekte ist die
gleiche wie im ALL METAL-Modus.
• Durch Wiederholen der oben genannten Schritte können noch
weitere unerwünschte Metalle ausgeschlossen werden.

6 Test: JEWELRY-Modus
Drücken Sie die Taste MODE+, bis der Pfeil auf JEWELRY zeigt. Das erste
und zweite Segment der unteren Skala gehen aus. Führen Sie jedes der
vier Metallobjekte 10 cm über die Spule.
• Der Detektor reagiert nicht auf den Eisennagel.
• Die Reaktion des Detektors auf die anderen drei Metallobjekte ist die
gleiche wie im ALL METAL-Modus.
7 Test: CUSTOM-Modus
Drücken Sie die Taste MODE+, bis der Pfeil auf CUSTOM zeigt. Um z. B.
die 1-Pfund-Münze zu entfernen, drücken Sie die Taste DISCRIM+ weiter,
bis der Pfeil der oberen Skala auf die 1-Pfund-Münze zeigt. Drücken
Sie die Taste ELIM und das Segment in der unteren Skala erlischt. Wenn
Sie diesen Modus benutzen, merkt sich der Detektor die Einstellung
und ruft sie beim nächsten Start wieder auf. Führen Sie jedes der vier
Metallobjekte 10 cm über die Spule.
• Der Detektor reagiert nicht auf die 1-Pfund-Münze.
• Die Reaktion des Detektors auf die anderen drei Metallobjekte ist die
gleiche wie im ALL METAL-Modus.
• Durch Benutzen der Taste DISCRIM+ können mehrere Metalle bei der
Suche ausgeschlossen werden.

8 Test: COINS-Modus
Drücken Sie die Taste MODE+, bis der Pfeil auf COINS zeigt. Die
Segmente unter Eisennägel, Kronkorken und Dosenlasche verschwinden,
wodurch die drei häugsten Abfallmetalle beim Suchen ausgeschlossen
werden. Führen Sie jedes der vier Metallobjekte 10 cm über die Spule.
Hinweis: Münzen, die eines der drei Abfallmetalle enthalten, werden
ebenfalls eliminiert.
• Der Detektor reagiert nicht auf den Eisennagel.
• Die Reaktion des Detektors auf die anderen drei Metallobjekte ist die
gleiche wie im ALL METAL-Modus.
9 Test: PINPOINT-Modus
• Halten Sie die Taste PINPOINT gedrückt und die PINPOINT-Anzeige
leuchtet auf. Die Anzeige für die Münztiefe zeigt [8+] an. Die Anzeigen
der oberen und unteren Skala gehen alle aus. Der Detektor gibt einen
tiefen, Ton ab. Wenn die Anzeigen nicht ausgehen, lassen Sie die
PINPOINT-Taste los und wiederholen Sie sie den Vorgang.

• Sobald die Anzeigen der oberen Skala erloschen sind, bringen Sie die
z. B. eine 2-Pence-Münze in Richtung Suchspule. Ab einer Entfernung
von 8“ beginnen die Segmente zu leuchten und ein Signal ertönt. Je
näher die Münze der Suchspule kommt, desto lauter wird der Ton.
• Halten Sie die Münze fest und lassen Sie die Taste PINPOINT los.
Drücken Sie die Taste nach einigen Sekunden erneut. Der untere Skala
erlischt, der Ton wird wieder normal und die Tiefen-Anzeige kehrt zur
vollen Skala zurück.
• Bewegen Sie die Münze zurück zur Mitte der Spule und die Segmente
kehren, der Ton wird lauter und die Tiefen-Anzeige wird schwächer.
• Wiederholen Sie den Test auch mit anderen Metallen.

BEDIENUNG IM FREIEN
Metalldetektoren sind in erster Linie für den Einsatz im Freien vorgesehen.
Verwenden Sie den Detektor nicht in der Nähe von Stromquellen
und Orten mit viel Metall. Die Felddetektion kann auch aufgrund von
Bodenverhältnissen, Größe, Form und Oxidation von Metallen kompliziert
sein. Je mehr Sie üben, desto erfahrener werden Sie und erzielen dadurch
bessere und genauere Ergebnisse.
(1) Gerät einschalten
Nach dem Drücken der POWER-Taste piept der Detektor zweimal und alle
Bildschirmsymbole leuchten einmal kurz auf. Sobald der Detektor bereit
ist, nimmt er den Modus auf, in dem er sich vor dem letzten Ausschalten
befand.
(2) Betriebsart einstellen
Starten Sie mit dem Modus ALL METAL. Wenn ein bestimmtes
Metall gewünscht wird, stellen Sie den Detektor auf einen der zuvor
beschriebenen Modi ein. Da die Bodenbedingungen unterschiedlich
sind, ist es manchmal eine gute Idee, Proben von bestimmten Metallen
mitzunehmen, sie zu vergraben und dann die Einstellungen des
Detektors anzupassen, um möglichst genaue Ergebnisse zu erhalten. Die
Verwendung des PINPOINT-Modus kann auch helfen, die Genauigkeit zu
erhöhen und die Kontamination des Bodens anzuzeigen.
(3) Empndlichkeit einstellen
Je geringer die Sensitivität, desto genauer sind die Ergebnisse; in Böden,
die viele Mineralien enthalten, führt dies jedoch auch zu unerwünschten
Ergebnissen. Stellen Sie die Empndlichkeit so ein, dass Sie die besten
Ergebnisse für diese Art von Boden erhalten. Wenn Sie in der Nähe
eines anderen Suchers arbeiten, halten Sie sich mindestens 10 Meter
voneinander entfernt auf, um die Ergebnisse des anderen nicht zu stören.

(4) Das richtige Bewegungsmuster
Versuchen Sie ein gleichmäßiges Schwungtempo einzuhalten. Ruckartige
Bewegungen können dazu führen, dass der Detektor den Untergrund
nicht schnell genug sondieren kann. Halten Sie die Suchspule parallel zum
Boden, nicht schräg angewinkelt. Bewegen Sie sich in einer konstanten,
langsamen Bewegung.
(5) Metallerkennung durch Tonhöhe
Bei der Erkennung ist der Ton manchmal weitaus hilfreicher als der Blick
auf den Bildschirm. Es gibt vier Tonhöhen, die Ihnen helfen zu erkennen,
welche Art von Metall entdeckt wurde:
• Niedrige Tonhöhe: Eisenmetalle wie Eisen, Deckel, etc.
• Mittelniedrige Tonhöhe: Zuglaschen, 10-Pence Nickel-Münzen, etc.
• Mittlere Tonhöhe: Dosenlaschen, 1- und 2-Pfund Münzen
• Hohe Tonhöhe: Kupfer, Aluminium, Silber, etc.
(6) Pinpointen
Wenn Sie im Bewegungsmodus sind ist es zwar möglich, etwas
Metallisches zu lokalisieren, allerdings lässt sich die genaue Position nur
schwer nden. Nachdem sich etwas auf dem Detektor registriert hat,
wechseln Sie in den PINPOINT-Modus, um den genauen Standort zu
ermitteln.

• Halten Sie die Taste PINPOINT gedrückt und die PINPOINT-Anzeige
leuchtet auf. Die Anzeige für die Münztiefe zeigt [8+] an. Die Anzeigen
der oberen und unteren Skala gehen alle aus. Der Detektor gibt einen
tiefen, Ton ab. Wenn die Anzeigen nicht ausgehen, lassen Sie die
PINPOINT-Taste los und wiederholen Sie sie den Vorgang.
• Sobald Sie sich im PINPOINT-Modus benden, bewegen Sie die
Suchspule langsam in die Nähe des Objekts, bis eine hohe Signalstärke
die genaue Position anzeigt. Sobald die Position bestimmt ist, wird der
Ton lauter und die Anzeige für die Zieltiefe heller.
• Halten Sie den Detektor fest in dieser Position und lassen Sie die
Taste PINPOINT los. Drücken Sie die Taste nach einigen Sekunden
erneut. Die Anzeige erlischt und es ertönt ein einziger niedriger Ton.
Bewegen Sie die Suchspule langsam um das Ziel, bis der Ton lauter und
die Tiefenanzeige wieder heller wird.
• Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang mehrmals, bis die genaue Position
und Tiefe bekannt sind.
• Wird eine Tiefe von 2-4“ angezeigt, bendet sich das Objekt nah an
der Suchspulen-Mitte.
• Hinweis: Im PINPOINT-Modus wird die Tiefen-Anzeige gleichzeitig
zur Signalstärke-Anzeige.
(7) Ground Balance einstellen
Bevor Sie den PINPOINT-Modus verwenden, stellen Sie den Detektor
mit der Ground Balance-Taste ein. Dies trägt dazu bei, dass Mineralien in
mineralreichen Böden eliminiert werden.
• Finden Sie eine metallfreie Stelle des Bodens. Stellen Sie die Ground
Balance-Einstellung auf die Position [P].
• Heben Sie die Suchspule auf mehr als einen Meter über dem Boden
an (siehe Bild). Drücken Sie die PINPOINT-Taste und bringen Sie die
Spule auf ca. 1,5 cm über dem Boden.

• Wenn sowohl die Signalfrequenz als auch die Signalstärke keine
offensichtliche Änderung aufweisen, ist die Ground Balance bereits
eingestellt.
• Wenn es eine offensichtliche Veränderung bei der Annäherung an den
Boden gibt, dann müssen Sie die Ground Balance anpassen.
• Heben Sie die Suchspule erneut an und drehen Sie den Ground
Balance-Knopf um 15 Grad im Uhrzeigersinn.
• Drücken erneut Sie die PINPOINT-Taste und bringen Sie die Spule auf
ca. 1,5 cm über dem Boden.
• Sollte sich wieder eine offensichtliche Veränderung ergeben,
wiederholen Sie den Vorgang, bis die Ground Balance eingestellt ist
und es beim Absenken keine große Veränderung mehr gibt.
• Stellen Sie die Ground Balance langsam ein, um die Empndlichkeit
nicht zu stark einzustellen und damit zu verringern.
• Hinweis: In stark mineralisierten oder magnetischen Böden kann es
schwierig sein, die korrekte Ground Balance zu erreichen.
(8) Tiefe und Zielort
• Die fünf Betriebsarten, die mit der Taste MODE ausgewählt werden,
sind alle Bewegungsmodi. Sie zeigen eine grobe Metallart, -tiefe und
-lage an.
• Wenn die Position und die Art des Metalls des Objekts erkannt
wurden, ertönt ein wiederholtes Signal. Sollte das nicht der Fall
sein, kann es sich um ein falsches Ziel, ein Abfallmetall oder ein stark
oxidiertes Objekt handeln.
• Sobald ein Metallobjekt gefunden wurde, zeigt der Pfeil der oberen
Skala die Art des Metalls an. Die Ergebnisse sind bei neutralem Boden
genauer als bei stark mineralisiertem Boden.
• Kleinere, dünnere Goldobjekte zeigen ein mit der 10-Pence-
Münze vergleichbares Ergebnis, während größere Goldstücke zur
Dosenlasche oder der 1-Pfund-Münze zeigen. Der Größte wird nur
angezeigt, wenn das Objekt mindestens so groß wie eine 2-Pence-
Münze ist.

• Silber wird auf der rechten Seite angezeigt und je größer das Objekt, desto
weiter rechts wird es angezeigt.
• Die Tiefenanzeige für münzgroße Objekte ist sehr genau, wobei größere,
unregelmäßig geformte Objekte in der Ablesung variieren können. In
diesem Fall kann das wiederholte Überfahren desselben Bereichs zu
besseren Messergebnissen führen. Wenn die Tiefenanzeige immer noch
variiert, kann es sein, dass mehr als ein Objekt erkannt wird.
• Wie bereits erwähnt, zeigt der Detektor in unbekannten Gebieten
je nach Bodenart und Zusammensetzung der gefundenen Objekte
unterschiedliche Ergebnisse. Bestimmte Arten von Metallen müssen unter
Umständen eliminiert werden, um gewünschte Metalle nicht zu verpassen.
(9) Die Verwendung des Non-Motion-Modus
Dies ist die reaktionsschnellste Art der Erkennung. In stark mineralisierten
Böden oder an engen Stellen kann der PINPOINT-Modus die beste Wahl
für die Erkennung von Objekten sein. Bewegen Sie die Suchspule im
PINPOINT-Modus langsam.
FEHLERSUCHE UND FEHLERBEHEBUNG

eingesetzt wurden.

Die Selbstdiagnose hat nicht funktioniert.
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und starten Sie es
dann erneut.
Der Ton ist unregelmäßig

1 Open the packaging and
remove the parts. Release
the locking button on the
lower tube and remove

3 Loosen the lock nut on the other end of the center tube, then push the
silver button on the top tube and insert it into the center tube. Then
tighten the lock nut again.
4 Adjust the full length of the detector so that your arms are straight when
searching. Once the desired length has been determined, tighten the
locknuts. This makes detection easier and more comfortable.
5 The armrest has three positions. Use the triangular xing screw to secure
the armrest in the correct position, depending on the length of your arms.

How to insert the batteries
Note: You need 4 AA batteries. The batteries are NOT included. The
batteries should provide about 40 hours of search time. If the detector is
not going to be used for a long time, please remove the batteries so they do
not leak or rust.

CONTROL PANEL DISPLAYS
All settings and search results are clearly displayed
on the LCD screen.
1 Mode display: Displays the selected mode of operation of the 5 modes.
Select different modes by pressing the [+] or [-] key.
2 Target metal indicator: At the top of the screen, the three types of metal
are displayed, depending on which metal you are looking for.
3 Upper scale: Consists of 12 arrows that allow you to identify and
distinguish the target object as accurately as possible. In ALL METAL
mode, all 12 indicators will light up. When selecting the modes, the
eliminated metals will not light up. In pinpoint mode, the upper scale
shows the signal strength.
4 Lower scale: Consists of 12 illuminated segments, which can be used to
determine the position and direction even better.

5 Target depth display: Consists of 4 settings: 2 inches (5 cm), 4 inches (10
cm), 6 inches (15 cm) and 8+ inches (20 cm), showing the approximate
coin depth depending on size, metal and soil texture. In pinpoint mode, the
detector can more accurately determine the target.
6 Battery indicator: 4 illuminated segments indicate a high power; at low
power the lights will go out.
7 Sensitivity indicator: Consists of 8 indicators. When all 8 are lit, the
sensitivity is highest. Select the sensitivity by pressing + or - (not required
in pinpoint mode).
8 Pinpoint display: Hold down the PINPOINT button until the pinpoint
indicator lights up. This activates the non-motion mode and improves the
accuracy of nding an object.

1 MODE Press the [+] or [-9 button to select the desired
mode:
• ALL METAL: All metals are displayed.
• DISCRIM: Pressing the [+] or [-] key
eliminates certain metals.
• JEWELRY: Eliminates iron and reacts faster
to other metals.
• CUSTOM: To eliminate certain types of
metals, press the [+] or [-] until the arrow on
the upper scale lights up under this type of
metal. Then press the ELIM key to eliminate
and replace this metal group.
• COINS: Ignores the common waste metals.
Coins made of similar metals are also
ignored.
2 POWER Press once to turn on the device. Press again to
turn off the device.

Button Function
3 PINPOINT Press and hold the PINPOINT key to determine
the exact location of a target that is hidden in
the ground, behind a wall, or inside another
object. When pinpointing, the PINPOINT scale
indicates the signal strength. The closer the
detector is to the metal object, the brighter the
indicator light will become and the louder the
beep will sound.
4 ELIM This button can be used in conjunction with the
DISCRIM button to eliminate certain metals.
Press and hold the ELIM button for three
seconds. An indicator will light up on the screen
to conrm activation.
5 DISCRIM Remove metal types by pressing DISCRIM [+]
or [-].
6 SENS Choose between 8 different levels of sensitivity
by pressing the [+] or [-] key. If all the lights are
on, this means it is set to the highest sensitivity.
If you encounter interference, reducing
sensitivity will provide better detection (not
relevant to pinpoint mode).
7 GROUND
BALANCE
Used in PINPOINT mode. By default, the
position [P] is set. For heavily mineralized soils,
ground balance should be used. Move the coil
of the detector close to the ground and turn the
knob until you eliminate as much background
noise as possible.

COMMISSIONING AND TEST
1 Test the device with a metal sample before searching outside, e.g. with:
• Iron nail
• 10/20/50 Euro cent coin (copper)
• 1 or 2 Euro coin (copper / nickel)
• Silver coin
2 Carefully place the detector on a wooden or plastic table with the search
coil protruding at least 30 cm beyond the end. Hold the test objects as
centrally as possible over the search coil. Important: Keep the detector
away from other power sources. Please remove all personal metallic
objects before testing as they may interfere with detection.
3 After pressing the POWER button, the detector will beep twice and the
screen will light up. As soon as the detector is ready, it will resume the
mode it was in before it was last turned off.

4 Test: ALL METAL mode
Guide each of the four metal samples 10 cm above the search coil. The
detector will make a different sound for each sample.
• The distance of the sample will be displayed as 4“.
• The arrow in the upper scale will indicate which metal is involved.
5 Test: DISCRIM mode
Press the MODE + button until the arrow points to DISCRIM. Press the
DISCRIM + button until the top scale arrow lights below the metal you
wish to exclude. Press the DISCRIM + button again and the segment on the
lower scale will go off, ignoring the iron nail while searching. Guide each of
the four metal objects 10 cm above the coil.
• The detector will not respond to the iron nail.
• The reaction of the detector to the other three metal objects will be
the same as in the ALL METAL mode.
• By repeating the above steps, other unwanted metals can be excluded.

6 Test: JEWELRY mode
Press the MODE + button until the arrow points to JEWELRY. The rst
and second segments of the lower scale will go out. Guide each of the four
metal objects 10 cm above the coil.
• The detector will not respond to the iron nail.
• The reaction of the detector to the other three metal objects will be
the same as in the ALL METAL mode.
7 Test: CUSTOM mode
Press the MODE + button until the arrow points to CUSTOM. For
example, to remove the 1 pound coin, press the DISCRIM + button until
the top scale arrow points to the 1 pound coin. Press the ELIM button
and the segment in the lower scale will go out. If you use this mode, the
detector will remember the setting and recall it the next time you start it
up. Guide each of the four metal objects 10 cm above the coil.
• The detector will not respond to the 1 pound coin.
• The reaction of the detector to the other three metal objects will be
the same as in the ALL METAL mode.
• By using the DISCRIM + key, several metals can be excluded in the
search.

8 Test: COINS mode
Press the MODE + button until the arrow points to COINS. The segments
under iron nails, bottle caps and can tabs will disappear, eliminating the
three most common waste metals in the search. Guide each of the four
metal objects 10 cm above the coil. Note: Coins that contain one of the
three waste metals will also be eliminated.

• As soon as the upper scale indicators have gone out, bring for example
a 2-pence coin towards the search coil. At a distance of 8“, the
segments will start to glow and a signal will sound. The closer the coin
gets to the search coil, the louder the sound will become.
• Hold the coin and release the PINPOINT button. Press the button
again after a few seconds. The lower scale will disappear, the sound
will return to normal and the depth display will return to full scale.
• Move the coin back to the middle of the coil and the segments will
return, the sound will be louder and the depth display will be weaker.
• Repeat the test with other metals as well.

OUTDOOR OPERATION
Metal detectors are primarily intended for outdoor use. Do not use the
detector near sources of power or places with a lot of metal. Field detection
may also be complicated due to soil conditions, size, shape and oxidation of
metals. The more you practice, the more experienced you will become, and will
thus get better and more accurate results.
(1) Turn on the device
After pressing the POWER button, the detector will beep twice and all
screen icons will light up briey. Once the detector is ready, it will return
to the mode it was in before it was last turned off.
(2) Set the operating mode
Start with the mode ALL METAL. If a particular metal is desired, set the
detector to one of the previously described modes. As soil conditions vary,
it is sometimes a good idea to take samples of certain metals, bury them,
and then adjust the settings of the detector for the most accurate results
possible. Using the PINPOINT mode can also help increase accuracy and
indicate soil contamination.
(3) Adjust sensitivity
The lower the sensitivity, the more accurate the results will be. However,
in soils that contain many minerals, this can also lead to undesirable
results. Adjust the sensitivity to get the best results for this type of soil.
When working near another person using a metal detector, stay at least 10
meters apart so as not to interfere with each other‘s results.

(4) The right pattern of motion
Try to maintain a steady pace of swinging. Jerky movements may prevent
the detector from being able to probe the ground quickly enough. Hold the
search coil parallel to the ground, not at an angle. Move in a constant slow
motion.
(5) Metal detection by pitch
With detection, sound is sometimes more helpful than looking at the
screen. There are four pitches that will help you recognize what kind of
metal has been discovered:
• Low pitch: ferrous metals such as iron, lids, etc.
• Medium-low pitch: pull tabs, 10-pence nickel coins, etc.
• Medium pitch: can tabs, 1 and 2-pound coins
• High pitch: copper, aluminum, silver, etc.
(6) Pinpoint
While in motion mode, it is possible to locate something metallic, but the
exact location can be difcult to nd. After something has registered on
the detector, switch to PINPOINT mode to get the exact location.

• Press and hold the PINPOINT button and the PINPOINT indicator
will light up. The coin depth indicator shows [8+]. The upper and lower
scale displays will all go out. The detector will emit a deep tone. If the
displays do not go out, release the PINPOINT key and try again.
• Once in PINPOINT mode, move the search coil slowly near the object
until a high signal strength indicates the exact position. Once the
position is determined, the sound will become louder and the target
depth indicator will brighten.
• Hold the detector rmly in this position and release the PINPOINT
key. Press the button again after a few seconds. The indicator will
go off and a single low tone will sound. Move the search coil slowly
around the target until the sound becomes louder and the depth
indicator brightens again.
• Repeat this process several times until the exact position and depth
are known.
• When a depth of 2-4“ is displayed, the subject is close to the center of
the search coil.
• Note: In PINPOINT mode, the depth indicator becomes the signal
strength indicator at the same time.
(7) Adjust ground balance
Before using the PINPOINT mode, use the ground balance button to
adjust the detector. This helps to eliminate minerals in mineral-rich soils.
• Find a metal-free area of the soil. Set the ground balance setting to [P].
• Lift the search coil more than a meter above the ground (see picture).
Press the PINPOINT button and bring the coil to about 1.5 cm above
the oor.

• If both the signal frequency and the signal strength show no obvious
change, the ground balance is already set.
• If there is an obvious change when approaching the ground, then you
need to adjust the ground balance.
• Raise the search coil again and turn the ground balance knob 15
degrees clockwise.
• Press the PINPOINT button again and bring the coil to about 1.5 cm
above the ground.
• If there is an obvious change again, repeat the process until the ground
balance is set and there is no major change when lowering.
• Adjust the ground balance slowly so as not to over-adjust and reduce
the sensitivity.
• Note: In heavily mineralized or magnetic soils, it may be difcult to
achieve the correct ground balance.
(8) Depth and destination
• The ve modes selected with the MODE button are all motion modes.
They indicate a rough metal type, depth and location.
• When the position and type of metal of the object are detected, a
repeated beep will sound. If this is not the case, it could be an incorrect
target, a waste metal or a heavily oxidized object.
• Once a metal object has been found, the upper scale arrow will
indicate the type of metal. The results will be more accurate in neutral
soil than in heavily mineralized soil.

• Smaller, thinner gold objects show a result comparable to the 10
pence coin, while larger gold pieces point to the can tab or the 1 pound
coin. The largest will be displayed only if the object is at least as large
as a 2-pence coin.
• Silver is displayed on the right, and the larger the item, the farther to
the right it will appear.
• The depth display for coin-sized objects is very accurate. Larger,
irregularly shaped objects may vary in reading. In this case, repeatedly
crossing the same area can lead to better results. If the depth display
still varies, more than one object may be detected.
• As already mentioned, in unknown areas, the detector will show
different results depending on the soil type and composition of the
found objects. Certain types of metals may need to be eliminated to
avoid missing metals.
(9) The use of non-motion mode
This is the most responsive type of detection. In heavily mineralized soils
or in conned spaces, PINPOINT mode may be the best choice for object
detection. Move the search coil slowly in PINPOINT mode.

el botón plateado situado en la barra superior e inserte la barra central. A

display LCD.
1 Indicador de modos: Muestra el modo elegido de los 5 modos existentes.
Elija el modo deseado con los botones [+] y [-].
2 Indicador de metal objetivo de búsqueda: En la parte superior del display
se indican los 3 metales, dependiendo del metal que busca.
3 Escala superior: Se compone de 12 echas, que permiten identicar el
objeto de búsqueda de manera más exacta y a diferenciarlo de otros. En

5 Indicador de profundidad: Se compone de 4 niveles: 2“ (5 cm), 4“ (10 cm),
6“ (15 cm) y 8+“ (20 cm). Indica la profundidad de la moneda en función de
su tamaño, metal y propiedades de la tierra. En modo Pinpoint, el detector
de metal determina mejor el objetivo.
6 Indicador de pila: 4 barras luminosas indican el nivel restante de las pilas.
Cuando las pilas se agotan, las luces se apagan.
7 Indicador de sensibilidad: Se compone de 8 niveles: Cuando se iluminan
los 8 niveles, la sensibilidad está en el nivel máximo. Elija la sensibilidad

Botón Función
3 PINPOINT Mantenga pulsado el botón PINPOINT para
determinar la localización exacta de un objeto
oculto en el suelo, detrás de una pared o dentro
de otro objeto. En modo Pinpoint, la escala
PINPOINT muestra la intensidad de la señal.
Cuanto más cerca se halla el detector del objeto
de metal, más clara será la luz del indicador y
más fuerte será el tono de señal.
4 ELIM Este botón junto con el botón DISCRIM sirve
para ocultar determinados metales. Mantenga
pulsado el botón ELIM durante 3 segundos.
Se iluminará un indicador en el display y se
conrmará la activación.
5 DISCRIM Si desea ocultar algún tipo de metal, pulse el
botón DISCRIM [+] o [-].
6 SENS Elija uno de los 8 niveles de sensibilidad con
los botones [+] y [-]. Si se iluminan todos los
indicadores, entonces ha elegido el nivel
máximo de sensibilidad. Si se producen
distorsiones, disminuya el nivel de sensibilidad
para una búsqueda mejor (no es relevante en el
modo Pinpoint).
7 GROUND
BALANCE
Se utiliza en modo PINPOINT. Por defecto,
la posición es [P]. Se debe utilizar la función
Ground Balance en suelos muy mineralizados.
Mueva la bobina de búsqueda cerca del suelo y
gire el regulador para eliminar al máximo e ruido
de fondo.

1 Realice varias pruebas de metal antes de utilizar el detector en el exterior,
por ejemplo, con:
• clavos de hierro
• monedas de 10, 20, 50 céntimos de euro (cobre)
• monedas de 1 o 2 euros (cobre/níquel)
• monedas de plata
2 Coloque el detector de metales en una mesa de plástico o madera. Deje
colgando la bobina de búsqueda a 30 cm del borde. Si es posible, mantenga
los objetos de prueba cerca del centro de la bobina de búsqueda.
Importante: Mantenga el detector lejos de otras fuentes de calor. Antes
de la prueba, retire todos los objetos personales de metal, ya que podrían
provocar interferencias.
3 Después de pulsar el botón POWER, el detector emite dos veces un pitido
y se ilumina el display. Después de encenderse, el detector activa el último
modo utilizado.

4 Prueba: Modo ALL METAL
Mueva cada uno de los cuatro objetos de metal a unos 10 cm de la bobina
de búsqueda. El detector emitirá un sonido distinto para cada objeto.
• La distancia con respecto a los objetos se visualizará como 4“.
• La echa de la escala superior indicará de qué metal se trata.
5 Prueba: Modo DISCRIM
Pulse varias veces el botón MODE+ hasta que la echa señale DISCRIM.
Pulse varias veces el botón DISCRIM+ hasta que la echa de la escala
superior indique el metal que desea ocultar. Vuelva a pulsar DISCRIM+,
se apaga la barra de la escala inferior indicando que en la búsqueda se
ignorarán los clavos de hierro. Mueva cada uno de los cuatro objetos de
metal a unos 10 cm de la bobina de búsqueda.
• El aparato no reaccionará en caso de los clavos de hierro.
• La reacción del detector a los otros objetos de metal es la misma que
en el modo ALL METAL.
• Puede ocultar otros metales indeseados repitiendo los pasos descritos
anteriormente.

6 Prueba: Modo JEWELRY
Pulse varias veces el botón MODE+ hasta que la echa señale JEWELRY.
La primera y segunda barra de la escala inferior se apagarán. Mueva cada
uno de los cuatro objetos de metal a unos 10 cm de la bobina de búsqueda.
• El aparato no reaccionará en caso de los clavos de hierro.
• La reacción del detector a los otros objetos de metal es la misma que
en el modo ALL METAL.
7 Prueba: Modo CUSTOM
Pulse varias veces el botón MODE+ hasta que la echa señale CUSTOM.
Para, por ejemplo, omitir la moneda de 50 céntimos, pulse varias veces
el botón DISCRIM+ hasta que la echa de la escala superior señale la
moneda de 50 céntimos. Pulse el botón ELIM y se apagará la barra de la
escala inferior. Cuando utiliza este modo, el detector guarda los ajustes y
los implementa la próxima vez que vuelve a usarlo. Mueva cada uno de los
cuatro objetos de metal a unos 10 cm de la bobina de búsqueda.
• El aparato no reaccionará en caso de la moneda de 50 céntimos.
• La reacción del detector a los otros objetos de metal es la misma que
en el modo ALL METAL.
• Utilice el botón DISCRIM+ para ocultar otros metales durante la
búsqueda.

8 Prueba: Modo COINS
Pulse varias veces el botón MODE+ hasta que la echa señale COINS.
Las echas debajo del clavo de hierro, tapón de botella y lengüeta de lata
desaparecen, indicando que el aparato no reaccionará a los 3 metales
más comunes. Mueva cada uno de los cuatro objetos de metal a unos 10
cm de la bobina de búsqueda. Atención: El aparato no reaccionará a las
monedas que estén hechas de restos metálicos.
• El aparato no reaccionará en caso de los clavos de hierro.
• La reacción del detector a los otros objetos de metal es la misma que
en el modo ALL METAL.
9 Prueba: Modo PINPOINT
• Mantenga pulsado el botón PINPOINT. Se ilumina el indicador
PinPoint. El indicador de la profundidad señala [8+]. Los indicadores de
las escalas superior e inferior se apagan. El detector emite un sonido
grave. Si los indicadores no se apagan, suelte el botón PINPOINT y
repita el procedimiento.

• Tan pronto como se apaguen las echas de la escala superior, mueva,
por ejemplo, una moneda de 20 céntimos cerca de la bobina de
búsqueda. A una distancia de 8“, las echas empiezan a iluminarse y
se emite un sonido. Cuanto más cerca está la moneda de la bobina de
búsqueda, más fuerte es la señal.
• Sujete la moneda y suelte el botón PINPOINT. Vuelva a pulsar el botón
transcurridos unos segundos. Se apaga la escala inferior, el sonido
emitido es normal y se iluminan todos los indicadores de profundidad.
• Vuelva a color la moneda cerca del centro de la bobina de búsqueda,
las barras cambian, el sonido se hace más fuerte y el indicador de
profundidad disminuye.
• Repita la prueba con otros metales.

USO EN EL EXTERIOR
Los detectores de metal están diseñados para usarse en el exterior. No utilice
el detector de metal cerca de fuentes de alimentación y en lugares con mucho
metal. La detección de campo es algo complicada, pues inuyen mucho los
factores como características del suelo, tamaño, forma y grado de oxidación.
Cuanto más utilice el aparato, más experiencia ganará y obtendrá resultados
de manera más exacta y óptima.
(1) Encender el aparato
Después de pulsar el botón POWER, el detector emite dos veces un pitido
y se ilumina el display. Después de encenderse, el detector activa el último
modo utilizado.
(2) Congurar el modo
Empiece con el modo ALL METAL. Si desea buscar un metal determinado,
elija uno de los modos descritos anteriormente. Dado que las propiedades
del suelo son variadas, le recomendamos realizar distintas pruebas de
metal y ajustar las conguraciones del detector para obtener el mejor
resultado posible. El uso del modo PINPOINT también puede ayudar a
aumentar la exactitud y a visualizar la contaminación del suelo.
(3) Congurar la sensibilidad
Cuanto más baja es la sensibilidad, más exacto es el resultado; en un
terreno muy mineralizado, una sensibilidad alta conduce, a veces, a
resultados indeseados. Elija una sensibilidad que sea la más adecuada
para el tipo de suelo en el que busca. Si trabaja cerca de otro buscador,
manténgase a una distancia mínima de 10 metros de él para no interferir
en sus resultados.

(4) Cómo mover la bobina correctamente
Al mover la bobina, intente mantener un ritmo uniforme. Los movimientos
bruscos impiden que el detector sondee correctamente la tierra. Mueva la
bobina en posición paralela al suelo y evite balancearla a modo de péndulo.
Mueva la bobina a una velocidad lenta y constante.
(5) Reconocimiento de metal según la fuerza del sonido
Al sondear la tierra, a veces el sonido es más importante que la imagen en
el display. Existen 4 niveles de sonido que le pueden ayudar a reconocer el
tipo de metal:
• Nivel bajo: metales ferrosos como hierro, tapas, etc.
• Nivel medio bajo: monedas de níquel, etc.
• Nivel medio alto: lengüetas de latas, monedas de 1 y 2 euros.
• Nivel alto: cobre, aluminio, plata, etc.
(6) Pinpoint
Cuando se mueve, es muy fácil encontrar un objeto metálico, pero es
bastante difícil determinar la localización exacta de dicho objeto. Después
de que el detector haya encontrado algo, cambie al modo PINPOINT para
determinar la ubicación exacta.

botón transcurridos unos segundos. Los indicadores se apagan y se
emite un sonido débil. Acerque lentamente la bobina hacia el objeto
hasta que el sonido se haga más fuerte y el indicador de profundidad,
más claro.
• Repita estos pasos hasta determinar exactamente la ubicación.
• Cuando se visualice una profundidad de 2-4“, signica que el objeto
está cerca del centro de la bobina.
• Atención: en modo PINPOINT, el indicador de profundidad es
también indicador de la intensidad de la señal.
(7) Congurar Ground Balance
Antes de usar el modo PINPOINT, active el modo Ground Balance
pulsando el botón correspondiente. Esta función sirve para ocultar
minerales en los suelos muy mineralizados.
• Encuentre un lugar del suelo que no contenga minerales. Posicione el
regulador de Ground Balance en [P].
• Eleve la bobina de búsqueda a 1 metro sobre el suelo (ver imagen).
Pulse el botón PINPOINT y coloque la bobina a aprox.1,5 cm sobre el
suelo.

• Si la frecuencia de la señal y la intensidad de la señal no varían,
signica que Ground Balance está correctamente congurado.
• Si hubo cambios, tendrá que volver a congurar Ground Balance.
• Vuelva a elevar la bobina y gire el botón de Ground Balance unos 15
grados en el sentido de las agujas del reloj.
• Pulse de nuevo el botón PINPOINT y coloque la bobina a aprox.1,5 cm
sobre el suelo.
• Si vuelve a haber cambios, repita este procedimiento hasta congurar
Ground Balance. Al bajar la bobina, no se tienen que producir grandes
cambios.
• Congure Ground Balance lentamente para no ajustar bruscamente la
sensibilidad, sino bajarla.
• Atención: En suelos muy mineralizados o magnéticos, es posible que
sea más difícil congurar correctamente Ground Balance.
(8) Intensidad y ubicación
• Los 5 modos de funcionamiento, que se eligen con el botón MODE,
son modos que permiten libre movimiento. Muestran el tipo, la
profundidad y el lugar donde se encuentra el metal.
• Cuando se detecta la ubicación y el tipo de metal del objeto, se emite
una señal repetitiva. Si no es el caso, es posible que sea un objeto falso,
un objeto muy oxidado o restos metálicos.
• Tan pronto como se detecte un objeto, la echa de la escala superior
señala el tipo de metal. Los resultados en un suelo neutro son los
mismos que en un suelo muy mineralizado.
• Los objetos de oro pequeños y nos se visualizan como las monedas
de 10 céntimos, mientras que los objetos dorados grandes, como
lengüetas de lata o monedas de 50 céntimos. El tamaño se indica
cuando el tamaño del objeto es igual o superior al de una moneda de
10 céntimos.

• La plata se visualiza en la parte derecha y cuanto más grande sea el
objeto, más a la derecha estará el indicador.
• La indicación de la profundidad de los objetos de tamaño de una
moneda es muy precisa, mientras que la de los objetos más grandes
y de forma irregular varía en lectura. En este caso, es mejor volver a
sondear varias veces el terreno para obtener un resultado óptimo. Si la
indicación de la profundidad sigue variando, es posible que haya más
de un objeto.
• Como se ha mencionado anteriormente, el detector muestra, en
territorios desconocidos, diferentes resultados según el tipo de suelo
y la composición de los objetos buscados. En diferentes circunstancias,
hay que ocultar determinados tipos de metal para no omitir el metal
deseado.
(9) Uso del modo Non-Motion
Este modo es el más rápido para detectar un objeto. En suelos ricos en
minerales o en una ubicación estrecha, el modo PINPOINT puede ser la
mejor opción para detectar un objeto. Elija el modo PINPOINT y mueva
lentamente la bobina.

3 Desserrez l‘écrou de blocage au bout du tube central, appuyez ensuite sur
le bouton argenté sur le tube supérieur et insérez-le dans le tube central.
Resserrez ensuite l‘écrou de blocage.
4 Réglez la longueur totale du détecteur pour garder vos bras droits
pendant les recherches. Une fois la longueur désirée déterminée, serrez
les écrous de blocage. La détection en sera plus facile et plus confortable.
5 L‘accoudoir a trois positions. Utilisez la vis de xation triangulaire pour
xer l‘accoudoir dans la bonne position, en fonction de la longueur de vos

1 Afchage du mode : Afche le mode de fonctionnement sélectionné
parmi les 5 modes existants. Sélectionnez d‘autres modes en appuyant sur
le bouton [+] ou [-].
2 Afchage du métal cible : En haut de l‘écran, les trois métaux sont
afchés, en fonction du métal que vous recherchez.

5 Afchage de la profondeur cible : comprend 4 réglages: 2 „(5 cm), 4“ (10
cm), 6 „(15 cm) et 8+“ (20 cm), indiquant la profondeur approximative de
la pièce en fonction de la taille, du métal et du sol. En mode Pinpoint, le
détecteur peut déterminer plus précisément la cible.

3 PINPOINT Maintenez le bouton PINPOINT pour
déterminer l'emplacement exact d'une cible
cachée dans le sol, derrière un mur ou dans
un autre objet. Lors de la localisation, l'échelle
PINPOINT indique la force du signal. Plus le
détecteur est proche de l'objet métallique, plus
le voyant s'allume et plus le signal sonore est
puissant.
4 ELIM Cette touche peut être utilisée avec le bouton
DISCRIM pour éliminer certains métaux.
Appuyez et maintenez le bouton ELIM pendant
trois secondes. Un voyant s'allume sur l'écran et
conrme l'activation.
5 DISCRIM Retirer les types de métaux en appuyant sur
DISCRIM [+] ou [-].
6 SENS Choisissez entre 8 niveaux de sensibilité
différents en appuyant sur le bouton [+] ou [-].
Si tous les voyants sont allumés, la sensibilité
est la plus élevée. Si vous rencontrez des
interférences, la réduction de la sensibilité
fournira une meilleure détection (non
pertinente pour le mode de localisation).
7 GROUND
BALANCE
Utilisé en mode PINPOINT. Par défaut,
la position [P] est dénie. Pour les sols
fortement minéralisés, utilisez Ground Balance
(équilibrage du sol). Déplacez la bobine du
détecteur près du sol et tournez le bouton
jusqu‘à ce que vous éliminiez le plus de bruit de
fond possible.

MISE EN MARCHE ET TEST
1 Testez l‘appareil avec un échantillon métallique avant de faire des
recherches à l‘extérieur, par ex. avec :
• Un clou de fer
• Des pièces de monnaie de 10/20/50 centimes d‘euro (en cuivre)
• Des pièces de 1 ou 2 euros (cuivre/nickel)
• Des pièces d‘argent
2 Placez délicatement le détecteur sur une table en bois ou en plastique,
la bobine de détection dépassant d‘au moins 30 cm du bord. Maintenez
les objets de test aussi centrés que possible sur la bobine de recherche.
Important : Gardez le détecteur à l‘écart des autres sources de courant.
Veuillez retirer tous les objets métalliques personnels avant le test car
ils pourraient interférer avec la détection.
3 Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton POWER, le détecteur émet deux bips
et l‘écran s‘allume. Dès que le détecteur est prêt, il reprend le dernier
mode utilisé avant son précédent arrêt.

4 Test : mode ALL METAL
Effectuez chacun des quatre tests de recherche de métaux 10 cm au-
dessus de la bobine de recherche. Le détecteur émet un son différent pour
chaque recherche.
• La distance de l‘échantillon afchée est de 4“.
• La èche de l‘échelle supérieure indique de quel métal il s‘agit.
5 Test: mode DISCRIM
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE + jusqu‘à ce que la èche pointe sur
DISCRIM. Appuyez sur le bouton DISCRIM + jusqu‘à ce que la èche
de l‘échelle supérieure s‘allume sous le métal que vous voulez exclure.
Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton DISCRIM + et le segment sur l‘échelle
inférieure s‘éteint, ignorant désormais le clou en fer pendant la recherche.
Placez chacun des quatre objets métalliques 10 cm au-dessus de la bobine.
• Le détecteur ne réagit pas au clou de fer.
• La réaction du détecteur au-dessus des trois autres objets métalliques
est la même qu‘en mode ALL METAL.
• Si vous répétez les étapes ci-dessus, vous pouvez exclure d‘autres
métaux indésirables.

6 Test : mode JEWELRY

7 Test : mode CUSTOM
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE + jusqu‘à ce que la èche pointe sur
CUSTOM. Pour exclure par exemple la pièce de 1 livre, appuyez sur le
bouton DISCRIM + jusqu‘à ce que la èche de l‘échelle supérieure pointe
vers la pièce de 1 livre. Appuyez sur le bouton ELIM, le segment de l‘échelle
inférieure s‘éteint. Si vous utilisez ce mode, le détecteur mémorisera le
réglage et le rappellera au prochain démarrage. Placez chacun des quatre
objets métalliques 10 cm au-dessus de la bobine.
• Le détecteur ne réagit pas à la pièce de 1 livre.
• La réaction du détecteur aux trois autres objets métalliques est la
même qu‘en mode ALL METAL.
• En utilisant le bouton DISCRIM + vous pouvez exclure plusieurs

COINS. Les segments sous les clous de fer, les bouchons de bouteilles et
les languettes de canette disparaissent, éliminant ainsi les trois métaux
les plus courants contenus dans les déchets. Placez chacun des quatre
objets métalliques 10 cm au-dessus de la bobine. Remarque : les pièces
contenant l‘un des trois métaux considérés comme des déchets sont
également éliminées.
• Le détecteur ne réagit pas au clou en fer.
• La réaction du détecteur aux trois autres objets métalliques est la
même qu‘en mode ALL METAL.
9 Test : mode PINPOINT
• Maintenez le bouton PINPOINT, le témoin PINPOINT s‘allume.
L‘indicateur de profondeur de pièce indique [8+]. Les afchages de
l‘échelle supérieure et inférieure disparaissent tous. Le détecteur
émet une tonalité profonde. Si les afchages ne s‘éteignent pas,
relâchez le bouton PINPOINT et réessayez.

• Lorsque les indicateurs de l‘échelle supérieure sont éteints, amenez
par ex une pièce de 2 pence vers la bobine de recherche. À partir d‘une
distance de 8“ les segments commencent à briller et un signal retentit.
Plus la pièce est proche de la bobine de recherche, plus le son devient
fort.
• Tenez bien la pièce et relâchez le bouton PINPOINT. Appuyez à
nouveau sur le bouton au bout de quelques secondes. L‘échelle
inférieure disparaît, le son revient à la normale et l‘afchage de la
profondeur revient à l‘échelle entière.
• Rapprochez à nouveau la pièce vers le milieu de la bobine et les
segments tournent, le son est plus fort et l‘afchage de la profondeur
plus faible.
• Répétez l‘essai avec d‘autres métaux.

UTILISATION A L‘EXTÉRIEUR
Les détecteurs de métaux sont principalement destinés à une utilisation
en extérieur. N‘utilisez pas le détecteur à proximité de sources de courant
et de lieux comportant beaucoup de métal. La détection sur le terrain peut
également être compliquée en raison des conditions du sol, de la taille, de
la forme et de l‘oxydation des métaux. Plus vous pratiquez, plus vous serez
expérimenté, et obtiendrez ainsi des résultats meilleurs et plus précis.
(1) Allumer l‘appareil
Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton POWER, le détecteur émet deux bips
et toutes les icônes d‘écran s‘allument brièvement. Une fois le détecteur
prêt, il détecte le mode dans lequel il se trouvait avant sa dernière
extinction.
(2) Réglage du mode d‘utilisation
Commencez avec le mode ALL METAL. Si vous recherchez un métal
particulier, réglez le détecteur sur l‘un des modes précédemment décrits.
Comme les conditions du sol varient, il est parfois judicieux de prélever
des échantillons de certains métaux, de les enterrer, puis d‘ajuster les
réglages du détecteur pour obtenir les résultats les plus précis possibles.
L‘utilisation du mode PINPOINT peut également aider à augmenter la
précision et à afcher la contamination du sol.
(3) Réglage de la sensibilité
Plus la sensibilité est faible, plus les résultats sont précis ; cependant,
lorsqu‘un sol contient beaucoup de minéraux, cela conduit également à
des résultats indésirables. Réglez la sensibilité pour obtenir les meilleurs
résultats pour ce type de sol. Lorsque vous travaillez à proximité d‘un
autre chercheur, restez à au moins 10 mètres de distance an de ne pas
perturber les résultats de l‘autre personne.

(4) Le bon schéma de déplacement
Essayez de maintenir un rythme de balancier régulier. Des mouvements
saccadés peuvent empêcher le détecteur de sonder le sol assez
rapidement. Tenez la bobine de recherche parallèle au sol, sans former
d‘angle. Déplacez-vous dans un mouvement constant et lent.
(5) Reconnaissance des métaux grâce à la hauteur du son
Lors de la détection, le son est parfois plus utile que de regarder l‘écran.
Quatre hauteurs de son peuvent vous aider à reconnaître quel type de
métal a été découvert :
• son grave : métaux ferreux tels que le fer, les couvercles, etc.
• son moyen bas : languettes, pièces de nickel de 10 pence, etc.
• son moyen aigu : rabats de boîte, pièces de 1 et 2 livres
• son aigu : cuivre, aluminium, argent, etc.
(6) Pinpoint
En mode mouvement, il est possible de localiser un objet métallique, mais
l‘emplacement exact est difcile à trouver. Lorsque le détecteur a trouvé
quelque chose, passez en mode PINPOINT pour obtenir l‘emplacement
exact.

Déplacez lentement la bobine de recherche autour de la cible, jusqu‘à
ce que le son soit plus fort et que le voyant de profondeur soi plus
lumineux.
• Répétez ce processus plusieurs fois jusqu‘à ce que la position exacte et
la profondeur soient connues.
• Lorsqu‘une profondeur de 2-4“ s‘afche, l‘objet est proche du centre
de la bobine de recherche.
• Remarque : En mode PINPOINT, l‘indicateur de profondeur est
également indicateur de puissance du signal.
(7) Réglage de Ground Balance
Avant d‘utiliser le mode PINPOINT, utilisez le bouton Ground Balance
pour régler le détecteur. Cela aide à éliminer les minéraux dans les sols qui
en contiennent beaucoup.
• Trouver une zone de sol sans métal. Réglez le paramètre Ground
Balance sur [P].
• Soulevez la bobine de recherche à plus d‘un mètre au-dessus du sol
(voir photo). Appuyez sur le bouton PINPOINT et amenez la bobine à
environ 1,5 cm au-dessus du sol.

• Si la fréquence du signal et la puissance du signal ne changent pas de
manière évidente, alors la Ground Balance est déjà réglée.
• S‘il y a un changement évident quand vous approchez du sol, vous
devez ajuster Ground Balance.
• Soulevez à nouveau la bobine de recherche et tournez le bouton
Ground Balance de 15 degrés dans le sens des aiguilles d‘une montre.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton PINPOINT et amenez la bobine à
environ 1,5 cm du sol.
• S‘il y a un changement évident à nouveau, répétez le processus jusqu‘à
ce que Ground Balance soit réglée et qu‘il n‘y ait pas de changement
majeur lors de l‘abaissement.
• Ajustez lentement Ground Balance pour ne pas régler trop fort la
sensibilité et réduire ainsi la précision de la localisation.
• Remarque : Dans les sols fortement minéralisés ou magnétiques, il
peut être difcile d‘obtenir le bon réglage de Ground Balance.
(8) Profondeur et lieu cible
• Les cinq modes sélectionnés avec le bouton MODE sont tous
des modes de mouvement. Ils indiquent un type de métal brut, la
profondeur et l‘emplacement.
• Lorsque la position et le type de métal de l‘objet sont détectés, un
bip sonore répété retentit. Si ce n‘est pas le cas, il peut s‘agir d‘une
mauvaise cible, d‘un déchet métallique ou d‘un objet fortement oxydé.
• Une fois qu‘un objet métallique est détecté, la èche du haut indique
le type de métal. Les résultats sont plus précis sur un sol neutre que
sur un sol fortement minéralisé.
• Les objets en or plus petits et plus ns donnent un résultat comparable
à la pièce de 10 pence, tandis que les pièces en or plus grandes
indiquent la languette de canette ou la pièce de 1 livre. Le plus grand
n‘est afché que si l‘objet est au moins aussi gros qu‘une pièce de 2
pence.

• L‘argent est afché sur la droite, et plus l‘objet est grand, plus il
apparaît à droite.
• L‘indicateur de profondeur pour les objets de la taille d‘une pièce est
très précis mais la lecture des objets de forme irrégulière peut varier.
Dans ce cas, traverser plusieurs fois la même zone peut conduire à de
meilleurs résultats. Si l‘afchage de la profondeur varie encore, il se
peut que plusieurs objets aient été détectés.
• Comme déjà mentionné, dans les zones inconnues le détecteur montre
des résultats différents en fonction du type de sol et de la composition
des objets trouvés. Il se peut que vous deviez éliminer certains types
de métaux pour ne pas manquer les métaux recherchés.
(9) Utilisation du mode Non-Motion
C‘est le type de détection le plus réactif. Dans les sols fortement
minéralisés ou dans des espaces connés, le mode PINPOINT peut être le
meilleur choix pour la détection d‘objets. Déplacez lentement la bobine de
recherche en mode PINPOINT.

1 Indicazione della modalità: indica il tipo di funzionamento selezionato tra
i 5 disponibili. Selezionare le diverse modalità con i tasti (+) o (-).
2 Indicazione del metallo che si sta cercando: sul bordo superiore dello
schermo sono mostrati tre metalli, a seconda di quale metallo si sta
cercando.
3 Scala superiore: composta da 12 frecce, che permettono di individuare
con la massima precisione possibile e di differenziare l’oggetto che si
sta cercando. In modalità ALL METAL tutte e 12 le frecce si illuminano.
Selezionando la modalità, le frecce dei metalli esclusi non si illuminano. In

3 PINPOINT Tenere premuto il tasto PINPOINT per
determinare con precisione il luogo esatto di
un obbiettivo che è nascosto nel terreno, dietro
a un muro o a un altro oggetto. In modalità
Pinpoint, la scala di PINPOINT indica l’intensità
del segnale. Più vicino il metal detector si trova
all’oggetto metallico, più luminosa diventerà
l’indicazione e maggiore sarà il volume del
segnale acustico.
4 ELIM Questo tasto, insieme al tasto DISCRIM, può
essere utilizzato per eliminare determinati
metalli. Tenere premuto ELIM per tre secondi.
Un’indicazione si illumina sullo schermo e
conferma l’attivazione.
5 DISCRIM Rimuovere tipi di metallo premendo DISCRIM
(+) o (-).
6 SENS Selezionare tra 8 livelli di sensibilità, premendo
(+) o (-). Se tutte le indicazioni si illuminano,
signica che ci si trova al livello di sensibilità
massima. Quando si incontrano degli elementi di
disturbo, abbassando la sensibilità si ottiene una
migliore rilevazione (non rilevante in modalità
Pinpoint).
7 GROUND
BALANCE
Si utilizza in modalità Pinpoint. L’impostazione
di fabbrica è la posizione (P). In caso di terreni
con grande presenza di minerali, va utilizzata la
funzione Ground Balance (Taratura del terreno).
Muovere la bobina del metal detector vicino al
terreno e ruotare la manopola di regolazione,
no ad eliminare il maggior numero di rumori di
fondo.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE E TEST
1 Testare il dispositivo con un campione metallico, prima di iniziare
l’esplorazione all’esterno, ad es. con:
• Un ago di ferro
• Monete da 10/20/50 centesimi di Euro (rame)
• Monete da 1 o 2 Euro (rame/nichel)
• Monete d’argento
2 Posare con cura il metal detector su un tavolo di legno o plastica, facendo
in modo che la bobina sporga di almeno 30 cm dall’estremità. Tenere
l’oggetto per il test possibilmente centrato sopra alla bobina. Importante:
tenere il metal detector lontano da altre fonti di corrente. Durante il test,
si prega di rimuovere tutti gli oggetti metallici, in quanto potrebbero
interferire con il rilevamento.
3 Dopo aver premuto il tasto POWER, il metal detector emette due segnali
acustici e lo schermo si illumina. Non appena il metal detector è pronto,
riattiva la modalità che era in funzione prima dell’ultimo spegnimento.

4. Test: modalità ALL METAL
Portare ognuno dei quattro campioni di metallo a circa 10 cm sopra la
bobina di esplorazione. Il metal detector emette un suono diverso per ogni
campione.
• La distanza del campione viene indicata come 4”.
• La freccia della scala superiore mostra di che metallo si tratta.
5. Test: modalità DISCRIM
Premere il tasto MODE+, no a quando la freccia si trova su DISCRIM.
Premere il tasto DISCRIM+, no a quando la freccia della scala superiore si
illumina sotto al metallo che deve essere escluso. Premere di nuovo il tasto
DISCRIM+ e il segmento nella scala inferiore si spegne, in modo che l’ago
di ferro sia ignorato durante l’esplorazione. Portare ognuno dei quattro
campioni di metallo a circa 10 cm sopra la bobina di esplorazione.
• Il metal detector non reagisce all’ago di ferro.
• La reazione del metal detector agli altri tre oggetti metallici è uguale a
quella in modalità ALL METAL.
• Ripetendo i passaggi sopracitati è possibile escludere anche altri
metalli.

6 Test: modalità JEWELRY
Premere il tasto MODE+ no a quando la freccia indica su JEWELRY. Il
primo e il secondo segmento della scala inferiore si spengono. Portare
ognuno dei quattro campioni di metallo a circa 10 cm sopra la bobina di
esplorazione.
• Il metal detector non reagisce all’ago di ferro.
• La reazione del metal detector agli altri tre oggetti metallici è uguale a
quella in modalità ALL METAL.
7 Test: modalità CUSTOM
Premere il tasto MODE+ no a quando la freccia indica su CUSTOM. Per
escludere, ad es., la moneta da un pound, premere il tasto DISCRIM+ no
a quando la freccia della scala superiore indica la moneta da 1 pound.
Premere il tasto ELIM e il segmento nella scala inferiore si spegne.
Utilizzando questa modalità, il metal detector salva le impostazioni e le
riattiva all’accensione successiva. Portare ognuno dei quattro campioni di
metallo a circa 10 cm sopra la bobina di esplorazione.
• Il metal detector non reagisce alla moneta da 1 pound.
• La reazione del metal detector agli altri tre oggetti metallici è uguale a
quella in modalità ALL METAL.
• Utilizzando il tasto DISCRIM+ è possibile escludere anche altri metalli.

8 Test: modalità COINS
Premere il tasto MODE+ no a quando la freccia indica su COINS.
I segmenti sotto a aghi di ferro, tappi di bottiglia metallici e lattine
scompaiono, escludendo in tal modo i più diffusi metalli di scarto
dall’esplorazione. Portare ognuno dei quattro campioni di metallo a circa
10 cm sopra la bobina di esplorazione. Avvertenza: anche le monete che
contengono uno dei tre metalli di scarto vengono escluse.
• Il metal detector non reagisce all’ago di ferro.
• La reazione del metal detector agli altri tre oggetti metallici è uguale a
quella in modalità ALL METAL.
9 Test: modalità PINPOINT
• Tenere premuto il tasto PINPOINT e l’indicazione PINPOINT si
illumina. L’indicazione per la profondità della moneta mostra (8+).
Tutte le indicazioni delle scale superiore e inferiore si spengono. Il
metal detector emette un segnale acustico di bassa tonalità. Se le
indicazioni non si spengono, lasciare andare il tasto PINPOINT e
ripetere la procedura.

• Non appena le indicazioni della scala superiore si sono spente, portare,
ad es., una moneta da 2 pence verso la bobina di esplorazione. Da una
distanza di 8”, i segmenti cominciano a illuminarsi e viene emesso un
segnale acustico. Più si avvicina la moneta, maggiore sarà il volume del
segnale acustico.
• Tenere saldamente la moneta e lasciare andare il tasto PINPOINT.
Premere nuovamente il tasto dopo alcuni secondi. La scala inferiore si
spegne, il segnale acustico torna a un livello normale e l’indicazione di
profondità torna ad essere a scala completa.
• Muovere la moneta verso il centro della bobina e i segmenti tornano,
il segnale acustico aumenta di volume e l’indicazione di profondità
diventa più debole.
• Ripetere il test anche con altri metalli.

UTILIZZO ALL’APERTO
I metal detector sono destinati innanzitutto all’utilizzo all’aperto. Non
utilizzare il metal detector nelle vicinanze di fonti di corrente o di luoghi con
molto metallo. Il rilevamento può essere reso difcoltoso anche dal tipo di
terreno, dalla grandezza, dalla forma e dall’ossidazione dei metalli. Più ci si
esercita, più esperienza si raccoglie e migliori saranno i risultati raggiunti.
1 Accendere il dispositivo
Dopo aver premuto il tasto POWER, il metal detector emette due segnali
acustici e lo schermo si illumina. Non appena il metal detector è pronto,
riattiva la modalità che era in funzione prima dell’ultimo spegnimento.
2 Impostare il tipo di funzionamento
Iniziare con la modalità ALL METAL. Se si desidera un tipo particolare
di metallo, impostare il metal detector su una delle modalità descritte
in precedenza. Le condizioni del terreno possono essere differenti,
per questo è una buona idea portare con sé campioni di diversi metalli,
sotterrarli e regolare poi le impostazioni del metal detector per ottenere
risultati il più precisi possibile. L’utilizzo della modalità PINPOINT aiuta
anche a incrementare la precisione e a indicare la contaminazione del
terreno.
3 Impostare la sensibilità
Più bassa è la sensibilità, più precisi sono i risultati; in terreni che
contengono molti minerali, ciò può però portare anche a risultati
indesiderati. Impostare la sensibilità in modo da ottenere i migliori risultati
in base al tipo di terreno. Se operate nei pressi di un altro esploratore,
tenetevi ad almeno 10 metri di distanza per non disturbare i suoi risultati.

4 Il corretto movimento
Cercare di tenere un ritmo di ondeggiamento costante. Movimenti bruschi
possono portare il metal detector a non scandagliare il terreno con
sufciente velocità. Tenere la bobina di esplorazione parallela al terreno e
non inclinata. Muoversi a movimenti lenti e costanti.
5 Riconoscimento dei metalli in base all’altezza del suono
Durante il rilevamento, a volte il suono è più utile di ciò che mostra lo
schermo. Ci sono quattro altezze del segnale acustico, che aiutano a
riconoscere il tipo di metallo rilevato:
• Suono basso: metalli ferrei come ferro, coperchi, ecc.
• Suono medio-basso: linguette, monete in nichel da 10 pence, ecc.
• Suono medio: linguette di lattine, monete da 1 e 2 pound.
• Suono alto: rame, alluminio, argento, ecc.
6 Realizzare il Pinpoint
Quando ci si trova in modalità di movimento è possibile localizzare
qualcosa di metallico, sebbene sia difcile individuare la posizione esatta.
Dopo che il metal detector ha registrato qualcosa, passare in modalità
PINPOINT per risalire alla posizione esatta.

• Tenere premuto il tasto PINPOINT e l’indicazione PINPOINT si
illumina. L’indicazione per la profondità della moneta mostra (8+). Tutte
le indicazioni delle scale superiore e inferiore si spengono. Il metal
detector emette un segnale acustico di bassa tonalità. Se le indicazioni
non si spengono, lasciare andare il tasto PINPOINT e ripetere la
procedura.
• Non appena ci si trova in modalità PINPOINT, muovere lentamente
la bobina verso l’oggetto, no a quando un segnale acustico di forte
intensità indica la posizione esatta dell’oggetto. Non appena è stata
denita la posizione, il suono diventerà più forte e l’indicazione di
profondità da raggiungere più luminosa.
• Tenere il metal detector in questa posizione e lasciare andare il
tasto PINPOINT. Premere nuovamente il tasto dopo alcuni secondi.
L’indicazione si spegne e viene emesso un unico suono più basso.
Muovere lentamente la bobina intorno all’obbiettivo, no a quando
diventerà più forte e l’indicazione di profondità più luminosa.
• Ripetere questa procedura più volte no ad aver determinato la
posizione e la profondità esatte.
• Se viene indicata una profondità di 2-4”, l’oggetto si trova vicino al
centro della bobina.
• Avvertenza: in modalità PINPOINT l’indicazione di profondità diventa
al contempo indicazione dell’intensità del segnale.
7 Impostare Ground Balance
Prima di utilizzare la modalità PINPOINT, impostare il metal detector con
la manopola Ground Balance. Questo aiuta a eliminare i minerali da terreni
che ne sono particolarmente ricchi.
• Trovare un punto del terreno privo di metalli. Posizionare
l’impostazione Ground Balance su (P).
• Sollevare la bobina a più di un metro da terra (v. immagine). Premere il
tasto PINPOINT e portare la bobina a circa 1,5 cm sopra il terreno.

• Se la frequenza e l’intensità del segnale non mostrano chiari
cambiamenti, Ground Balance è impostato.
• Se c’è un chiaro cambiamento quando ci si avvicina al terreno è
necessario regolare Ground Balance.
• Sollevare nuovamente la bobina e ruotare la manopola Ground
Balance di 15 gradi in senso orario.
• Se dovesse esserci nuovamente un chiaro cambiamento, ripetere la
procedura no a quando Ground Balance è impostato e nell’abbassare
non c’è più un grande cambiamento.
• Regolare lentamente Ground Balance per non impostare una
sensibilità troppo forte e in tal modo diminuirla.
• Avvertenza: in terreni ricchi di minerali o magnetici può risultare
difcile impostare Ground Balance correttamente.
8 Profondità e luogo da raggiungere
• Le 5 modalità di funzionamento selezionabili con il tasto MODE sono
tutte modalità in movimento. Indicano approssimativamente un tipo di
metallo, la profondità e la posizione.
• Se la posizione e il tipo di metallo dell’oggetto sono stati rilevati, viene
emesso ripetutamente un segnale acustico. Se non è così, può trattarsi
di un obbiettivo errato, di un metallo di scarto o di un oggetto molto
ossidato.
• Non appena è stato trovato un oggetto metallico, la freccia della scala
superiore indica il tipo di metallo. I risultati sono più precisi su terreni
neutrali che su terreni ricchi di minerali.
• Piccoli oggetti d’oro sottili danno un risultato simile a monete da 10
pence, mentre pezzi d’oro più grossi sono più simili a linguette delle
lattine o a monete da 1 pound. Il più grosso viene indicato solo se
l’oggetto è grosso almeno come una moneta da 2 pence.

• L’argento viene indicato a destra: più grosso è l’oggetto, più a destra
sarà l’indicazione.
• L’indicazione della profondità per oggetti grandi come monete è
molto precisa, mentre per oggetti più grandi o con forma irregolare la
lettura può variare. In tal caso il passaggio ripetuto sopra allo stesso
settore porta a risultati di misurazione migliori. Se l’indicazione della
profondità continua a variare, può essere che siano stati rilevati
diversi oggetti.
• Come già accennato, il metal detector mostra in settori sconosciuti
diversi risultati in base al tipo di terreno e alla composizione
dell’oggetto trovato.
9. Utilizzo della modalità Non-Motion
Questa è la modalità di rilevamento con la reazione più rapida. In terreni
ricchi di minerali o in punti stretti, la modalità PINPOINT può essere la
scelta migliore per rilevare oggetti. In modalità PINPOINT, muovere la
bobina lentamente.
RICERCA E CORREZIONE DEGLI ERRORI
