(spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
11. This curling wand is hot when in use. Do not let
heated surfaces touch eyes or skin.
12. Do not place the heated curling wand
directly on any surface or on the appliance
power cord while it is hot or plugged in. Use the
stand that is provided.
13. Before plugging in, read the information about
dual voltage contained in the Operating Instructions
section of this manual.
14. Do not attempt to touch the housing of your
appliance near the curling barrel, as it is hot when
in use.
15. Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance.
Use the handles or knobs.
16. Do not use with a voltage converter.
17. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This curling wand is intended for household use.
This unit is designed to operate at 120–240 volts
AC. Use on Alternating Current (50/60 hertz) only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on hair
extensions. DUAL VOLTAGE
This curling wand will automatically adjust to the
proper voltage. Use an adapter plug with correct
configuration prior to use in outlet.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the cord of the wand into any 120V–240V
household outlet. Slide switch to ON position; red
light will indicate power is on. The wand will heat
up very quickly. To turn off, slide switch to OFF
position and red light will go off. Never leave your
curling wand on and unattended.
WARNING: The wand’s ceramic-coated barrel
will get extremely hot within a few seconds
after being turned on. Never let the barrel touch
the skin when the curling wand is on.
STYLING WITH THE NEW
CERAMIC-COATED BARREL
Your new curling wand has a ceramic-coated
barrel, the latest in technological advances. The
ceramic technology produces the ultimate in
healthy-looking, shiny, silky hair. The ceramic
surface also helps smooth down flyaways and
frizzies. As you curl your hair, heat is evenly
distributed so that the style you create has a salon
perfect, silky smooth finish. Hair also slips right off
the barrel after it’s curled.
The new ceramic technology is a pleasure
to work with, makes styling your hair easier and
provides professional salon results at home.
You’ll find not only that hair glides easily over the
surface as you’re styling, but it’s simpler to clean
off styling product residue, etc., after each use.
TO CURL HAIR
For best results, use a light styling product
before blow-drying hair.
1. Take a 1-inch wide section of hair, starting
2 inches from the scalp.
2. Wind the section of hair around the barrel toward
the cool tip.
3. Hold the ends of the hair in place at the cool tip
for 5 to 10 seconds depending on hair type, and
then release. No clamp allows you to easily curl
hair without kinks. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll
less hair. For loose, free-flowing curls, roll more
hair. To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair
until it cools.
4. Repeat process on additional sections of hair
until you achieve the hairstyle you desire. Some
experience is necessary when learning to use this
curling wand. After using it several times, you will
learn the ideal way to curl and style your hair.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your curling wand is virtually maintenance free. No
lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and openings
clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning becomes
necessary, disconnect the unit from the power
source, allow it to cool, and wipe exterior with a
cloth. If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the
unit, allow to cool, and return it for repair to an
authorized service center only. No repairs should
be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the appliance. Damage will occur at
the high flex point of entry into the appliance,
causing it to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the
cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately
if damage is visible or if unit stops or operates
intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to store.
Allow appliance to cool, then store out of reach of
children in a safe, dry location. Do not jerk or
strain cord at plug connections. Do not wrap
the line cord around the appliance. Allow the cord
to hang or lie loose and straight at the point of
entry into the appliance.

absence of a receipt, the warranty period shall be

Para uso doméstico solamente. Este aparato ha
sido diseñado para funcionar con corriente de
120–240 V AC. Utilícelo solamente con corriente

El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe
polarizado (una pata es más ancha que la otra).
Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar
de una sola manera en la toma de corriente
polarizada. Si no entra en la toma de corriente,
inviértalo. Si aun así no entra completamente,
comuníquese con un electricista. No intente ir en
contra de esta función de seguridad.
NOTA: no utilice este aparato en cabello
sintético/extensiones.
DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este aparato se adaptará automáticamente al
voltaje adecuado. Nota: puede que sea necesario
emplear un adaptador de viaje (no incluido) para
utilizarlo fuera de los Estados Unidos.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente de
120/240 V. Encienda el aparato, poniendo el
interruptor en la posición “ON”; el indicador
luminoso rojo se encenderá. El aparato se
calentará muy rápidamente. Para apagar el
aparato, ponga el interruptor en la posición
de apagado (“OFF”); el indicador luminoso rojo

NUEVO REVESTIMIENTO
DE CERÁMICA
El tubo de su nuevo rizador está cubierto
con cerámica, el resultado de una tecnología
avanzada. El revestimiento de cerámica deja el
cabello sedoso, brillante y resplandeciente de
salud. La cerámica también ayuda a controlar la
estática y el frizz. La cerámica distribuye el calor
uniformemente durante el rizado; el resultado es
un cabello sedoso y brillante. Además, no retiene
el cabello después de rizarlo.
Es un placer trabajar con esta nueva tecnología,
pues facilita el peinado y logra resultados óptimos.
Notará que el cabello se desliza fácilmente sobre
la superficie y que esta es muy fácil de limpiar
después de cada uso.
CÓMO RIZAR EL CABELLO
Para obtener resultados óptimos, aplique
una loción fijadora ligera en el cabello antes
de peinarlo.
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1 pulgada
(2.5 cm). Agarre una sección de cabello,
empezando a 2 pulgadas (5 cm) de la cabeza.
2. Enrolle el cabello alrededor del tubo, hacia la
punta aislante.
3. Sostenga el cabello por las puntas durante 5 a
10 segundos (según el tipo de cabello), y luego
desenrolle suavemente el cabello. Siempre
obtendrá hermosos resultados, fácil y rápidamente.
Para obtener rizos apretados y elásticos, divida el
cabello en secciones más delgadas. Para obtener
rizos sueltos y naturales, enrolle secciones más
gruesas. Permita que el cabello se enfríe antes de
peinarlo para “fijar” los rizos.
4. Repita el proceso en cada sección de cabello,
hasta conseguir el estilo deseado. Será necesario
experimentar un poco al principio. Con práctica,
encontrará la manera perfecta para rizar su cabello
fácil y rápidamente.

INSTRUCCIONES
DE MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.
No necesita lubricación. Mantenga todas las

NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable.
Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del aparato;
esto puede dañar la junta flexible que lo conecta al
aparato, produciendo su rotura o un cortocircuito.
Revise el cable con frecuencia para asegurarse de
que no está dañado. Deje de usar el aparato
inmediatamente si el cable está visiblemente
dañado o si el aparato deja de funcionar o

ALMACENAJE
