IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put cord, plug, or mixer
body in water or other liquid. Ensure the appliance does not get wet (water
splashes, etc.) and do not use with wet hands.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
attachments or accessories, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug
and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH MOVING PARTS. Touching moving parts
can cause serious injury.
6. Keep hands, hair and clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils, away
from beaters during operation to reduce risk of injury to persons and/or
damage to mixer.
7. Remove beaters from mixer before washing. Electric shock and/or damage to
the mixer can occur if the mixer is immersed in water.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Potential
electric shock or re can result from using the mixer if its cord or plug is
damaged. Contact a qualied technician for inspection, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
9. Only use attachements supplied with the appliance.
10. Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces,
including stove. The protective insulation may burn, making the appliance
inoperable or unsafe to operate.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
12. Exposure to high heat can damage the exterior or interior components.
13. Switch the unit to off before unplugging unit to reduce risk of electrical shock.
14. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or maker
small quantities at a time to reduce spoilage.
15. Slide the speed switch all the way down to the “OFF” position to turn the unit
OFF at any time..
16. Do not use outdoors. This unit is designed to be used only indoors.
17. WARNING: To reduce risk of personal injury, always unplug mixer before
inserting or removing beaters.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT
SAFEGUARDS
All users of this appliance must read and understand this owner’s manual before
operating or cleaning this appliance.
1. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical
outlet only.
2. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
3. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately press the ON /
OFF button to turn off, then unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair a
malfunctioning appliance.
4. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water!
6. Do not use this appliance after it has fallen into or becomes immersed
in water.
7. To reduce the risk of injury to persons or property, never use this appliance in
an unstable position.
8. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.
9. To avoid overheating, do not operate for longer than 3 minutes at a time.
Allow the motor to cool down for 30 minutes between use.
NOTE: When nished with the mixer, turn the unit OFF. Then remove the
beaters by pressing the eject button and unplug.
Notes on the Cord
The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should
be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over
a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord with this product.
Notes on the Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact
a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Plasticizer Warning
CAUTION: To prevent plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the countertop or
tabletop or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between
the appliance and the nish of the countertop or tabletop. Failure to do so may
cause the nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
Electric Power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not
operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
appliances.

Before First Use
Wash the Beaters in warm, soapy water, rinse, and let dry.
Product may vary slightly from illustration.
Using Your Hand Mixer
WARNING: Do not plug the Power Cord into an electrical outlet until the Beaters have been securely
attached.
1. Attach the Beaters: Locate the two half circles near
the end of each Beater. Also locate the breaks in
the Slots in the Motor Housing. Insert the Beaters
into the Slots such that the half circles go into
the breaks. Push down until the Beaters click into
place.
2. Slide the Speed Switch all the way down so “OFF”
is visible. This is the off position. Plug the Power
Cord into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
3. Place the Beaters into the ingredients to be mixed.
4. Slide the Speed Switch to the desired setting.
Speeds range from “1” (lowest) to “5” (highest).
CAUTION: To prevent the Mixer from overheating,
do not operate it for more than ve minutes at a
time. Allow four minutes off after ve minutes of
operation.
NOTE: For best results, begin with the lowest speed setting (“1”) and increase to a higher speed as
necessary.
5. When adding ingredients, turn the Mixer off and allow the motor to stop. Lift the Beaters out of the
mixture and rest the Mixer on its Heel. Add ingredients and place the Beaters back into the mixture
before continuing.
6. When mixing is complete, turn the Mixer off. Make sure the motor has stopped before lifting the
Beaters out of the mixture. Unplug the Power Cord from the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Always turn the Mixer off and unplug the Power Cord before leaving the Mixer
unattended and when it is not in use.
7. Eject the Beaters by rmly pressing the Eject Button.
CAUTION: Never eject the Beaters while the Mixer is operating.
Tips:
• Refrigerated ingredients such as butter and eggs should be at room temperature before mixing
begins. Set these ingredients out ahead of time.
• Assemble all ingredients and utensils near the Mixer.
• To eliminate the possibility of eggshells in your recipe, break eggs into a separate container rst,
then add them to the mixture.
• When mixing egg whites, be sure the mixing bowl and beaters are thoroughly clean and dry. Even a
small amount of oil on the beaters or in the bowl could cause the egg whites to not aerate.

• Always start mixing at slow speeds. Gradually increase to the recommended speed stated
in a recipe.
• Do not over-mix. Take care to only mix ingredients until recommended in the recipe. At any step,
over-mixing can cause toughness, lack of rising, or excess shrinkage. Fold in dry ingredients only
until just combined. Always use the lowest speed necessary.
• During mixing, ingredients may splash onto the sides of the Mixing Bowl. Turn the Mixer off and
use a plastic or rubber utensil to scrape the bowl. Do not use a metal utensil, as they may damage
the Beaters if contact is made. A light scraping after the addition of each ingredient helps achieve
best results.

Care and Maintenance
WARNING: Always ensure the Mixer is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool completely
before cleaning it.
NOTICE: Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads to clean the Mixer.
• This Mixer was permanently lubricated at the factory before shipping and will not require further
lubrication for the life of the Mixer.
WARNING: Additional lubrication of electric motor parts could create a re hazard.
• Clean after each use. Remove the Beaters from the Motor Housing before washing. The Beaters
are dishwasher safe but will be more thoroughly cleaned if hand washed with warm, soapy water.
Clean the exterior of the product by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.
• Store the Mixer in a cool, dry place.

SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date
of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and
workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole
discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be
defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof
of purchase is required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this
product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and
conditions of the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or
current, improper routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc.
personnel. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods,
hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness
for a particular purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some
states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to
you. The warranty covers specic legal rights which may vary by state, province
and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues
over the phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the
problem, you will be provided with a case number and asked to return the product
to SENSIO Inc. Attach a tag to the product that includes: your name, address,
daytime contact telephone number, case number, and description of the problem.
Also, include a copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged
product with the sales receipt, and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid)
to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for
the returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

Advertencia sobre los plasticantes

en un circuito eléctrico separado de otros aparatos.
Antes de usar por primera vez
Lave los mezcladores con agua tibia jabonosa; enjuague y deje que se sequen.

Cómo usar su batidora de mano
ADVERTENCIA: No enchufe el cable de alimentación en un tomacorriente eléctrico hasta haber colocado
los mezcladores de manera segura.
1. Coloque los mezcladores: Busque los dos
semicírculos cerca del extremo de cada mezclador.
Además, coloque las ranuras en las aberturas que
se encuentran en la carcasa del motor. Inserte los
mezcladores en las aberturas de manera tal que los
semicírculos pasen por las ranuras. Empuje hasta
que los mezcladores encajen en su lugar.
2. Deslice el interruptor de velocidad hasta visualizar

5. Cuando agregue ingredientes, apague la batidora y espere que el motor se apague. Levante los
mezcladores de la mezcla y apoye la batidora sobre su base de apoyo. Incorpore los ingredientes y
coloque los mezcladores nuevamente en la mezcla antes de continuar.
6. Cuando termine de batir, apague la batidora. Asegúrese de que el motor se haya detenido antes de
levantar los mezcladores de la mezcla. Desenchufe el cable de alimentación del tomacorriente.
ADVERTENCIA: Apague siempre la batidora y desenchufe el cable de alimentación si la debe dejar
sin supervisión y cuando no la utilice.
7. Para expulsar los mezcladores, presione rmemente el botón Eject (Expulsar).
PRECAUCIÓN: Nunca expulse los mezcladores cuando la batidora está en funcionamiento.
Consejos:
• Los ingredientes refrigerados como la mantequilla y los huevos deben estar a temperatura
ambiente antes de comenzar a mezclar. Retire estos ingredientes del refrigerador con tiempo.
• Reúna todos los ingredientes y utensilios cerca de la batidora.
• Para evitar el ingreso de cáscara de huevo en su receta, primero rompa los huevos en un recipiente
separado y luego incorpórelos a la mezcla.
• Al batir las claras de huevo, asegúrese de que el tazón para batir y los mezcladores estén limpios
y secos. Incluso si ingresa una pequeña cantidad de aceite en los mezcladores o en el tazón, es
posible que las claras de huevo no se eleven.
• Comience siempre a batir a baja velocidad. Aumente gradualmente la velocidad hasta llegar a la
velocidad que indica la receta.
• No bata en exceso. Tenga la precaución de mezclar los ingredientes solo durante el tiempo
recomendado en la receta. Si bate en exceso en cualquiera de las etapas, la mezcla podría quedar
dura, podría no elevarse o se podría reducir. Incorpore los alimentos secos hasta que estén
integrados a la mezcla. Use siempre la menor velocidad necesaria.
• Durante el batido, es posible que los ingredientes salpiquen sobre los laterales del tazón para batir.
Apague la batidora y use un utensilio de plástico o goma para raspar el tazón. No use un utensilio
de metal, ya que podría dañar los mezcladores al entrar en contacto con este. Raspar ligeramente
después de incorporar cada ingrediente ayuda a lograr mejores resultados.

Cuidado y mantenimiento
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese siempre que ha desenchufado la batidora del tomacorriente y deje enfriar por
completo antes de limpiar.
AVISO: No utilice esponjas o limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar la batidora.
• Esta batidora se lubricó de forma permanente en la fábrica antes del envío y no será necesario
volver a lubricarla durante toda la vida útil de la batidora.
ADVERTENCIA: Si se vuelven a lubricar las piezas del motor, podría ocasionar un incendio.
• Limpie después de cada uso. Quite los mezcladores de la carcasa del motor antes de lavar. Los

Si este no puede resolver el problema, le proporcionarán un número de caso
y le solicitarán que devuelva el producto a SENSIO Inc. Adhiera una etiqueta
al producto que incluya: su nombre, dirección, número telefónico de contacto
durante el día, número de caso y descripción del problema. Además, incluya
una copia del recibo de compra original. Envuelva cuidadosamente el producto
etiquetado con el recibo de compra, y envíelo (con el envío y el seguro
prepagados) a la dirección de SENSIO Inc. SENSIO Inc. no asumirá obligación ni
responsabilidad alguna por el producto devuelto que esté en el trayecto hacia el
Centro de servicio al cliente de SENSIO Inc.
