This pressure washer operates at 3000 PSI with a ﬂow rate of

2.8 gallons per minute. This high quality home and commercial

use system features a 208cc LCT MAXXTM engine, no ﬂat foam

ﬁlled tires, 25’ high pressure hose, and 5 quick connect nozzles.

The emissions control system for this pressure washer is

compliant with all standards set by the Environmental Protection

Agcy.

• This pressure washer is designed to remove dirt and mold

GENERAL SAFETY RULES FOR POWER TOOLS:

WARNING: When using electric tools the following basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk

sf ﬁre, eEectric shock and personal injury.

PLEASE READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE THIS

PRODUCT.

1. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches

invite accidents.

2. DON’T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Do not use

power tools in damp or wet location, or expose them to rain.

Do not operate them in an area with ﬂammable liquids or gases.

Keep work area well lighted.

3. GUAIRD AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK. Avoid body contact

with earthed or grounded surfaces.

4. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. Ml visitors should be kept at a safe

distance from work area. Do not let visitors touch the tool or

extension cord.

5. MAKE WORKSHOP CHILD PROOF. Lock access of your

workshop. When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry

locked up place, out of reach of children.

6. DON’T FORCE TOOL. It will do the job better and safer at the

rate for which it was designed.

7. USE FUGHT TOOL. Don’t force tool or attachment to do a

job for which it was not designed. Do not use tools for purposes

not intends; for example do not use circular saws to cut tree

limbs or logs.

8. WEAR PROPER APPAREL. Do not wear loose clothing,

gloves, neckties, rings, bracelet, or others jewellery, which may

get caught in moving, parts. No slip footwear is recommended.

Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair. Roll long

sleeves above elbows.

9. PLWAYS USE SAFETY. GOGGLES Everyday glasses only

have impact resistant lenses, they are NOT safety glasses. Also

use face or dust mask if butting operation is dusty.

10. CONNECT DUS1 EXTRACTION EQUIPMENT. If devices

are provided for connection of dust extraction and collecting

facilities ensure these are connected and properly used.

11. DO NOT ABUSE THE CORD. Do not use cord to disconnect

during operation. Never yank the cord to disconnect it from the

socket Keep the cord sway heat, oil and sharp edges.

12. SECIJRE WORK. Use clamps or a vice to hold work when

practical. It is safer than using your hand and it frees both hands

to operate tool.

13. DON’T OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance at

all times.

14. MAINTAIN TOOL WITH CARE. Keep tool sharp and clean for

best and safest performance. Follow instructions for lubrication

and changing accessories. Inspect tool cords periodically and if

damages have repaired by an authorized service facility. Inspect

extension cords periodically and replace if damaged. Keep

handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

15. DISCONNECT TOOLS before servicing; when changing

accessories, such as blades, bits, cutters and the like.

16. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form

habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are

removed from tool before turning it on.

17. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING. Ensure switch is off

when plugging in.

18. USE PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your

extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension

cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your

product will draw. An undersize cord will cause a drop in line

Voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. When tool is

used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor

use and so marked.

19. ALWAYS KEEP ALERT. Do not let familiarity gained from

frequent use of your tool cause a careless mistake. Always

remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufﬁcient to

inict severe injury. Watch what you are doing: Use common

sense. Do not operate tool when you are tired.

20. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before further use of the

tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully

checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform

its intended function check for alignment of moving parts,

binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any

other conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or other

part that is damaged should be properly repaired and replaced.

24. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE, and in working order.

25. NEVER STAND ON TOOL. Serious injury could occur if the

tool is tipped or it cufﬁng tool is unintentionally contacted.

26. DIRECTION OF FEED. Feed work into a blade or cutter

against the direction of rotation of the blade or cutter only.

27. NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENTED. TURN

POWER OFF. Don’t leave tool until it comes to a complete stop.

28. THINK SAFETY. Safety is a combination of common sense

and alertness whenever the tool is in operation.

Read and understand this manual in its entirety before operating

this pressure washer. Improper use of this pressure washer

could result in serious injury or death.

Do not operate indoors or in a conﬁned space preventing

dangerous carbon monoxide gas from dissipating.

• Carbon monoxide gas is a poisonous, odorless gas that can

cause fainting, sickness, seizures, or death.

• Keep exhaust from this unit from entering a conned area

through windows, doors, vents, or other openings.

• When working in areas where vapors could be inhaled, use a

respirator mask according to all of its instructions.

Never spray near a power source such as an electrical outlet.

Making contact with a power source could cause an electric

spray gun while system is pressurized.

• Always release water pressure from unit every time you stop

the engine.

WARNING

Moving parts can catch on clothing, jewelry, and hair.

• Do not wear loose clothing or gloves.

• Remove jewelry or anything else that could be caught in

moving parts.

• Wear protective head covering to contain long hair.

WARNING

Pressure washer can create slippery surfaces.

• Never wear sandals, always wear protective footwear.

• Operate pressure washer from a stable surface as recoil from

spray gun could cause you to fall.

• Use extreme caution if operating pressure washer from a

ladder, scaffolding or uneven surface.

• Use both hands to control spray gun to control recoil.

• Do not over-extend yourself in attempt to reach a little further.

WARNING

Stay alert and use common sense. Do not operate this unit if

you under the inﬂuence of drugs, alcohol, medication or you

feel tired.

Starter cord recoils rapidly pulling arm towards engine fasterthan

you can let go which could result in injury.

• Always relieve pressure from spray gun before pulling

startercord, including every failed attempt to start engine.

• To avoid recoil, pull starter cord slowly until resistance is felt,

then pull rapidly.

WARNING

Never operate this unit if there are any broken or missing

parts and only use Power Plus replacement parts speciﬁcally

designed for this unit.

• Always repair this unit as specied in this manual. If you have

any questions contact your dealer or consult a qualiﬁed

service center.

• Never modify this unit in any way or modify governed speed.

Only use this unit as it is intended or serious injury or death

could result.

• Do not bypass any safety device. Moving parts are covered

with guards. Make sure all protective covers are in place.

• Inspect hoses and connections making sure they are secure

before starting engine.

• Use only recommended accessories to avoid damage to this

unit.

• Never carry this unit or make adjustments on it while it is

running.

Use indirect vented safety goggles designed for wet conditions

to protect eyes from injury.

• Spray from this unit has extreme pressure and can ricochet

back splashing water or propelling objects at eyes.

• Never substitute eye protection with dry condition goggles

Avoid contacting hot areas of this unit

• Use caution around the mufer and other engine parts asthey

can be very hot.

• Allow hot components to cool before touching.

WARNING

Keep engine away from ﬂammable objects and other hazardous

materials.

• The fuel and its vapors used to power this unit are highly

ﬂammable and could explode resulting in serious injury or death.

• Never overll fuel tank. If fuel spills, move the unit at least 30

feet away from the spillage area and wipe up any remaining fuel

on the unit before starting the engine.

• Never smoke while operating or fueling this unit.

• Never operate or store this unit near an open ame, heat, or

any other ignition source.

• Keep engine free of grass, leaves, or grease which are

ﬂammable.

• Before adding or draining fuel, unit should be turned off for

at least 2 minutes to cool before removing fuel cap. If unit has

been running the fuel cap is under pressure, remove slowly.

• Do not tip unit when operating or transporting. This will cause

fuel to spill.

• When transporting unit, disconnect the spark plug wire and

make sure the fuel tank is empty with the fuel shutoff valve

turned to the off position. Secure unit so it cannot tip.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ASSEMBLY

ADDING / CHECKING ENGINE OIL (SEE FIG 2)

• Place pressure washer on a level surface.

• Remove one or both of the crankcase dipsticks to ensure you

do not overﬁll the engine.

• Carefully add between 450-500 ml (15-17 oz) of 4-Cycle

engine oil (SAE10W- 30) to empty reservoir until oil reaches the

outer edge of the oil ll hole (Crankcase Dipstick hole).

• Be sure to replace both dipsticks before attempting to start

the engine.

• To check oil, set pressure washer on a level surface, wipe

dipstick clean, then reinsert dipstick without re threading.

Do not attempt to assemble or operate this pressure washer

until you have read and understood the entire manual. If you

have any problems assembling or operating this unit contact

your dealer or a qualiﬁed service center.

UNPACKING

• Remove the high pressure hose from box.

• Once high pressure hose has been removed, carefully open

product by cutting down the sides of the box.

• Remove the product, parts, and all accessories. Make sure all

items listed on the packing list are included.

• Inspect product to make sure no parts are broken or damaged.

ATTACHING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (SEE FIG 1)

• Parts needed - 2 wheels, 2 axle pins, and 2 hair pins.

• Remove hair pins from the wheel axle pins.

• Slide the wheel axle pin through hole located in the center of

the wheel.

• Raise or tilt pressure washer so you can slide the wheel axle

pin into the wheel mounting hole located on the side of the

frame.

• Secure the wheel assembly by reinserting a hair pin through

hole at the end of the wheel axle and pressing until it locks into

place.

• Repeat process on the other side of the pressure washer to

install the second wheel.

ADDING FUEL (SEE FIG 3)

• Set pressure washer on a clean and level surface in an area

that is well ventilated.

• Remove fuel cap.

• Insert a funnel into the fuel tank and carefully pour gasoline

into the tank until fuel level reaches 1 1/2 inches below the top

of the neck.

Oil must be added to unit prior to ﬁrst use.

To avoid spillage, do not overﬁll fuel tank as gasoline expands.

ATTACHING THE SPRAY GUN (SEE FIG 4 & 5)

• Screw the spray wand and the trigger handle together until

they are secure.

• Insert the inlet coupler of the spray hose into the threaded

ﬁtting on the high pressure spray gun and thread the black nut

on by turning clockwise until it is hand tight.

• Turn on water.

• Purge the system’s pump of air by releasing the safety and

squeezing the trigger of the spray gun.

CONNECT GARDEN HOSE TO PRESSURE WASHER

(SEE FIG 6)

• Run water through the hose for 30-60 seconds to ush any

debris from the hose.

• Inspect inlet screen and remove any debris.

• Connect hose to water inlet and tighten by hand. There must

be a minimum of 10’ of unrestricted hose between pressure

washer and faucet or shut off valve.

Do not run pump without connecting to the water supply and

turning water on or damage to the pressure washer could result.

Failure to follow these instructions will void product warranty.

CONNECT HIGH PRESSURE HOSE TO PUMP (SEE FIG 7)

• Attach end of high pressure hose to the high pressure outlet

on pump.

• Follow the same procedure with opposite end to attach high

pressure hose to spray wand.

• Pull back on the quick connect collar to insert a spray tip

(nozzle) in the quick connect tting.

• Once the nozzle is inserted press and hold it while you release

the collar. Releasing the collar should lock the tip in place.

An unlocked tip may cause injury or damage

• Verify that the tip is locked by tugging on the tip before

attempting to spray.

• Check oil level and add oil to the proper level if low.

• Check fuel level and add fuel if needed.

• Check connections of handle and all hoses to make sure they

are secure.

• Check all hoses for kinks and damage.

• Check ow of water supply and make sure it is adequate.

Do not run pressure washer with a damaged hose. Do not run

pressure washer without ﬁrst connecting and turning on water

supply or damage to the pressure washer could result. Failure to

STARTING PRESSURE WASHER (SEE FIG 8 & 9)

• Place pressure washer on a level surface.

• Turn on water.

• Purge the system’s pump of air by releasing the safety and

squeezing the trigger of the spray gun.

• Attach wand/lance to spray gun.

• Turn fuel valve to the ON position.

• Slide the choke lever to the “Choke” position.

• Turn the engine OFF/ON switch to the “ON” position.

• Pull the recoil handle (starter cord) slowly until resistance is

felt, then pull rapidly.

• Let engine run for several seconds and then gradually slide the

choke lever to the RUN position as the engine warms up until

the choke is fully slid to the RUN position.

than you can let go which could result in injury.

• Always relieve pressure from spray gun before pulling starter

cord, including every failed attempt to start engine.

• To avoid recoil, pull starter cord slowly until resistance is felt,

then pull rapidly.

STOPPING PRESSURE WASHER

• Turn the on/stop switch to the OFF position.

• Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position.

• Turn off water and squeeze the trigger handle to release water

pressure.

USING THE SPRAY GUN (SEE FIG 10 & 11)

• Flip the lock tab behind the trigger up or down until it clicks

to apply or remove the safety. Pull back on the trigger to begin

operating pressure washer.

• To stop water ow, release trigger.

CAUTION

USING AND SELECTING SPRAY TIPS

(SEE FIG 12 & 13)

• To connect or disconnect spray tip, pull back on the quick

connect collar. Insert or remove spray tip then release collar.

• When spray tip is connected, pull on the spray tip to make

sure it is secured.

• For gentle cleaning and rinsing use the 40º spray tip. This

option is for cleaning cars, motorcycles, boats, RV’s outdoor

furniture, lawn equipment, and grills.

• For general cleaning use the 25º spray tip. This option is for

cleaning house siding, decks, garage ﬂoors, brick patios, and

cement walkways.

• For stripping use the 15º spray tip. This option is for removing

paint, rust, mildew, marine growth off boats, or grease stains.

• For blasting, spot cleaning or hard to reach areas use the 0º

spray tip. This option can be used for reaching second story

surfaces, or for the removal of paint, rust, oil stains, tar, gum,

and other stubborn substances. Use extreme caution when

using this nozzle.

• For applying pressure washer safe detergent, use the black

soap nozzle. Connect the siphon tube with strainer to the brass

barb located on the high pressure hose connection. Submerge

the strainer end of the siphon tube in the solution that is to be

applied.

• Check ow of water supply and make sure it is adequate.

RINSING WITH THE PRESSURE WASHER

• Select and install appropriate spray tip as described earlier in

this manual.

• Test a small area rst to avoid surface damage.

• Rinse from top to bottom using long, overlapping strokes.

MOVING THE PRESSURE WASHER (SEE FIG 14)

• Turn the pressure washer off.

• Tilt unit towards you until it is balanced on its wheels.

• Roll machine to desired location.

OPERATION

MAINTENANCE

Regular maintenance will extend the life of this pressure washer

and improve its performance. The warranty does not cover

items that result from operator negligence, misuse, or abuse.

Before inspecting or servicing this machine, make sure the

engine is off and no parts are moving. Disconnect the spark

plug wire and move it away from the spark plug. Never repair high pressure hose or use unit if hose is damaged.

If hose is damaged replace with identical Power Plus part.

WARNING

PRE-OPERATION CHECK LIST

Before starting the engine, perform the following pre-

operationsteps:

• Check the level of the engine oil and the fuel tank level

• Make sure the air lter is clean.

• Remove any debris that has collected on the pressure washer.

• Check water inlet screen for damage. Clean inlet screen if it

is clogged.

• Check high pressure hose for damage.

• Briey run garden hose to ush out any debris.

• Inspect the work area for hazards.

REMOVE DEBRIS

• Clean any debris that has collected around or behind the

mufﬂer, cleaning system, and controls.

• Use a damp cloth to wipe exterior surfaces. If dirt is caked on,

use a soft bristle brush.

CHECKING DETERGENT SIPHONING TUBE

•

Check the detergent siphoning tube for clogs, leaks, or tears.

• Make sure the tube ts tightly to the pump tting.

• Replace siphoning tubes if damaged.

HIGH PRESSURE HOSE

• Inspect hose for cuts, bulges, or leaks which can develop from

kinking or wear. If damage is found, immediately replace hose.

• Inspect couplings for damage. Immediately replace hose if

damage is found.

SPRAY GUN

• Make sure the spray gun is connected securely.

• Inspect the spray gun safety and make sure the spray gun

trigger springs back upon release.

NOZZLE

If a pulsing sensation is felt while squeezing the trigger, the nozzle

may be dirty or clogged and should be cleaned immediately.

• To clean the nozzle, shut off the engine and turn off the water.

• Remove the nozzle from the spray wand making sure that the

nozzle is pointing away from you and in a safe direction.

• Use a small paper clip to dislodge any foreign materials which

are clogging or restricting the spray tip.

• Flush debris out of the nozzle by back ushing with a garden

hose for 30-60 seconds.

• Reconnect the nozzle to the spray wand.

• Turn the water supply back on and start engine

CHECKING SPARK PLUG

• Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.

• Before removing the spark plug, clean the area around its

base to prevent debris from entering the engine.

• Clean carbon deposits off the electrode with a wire brush.

• Check the electrode gap and slowly adjust to .762 mm if

necessary.

• Reinstall spark plug and tighten to Torque 22.0 – 26.9 Nm

(16-20 ft-lb).

• Reconnect spark plug wire.

• If spark plug is worn replace only with specied Power Plus

replacement part. Spark plug should be replaced annually.

POST-OPERATION CHECKLIST

Follow the following procedure after each use:

• Shut off engine and turn off water supply. Release water

pressure by pointing spray gun in a safe direction and squeezing

the trigger.

• Disconnect high pressure hose, spray gun, and nozzle. Drain

water from items and use a rag to wipe down the outside of the

hose and spray gun.

• Empty the water from the pump by pulling the recoil starter 6

times.

• Store unit in a clean and dry area.

CHANGING ENGINE OIL

Engine oil will drain better if the engine is still warm, but not hot.

• Shut off engine.

• Clean the area around the oil ll cap / dipstick to keep out

debris then remove oil ﬁll cap / dipstick.

• Place an oil pan on the ground to catch oil. Remove oil plug

then tilt pressure washer back and to the side to empty out the

oil from the crankcase.

• Once oil is completely drained, return the pressure washer to

a level position and reﬁll with new oil as instructed earlier in this

manual under Adding / Checking Oil.

Water pressure produced by this unit can cut through skin

and tissue leading to serious injury and possible amputation.

• Never attempt to repair high pressure hose, always replace.

• Never attempt to repair leaks with sealant, always replace

Oring or seal.

WARNING

REPAIRING LEAKING CONNECTIONS

•

Purchase O-Ring / Maintenance kit through the nearest authorized

service center and follow instructions provided with kit.

Storage cover could be ﬂammable. Let engine cool before

covering pressure washer.

AIR FILTER

A dirty air ﬁlter will reduce the life span of the engine, make

starting the engine difﬁcult, and reduce the unit’s performance.

• To clean, remove the air lter cover.

• Carefully pull the air lter out by lifting up along the edges.

• Remove dirt from lter by tapping on it or having it blown out.

• Reinstall air lter so that it seals and replace air lter cover.

STORING PRESSURE WASHER

If storing pressure washer for 30 days or more follow the below

procedures:

• Add fuel stabilizer to gasoline to keep gasoline from going

staleand to prevent gum deposits from forming on the carburetor.

Run engine for a couple of minutes to circulate the fuel stabilizer.

• Add PumpSaver to protect pump from freezing or damage

caused by mineral deposits.

• Empty uid from all hoses, detergent bucket, and the pump.

• Disconnect the spark plug wire and clean the spark plug.

Leave spark plug wire disconnected.

• Clean the air lter.

• Cover unit with a suitable protective cover to keep unit dry.

• Store unit in a frost-free area.

Esta hidrolavadora trabaja a 3000 PSI con un caudal de 10,6

litros por minuto. Este sistema de alta calidad para el hogar

y el uso comercial posee un motor LCT MAXXtm 208cc,

neumáticos rellenos de espuma anti-ponchadura, una manguera

de alta presión de 25’ y 5 boquillas de rápida conexión.

• Esta hidrolavadora está diseñada para remover la suciedad

y el moho de las paredes de la casa, decks, pisos de

estacionamiento, patios de ladrillo y veredas de concreto.

• Esta unidad también puede ser utilizada para limpiar

automóviles, motocicletas, botes, muebles de exterior,

equipamiento de jardín y parrillas.

móviles. Se recomienda usar calzado antiderrapante. Sujete el

cabello largo. Suba las mangas largas arriba del codo.

9. USE LENTES DE PROTECCIÓN (PROTECCIÓN PARA LA

CABEZA). Use siempre lentes de protección. Los anteojos

de uso diario sólo tienen lentes resistentes al impacto. NO

son lentes de protección. También, use careta o mascarilla si

la operación de corte es polvosa, y use tapones en los oídos

durante periodos largos de operación.

10. CONECTE EQUIPO DE EXTRACCIÓN DE POLVO. Si los

aparatos cuentan con conexión para accesorios de extracción

y recolección de polvo, asegúrese de que sean conectados y

usados adecuadamente.

11. NO MALTRATE EL CABLE. No use el cable para desconectar

la máquina durante la operación. Nunca jale el cable para

desconectar del contacto. Mantenga el cable alejado del calor,

aceite o bordes ﬁlosos.

12. ASEGURE LA PIEZA DE TRABAJO. Use prensas para

sostener la pieza de trabajo cuando sea posible. Es más

seguro que usar las manos y libera ambas manos para operar

la máquina.

• Mantenga el motor libre de pasto, hojas o grasa dado que son

inﬂamables.

• Antes de agregar o drenar el combustible, la unidad debería

estar apagada durante por lo menos 2 minutos para enfriarse,

antes de quitar la tapa del combustible. Si la unidad ha estado

en funcionamiento la tapa del combustible se encuentra bajo

presión, quítela lentamente.

ENSAMBLAJE DE LAS RUEDAS (VER FIGURA 1)

• Partes necesarias - 2 ruedas, 2 clavetas de eje y 2 horquillas.

• Quite las horquillas de las clavetas de eje de la rueda

• Deslice la claveta del eje de la rueda a través del agujero

ubicado en el centro de la rueda.

• Levante o incline la hidrolavadora para poder deslizar la claveta

en el eje de la rueda dentro del agujero de montaje de la rueda

al costado del marco.

• Asegure el ensamblaje de la rueda e insertando la horquilla a

través del agujero en el extremo del eje de la rueda y presionando

hasta que quede asegurado en el lugar.

• Repita el proceso al otro lado de la hidrolavadora para instalar

la 2ª rueda.

AGREGAR/VERIFICAR ACEITE DEL MOTOR (VER FIGURA 2)

• Coloque la hidrolavadora sobre una supercie nivelada.

• Quite una o ambas varillas del cárter para asegurarse de no

llenar excesivamente el motor.

• Agregue cuidadosamente entre 450 y 500 ml (15-17oz) de

aceite de motor de 4 tiempos (SAE10W - 30) para vaciar el

reservorio hasta que el aceite alcance el borde exterior del

agujero de llenado de aceite (agujero de medidor del Carter).

• Asegúrese de reemplazar ambas varillas medidores antes de

intentar encender el motor.

• Para vericar el aceite, coloque la hidrolavadora sobre una

superﬁcie nivelada, limpie con un paño la varilla medidora y

luego reinserte la varilla sin enroscarla.

CARGA DE COMBUSTIBLE (VER FIGURA 3)

• Coloque la hidrolavadora sobre una supercie nivelada y limpia

en un área que esté bien ventilada.

• Quite la tapa de combustible.

• Inserte un embudo en el tanque de combustible y

cuidadosamente vierta gasolina en el tanque hasta que el nivel

de combustible alcance 4 cm por debajo del tope del cuello.

Para evitar derrames, no llene en exceso el tanque de

combustible dado que la gasolina se expande.

COLOCACIÓN DE LA PISTOLA ATOMIZADORA (VER

FIGURAS 4 y 5)

• Atornille la vara atomizadora y la manija de gatillo juntos hasta

que estén seguros.

• Inserte el conector de entrada de la manguera del atomizador

en el encastre roscado en la pistola atomizadora de alta presión

y enrosque la tuerca negra girando en el sentido de las agujas

del reloj hasta que esté sujeto con la fuerza de sus manos.

HIDROLAVADORA (VER FIGURA 6)

• Haga correr agua a través de la manguera durante 30 a 60

segundos para enjuagar cualquier partícula de la manguera.

• Inspeccione el ltro de entrada y remueva cualquier partícula.

mano. Debe haber un mínimo de 25 cm de manguera sin

• Una el extremo de la manguera de alta presión a la salida de

alta presión en la bomba.

• Siga el mismo procedimiento con el extremo opuesto; una la

manguera de alta presión a la vara atomizadora.

• Retraiga el anillo de conexión rápida para insertar una punta

atomizadora (boquilla) en el encastre de conexión rápida.

• Una vez que la boquilla esté insertada presione y sostenga

al tiempo que libera el anillo. La liberación del anillo debería

asegurar la punta en su lugar.

Una punta sin asegurar puede causar lesiones o daños

• Verique que la punta esté asegurada jalando de la punta

antes de intentar atomizar.

• Lea y comprenda este manual en su totalidad antes de operar

la hidrolavadora.

• Verique el nivel de aceite y agregue aceite para que llegue a

nivel apropiado si estuviera bajo.

• Verique el nivel de combustible y agregue combustible si

fuera necesario

• Verique las conexiones de la manija y de todas las mangueras

para asegurarse de que están seguras.

• Verique todas las mangueras por arrugas y daños.

•

Verique el ujo de agua y asegúrese de que sea el adecuado.

No utilice en interiores o en espacios reducidos que impidan la

disipación del peligroso monóxido de carbono.

• El monóxido de carbono es un gas venenoso y sin olor que

puede causar desmayos, malestar, convulsiones o la muerte.

• Impida que las emanaciones de esta unidad ingresen a

espacios cerrados a través de ventanas, puertas, ventilaciones

u otras aberturas.

• Cuando trabaje en áreas donde los vapores puedan ser

inhalados, utilice una máscara respiradora de acuerdo a sus

instrucciones.

DETENCIÓN DE LA HIDROLAVADORA

• Coloque el interruptor del motor OFF/ON en la posición

“OFF”

• Coloque la válvula de combustible en la posición OFF

• Apague el agua y apriete gatillo para liberar la presión de agua.

UTILIZACIÓN DE LA PISTOLA ATOMIZADORA (VER

FIGURAS 10 y 11)

• Mueva la pestaña detrás del gatillo hacia arriba o hacia abajo

hasta que haga un clic para aplicar o quitar el seguro. Apriete el

gatillo para comenzar a operar la hidrolavadora.

• Para detener el ujo de agua, libere el gatillo.

El cordón de encendido retrocede rápidamente llevando el

brazo hacia el motor más rápido de lo que usted puede soltarlo

pudiendo provocar lesiones.

• Alivie siempre la presión de la pistola atomizadora antes de

tirar del cordón de encendido, incluyendo luego de cada intento

fallido de encender el motor.

• Para evitar la inercia, tire del cordón de encendido lentamente

hasta que sienta una resistencia, luego tire rápidamente.

No utilice la hidrolavadora con la manguera dañada. No

enciende la hidrolavadora sin antes conectarla al suministro de

agua y abrir la camilla o podrá dañar la hidrolavadora. El no

cumplimiento de estas instrucciones hará caducar la garantía.

ENCENDIENDO LA HIDROLAVADORA (VER FIGURAS 8 y 9)

• Coloque a la hidrolavadora sobre una supercie nivelada.

• Abra la canilla del agua.

• Purgue la bomba del sistema de aire liberando el seguro y

apretando el gatillo de la pistola atomizadora.

• Una la vara/lanza a la pistola atomizadora.

• Coloque la válvula de combustible en la posición ON

• Deslice el indicador de obturación a la posición “Choke”

•

Coloque el interruptor del motor OFF/ON en la posición “ON”

• Para evitar la inercia, tire del cordón de encendido lentamente

hasta que sienta una resistencia, luego tire rápidamente.

• Permita que el motor funcione durante varios segundos y luego

gradualmente deslice el indicador de obturación a la posición

RUN al tiempo que el motor se calienta hasta que el obturador

haya llegado totalmente a la posición RUN.

UTILIZACIÓN Y SELECCIÓN DE PUNTAS ATOMIZADORAS

(VER FIGURAS 12 y 13)

Para conectar o desconectar una punta atomizadora, retire el

aro de conexión rápida. Inserte o quite una punta atomizadora

y luego libere el aro.

• Cuando la punta atomizadora esté conectada, jale de la punta

para vericar que esté asegurada.

• Para un lavado y enjuagado suave utilice la punta atomizadora

de 40°. Esta opción también puede ser utilizada para limpiar

automóviles, motocicletas, botes, muebles de exterior,

equipamiento de jardín y parrillas.

• Para lavados en general elija una punta de 25°. Esta opción

es la indicada para limpiar paredes de la casa, decks, pisos de

garaje, patios de ladrillo y aceras de cemento.

• Para remover utilice la punta atomizadora de 15°. Esta opción

es la indicada para remover pinturas, óxido, moho, crecimientos

orgánicos en los botes, o manchas de grasa.

• Para ráfagas intensas, limpieza de áreas puntuales o de difícil

acceso utilice la punta atomizadora de 0°. Esta opción puede

ser utilizada para alcanzar superﬁcies en pisos superiores o para

la remoción de pintura, óxido, manchas de aceite, brea, y otras

sustancias resistentes. Utilice precaución extrema cuando

emplee esta boquilla.

• Para aplicar detergente seguro para la hidrolavadora, utilice

la boquilla de jabón negra. Conecte el tubo sifón con ﬁltro a la

punta metálica ubicada en la conexión de la manguera de alta

presión. Sumerja el extremo con el ﬁltro del tubo sifón en la

solución que se va a aplicar.

ENJUAGANDO CON LA HIDROLAVADORA

Seleccione e instale la punta atomizadora apropiada tal como se

describe con anterioridad en este manual.

• Pruebe en un área pequeña al principio para evitar daños en

la superﬁcie.

• Enjuague desde arriba hacia abajo utilizando pinceladas largas

y superpuestas.

• Incline la unidad hacia usted hasta que esté balanceada sobre

sus ruedas.

• Haga rodar la máquina hasta la ubicación deseada.

OPERACIÓN

MANTENIMIENTO

Un mantenimiento regular extenderá la vida de esta hidrolavadora

y mejorará su funcionamiento. La garantía no cubre situaciones

que resultaran de la negligencia del operador, el mal uso o el

abuso del artefacto.

Antes de inspeccionar o prestarle servicio a esta máquina,

asegúrese de que el motor se encuentra apagado y de que

ninguna parte se esté moviendo. Desconecte el cable de la

bujía y aléjelo de la bujía.

LISTA DE VERIFICACIÓN PRE OPERACIÓN

Antes de encender el motor, realice los siguientes pasos de

pre-operación:

• Verique el nivel del aceite del motor y del tanque de

combustible

• Asegúrese de que el ltro de aire esté limpio.

• Quite cualquier partícula que se haya acumulado sobre la

hidrolavadora.

• Verique el ltro de ingreso de agua por si estuviera dañado.

Limpie el ﬁltro de ingreso si estuviera obstruido.

• Verique la manguera de alta presión por si estuviera dañada.

• Haga correr brevemente la manguera de jardín para enjuagar

cualquier resto de partículas.

• Inspeccione el área de trabajo por peligros posibles.

REMOCIÓN DE PARTÍCULAS

• Limpie cualquier partícula que se haya acumulado alrededor o

por detrás del silenciador, el sistema de limpieza y los controles.

• Utilice un trapo seco para limpiar las supercies exteriores.

Si la suciedad se ha endurecido, utilice un cepillo de cerdas

blandas.

LISTA DE VERIFICACIÓN POST-OPERACIÓN

Siga el siguiente procedimiento luego de cada uso:

• Apague el motor y corte el suministro de agua. Libere la

presión de agua apuntando la pistola atomizadora en una

dirección segura y apretando el gatillo.

• Desconecte la manguera de alta presión, pistola atomizadora

y boquilla. Drene el agua de los elementos y utilice un paño

para limpiar exteriormente la manguera y la pistola atomizadora.

• Vacíe el agua de la bomba jalando del cordón de encendido

6 veces.

• Almacene la unidad en un área limpia y seca.

CAMBIO DE ACEITE DEL MOTOR

El aceite del motor se drenará con más facilidad si el motor está

todavía tibio, pero no caliente.

• Apague el motor.

• Limpie el área alrededor de la tapa de llenado del aceite/varilla

medidora para evitar que ingresen partículas y luego abra la tapa

de llenado del aceite/varilla medidora.

• Coloque un colector de aceite sobre el piso para recoger el

aceite. Quite el tapón de aceite y luego incline la hidrolavadora

hacia atrás y a un costado para vaciar el aceite del carter.

• Una vez que la aceite esté completamente drenado, retorne

la hidrolavadora a una posición nivelada y rellénela con nuevo

aceite tal como se indica con anterioridad en este manual bajo

el título agregar/veriﬁcar aceite.

PELIGRO

VERIFICACIÓN DEL TUBO SIFÓN DE DETERGENTE

• Verique que el tubo sifón de detergente no esté obstruido,

desgarrado o perforado.

• Asegúrese de que el tubo encaje ajustadamente en el encastre

de la bomba.

• Reemplace los tubos sifones si estuvieran dañados

Nunca repare una manguera de alta presión o utilice la unidad

si la manguera estuviera dañada. Si la manguera está dañada

reemplácela con una parte idéntica Power Plus.

MANGUERA DE ALTA PRESIÓN

• Inspeccione la manguera para vericar que no haya cortes,

bultos, o pérdidas que puedan desarrollarse a partir de arrugas

o el desgaste. Si encuentra daños, reemplace inmediatamente

la manguera.

• Inspeccione los encastres para vericar que no haya daños.

Reemplace inmediatamente si la manguera estuviera dañada.

PISTOLA ATOMIZADORA

• Asegúrese de que la pistola atomizadora esté conectada de

manera segura.

• Inspeccione la seguridad de la pistola atomizadora y asegúrese

de que el gatillo retorne luego de ser liberado.

BOQUILLAS

Si siente una sensación punzante cuando aprieta el gatillo, la

boquilla puede estar sucia u obstruida y deberá ser limpiada

inmediatamente.

• Para limpiar la boquilla, apague el motor y cierre el agua.

• Quite la boquilla de la vara atomizadora asegurándose de que

la boquilla apunte en una dirección lejos de la suya que sea

asegura.

• Utilice un ganchillo de papel para desobstruir cualquier

material foráneo que esté obstruyendo o restringiendo la punta

atomizadora.

• Enjuague las partículas de la boquilla introduciendo agua por

detrás con la manguera de jardín durante 30 a 60 segundos.

• Conecte nuevamente la boquilla a la vara atomizadora.

• Vuelva a abrir el suministro de agua y a encender el motor.

VERIFICACIÓN DE LA BUJÍA

• Desconecte el cable de la bujía de la bujía.

• Antes de remover la bujía, limpie el área alrededor de su base

para impedir que ingresen partículas al motor.

• Limpie depósitos de carbón que hubieran en el electrodo con

un cepillo de alambre.

• Verique el espacio del electrodo y ajústelo lentamente a

0,762 mm si fuera necesario.

• Reinstale la bujía y ajuste con una fuerza de torsión 22.0 - 26,9

Nm (16-20 ft-lb)

• Vuelva a conectar el cable de la bujía.

• Si la bujía está desgastada reemplace únicamente con

el repuesto especíﬁco Power Plus. La bujía debería ser

reemplazada anualmente.

La presión de agua producida por esta unidad puede cortar a

través de la piel y el tejido produciendo serias heridas y posibles

amputaciones.

• Nunca intente reparar una manguera de alta presión, siempre

reemplácela.

• Nunca intente reparar pérdidas con sellador, reemplace

siempre el anillo sellador o sello.

REPARACIÓN DE CONEXIONES CON PÉRDIDA

• Adquiera el paquete de mantenimiento/anillo sellador a través

del centro de servicios autorizado más cercano y siga las

instrucciones provistas con el paquete.

FILTRO DE AIRE

Un ltro de aire sucio reducirá la vida útil del motor, volviendo

difícil el encendido del motor y reduciendo la prestación de la

unidad.

• Para limpiar, quite el cobertor del ltro de aire.

• Jale cuidadosamente del ltro de aire levantándolo desde los

bordes

• Quite la suciedad del ltro golpeándolo o soplándolo.

• Reinstale el ltro de aire para que esté sellado y reemplace el

cobertor del ﬁltro de aire.

La cobertura del almacenado puede ser inﬂamable. Permita que

el motor se enfríe antes de cubrir la hidrolavadora.

GUARDADO DE LA HIDROLAVADORA

Si va a guardar la hidrolavadora durante 30 días o más siga las

siguientes instrucciones:

• Agregue estabilizador de combustible a la gasolina para

prevenir que se eche a perder y que se formen depósitos de

goma en el carburador. Haga funcionar el motor durante un par

de minutos para circular el estabilizador de combustible.

• Agregue protector de bombas para proteger a la bomba de

congelamientos o daños causados por depósitos minerales.

• Vacíe los uidos de todas las mangueras, contenedor de

detergente y la bomba.

• Desconecte el cable de la bujía limpie la bujía. Dejé el cable

de la bujía desconectado.

• Limpie el ltro de aire.

• Cubra la unidad con un protector adecuado para mantener a

la unidad seca.

• Almacene la unidad en un área que no se congele.
