INSTALLATION & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack unit. Save carton for off-season storage (if needed).
2. Connect the power cord from the trap (A1) to the end of power cord from the AC adapter (A2).
Secure connection by twisting the plastic nut (B) until snug.
3. Plug AC adapter into power outlet to turn device on.
NOTE: With power cord connected and plugged into an outlet, the trap will operate only when retaining cage is fully
attached (C). The fan and light will not operate when the retaining cage is removed or not seated properly.
4. If hanging the unit, place approximately 3–6 feet above the floor/ground level for optimal catch rate and easy access
for cleaning.
5. For best catch results leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing.
6. Atrakta® Mosquito Attractant is for outdoor use only. The trap may be used indoors without the Atrakta® Mosquito Attractant.
It is recommended to place the unit 20-40 feet away from where people will be sitting.
7. Catch rate activity will be higher at night. For best catch results it is recommended to keep the unit away
from competing light sources. Intended for household indoor and outdoor use only.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS - CLEANING
Frequent cleaning will prolong the life of the unit, ensure fire prevention and provide for more efficient operation.
1. Be sure to clean the unit once per week
2. To clean, unplug the unit.
3. For weekly cleaning, twist the cage clockwise to remove. Remove all buildup from the inside of the retaining cage, funnel,
and fan with a brush.
4. When replacing the retaining cage – DO NOT press/push against the screen windows.
UV-LED
The UV-LED life expectancy is approximately 40,000 hours (or about 4.5 years of continuous 24/7 operation) and are not
replaceable. If you experience any trouble with your Dynatrap UV-LED, please see troubleshooting.
HOW THE DYNATRAP® INSECT TRAP WORKS
Flying insects are attracted to the unit by UV-LED light and CO2 that is generated by the photo-catalysis between the UV-LED lamps
and special TiO2 coating. The fan then pulls the insects into the screened base, trapping them until they dehydrate and die. The
base can be removed, allowing the contents to be periodically emptied into the trash.

Atrakta® Mosquito Attractant attracts mosquitoes,
including those which may transmit West Nile virus,
Encephalitis, Zika virus, Chikungunya virus, to the trap

1. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used near children.
2. Do not contact moving parts.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Connect only to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).
5. Always turn unit off and disconnect plug before servicing or cleaning.

8. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or

9. Do not insert fingers or any foreign objects into the unit while it is connected to an electrical outlet.
10. Collected insects within the unit may contribute to fire, so clean insects from the unit frequently.
11. Do not clean this product with water spray. Do not place where it can fall into water, or near flammable materials.
12. Do not touch fan while in motion.
13. Do not abuse cord—never carry or hang unit by cord or yank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, or sharp edges.
14. Use only extension cords that are clearly marked “Suitable for Use with Outdoor Appliances” and that have plug and
receptacles that match the product plug. Replace all damaged cords.
15. Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
16. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

INSTALACION E INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION
1. Desempaque la unidad. Guarde el cartón para el almacenamiento fuera de temporada (si es necesario).
2. Conecte el cable eléctrico de la trampa (A1) al final del cable eléctrico del adaptador de CA (A2).
Sujete la conexión girando la tuerca de plástico (B) hasta que quede ajustada.
3. Enchufe el adaptador de CA en el tomacorriente para encender el aparato.
Nota: con el cable eléctrico conectado y enchufado en el tomacorriente, la trampa funcionará solamente cuando la cámara
de retención esté completamente conectada (C). El ventilador y la luz no funcionan cuando la cámara de retención se
retira o no se coloca correctamente
4. Si cuelga la unidad en el exterior, colóquela aproximadamente 90 cm a 180 cm por encima del nivel de piso / suelo para
obtener una tasa de captura óptima y fácil acceso para la limpieza.
5. Para obtener los mejores resultados de capturas dejan unidad en todo momento (24/7), excepto cuando la limpieza o el
mantenimiento.
6. La pastilla Atrakta® es sólo para uso en exteriores. La trampa puede utilizarse en interiores sin la pastilla Atrakta®.
Se recomienda colocar la unidad por lo menos 10-20 pies de distancia de donde la gente va a estar sentado.
7. La actividad de captura será mayor durante la noche. Para obtener los mejores resultados de captura, se recomienda

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Y MANTENIMIENTO – LIMPIEZA

4. Cuando remueva la jaula de retención - NO presione la malla de metal, ya que esto causara que se deforme la malla.
UV-LED
El tiempo de vida de las luces LED UV es aproximadamente
de 40,000 horas (o alrededor de 4,5 años de funcionamien-
to continuo, 24/7), los focos no son reemplazables.

LA TRAMPA MOSQUITOS DYNATRAP®
