INTRODUCCIÓN
Con el fin de que obtenga el mayor desempeño de su grabadora, por favor lea este manual de
instrucciones cuidadosamente antes de comenzar a utilizarla.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
• Siempre apague la unidad después del uso.
• Guardar la unidad lejos de objetos magnéticos, fuentes de agua o de calor.
• Usar una tela suave limpia humedecida con agua tibia para limpiar el gabinete. Nunca use químicos
que podrían dañar unidad.
• Nunca toque el lente. Si las huellas digitales quedan en el lente, límpielo suavemente con un
producto de limpieza e lente comercial.
• Desconectar la unidad de cualquier fuente de alimentación antes de la limpieza.
• Las huellas digitales y el polvo deben limpiarse con cuidado de la superficie del disco con una tela
suave.
• Nunca use productos químicos como sprays de registro, sprays antiestáticos, benceno o tiner para
limpiar discos compactos. Estos productos químicos pueden dañar irreparablemente la superficie
del disco.
• No manipule el cable de alimentación de energía con las manos mojadas.
• Evite mantener la unidad conecta por tiempos prolongados.

OPERACIÓN DE CORRIENTE ALTERNA
Antes de encender la unidad asegúrese de ajustar el voltaje de suministro de energía correcto, de lo
contrario puede ocasionar una sobrecarga y averiar la unidad. Conecte el cable al enchufe de corriente
alterna.
OPERACIÓN DE BATERÍA
Desconecte completamente el cable de alimentación de energía. Abra el compartimiento de las baterías
e inserte seis unidades de UM-2 C con loas polaridades en la posición que se muestra en el
compartimiento de la grabadora.
OPERACIÓN DEL RADIO
1. Sitúe el interruptor en función de RADIO
2. Seleccione la banda de emisora en AM – FM según desee
3. Seleccione la emisora deseada con el botón de selección de emisora
4. Sitúe el interruptor en función TAPE para apagar la radio
Antena
Extienda completamente la antena para una mejor recepción de emisoras Frecuencia Modulada. Las
estaciones AM cuentan con antena interna.
OPERACIÓN DE CASETE
1. Presione expulsar para abrir el compartimiento del casete, inserte el casete y empuje la puerta del
compartimiento para cerrarla.
2. Sitúe el interruptor en la función TAPE y presión Reproducir.
3. Para detener la reproducción del casete pulse PARAR
ADELANTAR Y ATRASAR
Puede adelantar y atrasar el casete rápidamente con esta función.
PARAR AUTOMÁTICAMENTE
Cuando la reproducción o la grabación finalizan la operación del casete se detiene automáticamente.
Precaución: para evitar el daño del casete o de la cinta del casete presione DETENER siempre entre
cada operación
GRABAR DESDE RADIO
1. Sitúe el interruptor en función de RADIO
2. Seleccione la estación de radio deseada
3. Inserte un casete en blanco
4. Presione los botones REC y REPRODUCIR simultáneamente para comenzar la grabación. Con el
Nivel de Control Automático incorporado se ajusta la calidad de grabación automáticamente.
Cambiar el nivel de volumen no afecta el volumen de grabación.
5. Presione DETENER para finalizar la grabación
6. Esta operación se detiene automáticamente al finalizar la cinta.

GRABAR DESDE CD/MP3
1. Sitúe el interruptor en la función CD/MP3
2. Presione el botón CD/MP3 para seleccionar el modo de CD
3. Inserte el CD o el MP3 en el compartimiento
4. Inserte un casete en blanco en el compartimiento del casete
5. Presione los botones REC y REPRODUCIR simultáneamente para comenzar la grabación.
Con el Nivel de Control Automático incorporado se ajusta la calidad de grabación automáticamente.
Cambiar el nivel de volumen no afecta el volumen de grabación.
6. Reproduzca el CD/MP3/USB
7. Esta operación se detiene automáticamente al finalizar la cinta del casete
GRABAR DESDE DISPOSITIVO USB
1. Sitúe el interruptor en función de CD/USB
2. Presione el botón CD/USB para seleccionar el modo de USB
3. Inserte la unidad de USB en el compartimiento
4. Inserte un casete en blanco en el compartimiento del casete
5. Presione los botones REC y REPRODUCIR simultáneamente para comenzar la grabación.
Con el Nivel de Control Automático incorporado se ajusta la calidad de grabación automáticamente.
Cambiar el nivel de volumen no afecta el volumen de grabación.
6. Active la función de “CD/MP3/USB”
7. Esta operación se detiene automáticamente al finalizar la cinta del casete
OPERACIÓN DE CD/MP3/USB
Reproducir CDs de audio
1. Sitúe el interruptor en la función CD/USB
2. Presione el botón CD/USB para seleccionar el modo de CD. En la pantalla aparece el ícono de
Disco Compacto
3. Inserte el CD en el compartimiento, ciérrelo y el Cd se reproduce automáticamente mostrando el
número de pistas después de leer.
4. Presione REPRODUCIR/DETENER para comenzar o pausar la reproducción
REPRODUCIR ARCHIVOS MP3 CON USB
1. Sitúe el interruptor en la función CD/USB
2. Presione el botón CD/USB para seleccionar el modo de USB
3. Inserte la USB en el compartimiento, ciérrelo y La USB se reproduce automáticamente mostrando el
número de pistas después de leer.
4. Presione REPRODUCIR/DETENER para comenzar o pausar la reproducción
ADELANTAR Y RETROCEDER
1. Durante la reproducción o mientras está pausado presione ADELANTAR o ATRASAR para
reproducir la anterior o siguiente posta.

MODOS DE REPRODUCCIÓN
Presione el botón MODO para seleccionar las distintas formas de reproducción en la siguiente
secuencia:
Para CD: Repetir ¨ repetir Todo ¨ Aleatorio ¨ Normal
Para MP3: Repetir ¨ Repetir Álbum ¨ Repetir Todo ¨ Aleatorio ¨ Normal
PROGRAMAR (DESDE EL CONTROL REMOTO)
EN CASO DE REPRODUCIR CD DE AUDIO
1. La programación tiene que hacerse mientras la reproducción está detenida.
2. Presione el botón PROGRAMAR, en la pantalla aparece P01 y el flash.
3. Presione el botón ADELANTAR o ATRASAR para seleccionar la pista que desee.
4. Presione el botón PROGRAMAR para guardar la pista en la memoria, la pantalla LCD muestra P02
y un flash titilando.
5. Repita los pasos del 2 al 3 para guardar más pistas en la memoria. Puede guardar hasta 20 pistas
en la memoria.
6. Presione REPRODUCIR/DETENER N para reproducir el CD en el orden seleccionado.
7. Presione DETENER para parar la reproducción.
8. Para cancelar la lista programada, presione el botón DETENER y abra el compartimiento del CD
para seleccionar una función diferente (TAPE o RADIO)
Reproducir MP3
Realice el mismo procedimiento. Pero si tiene un directorio en el CD, primero seleccione el directorio y
luego la pista.
CONEXIÓN DE AURICULARES
Conecte los auriculares al puerto correspondiente para escuchar música a modo privado. Al conectar
los auriculares los parlantes de la grabadora se desconectan automáticamente.
CONECTOR PARA AUX Y MP3
1. Inserte el cable de su MP3/iPod en la línea de salida o en la conexión de micrófono. Algunos
dispositivos se conectan en el puerto AUX/MP3 correspondiente.
2. Encienda su unidad y sitúe el interruptor en la función AUX/MP3-IN.
3. Asegúrese de encender su dispositivo y siga sus instrucciones.
4. Sitúe el interruptor en la función TAPE para detener la reproducción.

Abra el compartimiento de las baterías e inserte dos pilas “AA”. Apunte el control al sensor remoto. Las
funciones de los botones son las mismas a las de la grabadora.

AC OPERATION
Before switching on make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the
rating plate. Connecting to other power sources may damage the unit.
Connect the plug to the AC socket of the unit and the other end to a standard AC outlet.
Attention
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to avoid shock risks
caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 6 pieces UM-2 "C" size
batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Set the function switch to RADIO position.
2. Set the Band Switch to the AM or FM position.
3. Turn the Tuning Knob to your desired radio station.
4. Adjust the sound level by rotating the Volume Control knob.
5. To turn off the radio, set the Function Switch to TAPE position
Antenna
For best reception, fully extend the FM Antenna to receive FM stations. For AM reception, the unit has a
built-in antenna, turn the whole unit for best reception.
CASSETTE OPERATION
Tape Playback
1. Press the Eject button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette tape into the Cassette Compartment and
push the cassette door to close.
2. Slide the Function Switch to TAPE position and press the Play button to start playing the tape.
3. Adjust the Volume Control knob to your desired volume level.
4. To stop the tape, simply press the Stop button.
Fast Forward and Rewind
The tape can be fast forward or rewind by pressing the Fast Forward button or Rewind button respectively.
Auto Stop System
When the tape runs to its end during playback or recording, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Caution : To avoid damage to the cassette mechanism or to the cassette tape, always press the Stop button
between each operation.

Recording From Radio
1. Set the Function Switch to RADIO position.
2. Tune to desired radio program as described in the ‘Radio Operation’ section.
3. Insert a blank cassette tape into the Cassette Compartment.
4. Press the Record button and the Play button simultaneously to start recording. With the built-in Automatic
Level Control (ALC), the best recording quality is automatically adjusted. Changing the volume level will not
affect the recording.
5. To stop recording, press the Stop button.
6. When the tape runs to its end, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Recording From CD/MP3 Player
1. Slide the Function Switch to CD/USB position.
2. Press the CD/USB button to select CD mode.
3. Put a CD or MP3 disc into the CD compartment with the label on top.
4. Insert a blank cassette tape into the Cassette compartment.
5. Press the Record button and the Play button simultaneously to start recording. With the built-in Automatic
Level Control (ALC), the best recording quality is automatically adjusted. Changing the volume level will not
affect the recording.
6. Activate the CD player as described in the ‘CD/MP3/USB Operation’ section.
7. To stop recording, press the Stop button of the cassette deck.
8. When the tape runs to its end, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Recording From USB Storage Device
1. Slide the Function Switch to CD/USB position.
2. Press the CD/USB button to select USB mode.
3. Plug your USB device into the USB port on the unit, the unit will start reading the files in the USB device, it
will show the total number of tracks of the device after reading.
4. Insert a blank cassette tape into the Cassette compartment.
5. Press the Record button and the Play button simultaneously to start recording. With the built-in Automatic
Level Control (ALC), the best recording quality is automatically adjusted. Changing the volume level will not
affect the recording.
6. Activate the USB device as described in the ‘CD/MP3/USB Operation’ section.
7. To stop recording, press the Stop button of the cassette deck.
8. When the tape runs to its end, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
CD/MP3/USB OPERATION
Playing Audio CDs
1. Set the Function Switch to CD/USB position.
2. Use the CD/USB button to select CD mode, Compact Disc icon will appear on the LCD display.
3. Insert a CD disc in the CD compartment and close the CD door, the unit will start reading the disc, it will show
the total number of tracks of the entire disc after reading.
4. Press the Play/Pause button to start playing the disc.
5. During playing, press the Play/Pause button to temporarily pause playing. To resume, press the Play/Pause
button again.

Playing MP3 Discs
1. Set the Function Switch to CD/USB position.
2. Press the CD/USB button to select the CD mode, compact disc icon will appear on the LCD display.
3. Insert a MP3 disc into the CD Compartment and close the door, the unit will start reading the disc, it will show
the total number of songs of the entire disc after reading.
4. Press the Play/Pause button to start playing the disc.
5. Press the Folder Up or Folder Down button to select the folder you want to listen.
6. During playing, press the Play/Pause button to temporarily pause playing. To resume, press the Play/Pause
button again.
Playing MP3 Files With USB
1. Set the Function Switch to CD/USB position.
2. Press the CD/USB button to select the USB mode.
3. Plug your USB device into the USB port on the unit, the unit will start reading the files in the USB device, it
will show the total number of tracks of the device after reading.
4. Press the Play/Pause button to start playing the MP3 files.
5. Press the Folder Up or Folder Down button on the remote control to select the folder you want to listen.
6. During playing, press the Play/Pause button to temporarily pause playing. To resume, press the Play/Pause
button again.
Skip Mode
1. During play or pause mode, press the Skip Up button to go to the next track.
2. During play or pause mode, press the Skip Down button to go back to the beginning of the track. Press the
Skip Down button again will go back to the previous track.
Different Play Mode
Press the Mode button to select different kinds of play mode with the following sequence.
For CD Disc : Repeat ¨ Repeat All ¨ Random ¨ Normal
For MP3 Disc : Repeat ¨ Repeat Album ¨ Repeat All ¨ Random ¨ Normal
Programming (operates by remote control only)
In case of Playing Audio CD
The programming should be done during STOP mode
1. Press the Program button, the LCD display will show P01 and flash.
2. Use the Skip Up or Skip Down button to select the desired track.
3. Press the Program Button again to store the selected track in the memory, the LCD display will show P02
and flash continuously.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 to store more tracks in the memory. You can store up to 20 tracks in the memory.
5. Press the Play/Pause button to start playing the disc in the programmed order.
6. To stop playing, press the Stop button.
7. To cancel the programming list, press the Stop button and open the CD compartment door or select a
different function TAPE or RADIO.
In case of Playing MP3
All procedure is same as Audio CD. But if you have directory in your disc, you have to select directory and track
both.

STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
For private listening, insert the plug of a stereo headphone into the Stereo Headphone Jack and adjust the
Volume Control knob accordingly. During the use of a headphone, the speakers are automatically disconnected.
AUX/MP3-IN CONNECTION
1. Insert the audio cable into the Line Out Jack or Phones Jack on your MP3 Player/iPod. Another ends inserts
into the corresponding AUX/MP3-IN Input Jack on your main unit.
2. Turn on your main unit and slide the Function Switch to AUX/MP3-IN position.
3. Make sure your device in component is turned on, and follow your component’s instruction.
4. To stop this function, simply slide the Function Switch to TAPE position.
REMOTE CONTROL
Open the Battery compartment door and insert two pieces "AA" size batteries into the battery compartment with
battery polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.
Point the remote control at the remote sensor. The functions of the buttons on the remote control are same as the
corresponding controls on the main unit.

Note:
Because of none-standardized format definition/production of MP3 CD, playback quality & performance are not
guaranteed.
Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of MP3 in any case due to recording conditions such as PC
performance, writing software, media ability and etc.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Precautions
y Always turn off the unit after use.
y Keep the unit away from magnetic objects, water or heat sources.
y Use a clean soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to clean the cabinet. Never use chemical cleaners that
could damage the finish of the unit.
y Never touch the CD pickup and lens. If fingerprints get on the pickup lens, clean it gently with a commercial
lens cleaner.
y Disconnect the unit from any power sources before cleaning.
y To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc out, holding it
carefully by the edges.
y Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc’s recorded surface with a soft cloth. Unlike
conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust and microscopic debris so gently wiping
with a soft cloth should remove most particles. Wipe in a straight line from the inside to the outside of the disc.
Small dust particles and light stains will have absolutely no effect on reproduction quality.
y Never use chemicals such as record sprays, anti-static sprays, benzene or thinners to clean compact discs.
These chemicals can irreparably damage the disc’s surface.
y Discs should be returned to their cases after use. This avoids serious scratches that could cause the Laser
pickup to skip.
y Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperatures for extended periods. Long
exposure to high temperatures can warp the disc.
y Do not stick paper or write anything with a ballpoint pen on the label side of the disc.
