General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this wireless keyboard and mouse
set (hereafter referred to as the “product”), and contains important
information on setup and handling.
Before using the product, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in
personal injury or damage to the product.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the product on to third parties.
Proper use
The product is exclusively designed as input devices for a computer. It is only
intended for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury
incurred through improper or incorrect use.

− This product can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the product in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
− Keep the product away from children. Small parts are
included. They may cause suffocation if swallowed or
inhaled.
− To avoid injury to the eyes, do not look directly into the LED
light source of the optical sensor. Do not look at the LED
light source using optical instruments.
− Turn the product off when on board of an aircraft, in
a hospital, in an operating theater or in the vicinity
of electronic medical equipment. The RF signals may
interfere with the functionality of sensitive devices.

− Keep the product at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from
pacemakers, as the RF signals could interfere with its

− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic

suffocate.

− Store batteries in places that are out of reach of children

− Dispose of any discharged batteries immediately
according to locally applicable regulations.
− Immediately consult a physician if a child or animal has
swallowed a battery.

Improper handling of batteries may increase the risk of leaking
or explosion.
− Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose batteries
to excessive heat (e.g. direct sunlight) and do not throw
them into fire.
− Replace the batteries only with batteries of the same type.
− Make sure that the batteries are inserted the right way
around by checking if the polarity (+ and -) is correct.

− Always use high-quality batteries (e.g. Activ Energy). Poor
quality batteries could leak and cause damage.
− Before inserting the batteries, ensure that the contacts
in the battery compartments and on the batteries
themselves are clean and intact. Clean these if necessary.
− Remove the batteries from the product when they
are dead. Likewise, remove the batteries if you do not
intend to use the product for a prolonged period of time.
Otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage.
− Remove the batteries before disposing of the product.
− Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
− Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are
not to be mixed.
− The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
− If the batteries leak, do not remove battery fluid with
your bare hands. Do not allow battery fluid to come
into contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes. Use
normal household washing gloves. If, however, your
skin has come into contact with battery fluid, wash the
corresponding area of your skin immediately and consult
a physician if necessary.
− Wipe the leaked battery fluid up with a damp cloth. You
can wash the cloth and reuse it or dispose of it with your
household waste.

− Stop using the product if its plastic parts exhibit cracks or
breaks or become deformed.
− Always place the product on a stable and level surface. It
can be damaged if dropped.

water and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as
vases or drinks, on or next to the product.
− Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified
professional perform repairs.
Checking the product and scope of delivery
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage
the product.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the product or individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the product. Contact the manufacturer via the toll -free
telephone number indicated on the warranty card.
Installing the product
Installing or replacing batteries
• The keyboard is powered by one AAA battery.
• The mouse is powered by one AA battery.
Keyboard
1. Remove the battery compartment cover 6 on the underside of the
keyboard 1.
2. Insert the AAA battery 15 into the battery compartment. Make sure the
polarity (+/–) is correct.
For battery replacement, remove the old battery first.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
Operation

Mouse
1. Remove the battery compartment cover 13 on the underside of the
mouse 7.
2. Insert the AA battery 16 into the battery compartment. Make sure the
polarity (+/–) is correct.
For battery replacement, remove the old battery first.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
Installing the USB receiver
1. Remove the battery compartment cover 13 on the underside of the
mouse 7 and then remove the USB receiver 17 from the battery
compartment (see Fig. B).
2. Close the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the USB receiver into the USB port of your computer (see Fig. C).
Operation
• The product is a plug-and-play device and requires no driver
installation and setup.
• The maximum distance between the product and USB
receiver is around 33 ft (10 m).
• The product will automatically enter into sleep mode if it is
idle for about 10 minutes. Press any button to turn on the
product again.
Before using the product
1. Make sure the batteries 15 /16 are installed in the keyboard 1 and in
the mouse 7, respectively (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).
2. Make sure the USB receiver 17 is inserted into the USB port of your
computer (see chapter “Installing the USB receiver”).
Using the keyboard
− The keyboard 1 is ready to use once the AAA battery 15 is installed and
it is successfully connected to the USB receiver 17 .
− If necessary, fl ip down the support feet 5 to tilt up the keyboard.
− The number lock indicator 2 lights up when the number pad is enabled
for typing numbers.
− The caps lock indicator 3 lights up when the caps lock feature is enabled.
− The low battery indicator 4 lights up when the battery power level is low.
Replace the AAA battery (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).

− If you are not going to use the keyboard for a long period of time, remove
the AAA battery from the battery compartment. Store the battery in a cool,
dry place and keep it away from children.
Using the mouse
− Slide the on/off switch 12 on the underside of the mouse 7 to the
ON position to switch the mouse on.
The optical sensor 14 lights up when the mouse is switched on.
The mouse is ready to use once it is successfully connected to the USB
receiver 17 .
− To confi gure the mouse (including the left button 8, scroll wheel/middle
button 9 and right button 10 ), go to the mouse setting menu of your
computer’s operating system.
− Press the DPI button 11 to cycle through the mouse sensitivity settings
(800, 1,200 and 1,600 DPI). The higher you set the DPI of the mouse, the
faster your cursor will move.
− If the mouse fails to respond, the battery power level may be low. Replace
the AA battery (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).
− If you are not going to use the mouse for a long period of time, slide the
on/off switch to the OFF position to switch it off.
Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix yourself. To
do so, follow the instructions in the following table. If it is still not possible
to resolve the problem, contact customer service. Do not repair the product
yourself.

− Make sure you are not using the mouse on a glass or
refl ective surface. Use a mousepad if necessary.
− Make sure the keyboard/mouse and the USB receiver are
within the transmission distance (max. 33 ft/10 m).

Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
− If you are not going to use the product for a long period of time, remove
the batteries from the keyboard 1 and mouse 7, and remove the
USB receiver 17 from your computer and store it inside the battery
compartment of the mouse.
− Always store the product in a dry area.
− Protect the product from direct sunlight.
− Store the product so that it is not accessible to children.

• El teclado funciona con una pila AAA.

Teclado
1. Retire la tapa del compartimento de la pila 6 en la parte inferior del
teclado 1.
2. Inserte la pila AAA 15 en el compartimento de la pila. Asegúrese de que la
polaridad (+/–) sea la correcta.
Para sustituir la pila, retire primero la antigua.
3. Cierre la tapa del compartimento de la pila.
Ratón (mouse)
1. Retire la tapa del compartimento de la pila 13 en la parte inferior del
ratón 7.
2. Inserte la pila AA 16 en el compartimento de la pila. Asegúrese de que la
polaridad (+/–) sea la correcta.

Funcionamiento
• El producto es un dispositivo tipo “plug-and-play” y no

Antes de usar el producto
1. Asegúrese de que las pilas 15 /16 estén insertadas en el teclado 1 y
en el ratón 7 respectivamente (véase el capítulo “Insertar o sustituir las
pilas”).
2. Asegúrese de que el receptor USB 17 está insertado en el puerto USB de su
computadora (véase el capítulo “Instalar el receptor USB”).
Uso del teclado
− El teclado 1 estará listo para el uso una vez se haya insertado la pila
AAA 15 y esté conectado correctamente con el receptor USB 17 .
− Si fuera necesario, despliegue las patas de soporte 5 para inclinar el
teclado.
− El indicador de bloqueo numérico 2 se enciente cuando el teclado
numérico está habilitado para escribir números.
− El indicador de bloqueo de mayúsculas 3 se enciente cuando la función
de mayúsculas está habilitada.
− El indicador de pilas gastadas 4 se enciende cuando el nivel de carga de
la pila es bajo. Sustituya la pila AAA (véase el capítulo “Insertar o sustituir las
pilas”).
− Si no va a utilizar el teclado por un periodo prolongado, retire la pila AAA del
compartimento de la pila. Almacene la pila en un lugar fresco, seco y fuera
del alcance de los niños.
Uso del ratón
− Deslice el interruptor de encendido/apagado 12 en la parte inferior del
ratón 7 hasta la posición de ON para encender el ratón.
El sensor óptico 14 se iluminará cuando el ratón esté encendido.
El ratón estará listo para el uso una vez que esté conectado correctamente al
receptor USB 17 .
− Para confi gurar el ratón (incluyendo el botón izquierdo 8, la rueda de
desplazamiento/botón central 9 y el botón derecho 10 ), acceda al menú
de confi guración del ratón en el sistema operativo de su computadora.

− Presione el botón DPI 11 para desplazarse por los ajustes de sensibilidad
del ratón (800, 1,200 y 1,600 DPI). Cuanto más alto sea el ajuste DPI del ratón,
más rápido se moverá el cursor.
− Si el ratón no responde, el nivel de carga de la pila podría ser bajo. Sustituya
la pila AA (véase el capítulo “Insertar o sustituir las pilas”).
− Si no va a utilizar el ratón por un periodo prolongado, deslice el interruptor
de encendido/apagado hasta la posición OFF para apagarlo.
Resolución de problemas
Algunos problemas están causados posiblemente por incidencias menores que
puede solucionar por sí mismo. Para ello, siga las instrucciones de la siguiente
tabla. Si el problema no se soluciona, diríjase al servicio al cliente. No repare el
producto usted mismo.

en su computadora.
− Asegúrese de que las pilas insertadas no estén
descargadas. Sustitúyalas si fuera necesario.
− Asegúrese de no estar usando el ratón sobre una
superfi cie de vidrio o refl ectante. Utilice una alfombrilla
para ratón si fuera necesario.
− Asegúrese de que el teclado/ratón y el receptor USB se
encuentren dentro del rango de transmisión
(máx. 33 ft/10 m).
