DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo
solamente con corriente alterna (50/60 Hz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara
en la toma de corriente, inviértela. Si aún no
entrara completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este aparato es bitensión. Se adaptará
automáticamente al voltaje adecuado. Puede
que sea necesario emplear un adaptador de
enchufe (no se incluye) para utilizarlo fuera
de los Estados Unidos.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Su aparato le permite escoger entre 25 niveles
de temperatura, según su tipo de cabello. Si
su cabello es fino, le recomendamos que
utilice un nivel de temperatura bajo. Si su
cabello es espeso, grueso, ondulado o
resistente, le recomendamos que utilice el
nivel de temperatura alto. ¡Personalice la
temperatura, según su tipo de cabello!
GUÍA PARA UN SÚPER PEINADO
La mejor apariencia empieza por un corte de
cabello bien mantenido. Siempre cuide su
cabello con champúes, acondicionadores y
productos de peinado de calidad superior.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL RIZADO
1. Enchufe el aparato en una toma de
corriente de 120/240V.
Oprima el botón ON/OFF. El indicador
luminoso rojo empezará a parpadear. Cuando
el aparato alcance el nivel de temperatura
deseado, la luz roja dejará de parpadear y
permanecerá encendida. Oprima el botón
turbo; la luz verde se encenderá. Para apagar
el aparato, oprima el botón ON/OFF. Las
luces se apagarán.
Nunca deje el aparato desatendido después
de encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el aparato
se apagará automáticamente después de 60
minutos.
2. Para crear tirabuzones y rizos apretados,
trabaje con secciones de cabello de 1
pulgada (2.5cm). Sostenga el aparato en
forma horizontal, oprima la manija para
abrir la tenaza y coloque las puntas debajo
de la pequeña pinza. Afloje la manija para
sujetar el cabello. Enrolle el cabello alrededor
del tubo, hacia la raíz. Espere durante 5–7
segundos. Desenrolle lentamente el cabello
y oprima la manija para aflojar el cabello.
Repita estos pasos con cada sección de
cabello, hasta que todo el cabello esté rizado.
3. Para poner el cabello en forma más
rápidamente, utilice la función opcional Turbo
Heat
®
. Simplemente oprima el botón turbo
durante el uso para aumentar la temperatura
de las placas de 20°C/36°F y conseguir
resultados óptimos.
REVESTIMIENTO DE CERÁMICA
El tubo de su nueva tenaza está cubierto de
un revestimiento cerámico increíblemente

Notará que el cabello se desliza fácilmente
sobre el tubo. Además, la cerámica ayuda a

Este aparato cuenta con 25 opciones de
temperatura, para permitirle escoger la
temperatura perfecta para su tipo de cabello,
desde el más fino hasta el más resistente.
Simplemente elija la temperatura adecuada
para su tipo de cabello y cree el peinado de
su elección.
Y esto no es todo... Su aparato también
disfruta de los mismos estándares de calidad

A diferencia de otras herramientas cuya
temperatura baja durante el uso, este

12. Do not place the heated curling iron
direct ly on any surface or on the appliance
power cord while it is hot or plugged in. Use
the stand provided.
13. Do not touch hot surface of the appliance;
use handles or knobs.
14. Before plugging in, read the information
about dual voltage contained in the Operating
Instructions of this manual.
15. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This curling appliance is intended for
household use. Use on Alternating Current
(50/60 hertz) only. This appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This curling iron has dual voltage. It will auto-
matically adjust to the proper voltage. Use an
adapter plug with correct configuration, prior
to use in outlet.
GETTING STARTED
The iron’s 25 temperature settings and Instant
Heat technology provide styling versatility for
all hair types. If you have fine hair, a low tem-
perature will provide the best results. If you
have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl hair, keep the
heat setting on high. You can vary the iron’s
temperature according to your particular need!
SUPER STYLING GUIDE
Your best looks begin with a good haircut
that’s well maintained. Always treat hair right
with superior quality shampoos, conditioners,
and finishing products.
CURLING BASICS
1. Plug the curling iron cord into a standard
household electrical outlet (120/240V).
Press the ON/OFF button and the red indica-
tor light will blink. When ready to use, the red
indicator light will remain on. Press the Turbo
button and the green indicator light will come
on. Press ON/OFF button again and the red
and green lights will go off.
Never leave your curling iron on and unat-
tended. However, should you fail to turn the
iron off, it will shut itself off automatically in
approximately 60 minutes.
2. To create spiral curls and ringlets, work
with 1 inch sections of hair, one at a time.
Hold iron horizontally, press the automatic
curl release, and place the ends of your hair
under the shortened iron spoon. Release the
automatic curl release to clamp hair in place.
Wrap hair in between spiral grooves on barrel,
twisting upward toward the hair roots. Leave
hair wrapped for approximately 5–7 seconds.
Unwind hair from barrel; open the automatic
curl release to unclamp hair. Repeat procedure,
styling small sections at a time, layering the spi-
ral curls as you go, until all hair is curled.
3. To achieve faster styling, these units fea-
ture a unique optional Turbo Heat
®
burst.
Press the Turbo button to deliver up to
20°C/36°F more heat in the highest setting
for maximum styling performance.
STYLING WITH THE EASY-GLIDE
CERAMIC-COATED BARREL
The barrel of your new curling iron has an
Easy-Glide ceramic-coated surface, the
newest technology.
This means you’ll find that hair glides easily
over the surface of the barrel as you’re curling
it and the ceramic-coated surface also helps
smooth down flyaways and frizzies. As you
wind each strand around the barrel, it evenly
distributes heat so that the style you create
has a salon-perfect, silky smooth, shining
finish. Hair also slips right off the barrel after
it’s curled. The new ceramic technology is a
pleasure to work with and makes styling your
hair easier and the results more professional.
Plus, it’s simpler to clean off styling product
residue, etc., after each use.
USING INSTANT HEAT, THE 25 VARIABLE
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS & UNIFORM HEAT
RECOVERY SYSTEM
This styling iron features Conair’s Instant
Heat technology, which includes 25 variable
temperature settings for every type of hair,
from the finest to the curliest and most
resistant. Select the temperature range that’s
suitable for your hair type to help you create
the look you want.

USER
MAINTENANCE
Your curling iron is virtually maintenance free.
No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the curling
iron from the power source, allow to cool and
wipe exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal
condition occurs, unplug the curling iron,
allow it to cool and return it for repair to an
authorized service center only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord
around the curling iron. Damage will occur
at the high flex point of entry into the curling
iron, causing it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop
use immediately if damage is visible or if unit
stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a
safe, dry location out of reach of children.
Do not jerk or strain cord at plug connections.
Do not wrap the line cord around the
appliance. Allow the cord to hang or lie
loose and straight at the point of entry into
the appliance.
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER
Everyone knows that electricity and water are
a dangerous combination. But did you know
that an electric appliance is still electrically live
even if the switch is off? If the plug is in, the
power is on. So when you are not using your
