■ This device is an information technology device

and is intended exclusively for charging mobile

devices that are charged via a USB port as

standard.

■ The device is not intended for any other purpose,

nor for use beyond the scope described.

■ The device is not intended for use in commercial

or industrial environments.

■ The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for

damage caused by failure to observe these in-

structions, improper use or repairs, unauthorized

modiﬁcations, or the use of unapproved replace-

ment parts. The risk is borne solely by the user.

Safety

This section contains important safety instructions

for hand ling the device. This device complies with

statutory safety regulations. Improper use may result

in personal injury and property damage.

Basic safety instructions

■ Never open the device

housing. None of the components in the device

can be serviced or replaced by the user.

■ Risk of suﬀocation!

Do not allow children to play with the packaging

material! Keep all packaging materials away from

children.

■ All repairs must be carried

out by authorized service centers or by the

customer service department. Improper repairs

may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any

warranty claims.

■ Improper use of the batteries

can cause ﬁres, explosions, leakages or other

hazards! Do not throw the device into a ﬁre as

the integrated battery could explode.

■ Risk of ﬁre and burns.

Do not open, crush, heat above 104 °F (35 °C) or

incinerate. Follow manufacture's instructions.

■ Always place the device on

a stable and level surface. It can be damaged if

dropped.

■ Do not operate the device

close to open ﬂames (e.g. candles).

■ Do not expose the device to di-

rect sunlight or high temperatures and do not cover

it during charging. Otherwise, it may overheat and

be irreparably damaged. This particularly applies

to storage in a car. Extreme temperatures can occur

in car interiors and glove compartments during long

periods of immobilization. Remove electrical and

electronic devices from the vehicle.

■ Check the device for visible external damage be-

fore use. Do not operate a device that has been

damaged or dropped.

■ This device may only be used by children aged

8 years and above and by persons with limited

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge, if it is provided that

they are being supervised or have been instructed

on how to use the device safely and are aware of

the potential risks.

■ Children must not play with the device.

■ Cleaning and maintenance shall not be carried

out by children unless they are supervised.

■ Do not place the product near heat sources such

as radiators or other heat-generating devices.

■ The device is not designed for use in rooms with

high temperatures or humidity (e.g. bathrooms) or

where there is excessive dust.

■ Do not use the device immediately after moving it

from a cold room to a warm room. Always allow

the device to acclimate before turning it on.

■ Do not make any unauthorized modiﬁcations or

alterations to the device.

■ Do not expose the device to water spray or drip-

ping water, and do not place liquid-ﬁlled objects

such as vases or open drink containers on or near

the device.

■ Turn the device oﬀ immediately and disconnect

any connected charging cables from the device

if you smell fumes or notice any smoke. Have the

device checked by a qualiﬁed specialist before

using it again.

■ If you are using a USB power supply, the socket

you use must always be easily accessible so that

the USB power supply can be quickly disconnect-

ed from the socket in a hazardous situation. You

should also observe the operating instructions for

the USB power supply.

■ Note any restrictions or prohibitions on use for

battery-powered appliances in locations with

speciﬁc hazard risks, such as gas stations,

airplanes, hospitals, etc.

The scope of delivery includes the following

components:

♦ Remove all parts of the device from the packaging

and remove all packaging materials.

Check the package for completeness and for signs

of visible damage. If the delivery is incomplete

or damage has occurred as a result of defective

packaging or during transport, contact the customer

service hotline.

Disposal of packaging materials

The packaging protects the device from damage

during transport. The packaging materials have been

selected for their environmental friendliness and ease

of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging into the material cycle con-

serves raw materials and reduces the amount of

waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials

that are no longer needed in accordance with

applicable local regulations.

Charging the Power Bank

Before using the power bank, the integrated battery

must be fully charged.

► The power bank must never be charged and used

for charging an external device at the same time.

► Only use USB power adapter with an output

voltage of 5V and an output current of at least

1A or a USB 3.0 port on your computer to

charge the Power Bank. You can recognise the

USB 3.0 port due to the blue marking.

► When charging via a USB port, ensure that at

least one further USB port remains free. This also

applies when using USB 3.0 ports.

► Use only the supplied charging cable to

charge/discharge the power bank.

► Always disconnect the charging cable after

charging/discharging!

♦ Connect the USB plug of the charging cable

to a switched-on PC or a USB power adapter

(not supplied).

♦ Connect the Micro-USB plug of the charging ca-

ble to the Micro-USB charging port on the

power bank. An estimate of the charge level is

shown by means of the charge level LEDs .

Checking the charge level

You can also check the charge level of the power

bank when it is not charged or being used for

charging.

♦ Press the ON/OFF button brieﬂy. The LEDs

show the current charge level of the power bank

for about 30 seconds.

Handling and operation

Charging mobile devices with the

Power Bank

♦ Insert the Micro-USB plug of the charging cable

into the Micro-USB charging port of the mobile

device, and insert the USB plug into the USB port

on the power bank. The charging process starts

automatically.

♦ If charging does not start automatically, press the

ON/OFF button brieﬂy to start the charging

process.

Alternatively, you can also use the original charging

cable (USB cable) provided by the respective device

manufacturer.

♦ During the charging process, the current charge

level of the power bank is shown via the charge

level LEDs (see table in section Charging the

Power Bank).

♦ To end the charging procedure, disconnect the

charging cable from the mobile device and

the power bank. The charging status LEDs turn

oﬀ after about 30 seconds.

Troubleshooting

The Power Bank does not charge

♦ Connection may be faulty. Check the connection.

A connected device will not charge

♦ The integrated battery is empty. Charge the battery.

♦ No connection to the device. Check the connection.

♦ Press the ON/OFF button to start the charging

process.

♦ The charging current of the connected device is

too low (< 80 mA) or too high (> 1 A).

♦ The internal overcurrent protection may have

been triggered. Disconnect the attached device

and connect the Micro-USB charging port

to a power source for a short while (see section

on Charging the Power Bank). Afterwards, the

power bank can be used again.

If you cannot solve the problem with the above-

mentioned solutions, please contact the customer

service hotline.

Cleaning

There are no serviceable parts

or parts requiring cleaning inside the power bank.

Moisture can cause damage to the appliance.

► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance,

ensure that no moisture can penetrate the device

during cleaning.

► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based

cleaning materials. These can damage the surface

of the device.

♦ Clean the housing of the device with a slightly

damp cloth and a mild detergent only.

Storage when not in use

♦ Store the device in a clean, dry, and dust-free

location and away from direct sunlight.

♦ For long-term storage, the integrated battery should

be fully charged to extend its operating life.

Disposal

Electronic devices may not be thrown

away as part of normal household trash.

If you can no longer use your electronic

device, dispose of it in accordance with

the legal provisions applicable in your state. This will

allow you to ensure that old electronic devices are

recycled and environmental pollution is kept to a

minimum.

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.

▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear

or failure to follow the safety and maintenance

instructions provided in the user manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including

fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);

▯ Improper use or transport;

▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, ﬁre,

water, etc.);

▯ Tampering with the product (such as removing

cover, unscrewing screws etc.)

Consequential and incidental damages are also not

covered under this warranty. However, some states

do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental

Eliminación de materiales de empaque

El empaque protege al dispositivo contra daños

durante el transporte. Los materiales de empaque han

sido seleccionados por su compatibilidad ambiental

y facilidad de eliminación y, por lo tanto, son re-

ciclables. La devolución del empaque al ciclo de

materiales conserva las materias primas y reduce la

Carga de la batería externa

Antes de usar la batería externa, la batería integrada

aproximadamente 30 segundos.

Manejo y operación

Carga de dispositivos móviles con la

batería externa

♦ Inserte el enchufe micro USB del cable de carga

dentro del puerto de carga micro USB del

dispositivo móvil, e inserte el enchufe USB dentro

del puerto USB en la batería externa. El pro-

ceso de carga comienza automáticamente.

♦ Si la carga no comienza automáticamente, pre-

sione el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado)

brevemente para iniciar el proceso de carga.

En forma alternativa, también puede usar el cable

de carga original (cable USB) del fabricante del

dispositivo correspondiente.

♦ Durante el proceso de carga, el nivel actual de

carga de la batería externa se muestra a través

de los LED de nivel de carga (vea la tabla en

la sección "Carga de la batería externa").

♦ Para terminar el procedimiento de carga, desco-

necte el cable de carga del dispositivo móvil

y de la batería externa. Los LED de estado de

carga se apagan después de alrededor de

30 segundos.

Solución de problemas

La batería externa no carga

♦ La conexión puede estar defectuosa. Revise la

conexión.

Un dispositivo conectado no carga

♦ La batería integrada está vacía. Cargue la batería.

♦ No hay conexión con el dispositivo. Revise la

conexión.

♦ Presione el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apaga-

do) para comenzar el proceso de carga.

♦ La corriente de carga del dispositivo conectado

es demasiado baja (< 80 mA) o demasiado alta

(> 1 A).

♦ Puede ser que se haya activado la protección

contra sobrecorriente interna. Desconecte el

dispositivo conectado y conecte el puerto de

carga micro USB a la fuente de alimentación

por un breve periodo (vea la sección en Carga

de la batería externa). La batería externa puede

usarse de nuevo posteriormente.

Limpieza

No hay partes que requieran servicio o

► Para evitar daño irreparable al dispositivo, asegú-

► No use materiales de limpieza cáusticos, abrasivos

♦ Limpie la carcasa del dispositivo solamente con

una tela ligeramente humedecida y con detergen-

Almacenamiento cuando no se

usa

♦ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar limpio, seco y

sin polvo, y lejos de la luz solar directa.

♦ Para almacenamiento a largo plazo, la batería

integrada debe estar completamente cargada

para extender su vida operativa.
