Safety
• Make sure that theelectrical socket that theproduct
is plugged into is easily accessible in case it
and theconnected product need to be quickly
disconnected from themains electricity.
•Do not connect products of this type to each other.
•Do not cover theproduct.
• The product is intended only for use indoors.
• Devices connected to theelectricity meter should
be of thesame power rating and specifications.
Product Description
The electricity meter measures how much energy
anelectric device uses. Theelectricity meter can
calculate thetotal cost of running adevice if theprice
of each KWh is entered. Thedisplay shows, amongst
other things, thevoltage, power, energy consumption,
kWh, and theresistive load (VA) of theconnected
device. This product should be connected to
anearthed socket.
Buttons
• [ MENU ] Press to view
cost, tariff, kWh, VA, Volts,
Amps, Hz and power
factor.
•[ SET ] Use to set thetariff
and kWh.
• [

settings.
• [ + ] Use to change
settings.
• [ RST ] Hold in this button
to reset theunit to its
factory settings. Cost, tariff
and kWh are not reset.
Guide to the functions
Press the[
MENU ] button to view thefunctions in
thefollowing order:
1. COST
Shows thepresent load.
Shows thetotal cost
(up to 9999.99).
2. TARIFF
Shows theprogrammed
tariff.
3. kWh
Shows thetotal
consumption in kWh.
4. W
Shows thepresent
consumption in Watts.
Note: Theminimum unit
of power that can be
measured is 5 W.
5. VA
Shows theactive +
reactive power.
6. V
Shows thevoltage of
thepower supply.
7. A
8. Hz
Shows thefrequency of
thepower supply.
9. PF
Shows thepower factor.
10. RESET
When theunit is reset,
all thesymbols will be
displayed for abrief
moment.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product
should not be disposed of with
general household waste. This applies
throughout the entire EU. In order to
prevent any harm to the environment
or health hazards caused by incorrect
waste disposal, the product must
be handed in for recycling so that
the material can be disposed of in a
responsible manner. When recycling your product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact the place of
purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed
of in an environmentally sound manner.

Setting the electricity meter
1. Connect theelectricity meter to anearthed wall
socket. Theelectricity meter will start and for
amoment all thesymbols will appear on thedisplay.
2. After about 3 seconds theelectricity meter will
enter thecost mode (fig.1) and thedisplay will show
thelatest cost calculation.
3. Press [ SET ] once. “TARIFF” will appear on
thedisplay and theright-hand digit will flash.
4. Press [

→
] to choose which digit you wish to set.
5. Press [ + ] to set thevalue of thedigit that flashes.
Press [
←
→] once again to choose thenext digit you
wish to set.
6. Press [ SET ] to show and set thevalue
themeasurement of kWh is to start at. Thedefault
setting is 0, but this can be changed if you wish
to set theelectricity meter to thesame setting as
anexisting electricity meter.
7. Set thekWh as instructed above.
8. When you have set theelectricity meter, plug in
thedevice you wish to measure. Metering begins
at once.
Care and Maintenance
Always remove theelectricity meter from
thewall socket before cleaning it. Wipe with
asoft, lightly moistened cloth.
