PEX Crimp Ring Removal Tool

This tool will remove copper crimp rings and allow reuse of the tting. It is effective on brass and plastic ttings.

3. Close tool to cut ring. A gap is designed into the tool to

prevent damage to the barbs of the tting.

4. Open tool and position it in an area directly opposite of

the initial cut.

5. Close tool to impact copper ring causing it to buttery.

Remove the copper ring from the PEX tubing.

6. If unable to remove tting from PEX tubing, insert the anvil

into the tting and score the tubing in six equal locations

along the outside of the PEX tubing. This will cause the

PEX tubing to expand and allow removal of the tting.

Crimp Ring Removal Tool is warranted against materials and

manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from date of

purchase. This Warranty does not cover defects or damage

arising from improper installation, lack of or improper

maintenance, improper storage or handling, ordinary wear

and tear, misuse, abuse of accident of use with unauthorized

1. Corte el tubo cerca del extremo del accesorio con un cortador de

tuberías PEX u otro método, con cuidado de no dañar el accesorio.

2. Inserte el yunque de la herramienta para desmontaje de anillos

5. Cierre la herramienta para que impacte sobre el anillo de cobre y se

corte en forma de mariposa. Retire el anillo de cobre del tubo de PEX.

6. Si no puede retirar el accesorio del tubo de PEX, inserte el yunque

dentro del accesorio y marque el tubo con una cuchilla en seis

ubicaciones iguales a lo largo de la parte externa del tubo de PEX.

Esto hará que el tubo de PEX se expanda y permitirá que se retire

el accesorio.

7. Inspeccione el accesorio para comprobar si se marcaron las estrías o

si se produjo alguna deformación en el diámetro interior del accesorio.

De observarse marcas o deformaciones, deseche el accesorio.
