OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This micro crimping styler is intended for
household use. Use on Alternating Current
(60 hertz) only. This unit is designed to be
operated at 120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other.) As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE: Due to high heat temperatures,
this styler should not be used on hair
extensions.
For best results, use a light styling product
before blow-drying hair. Repeat process on
additional sections of hair until you achieve
the hairstyle you desire. It may be necessary
to repeat process on certain areas, depending
on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learn-
ing to use this crimper. After using it several
times, you will learn the ideal way to add
volume and style your hair.

The plates of your new styling crimper offer
the newest technology for better results. The
combination of ceramic and tourmaline evenly
distributes heat to protect hair from damaging
hot spots. When ceramic and tourmaline are
heated, they eliminate flyaways and frizzies
to leave hair silky smooth and shiny.
The Tourmaline Ceramic™ technology is a
pleasure to work with, making styling your
hair easier and letting you achieve salon
results at home.

HIGH HEAT TEMPERATURE SETTINGS &
UNIFORM HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM
This micro crimping styler features a ceramic
heater that maintains temperature during
use for precision styling. It heats up to the
temperature you’ve selected for your hair type.
This Instant Heat technology has 5 ultra-high
heat temperature settings. There is a
temperature range that’s gentle and safe for
every type of hair, from the finest to the
curliest and most resistant, and helps you
create the look you want. And that’s not all.
Conair’s professional salon standards of
engineering provide you with a uniform and
improved heat recovery system that
maintains the styler at constant temperatures.
There is a constant surge of power to ensure
that heat is continuously and quickly
delivered for optimal styling results, unlike
other units, which lose heat during use. This
provides consistent styling power so that
every strand of your hair is set with the same
level of heat and comes out the same way for
a perfect finish.

TO CREATE VOLUME
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the micro crimping styler. Plug
the styler into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit.
The Power setting will become illuminated.
To turn off, press On/Off button (light will go
off). Never leave your styler on and unat-
tended. However, should you fail to turn the
unit off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The iron’s tourmaline ceramic-
coated plates will get very hot within a
few seconds and should not be placed in
contact with the skin after the styler has
been turned on.
GETTING STARTED
The styler’s unique 5 ultra-high heat
temperature settings and Instant Heat
technology provide styling versatility for
all hair types. If you have fine hair, a low
temperature will provide the best results. If
you have thick or wavy hair, keep the heat
setting on high. You can vary the styler’s
temperature according to your particular
need!
For more hold and lift,
use hairspray at the
roots of each section before crimping.
For maximum body and volume,
start at the
nape of the neck.
Do not crimp too close to the top section so
crimp marks stay out of sight.

DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz).
Este aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar
con corriente de 120V AC.
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara
en la toma de corriente, inviértala. Si aún no
entrara completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
NOTA: debido a las altas temperaturas
que produce, este aparato no debe usarse
sobre extensiones de cabello.
Para conseguir resultados óptimos, aplique
una loción fijadora ligera sobre el cabello
antes de peinarlo. Repita el proceso con cada
sección de cabello, hasta conseguir el estilo
deseado. Según la textura del cabello, puede
que sea necesario repetir el proceso varias
veces en cada sección.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para dar volumen a su cabello fácil
y rápidamente.

Las placas de su nueva plancha son el
resultado de una tecnología de punta que

revestimiento de cerámica/turmalina asegura

5 AJUSTES DE TEMPERATURA
Y SISTEMA DE RECUPERACIÓN DEL CALOR
Este aparato está dotado de una potente
resistencia de cerámica que logra un
calentamiento muy rápido y mantiene la
temperatura constante durante el uso.
Esto permite que alcance la temperatura
seleccionada muy rápidamente.
Cuenta con 5 opciones de temperatura ultra-
altas, para permitirle escoger la temperatura
perfecta para su tipo de cabello, desde el
más fino hasta el más resistente, y siempre
obtener los resultados deseados, sin lastimar
el cabello. Y esto no es todo... Su aparato
también disfruta de los mismos estándares
de calidad e ingeniería que los aparatos
profesionales y cuenta con un sistema de
recuperación del calor. A diferencia de otras
herramientas cuya temperatura baja durante
el uso, este sistema mantiene la temperatura
constante, sin pérdida de calor. Cada sección
de cabello está peinada usando la misma
temperatura, lo que permite obtener
resultados uniformes y peinados perfectos.
PARA DAR VOLUMEN AL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y completamente
seco. Conecte el cable a una toma de
corriente. Encienda el aparato. El indicador
luminoso se encenderá.
Para apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de
apagado; el indicador luminoso se apagará.
Nunca descuide ni abandone el aparato
después de encenderlo. Para su seguridad,
el aparato se apagará automáticamente
después de 60 minutos.
ADVERTENCIA: las placas se volverán
extremadamente calientes en segundos;
evite el contacto con la piel después de
encender el aparato.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este aparato con calentamiento instantáneo
cuenta con 5 opciones de temperatura, para

su cabello es fino, le recomendamos que
utilice un nivel de temperatura bajo. Si
su cabello es espeso, grueso u ondulado,
le recomendamos que utilice un nivel de
temperatura alto. ¡Personalice la temperatura
según su tipo de cabello!
Para proporcionar fijación y dar más
volumen a la raíz,
rocíe spray para el cabello
sobre la raíz antes de rizar.
Para conseguir máximo cuerpo y volumen,
empiece en la nuca.
No rice la parte superior del cabello, para
evitar dejar marcas en el cabello.

Your micro crimping styler is virtually
maintenance free. No lubrication is needed.
Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt
and dust. If cleaning becomes necessary,
disconnect the unit from the power source,
allow to cool and wipe exterior with a cloth.
If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the
unit, allow it to cool, and return it for repair to
an Authorized Service Center only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never
wrap the cord tightly around the appliance.
Damage will occur at the high flex point of
entry into the appliance, causing it to rupture
and short circuit. Inspect the cord frequently
for damage. Stop use immediately if damage
is visible or if unit stops or operates
intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to
store. Allow appliance to cool, then simply
store out of reach of children in a safe, dry
location. Do not jerk or strain cord at plug
connections. Do not wrap the line cord
around the appliance. Allow the cord to hang
or lie loose and straight at the point of entry
into the appliance.
