CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same

or equivalent type.

6. Warning: Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, ﬁre, or the like.

WARNING: DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD. The remote control

supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery

is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep

new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close

securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might

have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical

attention.

Do not use this apparatus near water. For example, do not use near a bathtub, in a wet

basement, near a swimming pool, and the like. WARNING! Do not expose this product to

rain or moisture.

Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s

instructions.

apparatus (including ampliﬁers) that produce heat.

has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a

third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the

provided plug does not ﬁt into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the

obsolete outlet.

Congratulations on your purchase of a truly unique entertainment product. We believe the recharge-

able and weather resistant Portable Audio Laboratory (PAL BT) is one of the ﬁnest portable audio

products on the market. It is sure to enhance your radio listening experience at home or on the go.

With the addition of Bluetooth

wireless technology, you can stream your music wirelessly to the

PAL BT.

In order to take full advantage of what your new radio is capable of, please take a moment to read

this owner’s manual and the safety instructions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to

contact your dealer or Tivoli Audio directly.

Please save the carton and original packing should you ever need to ship your radio, as shipping

damage is not covered by the factory warranty.

Before You Begin

For your safety, the PAL BT is shipped from the factory with discharged batteries. However,

it is normal if the PAL BT plays straight out of the box. With the unit off, connect the power

supply to the PAL BT and plug it into a wall outlet to charge the batteries.

Like many rechargeable devices, there may be a delay before the LED starts to blink when

the PAL BT is brand new and ﬁrst plugged in, or when left unused for several weeks. This is

a feature of the Power Management System designed to protect the batteries from damage.

Bear in mind it may take up to 4 charge/discharge cycles before the batteries are operating

at full capacity when the PAL BT is new or has been unused for several weeks.

Leaving the PAL BT plugged in even when not in use ensures the batteries will be charged

when you need it. If the PAL BT is not plugged in, the batteries will gradually self-dis-

charge as a safety measure. There is also no harm in playing the PAL BT continuously

while plugged in.

 

Guide to Features (Rear)

1. FM ANTENNA: When listening to FM, adjust this telescoping antenna and position it for best

reception. In strong FM signal locations, reducing the antenna’s length may provide better

reception. When the unit is not in use or when listening to AM, keep the antenna retracted to

protect it. This antenna has no affect on AM reception. For AM, rotate the PAL BT itself to align

the internal antenna for improved reception.

2. PAIRING: When connecting a new device to the PAL BT, press and hold this button to enter

pairing mode.

3. AUXILIARY INPUT: To hear audio from another device (such as a portable CD or MP3 player)

through the PAL BT’s main speaker, connect the device’s audio output to this input and set the

source switch to AM. This jack accepts a 1/8" stereo male mini plug. Note that you may need

to adjust the volume level differently for an auxiliary device than the level normally used for radio

listening. Keep the rubber plug inserted when this input is not in use.

HEADPHONE OUTPUT: Connect a headset to this stereo output for private listening. The

headphone volume will be controlled by the PAL BT’s volume knob. Connecting a pair of

headphones will mute the PAL BT’s main speaker. This jack accepts a 1/8" stereo male mini

plug. You may also record from the PAL BT or use it as a high quality stereo tuner by using this

output. Keep the rubber plug inserted when this output is not in use.

BATTERY COMPARTMENT: Stores the Lithium-ion battery battery pack. Do not load any other

type of batteries in the compartment. See “Replacing the battery pack.”

6. DC INPUT: Use this input to operate the PAL BT using its included PAL BT Tivoli Audio 9V 2A

power supply. Use only the power supply provided with this product. Should the power

supply get damaged or misplaced, contact Tivoli Audio for a replacement. Keep the rubber

plug inserted when this input is not in use.

Note: We suggest keeping the rubber covers in place over the rear jacks to protect them when not in use.

Guide to Features (Front)

1. TUNING DIAL: Turn the analog dial to the right or to the left to change the FM and AM

frequency range. The 5:1 tuning gear ratio provides easy, accurate tuning.

2. POWER INDICATOR: Indicates when the unit is on as well as the charging mode and battery

status. See the section marked “About the battery pack”.

3. SOURCE KNOB: Turn the knob 1 click up to select the FM band or 2 clicks up to select the

AM band. To activate Bluetooth, switch to BT and follow the steps outlined in the “Bluetooth

Operation” section.

1. Turn the PAL BT to the “BT” position, then press the Pairing button. Turn the volume up about

¼ to start. Also turn up the volume on the source device (the device you are streaming from).

2. Turn on the Bluetooth wireless technology on your enabled device.

Select “Tivoli Bluetooth (Not Paired)” when it appears on your device’s screen to initiate search-

ing. Some devices may prompt you for a PIN. If so, enter “0000”. “Tivoli Bluetooth” will change

from “Not Paired” to “Connected”.

When your device conﬁrms pairing, you can begin playing your music ﬁles wirelessly. Adjust the

volume level on your device. You should not have to pair your device again.Depending on your

device, you may need to make multiple attempts at Pairing and/or Connecting to the PAL BT,

but please give your device adequate time to Pair or Connect before repeating the process.

About The Battery Pack







Low Battery

With the PAL BT turned On but not plugged in, as the batteries become discharged, the green power

indicator LED to blink with a short off/long on cycle, indicating the batteries are in need of being re-

charged. The remaining playback time from the moment the blinking begins until the PAL BT shuts off

is estimated between 20 minutes and several hours. It is difﬁcult to be more precise due to many fac-

tors including how long and how loud the radio is played, and the remaining charge left in the batter-

ies. For instance, the PAL BT will likely play longer off of the batteries at a low volume than at higher

volume levels. As you use your PAL BT, you will develop a better idea of how much playback time

you have before recharging is necessary. You may also notice reduced battery playback time with

PAL BT when using Bluetooth Wire¬less Technology. Using the Bluetooth wireless technology when

on battery-only power will reduce the average playback time experienced with just radio listening.

If the PAL BT is turned on to FM or AM and the power indicator is off, then the batteries require

recharging. However, it is normal for the radio to play for a brief period if turned on after the LED

has gone out.

If the PAL BT is to be used away from an AC or other power source for an extended period of time, it

is wise to “top-off” the charge before use, especially if the LED is blinking.

Leaving the PAL BT plugged in, even when not in use, ensures the batteries will be charged when

you need them. If the PAL BT is not plugged in, the batteries will self-discharge as a safety measure.

There is no harm in continuously operating the PAL BT with the power supply.

Note: It may take up to 4 charge/discharge cycles before the batteries are operating at full

capacity when new or left unused for several weeks.

 

为更好地保护产品，在暴雨天气或长时间不使用时，要拔掉电源。以防止闪电和电流浪涌的影

响。

装电器可能引起的有害干扰起到了有效的保护作用。本产品产生和利用电台频率能量，如果没

有按说明安装和使用，可能会产生有害干扰。但也不排除在特定的安装条件下可能产生干扰。

若本产品对收音机或电视机确实产生了有害干扰，可通过开关本产品来测试确定，用户可通过

以下一种或多种方法尝试纠正：

 调整接收天线的方向。

16. 只可使用后面板上标明的电源类型。若使用外接电源，当电源线丢失或损坏时，

开始操作之前

为安全起见，PAL BT出厂前电池没有充电。然而，当从包装中取出产品时，能马上播放是很正常

的。关闭本产品，接上电源线，并连接到入墙式插座，对电池进行充电。（参见“Fast Charge

Mode”快速充电模式）。和许多可充电产品一样，第一次对PAL BT充电时，或者数周时间不使用

时，LED指示灯可能会稍延迟一点时间才开始闪亮。这是Power Management System电源管理系

统设计的一个特点，以保护电池。

记住，使用新的PAL BT产品或长达数周不使用后，要通过4次充电/放电过程，电池才会达到最大容

量。在不使用时，也接上电源，以确保当你需要使用时本产品时电池已充好电。如果电源没有接上，

电池会逐渐自行放电，作为安全防护。一边充电，一边播放PALBT不会有害处。

 

开始

前面板

1. TUNING DIAL调谐盘：旋转旋钮可进行调谐FM或AM电台。

2. POWER INDICATOR电源指示灯：电源/充电状态指示灯。

SOURCE KNOB音源调档：选择关闭、FM或AM。要激活蓝牙功能，调到BT档，并按

照“BluetoothOperation”说明部分的步骤操作。

4. VOLUME音量旋钮：调整音量至所需水平。

后面板

FM ANTENNA天线：调整该天线，以达到最佳FM收音效果。对AM接收无影响。对于AM接收，

调整PALBT产品箱体的摆向，以配合内置天线，可达到最佳接收效果。

DC输入：使用这个端口以便使用PALBT内置的9V2A电源。仅可使用支持此模式的产品。若设

备的电源损坏请联系TivoliAudio更新。请注意不使用此功能时请用橡皮塞封住插孔。

3. HEADPHONE OUTPUT耳机输出：用于连接耳机（另购），带立体声3.5mm接头的耳机。

外接音源：如果想用其他音源设备（比如CD机或MP3）连接PALBT聆听音乐，请使用3.5mm

音源线分别连接PALBT的INPUT端口和音源设备的OUTPUT端口，并把开关音源切换键调整至

AM。请注意不使用此功能时请用橡皮塞封住插孔。

5. 电池槽：此处为PALBT内置锂电池存放处。请不要随意更换其他任何电池。

6. 配对：请点击并按住这个键开启配对模式，使新的音源设备与PALBT连接。

 

BLUETOOTH OPERATION 蓝牙操作

配对前，要确保你的设备支持蓝牙 协议，并且没有连接其它蓝牙产品。不同的设备配对不同。以下是通

用指南。

1. 将开关音源键旋钮调整至BT，这时按下配对按钮。将音量键调整至1/4并开始享受您的音乐。

2. 打开要配对的设备的蓝牙功能。

开启您的音源设备蓝牙模式并搜索直到屏幕出现“TivoliBluetooth(未配对)”，请勾选配对。

有的设备可能要求输入PIN码，请输入“0000”.“Tivoli Bluetooth”即可从“未配对”变

成“已连接。

你会听到PALBT发出一声铃响，确认已连接成功，可开始无线播放音乐。调整连接上的蓝牙设

备的音量大小。如果配对成功，下次使用不需要再进行配对。根据不同的音源设备，可能需要尝

试配对几次，不过在重复配对前，要预留足够时间给机器配对。

关于电池组件

PAL BT使用密封包装的锂电池。前面板的绿色LED灯可显示电源开关，电池供电和充电状态指示。

充满电的电池可使用约12小时。

快速充电模式

关闭PAL BT，并连接电源，从完全放电到充满电大约需要3.5小时。在这期间，绿色LED指示灯闪亮

模式为长闭短开循环。当电池充满电后LED指示灯熄灭。采用快速充电模式充满电后，不要在拔出电

源连接后又立即马上接上电源，因为这样会重新启动快速充电模式，即使电池已经充满电。重复这样

的操作会损坏电池。参见“BeforeYouBegin”开始操作之前的说明部分。

连续充电模式

当打开PALBT时进行充电，电池大约会在24小时后充满。在这段时间，LED灯会不断发亮。

低电能

当PALBT打开，没有在充电，电池开始放电，PowerManagementSystem电源管理系统会使绿色

LED指示灯闪亮模式为短闭长开循环，表示电池需要充电。随着电池越来越接近无电状态，指示灯闪

亮的速度会越来越快，直至PALBT自行关闭，以保护电池。从指示灯开始闪亮到PALBT关闭，大约

是20分钟至数小时。很难准确预计这个数字，是因为有很多决定因素，包括PAL BT已经播放多长时

间，音量多大，电池剩余电能多少等。例如，低音量播放会比高音量播放的时间更长。用户可根据使

用习惯，探索出这个时间。使用蓝牙无线技术时，电池消耗速度会更快。

如果PAL BT是打开到FM或AM模式，若电源指示灯关闭，则电池需要充电。在FM或AM模式下，当

电源指示灯关闭时，还可继续播放一小短时间，这是正常现象。

如果PALBT远离交流电或其它电源一段较长时间后，明智的做法是在再次使用PALBT前先充电，尤

其是当LED指示灯开始闪亮时。可按照快速充电模式的说明步骤操作。

注意，电源LED指示灯在快速充电模式时闪亮方式会有所不同。因为使用的是镍氢电池，无记忆，不

需要等到电池完全放电后才再进行充电。当然，完全放电后再充电也无害处。

不使用PAL BT时，也插上电源，可保证在你要用到时依然有电。在不使用时，也接上电源，以确保

当你需要使用时本产品时电池已充好电。如果电源没有接上，电池会逐渐自行放电，作为安全防护。

一边充电，一边播放PALBT不会有害处。

记住，使用新的PAL BT产品或长达数周不使用后，要通过4次充电/放电过程，电池才会达到最大容

量。

更换电池组

如需更换电池组，拉起FM伸缩天线，用小型的Philips头螺丝刀拧出两颗锁紧电池组的盖片的螺丝。

打开盖片，拔掉连接线，更换电池组。然后正确接上连接线。重新装上盖片，先把盖片底部对准装

上，再拧螺丝。用于更换的电池组，可与授权经销商/代理商联系。

注意：如果电池更换不正确，则有爆炸的危险。您只能用相同类型或等效效果的电池更换它。请

仅使用Tivoli Audio电池。

关于PAL BT



PAL BT具有耐候性，但不是完全防风雨的。不可把产品泡在水中，或暴露于雨中。

也不要在极度的气温下使用。

 PALBT是便携式设计，但也不是坚不可摧的。不要掉落地上，或有重物撞击。

 提起PALBT时，要抓住它的侧凹面。

 PALBT的防滑、耐候性涂层较耐用，但使用不注意还是会留下刮痕。

 PALBT的电池是磁屏蔽的，可靠近电脑或电视显示屏使用。

 使用电源充电时会稍发热是正常现象。

Bluetoothワイヤレス技術が搭載された本テーブルラジオは、音楽をワイヤレスでストリーム

再生をする事が可能です。

本製品の機能を最大限にお楽しみいただくために、この取扱説明書と、安全上のご注意をよく

お読みいただき、よくご理解のうえ、お使いくださる様にお願いいたします。

製品の梱包箱やパッキングなどは、本製品の輸送時などに必要となりますので、保管しておく

ことをお奨めいたします。輸送時の製品破損についての修理は、無償保証規定外の修理と

ご使用の前に：

本機は電池が空の状態、もしくは、蓄電が若干量が残った状態で工場から出荷されます。

開封後、スイッチがO󰮏の状態で、電源コードを本機に接続し、コンセントに差し込んで

充電を行ってください。（「高速充電モード」を参照）。初めて充電を行う、また、長期

間電源に接続せず、電池が空になった状態から再度充電を行う際は、充電中を示す緑の

LEDが点滅し始めるまでに時間が掛かることがあります。これは電池を損傷から保護する

電源管理システムの機能が作動している為です。

本機を初めて充電するとき、または、長期間充電せず、電池が空に近い状態から再度充電

をする場合、電池がフル充電されるまでに、最大4回の充放電サイクルが必要となる場合

があります。

本機を使用されない間も、電源に接続をしたままにしておくことで、常に電池が充電され

ている状態を保つことができます。本機が電源に接続されていなければ、フル充電の状態

であっても、蓄電池の性質上、電池は徐々に自己放電を行い、最終的には空の状態となり

ます。

尚、電源に接続したままで本機をご使用いただいても、機器への悪影響はございません。

前面

チューニングダイヤル：アナログダイヤルを左右に回すと、FM/AM周波数を変更できます。 5:1レート

のチューニングダイヤルのギヤ比により、簡単に正確なチューニングができます。

パワーインジケーター（緑LED)：電源オン、充電モード、バッテリーの状態など、製品の状態を示し

ます。「電池パックについて」の項目ご参照。

ソースノブ：電源がOFFの状態からノブを反時計回りに１つ回すとFM、２つ回すとAMに切り替わ

ります。３つ回すとBluetoothモード[BT]となります。「Bluetoothの操作について」の項目ご参照。

音量調節ノブ：音量を調節します。屋外等で音量を大きくする場合は周りの迷惑にならないよう、

音量を調節してください。ヘッドフォン（付属品ではありません）を接続した際も、このノブで音量

の調節ができます。

背面

F M アンテナ：FMを聴く時は、このテレスコピックアンテナを最適な受信状態になる位置に調整し

てください。 FM信号が強い場所では、アンテナを短くすることで受信状態が良くなることがありま

す。本機を使用していない場合やAMを聴く時は、保護のためにもアンテナを畳んでおいてくださ

い。アンテナはAMの受信に影響を与えません。AMを聴く場合は、本体を動かして内部アンテナを

受信状態の良い方向に調整してください。

ペアリング：Bluetoothなど、デバイスを新たに接続するには、このこのボタンを長押ししてペアリ

ングモードにします。

外部入力端子：本機と別の別のデバイス（ポータブルCDプレイヤーやMP3プレイヤーなど）を接続

して音楽を楽しむ際は、デバイスのオーディオ出力端子をこの入力端子に接続し、ソースノブをAM

に切り替えます。この端子は 3.5mmのステレオミニプラグ（オス）に対応しています。 AUXモードで

接続したデバイスの音量は、ラジオを聴く際の音量レベルとは異なるため、調整が必要になること

があります。この端子を使用しない時は、ラバープラグを挿し込んでおいてください。

ヘッドフォン出力端子：ヘッドフォンをこのステレオ出力端子に接続します。ヘッドフォンの音量は、

本機の音量調節ノブで調整できます。ヘッドフォンを接続すると、メインスピーカーから音が聞こえ

なくなります。この端子は 3.5mmのステレオミニプラグ（オス）に対応しています。この端子を使っ

て録音をしたり、高音質のステレオチューナーとして使用することもできます。この出力端子を使用

しない時は、ラバープラグを挿し込んでおいてください

電池ケース：電池パックを入れてください。ケースには純正の電池パック以外の電池を入れないで

ください。交換時は「電池パックの交換」の項目を参照ください。

6. DC入力端子：付属のチボリオーディオ 9V 2A ACアダプターをこの端子に接続し使用します。付属

のACアダプター以外は使用しないでください。 ACアダプターが破損・紛失した場合は、Tivoli Audio

にまたは認定代理店にお問い合わせのうえ、純正交換品をお求めください。この端子を使用しない

時は、ラバープラグを挿し込んでおいてください。

Bluetooth® の使用：

ペアリングの前に、デバイスが別のBluetoothに接続していないか確認してください。デバイスによって

ペアリングの方法が異なる場合があります。通常の方法は以下のとおりです。

1. ソースノブを[BT]に合わせ、背面の[ペアリング]ボタンを押してください。

2. デバイスのBluetoothワイヤレスを有効にしてください。

デバイスの画面で[Tivoli Bluetooth]が表示されたら、選択します。デバイスによっては、PINの入

力が必要になります。入力が必要な場合は「0000」と入力すると、 [Tivoli Bluetooth]が「未接続」

から「接続済み」に変わります。

デバイスがペアリングされたら、ワイヤレスで音楽をお楽しみください。音量レベルは音楽ファイ

ルによって異なります。通常デバイスの再ペアリングが必要になることはありませんが、デバイス

によっては必要になることがあります。その際は、上記の手順を繰り返す前に十分な時間をおい

てください。

電池パックについて

本機はリチウムイオンの密閉式電池パックを使用しています。パワーインジケーター　緑のLEDは、電源、

電池、充電の状態を示しています。

Tivoli Audio PAL BT専用の電池バップ以外は使用しないでください。電池がフル充電された状態で、約１

２時間の使用が可能です。（使用状態、環境による）

高速充電モード

本機がO󰮏で、電源コードに接続された状態で充電を行うと、高速充電モードとなります。このモードでは、

電池が全くの空の状態からフル充電されるまで、約3.5時間ほどかかります。この間、緑のLEDは長い点灯と

短い消灯のサイクルで点滅します。電池がフル充電されるとLEDは消灯します。

高速充電モードでフル充電された後、すぐに電源コードを抜いて、再度接続するようなことはしないでく

ださい。電池がフル充電されているにも拘わらず、高速充電モードが再度スタートしてしまいます。これ

を繰り返した場合、電池に負荷がかかり、損傷が起こる可能性がございます。充電に関しましては「ご使用

の前に」も合わせてご参照ください。

低速充電モード

ソースノブがFM、AM、BTで、電源コードに接続して充電を行うと、低速充電モードとなります。電池が全

くの空の状態からフル充電されるまで、約24時間ほどかかります。この間、緑のLEDは点灯したままとな

ります。

電池残量が少なくなった際

ソースノブがFM、AM、BTで、電源コードに接続されていない状態で電池が消耗してくると、緑色のLEDが

点滅し、再充電が必要であることを知らせます。さらに電池が消耗すると、点滅速度は次第に速くなり、最

終的に本機は自動的に停止します。点滅が始まり本機が停止するまでの再生可能時間は、20分から数時

間の範囲内と推測されますが、実際の使用時間は、音量の大小、Bluetoothの接続、非接続等の使用環境

により異なります。

本機を電源接続なしで使用される際は、事前に「高速充電モード」の手順に沿って、十分に充電しておい

てください。

電池パックの交換

FMアンテナを上方に引き上げ、プラスのドライバーを使って電池収納部カバーを固定している2本のネ

ジを取り外します。

電池カバーを開き、設置されている電池パックからリード線を外し、新しい電池パックに交換します。その

際に、正しくリード線に接続されているか、十分に注意、確認してください。

電池カバーを元通りにはめ直したあと、ネジでカバーを固定します。
