MINI-4 4 CHANNEL SOUND- CHASER
Thank you for purchasing the MINI-4 4 channel
sound-chaser. To optimize the performance of
this product, please read these operating instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the
basic operations of this unit. MINI 4 is a four
channel, sound-chase. This unit has been tested at
the factory before being shipped to you . There is no assembly required.
WARNING: To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose this unit to rain
or moisture. Clearing memory often may cause damage to the memory chip, be careful not to
reinitialize your unit frequency often to avoid this risk. Only use the recommended AC/DC power
adaptor.
CAUTION: There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Do not attempt any repairs
yourself, doing so will void your manufactures warranty. In the unlikely event your unit may require
service, please contact your nearest our dealer.
OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
This device is a lighting controller for controlling other devices like spots in discotheques, on stages
ect. This product is allowed to be operated with an alternating current of 230V, 50Hz and was
designed for indoor use only.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
You can install the device at any desired place in dry rooms. Please make sure that the device is
not exposed to extreme heat, moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You
endanger your own and the safety of other!
Do not operate the device in extremely hot (more than 30

C) or extremely cold (less than 5
o
C)
surroundings. Keep away from direct insulation (particularly in cars) and heaters.
Operat the device only after having familiarized with its functios Do not permit operation by persons
not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
Never use solvents or aggressive detergents in order to clean the device! Rather use a soft and
damp cloth.
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
Never remove the serial barcode from the device as this would make the guarantee void.
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product
may suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead
to dangers like short-circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

Gire el mando de control completamente a la izquierda o no funcionará con música. Si gira el
mando SPEED en sentido horario, incrementará la velocidad del chaser.
Gire el mando de control de sonido en sentido horario, MINI 4 hará el chase ante las notas
graves de la música. NO es necesario ningún cable de conexión entre la fuente sonora y
MINI 4 gracias al micrófono de condensador incroporado.
Si se funde el fusible de MINI 4, sustitúyalo únicamente por otro del mismo tipo y valor
( F6.3 A, 250 V)
Antes de sustituir el fusible desconecta la alimentación:
Proceda:
Paso 1: Abra la tapa
Paso 2: Retire el fusible fundido del portafusible
Paso 3: Instale el nuevo fusible
Paso 4: Cierra de nuevo la tapa
Le recomendamos una limpieza frecuente de la unidad. Use un paño suave. Nunca use
disolventes o alcohol.
No hay elementos de control para el usuario en el interior. El mantenimiento y reparación
deben ser realizados sólo por personal autorizado.

FUNCTIONS AND CONTROLS FRONT PANEL, REAR PANEL
1. Power Switch: This switch controls the units main power.
2. Mode Switch: This switch will change the operate mode between CHASE and AUDIO
3. Green LED Indicators: These LEDs will indicate their relevant channel activity.
4. Speed knob: This knob will adjust the speed from SLOW to FAST.
5. Power Output: Four channel output.
6. Power Fuse: F6.3A/250V.
7. Power Input: The main power input.
CONNECTIONS
SOUND INPUT
The sound signal is picked up via the integrated condensor microphone. This is why not extra
connection to the sound source is necessary.
MAINS INPUT
Plug the power-plug into your safety socket.
The occupation of the power-cord (3x0.75mm

) is as follows.
Earth (E) = Green/Yellow cable
Neutral (N) = Blue cable
Live (L) = Brown cable
The earth has to be connected!
OUTPUTS
Output is via four IEC-output-sockets on the rearpanel.
Connect your loads via the output-socket. The maximum load per channel is 300W (resistive) or
150W (inductive). Please note that the maximum current of 5 A mus t never be exceeded.

7. Alimentación
La entrada de sonido se toma mediante el micrófono de condensador incroporado. NO es
necesaria ninguna conexión adicional.
Conecte la clavija en un enchufe adecuado
La nomenclatura del cable de 3 x 0.75 mm es la siguiente
Tierra (E) cable Amarillo/Verde
Neutro (N) cable azul
Fase (L) cable marrón
El cable de tierra debe ser conectado
La salida se realiza mediante 4 clavijas IEC en el panel trasero
Conecte la carga en estos conectores. La carga máxima por canal es de 300 W (resistiva)
o 150 W (inductiva). Tenga en cuenta que la corriente max. De 5 A no debe ser superada.

OPERATION
After you connected the device to the mains, the MINI-4 is ready for use.
LIGHT CHASE
Turn the sound control completely to the left or do not play any music. If you turn the SPEED
CONTROL clockwise, you can increase the chaser speed.
SOUND CHASE
Turn the sound control clockwise and the MINI 4 will chase to the bass beat of the music. There
is no need for a cable connection to the sound source as the MINI 4 features a built-in condensor
microphone.
DISPLAY
The four LEDs provide steady control over the outputs.
REPLACING THE FUSE
If the fine-wire fuse of the MINI-4 fuses, do only replace the fuse by a fuse of same type and
rating (F6.3A, 250V fast).
Before replacing the fuse, disconnect from mains
Procedure:
Step 1: Open the housing.
Step 2: Remove the defective fuse from the fuseholder.
Step 3: Install the new fuse in the fuseholder.
Step 4: Close the hosing again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
We remmend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free moistened cloth. Never
use alcohol or solvents!
There are no servicable parts inside the device. Maitenance and service operations are only to be
carried out by authorized dealers.
Should you need any spare parts, please use genuine parts.

Gracias por la adquisición de MINI 4, con chase activado por audio de 4 canales. Para optimizar
el rendimiento de este producto, lea cuidadosamente estas instrucciones de uso para familiarizarse
con las operaciones básicas deesta unidad. MINI 4 ha sido comprobada antes de ser embarcada.
No incorpora piezas que deban ser montadas.
AVISO: Para prevenir o reducir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, no exponga la unidad a la lluvia
o humedad. Limpiar la memoria con mucha frecuencia puede dañar el chip de memoria, sea
cuidadoso y no reinicialice la unidad de manera continuada. Use únicamente el adaptador AC/DC
recomendado.
PRECAUCION: No hay elementos de control para el usuario en el interior de la unidad. NO trate
de reparlo por si mismo, ya que invalidaría la garantía. En el caso de que necesite reparar la
unidad, diríjase a su distribuidor.
FUNCIONAMIENTO

, etc. Este producto funciona con corriente alterna y está diseñado para su uso en interiores.
NO fuerce la unidad, evite la fuerza brusca durante la instalación o funcionamiento de la unidad.
Instale la unidad en una zona seca de la sala, asegúrese que el dispositivo no está expuesto a
