Intended use

■ This device is an information technology device and is

intended exclusively for charging mobile devices that are

charged via a USB port as standard.

■ The device is not intended for any other purpose, nor for

use beyond the scope described.

■ The device is not intended for use in commercial or indus-

trial environments.

■ The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage

caused by failure to observe these instructions, improper

use or repairs, unauthorized modiﬁcations, or the use of

unapproved replacement parts. The risk is borne solely by

the user.

Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for hand-

ling the device. This device complies with statutory safety

regulations. Improper use may result in personal injury and

property damage.

Basic safety instructions

■ Check the device for visible external damage before use.

Do not operate a device that has been damaged or

dropped.

■ Risk of suﬀocation!

Do not allow children to play with the packaging material!

Keep all packaging materials away from children.

■ This device may be used by children aged 8 years and

above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.

Only, if it is provided that they are under supervision or

have been told how to use the device safely and are

aware of the potential risks.

■ Children must not play with the device.

■ Cleaning and maintenance shall not be carried out by

children unless they are supervised.

■ Always place the device on a stable

and level surface. It can be damaged if dropped.

■ Do not place the product near heat sources such as radia-

tors or other heat-generating devices.

■ Do not operate the device close to

open ﬂames (e.g. candles).

■ The device is not designed for use in rooms with high

temperatures or humidity (e.g. bathrooms) or where there

is excessive dust.

■ Do not expose the device to direct

sunlight or high temperatures and do not cover it during

charging. Otherwise, it may overheat and be irreparably

damaged. This particularly applies to storage in a car.

Extreme temperatures can occur in car interiors and glove

compartments during long periods of immobilization.

Remove electrical and electronic devices from the vehicle.

■ Do not use the device immediately after moving it from a

cold room to a warm room. Always allow the device to

acclimatize before turning it on.

■ Never open the device housing.

None of the components in the device can be serviced or

replaced by the user.

■ Do not make any unauthorized modiﬁcations or altera-

tions to the device.

■ All repairs must be carried out by

authorized service centers or by the customer service

department. Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It

will also invalidate any warranty claims.

■ Do not expose the device to water spray or dripping

water, and do not place liquid-ﬁlled objects such as

vases or open drink containers on or near the device.

■ Turn the device oﬀ immediately and disconnect any con-

nected charging cables from the device if you smell

fumes, or notice any smoke. Have the device checked

by a qualiﬁed specialist before using it again.

■ If you are using a USB power supply, the socket you use

must always be easily accessible so that the USB power

supply can be quickly disconnected from the socket in a

hazardous situation. You should also observe the operat-

ing instructions for the USB power supply.

■ Improper use of the batteries can cause

ﬁres, explosions, leakages or other hazards! Do not throw

the device into a ﬁre as the integrated battery could

explode.

powered appliances in locations with speciﬁc hazard

The product includes the following components:

♦ Remove all parts of the device from the packaging and

remove all packaging materials.

Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible

damage.

If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a

result of defective packaging or during transport, contact

the service hotline (see Warranty section).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device from damage

during transport. The packaging materials have

been selected for their environmental friendliness

and ease of disposal and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw

materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated.

Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in

accordance with applicable local regulations.

Charging the power bank

Before using the power bank, the integrated battery must be

fully charged.

► Due to the high battery capacity and bearing in mind the

charging time, the power bank must be charged using a

USB power adapter.

► Use only a USB power adapter with an output voltage of

5V and an output current of at least 2.1A to charge the

power bank.

► Charging takes about 3 hours.

♦ Connect the USB plug of the charger cable to suitable

USB power supply (not supplied).

♦ Connect the micro-USB plug on the charging cable to

the micro-USB charging port (IN) on the power bank.

The current charge level is shown during charging by

means of the charge level LEDs :

Checking the charge level

You can also check the charge level of the power bank when

it is not charged or while it is being used for charging.

♦ Press the ON/OFF button brieﬂy. The charge level

LEDs show the current charge level of the power bank

for about 30 seconds.

Handling and use

Charging mobile devices with the power

bank

♦ Connect the micro-USB plug on the charging cable

to the micro-USB port on the mobile device and the USB

plug to the USB socket (OUT) on the power bank. The

charging process starts automatically.

♦ If charging does not start automatically, press the ON/

OFF button brieﬂy to start the charging process.

Alternatively, you can also use the original charging cable

(USB cable) provided by the respective device manufacturer.

Some devices cannot be charged due to the high start-up

charging current required (higher than 2.1 amps).

♦ During the charging process, the current Power Bank

charge level is shown via the charge level LEDs (see

table in section entitled "Checking the charge level").

♦ To stop charging, disconnect the charging cable from

the mobile device and the power bank. The charge level

LEDs switch oﬀ.

Troubleshooting

The power bank does not charge

♦ Connection may be faulty. Check the connection.

A connected device will not charge

♦ The integrated battery is empty. Charge the battery.

♦ No connection to the device. Check the connection.

♦ Press the ON/OFF button brieﬂy to start the charging

process.

♦ The charging current of the connected device is too low

(< 80 mA) or too high (> 2.1 A).

If you cannot solve the problem with the above-mentioned

solutions, please contact the service hotline (see Warranty

section).

Cleaning

Possible damage to the device.

► There are no serviceable parts or parts requiring cleaning

inside the power bank. Moisture can cause damage to the

device.

► To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that

moisture cannot penetrates the device during cleaning.

► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning

materials. These can damage the surfaces of the device.

♦ Clean the housing of the device with a lightly moistened

cloth and a mild detergent only.

Storage when not in use

♦ Store the device in a location that is clean, dry, dust-free

and not in direct sunlight.

♦ For long-term storage, the integrated battery should be

fully charged to extend its operating life.

Disposal

Electronic devices may not be thrown away as part of normal

household trash. If you can no longer use your electronic

device, dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions

applicable in your state. This will allow you to ensure that old

electronic devices are recycled and environmental pollution is

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

■ Damage, breakage, or inoperability due to defect.

lowing the safety and maintenance instructions provided

in the user manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

■ Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile

parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);

Eliminación del empaque

Carga de la batería externa

Antes de usar la batería externa, la batería integrada debe

estar cargada completamente.

garse con un adaptador de alimentación USB.

► Use solamente un adaptador de alimentación USB con un

voltaje de salida de 5 V y una corriente de salida de por

lo menos 2.1 A para cargar la batería externa.

► La carga se completa en aproximadamente 3 horas.

♦ Conecte el enchufe USB del cable del cargador a una

fuente de alimentación USB (no incluida).

♦ Conecte el enchufe micro USB del cable de carga al

puerto de carga micro USB (IN) en la batería externa.

Revisión del nivel de carga

También puede revisar el nivel de carga la batería externa

cuando no está cargada o mientras se está usando para

cargar.

♦ Presione el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado)

brevemente. Los LED de nivel de carga muestran

el nivel de carga actual de la batería externa durante

aproximadamente 30 segundos.

Manejo y uso

Carga de dispositivos móviles con la batería

externa

♦ Conecte el enchufe micro USB del cable de carga al

puerto micro USB en el dispositivo móvil y el enchufe USB

a la entrada USB (OUT) en la batería externa.

El proceso de carga comienza automáticamente.

♦ Si la carga no comienza inmediatamente, presione el

botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado) brevemente

para iniciar el proceso de carga.

En forma alternativa, también puede usar el cable de carga

original (cable USB) del fabricante del dispositivo corres-

pondiente.

Algunos dispositivos no pueden cargarse debido a la alta

corriente de carga de arranque que se requiere (mayor de

2.1 amperios).

♦ Durante el proceso de carga, el nivel actual de carga de

la Batería externa se muestra a través de los LED de nivel

de carga (vea la tabla en la sección "Revisión del

nivel de carga").

♦ Para detener la carga, desconecte el cable de carga

del dispositivo móvil y de la batería externa. Los LED de

nivel de carga se apagan.

Solución de problemas

La batería externa no carga

♦ La conexión puede estar defectuosa. Revise la conexión.

Un dispositivo conectado no carga

♦ La batería integrada está vacía. Cargue la batería.

♦ No hay conexión con el dispositivo. Revise la conexión.

♦ Presione el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado)

brevemente para comenzar el proceso de carga.

♦ La corriente de carga del dispositivo conectado es dema-

siado baja (< 80 mA) o demasiado alta (> 2.1 A).

Si no puede resolver el problema con las soluciones descritas

anteriormente, póngase en contacto con la línea de aten-

ción de servicio (vea la sección Garantía).

Limpieza

Daño posible al dispositivo.

► No hay partes que requieran servicio o partes que requieran

limpieza dentro de la batería externa. La humedad puede

causar daño al dispositivo.

► Para evitar daño irreparable al dispositivo, asegúrese

de que no penetre humedad en el dispositivo durante la

limpieza.

► No use materiales de limpieza cáusticos, abrasivos ni a

base de solventes. Estos pueden dañar las superﬁcies del

dispositivo.

♦ Limpie la carcasa del dispositivo solamente con una tela

ligeramente humedecida y con detergente suave.

Almacenamiento cuando no se usa

♦ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar limpio, seco, sin polvo

y protegido de la luz solar directa.

♦ Para almacenamiento a largo plazo, la batería integrada

debe estar completamente cargada para extender su

vida operativa.

Eliminación

Los dispositivos electrónicos no deben desecharse como
