Q: How come my Car Charger Power Bank isn’t showing any indication of life,
even though I pressed the power button?
A: There are a few possible causes:
• The PBC-3012 has run out of power;
• There is something wrong with the USB cord connecting the two de-
vices;
• Some short circuit occurred (correct by plugging the unit back into a
cigarette lighter socket momentarily);
• Your phone or other device is fully charged.
Q: Why am I getting no power, no lights of any kind even when I plug the Car
Charger Power Bank into the car’s cigarette lighter socket?
A: Most likely, the fuse has blown. To check, unscrew the tip of the unit with
the ridged thumb screw. [It’s a good idea to do this over a bowl or a secure
area so that parts do not fall on the oor and get lost.] The actual tip ts with-
in the thumb screw, so keep it handy. Remove the old fuse and look through
the glass. If the wire is completely intact, it’s not the fuse but another prob-
lem and you should contact Customer Support. If the wire inside the glass
is severed or melted, replace with the same model fuse, F2AL250V, readily
available in hardware stores.
